[0:00] many congratulations on your appointment what excites you about taking charge of chelsea well [0:06] first of all good afternoon everyone thank you for congratulations and and excitement is the club [0:17] the squad the chance to the opportunity and the honor to to come to join this this great club and [0:24] to create the excitement this bond with a with the supporters and to win games and to to be [0:32] successful how ready do you feel to manage this club the size of chelsea given the previous [0:38] experiences you've had as a manager and as a player i want to enjoy it i want to be part of this this [0:45] club work together with with the sports directors with the players with the staff around i see that [0:54] it's a club with with a great potential we need for sure to make important decisions right decisions [1:02] but i think that there is a very strong base already built and now we need to follow up to [1:08] to keep building and building this mentality to to be competitive on the on the pitch to win games and [1:14] to to enjoy it you've got a long contract but what do you want to achieve in your first season [1:20] in charge to chelsea need to be playing european football next season well for sure that's that's a [1:26] goal but to reach that goal you need to do many right things and to to be part of that process how [1:34] to how we want to play how we want to to see ourselves how we want to approach the game wherever [1:41] we go that's that's my job that's what i'm really looking forward to to have the whole squad at the [1:47] moment we have some bits but early days and happy early days so far but for sure we want we want to [1:54] be there and and time will tell but we are ambitious and to be in chelsea you need to share those uh that now it is a challenge to come here it is a challenge to in my managerial career but but really [6:37] excited about accepting it getting uh improving and learning to to get there and the history of [6:47] chelsea is there not just because of the success because of so many great players that they have [6:52] played so many great managers that they have been here some of them i see some pictures those and and you can notice his uh his quality uh how how [7:45] he's able to play uh the right decision in the right spot so i'm i'm happy that he has come in a in a good [7:52] mood in a good good mindset to to have a great season and and we are really looking forward to to get the best [8:01] from him if we we are able to build a strong team uh with the proper stability to find the the key
