Trump leaves Meet The Press interview when asked for proof of stolen elections

[0:00] crooked press people like stupid Biden he's not smart enough to know what's [0:04] going on but people that surrounded him surrounded his beautiful resolute desk [0:09] in the Oval Office what they did to the lives of people they destroyed people [0:14] they sent people to jail who did nothing just it just to be very clear there's no [0:19] evidence of what you're saying but listen to me listen to me let's talk [0:25] this tremendous evidence there's nothing but the election was rigged it was a [0:30] dirty election it's happening again right now in California right now it's [0:39] looking look at what's happening to that it's doing well in California it's no [0:45] they're not there they're dropping fast because it's a rigged election let me [0:48] tell you it's four days and they aren't even close to coming up you know why [0:54] they're doing that because they're cheating on the election there's what [0:57] do you have evidence to support all I have to do is look all I have to do is [1:01] not listen and I listen to people and let's see what happens sir that's not [1:05] evident you think it's appropriate that they have an election and five days [1:12] later they're nowhere close to picking local officials acknowledge they are [1:16] slow they're urging no they're crooked they're urging the votes to be counted [1:20] quickly that's how they look it's just like you're crooked your press is crooked and [1:24] meet the press is crooked to be fair I'm not crooked but let's really well you [1:27] play right into their hands let's continue you're either crooked or you're [1:30] stupid let's you play right into their hands with this crap you know that these [1:35] elections are rigged your network knows that they're rigged you know that I won [1:41] an election in a landslide and I got 94% bad press but Mr. President you know why I [1:47] got that presented because you have no credibility but you've never presented [1:50] evidence that it was rigged let's keep talking about I want to talk about Todd [1:53] you have more evidence there's more evidence than ever presented let's talk [1:58] about elections in this country we're like a third world country so your [2:02] elections are crooked and you're crooked and meet the press is crooked and so is [2:07] ABC and CBS and CNN but Mr. President you're one-sided crooked networks right let's [2:13] call it quits because I've had enough thank you darling have a good time [2:16] Mr. President let's please I traveled all the way to Wisconsin I've sat in the rain [2:21] with you I know I've sat in the rain with you for an hour on and off in the rain and I've [2:26] given you enough time you ought to straighten out your press because you [2:29] know what Mr. President a country can never be great travel with a dishonest [2:33] listen we traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview [2:36] that was Trump storming out of an interview with meet the press's Kristen Welker [2:40] after he got visibly frustrated over being posed with the same question that he was [2:45] incapable of answering where is the proof of election fraud that Trump is so [2:49] insistent on claiming that there isn't widespread fraud [3:28] in California or anywhere in this country but that's not the point this is [3:32] Trump yet again laying the foundation to claim that any results where he or [3:36] Republicans don't win is somehow illegitimate when Republicans engage in [3:40] election denialism to have plausible deniability for their base to believe [3:44] them they need to pretend that this is some rampant recurring ongoing theme it's [3:49] not but they know that if they can repeat it enough it'll still sound true to the [3:53] people who believe them take it from his own former press secretary Donald Trump [3:57] lives in his own reality and he lies casually but he's very very good at it he [4:03] used to teach me Stephanie as long as you keep repeating something it doesn't [4:07] matter what you say and I will bring us back to 2019 when Hurricane Dorian was [4:12] coming and Donald Trump wrote on a map that it was going to hit a part of the [4:16] country that it wasn't going to really hit even after being briefed by the [4:20] National Weather Service so this is something he's done over and over and [4:23] over and I really hope that people will understand that this is just what he [4:28] does it is just what he does and in fact the point here is to give a [4:32] permission structure to other Trump mouthpieces to do the exact same thing [4:36] case in point my debate with the former DHS spokeswoman just days ago on CNN do [4:41] you think Katie that some of the president's language on this is [4:44] irresponsible and creates a distrust in the system and actually hurts [4:49] Republicans and may stop them from voting I absolutely don't I absolutely [4:53] agree that this needs to be looked at look I went to go vote and that's by who [4:58] this needs to be looked at and ensured that the system is secure you don't [5:02] think it's you think it's not irresponsible for the president of the [5:05] United States the person with the biggest megaphone in pretty much in the [5:08] world to say that there is voter fraud happening in California with no evidence [5:13] to actually back up what he's saying I don't I think there's evidence and I [5:16] don't think it's irresponsible but what evidence do you have I've named some and [5:20] I'm sure that voter rolls haven't been cleaned up but that's not the same as [5:22] widespread voter fraud if you are not regulating who's going to the ballot box [5:26] you are going to inherently get unfair unfair demographic look Democrats by [5:31] and large surge Ramon has come up a ton in these last ballot because those are [5:36] mail-in ballots and those are disproportionately and [5:39] overwhelmingly used by Democrat voters because Donald a lot of Republicans [5:42] started no the reality is Donald Trump has denigrated mail-in voting and so [5:47] that's why Democrats are more likely to use it than Republicans he reversed course [5:50] and it's a big part of why he won in 2024 is because he said vote early I mean he [5:55] understood that this was an important he still raises questions about mail-in [5:59] ballots all the time the point is not to prove fraud the point is just to yell [6:07] fraud enough that people start to believe it despite the glaring lack of any [6:11] proof in fact there has never been proof aside from the examples that I laid out [6:15] on CNN consider the origin of the big lie itself that the 2020 election was [6:20] stolen the issue is litigated in over 65 cases in court Trump didn't win any [6:26] including in front of his own judges who he himself appointed so either this is a [6:31] conspiracy theory so vast that even MAGA judges are in on it or there has never [6:36] been any there there and it was always just an excuse to try and do the exact [6:40] thing that Trump is pretending to be fighting against which is rigging elections [6:45] and I just gotta say Donald Trump wouldn't have to lie like this if he and his party [6:49] were able to win on the merits but they can't because the whole country knows that [6:53] he and his party are frauds they heard him swear up and down that he would focus on [6:58] bringing prices down avoiding foreign wars releasing the Epstein files ushering in a [7:03] golden age instead Trump has cut health care cut food assistance surge prices on [7:08] everything sent gas to its highest point in years launched a new billion dollar war in [7:12] the Middle East covered up the Epstein files and made himself himself four billion dollars [7:18] richer Americans might have fallen for it once but we are not falling for it again the [7:23] reality is that he will keep spreading these lies about election fraud because he thinks [7:27] his audience is just that stupid and just that gullible our job is to push back to demand [7:32] proof demand it over and over and over again demand one modicum of it they won't be able [7:38] to give it because it doesn't exist and the more these people can be exposed for the liars [7:43] and the cheats that they are the less of an impact that that'll have [7:46] here we go I'm very excited to announce that I've written a new book titled the day
