"all right we're still here at Toy Fair behind me is the Bandai booth where you're gonna find all of your sh figuarts you're gonna find all your all your amazing anime stuff all your gun stuff all your samurai stuff all your gunpla stuff this is where it's at so let's take a quick look through here..."

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: all right we're still here at Toy Fair behind me is the Bandai booth where you're gonna find all of your sh figuarts you're gonna find all your all your amazing anime stuff all your gun stuff all your samurai stuff all your gunpla stuff this is where it's at so let's take a quick look through here let's see all the cool stuff they have to offer and it's coming up this year I'm so psyched to see the figuarts figure I really want to see the Captain Ginyu I want that in my hands please request that I unbox a Captain Ginyu please all right so here we have a new line in the figure rise section of Bandai these are entry grade levels so these your six-year-old kid can do as you can see it's ages six plus I almost knocked down the statue I mean the whole thing they got some Pokemon in here which is gonna be awesome for kids and if anytime you can get a kid into building something I think that's a great jump into this whole build your own action figure situation and as you can see you don't need any tools to do these these are gonna be awesome these are gonna be hitting the shelves soon hopefully because these need to get out there look at that look at that Pikachu that's gonna look beautiful and you build it yourself there's nothing better than that so it's less parts than a regular figure rise would be and it's obviously a much cheaper price match because it's just it's it's a section it's a section but you're building your own section so there's nothing better than building your own figure it's gonna be great let's see some more Bandai stuff oh Richard has a quick interruption look what am I I'm every anime ever close close he's not a hundred percent wrong so my favorite line from Bandai is sh figure arts and my favorite license from sh figure arts is Dragon Ball Z I love these figures I own a whole bunch of them I love unboxing them they're so intricately designed and perfectly articulated you can get any pose that you can think of from your own imagination or from this or from the manga or the anime so that Vegeta is an exclusive and it's only available at premium Bandai so search on that one ultra instinct Goku is looking perfect they've really they tightened up the Goku design in the last couple of years and they really did a good job of capturing his every essence and now we're gonna move over to what is gonna be one of my favorite figures ever it's Captain Ginyu and the posability on that figure of course is gonna be perfect because Captain Ginyu himself is a very pose friendly person you know he loves his poses and that big that figure looks amazing the detail in his skull and his veins it's it's off the hook but there's something even crazier coming from figure arts very soon and we're gonna see that in a second this is the Vegeta great ape this figure looks amazing so this is Vegeta in his in his Uzaru monkey form and you can't beat this all the normal level of detail and articulation and figure arts figure is here in this giant figure this is the biggest figure arts figure I've ever seen it's probably the biggest one they've ever made it even comes with Goku holding being held in hands it's perfect I love it I really want this on my shelf again please request that I get to unbox both Ginyu and this Vegeta I can't wait I can't wait for this to be available I'm going to pick this up in the next month immediately all right so we're still here at the Bandai booth we're here with Ernie and we now are at the Star Wars section of the Bandai booth so these here are figurized 112 scale plastic model kits again you build them yourself there's nothing better than an action figure that you've built yourself and these are some beautiful looking figures they're actually fully poseable action figures that you have to put together yourself it all snaps together no glue required [00:04:26] Speaker 2: um and they come out looking uh just as good I think as a black series figure you know you got Boba Fett here and a couple of stormtroopers Kylo Ren Darth Vader the C-3PO looks particularly nice it's a really really shiny yeah uh nice plastic on that and they're just they're really cool [00:04:45] Speaker 1: still in the Bandai booth these are now the Mayshow movie realizations where they take a classic Star Wars character and they give it a samurai look look at this Ackbar [00:04:55] Speaker 2: this Ackbar in the front is terrific and if you look closely at it the the Mon Calamari head of the character is actually a mask on top of this guy in the figure it's very very very cool even the hands the oversized hands that were part of the character from the movie are some sort of gauntlet now over the hand uh of the uh the figure who's wearing the armor it's very very cool this is the most creative of this line that I've seen [00:05:21] Speaker 1: yeah because again they've they've put his design into his samurai armor which is amazing that that's beautiful [00:05:29] Speaker 2: yeah I mean the the whole line in general is really really great uh and this is no exception [00:05:36] Speaker 1: not at all these are beautiful all right so we got more plastic model kits and of course with Star Wars no Star Wars line is complete without some amazing vehicles and again with plastic model kits you're building it yourself so you've got nobody to blame but yourself if something goes wrong and they you you can you can do whatever you need to do to them after the fact there's all this weathering that you can do with all this painting and stuff Ernie was pointing out how beautiful it really is [00:06:02] Speaker 2: so so they're they're really nice and like you said you put them together the only thing is that all of this detail on here all of this ink wash uh if you want to put that on you got to put it on yourself most of the plastic comes already colored but if you want to give it certain like blast marks or scorch area like you got here on the Millennium Falcon that's all up to you where you want to customize it so uh some people some people might really like that other people might say you know I wish it looked that detail after I put it together but either way they're pretty great [00:06:33] Speaker 1: and you're making it your own whether you put it together or whether you add that weathering on there you did that and you know you've you've got a beautiful piece of Star Wars history right there all right so that's the Bandai booth there's plenty more here to see and we've got so much more coming up from Toy Fair stay with us
