Donald Trump Was RIGHT To Leave Biased NBC Interview

[0:00] Kristen Welker got yet another opportunity to interview the president. [0:04] It was in Wisconsin and it didn't go well to the point where Trump got up and ended it early. [0:10] Here are some highlights. Watch. [0:13] Do you think it's appropriate that they have an election and five days later they're nowhere close to picking a winner? [0:19] State and local officials acknowledge they are slow. They're urging. [0:22] No, they're crooked. [0:23] They're urging the votes to be counted quickly. That's how they vote in California. [0:26] They're crooked just like you're crooked. Your press is crooked and meet the press is crooked. [0:30] To be fair, I'm not crooked, but let's really when you play right into their hands. [0:33] Let's continue. You're either crooked or you're stupid. [0:36] You play right into their hands with this. You know that these elections are rigged. [0:42] Your network knows that they're rigged and you're crooked and meet the press is crooked. [0:47] And so is ABC and CBS and CNN. [0:51] But Mr. President. You're one sided crooked networks. [0:54] Let's call it quits because I've had it. Thank you, darling. Have a good time. [0:57] Mr. President, let's please. I traveled all the way to Wisconsin. [1:01] I've traveled all. I know I travel all the way for an hour on and off in the rain. [1:06] And I've given you enough time. You want to straighten out your press because you know what? [1:11] A country can never be great travel with a dishonest. [1:14] Listen. Okay. I don't blame him. I got to be honest. I don't blame him. [1:25] He sat there with her for quite some time. Reportedly, they were together for an hour. [1:29] And the problem for Kristen Welker is she made that moment about Kristen Welker [1:35] and about the vaunted reputation of NBC News. [1:38] When you are interviewing the president of the United States, especially Donald Trump, [1:43] you're going to have to give him a little. You got to give him something. [1:50] It's there's a back and forth in an interview where you can't just keep battering him over the head [1:56] at every turn. Look at that exchange. He says, is it appropriate? They're talking about California [2:03] to have an election. And five days later, they're nowhere close to picking. She's a state and local [2:07] officials acknowledge they're slow. They're urging the votes to be counted quickly. He says, [2:11] no, they're crooked. That's how they vote in California, she says. Now, why wouldn't you as [2:18] the news anchor give him that fucking point? I'm sorry. Why wouldn't you say, I understand it. [2:24] It does undermine the confidence for many. That is such a gimme. Give him that. Give him anything. [2:31] Instead, she's got to take every point on because, you know, otherwise you're an election denier. [2:36] I've never said the 2020 election was stolen. A lot of my audience would love for me to say that. [2:40] I can see what's happening in California stinks to high heaven. And you know what? I have [2:46] credibility to say that because I didn't jump on every election denial denier claim and so on. [2:52] Kristen Welker, you undermine your own credibility. You think you're boosting it for NBC [2:56] by not giving him what everybody can see, which is it's suspicious as hell that this woman came out [3:04] of third place, a distant third in all the days after the actual vote and is now going to be the [3:10] second to make it into the general election contest over the one Republican, Spencer Pratt, [3:15] who coincidentally happens to be very Trumpy. Who do they think they're kidding? It's it smells. [3:22] We don't believe it. But again, just like Scott Pelley, she doesn't understand. [3:28] What do you mean? Anybody who would be questioning that would be an election denier. So I have to come [3:33] out and say, oh, no, that's how they vote in California. And he's getting frustrated. [3:38] They're crooked, just like you're crooked. The press is crooked. To be fair, I'm not crooked. [3:42] Would you stop? It's again, don't make heat. This is Trump's tactic. He's angry with you. Don't take [3:48] the beat. You don't have to you don't have to respond to the personal attack in the moment just [3:53] because he makes it whatever or maybe try to be playful. Maybe try to lighten the mood because you [4:00] can see he's getting agitated. He's got a lot on his plate. The whole thing was very antagonistic. [4:04] And so if you watch the whole thing, there was a lot of this prior to the moment we just showed [4:10] you. And I honestly, by the time he got up and walked, I didn't I didn't blame him.
