has one that's my mate all right ready three two one you [00:00:42] Speaker 4: so i'm boxing up orders uh just for this is the regular daily overnight stuff that comes in so it's one of the first things i do in the morning is pull the overnight orders and then box them up and you know it's not it's not rocket science but we do you know it is a really important thing because we want to be very careful to pack it in the box that it that it'll fit in and that sounds like you know a third grade job but if you understand how the stuff nests together best it's not just so it's the smallest box so the shipping is lowest but it's also to make sure the product gets to the fans in the best possible shape so if you could actually nest the product a smaller box in with a bigger box it'll actually protect both of them on the way and so it's a big part of what we do but it's something you know i don't think anybody thinks about right you place an order and it shows up well there's actually a anyone's done 12 inch turtles like hot toys mondo level 12 inch turtles i'm not saying that's what i want to do i'm just saying like think of a shredder that big now neca did the quarter scale stuff but they just scaled up their six inch figures i'd want to take a direction sort of like this i don't want to be beholden to a specific look like the o3 stuff it was similar to the 80s stuff but it was it was a little edgier it had just a little bit now you don't have to go and egregiously change the look of something you can just slightly tweak it and you got something new like this is slightly tweaked and it looks awesome um so yeah i don't know what i would want out of a turtles line it's turtles you know it's gonna sell it would be pretty epic to get a turtles license and that's what i'm locked up yeah but not contracts are based on scale so like marvel i know but i thought mattel like doesn't let go of their stuff um oh that's right because they own it um but you could like make a because the body comes off but if super seven knew what they were doing i could show them how to make ball joints for arms when you don't have the room inside the torso it's very easy guys it's very the skin it's too shiny it's too glossy like i know he was an android but he was like an android covered in skin so you could have put a ys texture on there to tone it down um but no they left it really ys ys is yiksang yiksang books it's just these binders full of swatches of texture different textures that you could photo etch onto the mold so if something's too glossy you do like a matte finish they photo etch the texture onto the mold to make it a matte finish and they're virtually free they cost like a couple pennies but you know look at the arms and the head and the chest and the chest the chest isn't even the same color as that arm but it's like that chest is so glossy it's like you could have you could have done that but i guarantee you guarantee you that there is not one designer or anybody in that whole entire building of super 7 that knows what the ys texture book is or has one they'll know because of this video but they will not have known prior to this just like designers at hasbro they don't know what ys texture books are either it was kind of like a thing of the past but it's still very relevant but it it could make or break your item because you do a ys texture can make it feel more premium because of the finish on it but instead no let's just make you know this really glossy and cheap looking the crank is nice though there i said something nice about it the secret of the ooze set which i don't have you don't have it no get it it's it's a little different like the color like i love them they look good are they that much different than the figures figures don't usually have butterfly joints because you can't make the arm come out of the butterfly joint [00:12:37] Speaker 3: um so it's usually bigger guys so the articulation is a little more basic for bigger guys [00:12:47] Speaker 4: we're only running one half of of max capacities here because this table is duplicated on the other side so when we know it's going to be big a new drop or a new series or something like that bobby has some some uh tried and tested guys who will come in to help out who's been here a lot longer than i have and everybody's no one aspect of it is rocket science compared to the rest but everybody's better at some things than others so basically we just get set up where we're best and we have basically usually there's one guy who's cutting open boxes and making sure we're not out of anything in the room then we have two guys who are actually pulling the items needed for an order and we have two guys who are boxing and then one or two up here at the computer where they're actually doing the the printing and the shipping and then uh one of those two is usually the ones moving it off to the loading dock so we can run what's that one two three four we can run seven strong when we know it's going to be a monster and that's usually a weekend kind of thing so uh is it an eight to five job usually but uh there also are a handful of weekends during the year where you just know it's gonna be a big weekend and there are worse problems to have than hundreds and hundreds of orders to fill but usually that's hardly ever a surprise that's usually based on what just came out [00:14:14] Speaker 3: they're interesting um i definitely think they're they're very cool like i like that they made them you know i was just talking about glossy figures but the fact that they made them glossy is kind of cool and you know it comes with the the hologram and that's a really well done hologram i think these are cool i think did you buy them i didn't buy them um that's surprising because you love that line and you like those yeah but it's it's not like i see and it's like oh man i need that like no it's it's they're cool i just the wolverine is really good my marvel yeah the classic one yeah my marvel i don't really collect much marvel so it's you know black suit spider-man all right but no i i what i find really interesting is that you have a mattel line look in a hasbro package so it's like this original line was mattel's line and now hasbro is using the same exact line look and it's now hasbro that to [00:15:14] Speaker 4: me is like the cool part about it so we haven't had this before but it actually fits two full-size figures a little better so they're not i want to say rattling around because we don't let anything rattle around but usually you're stuffing it like crazy this guy over here is kind of our bread and butter but now this is perfect for three full-size figures so say a desert condor a desert steel brigade and a colonel siege these are perfect in here and you can nest smaller stuff weapons packs and upgrade packs in there too but that's kind of max capacity here but this guy's great for a single or a double so if you just have siege and sidewinder he'll go in the 12x9x4 so it's you know sometimes there's a little bit of a price break when you're shipping a smaller box uh but more of the advantage is you can fit more onto the cart fit more onto the pallet and so and anything that's that fits the product well you can say tightly because tightly is bad but anything that fits the product well is better for it all told uh shipping and damage because it's a worse thing when someone orders something pays for it you fulfill it and it gets there and it gets damaged all the way so we try to make sure when we package stuff up that there's no packaging damage that's our fault we take care of your toys you should be able to get them in presentable condition i thought i heard starfox
