Trump Storms Off Meet The Press — Hegseth Calls Migrants Nazis — Vance Says Ban My Wife's People

[00:00:01] Speaker 1: Donald Trump stormed off Sunday's Meet the Press after the host, Kirsten Welker, kept demanding he show proof that Tuesday's California primaries were rigged, that most of the January Sixers were innocent, having been waved into the Capitol by dirty FBI agents, and that the 2020 presidential election was stolen when she kept demanding evidence. He ripped off the microphone and stormed off, and that's a picture of Donald Trump's, is that, yes, I think that's what Donald Trump looks like when he's storming off, or maybe something else. More on that later. Poor, poor Donald Trump. He had such big plans for America's 250th and his 80th birthday later this month, but all the performers canceled, except for Lee Greenwood and Vanilla Ice. So he's basically canceling our nation's birthday. But who doesn't? I want to see Lee Greenwood and Vanilla Ice. That sounds fantastic. It sounds like every PBS pledge drive on a Saturday night. Ever turn on your PBS station on Saturday night thinking, oh, maybe I'll watch a Frontline, and instead they're running old episodes of Lawrence Welk or a Frankie Avalon concert as part of their pledge break, and you're thinking, Hey, it's PBS. What happened to that 12-hour Ken Burns fart fest on Andrew Jackson that nobody wants to watch? Anyway, I would pay money to see Vanilla Ice and Lee Greenwood, but everybody is pulling out of the Great American State Fair. It's just basically going to be Trump, but he did schedule this big UFC cage match on the White House lawn. Unfortunately, that's not going well. Adam Sandler, Mario Lopez, Dwayne The Rock Johnson, and actor Jared Leto all thanked Dana White, UFC president and CEO, for the invitation. But no, thanks. We're not coming. USA Today reporting that hotlines set up for American service members seeking legal advice are now receiving calls from soldiers concerned they may be tried for war crimes due to their participation in airstrikes against suspected narco-terrorists in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific. Since early September, the U.S. military killed more than 200 people on boats suspected of carrying drugs. By all domestic and international law, these airstrikes are illegal, and military law dictates that soldiers are forbidden from following illegal orders. So USA Today reporting that the hotline, the legal hotline for soldiers to call anonymously for legal advice, they're being flooded with questions about, am I going to be tried for war crimes? Well, relatives of the victims are now filing lawsuits in federal courts, which will complicate things for some of these soldiers, but mostly Defense Chief Pete Hexeth, who was repeatedly warned by Pentagon lawyers of the illegalities, especially the crime of killing survivors of these airstrikes, which our military has admitted to. A presidential pardon only protects Hexeth from criminal prosecution for anything he did while Secretary of Defense. It doesn't give him immunity from a civil action filed by survivors of one of these illegal airstrikes. Now, granted, it's pretty much impossible to get a civil judgment against a former defense secretary, Rumsfeld, McNamara. They'd all, you know, they'd all, you know, they'd all be broke. They would have all been sued into poverty. So theoretically, Hexeth does have some protections under the Westfall Act. The Westfall Act, that's, it gives a government official some protection in a civil lawsuit where the defendant becomes the defendant and not the ex-government official. As long as long as what they're being sued over involve performing in performing an official role for the government. Now, Donald Trump is taking the E. Jean Carroll judgment to the Supreme Court, claiming he's protected under the Westfall Act because he defamed. E. Jean Carroll in 2019 while he was president. So it should be the government that pays her the $90 million, not Donald Trump. So this is going to either be rejected by the Supreme Court, I hope. And I would assume after Hexeth leaves office, he will be sued. But plaintiffs must prove he was not performing his official role as defense chief when he ordered these illegal airstrikes. And more importantly, they have to prove he knew they were unconstitutional and illegal. That's not too hard to prove because Pentagon lawyers have left a paper trail with memos telling him this is illegal. And he was warned starting in September. These are illegal and unconstitutional. And these airstrikes continue afterwards. So there are lawyers lining up to sue Hexeth. Lawyers convinced his ordering illegal airstrikes on suspected narco terrorists was not only in direct violation of domestic and international law. But it also doesn't fall under the scope of defense chief. We'll see. Again, we already know Hexeth was advised these orders are illegal. But here's the real problem, because this is the United States of America. When the crimes are so big, so numerous, they become impossible to prosecute or we can't allow them to be litigated in a civil court because it would undermine whatever trust is left in our government. This is the United States. So when the crimes are of such enormity, we have to ignore them for the good of the country. The Associated Press reporting this morning that 25% of the Navy is made up of women, yet not a single one has been promoted to one-star admiral in 2026. The Associated Press also reporting that Hexeth was handed a list of 31 captains for promotion to one-star admiral. Hexeth crossed out all the women on the list and two black men. The New York Times reporting Hexeth ordered the Pentagon to cut the number of religions recognized by our military and its chaplain corps. The number of religions will go down from 200 to only 31 religions recognized by the Pentagon. 31, 22 out of the 31 are Christian denominations. Thanks to Hexeth, the Pentagon no longer recognizes the validity of what are called non-traditional faiths like atheists, pagan, Wiccan, humanists, New Age, Unitarian, Universalists, and probably Catholic. I do know that he is anti-Catholic, and Easter, he canceled the Catholic Easter Mass and had a Protestants-only mass. He's a follower of Doug Wilson, who believes Catholicism should be outlawed. Yeah, that's our defense chief, Pete Hexeth. Saturday was the 82nd anniversary of the D-Day invasion, liberating France and Europe from Nazi occupation. Hexeth spoke at a French cemetery where American GIs are buried. Now, first off, he's come under criticism for bringing his idiot wife and six of his seven children to the event on the government's dime. The Pentagon, when asked about this, said Hexeth paid the travel expenses for his idiot wife and children, but he didn't pay for the increased security needed to protect them, and that's very expensive. The Washington Post, out with an expose, reporting that Hexeth's security is provided by the Army's Criminal Investigative Division, whose costs have exploded since Hexeth became defense chief, because they have to provide protection not just for all of Hexeth's kids, but his ex-wives and their families, too. The Washington Post reports that ex-Army security officials say they have never seen a defense chief abuse the free protection offered by the Pentagon on a scale like this before. Hexeth reportedly took his entire family on a trip to Hawaii last October, placing more strain on the Army's Criminal Investigative Division. That's the division that protects Hexeth and his idiot family. Did I say idiot family? Yeah. I'm going to watch what I say. The Post says there's no evidence that Hexeth reimbursed the Pentagon for his trip to Hawaii. Well, in his speech honoring American soldiers who sacrificed their lives on D-Day, Hexeth compared immigrants to Nazis. And speaking in France, it was at a French cemetery, Hexeth chastised all of Europe for doing nothing to stop these immigrants who he compared to the Nazis. Hexeth said, "Sadly today, different European beaches are stormed by different dangerous ideologies. Beaches in Spain, in Italy, in Greece and Bulgaria, boats and men arrive. When will European capitals do something about that invasion or is it too late? I pray not." Well, this is wrong on so many levels. First of all, comparing the D-Day invasion to immigrants as Nazis invading Europe, the metaphor doesn't work. That's the first thing. Whoever wrote the speech is a moron. Our defense chief, though, dishonored the graves of American GIs, many of them children of immigrants. He dishonored the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice on D-Day by comparing immigrants to Nazis. Vice President J.D. Vance, you might recall, lectured German leaders last year because they refused to allow Alternative for Germany, a party made up of Nazi apologists, into their coalition government. That's the firewall that they have in Europe, where they don't allow Nazis into a coalition government, even if they come in second place as Alternative for Germany did in last year's parliamentary elections. So J.D. Vance defended Alternative for Germany, lectured German leaders about free speech and called Alternative for Germany politicians patriots who simply love their country and want to protect its culture. Alternative for Germany. Alternative for Germany calls for the rounding up of all Muslim citizens in Germany and shipping them back to their country of origin in a process called re-migration. Re-migration. Under the leadership of Marco Rubio, the State Department now quietly set up an office of re-migration, which looks into ways of deporting immigrants, even though they have unimpeachably protected legal status. The Justice Department has now begun filing lawsuits to denaturalize immigrants who are now U.S. citizens. Denaturalization is a form of re-migration. Denaturalization is a process where Department of Justice lawyers, because they have nothing better to do, stand before a judge, not a jury, and try to convince that judge an immigrant was war-wrongly awarded citizenship. Close to 40 U.S. attorneys' offices around the country have been ordered to ramp up their denaturalization cases. They've been given quotas to strip as many as 200 immigrants of their U.S. citizenship this year. This year, it starts with 200 immigrants, you get good at it, and next it's 200,000. The number they are talking about, when you get them drunk, 100 million. They believe 100 million people do not belong in this country. On Friday, J.D. Vance stuck his nose into British politics by blaming the death of an English citizen on that country's lax immigration policy. Just when you think you can't hate J.D. Vance anymore, just when you think he cannot be more despicable, he's attacking Great Britain's lax immigration policy because an 18-year-old university student, white, his name was Henry Nowak, he was tragically stabbed to death by another British citizen. Now, both men, British citizens, both men, not immigrants, both men born in England, and yet our vice president says Henry Nowak's death is an example of why Britain needs to stop allowing immigrants into their country. So why does J.D. Vance blame the death of Henry Nowak on Britain's lax immigration policy? Because this British citizen, Henry Nowak, born in Britain, was killed by the son of a mother who was born in India. So it was a dark-skinned British citizen, whose mother was born in India, killing Henry Nowak, and J.D. Vance is blaming it on lax immigration, even though the convicted killer is not an immigrant. Now, the trial's over, and we've learned that Nowak, who's white, his killer, who is a person of color, because his mother was born in India, the killer falsely claimed Nowak had committed a hate crime against him, and so he acted in self-defense. So when police showed up, they believed the guy who ended up being the murderer, and they handcuffed Nowak, who later died. Again, Nowak was white. Nowak was white, the man convicted of killing him, was dark. Both men, born in Britain, both men, British citizens, because the killer's mother was from India. In Australia, J.D. Vance says, "This is why we need to stop immigrants from entering our country, Europe, and England." This is what our racist vice president, J.D. Vance, said about the killing in Britain. Quote, "His murder," talking about the white 18-year-old, "His murder is as tragic as it is enraging. He should still be alive today, and he would be if the last few generations of European elites had stood their ground against the politics of self-hatred and the mass invasion of migrants, many of whom despise the West and the people who love it." He goes on to say, "Henry was far from the first to so needlessly lose his life, and I fear he won't be the last. Each time a life like his is lost, the proper response, the only response, is righteous anger." This is fueling the politics of resentment and white racist paranoia. You cannot get more despicable than J.D. Vance, but we'll see. Maybe we can. Former Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene allowed herself to be videotaped getting stem cell treatment in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, she said, to ward off the aging process. Marjorie, let me assure you, your memory isn't going. You're just stupid. That's not senility. That's ignorance. And Cynthia West is a former staffer for Republican Indiana Congresswoman Victoria Sparks. And Cynthia West claims that within weeks of his wife dying, Kentucky Republican Congressman Thomas Massey bragged to her about having sex with Colorado House Republican Lauren Boebert. Boebert was asked by Fox News on Friday if she did, in fact, sleep with Massey. And Boebert responded, quote, "First of all, F you," she said the word, and then she accused Fox News of being sexist. Of course it's sexist. You cannot be a woman in the Republican Party complaining about sexism on Fox News. Well, the war in Iran, the war in Iran that Trump says is not a war, has now entered its 100th day as traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is completely shut down. According to people who monitor this stuff, they look at satellites, zero ships have passed through Hormuz in the past 48 hours. Mohammed Salah Jokar is a general with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and a member of the Iranian parliament who has previously begged Donald Trump to send in ground troops so he could personally massacre them. On Sunday, Jokar said, quote, "With one needle, the balloon of America's power burst and deflated and deflated and the whole world understood that America cannot do a damn thing militarily." Well, you know, I'm rooting for America. It's my country. But there is nothing we can do militarily about the Strait of Hormuz. So Trump doesn't know what to do. But he says we have a deal. We have a deal. During the first Trump administration, some of you might remember that every week was Infrastructure Week. And it became like a running joke because on Monday, the Trump press office would announce this is Infrastructure Week and Donald Trump is going to unveil his big plan to rebuild America's crumbling infrastructure. And every week, Trump found an excuse not to unveil the big plan that he didn't have. But it was coming. It's just hours away. We're putting our finishing touches on the infrastructure bill after we come up with a replacement for Obamacare. We have a big with concepts of replacement for Obamacare. Well, every day, we're hours away from that big deal with Iran. So he appeared on 60, not 60 Minutes, Meet the Press. And he told Kirsten Welker that Iran's military is virtually decapitated that we've won. OK, so I'm a broken record on this. You've decapitated and destroyed Iran's military. OK, hotshot. You've got half the United States Navy off the coast of Iran. If Iran's military is decapitated, why aren't you seizing the shores of Hormuz? Why aren't you taking Karg Island? That's the question that needs to be asked of Hexeth and Trump every time they say we won. They don't have a military left. Then why can't you open Hormuz? Why do you have to blockade Hormuz instead of open it? Why aren't you escorting tankers through Hormuz if you've destroyed their entire military? So with Donald Trump, as you know, every attack is a confession. He said on Meet the Press Sunday that Iran is desperate for a deal, but they're too proud to admit it. Right. It's Iran that's desperate for a deal, but they're too proud to admit it. Yes. OK. South Carolina and Maine voters go to the polls on Tuesday to pick Senate, House and gubernatorial candidates for November's general election. So South Carolina Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace, who carved out a position in the past two years as the most transphobic politician in Washington, it looks like she's going down to defeat in her bid to win the Republican nomination for South Carolina governor. After Donald Trump endorsed one of her opponents, he did that to punish Mace for voting to release the Epstein files. So in order to avoid a runoff, one of the candidates for the nomination must score 50% on Tuesday. Unlikely. Now, according to the latest polls, Nancy Mace, a despicable human being, sits near the bottom with just 12% of the vote. Leading the pack is the Trump endorsed candidate, South Carolina's Lieutenant Governor, Pamela Yvette, who Trump calls a real America first patriot. So Trump is punishing Nancy Mace over the Epstein files. She entered Congress on January 3rd, 2021. And some of us thought she was going to be maybe a new breed of Republican willing to shake off MAGA world. One of her first votes was to certify the election for Joe Biden, which of course was the height of disloyalty to Donald Trump. She did, however, vote not to impeach Trump for the role he played in inciting the January 6th insurrection. Wait, it gets really interesting. Also vying for the Republican gubernatorial nomination on Tuesday. Is this homunculus? South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman, who's polling in fourth place. He's our old friend. I've been talking about Ralph Norman for five years because you might remember Ralph Norman, still a congressman. Hours before inauguration day 2021, Ralph Norman texted Donald Trump's then White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. In the text, Ralph Norman urged Trump to declare martial law in order to block Joe Biden from getting sworn in. He put it into writing. He also misspelled Marshall. And they asked him later, do you have any regrets? He said, yeah, I misspelled martial law. That's my only regret. So this is who they are. And you'd think that would merit, you know, his begging Donald Trump to declare martial law so Joe Biden wouldn't get sworn in. You'd think that would merit an endorsement for governor from Donald Trump. He's Ralph Norman running for Republican nomination for governor of South Carolina on Tuesday. Now Trump won't endorse Norman. Why? Norman in 2023 ended up being the first and only member of Congress to endorse former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley for president. They're both from South Carolina and he figured Trump didn't stand a chance. This was February of 2023. Nikki Haley, also an idiot, announced her candidacy for president in February of 2023. I want to go over something with you. This is incredible. This is absolutely amazing. And this is why Ralph Norman endorsed Nikki Haley and not Donald Trump in the early part of 2023. So I'm going to give you some dates from 2023. And we knew this was coming. So Norman knew this was coming, and this is why he endorsed Nikki Haley. It's phenomenal. It is absolutely phenomenal. 2023. This is all happened in 2023. March 30th, 2023. Donald Trump is indicted in that Manhattan criminal trial for falsifying hush money documents. Okay? That's March 30th. May 9th, 2023. After a two-week trial in April of 2023, one of two juries, one of two juries orders Donald Trump to pay damage to E. Jean Carroll who claimed he raped her. June 8th, 2023, Trump is indicted by Jack Smith for mishandling classified documents. August 1st, 2023. August 1st, 2023. This is all in the same effing year. August 14th, 2023. August 14th, 2023. Trump is indicted by Fulton County District Attorney Fawnie Willis along with 18 others in a RICO trial charging Trump with masterminding a scheme to overturn election results in Georgia. October 2nd, 2023. The trial against Donald Trump begins in a New York City courtroom after Letitia James, the state attorney general of New York, sued Trump for defrauding banks and lenders out of hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars. That's all in 2023. Six separate trials all in one year. Three, he lost because they went to trial. The other three never got before a jury and were only tossed out because he won the election in 2024. You put Trump on trial, he loses. Now, if you're Ralph Norman in February of 2023 and you know all these indictments are about to come down and all these trials are about to start, Nikki Haley sure seems like a safe bet in February of 2023. And if you're the American voter in 2023 watching Trump on trial in six separate courtrooms in one year for six separate crimes, you have two only two possible conclusions. A. The entire legal profession conspired to weaponize the law against poor Donald Trump or B. Donald Trump is the single biggest con artist and criminal in American history. Either or. He's running as an outsider and an outsider who can bring his experience as a for-profit hospital entrepreneur to fix Maine's broken health care system. Because if there's one thing missing from America's health care system, it's the profit motive. We need a hospital entrepreneur to fix our health care system. Well, the current governor of Maine is Democrat Janet Mills. She's being term limited out of office. She was running to be the Democratic nominee for Senate. She was going to challenge five-term incumbent Republican Susan Collins seeking her sixth term. But Graham Plattner, a Bernie and AOC-endorsed veteran turned oyster farmer, began destroying Governor Janet Mills in the polls leading up to this Tuesday's primaries. So Governor Janet Mills, Democrat, suspended her campaign. But her name is still on the ballot. If you're a Democrat voting to nominate somebody to run against Susan Collins in November, you can still vote for Janet Mills. And new revelations about Plattner's mistreatment of ex-girlfriends some say could jumpstart her campaign before Tuesday. Doesn't seem to be happening. More on that coming up. Well, Donald Trump walked off Meet the Press after the host refused to stop asking him to substantiate his claims that the California election last Tuesday and the 2020 presidential election that Joe Biden won was rigged. He wouldn't stop saying it was both elections were rigged after Trump claimed the FBI was there on January 6th waving protesters into the Capitol. He couldn't provide any evidence on Sunday other than saying Jim Comey was a crooked cop, which has nothing to do with January 6th because Trump fired Comey four years previously because Comey refused to stop looking into Russiagate. That would be obstruction of justice. Robert Mueller and Mueller reports that that was obstruction of justice. On Meet the Press Sunday, Trump refused to say whether he would go ahead with plans to set up a 1.8 billion dollar weaponization fund for so-called victims of the Biden Justice Department, even though acting Attorney General Todd Blanche testified before Congress last week that the fund is now dead Blanche said not moving forward with the fund period unquote and in two court filings last week Blanche's Department of Justice tried to get lawsuits in Virginia and Washington DC challenging the fund. He tried to get them thrown out by writing to the two judges that this fund is dead therefore these lawsuits should be put to rest and yet Trump on Meet the Press saying he still hasn't made up his mind about this weaponization fund So there are reports now that they have figured out another way to pay reparations to January Sixers without going through Congress. There are reports that Stanley Woodward the number three man at the Justice Department he is pursuing a workaround to a congressionally approved fund for the January Sixers he thinks he can tap into an uncapped source of settlement claims that are made available to the Department of Justice through the Torts Claims Act of 1946 which allows the Justice Department to settle lawsuits against the government without any congressionally mandated funds according to the new plan the Department of Justice thinks it can pay settlements to January Sixers citing the Torts Claim Act of 1946 and just bill the Treasury Department directly without Congress having to set up this 1.8 billion dollar fund so Trump is obviously keeping his options open during the interview on Sunday Meet the Press Trump falsely claimed the Biden FBI raided Mar-a-Lago well that was not a raid that was a court ordered search of Donald Trump's property for classified documents that Trump refused over and over again to turn over it wasn't a raid a raid is when they kick open the door and the people inside and the people inside never expected never expected it that's that's a raid the FBI before they searched Mar-a-Lago with a warrant they contacted Trump's lawyers they told Trump's lawyers when they would be arriving to pick up the classified documents they even went so far as to suggest that Trump and his family they would probably not be there so they wouldn't be rattled and inconvenienced but instead Trump according to superseding indictments from Jack Smith Trump used that heads up from the FBI hey we're coming he used that to order his Mar-a-Lago security team including Walt Nauta his body man who still works for him he ordered his Mar-a-Lago security team to move the documents to hide the classified documents from the FBI which resulted in obstruction of justice indictments against Donald Trump the lawyer representing some of those Mar-a-Lago employees like Walt Nauta who were indicted for obstruction of justice that lawyer was Stanley Woodward who is now the number three man at the Justice Department looking into how to pay January Sixers reparations without congressional approval well on Meet the Press Donald Trump claimed 97% of the people who stormed the Capitol on January 6 were peaceful and that they ended up getting badly hurt afterwards by the Biden Justice Department which prosecuted 1,583 of them this is one of the worst interviews I've ever seen Trump give I recommend I was going to play it but I'd rather describe it the vitriol the lunacy and the attacks on make the judgment on a case-by-case basis because he said we had a lot of crooked cops on January 6 he then called a lot of those cops at the capitol on January 6 dirty he said we had a lot of crooked crooked cops on January 6 they were dirty and then he started calling Comey a dirty cop again even though Comey wasn't FBI chief during January 6 but Trump is perpetuating the phony narrative that were terrified of going to prison for 15 years he said quote they pled guilty because they were frightened unquote he continued quote they were ushered into a building the people were destroyed by the Capitol rioters into the building and he says there's plenty of evidence that the 2020 presidential election was rigged so he he starts saying that the Democrats are cheating right now in California in the counting of the vote despite a Department of Justice attorney sent by by Todd Blanche to monitor the count in Los Angeles last week that attorney declared there's no evidence to a widely spread internet rumor that Republican Spencer Pratt's votes for mayor are not being counted so an attorney from the Trump Justice Department tamped down a Trump lie and rumor but it doesn't matter that his own Justice Department said no they're counting the votes Spencer Pratt's votes are being counted doesn't matter Trump called Los Angeles California a rigged election and he was unable to provide any evidence other than it's taking a week to count all the votes well taking your time to count votes making sure every vote is tabulated that's not rigging an election it might be slow it might be laborious torturous and methodical but that doesn't mean it's rigged if the California vote was rigged Steve Hilton the Republican candidate for governor wouldn't have come in second almost beating the Democrat Becerra again asked for evidence Trump said there's nothing but evidence when asked do you have evidence to support any of this and Trump said quote all I have to do is look all I have to do is look and I listen and I listen to the people unquote yes to the voices of the people inside my head there is no evidence Trump has never been able to prove in a court of law that any election was rigged or stolen he's never been able to prove there was any voter fraud in the lead up to January 6 Trump's lawyers led by Rudy Giuliani they stood before 60 judges and were unable to produce one shred of evidence that there was voter fraud in Georgia Pennsylvania Arizona Wisconsin and Michigan all the swing states Trump lost now Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman his most vocal proponents of voter fraud they've had their law licenses permanently stripped for making those claims doesn't matter Trump continues to claim millions and millions of undocumented immigrants right now are voting for Democrats in California that they voted in 2024 in all the swing states and all the special elections so what's the truth the Brennan Center says the incidence of a non-citizen voting in a federal election is fewer than ready zero point fewer than zero point zero zero zero one percent of all ballots cast you know what fewer than zero point zero zero zero one percent comes out to mistakenly believed they were eligible to vote for example we allow immigrants who aren't citizens to vote here in New York City so there is a little confusion it's very easy to catch somebody who which pretty much wrote Project 2025 they report that since 2000 billions and billions of votes have been cast in United States elections and of those billions and billions of votes cast since 2000 according to the Heritage Foundation there are in total fewer than 100 cases of undocumented immigrants suspected of voting not convicted not charged suspected that is from the evil Heritage Foundation which is pushing all these voter ID laws even though they know voter fraud is a fraud it doesn't exist but Trump keeps insisting no voter fraud is happening on a massive scale that these immigrants are all part of some grand great replacement scheme executed by Democrats and the Jews he doesn't say the Jews but that's this is the great replacement theory that the Jews and the Democrats are smuggling people of color into this country to vote away the power of white heritage Americans again when Trump was pressed on Sunday by Meet the Press for evidence he tore off his microphone storming away and accused Kristen Welker the host of Meet the Press of being crooked and stupid he put his arm on her and called her darling in a very threatening way it was a it's a sight to behold I won't play it I rarely play him most of you have already seen it but some of you don't know what you were looking at his body language anger and frustration was that of a white supremacist talking to a black woman and you could see he was capable and is capable of doing what two separate juries in the E.G. in the world or at least more time to demand Trump produce evidence back up your claims which he couldn't do and so he stormed off in a rage because he couldn't run out the clock that is why live interviews are garbage that's why the Sunday shows with newsmakers are garbage because they're done live people like Trump run out the clock there is never any time for the host to demand that Mike Johnson substantiate his lies about what's in one big beautiful bill with substantiate that with facts live TV no time and this is why this is exactly why Trump refused to sit for an interview with 60 Minutes in the lead up to the 2024 presidential election you might remember this 60 Minutes interviews presidential candidates about a week before the November election but he wouldn't do the interview why because it wasn't live so Trump always chickens out Kamala Harris did the interview and that humiliated Donald Trump Kamala Harris being brave enough to go on 60 Minutes made him look scared which he was so to save face what did Trump do he sued 60 Minutes claiming they edited the Kamala Harris segment to make her look smarter than she actually is see he doesn't want to do a pre-taped interview because they're edited they're edited down they ask they keep repeating the same question until you either answer it or in Trump's case storm off humiliated now after Trump was sworn in in 2025 his head of the FCC Brendan Carr carrying water or urine for Donald Trump demanded the unedited transcripts of the Kamala Harris interview for 60 minutes and 60 minutes handed them over but 60 minutes also made the unedited transcripts available for the whole world to read smart move anybody who read the unedited transcripts knew that 60 minutes wasn't moving any clips around to make Kamala Harris seem more intelligent than she actually is but Trump was president by now so it didn't matter that the transcripts proved nobody rigged the interview in favor of Kamala Harris doesn't matter see Paramount owned 60 minutes it owned CBS News at the time Sherry Redstone was one of the I think she owned most of the stock and she wanted permission from Trump's FCC Brendan Carr and the DOJ she wanted permission to sell Paramount CBS MTV all comedy all those companies under the Paramount umbrella she wanted permission from Trump's FCC and DOJ to sell the company to David Ellison who is the son of Larry Ellison founder of Oracle Computers one of the richest men in the world and David Ellison can't do it on his own so he's spending daddy's billions so CBS News 60 Minutes owned by Paramount Paramount wants to sell the entire company to daddy's boy half a man David Ellison so to smooth things over with Donald Trump's Department of Justice and FCC CBS decided to cut a check for $16 million to Donald Trump's future library and poof miraculously the purchase of Paramount went through immediately after there was no evidence that 60 Minutes edited an interview with Kamala Harris to make her look smarter than she actually was 60 Minutes and CBS News didn't want to cut the check but their corporate parent said we're going to cut a check for $16 million to Donald Trump's library because we want out we want to sell to David Ellison that's all it took a check for $16 million to sell a phony lawsuit claiming 60 Minutes damaged [01:05:36] Speaker ?: damaged a year after daddy led him by Paramount David Ellison still feeling worthless because he is he said I have to own daddy buy me Warner Discovery which is the parent company of CNN and he succeeded at least in convincing shareholders to approve the purchase Netflix was going to buy it and they thought forget it and David Ellison son of billionaire Larry Ellison David Ellison half a man succeeded in convincing shareholders to approve the purchase of CNN's parent company Warner Discovery all that's left now is approval from Donald Trump's FCC and Department of Justice so Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren is calling this quote an antitrust disaster CNN's Anderson Cooper quit 60 Minutes after Ellison put conservative and devout defender of Benjamin Netanyahu Barry Weiss put her in charge of CBS News Anderson Cooper also turned down an offer from Barry Weiss to anchor the CBS Evening News ratings just plummeting she's destroyed CBS Evening News and as Scott Pelley said she's been put in there to murder 60 Minutes now she doesn't know she was put in there to murder 60 Minutes she's a useful idiot 1,000 people who work in Hollywood put their name on a petition urging the Trump administration to block half a man David Ellison from using his father's fortune to buy Warner Brothers Discovery the parent company of CNN he would own Paramount and Warner Brothers Discovery he would own CBS News and CNN so we see how David Ellison destroyed 60 Minutes and Stephen Colbert's The Late Show because despite both being huge generators of cash they won their time slots Donald Trump hated both shows and it's Donald Trump's FCC and Department of Justice that must approve this merger now CBS fired Stephen Colbert on the phony premise that he was losing money for CBS that is an effing lie yes the advertising fees for broadcast television alone didn't cover the costs of producing Colbert's show but there are much more profitable streams of income that David Ellison left out of the equation Colbert was generating tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars in what are called affiliate fees and streaming income so they've killed The Late Show which if you're stupid enough to own I don't know can you own Skydam I don't know if you can even own David Ellison's stock he killed The Late Show he's killing 60 Minutes by installing this rabid right wing ideologue Barry Weiss to ruin the entire CBS news operation especially 60 Minutes what do you think David Ellison will do to CNN if the purchase of its parent company goes through well he's going to claim CNN is losing money that's going to be it's losing money that's how they justify firing Colbert it's a lie CNN is very successful it's expected to generate 1.8 billion dollars this year in revenue and it nets 600 million dollars in profit again CNN is not netting the 1 billion in profit it made in 2016 but who is I haven't had a 1 billion dollar profit I think since 2012 half a billion more than half is like the New York Times and their website is phenomenal and it's objective reporting it just is people beat up on mainstream media they they are a public trust and they're making money like the New York Times is making money but when you have new owners that means someone like Barry Weiss has to come in and fix something that isn't broken so what you do is you pull a Donald Trump you break something and then say oh I can fix it well California and New York are leading a coalition of states attorney generals who are going to sue to block David Ellison I think his company is called Paramount Skydance they're suing to block him from being able to own Warner Brothers Discovery the parent company of CNN so the lawsuit will be filed later this month and California Attorney General Rob Bonta is leading the lawsuit along with my queen Letitia James New York State Attorney General Bonta said the lawsuit is necessary due to quote the abdication of federal antitrust enforcement meanwhile there are reports that Scott Pelley who was fired last week from 60 minutes after publicly laying into the new management he has carved out a possible 100 million dollar payday by taking his story first to a publisher writing a book that will then be turned into a movie for Netflix we are being told in between his saying Barry Weiss is in between that collection of words Barry Weiss is and the words murdering 60 minutes Pelley in between those two phrases was on the phone with his people finding out how much he could haul in by becoming the story apparently a lot it's about to pull in about a hundred million dollars it was posturing I mean the way he stood up to Bilton or Bitten the new head of 60 Minutes so publicly he was looking for a $100 million payout well Donald Trump anymore but despite that a new economist YouGov poll showed in March of this year 50% of Americans support abolishing ICE not reforming ICE abolishing ICE only 39% oppose abolishing it that's the best polling on abolishing ICE ever see the American people came to this conclusion on their own just reading and watching ICE in action in Chicago Los Angeles Minnesota they didn't have any major Democrats other than Bernie and AOC nudging them along to this conclusion Americans 50% said hey we should abolish ICE so imagine what the polling would be if we had real leadership in the Democratic Party and we had people like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries pushing for getting rid of ICE entirely as well as the network of for-profit ICE detention centers which are now on track to make 2026 the deadliest on record for its inmates ICE acting director David Venturella announced that his agency will no longer make public reports of inmates who die within 30 days of getting released from a for-profit ICE detention facility during the Biden administration ICE was ordered to keep track of all detainees for 30 days after they are released from a for-profit detention facility because it became apparent to the Biden administration that these for-profit detention facilities in order to save money were throwing very sick inmates out onto the streets so they GEO group and core civic didn't have to spring for medical care so now because we're on track for the deadliest year on record the for-profit ICE detention centers got a break from ICE they no longer are going to keep track of what happens after an ICE detainee is thrown out because they got sick and now they're too expensive protests and hunger strikes continue outside Delaney Hall the ICE detention facility run by GEO group in Newark New Jersey GEO group largest provider of for-profit detention centers large one of the largest donors and earliest donors to Donald Trump in 2024 Department of Homeland Security's new chief the odious Mark Wayne Mullet he told reporters do not shed a tear over conditions inside Delaney Hall because it's filled he said with murderers rapists drug dealers child molesters and gangsters I think you were talking about Trump's cabinet I think you confused the two so that is a talking point that we often hear only the worst of the worst are in these ICE detention centers there is new reporting in the New York Times on the 591 inmates held inside Delaney it reveals nobody in there is being held for murder sexual assault or drug trafficking some have old DUIs and others were charged with petty larceny some very few but this bears repeating because this really makes me angry that people believe Kristi Noem and Mark Wayne Mullen and Donald Trump when they say alligator alligatraz the worst of the worst okay they're spending tens of billions of dollars on these for-profit ICE detention facilities claiming they house the worst of the worst so most of you know by now ICE agents are not real cops they're not real human beings and most of you know that ICE detention facilities are not real prisons this is a money grab Geo Group Core Civic they get something like $250 per person per day that's a lot of money that's what this is all about on the off chance undocumented immigrants have the lowest crime rate they've done studies I've been over this undocumented immigrants you want undocumented immigrants in your neighborhood they don't commit crime study after study shows that but on the off chance an undocumented immigrant is ever arrested for a felony like rape or murder and I get angry about this so I just want you to think for a second most of you know this so I'm not I don't want to take it out on my audience on the off chance an undocumented immigrant is arrested for a felony like murder rape the police don't turn that immigrant over to ICE and say get him out of our country he's a murderer and a rapist you know that's how stupid Trump thinks we are if a an undocumented immigrant commits murder or rape or steals a car that's what county jails and state prisons are for this network of for-profit detention centers isn't equipped to handle a rapist or murderer that you don't have real police officers inside those detention facilities you might have a couple of ICE agents and some rent-a-cops this network of for-profit detention centers who do they house babies women children most of them by the way are documented Trump just changed the rules on them Trump decided to throw people of color out because they're waiting for their immigration or asylum hearings they're all documented there are you've got about three million who are just waiting two five years for an immigration hearing and Trump is just saying throw them out they're people of color or we need to fill these beds for Geo Group and Core Civic because they're my biggest donors but I can assure you these are not violent criminals ICE and the for-profit detention facilities are not equipped to handle dangerous criminals because the guards and the ICE agents themselves are dangerous criminals you're listening to the mop-up how are we doing on time I felt physically intimidated but he never hit only shoved her so so you got a candidate who is calling for universal health care universal child care wants to defund ICE fight climate change he's a veteran who served wants to spend far less on the military industrial complex and more on people you can't debate him on the issues have you seen him speak so you have to question his character you decide it's not up to me to decide whether or not these allegations are true I think I'm just Rhode Island Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse says the accusations against Plattner seem like a lot of nothing
