[0:00] Pennsylvania, and particularly in northeastern Pennsylvania, the history of this state, the [0:05] anthracite coal nearby, the Titusville, the first well that started the global oil and [0:11] gas industry, and today the Marcellus Shale, the greatest shale gas on the planet, are [0:17] all in this great state of Pennsylvania. [0:19] Even better is the people and the culture of Pennsylvania. [0:30] You built the industrial revolution of our country, built our industrial strength, helped [0:37] us win two world wars, and become the economic powerhouse of the world. [0:41] Pennsylvania has a tremendous history, and I believe deserves and should have an even [0:48] more prosperous and opportunity-rich future. [0:51] That should be the future of Pennsylvania. [0:53] President Biden, unfortunately, launched a four-year all-out war. [1:08] Four years of all of government war that did one thing, that drove up the price of [1:24] energy, drove the largest inflation in a four-year period in my lifetime, made life less affordable [1:31] for Americans, drove jobs overseas, and weakened our nation. [1:36] Thankfully, the great state of Pennsylvania and America have been able to do the same. [1:39] The Americans all across the country elected President Trump to put an end to this destructive [1:44] nonsense. [1:54] President Trump's views on energy are very simple. [1:57] More is better. [1:59] Americans better than foreign. [2:00] Lower prices are better than higher prices. [2:03] More jobs, more opportunity, more rising in wages. [2:07] Those are better, not bad things. [2:08] Those are what we're all about. [2:11] Seven days a week. [2:13] Seven days a week. [2:15] President Trump works. [2:17] That's his agenda. [2:18] So what does he do? [2:19] He's got to reverse everything done by President Biden. [2:23] But President Biden canceled an oil pipeline connecting the U.S. and Canada that was under [2:28] construction. [2:29] President Trump fights every day so we can build more pipelines. [2:32] So we're going to take Pennsylvania gas to New England, drive their energy prices down [2:37] and bring opportunity to get more Pennsylvania gas exported to our allies abroad. [2:43] And most importantly, to bring jobs, industry, and economic opportunity. [2:47] We're going to have to choose our own way. [2:48] We've got to have economic opportunity here in Pennsylvania. [2:49] We're going to have a global economy. [2:50] We're going to have a global solar cycle. [2:51] We're going to have a global energy market. [3:00] We're going to have a global economic opportunity right here in Pennsylvania. [3:01] Right here in Pennsylvania. [3:02] Just over a week ago President Trump signed the Genesis Mission. [3:06] This is a major initiative for the United States to lead and AI to maintain our global [3:12] superiority, military technology, economic. [3:16] AI is going to be transformative for our country, and we cannot be second behind China, a Biden [3:23] administration or a Harris administration. [3:24] Which is what we need. [3:25] I think we need that. [3:26] guarantee we could not lead an AI because we'd be short of energy. We'd have inflation problems [3:32] racking our country. We'd have blackouts across the country today. President Trump has stopped [3:38] the closure of coal plants. The anthracite coal from this region launched America to the country [3:53] we are today. Think about that. And the Biden administration did everything they could to crush [3:58] coal-generated electricity, coal mining, coal exports to the world, coal opportunity, total [4:05] and destructive nonsense. Under President Trump, we have record high oil production, [4:12] record high natural gas production. Soon we will start to see downward pressure on electricity [4:18] prices. And let me end, I must, yes, I take that as a sign that everyone prefers lower electricity [4:32] prices over higher electricity prices. [4:40] It has electoral implications. If you look across the states, and as a data nerd, I do that, [4:45] electricity prices in Democrat-controlled states are 75% higher than they are in Republican-led [4:53] states. If you want low electricity prices, what you want is the ability to build infrastructure, [5:00] to build new power plants and keep the ones you have open. And you want to build demand growth. [5:05] You want new factories in your state. You want businesses to expand. [5:10] And you want to build data centers. I know they're controversial, but if you look at the states that [5:16] have growing demand for electricity, they have flat or declining electricity prices. You look [5:23] at California, New York State, Massachusetts, they actually produce less electricity today [5:29] than they did five years ago, and they have skyrocketing electricity prices. You get economic [5:35] growth going in Pennsylvania. People build factories, expand things, build data centers, [5:40] that is a road not only for jobs and tax revenue and economic opportunity, it is the road to lower [5:47] electricity prices. Biden's immigration free-for-all was among the greatest abuses of power ever imposed [7:48] on the American people. By allowing 10 to 20 million illegal aliens into the country against [7:59] the will of voters, the last administration stole both jobs and homes from American families. Home [8:07] prices and rents soared as millions of illegal aliens who were never supposed to be here in the [8:14] first place competed for housing and wages cratered from the glut of new labor supply. Biden's open [8:23] borders effectively created a black market in labor that kept wages for working Americans [8:30] artificially suppressed. Thousands of our own citizens suddenly found themselves out of work [8:37] or working a job that barely paid the rent. At the same time, they saw their rent costs climbing [8:43] higher. Why? Because they [8:46] now had to compete for a limited number of homes against a seemingly unlimited number of illegals. [8:55] Donald Trump stood above the endless stream of illegal immigration yelling, stop, stop. And this [9:09] is why Pennsylvania and Americans voted for him in a landslide. President Trump promised to secure [9:18] the border and return American jobs and homes to American citizens through the largest deportation [9:25] effort of the century. He has delivered on that promise in every day, every way. Common sense, [9:34] common sense. Simply closing the border, our president is bringing an end to illegal wage [9:41] suppression to put American workers first. And his policies are already bearing fruit. Real wages [9:56] across the country are up 1% on the year, the first time in four years. We are witnessing a blue [10:04] collar boom [10:05] with real wages for blue collar workers under President Trump increasing at one of the fastest [10:11] rates in the last half century, almost in line with his first term. Thanks to the president's [10:26] efforts to clean up illegal immigration, he is fixing high home costs as well. Rents have come [10:32] down significantly. Consider that the average national price of rent has decreased 5% since the [10:40] peak of Biden's immigration insanity. [10:43] We expect average home prices to follow suit as deportations unlock more housing [10:55] supply. The second eye that made life unbearable for American families under Biden was interest [11:02] rates — which climbed at an unprecedented rate while he was in office. But President Trump is [11:08] fixing that too. High interest rates make life more expensive for American families, but they [11:15] are coming down under President Trump. The bond market had its best year — best year — since [11:21] 2020 and if i have anything to say about it as your nation's top bond salesman bonds will have [11:28] another strong year in 2026 as we fight to bring treasury borrowing costs down lower treasury [11:43] borrowing costs mean lower mortgage rates lower car payments and lower credit card bills which [11:49] all translates to greater buying power for all americans the third eye that drove the cost of [12:01] living crisis under biden was inflation the previous administration ran up the highest [12:07] deficit in u.s history outside of a recession or wartime as a result inflation skyrocketed to [12:16] a 40-year high as secretary wright the highest in his lifetime in my lifetime families watched [12:24] our hard-earned savings melt away as prices of consumer goods climbed ever higher as with [12:31] immigration the bide [12:33] administration stole from the american people through inflation consider that 42 42 of inflation [12:42] under biden was triggered by his administration's runaway deficit spending inflation is the ultimate [12:50] stealth tax it's the government's way of spending money it doesn't have and devaluing yours biden [12:59] ran up america's credit card and left all of us here to foot the bill in the form of higher prices [13:05] and groceries gasoline clothes and other goods we depend on this is just one more reason [13:14] voters like you elected president trump president trump is stamping out by inflation for good [13:23] and we fully expect fully expected to roll down next year prices went up under biden because his [13:30] central central [13:31] planning policies created scarcity. Scarcity in nearly every sector of the economy, from housing [13:38] and energy to credit and consumer goods. This made inflation even worse than it would have been as a [13:45] result of deficit spending alone. But where Biden created scarcity, President Trump is creating [13:51] abundance. Thanks to President Trump's efforts on deregulation, America's businesses are able to [13:58] build and innovate again. Thanks to his one big beautiful bill, Americans are taking home more [14:06] of their hard-earned income as a result of no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on social [14:12] security, and deductibility of auto loans for American-made cars. American-made cars. And thanks [14:25] to his heroic efforts on trade, trillions of dollars in new investment have flowed into the [14:31] United States. [14:32] Our workers are finally able to compete on an even playing field. These policies, in combination, [14:45] are driving a boost in production that will lower the prices of goods for all Americans in 2026, [14:51] while also creating jobs and increasing incomes. This is the formula for prosperity. Lowering [14:58] prices, raising incomes. And every component of the Trump economic agenda is in pursuit of these [15:12] twin goals. [15:14] Under President Trump, scarcity is giving way to prosperity. The benefits of his agenda are now [15:22] rippling through the economy, and those ripples will become waves as his agenda gathers force in [15:29] 2026. [1:45:54] And now, after just 10 months in office, I'm pleased to report that America is [1:45:59] winning again, Pennsylvania is prospering again. [1:46:02] And I will not rest until this commonwealth is wealthier and stronger than ever before. [1:46:14] Remember when Biden got up and called you a state? [1:46:16] That was not good. [1:46:37] We've created nearly sixty thousand new [1:46:40] Pennsylvania jobs, including four thousand Pennsylvania manufacturing jobs that [1:46:45] the Democrats gave up on you're doing better than you've ever done under our [1:46:51] leadership, more than forty thousand Pennsylvanians have been lifted off of [1:46:54] food stamps, forty thousand and working with a great guy. [1:47:01] Remember David McCormack? [1:47:03] He used to go to every every rally I had. [1:47:10] He knew what was happening and he's here again as usual. [1:47:13] I can't get rid of this guy. Where is he? [1:47:18] He got a little lucky, though, you know, in Butler, a place called Butler, [1:47:21] Pennsylvania, I love Butler, Pennsylvania, but it's amazing. [1:47:24] And we had a tremendous crowd, like fifty five, sixty thousand people. [1:47:29] And I called David. [1:47:30] I said, David, come on up. [1:47:32] He was working like hell to get like it was a tough race. [1:47:35] And very few people could have done what he did. [1:47:38] But I said right at the beginning of the speech, I said, David, come on up. [1:47:42] Come on up. I want to. [1:47:43] This was before the thing happened. [1:48:36] We were up here. [1:48:37] A few months ago, some of the greatest energy companies in the world made that. [1:48:42] We were doing it on a beautiful day, a little warmer than it is outside today, [1:48:47] David, but over one hundred billion dollars. [1:48:52] And we've saved a great American company. [1:48:54] You know, we saved this little group of people and we saved a little company [1:49:00] called U.S. Steel, and it's hot as a pistol now. [1:49:07] And we have the keys to the company. [1:49:09] It's always going to be here. It's never moving. [1:49:11] They said, what happens? [1:49:12] It moves to Japan. [1:49:13] I said, you can't move a steel mill to Japan. [1:49:16] You can move a headquarters, but the steel mill stays here. [1:49:19] That's all that matters. [1:49:20] And I will tell you, the company is spending billions and billions of dollars. [1:49:25] And there was no second by comparison. [1:49:27] Other companies were interested, but and they really are. [1:49:30] They call me all the time, tell me they're really excited about it. [1:49:34] And, you know, they're building a lot of additional plants. [1:49:38] It's turning out to be beyond what anyone thought possible. [1:49:41] But we had to save U.S. steel. [1:49:43] U.S. Steel was one of the greatest companies, which really for a long period [1:49:47] of time, years ago, the greatest company anywhere in the world. [1:49:50] U.S. Steel was you see it with the big factories that were I mean, two years ago. [1:49:55] Now it's starting to fill up. [1:49:56] The tariffs have filled it up because people are coming here. [1:50:00] Other steel companies are coming to Pennsylvania now because they don't want [1:50:04] to spend 100 percent, 50 percent, 25 percent of tariffs are all coming in. [1:50:10] It's amazing. You know, they the word. [1:50:13] Remember when I said tariff, my favorite word is tariff. [1:50:18] True. But then I got a lot of heat from the fake news. [1:50:21] Look at all of them back there. [1:50:26] I took a lot of heat. [1:50:28] I got up early on. [1:50:30] I said my favorite is turning out. [1:50:31] You know, tariffs are bringing us hundreds of billions of dollars. [1:50:36] I just helped our farmers out because they're starting to do really well. [1:50:40] But in order to try and negotiate, some countries played a little cute and we [1:50:47] just gave them. [1:50:48] Right out of a tariff money. [1:50:50] Of course, there's nothing right out of the billion hundreds of billions that we've [1:50:54] taken in. We gave the farmers a little help. [1:50:57] Twelve billion dollars. [1:50:59] And they are so happy. [1:51:01] And they all they want is a level playing field. [1:51:03] And now it's happening and the tariffs are making them rich. [1:51:07] It's going to be you're going to see you're going to see what happens over the [1:51:10] next two years. It's like a miracle is taking place. [1:51:13] But we've taken in hundreds of billions of dollars, really trillions. [1:51:18] Scott. [1:51:19] We have the great Scott Bassett, Scott, stand up. [1:51:24] And if you add to that all of the companies that are pouring their money to [1:51:30] building right now, building plants in Pennsylvania and many other states, [1:51:34] auto plants, AI plants, plants of every type, which we would have never had if we [1:51:40] didn't put the tariffs on, did you see where Europe now is saying, [1:51:44] I think we got to start doing what Trump is doing. [1:51:46] We've got to start putting on tariffs because we're getting our asses kicked. [1:51:50] And it's true. [1:51:51] But Scott, if you really think [1:51:52] about it, it's trillions of dollars, not billions of dollars. [1:51:55] Right. So it's amazing. [1:51:57] It's the smart people understand that other people are starting to learn. [1:52:01] But the smart people really understand it. [1:52:04] One year ago under Sleepy Joe Biden, have you heard of him? [1:52:15] You know, OK, look, the king of Saudi Arabia told me this. [1:52:22] He said, sir, one year ago I was in Saudi Arabia. [1:52:26] Somebody complained that I was making a foreign trip. [1:52:29] I went to Saudi Arabia, [1:52:31] Qatar and UAE. [1:52:33] I brought back four trillion dollars. [1:52:37] They said he should be traveling. [1:52:39] He should focus on home. [1:52:40] What the hell do you think I'm doing? [1:52:43] And 250 Boeing jets. [1:52:46] I brought back so much everything. [1:52:48] Then they say he should, you know, the stupid people. [1:52:50] They say he should be leaving our country. [1:52:52] Yeah, let's sit around and twiddle our thumbs. [1:52:56] It's sort of crazy. [1:52:58] Right. But one year ago, the king of Saudi Arabia said it. [1:56:53] We just had four states. [1:56:54] It was just reported that four states had one dollar and ninety nine cents a gallon. [1:57:01] We're saw moving. [1:57:05] So I want to just.
