[0:00] Late last night, Donald Trump's sit-down Fox News interview, hosted by his own daughter-in-law, [0:04] Laura Trump, finally aired. And it was a friggin' mess, full of ranting and raving and incoherence [0:10] from Donald Trump himself, as well as evidence of hard-cut editing, suggesting that Fox News is [0:16] deceptively editing its interviews with Donald Trump to make him look more palatable, although [0:21] I gotta say, they ultimately failed in the end. And we have to talk about this interview because [0:26] even by Trump's standards, it's pretty damn deranged. All right, folks, we have a few clips to play. [0:40] Let's jump right on in. With Iran. So what does a good deal look like for you? [0:45] Well, first of all, there's no deal that's good enough because the media will cover it. We're [0:49] making a great deal. We're gonna make a great deal. Or we'll just go back and finish it off [0:53] militarily. But this would go faster. It's probably better on a humane standpoint. There's [0:59] something nice about it also. You save a lot of lives. Whether it's the other side or not, [1:04] you save a lot of lives. But we're close to a very good deal. And if we can make it good, [1:08] otherwise we just start up with the Department of War, as we call it. And it's been very successful. [1:14] You saw Venezuela. It was a one. All right. So it's so funny to me. Yeah, [1:18] we're very close to a deal. Well, he's been saying that for weeks and we're getting reports that [1:22] they're, quote unquote, very close to a deal. And yet the deal keeps getting delayed, delayed, [1:26] delayed. What information is leaked about the deal from credible, varied sources looks like, [1:32] by MAGA's lights, it's going to be considerably worse than the Obama-Iran nuclear deal, [1:36] which Trump shredded during his first term and started this entire fiasco, which resulted in [1:41] the deaths of 13 American service members because of Donald Trump, 168 Iranian schoolgirls because [1:46] of Donald Trump, because the United States under Donald Trump vaporized their school with a double [1:51] tap from Tomahawk missiles. Thousands of Iranian, Israeli, and Lebanese civilians who have been [1:57] killed along the way because of this disastrous war. And it looks like no real good deal, right, [2:03] in terms of Iran surrendering their enriched uranium. Certainly Trump won't be able to [2:07] resurrect the dead who have died because of him. It looks like a total disaster. But again, [2:13] it's so funny how he talks about, well, we definitely want a deal because, I mean, that would be a more [2:17] humane approach. But if need be, we'll just go bomb the shit out of them with the Department of War. [2:22] Sure seems like you're not really interested in humane results. [2:25] 100%. Their military, we sort of left it alone because we think that their military is [2:30] somewhat moderate. They have other people that aren't moderate. We've taken them out. We've [2:37] taken different forms of leadership out. We've actually left their military alone. People would [2:40] be surprised to hear that. We would be surprised to hear that. We would, in fact, be very surprised to [2:45] hear it because, as people are pointing out, this clip is going viral. Trump has been ranting and [2:50] raving for weeks and months that the Iranian military has been totally vaporized. For example, [2:56] this True Social post from April 11th, excuse me, so a month ago, the fake news media is crazy [3:03] or just plain corrupt. The United States has completely destroyed Iran's military. Now he's [3:07] saying, well, actually, we left their military alone. People would be surprised to hear that. [3:10] But also your fake news if you're reporting that we didn't destroy their military. [3:13] Your fake news if you say we didn't destroy their military, but also actually the fake [3:17] news is right and we didn't destroy their military. A lot of people would be surprised [3:20] by that. Which is it? You're either lying then or you're lying now or somehow lying under [3:23] both circumstances. But either way, you are in fact lying, including their Navy and Air [3:28] Force and everything else. Their leadership is dead. So you mean this three-month war, which [3:35] is going on and on and on and inflicting so much pain? You've depleted so much of America's [3:41] own munitions in this war and you've left their military alone? Again, Donald Trump in April, the United States has completely destroyed Iran's [3:57] military. They actually left their military alone. Again, Joe from Jers, people would be surprised [4:07] to hear about a military he's said no less than 500 times that we totally decimated. Tom [4:13] Nichols, um, Covey had maybe the people, maybe the reason, quote, people would be surprised [4:18] to hear that is because Trump and his entire administration have been saying Iran's military [4:22] has been completely destroyed. It just goes on and on and on like this. So again, he's [4:24] lying or senile, one of the two. Now, as I mentioned, um, we see evidence along the way [4:31] that Fox News has very carefully edited Trump's video, that we're not getting the full Monty. [4:36] We're not getting the full unfiltered deal. See if you notice this hard cut for our country. [4:41] And, you know, to really be great, you need a fair media and we don't have a fair media. [4:46] I mean, that's all they can do is lie. Well, that's really be great. You need a fair media [4:50] and we don't have a fair media. I mean, that's all they can do is lie. [4:53] That's what you call a hard cut. And it's funny how he's talking about bitching and moaning [4:56] about how we need a fair media. We need a fair media. And then Fox News, a member of the [5:01] media, conservative media does a hard cut. Why'd you do that? Was it for time? Was it because [5:05] Trump said something particularly egregious and stupid, even by Fox viewers' standards? [5:10] It's interesting because Trump was always complaining about how CBS and other outlets [5:17] deceptively edited their interviews with Vice President Kamala Harris, for example. And he [5:21] actually used it as a predicate for a lawsuit and to use government power to crack down on [5:26] these institutions. And yet Fox News, which is basically state propaganda, the host is his [5:32] own daughter-in-law, Laura Trump. And we see evidence of hard edits there. Interesting. [5:37] Greg Martin noting, quote, fair media as he's doing a softball interview with his daughter-in-law [5:41] on the largest news network, again, with hard cuts along the way. But it makes you wonder, [5:46] what's going on? What is Trump hiding? What could Trump be hiding here? What could Fox be hiding [5:51] as well? What could they both be hiding of this interview with Trump? And then you see this, [5:56] which again, even by Trump standards is, is really dumb and alarming. Brace yourselves. [6:03] Take the B off because most people don't know that, you know, dumb ends with a B, but most [6:08] people don't know. And all I do is I switch the E with a U and you have a Democrat. And I came up [6:13] with that by watching Hakeem Jeffries because he's a dumb person. And I said, he's really dumb. I said, [6:18] Wendman, he's a Democrat. So I think it works. I don't know that it's going to be as good as [6:23] Pocahontas or fake news or so many of the others that we've come up with. There are 25 million people, many of whom were [8:27] murder, criminals, 11,888 were murderers. Most of them committed more than one murder. I don't want [8:34] them in our country. I'm sorry. And, you know, so there are things like transgender, transgender [8:39] mutilization of your children. They want that. They want men to play in women's sports. They want all [8:45] these things. So I don't know. People say, can you ever get together? I don't know. I mean, you know, [8:49] the policies are so different. I want borders. They don't want borders. They want to get rid of, [8:53] you know, they want to get rid of your second amendment. I have to protect the second amendment [8:58] that I have protected it, but we've done a lot. We've done really a lot. And, uh, more people are [9:03] working in the United States right now than at any time ever before. We have more people working [9:08] with $18 trillion. As you've heard many times, I say it all the time. Now I haven't included the [9:13] 12th month, but for 11 months, we have 18 trillion trillion with a T coming into our country. [9:19] Most people don't know the trillion starts with a T just, they didn't know that dumb ends with a B. [9:23] Most people don't know the trillion starts with a T. [9:27] Probably going to say that. Um, okay. So a couple of things it's mutilation, not [9:32] mutilization, which isn't a word. The democratic party doesn't support mutilation. There are no [9:37] $18 trillion investments in the United States by any stretch of the imagination. Um, that's been [9:43] fact checked to hell and back. It's been debunked to hell and back. There's been no substantiation [9:47] or corroboration of those claims. Um, it's just insanity when he says the democratic party doesn't [9:55] want borders. And you can disagree with the Biden administration's, uh, border policy. You can say [9:59] that it was too lax. You can say that they should have taken more stringent efforts, but [10:03] president Biden deported more people per capita than Donald Trump did. And there were more interdictions [10:09] at the Southern border under Biden than there were Trump. If it was truly open borders, Biden would [10:14] have let literally everybody in. There would have been no arrests, no deportations, no interdictions. [10:17] So that's just not true. It's really stupid here. We're gonna play just a few more. Um, [10:24] Donald Trump insists that, uh, California elections are fraudulent and actually Republicans should be [10:29] able to win. There have been so many accomplishments. One of them that you didn't even mention rooting [10:33] out fraud in our country, which I think has meant so much to the American people. I think we can balance [10:38] our budget and JD is doing a great job with his team and they've caught already hundreds of billions [10:44] of dollars of fraud and they haven't even gotten to California yet. California is very fraud. The [10:49] whole thing is a fraud, the whole deal. Their elections are a fraud. Their mail-in votes are a [10:54] fraud, but on the economic standpoint, if we, if we find half of the fraud that's going on in this [11:00] country and we will, we're gonna have a balanced budget very soon. Think of it. So we're not going [11:07] to have a balanced budget because you're so profligate and you're spending number one. Number two, [11:11] Trump has actually contributed more than 25% of the national debt, like all the nation's debt [11:17] ever accumulated for president Washington. Now, uh, to Donald Trump and Trump is responsible [11:21] for more than a quarter of it. That's how fiscally responsible he is. And again, [11:25] this idea that California's elections are fake and fraudulent. What do you mean by that? Well, [11:29] he elaborates here. So next week in California, they will hold their primaries for their governor's [11:35] race. And obviously people are paying very close attention to the mayor race there in Los [11:40] Angeles. Spencer Pratt has come out very hot. People are interested in this. You endorse Steve [11:45] Hilton. Any predictions for what we might see happen in California, despite the fact that we know it's [11:50] a little, little wonky there. You know, they don't have voting votes. Everything's by mail. Okay. So I just want to point out that every state in the country [12:47] does some form of mail-in voting. Montana does a lot of mail-in voting. Montana voted for Trump. [12:52] Donald Trump doesn't take issue with Montana mail-in voting. The only mail-in voting he takes issue with [12:57] is in blue states because blue states don't vote for Trump. It's just that simple. If you do, [13:01] if you're a state, you can do mail-in voting as long as you vote for Trump. Anybody else, [13:05] you're not permitted to do mail-in voting. That's how his petulant, stupid, sociopathic, [13:09] toddler's vision of the world. No, everything that is for me is good. And everything that's for you is [13:15] bad. And you can only do things that are good for me. And I'm a very special boy. That's, [13:18] that's his mindset. And just what a, what a train wreck of an interview. Um, it was the mother of all [13:23] softballs either, obviously, or I should say the daughter-in-law of softball interviews, obviously, [13:28] and still replete with hard cuts, uh, Trump ranting and raving incoherently. Um, and also, [13:34] again, apparently discovering that, um, simple words, um, consists of letters from the very [13:40] beginning, but he's just now finding out about it. I mean, it just really is an indictment of [13:43] where we are as a nation. And, uh, and yeah, I don't think this is going to make him look any better, [13:47] but, uh, kudos for the effort, Laura Trump and Fox news.
