Trump thanks himself while taking reporter questions on Iran & economy

[0:00] i said to boeing what's the best one they said this is the best plane ever built [0:04] and you're gonna have the privilege of flying it and i have a privilege also of flying it [0:09] but this is the first flight we're going to the teddy roosevelt presidential library [0:15] opening and that'll be very good that'll be a lot of fun but i think you know to be honest with you [0:22] uh i'm excited about the first flight it's something nobody's ever seen anything like it [0:28] even you people with all your experience and all of your talent you will never see anything like [0:34] this so they just completed it they made it appropriate for a president that means the [0:41] security and all of the different bells and whistles they put on very complex now but it's really [0:48] quite something and this is a plane that the united states of america should have our [0:52] air force one was 35 36 years old and it would be parked next to the new ones like this and [1:02] it really didn't look appropriate for our country so we're very proud of this the country is very proud [1:08] of it and you can do two things you can low-key it or you can show it and i think the country should be [1:15] very proud of it and it's beautiful and you'll see that in a little while when you board as far as [1:21] things are going the denuclearization of iran is moving along well they've had very good meetings [1:30] and we'll see we hit them very hard for three nights as you know but we're getting along very well so i [1:36] call it the denuclearization and uh it's all taking place it's all going well the stock market is setting [1:45] records virtually every day the oil price is way down we're down at 68 i see it hit 68 today [1:52] that's lower than when i started the uh i guess you could call it an attack on iran so that they [1:59] never have a nuclear weapon so the oil price is now lower the retail prices the gasoline is coming [2:05] down rapidly and if you have any questions let's go mr president what's your favorite upgrade to the [2:11] new plane and how much did it cost american taxpayers to upgrade the plane of course very little relative to [2:17] what it would cost if we did it a different way so this was a gift from a country that's treated us [2:24] very well and they're an ally of us over in the middle east qatar and i went to boeing i said who [2:31] has the best one they said qatar there's no there's never been a plane like it frankly we couldn't build [2:37] a plane like this because we wouldn't be willing to spend the kind of money necessary they spent top [2:43] top dollars so the head of boeing said this is considered the best 747 they've ever built [2:49] and i went to qatar i said i'd like to use it for a period of time because the other ones as you know [2:54] are under construction they'll be here in two years and because you know the plane is 35 years old [3:01] so i said i'd like to use it and the emir tamim who's a great gentleman he said no no i'd like to [3:09] make a contribution to the country so uh it was very nice and we're able to do it in about five months [3:17] you know bring it up to the presidential standard meaning security wise and uh you're gonna get [3:24] you're gonna get a kick out of it there's just nothing like it hey mr president you had a very [3:29] lucrative year last year what message does this send to average americans especially [3:34] those who may be struggling right now financially i don't get involved in my personal we have funds [3:39] that run my money well i've made a lot of money before i became president and they invest my money [3:46] and i don't talk to them i never i don't even speak to them so i have many people i don't know what [3:51] they call closed accounts or something you put your money in and that's it i don't talk to them they're big [3:56] institutions and they run it but yeah i've had a great career in business i've had a great career [4:02] concerns about conflict of interest i don't know if i've had a better career in politics or business [4:07] but i had a great career in business and uh you know you saw the cash and you report the different [4:13] things and what they do is we gave it i think it's called the blind account but they basically they take [4:19] it and i purposely i never speak to any of the people that run the money but they're at big institutions [4:24] and they invest in whatever they invest but to critics who say to critics who say you're profiting [4:29] off the presidency mr well you know why i'm profiting because the stock market's going up everybody's [4:34] profiting if you have you have a 401k how's your 401k done it's about up 85 thank you president trump [4:43] so we're all profiting i'm profiting because i have a lot of money and a lot of cash and we i give it to [4:49] institutions i don't know if they know what they're doing or not but uh they buy a vast array of [4:55] things secretary hexes and general kane about potentially returning to an all-out war with iran [5:03] does this mean you've been unhappy with iran's adherence to the mou well i think they've uh come a [5:09] long way we hit them very hard last week i think they're fine i think we're gonna it's it's the [5:15] denuclearization of iran it's very simple and iran cannot have a nuclear weapon otherwise all of [5:21] this stuff that we look at all of these things that we do the country's never had activity like [5:26] it's got right now so we're building more factories and car plants and other things we went for years [5:32] without ever building one car plant now we're building many car plants we're building ai we're [5:37] building we're building all over the country 19.1 trillion dollars being invested the record was [5:44] like two and we've got 19.1 and it's going to continue and when those buildings open you're going [5:51] to see something like the country's never seen before that's why the stock market's going up every [5:56] day that's why you're 401k because everybody benefits when the stock market goes up everybody [6:02] benefits more jobs more everything and we're creating more jobs we have more people working today [6:08] that have ever worked in the history of our country it's great and that's before these places open [6:13] they'll be opening up over the next year and we have them coming into taiwan we have from taiwan [6:19] we have more chip makers and the biggest the biggest company in the world actually the chip maker [6:26] but they're coming in they're building in arizona and they just announced they're going to double [6:30] the size we could have 50 of the chip market by the time i leave office you know what we had now [6:36] nothing and then i uh got as a gift another gift i said to intel give the united states of [6:44] they needed something they needed some help the chip banker i said give the united states of america [6:50] i'll do it for you but give the united states of america 10 of your company he said you have a deal [6:58] he said it so fast i said i should have asked for more but he said you have a deal and that stake [7:05] is now worth 80 billion dollars i made 80 billion dollars for the country in eight months does [7:12] anybody talk about it no have a good time have a good flight enjoy the plane quick question [7:19] got dni poulti over there as the new director we also know you have the task force set up on [7:24] declassification maybe looking talking about international maybe looking at some declassification [7:29] are you able to give us an update on declassify almost everything and you know by the way we have [7:34] jay clayton is going in you know bill pulte is a very talented guy but he's just there temporarily [7:40] until jay clayton and jay clayton is going through the process and jay clayton highly respected and so [7:45] is bill pulte but bill is there just for a fairly short period of time but while he's there i said you [7:52] can declassify whatever you want do you think we're going to get something soon or maybe 20 i told him [7:56] you can do it you got to ask him all right but uh i think he's a friend of yours i think that i think [8:03] that uh bill will declassify i told him you can declassify whatever you want so bill's there just [8:10] you know for maybe a month or two in north dakota [9:07] as the president now departing there and you may notice air force one looks a little bit different
