US President Donald Trump says Iran wants deal 'very badly'

[0:26] Iran will not have a nuclear weapon, [0:28] and we're gonna get the dust back. [0:30] We'll get it back either, [0:31] we'll get it back from them, or we'll take it. [0:33] Mr. President, as far as the naval blockade is concerned, [0:36] what's the end game? [0:37] Is it to force Iran back to the negotiating table? [0:40] Is it to open up the straits [0:42] so the gas prices ultimately come down? [0:44] Maybe everything, I mean, [0:45] both of those things, certainly, and more. [0:48] We can't let a country blackmail or extort the world, [0:54] because that's what they're doing. [0:55] They're really blackmailing the world. [0:57] We're not gonna let that happen. [0:59] And you know, the amazing thing is, [1:01] we don't, can you believe this? [1:03] We don't use the strait, we don't need the strait. [1:05] We have our own oil and gas, much more than we need. [1:08] We have more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia. [1:11] Think of this, we produce more. [1:13] Saudi Arabia and add Russia to it, substantially more. [1:17] And by next year, we'll have double that amount. [1:19] So we don't need it, but the world needs it. [1:23] And many ships are heading to our country right now, as we speak, [1:28] to load up with the best, really, I guess you could say, [1:32] somebody said, the best and sweetest. [1:33] I don't know exactly what sweet is, [1:35] but when it relates to oil, it's a good thing. [1:38] But they're coming to our country right now, [1:41] there are many boats coming to our country. [1:43] It would very well be this is gonna be settled before then. [1:46] We've been called this morning by the right people, [1:50] the appropriate people, and they wanna work a deal. [1:52] They would like to work a deal. [1:53] Is it your anticipation, Mr. President, [1:55] that other countries will assist in this effort [1:58] to blockade Iran in this state? [3:12] We've done a great job on crime. [3:13] So we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years, [3:17] since 1900, the lowest murder rate. [3:21] So we believe strongly in law and order, [3:24] and he seemed to have a problem with that, [3:27] so there's nothing to apologize for. [3:29] He's wrong. [3:31] The other thing is he didn't like [3:33] what we're doing with respect to Iran, [3:35] but Iran wants to be a nuclear nation, [3:39] so they can exterminate the world. [3:42] Not gonna happen. [3:43] And Mr. President, [3:44] the bottom line deal is not reached [3:47] by the end of the ceasefire. [3:48] Does your threat from before still stand?
