[0:00] Ladies and gentlemen, the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. [0:31] Well, thank you very much. It's great to be here on this very beautiful day. [0:44] A lot of very positive things happening. [0:46] Less than four months ago, I stood before you to announce the launch of the TrumpRx.gov, [0:53] a brand new website featuring the largest discounts on prescription drugs in the history of our country, [1:00] the history, frankly, of any country. [1:01] And for decades, Americans paid the highest drug prices anywhere in the world, by far. [1:07] But under the most favored nation agreements I negotiated, [1:11] we now pay the lowest price paid for anybody in any country. [1:15] We went from the highest to the lowest. [1:19] And I think outside of maybe a cure itself, it's the biggest thing to happen to healthcare [1:23] and everything having to do with medical in any way, shape, or form. [1:29] There's never been anything like this. [1:30] As we think of it, we went from the most expensive to the least expensive. [1:36] So we've slashed the price of dozens of commonly used prescription drugs [1:40] by differences of 400, 500, and even 600 percent. [1:45] In my first term, I got it down one-eighth of one percent. [1:49] It's the first time in 28 years it went down one-eighth of one. [1:52] And now we're talking about four, five, and six, and even 700 percent, including for weight loss drugs, [1:58] fertility treatments, insulin, and much, much more. [2:02] Since that launch in February, TrumpRx.gov has already been visited more than 10 million times [2:08] and has saved American consumers over $400 million already. [2:12] And it's truly the hottest thing in medicine. [2:15] It's been amazing. [2:16] I asked Dr. Rez, how's it doing? [2:18] Bobby was there. [2:19] He said, nobody's ever seen anything like this. [2:22] So it's great. [2:23] People are saving a lot of money. [2:24] Over the next 10 years, the Council of Economic Advisers estimates that our most favorite nation drug policies [2:31] will save Americans over $500 billion. [2:35] And this has been the greatest breakthrough in lowering health care costs in modern history. [2:40] But we're just sort of getting started, actually, because we have a lot more to come. [2:44] So today I'm thrilled to announce that we're increasing the number of drugs available on TrumpRx by nearly seven times, [2:52] adding over 600 affordable generics to the website, working with industry partners, [2:58] cost-effective generic drugs are often available at just a tiny fraction of the price of their brand name equivalents. [3:07] And in theory, they're the same thing. [3:08] Sometimes they're better with the same dosage, the same effectiveness, and the same active ingredients. [3:14] Yet many consumers do not think to ask for them. [3:18] They don't know about them. [3:20] By incorporating this massive catalog of low-cost generics at TrumpRx.gov, [3:24] consumers will now have one source to ensure that they're getting the lowest possible costs on their prescriptions. [3:32] So they have a real option now. [3:34] Today they have something that they've never had before. [3:37] They've never had anything like this or even close. [3:40] With these additions, TrumpRx will feature the best and lowest prices on prescriptions used by tens of millions of Americans already. [3:48] And in some cases, the discounted generics available through TrumpRx may be offered at an even lower cash price [3:56] than the out-of-pocket insurance costs, which has always been the lowest, but we're going to be lower. [4:02] This means that the TrumpRx.gov should always be your first stop before you go to the pharmacy to pick up your prescription. [4:10] And you'll certainly be checking on your pharmacy by doing this. [4:13] And at a minimum, you'll know what you're supposed to be paying. [4:17] I want to thank the leaders of several major pharmacies and generic drug makers who are partnering with us on this effort, [4:25] including the co-founder of Cost Plus Drugs, Mark Cuban. [4:29] Mark, thank you very much. Mark. Looking good, Mark. Come here, Mark. [4:35] We have the same thing. One thing in common. [4:39] We want to make people better and keep them wealthy, right? [4:42] Good to be with you. [4:44] Vice President of Amazon Pharmacy, Tanvi Patel. [4:48] Thank you very much. [4:50] And the president of Rx Marketplace at GoodRx, Aaron Crittenden. [4:57] Aaron, thank you very much. Great job you're doing. [4:59] With these companies as partners, we're all so getting and adding new tools to take over websites, [5:07] which will connect patients with the lowest-priced pharmacy right in their own neighborhood, [5:12] or alternatively give them the option of getting a discounted prescription ship straight to their door. [5:19] They can have it delivered right to their front door. [5:22] This will provide American consumers with new options, more savings, and unprecedented price transparency, [5:28] putting billions and billions of dollars back into the pockets of hardworking Americans. [5:33] What a difference it's going to make at the end of a week. [5:37] For generations, drug prices have only gone up. [5:40] Under my administration, for the first time in history, drug prices are coming down, [5:44] and they are coming down very, very dramatically and substantially. [5:49] Politicians from both parties promised for decades to make health care more affordable, [5:53] but they all failed, every single one of them. [5:56] And when they thought they had it, they couldn't get other countries to go along. [6:00] I got all the other countries to come along. [6:02] I said, you don't come along, we're going to tariff you. [6:04] And they all said, we'd love to come along, sir. [6:07] But I'm actually getting it done, and I don't care how I do it, [6:10] I got to get it done for the people. [6:11] I want to thank the incredible team behind this historic accomplishment, [6:15] including Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., [6:20] Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Dr. Mehmet Oz. [6:27] What a team, what a team this is. [6:29] And Chief Counselor of Health and Human Services Chris Klump. [6:35] And I also especially have to thank the genius behind the world-class website [6:39] that will soon be serving hundreds of millions of Americans, [6:42] Airbnb co-founder and Chief Design Officer of the United States, [6:47] Joe Gebbia, who's really amazing, and Ed Korstein and the team at the National Design Studio, [6:55] which is as good as you get. [6:58] Under my America by Design executive order, Joe and his design team have been working [7:03] to make your government more beautiful, more modern, convenient and effective. [7:07] In addition to the TrumpRx website, they've built the amazing experience behind trumpaccounts.gov [7:15] and the new food pyramid, Freedom 250, and much more. [7:18] They're doing a job for the country like, I can say, design-wise, nobody has ever seen. [7:24] So, Joe, please show us how TrumpRx is bringing the modern face to health care [7:29] and really helping us to save lots of money and lots of lives. [7:34] Joe, please, thank you. [7:35] Thank you, Mr. President. [7:35] Thank you very much. [7:36] Thank you. Thank you. [7:37] In just months, TrumpRx has accomplished what Washington said couldn't be done. [7:42] Those numbers you shared represent huge savings at real scale for real Americans. [7:47] And none of this would be possible without your leadership [7:49] and your belief that Americans deserve better health. [7:53] So, today's great announcements of more drugs, more pharmacies, and home delivery [7:58] are making health care simpler and smarter for Americans. [8:02] Let's go live to the new TrumpRx experience. [8:04] So, that $400 million saved for Americans, that means better living and less stress for millions of families. [8:13] So, let's browse some of those medications. [8:15] Immediately, you'll see a new section called Presidential Deals. [8:20] These are some of the most affordable brand-name drugs in America, [8:24] made possible thanks to our president's legendary deal-making. [8:27] So, let's take a look at a few of these. [8:30] This is Fondeo, the new GLP-1 pill, 77% off. [8:34] This is the insulin medication, 72% off. [8:37] This is Chulicity, 61% off. [8:40] These are life-changing savings for millions of Americans. [8:46] Now, search also got smarter, too. [8:49] You can now look up brand-name drugs and see the generic version. [8:53] Let's try a brand drug named Glucophage. [8:55] It's for diabetes, and it costs around $20. [8:58] So, search now shows the lower-cost option, metformin. [9:03] Metformin has the same active ingredients, but now watch this. [9:06] The price, $8.42. [9:09] So, you found an affordable price. [9:11] Now, where do you get it? [9:13] You can find your trusted pharmacy in one search. [9:17] Watch how easy this is. [9:18] I'll use mine. [9:19] Capsule Pharmacy. [9:21] Boom, there it is. [9:22] Now, we also created another way to find the best price, introducing MapSearch. [9:29] For the first time, you can see chain and local independent pharmacies on the same map. [9:35] So, here's my location. [9:37] I see an option here at a pharmacy for $18, and a block away, $8.42. [9:43] Now, you can compare for the best medicine prices, as easy as it is to compare hotels or [9:49] Airbnbs or baseball tickets. [9:52] This is simple, transparent healthcare pricing. [9:55] So, when I find what I'm looking for, I take this coupon, show it to the pharmacist, and [10:00] I get the Trumper X price. [10:02] That simplicity is why Trumper X has taken off nationwide. [10:07] Okay, there's one more thing. [10:08] Today, we added new partners for fast home prescription delivery. [10:12] I can actually get this medicine to my door in a day or so. [10:16] So, from search to savings to satisfaction, this is healthcare built for modern life. [10:23] You compare prices on flights, why not medicine? [10:27] Don't just fill your prescription. [10:28] Trump or exit. [10:30] Because the strongest nation on Earth, America, starts with the healthiest people on Earth. [10:36] Mr. President, back to you. [10:38] Great job. [10:39] Beautiful. [10:40] Thank you. [10:41] Well, thank you very much. [10:45] Really amazing, the job you've done. [10:46] And so quickly now, I'd like to ask Secretary Kennedy to say a few words, and Dr. Oz, and [10:52] Mark Cuban, and Chris Klomp, and we'll take a couple of questions maybe at the end. [10:57] Thank you. [10:58] Bobby, please. [10:58] Thank you, Mr. President. [11:02] The epidemic of chronic disease in this country is now existential. [11:07] If you include my agency plus Social Security and the VA, Americans now spend $0.48 out of [11:16] every dollar that we spend in federal taxes, I'll go to healthcare. [11:20] Ninety percent of that is for chronic disease. [11:23] And those costs are increasing at 2 percent at greater speed than the GDP. [11:29] In addition to that, it poses an existential threat to our national security. [11:36] Seventy-seven percent of American kids cannot qualify for military service. [11:41] President Trump has pledged to end the chronic disease epidemic, but in the meantime, many [11:48] people need medications to treat their chronic disease. [11:53] And President Trump has asked us to make this, our country, the most affordable medication [11:58] in the world, and he succeeded in doing that. [12:01] And I want to say one last thing. [12:05] President Bush promised to do this. [12:08] And Clinton promised to do it. [12:10] President Biden promised to do it. [12:12] President Obama promised to do it. [12:14] President Trump actually got it done. [12:17] And it's an extraordinary accomplishment. [12:21] It's an extraordinary legacy for him. [12:24] And it's a gift to the American people. [12:27] And I want to thank you again for your vision and for your determination. [12:31] This is yet another example of this administration, the president's leadership, making life more [12:41] affordable, and it's in a particularly important arena, because almost one in three Americans, [12:47] when they go to a drugstore, cannot afford to pick up the medications that their doctor prescribed [12:52] for them. [12:53] And part of the reason for that, which the president recognized early on and pushed hard until it got [12:57] done, because it was a force of his personality that allowed us to go to all the major pharmaceutical [13:02] companies, representing the vast majority of the marketplace of branded drugs in America. [13:06] But what he realized was we're paying three times more for the exact same drugs made in [13:11] the same facilities, often in this country, than people overseas are paying for those exact [13:15] same drugs. [13:16] Whether it's weight loss drugs, fertility drugs, you name it, we're overpaying for it. [13:19] President wanted that stopped. [13:20] He wanted it stopped now. [13:21] And so he did it. [13:22] The most favored nation drug pricing approach works, using a variety of techniques that [13:28] he outlined. [13:29] But we needed to make sure you had an ability to access these drugs. [13:31] TrumpRx.gov is a phenomenon. [13:35] Over 10 million people have visited the site. [13:37] It is the fastest site of its kind I've ever seen. [13:39] As a physician who's used to looking at medications and having no idea what the patient will pay, [13:43] it's as transparent as you just saw, built by the fantastic team with Joe Jebbia. [13:48] They have added, they started with dozens of medications, Mr. President, which is the number [13:52] of medications that have been negotiated by Chris Klump and the team at HHS. [13:57] Today, 601 more medications were added, 601 more. [14:02] As the president said, seven times more drugs are now in this list, which means something [14:05] really important. [14:06] You should not buy a drug in America without first checking the best transparency site ever [14:11] created for medications to make sure you're not being taken advantage of. [14:15] You wouldn't go grocery shopping without knowing prices. [14:17] You wouldn't buy a car without knowing prices, lease an apartment or anything else. [14:20] You shouldn't do it with the medications that could save your life. [14:23] We believe that more than half of all the prescription interactions in America are now going to be [14:28] revealed on TrumpRx. [14:29] If you wish to use the site in any capacity, this is the time to start. [14:33] It's a technological feat. [14:35] It's created transparency with no middlemen, just what the president promised. [14:39] And for that reason, we ask you today to go look at the site, TrumpRx.gov. [14:42] Ask us to put you on our mailing list. [14:46] So when the team at the National Design Studio wants to contact you about new medications [14:50] that are being offered, new ways for you to save money, new ways for you to make health [14:53] more affordable, so your zip code doesn't determine your health, you'll have TrumpRx.gov to go to. [14:58] Mark Cuban has been an outspoken advocate for more transparency in medications. [15:02] He built a business around it. [15:04] And he's one of the companies that's joining us now to put their products on TrumpRx.gov. [15:08] Mark? [15:13] Thank you for having me, Mr. President. [15:15] I think other than you, I've been the biggest proponent of TrumpRx.com. [15:20] And the reason for that is Republicans want cheaper drugs, independents want cheaper drugs, [15:25] Democrats want cheaper drugs. [15:27] And together, I think we're going to do something special. [15:30] What makes Cost Plus Drugs different is that when you click through TrumpRx to our site, [15:34] not only will you see a great price, but you'll see our actual cost in that we only market [15:39] up 15 percent. [15:40] And what makes this incredible, Mr. President, all the volume and all the people that are [15:44] going to come from the site, as our volumes go up, our costs go down, which means we'll [15:49] be ending up charging less to people over a period of time. [15:53] So this is a special announcement. [15:55] This is a special partnership. [15:56] 559 of those drugs are ours, so we're really excited to be part of this. [16:01] Thank you so much for having me. [16:02] And I'll turn it over to Chris Klopp. [16:03] Thank you. [16:04] Thank you. [16:08] So you've just heard about the addition of generic medications on TrumpRx, which is fantastic. [16:13] TrumpRx is now the true single source of truth for the lowest prices for American families [16:18] on their prescription medications. [16:20] But what matters even more is what comes next. [16:22] So we are on an irreversible trajectory. [16:25] An American family right now taking a GLP-1 will save this year, right now, about $1,800 [16:31] less than they would have four months ago before the advent of TrumpRx.gov. [16:35] An American family trying to conceive and needing fertility medications will save nearly $6,000 [16:42] per live birth, right now, thanks to TrumpRx.gov. [16:46] That's nearly $5 billion going to the pockets of hopeful parents over the next decade. [16:53] So how do we achieve this? [16:55] By proving that in America, you can do well by doing good. [17:00] TrumpRx has created a revolutionary vehicle for a true public-private partnership. [17:05] Private innovators are stepping up to the plate, and they're doing it not just because it's [17:10] the right business decision, but it's the right moral decision. [17:14] So to accelerate this process, we will continue focusing on three things, the same three things [17:18] we talked about you in our last conversation on most favored nation pricing led by the president. [17:23] First, we continue to bring additional industry partners on board. [17:27] Last time we had a conversation with you about MFN, we put out a call to small and mid-sized biotechnology [17:33] manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies to come sit with us to make their product portfolios [17:38] available at MFN prices. [17:40] We've been inundated with demand for discussions to ensure that every American family can continue [17:49] to access MFN prices, not just for the companies that have been negotiated, but for the many [17:53] that are yet to come. [17:54] Number two, as the president mentioned, we are continuing to negotiate international trade agreements. [17:59] Those are well underway, working lockstep with our partners at trade and at commerce. [18:03] And number three, legislation. [18:04] We are continuing discussions on the Hill with Congress to ensure that the president's great healthcare [18:09] plan lasts for decades to come, guaranteeing greater affordability, greater accountability, [18:15] greater transparency for every American family. [18:18] It turns out, as Mark said, there is appetite on both sides of the aisle to make progress on this important point. [18:24] When a parent goes to the pharmacy, they're not thinking about political ideology. [18:30] They're thinking about what's best for their family. [18:32] And today, leaders across the spectrum, irrespective of their party, are standing together [18:37] because Americans demand affordable healthcare and it's an American imperative. [18:42] This president has set us on a course to permanently benefit from lower drug prices as a country. [18:49] The foundation is built. [18:50] The market is engaged. [18:51] The future is affordable. [18:52] And I yield the podium back to the man who made all this possible. [18:55] Thank you, Mr. President. [18:56] Would you like to say something? [19:01] You're over there. [19:02] You look so beautiful and nice. [19:03] You two, come on over here. [19:05] Just say a couple of words about it. [19:06] Thank you. [19:07] Thank you. [19:09] Thank you, Mr. President, for having Amazon here today. [19:11] It's really great to work with the administration and the NDS on building Trump Rx at Amazon Pharmacy. [19:17] It's been our mission to build a pharmacy with price transparency from day one. [19:21] And it's been our mission to make sure that Americans who need their medications know how much they're going to pay out of pocket for brand or generic medications. [19:27] It's what we're built around whether you're paying cash or insurance. [19:31] And we look forward to continuing to innovate on this. [19:33] Thank you. [19:38] I'll move this up just slightly. [19:40] Thank you for having us on behalf of GoodRx. [19:42] Look, we have shared mission as everyone up here to deliver health care that's affordable to every American. [19:47] We couldn't be prouder by what you're doing and be part of it. [19:49] So thank you so much. [19:50] Well, thank you very much. [19:54] Any questions of these brilliant, these brilliant people? [19:58] Yeah, please. [20:00] Go ahead. [20:01] Go ahead. [20:02] Yes. [20:03] Dwight. [20:04] Yes. [20:07] Mr. President, on the IRS. [20:08] They're giving a briefing on it a little while at the mosque. [20:11] They're giving a briefing and it's a terrible situation. [20:14] I've been given some early updates, but we're going to be going back and looking at it very strongly. [20:20] Yeah, please. [20:21] Mr. President, can you speak a little bit about your pause on True Social on Iran and what was the decision that why you didn't attack Iran? [20:36] Other countries have come to me and they've said we were getting ready to do a very major attack tomorrow. [20:41] I've put it off for a little while. [20:42] Hopefully, maybe forever, but possibly for a little while. [20:46] Of course, we've had very big discussions with Iran and we'll see what they amount to. [20:52] I was asked by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and some others if we could put it off for two or three days, a short period of time because they think that they are getting very close to making a deal. [21:03] And if we can do that where there's no nuclear weapon going into the hands of Iran, I think, and if they're satisfied, we will be probably satisfied also. [21:14] We've informed Israel. [21:16] We've informed other people in the Middle East that have been involved with us. [21:20] And, you know, it's a very positive development, but we'll see whether or not it amounts to anything. [21:25] We've had periods of time where we had, we thought, pretty much getting close to making a deal and it didn't work out. [21:32] But this is a little bit different. [21:33] Now, we're already going tomorrow very big and not something I wanted to do, but we have no choice because we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon. [21:43] The President has this new fund that was announced today, $1.7 billion. [21:52] Why should taxpayers pay for the January? [21:56] Well, it's been very well received, I have to tell you. [21:59] I know very little about it. [22:00] I wasn't involved in the whole creation of it and the negotiation. [22:05] But this is reimbursing people that were horribly treated, horribly treated. [22:10] It's anti-weaponization. [22:11] They've been weaponized. [22:13] They've been, in some cases, imprisoned wrongly. [22:16] They paid legal fees that they didn't have. [22:18] They've gone bankrupt. [22:19] Their lives have been destroyed. [22:21] And they turn out to be right. [22:22] I mean, it was a terrible period of time in the history of our country. [22:26] And they worked on it. [22:27] I know the Justice Department, it's really been working on it very hard. [22:32] There's been numerous other occasions over the years where things like this have been done. [22:35] But these were people that were weaponized and really treated brutally by a system that was so corrupt with corrupt people running it. [22:44] And they're getting reimbursed for their legal fees and the other things that they had to suffer. [22:48] Yeah, please. [22:49] Daniel, go ahead. [22:53] Hold it. [22:54] Hold it. [22:55] Daniel, please. [22:56] Thank you, Mr. President. [22:57] It's pretty remarkable seeing you and Mark Cuban up there. [22:59] And the fact that, obviously, Mark endorsed Kamala Harris back in 2021. [23:03] Well, he made a mistake. [23:04] It was a big mistake. [23:05] What does this say about what you two are building here? [23:09] Well, it says we love people. [23:11] We love our country. [23:12] He wants to — he's got a good company. [23:14] And he's going to do a lot of business with this. [23:16] And I'm going to get drugs out through Amazon, through the whole group. [23:20] And we're going to get drugs out. [23:22] And Mark wanted to be a part of it. [23:25] And I think Mark was very gracious. [23:26] He said, this is something that really works. [23:28] The first time you've seen it. [23:30] And he had to believe that if he said it about me. [23:33] You have to understand that. [23:35] But, look, I think I have a lot of respect for Mark Franklin. [23:38] I always have. [23:39] And then — [23:40] Go ahead. [23:41] Ebola. [23:46] Ebola. [23:47] You said Ebola. [23:48] Should Americans be concerned about Ebola? [23:50] I'm concerned about everything. [23:52] But certainly am. [23:53] I think that, you know, it's been confined right now to Africa. [23:57] And — but it's something that has had a breakout. [24:00] I could ask Bobby or Oz to say a couple of words about it, if you'd like. [24:04] You want to do that? [24:05] I think Heidi Overton is going to come up and give us a few words here. [24:11] Dr. Overton. [24:12] Thank you, Mr. President. [24:15] Thank you. [24:16] Thank you. [24:17] Today, the CDC held a press briefing that provided a lot of the answers and information. [24:20] But we have stood up a full interagency response. [24:23] The Department of State, the CDC, the Department of War — everyone is fully involved in tracking. [24:29] This — today, we do have an announce today at the press briefing. [24:33] There — there is an American that is symptomatic and has tested positive for — it's the Bundibuja virus, a strain of Ebola. [24:41] That American, as well as six other high-risk contacts, are going to be taken out of that region and taken to Germany. [24:50] We want to thank our — our German counterparts. [24:52] That is an internationally recognized location for viral hemorrhagic fever treatments. [24:58] So we're very grateful that they would take them. [25:00] It's a significantly shorter flight time for Americans to be — to receive treatment there in Germany. [25:05] For all other Americans, we have issued travel warnings. [25:08] We have — we have instituted just today entry restrictions for non-U.S. citizens that are — that have been in the region in the past 21 days. [25:20] So in Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan. [25:24] So very serious measures that have been taken. [25:27] We are working to communicate very frequently with everyone. [25:31] Your question was, should Americans be worried? [25:33] Right now, there are no cases of Ebola in America. [25:36] We want to keep it that way. [25:38] And we are doing everything we can to support Americans in the region. [25:41] Thank you, Mr. President. [25:42] President Trump, over here. [25:45] President Trump. [25:46] Go ahead, on Iran. [25:48] Yeah, Mr. President. [25:49] Follow up on Iran. [25:50] Other countries have done this before. [25:52] They have asked you to change course in order to dangle — they dangled a peace deal in front of you, saying one was coming. [25:59] Nothing has come into fruition. [26:01] You mentioned this — [26:02] Well, a lot's come into fruition. [26:03] We've — [26:04] We've taken a country that was going to have a nuclear weapon, and we've virtually destroyed its military. [26:10] They have no Navy. [26:11] They have no Air Force. [26:12] They've been — they've been virtually destroyed militarily. [26:15] That's a lot. [26:16] That's a big — we could leave right now. [26:18] It would take them 25 years to rebuild. [26:20] And the last thing they're thinking about, I think, is nuclear. [26:23] Now they have to put it down in writing. [26:25] But when you say nothing, we've — we've totally destroyed — excuse me, from CNN. [26:30] We've totally destroyed their military. [26:33] We've destroyed their leadership. [26:35] As you know, their leaders are gone. [26:37] Their leaders are gone at the first level. [26:39] The second level, we're dealing with half of the third level. [26:42] And I think we've made a lot of progress. [26:45] And it's very simple. [26:46] You know, we don't want to go through this. [26:48] We had the greatest economy ever. [26:49] We still do. [26:50] The stock market had a brand-new high a little while ago. [26:53] I never thought that was going to happen. [26:55] We had to make the excursion. [26:56] You know, we had 50,000 on the Dow. [26:58] We had 7,000 on the S&P. [27:00] And everyone said that couldn't be done within my four years. [27:03] It would be too big. [27:04] Well, we did it in my first year. [27:06] And then I called Scott and Howard. [27:08] I called them all into my office. [27:09] I said, we're going to take a little excursion down to the Middle East, [27:13] and we're going to confront Iran because they are desperate to have a nuclear weapon. [27:18] And the only reason they wanted is to use it. [27:20] And I said, I hate to do this because we're doing so well, [27:24] but this is the most important thing we can do. [27:27] We can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon. [27:29] So we did that. [27:30] And when we did that, we were met with a little force, [27:33] and we ended up destroying them. [27:35] We now have a tremendous—we built really a steel wall where no boats to blockade, [27:41] where no boats are able to—not one boat has been able to get through our blockade. [27:46] Look, our military is the greatest military anywhere in the world. [27:49] I just left China, and I will say President Xi was very, very complimentary of our military. [27:54] He was amazed, actually, at our military. [27:57] We have the greatest military in the world. [27:59] We're not going to let Iran have a nuclear weapon. [28:01] So I was called by these three countries plus others, [28:05] and they're dealing directly with our people and, right now, Iran, [28:09] and there seems to be a very good chance that they can work something out. [28:12] If we can do that without bombing the hell out of them, I'd be very happy. Please. [28:16] I have a question on weaponization. [28:19] Do you believe that people who committed violence against Capitol Hill police officers on January 6th [28:25] should be eligible for compensation from this DOJ fund? [28:29] And are you or your family members going to be seeking compensation from that fund? [28:33] It will all be dependent on a committee. [28:35] A committee is being set up of very talented people, very highly respected people. [28:40] I think it's a committee of five. And, again, I didn't do this deal. [28:43] It was told to me yesterday. They said they're doing something. [28:47] I do believe there has to be compensation for people that were destroyed. [28:51] You have families absolutely destroyed. [28:53] And it's all going to be determined by a committee of four or five people [28:56] that are respected and very brilliant at what they do. [29:00] Yeah, please. Go ahead. [29:02] One at a time, please. In the blue. Yeah. [29:05] Thank you, Mr. President. [29:07] In the blue. Yes. Go ahead, please. [29:09] Thank you, Mr. President. On election integrity. [29:11] So a lot of Republicans, including you, are speaking out against a massive Maryland ballot error in Maryland. [29:17] Yeah. Terrible. [29:19] How concerned are you about election integrity as Americans are heading into the midterms? [29:23] I'm very concerned about it. I'm very concerned about mail-in ballots. [29:26] We're the only country in the world that's doing mail-in ballots. [29:29] And a mail-in ballot is by just the nature of it. [29:32] It's going to be corrupt. So many people handle it. [29:34] You go into a well-run voting booth in a certain state, you know, we'll pick a state. [29:39] But you go into, and I mean, they look, even me, I went in Florida and went to vote, and they said, [29:44] Sir, I hate to do it. I'm so embarrassed. Could I see your identification? [29:48] I said, really? You really want to do that? Please, sir. I'll lose my job if I don't do it. [29:54] I was very proud to hand her identification and everything else. [29:58] I mean, you want to have proof of citizenship. You want to have a voter ID. You want to have all these things. [30:04] But to me, maybe the worst of all is the mail-in ballots where they come in. [30:08] So, as you know, in Maryland, 500,000 fake ballots were sent out. [30:15] When they were caught, they said, oh, we'll pull them back. [30:19] And they issued 500,000 new ballots. And as you know, they never got the original ballots back. [30:25] So there are a million ballots out there. Many of them went to Democrats, and it's a very serious thing. [30:30] And I'll tell you, I've looked at Maryland for a long time, and I know Maryland pretty well. [30:35] And I was told that it's automatically a Democrat state. [30:38] And I don't believe that, because I think I did really well there. [30:41] And I don't believe it. But they issued, as you just got caught recently, [30:45] 500,000 ballots, illegal ballots were sent out, and they were totally fraudulent. [30:50] And then they said, oh, we'll pull them back. Well, they didn't pull them back. [30:53] And they have 500,000 new ballots. So what happens to the original? [30:58] Are they going to come in? And are they going to come in and infect our system? [31:02] So it's a very, very serious thing that's happened. [31:05] And I've asked the law enforcement to look at it very, very strenuously. [31:10] I want to thank you all. This is so, we're so proud of it. [31:13] And I want to thank Bobby and Oz and Mark and all of the people that are here. [31:17] And Joe, great job. You are really something. I heard about you for a long time. [31:21] And now you're doing something that's more important than anything you've ever done. [31:25] And you've done some beauties. Thank you very much, Joe. [31:28] Thank you very much, everybody. Appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. [31:30] Thank you. Thank you.
