Dr. Fauci Congressional Hearing Biggest Red Flags: Body Language Analysis

[0:00] hey everybody dr g here i'm a clinical and forensic psychologist as well as a body language expert and [0:05] today we're going to be analyzing the behavior and body language of dr anthony fauci before we get [0:09] started with this a couple of quick things one i wanted to make sure you know this is not a [0:12] psychological evaluation of any kind these are just my opinions in addition to that i do want [0:16] to remind you to like and subscribe if you want to see more content just like this all right let's [0:20] go what we're going to be analyzing today is dr anthony fauci providing testimony regarding his [0:25] handling of the covid pandemic this was a shocking hearing dr fauci does not answer one single [0:31] question with anything other than he is pleading the fifth that ultimately leads senator rand paul [0:35] to scheduling a contempt vote next week since dr fauci has received a presidential pardon i also [0:40] want to say that the goal of my videos is to be politically neutral i talk about people on both [0:45] sides of the political aisle my goal is to provide my exact observations regardless of who it is all [0:50] right let's just jump right in member peters members of the committee i served at the nih for [0:57] over 54 years 38 of those as director of now i know i'm stating the obvious here but you can see [1:04] his hands are shaking tremendously right now nih for over 54 years 38 of those as director of the [1:12] national institute of allergy and infectious diseases over that period now we're going to be skipping [1:19] around a lot because this hearing is so long but i'm just going to show you the highlights the [1:22] behaviors that are most interesting recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary [1:30] aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me the only conclusion i can reach is that the sole reason [1:41] he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something anything that could vindicate [1:49] now you see this smile right here now i interpret this because of the context [1:53] as defiance basically saying i'm not going to say anything to incriminate myself so it's a brief smile [1:58] it's an unconscious smile but that's exactly what it means i'm not going to say anything [2:02] is to get me to say something anything that could vindicate his repeated although it pains me to do so [2:13] because of the respect i have for the legislative branch of government and my decade and you see the [2:21] shaking is picking up he's getting ready to say he's going to have to invoke the fifth amendment [2:24] i do think that there is some real anxiety about this strategy and there should be it is a bad [2:29] look i'm going to get more into that as we go but i think this was a disastrous strategy frankly [2:33] under the advice of my attorneys i will invoke my right under the fifth amendment of the constitution [2:40] to refrain from answering your questions thank you now before we continue on i want to briefly talk [2:47] about the fifth amendment because he's going to be using it so much the fifth amendment is to prevent [2:51] self-incrimination so in other words if a question could reasonably lead even to another question that [2:56] could lead to self-incrimination you are allowed to invoke the fifth amendment but it has to be done [3:00] in good faith you cannot just state fifth amendment for everything even if it's entirely unrelated to [3:06] the issue at hand so the way that it gets used here is not exactly correct but a court would be the [3:10] one that would have to determine that so people can do this and get away with it because oftentimes [3:14] it's not going to be challenged in court that section makes it a crime for a witness appearing under [3:18] subpoena to refuse to answer any questions pertinent to the question under inquiry do you have that in [3:24] front of you on the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer so he won't even state whether [3:32] or not he has a paper in front of him that's how extreme this is it's really unbelievable i've rarely [3:38] seen anybody invoke the fifth amendment like this based upon my rights under the fifth amendment let [3:43] the constitution let the record record that the witness has refused to answer whether there's a [3:49] folder in front of him based on his fifth amendment right let's try something what day of the week is [3:56] it today on the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the [4:06] fifth amendment to the constitution what color tie you're wearing on the advice of counsel i respectfully [4:13] decline to answer based upon my rights under the fifth amendment to the constitution what color is the [4:18] carpet in front of you on the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights [4:27] under the fifth amendment to the constitution let's just get one thing straight you don't have [4:31] any rights under the fifth amendment because you've been pardoned as you very well know [4:35] as the supreme court has been clear for a century and more brown versus walker 1896 [4:40] when he has been pardoned he may not stand upon his privilege you know that your lawyer said you [4:46] saw that face scratch right there the more we get distressed the more we have to self-soothe so [4:51] they're tapping into something that is very uncomfortable right now has been pardoned he [4:56] may not stand upon his privilege you know that your lawyer is sitting behind you now shifting [5:01] nervously in their chairs they know it this isn't about the constitution this isn't about the law [5:06] this is about contempt contempt for this body and contempt once again you're seeing the adjustments [5:12] when we're trying to ventilate because our body's starting to heat up we're really seeing him feel [5:16] the pressure right now the constitution this isn't about the law this is about contempt contempt for [5:21] this body and contempt for the american people but i think i know why you're doing it it's because [5:27] you don't want to answer questions it's because you did all kinds of terrible things it's because [5:33] during the pandemic you got rich didn't you you got rich so first you saw him close off his body [5:41] didn't you then you saw him put his fingers underneath his sleeve now this is almost as [5:46] strange as this sounds it's almost like a self-hug it's like embracing oneself it's a way to give yourself [5:50] security because of something that's come up this made you feel particularly anxious you did all kinds of [5:55] terrible things it's because during the pandemic you got rich didn't you you got rich while people [6:02] were dying hundreds of thousands of americans over a million in the end and you were getting rich and [6:07] not only were you doing that you were using federal employees you're seeing the blink rate pickup the [6:12] stress is picking up so when senator holly is going through this this is actually more stress than we've [6:17] seen throughout this hearing i wanted to start with this because this is one of the more significant [6:21] interactions but we're seeing some different behavior while people were dying hundreds of [6:26] thousands of americans over a million in the end and you were getting rich and not only and you saw [6:32] when he was talking about hundreds of thousands millions in the end you see him look down that is [6:36] when people are starting to lose confidence when they look down like that that tends to suggest that [6:40] they are feeling worse about the situation where they're losing confidence in the situation [6:43] hundreds of thousands of americans over over a million in the end and you were getting rich and [6:49] not only were you doing that you were using federal employees with taxpayer money to apply for and solicit [6:57] cash prizes for you personally cash prizes totaling over a million dollars and you're seeing a repetition [7:05] of these behaviors looking down putting his fingers back underneath his sleeve we're seeing it repeated [7:10] over and over again personally cash prizes totaling over a million dollars you did all of that during [7:19] over and over again as senator holly pushes him we're seeing more and more indicators of stress [7:23] prizes totaling over a million dollars you did all of that during the pandemic didn't you that's a [7:31] question on the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the fifth [7:38] amendment to the constitution you remember greg folker before we keep going with the analysis i want to show [7:42] you something that genuinely bothers me greatly this is a redacted broker report and just look at the [7:47] level of detail here we're not talking about basic public information here we're talking about names [7:52] addresses emails phone numbers possible associates relatives sometimes it can be so much information [7:57] that bad actors or scammers can get a pretty good picture of your life as someone who specifically [8:02] covers fauci having had a pardon on top of refusing to answer even the [9:01] simplest questions is wild i've never seen anything quite like this i don't think anybody has frankly [9:06] it was a nine hundred thousand dollar cash award nine hundred thousand dollar right now it appears [9:13] that dr fauci is looking at his pen he seems to be moving his pen around but he is looking down we [9:18] see that when it comes to losing confidence and as he's talking about this as senator hawley is going [9:23] through all of this he's not looking up much at senator hawley at all this is once again different than [9:28] the rest of the hearing cash award and he got it because he used federal employees to get it and [9:36] this wasn't the only award was it dr fauci in fact you applied for and received at least eight other [9:43] federal cash prizes as he continues to look down i think it accomplishes two things one i think that [9:48] he's probably looking at the fifth amendment statement he's just probably reading it over and [9:52] over again in his head to sort of ignore this but it also allows him to disengage to not have to take [9:57] in everything because it can be overstimulating to look at somebody when they are coming at you with [10:01] information like this so i think at this point it's just a way to shut down everything on federal time [10:07] using federal employees and federal resources here they are over my shoulder there you go again he's [10:12] touching his face right here federal time using federal employees and federal resources here they [10:17] are over this line of questioning really seems to be causing a lot of stress your staff and employees [10:23] on federal time using federal resources being paid with federal dollars are soliciting cash for you [10:29] and then they're turning around and saying to the agency we don't want just an answer we want to get [10:33] to yes because fauci wants the money he wants it we want to get to yes and yes takes time this is your [10:42] chief of staff again using federal email to pressure the agency's own ethics people so that you could get [10:50] money so that you could get rich and there the hand is going underneath the sleeve again we're seeing [10:56] that over and over again during the more stressful periods of this five cfr section 2635205b it says [11:04] it right there in black and white you cannot use you can see he's using his fingernails to put pressure [11:10] on his wrist right now that's a way to distract that's a way to continue to try to get through something [11:15] right now because he basically can't escape this situation a situation like this is going to engage [11:19] fight or flight and since you can't fight you can't argue about it because you can't say anything [11:24] and you certainly can't escape it's going to cause a lot of distress federal resources federal dollars [11:31] federal employees federal offices federal email federal time to solicit cash awards and you did all [11:37] of it and the worst part is thousands of people were dying while you were doing it you were supposed [11:42] to be the nation's doctor and you're playing one on tv but this is what you were doing with your time isn't [11:47] that true on the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the [11:56] fifth amendment to the constitution yeah yeah i can see why i can certainly see why you know what i [12:03] can't quite figure out is and his head seems to be going a little bit lower the confidence is in fact [12:08] dropping even from where it was before you may have been a good public servant at one time i don't know [12:13] but i can tell you from reading your emails now from looking at what you did how you used your [12:17] employees somewhere along the line it became all about you you became a narcissist and a megalomaniac [12:25] and a liar and you've lied to the american people and you've lied to this body and you've disgraced [12:30] your profession by doing it you called yourself the most famous scientist in the world that was [12:34] interesting when he said you lied to the american people we see this right here let's watch this again [12:39] and a megalomaniac and a liar and you've lied to the american people and you've lied to this body [12:45] and you've just that seemed to have distressed him more than many of the other statements so far [12:49] because it's a very strong signal for self-soothing the one research project that we do know you did [12:54] fund uh is the one that ron fuchier did and it's important to talk about because this sort of was the [13:00] beginning of the debate over gain of function this wasn't and that straightening of the jacket is a [13:04] way to try to regain composure to regain control of oneself now the full sequence is very long but i'm [13:10] going to show you a very brief clip of rand paul throwing out one of dr fauci's attorneys and so [13:15] look this is the way anthony fauci wants to be remembered for a lawyer not listening to the [13:20] rules that's the way you want to be remembered and that's what you're going to do you are not [13:24] recognized sir there was a straightening of the jacket again like i talked about that is a way to [13:29] regain a sense of control but one thing that he's doing and he does very consistently is dr fauci is [13:35] showing as little facial expressions as possible you're not seeing head nods head shakes he is giving [13:40] you absolutely zero information whenever he can uh security please remove him from the ram because if [13:52] you look at the amount of composure that dr fauci has during this somewhat dramatic sequence he's [13:57] showing you absolutely nothing on his face about things that my investigation have revealed that have [14:04] not been adequately answered and quite honestly haven't been adequately covered by the legacy media [14:10] i'll do i'll kind of combine the the questions into now we're seeing a totally different style [14:17] of body language right now this is steepling this is a way to say i am the expert in the room people [14:21] do this when they're providing expert testimony and the research shows that this actually makes [14:25] people more believable so as he sits here like this this is a way to gain control you see president [14:31] trump do this all the time kind of one but you know i certainly let's let's put up the last uh [14:36] covert chart uh i was warned pretty early on about the dangers of the experimental gene therapy [14:44] that uh you've called a vaccine but it really falls on the definition of gene therapy so so not only is [14:50] he steepling he also just put his chin in the air this is a way to signal confidence but i want you to [14:54] see what happens next you've called a vaccine but it really falls on the definition of gene therapy so [15:02] um i was going to ask you i mean were you carefully monitored so it looks like there was an attempt [15:07] of confidence but he could not maintain it typically when you see somebody sit like that and they're [15:11] feeling confident they do it for a long time they don't move but they keep their nose in the air [15:15] keep their hands steepled like that has changed very very quickly monitoring the the safety surveillance [15:21] systems like bayers and v-safe that literally were deluged so again i i was certainly uh interested in [15:29] asking you whether or not you were following this as carefully as i was so now he's back to steepling again [15:34] uh interested in asking you whether or not you were but then goes back to pacifying behaviors [15:39] and closing himself off so when he does steeple when he does try to assert that confidence it [15:43] doesn't seem to last very long following this as careful as i was it's not my responsibility to follow [15:49] uh safety surveillance systems but i did and by the way when i when i published this is this is actual [15:55] government information when i published it and people had me on their shows so it looks like he's [16:02] searching for a way to self-soothe he's actually literally looking around and then you look at his mouth [16:06] right here this is a look of disapproval government information where i published it and people had [16:13] me on their shows they would be censored by facebook they would be deplatformed i think largely the [16:20] best of the actions you took to make sure that just information was see now he's looking at his [16:25] pen as he's spinning it this is a way to disconnect he does not want to have to listen here because [16:30] really all he's doing is waiting for his opportunity to plead the fifth again so he's essentially trying [16:35] to find ways to distract himself to get through this because this must feel very intense because we're [16:39] seeing so much shift in body language these were taxpayer dollars americans have lost trust in [16:46] science and government after the covet response there we go again with the steepling when he's challenged [16:53] about america losing trust in science immediately he takes the position of being the expert that's a very [16:58] interesting response have lost trust in science and government after the covet response trust which [17:06] will be incredibly difficult as the public face of the coronavirus response as one of the nation's [17:15] most trusted voices you urged policies you said were absolutely necessary so right now you can see he's [17:23] steepling but it's weaker typically when people are pushing their fingers together and more of an actual [17:28] steeple that really shows confidence that shows wanting to be an expert this this shows the attempt to [17:33] appear as an expert but there's not much confidence behind it even when those policies came at an enormous [17:41] human and economic cost and americans deserve answers about reports that you may have worked with [17:50] others to pressure press the president into adopting the slow the spread strategy and why you later sought [18:02] an unconditional pardon for crimes you may have committed dating back to 2014. as you can see when [18:09] she mentioned the pardon he closed up more that's when he got more defensive watch this so it goes from [18:14] half confidence to being totally closed off you later sought an unconditional pardon for crimes you may [18:20] have committed dating back to 2014. Dr. Fauci in 2022 you had a taxpayer-funded salary of 480 000 a year you were in fact the highest paid federal employee in the entire [18:39] federal government you can see the way that he's fidgeting right now there's so much discomfort there [18:44] and he's trying to get back to the steepling position employee in the entire federal government [18:50] even making more than the nih director and the president of the united states now we're going to [18:57] watch the interaction that led rand paul to holding a vote for contempt next week i'm going to give you [19:02] one more opportunity to comply with the law limited to the period of your pardon at any point between january 1st [19:10] 2014 and january 19th 2025 did you destroy any federal record or tell anyone else to now right here is a look of [19:22] both disapproval and contempt we see him pursing his lips and disapproval but you can also see the [19:26] corner of his mouth going up which suggests contempt destroy any federal record or tell anyone else to [19:37] under the advice of counsel i respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the fifth [19:42] amendment to the constitution because you refuse to answer citing a privilege that is unsupported [19:48] because of your pardon and after being denied to do so this committee is scheduled to vote next week [19:53] on arrest on a resolution certifying your contempt all right let's go and start to wrap things up [19:57] hopefully this is helping you better understand some of the behavior and body language we saw from [20:01] dr fauci today similarly to when pam bondi provided depositions and testimony she provides you with no [20:06] information you ask her a question she just says i'm just not going to answer that i'm not going to give [20:10] you anything and we'll just cross our arms and refuse to answer and to me this felt very very similar [20:15] regardless of whether or not he felt that there was some sort of political motivation behind it there [20:19] were legitimate questions to provide no information to me is tremendously frustrating because if we look [20:24] at the precedent of other people who have done that there's not good company there but what we saw from [20:29] dr fauci was a lot of stress a lot of discomfort we saw him fidgeting a lot when they were asking some [20:34] very specific questions which i wish that he could have addressed in some way if you have any other [20:39] thoughts about this or if there's anything else you would analyze please let me know in the comments [20:42] below last thing before we get finished up is i do want to remind you to like and subscribe if you [20:45] want to see more content just like this all right thanks for watching
