Uncle on Trial Jury Asks for a 911 Transcript and Lisa Hunt's First Interview — Pt 41

[0:00] jury has submitted another note it says 9-1-1 transcript that is it all right defendant is [0:18] present let's go back on the record jury has returned a question it says we would like a [0:32] whiteboard and marker i have labeled that as exhibit one for the record that'd be court's [0:47] exhibit one um mr bailiff any sort of materials here in the courthouse we do have an easel and a [0:55] whiteboard i don't know about the markers plenty in our office over in the old courthouse dry erase [1:04] markers in our office you know where our calendar is bring them yeah that'd be great how many like [1:14] four or five enough just in case they're they run dry okay okay so we do have an easel and a dry [1:23] race board yes okay and then we're gonna get markers from the clerk's office okay any objection [1:37] to just providing those materials to the jury instead of bringing them in here mr brit mr smith [1:46] okay so let's just go ahead and um why don't you give them the whiteboard correct okay my suggestion would be to bring the jury back in [3:12] and play the 911 call and i can explain to the jury that there is no transcript there are two because [3:22] there's the 911 call by the nurse crystal beck and the 911 call of lisa hunt now let's just go ahead [3:59] and play them both how long are each of them okay we can go ahead and pull out state's exhibit two [4:12] and have a five-year-old that was brought in um who is now intubated and headed to [16:00] new hanover with unknown etiology and what looks appears to strongly appears to be strangulation [16:11] marks on her neck okay and the second thing that you needed um i wasn't i new hanover had told me [16:21] to ask if this was going to be a situation that local pd needed to come to new hanover for are they [16:31] new hanover would take care of it because they're going to be in new hanover if it occurred in pender [16:36] county it would need to be reported in pender county what was the address that it occurred [16:40] or that they were brought in from the home address uh 104 blackwater drive so that is pender okay um [16:52] i will go ahead and put this in do you want me to go ahead and have an and i got up and i slated on the couch and she was fine fever was still a little [25:19] small but when i got up she wasn't laying this way she was this way sitting up on the couch [25:27] and her eyes were rolling back in her head and peyton savannah was up and she had turned the tv on which [25:33] savannah does that a lot she gets up at night and cuts on the tv and she just says she told [25:40] come in there said something about that peyton once well peyton was acting crazy and that's all she said [25:46] and i went in there and her eyes was rolled back please tell me what's wrong with her i don't know [25:52] i'm not a doctor i can't really say uh why do you have that right please because i'm not doing what [25:58] what's what's i know that we that my son grabbed her tongue right figure to keep her from swallowing it [26:04] but please tell me why that's down there because she's not been peeing and she's not been pooping [26:11] let me show you please i don't know if i can take it or not does that say trauma to the vaginal area [26:36] ma'am look look at her neck yeah she's got a rash i see that that's not a rash that's not no [26:46] oh god please please please you can talk to her but she does have fetal alcohol syndrome but when i found [27:27] her she was seasoned now i have dogs in the house but they wouldn't have done that no no just like a rope [27:37] burn yeah my husband was in the bed with me i mean i know where he was happening my son went out but [27:47] he'd come out let him in and lock the door what time i think i locked the door at 11 o'clock and she [27:51] was fine yes and she was fine oh my god you don't die i don't know oh my god the nightmare i'm living [28:11] i should have left her in the bed with me that's a rope you said i thought i don't know i've never seen [28:27] nothing like that yeah appears to be like a quarter inch piece of rope what about your son i don't [28:38] never known him to do nothing like that and he's been around these babies since they were born he [28:43] just moved back in town no he's been with his girlfriend living where um well they would stand [28:50] with her her father and then her and her father got in a fight so they moved out so they moved in with [28:56] his aunt and it wasn't going to work there so he she went i don't know where she went but he came home [29:03] and he was out last night with some friends had you been drinking no not that i know of oh my god [29:17] oh my god all right i'm gonna talk to your son somebody did this yes they did and i want to know [29:37] who whether it's him or whoever i want that's that's my baby you know no you don't that's i took [29:46] her out of an abusive for this i've had her for three years not for this it's a vanity out there have [30:03] y'all done can you do a rape kit on or can you do something like that on her you can do everything [30:07] okay that's what i want i want everything okay everything everything okay i'm just going to answer [30:22] some questions is savannah jealous of peyton sometimes but i mean we don't know i mean you [30:30] know i'm just talking to you i was asleep i mean i woke up i don't know the tv woke me up [30:35] and she just said that savannah was acting peyton said savannah said peyton was acting crazy [30:40] is there anything around the couch area she could have used or no no no i
