[0:00] Donald Trump just finished up a disastrous press conference in the Oval Office. He was crashing [0:04] out and the feed cut out as he seemed to be saying that I could use a shit right now. [0:12] Here, play this clip. [0:18] I'm not sure what's going on medically right there, but he did seem to say I could use a shit. Now, [0:23] he continued to crash out in the Oval Office when talking about the catastrophic war in Iran. I [0:28] guess the purpose of this press conference was supposed to be to talk about reducing [0:32] prescription drug prices, but then he started talking about the war in Iran, his catastrophic [0:37] and unlawful war in Iran. Then Donald Trump started saying, I deserve so much credit. I saved [0:43] eight young women, beautiful young women. I saved the young women. As he's covering up the Epstein [0:51] files, he's created a fictitious story where he believes he saved eight young girls [0:58] in Iran and that he deserves credit for that. Here, play this clip. [1:03] Or the military operation, whatever you want to call it. And they're coming to us. The problem [1:09] they have is they are very disorganized right now. Well, now yesterday, and I was very pleased with [1:16] this, eight young women were going to be executed yesterday afternoon at six o'clock. And I asked them, [1:25] call it a favor or call it just a moral request that they not be executed. And they came back with [1:30] an answer that they won't be executing. They're going to release. It was protesting eight beautiful [1:36] young women, very young women. And they were the pictures in the paper. And it's been a story for a [1:42] little while. And I saw that. And I said, let's see if we can save them. And they were it was very [1:48] nice what happened. So they're not going to be there. What they're doing is, as you know, they're [1:52] releasing four of them very shortly. And they're going to keep four of them in jail for a period of one [1:57] month and release them. So they won't be executed. Yeah. And then Donald Trump is asked, so how much [2:03] longer are you going to wait? How long is this war going to take? Trump's like, Vietnam lasted 18 [2:08] years. Be quiet. Donald, you draft, you dodged the draft five separate times and made up that you had [2:14] bones first. But here's what he says. Play this clip. [2:17] Well, don't rush me. Don't rush me, Jeff. You know, guys like you, you want to say, oh, so we were in [2:28] Vietnam like for 18 years. We were in Iraq for many, many years. We were in for all the I don't like to [2:35] say World War Two because that was a biggie. But we were four and a half, almost five years in World War [2:40] Two. We were in the Korean War for seven years. I've been doing this for six weeks. And we're the [2:48] military is totally defeated. They're they're outside of the little Wiseguy ships. I call them [2:55] the Wiseguy ships, the little boats that they have running around with guns in them. We'll take them [3:01] out, too, when we see them. But so there are more questions like give us a timeline, man. Give us a [3:07] time. He's like, it's only been five point five weeks. He just like makes up times. And a reporter's [3:12] like, no, it's actually been two months. And you said it would last four to six weeks. And so now it [3:17] seems like it's never going to end. And he's like, what a disgraceful question you're asking [3:21] here. Play this clip. We have no pressure. It's only guys like you with a question like that about [3:25] what's your time? We've been doing it for five and a half weeks. [3:28] But sir, it's been eight weeks that the U.S. now has been involved with Iran. [3:33] You had initially said it would be four to six weeks. Well, I hope that. But I also took a little [3:37] break. I gave them a break. And then Donald Trump's like, look, if we ended the war right now, [3:42] it would be a tremendous success already. Think about we control the straight of her moves. [3:47] You don't. You're delusional. You're literally a psychotic human. We do not control the straight [3:52] of her moves. What the hell are you talking about? Play this clip. [3:54] I'm a break. And remember this. I want to make the best deal. I could make a deal right now. [4:01] Do you know that if I left right now, we had a tremendous success. It would take them 20 years [4:06] to rebuild. But I don't want to do that. I want to have it everlasting. I want to have it [4:10] where they never get they never have a chance to get it. I mean, the way you asked that question, [4:15] I did say it. I thought it would take four to six weeks. And I was right, because at the end of six [4:21] weeks, at the end of four weeks, the military was decimated. But now what I'm doing, I don't I can't [4:27] tell you that I don't want to put that kind of a timetable on it, but it'll go pretty quickly. [4:32] And we'll have the straight opened up. Now, right now, we have a close. We have total control of the [4:39] straight. And the fact that it slows, you know, they would have opened it up three days ago. [4:42] They came to us and they said, we will agree to open the straight. And all my people are happy. [4:48] Everybody was happy except me. I said, wait a minute. If we open the straight, that means [4:51] they're going to make five hundred million dollars a day. I don't want them to make five hundred [4:55] million dollars a day until they settle this thing. So I'm the one that kept it closed. We have total [5:00] control of it. And it'll open when they make a deal or something else happens. It's very positive. [5:07] And then he talks about Martin Luther King and how he gets more people in his crowd than [5:13] Martin Luther King got in, in, in the led by the Lincoln Memorial, by the reflecting pool. [5:19] Here, play this clip. [5:19] And you'll see the ramp, too. We're keeping the ramp. And that was for FDR. He needed a ramp, [5:26] some people would know. And in his honor, we're leaving it. I wanted to leave it. It means [5:31] something. The other thing that we're doing that's taking place right now is the Lincoln Memorial [5:37] has a beautiful reflecting pond or lake. They call it a pool lake and pond. All of it is different, [5:45] but the word reflecting is a good term. It was built in 1922 and it was built out of granite [5:53] and various stones on the bottom. And they did never look great because it's not really meant [5:59] to be a stone that's underwater for that much of a period of time. It's about a foot and a half to two [6:04] feet deep. You all know it. Well, that's where Martin Luther King gave his great speech and he [6:10] had a million people. And I had the same exact crowd, maybe a little bit more, but they said [6:15] I had 25,000 people in July 4th. I have pictures of Martin Luther King's crowd, my crowds, the exact [6:21] same, everything, but it was 70 years difference. The exact same crowd, but I actually had more [6:27] people, but that's okay. They gave him, they gave him a million people. They said a million people [6:33] and I had 25,000 people. So, but these are the things that we had on July 4th, a few years ago, [6:41] first term. So you have this reflecting lake pond. I mean, completely outrageous. And then he starts [6:49] talking about the prescription drug prices and how his name is on, how his name is now going to be on [6:54] all the drugs that are backed by the government and they're going to call it Trump drugs. Dudes, [6:59] what are you talking about? Let's play this clip. I didn't put the name Bobby did and Oz did. [7:05] It's true, actually. Remember I came in, I said, what's this? It'll be better. It'll sell better. [7:12] Would you help us? So I now have my name on medication. And no one really cares about that. [7:19] No one cares about golden ballrooms. Nobody cares about triumphal arches. No one cares about [7:24] club Rose garden or you getting Qatari jets or, and what we really care about is what are you doing [7:31] for Americans right now who are suffering and struggling and who can't afford anything. [7:35] And so what he does though, is cause he's been a con artist his whole life. He just starts making [7:40] up numbers again. And he's like, well, we secure gigantic discounts, 600% discounts. Stupid. Stop [7:47] saying stupid things, man. 600% discounts that the pharmaceutical companies aren't paying people. [7:52] Just stop, stop. Here, play the clip. They're part to bring down the cost of healthcare for all [7:57] Americans under our most favorite nation's agreement. We've secured gigantic discounts [8:02] with price differences from four to five and even 600%, 600%. Yeah, that's not a real thing. It can't [8:11] go down that much. Just please, just people aren't dumb. Just speak to people like a normal grownup. [8:17] Like, can we start with that baseline? But then you have RFK Jr. He chimes in and he's like, [8:23] oh, one of the Democrats thought they were being all smart. And they're like, you can't reduce [8:27] something by 600%. And I'm like, you don't know the way we do percentages here in the Oval Office. [8:32] Here, play this clip. [8:33] So Bobby, please. Thank you. [8:36] Thank you, Mr. President. I was reminded when the president was speaking of a conversation that I [8:42] had yesterday with one of the Democratic senators who was questioning me during the hearing. And [8:48] she was ridiculing President Trump for his math. And she was saying, it's mathematically impossible [8:54] to have a drug drop by 600% cost, which he had claimed. And I said, well, if the drug was $100 [9:02] and it raised the price to $600, that would be a 600% rise. Well, if it drops from 600 to 100, [9:10] that's a 600% savings. How are these? How is this even real? How is this not idiocracy? It is. It's [9:17] just real. And people are really suffering from these idiots. Then you had Howard Lutnick today [9:22] testifying that he's only sold one of these Trump gold cards. You know what he previously promised [9:28] he was going to sell? Remember, he was going on all the right wing podcasts. Here's what he said. [9:32] Let's play it. By the way, yesterday I sold a thousand. Oh, you did? I got a poly market I created [9:38] on how many of you guys are going to sell this year. And how many people do you think there are [9:41] that could qualify in the world? There are 37 million people in the world who are capable of [9:45] buying the card. In case you were wondering. 37 million. That's a lot more than Chad GPT told [9:51] me. Who are capable of buying it. Who are capable of buying it. Now, I'm not saying they will, [9:55] but they're capable of buying it. How many do you think you'll sell? The president thinks we can [9:58] sell a million. So five trillion. That's five trillion. The stupidest stuff in the world. They've sold [10:03] one thus far. And I'm not even sure if that's true, but he said under oath one. Then you have [10:08] Jameson Greer, Donald Trump's trade representative testifying. Watch as he was cross-examined by [10:13] Democratic Congress member Swazi. Let's play it. Are tariffs increasing prices for the American [10:18] consumer? So, so I'm going to say no. Have you ever heard the expression that businesses crave [10:24] predictability? Sure. We've heard about that. Would you agree that there's been some instability [10:29] and volatility caused by the trade policy of this country? We saw some volatility last year. [10:33] So you disagree with this statement from the tax foundation that these tariffs are causing costs [10:38] to go up a thousand dollars per household. You disagree with that? I do disagree with that. [10:41] And you disagree with the statement from the Yale budget lab that this is costing each household [10:45] $2,400? I do disagree. On an annual basis? How about from Moody's investment services? These [10:50] tariffs are raising inflation and the cost of living. Do you disagree with that? I do disagree. [10:55] And you disagree with the fact that Moody's also says this reduces jobs and reduces the strength [11:01] of our economy. We have, we are the strongest economy in the G7. [11:05] The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the tax foundation, these are conservative institutions that are saying [11:10] that these are costing consumers $1,000 a year, $2,400 a year, $4,200 a year. So you disagree with [11:17] all that? Do you disagree with Neil Bradley from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce who says that these [11:21] tariffs have caused significant cost increases? There's a bunch of ridiculous people. I want to bring [11:26] in Democratic Congress member Tom Swasey, who you saw do that cross-examination right there. [11:31] Congress member Swasey, it's good to see you. And, you know, with all of Donald Trump's distractions [11:36] and fake deadlines and not meeting the deadlines, you know, I think that the media often is covered [11:43] on that. But, you know, people in your district and throughout the country right now, I mean, [11:47] they're psyched. This is how they describe it to me. I'm psychologically tortured, living paycheck [11:52] to paycheck right now, and things are only getting worse. And so you saw there with your [11:56] cross-examination of Jameson Greer, they're living in this Mar-a-Lago fantasy Bernie Madoff [12:02] fraud world. Can you talk to us about it, Congressman? Yeah, I think this is catching up [12:06] with them. You know, when the president says affordability is a hoax and his team of people [12:11] like Ambassador Greer, as well as the Republicans running for office, going along with that, they're [12:18] going to have to pay for that in November, because the biggest issue for Americans today [12:22] is affordability. And there are specific policies of this administration that are making things [12:28] more expensive. They're not even, like, debatable. Tariffs are making things more expensive. [12:33] The war is making gas prices more expensive. The big, beautiful bill caused the biggest deficit [12:40] in the history of the United States of America. That's upward pressure on interest rates. It's [12:44] keeping interest rates high. You can't buy a house. You can't lease a car because the interest rates [12:49] are so high. Energy costs are going up because they cut all the green energy supply at a time [12:55] there's increasing demand because of all these data centers. For 20 years, energy demand was flat. [13:00] And now, for the first time in 20 years, it's going up because of the data centers. And they're [13:03] cutting supply by not doing all of the above, by cutting the green energy projects. And there's so much [13:09] more that goes into this as well. Things that are all causing upward, even though the immigration [13:14] policy has reduced the size of the workforce, and it's causing upward pressure on the costs in [13:19] America. And they're saying it's a hoax. They're not even focusing on it. And they're talking about [13:23] everything else. And what I've always said, and I'll stop talking, the president's like a pickpocket. [13:29] And what do pickpockets do? One guy bumps into you. And when you're bumped into and you're distracted, [13:33] the other guy picks your pocket. So he'll talk about crazy stuff. Health insurance rates are [13:39] going through the roof. And we were trying to deal with the premium tax credit issue and the [13:44] cuts of Medicaid. And what did he make the issue? Venezuela and Greenland. He tries to change the [13:50] topic by attacking the Pope or by, you know, we're going to wipe out a civilization just so we don't [13:55] talk about the real issues that are affecting real people's lives. You know, it's a tactic used by [14:01] con artists, right? I mean, at some point, the Ponzi scheme runs its course and people say, [14:07] you know what? I want my deposits back, Bernie Madoff. And what do they say? Just give me two [14:12] weeks. We've got a great plan. Give me two weeks. Give me two weeks. And now we're in this two week [14:19] Donald Trump failure loop, which frankly, you from New York, you've seen the Trump failure loop play [14:27] out your entire life, whether it was failed businesses in Atlantic City or nearby. It's this [14:34] loop where adults and grownups who confront problems have some humility. Look, we all fail [14:39] in life sometimes, but you recognize the problem. You try to address it. You bring in experts. You [14:45] deal with it. You try to progress. Maybe you failed, but you learn from your mistakes. He does [14:50] this two week loop where he just delays, delays, delays, denies. And he turns a bad problem into a [14:55] worse, a worse into a catastrophic, a catastrophic into a bankrupt. And I just feel that's where we're being [15:01] brought now into the abyss with everything he's doing now with this catastrophic war and everything [15:06] he's doing at home. It's just a delay, delay, delay. And then I think he wants to dunk it on [15:12] when a democratic president comes into power. And then the magas are all like, we're fiscal hawks. [15:17] Look what you do. Oh my gosh. [15:18] We'll have to fix it. Right? [15:19] Yeah. It's delay, delay, delay, distract, distract, distract. And I think it's finally catching up with [15:24] them. I mean, it's really, I mean, it was kind of funny watching the whole thing about the 600% [15:30] decrease. If you cut the drug price from 600 to 100, which they haven't really even done, that means [15:36] you're cutting it by $500. $500 divided by $600 is 83%. It's not 600%. I mean, it's my math thing. I'm a CPA. [15:44] So these guys are really just bamboozling people. And I think the public is catching up with it. [15:51] And you can go in a hearing and you can say, these tariffs are not increasing prices. But then when [15:59] people walk into the supermarket and they're buying things, they're like, oh my gosh, what's [16:04] happening? When people go to the gas station and they see the gas prices, they're like, oh my gosh. [16:10] Biden had a little bit of this problem as well when they were talking about the stock market's doing [16:14] well. We're recovering quite a bit. We're creating a lot of new jobs. But people saw what was happening [16:19] to the economy. And it's worse now than it was then. And they're just ignoring it. [16:25] When he, he literally says on multiple occasions, this affordability issue is just a word. It's a [16:31] hoax. And people's real lives, they're, they, they feel disrespected and they feel like nobody's [16:38] hearing them. And the problem is for both sides, Democrats and Republicans is everybody's just [16:43] pointing fingers at each other. You're no good. You're no good. And the people are out there and [16:47] they're like, what about me? What are you doing for me? So we have to make sure that we are showing [16:53] people that we have to have a rational tariff policy. Let's go after our strategic adversaries [16:59] like China. That's okay. But don't treat our friends like Canada and Europe the same as we [17:04] treat our adversaries. Can we try and negotiate better deals? Yeah, that's, I'm all for that. [17:08] But let's not treat them like they're, they're, they're our adversaries. These are our, our allies [17:14] over long periods of time and a very important part of our economy and our lives here. So we have [17:20] to have some rationality. We, you say all the above during the campaign and then you say, no, [17:25] it's just oil and gas we want. Okay. You want to do oil, gas, you want to do natural gas. Fine. [17:29] We just shouldn't do as much. Climate change is real, but let's do solar and wind. They canceled [17:33] projects that were 80% complete. Wind projects were 80% completely trying to cancel them. And then the [17:40] court ruled against them. The court ruled against them on the tariffs that what they were doing is [17:43] illegal. They, they, they cut the premium tax credits, came so close to fixing it in the [17:48] Congress. And then the Senate bailed on us. So we have so much to do. Uh, but the first thing we have [17:54] to do is recognize that people are suffering. I heard someone say the other day, you know, [17:58] because of all these economic problems, people have to delay the purchase of a home and delay the [18:04] leasing of a car, which is bad. That's not bad. But you know what? There are people who can't, [18:08] can't pay their rent. They can't pay their basic bills. It's not even by buying a house or, or, [18:15] or, or leasing a car, which, you know, that's important too. But some people are just suffering [18:19] paycheck to paycheck. And the first thing we have to do is recognize that we, you know, [18:23] Bill Clinton was famous for, I feel your pain. We have to show people that we understand that they [18:28] are suffering and that we care and that we will work hard to try and solve those problems. And enough [18:34] are just the distractions and the pickpockets. Uh, your congressional district, uh, is mixed. [18:41] I mean, you, you won your district, but Trump got more votes than Kamala in your district. [18:47] 19,000 votes. He won my district by. Yeah. Yeah. You, uh, are you seeing, like we see in the [18:53] national numbers, these shifts, you know, Trump's approval now at 33% on the economy, 30%. [18:59] Are you seeing like when you go around to, you know, the, the different spots that you go to over [19:05] there, are you seeing? There are people, there are people that voted for Trump that are having [19:09] buyer's remorse. And there's a reason that they're raising this enormous amount of money. Uh, because, [19:16] and there's reason that they started the whole thing with the redistricting in Texas, because [19:20] Trump's going to do everything he can to defy history, which is that the sitting president often [19:27] loses his party off and loses in the midterms. And so he wants to do everything he can to change [19:32] that. He's going to cheat like the redistricting in Texas that started this whole redistricting war. [19:37] Uh, and you know, uh, Hakeem Jeffries and others have fought back and won these fights. Uh, he's [19:44] raising this enormous, crazy amounts of money. The Republicans just have way more money than the [19:49] Democrats do. Uh, and he's going to try all this distraction maneuvers. Uh, and he's going to try and [19:56] make it so that he depresses turnout. So everybody's mad at everybody. They're mad at all the politicians [20:01] and they're discouraged and they're, they're disengaged so they don't participate. So the [20:05] most important thing we need people to do is show up and to pay attention and to get out and vote and [20:10] say, we want our country back. And we want to address the very real issues that we face. We want to [20:15] address the affordability. We want to have a real fix for immigration. We need to address the healthcare [20:22] costs in our country. And we have to deal with this crazy war, uh, in Iran right now. You know, [20:28] when the, when the war first happened in Iran, I was like, you know, you know, cause I was, I was born in, [20:32] uh, 1962. I was 18 years old. My first vote was 1980 during the Iran hostage crisis. And when we first [20:38] attacked Iran, I was like, you know, let's get those guys. They've been treating us death to America and all [20:43] this bad stuff. They're supporting the Hamas and the Hufis and Hezbollah all these years. We got to get those [20:47] guys. Then we went to the briefing and I was like, wait a minute. This really doesn't seem to be a [20:51] plan here. There's no plan. Then we heard about the Straits of Hormuz and we saw the whole gas price [20:55] thing. We're like, wouldn't you think that that's like one of the most basic things you would have [20:59] thought of ahead of time before you, there's a reason they've been doing all this bad stuff for 47 [21:03] years and nobody ever attacked them before because there's a lot of consequences, but they're, [21:07] they're acting off of instinct and they think they can just, you know, bluff their way through this [21:11] stuff. This is serious life and death business. Uh, and we have to get serious people who are [21:16] willing to work together to solve problems. Congressman Swazi, thanks for joining us. [21:21] Thanks, man. Everybody hit subscribe. Let's get to 7 million subscribers.
