[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Well, something interesting is happening in Canada, and you're kind of seeing it playing out here in the United States as well. Conservatives, or so-called conservatives, maybe rhinos in the United States, are coming out in support of data centers. I sort of liken it to the same kind of crowd that was holding up the Epstein binders outside of the White House, these sort of MAGA influencers that are fully in the tank and perhaps even paid for by somebody to push a certain narrative. So why are conservatives, why is Fox News even pushing this idea that data centers are okay? And why is Canada trying to co-opt conservatives to also push this same narrative there? So a lot of focus on these data centers in the United States, but Canada is seeing a massive proliferation of data centers. God knows they have enormous, vast quantities of land. So what do the locals in Canada think about all of these data centers, and why are conservatives being asked to come out in support of it? Well, we wanted to ask today journalist David Creighton, who writes at Creighton's Rights News. He also has a great YouTube channel as well. You can follow him on X. And we want to invite David to come on to talk about all things Canada today and give us some updates on the tyranny that is Mark Carney's government there. David, great to see you. [00:01:22] David: Always nice to be back with you, Clayton. [00:01:25] Speaker 1: So can you walk us through, because maybe I'm drawing too many similarities here between what's happening in the U.S., but I couldn't help. I was at the gym the other day, and God knows I'd never put Fox News on my own television, but it just happened to be on the TV there. And it was a roundtable discussion about Bernie Sanders, who had come out saying we need to put a moratorium on these data centers. And I'm no Bernie supporter. I don't care. But I certainly don't want data centers in my backyard and using up water rights. But Fox News' position was, hey, this is okay. Like, if Bernie Sanders is against it, then clearly we must come out in support of it. And, you know, there are tradeoffs. In fact, one of the hosts of the show said there are tradeoffs in life, right? So tradeoffs, like, you don't need this land or water, but you're going to shove this AI down your throat and this data processing down your throat. So why do you think conservatives are being co-opted to push these data centers? [00:02:27] David: Well, Clayton, I'm no fan of Bernie Sanders either. But when I find myself agreeing with Bernie Sanders, I have to wonder why. And I think he's right about this, about data centers being toxic, data centers sucking up huge amounts of water, literally sucking up huge amounts of water, electricity, energy, destroying the environment, which is supposed to be something we should all be concerned about. Why is this happening in Canada? Well, I can tell you, it's quite simple. They've co-opted the small C conservative, to some extent, small L libertarian voter by saying, hey, Donald Trump supports this. And in Canada, what really hasn't happened is what's happened in the U.S. with the realization, the dawning realization that everything Donald Trump stands for isn't necessarily good. It's not necessarily good for your personal liberty. In Canada, hardcore conservatives still worship at the altar of Donald Trump. And if Donald Trump says data collection centers are good for you, then people will say, okay, Donald Trump says so, it must be so. And that's why we're getting these. Have to remember as well, Kevin O'Leary, who put that up, that monstrosity up in Utah, and is behind one of these data collection centers in Alberta, is on there saying, if you don't support data collection centers, you're not only against progress, you're in the pocket of China. So we've got conservative broadcasters out there. I call some of them bimbo broadcasters because all they say is, if you don't support these, you're in China's pocket and you're probably getting paid by China. And, you know, this whole thing kills me because I have been arguing. In fact, my station has a campaign against data collection centers. I think they're evil. I think their intent is evil. And I think what they do when they land in your backyard is evil. They displace people. They destroy agricultural land. They suck up the energy. But the point is that if we don't stop what's happening with data collection centers, they're going to proliferate. And you can't blame China because we're way ahead of China. What does this remind you of? The nuclear argument during the Cold War. Well, if we don't keep building more nuclear weapons, you know, the Soviet Union is going to be way ahead of us. So we've got to keep building them. China is so far behind in data collection centers that it's becoming obvious. And China actually has said, look, we've created so many of these things, we can't even use them. And that's in a surveillance state of over a billion people. So why are we continuing to displace farmers and rural people with these? Why are we continuing to suck up vast amounts of electricity? Well, I think because the powers that be, whether they're Republican or Democrat, whether they're liberal or conservative in Canada, almost like the fact that these data centers are gathering that information, which they can use against us. And it really comes down to the uniparty for me, Clayton. And when a conservative premier like Daniel Smith of Alberta says, they're good for you, just keep your criticisms yourself, they're good for you. And I'm saying, why? Why are you saying this? Obviously, it's because you've been convinced they're good. And Donald Trump is part of that, part of that reason. [00:05:44] Speaker 1: And so part of me has to wonder how many of these data centers being built in Canada have anything to do with Canada? Or do they have everything to do with American companies? Like, are you seeing that, you know, I mean, maybe Rogers or other like Canadian companies are building a huge swath of these data collection companies or the federal government or the Canadian government specifically? But I have to think because of, you know, the 200 new data centers that are just announced in Canada, like how many of those are American companies that are just thrilled to use that land and have access to that land? [00:06:21] David: Over 90% easily, maybe 95%. And it's interesting because Premier Doug Ford of Ontario, another so-called conservative, is all on the bandwagon now for data collection centers because they're going to create all these jobs, which is, of course, is another lie. They're not creating a lot of jobs. They're creating short-term jobs, maybe construction. And when they're built, the construction jobs are over. And the jobs that remain are essentially the equivalent of janitorial jobs. But Doug Ford is all behind him. And his rationale, well, I don't trust Donald Trump to build data collection centers because he's got the information. He's going to be sharing it. What he doesn't mention is that it's going to be U.S. tech companies that are building these data collection centers. And the information is going to go to U.S. tech companies. So what's the difference? I don't trust any of them to hold our information. [00:07:15] Speaker 1: What I'm stunned by, and you brought up like the libertarian piece of this, I mean, Alberta was, you know, supposed to be independent, obviously the freedom movement, the independence movement. But almost overwhelmingly, a huge swath of these new data center projects are targeted for Alberta. Like, what's going on there? It seems, I don't know, it seems counterintuitive. [00:07:45] David: Well, absolutely. And as I said, Premier Daniel Smith, easily the most conservative premier in Canada, easily the most conservative politician, perhaps, in Canada, who holds actually any level of power. Why is she so pro data collection center? And I think that goes back to, she's also very pro Donald Trump over the years. She's actually visited with Donald Trump, and she has been very, very supportive of Donald Trump, and Donald Trump has been very supportive of Alberta. So I think that might be the common denominator here. But it's interesting as well, is that the independent media in Canada has, to some small degree, and it's growing, has been held captive by this data collection center idea. And even like Rebel News, which receives not a cent from the federal government in subsidy, it's very much an independent media outlet. We've got its producer and its publisher out there covering data collection center protests and being very negative about the protesters, treating them like there's some sort of lunatic fringe. And yet, these are the people who actually watch independent media. And when I talk about data collection centers on my broadcast, the overwhelming response is positive, because these people don't trust them. They know what's going on here. They know this is a land grab. They know this is an information grab, a data grab, from people we can't trust. But why in Alberta? Because I think the mentality, Clayton, is if we can get in Alberta, if we can win the argument there, if we can win the hearts and minds of Albertans, we can do it anywhere in Canada, because it gets worse as soon as you leave Alberta. The malleability and the willingness of Canadians to be held captive by big government and big tech is all that much stronger. [00:09:36] Speaker 1: Rumble Wallet, what is it? Well, Rumble Wallet is a place for you to control your money, and no one else can control your money. And this is a paid advertisement for Rumble Wallet. They are sponsoring this portion of the show. If you actually want to control your money without having big banks involved in it, you can actually try it for free. And you can actually, when you start today, you get $10 in U.S. Stablecoin just put right in your account. So they're going to give you $10 just for opening the account. What's amazing about Rumble Wallet is that you can invest in anything you want. More of your money lands where you want it. It's very easy. And, of course, they're working with MoonPay, so it all is tied together. And you can invest in crypto. You can pay people, and no one can tell you what to do with your money. In fact, you know, with so many creators we've worked with over the years that have been debanked, so many independent journalists who've done incredible work have been debanked because, whether it was PayPal or somebody else just like, nope, we're not going to allow you to have access to your money. And the beauty of this is that no one controls it. You get to control it. Not even Rumble has access to this. So go to wallet.rumble.com today slash redacted. Try it right now and get $10. And use that code REDACTED10 to get $10 in USAT right in your account. It's so easy to set it up. Just check it out right now at wallet.rumble.com. Well, I mean, in many of these, if we look just, I'm looking a random number of these facilities, from e-structures to Cologix to Vantage data centers, digital realty, all of it massively expanding their footprint in these data centers across Canada. I mean, 46 megawatts of power in certain instances. Like, where is this power going to come from? So in the US, of course, what's happening is you've got Amazon, you've got Meta, you've got Google. They're building these data centers. In fact, they're revitalizing even old coal-powered plants that are nearby and converting them to natural gas and things like that. But the people who live near these plants aren't going to see any of that energy. And in fact, the opposite. They've already seen their energy bills increase 15%, 16%, 18% because of these futures contracts about where energy prices are going to go. So you're already seeing energy prices going up on the future promise of what's going to come to their town. And when Meta builds one of these facilities and they build, or they co-opt a coal plant and then they convert it to natural gas, none of that power is going to go to the local citizens. It will all be kept internal for these data centers. And same thing with Three Mile Island out east in the United States. So nuclear power being converted. It won't be used to benefit the locals there. So first, I want to kind of tackle the energy piece of this. Like, how is Canada's electrical grid? Like, the United States' electrical grid is garbage. We can't handle it. And many, many municipalities are saying, we will have blackouts. Like, we know, based on the amount of energy usage, we will have blackouts because of these data centers. Like, okay, so the citizens have to suffer because you want to build, they're getting all the tax benefits of having these companies come in there. So again, what is the Canadian power situation look like? And maybe near these plants. [00:13:13] David: Absolutely no different than the American scenario. And these promises to build their own electrical plants, I really, really have some doubts about that. That they're not going to have to live off the other grid. I predict, in all seriousness, these data collection centers are going to blow the grid to hell. And that's exactly, I think, in many cases, why people are saying there can be no coexistence here. And yet, I recently read a very notable Canadian journalist suggests that data collection centers are going to consume about the equivalent amount of water as a golf course. Well, no golf course that I've ever planned is consuming the amount of water. The evidence is overwhelming, Clayton. And I've looked at it from all sides, left and right, in terms of the people saying these things are really going to be bad news in terms of creating burnouts, blackouts, energy depression across the country. And yes, they are as bad as we are claiming them to be in terms of taking energy, literally soaking up the water in the area and giving nothing back. And you think people are going to say, well, I can live with that because these facilities are doing such a great work. No, their work is extremely toxic. They gather information and they share that information with authorities. So where do I see this in Canada, Clayton? People are going to be suffering. Yeah. But in Canada, the only thing our government, our corrupt, carny, liberal government has delivered, just, and we'll talk about the trade deal in a minute. He totally screwed on the trade deal. No better deal coming from Mark Carney. But he's delivered on censorship and surveillance. We have become a so-called democratic state without free speech because of Mark Carney. And we're going to be a great surveillance state because of legislation Mark Carney is shepherding through the House of Commons. And because we're going to be the home of the data collection center. This is going to be the home of it here in Canada. And they're going to be working in partnership with the Carney government, gathering information on Canadians and storing that information and sharing that information. That's the overall plan here. [00:15:40] Speaker 1: I mean, where is the independent media in Canada? We already know the massive censorship, of course, that the government has put in place to silence independent media voices. But you pointed out like Rebel News. Rebel News, of course, hugely supportive of Israel, supportive of, you know, it's very easy to find that information. I'm not speaking out of turn, but very supportive of Israel, supportive of the war against Palestinians, speaking out even their reporters covering anti-genocide protests. So it's surprising like Rebel News is out, like supports data centers and they're criticizing the people that are supporting, that don't want these data centers in their backyard. Like, I guess that's not surprising at all. It kind of reminds me of like maybe how the Daily Wire would position itself. I haven't seen reporting from the Daily Wire yet, but I bet that Ben Shapiro is probably in favor of data centers. I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe I'm wrong. But anyway, where's the independent media on this speaking out against this? Are they just being silenced? [00:16:44] David: Largely being silenced by other independent media. I refuse to be silenced by broadcasters who say I'm in the pay of China if I oppose data collection centers. I can assure you I'm not. I'm not. [00:16:57] Speaker 1: Well, how would you be in the pay of China if you oppose data collection centers? Like what? [00:17:02] David: Well, because Kevin O'Leary, you know, who I said is behind this monstrosity in Utah that nobody wants built. And he's behind one of these data collection centers in Alberta that they're growing opposition to. Kevin O'Leary has put it out there that if you're opposed to these things, you are working for China. That's right. You are in China's pocket. [00:17:23] Speaker 1: Yeah, he was on Tucker's show and he was pushing this idea that, like, the online acrimony was coming from China. And then, of course, the local group in Utah came out and said, no, we have no funding at all from China. We live here in Utah and we don't want this in our backyard. So this is a very interesting. And then this is the kind of thing they'll run with on Fox News. Oh, it's anti-China, all of this. So I can see how this narrative plays out. It's very interesting. [00:17:51] David: Yeah, as I said, you're being attacked for opposing data collection centers by independent media. And I would love to sit down and chat with Rebel News people about this, many of whom I've known for many, many years. I'm disappointed in their malleability. What I see is malleability in this issue. Very disappointed. And I'm disappointed in a lot of independent broadcasters who are just immediately pointing the finger to this China relationship that is nonexistent. Totally nonexistent. [00:18:20] Speaker 1: Well, it's weird to me, like Rebel News, they'll go to Davos, right, and call out the globalists, you know, against COVID and pushing mRNA vaccines, trying to confront Albert Borla of Pfizer. Some great, you know, great things, right? Trying to get some answers about the COVID, you know, the calling of the world's population. But, like, on this issue, like mass surveillance state, they're totally okay with it. And, by the way, in the Israeli mass surveillance state, they're totally okay with. So, I don't know. It just seems out of whack, but maybe not. [00:19:02] David: Well, I was introduced to a new term last night. I was watching a broadcaster talk about Trump devotion syndrome instead of Trump derangement syndrome. And that's exactly what it is in Canada, because the hardcore conservatives still see Donald Trump as the savior of the conservative movement in Canada. And when I criticize Donald Trump for the war in Iran, when I criticize Donald Trump for the surveillance state, for putting all these flock cameras across the United States, people don't like it. Because, hey, don't say anything bad about Donald Trump, because he's our guy. And, unfortunately, there is that Trump devotion syndrome with a lot of Canadian conservatives. Whatever Donald Trump does or says has got to be the right thing. He is our guy in the White House. And it's like listening to people on Fox News. Fox News is incapable of criticizing anything Donald Trump says or does, because everything he says is brilliant, everything he does is right on, and he's always doing the right thing. [00:20:01] Speaker 1: I just want to know where the money comes from, because all of these sort of like MAGA influencers, they all parrot the exact same talking point. There's a couple of lists flowing around on X right now of these like MAGA influencers who make clearly they're on the payroll of somebody, because they're all receiving like federal talking points, and they're all retweeting or posting out the exact same wording on tweets, supporting the president. And, you know, it's almost laughable, but, you know, at least we're aware that it's happening. And it's so troubling, too, to have this like devotion and love of a human being, like one man is going to save you from what? I don't exactly know. So this trade deal, of course, major headlines over the past week or so. Maybe you can walk our audience through what exactly Trump was trying to put in place here. What was the goal on the U.S. side? What was the goal on the Canadian side? And where do we stand right now? [00:21:03] David: Although I can be very critical of Donald Trump, I'm not being critical of this trade deal. I don't think this had anything to do with some nefarious plan Donald Trump had for Canada. I think there's a credibility gap. We all remember that. Well, most of us remember that being said of Lyndon Johnson during the Vietnam War. He was repeating the lies the U.S. military gave him about body counts. The U.S. is winning the war. And the media finally said, you know, there's a credibility gap here, Mr. Johnson, between you and the truth. And that's what we have with Mark Carney. We have mountains of mendacity, is what I call a proliferation of prevarication. Not wanting to sound too much like former Vice President Spiro Agnew when I say that. But the mainstream media isn't getting it, though. Mark Carney has been lying about some very significant events. He lied about the Gordie Howe Bridge, for instance. Immediately, he's going to bring money in for Canada. This is the bridge from Windsor to Detroit. Total lie. Total lie. He knew it. Everybody now knows it. He lied about the condo developers in Vancouver influencing him for a massive condo bailout. Found out in that lie. And now, of course, he's lying about why this trade deal failed. He's saying, oh, Donald Trump wanted to attack Quebec culture. He wanted to erode official bilingualism in Canada. Absolutely a lie. Nothing, nothing in this trade deal about eroding bilingualism in Canada or attacking Quebec culture. It all had to do with a couple of things. There are three major issues here. And Carney's to blame for the failure of this trade deal. He's lying about the reasons. It's about China wanting Mark Carney to be his agent. And Mark Carney is subservient to China. He wants a new world order with China. He has said over the years that China should be the economic engine of the world. The Chinese currency should replace the U.S. dollar. And China is where the future is. That doesn't sit well with Donald Trump or most Americans, obviously. And Mark Carney's also a huge fan of our supply management system in Canada, especially the dairy cartel, which keeps the price of cheese and milk artificially high and prevents U.S. dairy farmers from trading with Canada. I think Donald Trump has rightfully declared that to be unfair over the years. Mark Carney drew a line in the sand over that, said he's loyal to that dairy cartel. What else? Trans shipment. I don't know if you've heard of this. There was a paper released this month in the White House on the trans shipment scam. And this is how China uses conduits like China and Mexico and other countries to smuggle steel into the United States. Canada is listed as the worst offender, tier one, the worst offender of this. Mark Carney won't even acknowledge it, even though there was a Canadian firm recently fined $19 million by the Justice Department in the United States for contravening, smuggling rules, smuggling Chinese steel. And what else did Mark Carney do after promising to reinvigorate the Keystone XL pipeline? This is the pipeline, of course, that former President Joe Biden canceled on his first day as president after his inauguration. Donald Trump has really wanted to get the Keystone XL up on his feet again and running and built. Mark Carney promised to do that when the two of them last met in Washington. And Mark Carney was almost literally on his knees, worshipping Donald Trump as his transformational president. Carney pulled the rug from under Trump during the 11th hour saying, no more Keystone XL. We're not going to agree to that. So do I think Mark Carney wanted this trade deal to fail? Do I think he set it up to fail? Absolutely. And you say, why? Why would Mark Carney want to hurt Canadians like this? Because he wants to run another election on the elbows up. Evil Donald Trump. Evil American empire. Vote for Mark Carney because I'm going to oppose him and protect Canadian interests. And he did this intentionally. There's no question in my mind. And he's lying through his teeth about it right now. And the mainstream media refuses to even acknowledge that, even though the facts are in their face. We've got the details of the trade agreement from the New York Times is reporting it. We know that the Trump administration was agreeing to drastically reduce tariffs on aluminum, steel, and softwood lumber. And these are always the points of contention with Canadian U.S. trade. And this was revealed to the New York Times of all things. Mark Carney will not reveal the details of this trade agreement. He will not reconvene Parliament to discuss it. So where is Mark Carney going in a couple of days? He's going to address the European Parliament, which is in session. Oh, he loves Europe, yeah. Yeah, he loves Europe, but he won't talk to Canadians about why he rejected this trade deal. [00:26:18] Speaker 1: Americans love sushi. And over the last two decades, raw fish consumption has exploded in the U.S. Sushi bars are everywhere. Grocery stores, gas stations are selling sushi. And millions of people now eat raw fish weekly. But here's a hidden risk that most people never think about. Parasites. Yes, salmon is one of the most popular fish worldwide, but it naturally contains more than 70 parasites. Many are tiny, nearly impossible to see. They're making their way into the human body. And once again, parasites can hide for years. They frequently lay eggs in the body before any symptoms appear at all. That's why many physicians are raising awareness about parasite exposure. Our friend of the show, Dr. Peter McCullough, recommends doing a parasite cleanse at least once a year as a preventative measure. I just did this like three weeks ago. Went through this entire cleanse. The wellness company offers a hard-to-access RX parasite cleanse. It's a USA-compounded ivermectin and menbenzadol. Ivermectin basically paralyzes the parasite's nervous system. And then menbenzadol starves them, flushing it out of your body. Each capsule contains 25 milligrams of ivermectin and 250 milligrams of menbenzadol. It's lab-tested for quality. Like I said, I just did this about three weeks ago. I did a 14-day cleanse and it ended. I feel great. So you can now get a more budget-friendly version. 45-capsule option that costs $250 less, giving you two 21-day parasite cleanse cycles. So you can do multiple cycles of this, not just one in a bottle. Same formula as the original, just a smaller quantity. So head over right now to twc.health slash redacted and use the code redacted to save $35 off plus free shipping. Again, twc.health slash redacted. And this is for USA residents only. So there's no talks going on right now. It's collapsed from what I can, you know, from all reporting. So September 8th, he vows to put in place reciprocal tariffs. But we still don't know exactly what that'll look like in full. Is that just bluster? Is he just, is he trying to be the tough guy here? [00:28:31] David: Oh, no, no. This is what's interesting about this too, Clayton, is that within literally 24 hours of announcing these reciprocal tariffs, which, by the way, are going to hurt Canadians more than Americans, because if they affect items at the grocery store, we're going to see like $150 bag of groceries go up to $225 because of counter tariffs that are going to hurt Canadians. But if, why did Mark Carney have a bailout deal for Canadians ready within 24 hours? He announced $7.5 billion in new spending to assist Canadians with these tariffs. Now, it took months for Justin Trudeau to get so-called COVID relief during the pandemic, which was, you know, basically COVID welfare. So how come we're getting tariff welfare within 24 hours unless Mark Carney had this all planned from the beginning? He knew what he was doing. He wanted to tank this trade deal. He had his own reasons, and I think a lot of them are not just political but economic, because he really does have his eyes on Europe, not the North American relationship, which is normal. We're geographically attached to the United States, our greatest military ally, our biggest trading partner. No, Mark Carney wants to focus on China, and he wants to focus on Europe. That's where the new world order is for Mark Carney. So clearly there was a plan here. He had $7.5 billion in relief all ready to go as soon as he announced his counter tariffs. Yeah, he'll do it. He will go through with these counter tariffs because this is part of his, the elbows up, I hate the United States attitude, which won him the last election federally. I mean, watch and wait, I'm predicting he's going to have another snap election, although he's years away from having to have one. I think he wants a bigger majority, and God help Canada if he gets it. [00:30:28] Speaker 1: How is the Canadian economy right now? How are just average Canadians dealing with this government? [00:30:35] David: We are, in terms of economic growth, the last in not only the G7, but developed nations in the world. We are dead last. That information just came out yesterday. We are dead last in about everything. Even though the Carney government insists we're creating jobs all over the building. The Carney government has not delivered on any of its building projects. The price, the cost of living in this country is hard to imagine. It's bad enough in the United States. I talked to American friends. They tell me how bad it is. Well, you know, Pierre Paulyev goes out shopping yesterday, gets a little bag of groceries for $150. That's that same bag of groceries that's going to go up to $225 if these counter tariffs go through. Mortgages, through the roof. Rent continues to go through, $2,000 a month on average in any Canadian city. It's beyond the possibility of young Canadians to adapt, to deal with this kind of cost of living. We've got tent cities continuing to sprout up across Canada. We've got people going to food banks all over this country, from coast to coast. Taxation has never been more arduous or never worse. People are literally paying last year's taxes until they have to start paying this year's taxes. That's how bad things are in this country. We are overtaxed, overburdened by government regulations, by government surveillance, by government censorship. This is a country that is on the brink of catastrophe. And not really an issue we have to discuss today, but Alberta independence, you wonder why Alberta wants to be free from this country? You wonder why there's such support for that in Alberta? Because they're paying the bills with so-called equalization payments in Ontario and Quebec. They're paying the bills and Albertans are sick and tired of living in a country under Mark Carney's tyranny. [00:32:34] Speaker 1: Before I let you go, David, you know, it's a story we've been following here and with your great help over the past couple of years, really, which is the tyranny of the federal government there in Canada going after farmers. But most recently within the past year, of course, the ostrich farm and what the horrible calling of those ostriches where the government came in and basically slaughtered all of them. After that happened, obviously, the farm and Katie and the owners were trying to get some sort of restitution back from the government. Hey, you killed all of our animals. Clearly, you need to pay for that. And legal fee, all of that. So where do things stand now with the ostrich farm and the government going after other farmers? [00:33:24] David: Well, the government continues to go after other farmers. This is a war on agriculture, but it's been symbolized, I think, to a large degree by Universal Ostrich Farms and what happened to Katie Pisidne and her mom, Karen Esprison. And I remain in contact with them on this. And I was just informed that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is, as you quite rightly describe as the terrorist food inspection agency in Canada, has refused to compensate the farm for one red cent. And they are supposed to, after they do their so-called culling, they're supposed to be compensating based on the price of each bird or animal that is slaughtered, that is killed. And in the case of Universal Ostrich Farms, that the bill should have come to well over $900,000, perhaps even a million in compensation. The CFIA is refusing to compensate even one cent in that, saying the farm wasn't very cooperative. Meaning what? That they took them to court? That they actually talked to the media about what's going on? They talked about the animal cruelty going on when the CFIA occupied their farm? They talked about what was going on when the CFIA illegally cleaned up the mess they had left, put dead ostriches in trucks with the remains, literally falling off the truck with the liquid coming through those trucks, not knowing where those ostriches were even buried. A mountain of lies surrounding that shutdown of an operation that was cruel and devastating. And they're not even getting a cent in compensation after all that. And here's another element that most people don't even realize. That farm, nine months after this massacre, is still under quarantine by the CFIA. In other words, they can't use that land for anything. And they can't even clean it up. And people have said, look, we'd love to come down. We were supporters during this crisis. We were with you when the CFIA was damaging your property, was killing your animals, exercising degrees of cruelty that were just astronomical. We'd like to come back and help you clean up. CFI has said, don't even dare think about cleaning up. You're still under quarantine. And anybody who comes to your farm to try to help you clean up, we're going to put them on a list and we're going to charge them and fine them for their trouble. That's how vindictive the Mark Carney government is. Against the farm that dared to speak up against government overreach, that dared to speak up against the war on agriculture, that dared to say, no, not on my property, you won't. But they did it anyway. They got away with it. And there are still mainstream media people out there who refuse to acknowledge that those birds were healthy. Those birds were not even sick. And the CFIA refused to test them. The CFIA refused to acknowledge the truth. And they went through with a brutal and completely unnecessary massacre that continues to resonate to this day and continues to punish a family farm, just as CFIA is intent upon punishing family farms across Canada. [00:36:51] Speaker 1: So horrible. Well, our thoughts are with Katie and obviously Universal Ostrich Farm and all the people that were still dealing with this fallout from this terrorist group in the Canadian government. David Creighton, always great to see you. Thank you so much for this Canada update. Our Canada update brought to you today by David Creighton. You know, we kind of check in and see, hey, has Canada gotten more sane or has it improved much? We didn't even go down the maid rabbit hole. We've been covering that here on the show. [00:37:23] David: Yes, very well. No, Canada's got more insane, Clayton. It's got more insane and we have lost our free speech. I want to emphasize that as well. With Bill C-9, the Combating Hate Act, we have lost our free speech in Canada. I'm not kidding. And I had a cop at my door within days of that bill being passed asking me about a broadcast I had done a year and a half before. Wow. And I couldn't believe it. I was literally on my broadcast warning people, the cops could come to your door now, just like they did in the UK because of Bill C-9 being passed. And literally, there was a cop outside of my house, in front of my house, at the door while I was saying that on my broadcast. Incredible but true. [00:38:13] Speaker 1: So awful. Tyrannical, to say the least. David, great to see you. Thank you so much. [00:38:21] David: Always a pleasure to be with you, my friend. [00:38:24] Speaker 1: Thank you so much for watching Redacted.
