She can’t BELIEVE how confused Trump is

[0:00] You have to see this. Fox host Maria Bartiromo had an eyebrow raising moment when Trump admitted [0:07] what we've all suspected, which is that come the November election, gas prices could be even higher [0:13] than they are today. But wait a second. I thought it was going to be three to four, maybe four to [0:19] six weeks in Iran and gas prices would briefly go up, but then they would come down very quickly. [0:25] But Trump is now admitting they may be higher in November. He seems disoriented in this interview [0:31] that he gave Maria Bartiromo right after he made the announcement that he will close the Strait of [0:36] Hormuz after fighting to have it open. Let's take a look. Donald Trump appearing with Maria Bartiromo [0:42] to mirror what he said on Truth Social. There is going to be a complete blockade on the Strait of [0:48] Hormuz. Iran will not be allowed to make money selling oil to people that they like. Here he [0:54] is explaining it all to Maria Bartiromo. But, Mr. President, you wrote on Truth Social this [1:00] morning saying that we will begin the process of blockading any and all ships trying to enter [1:06] or leave the Strait of Hormuz. And at some point, we will reach an all being allowed to go in and all [1:12] being allowed to go out basis. So tell us what you're trying to accomplish with this blockade, sir. [1:18] All out. Yep. It's called all in and all out. There'll be a time when we'll have them all come [1:22] in and all come out. But it won't be a percentage. It won't be a friend of yours, like a country that's [1:28] your ally or a country that's your friend. It's all or nothing. And that won't be in too long a [1:34] distance. No, we're just bringing the ships up. We've got a lot of ships, so we're bringing them up. [1:39] We think that numerous countries are going to be helping us with this also. But we're putting on a [1:43] complete blockade. We're not going to let Iran make money on selling oil to people that they [1:50] like and not people that they don't like or whatever it is. It's going to be all or none. [1:54] And that's the way it is. And it'll be you. So you saw what we did with Venezuela. [1:59] It'll be something very similar to that, but at a at a higher level. And this is going backwards now. [2:05] So far, so far, this is bad policy. It's a sort of normal interview, normal, abnormal for Trump's [2:14] standards. He is announcing policy that doesn't make sense. He spent weeks saying we're going to [2:19] get the straight opened. He spent one week saying the straight is open. And then he goes, Iran never [2:25] really opened it. And by the way, now I'm closing it. Not so totally bonkos, non compost mentis. [2:33] But for Trump's standards, it's still sort of like, all right, this is kind of the interview that he gives. [2:39] We continue. And Trump goes, hey, you know what? We don't really get our oil from there. [2:45] We have a ton of oil. Technically true. But blocking the Strait of Hormuz will blow up your [2:54] oil and gas prices and mine as well. Trump doesn't care about that. Take a listen to this. [2:59] Speaker 4. Mine, two mines, 10 mines. And that will, if you have a ship that costs a billion dollars, [3:04] you say, well, you know, I prefer not getting whacked by a mine, losing my ship or damaging it badly. [3:09] At least. And so that's a little bit of a thing that they could do that it's military might and [3:16] military power. Don't do it. But, you know, it's extortion and they're extorting the world. You [3:20] know, we don't get our oil from there. We have so much or we have. And one thing you said, [3:25] I don't know if anybody heard it well, but we have votes pouring up to the United States. [3:31] They'll be filling them up and they'll be leaving and they're going to be packed with the best, [3:35] the best oil you could get. Light, sweet, crude. They're going to have the best oil that you can [3:41] get. But so that's interesting. And it's great because we have a lot of oil. We don't get any. [3:47] I mean, literally last year it was one percent. We did that as a favor. We don't need the Strait. [3:52] But other countries do. And I will tell you while we're on the subject, we're very disappointed with [3:57] NATO. We're very, very disappointed that they didn't come. Now they want to come and they want to help [4:01] with the straight and it won't take long to clean it out. So we're going to clean out the straight [4:06] and they'll be able to use the straight and not too long a distance. If Trump cared about [4:12] what you pay for gas, he wouldn't say this and he wouldn't do this. That's extremely important to [4:20] understand when Trump decided to go into Iran. So he says he expected gas prices to be even higher than [4:29] they've gotten. What that means is that Trump was more than willing for you to sacrifice so that he [4:36] can do his war games. And what Trump is now acknowledging is he doesn't care if they go up [4:42] even more because, as Trump says, we don't get a lot of our oil from there. That's true. But what [4:48] he's not mentioning is that if you blockade a pathway for 20 percent of the world's oil, it is going to [4:54] drive global oil and gas prices up even more. So what that means is and now, as Trump is even saying [5:00] by the time of the election, they might still be elevated this summer, you'll pay even more for gas [5:06] than you already are because Trump is raising, blocking the Strait of Hormuz even come fall as people [5:13] who have oil based heating in their homes, which is still a lot of people as they start using that oil [5:19] and buying oil. You are potentially even by then going to be paying even more. And then the incredible [5:26] moment where Maria Bartiromo raises her eyebrows as Trump says gas may be even more, even more expensive [5:34] come election time. They all said we agree. So do you so do you believe the price of oil and gas will [5:40] be lower before the midterm elections? I hope so. I mean, I think so. It could be. It could be or the same [5:47] or maybe a little bit higher, but it should be around the same. I think this won't be that much [5:52] longer. They're wiped out. They're wiped out. And you don't get the you don't get a fair shake. You [5:57] don't get you know, we need we need a free and fair press in this country. And I don't even know why [6:03] people would do that. Why would they say how wonderful they're doing militarily? They're doing [6:08] so well. They're totally what the country is wiped out. We lost one airplane and we captured the two. [6:13] But they could be even higher in November. And look at Maria Bartiromo's face as he said it. [6:22] She realizes this is political suicide for Trump and for Republicans. Now, is it possible that Trump [6:28] has already conceded they're going to get crushed in November? They're going to lose the house. Just [6:33] forget it. Don't even fight for it. Try to get whatever limited victory he can get in Iran and [6:39] call it a success, even if gas prices will be higher. Maybe. But what's clear is he doesn't [6:44] give a damn about the average American and what you are going to pay, not the populist policy that [6:51] we were sold during the campaign. Trump saying you want to see a stock market go down. Well, [6:58] let Iran have nukes and let them use them. There's a little problem with this argument, [7:03] but let's take a look at the clip. Let's stop this this country from having a nuclear weapon. [7:07] You want to see a stock market go down? Let a couple of nuclear bombs be dropped on us or frankly, [7:13] anyplace else. And then you'll see a stock market that goes down. So the stock market has not gone [7:20] down very much at all. Got down a little bit, much less than I thought. And frankly, the gas hasn't [7:26] gone up as much as I thought. But regardless, even if it did, we have to stop this group [7:33] of people from having. And again, it was worse because Khomeini was a total radical, [7:40] I'll be nice, maniac. He was a maniac. And you can't let them have a nuclear weapon. So I just [7:47] have the greatest economy ever. Everything's going along. And I say, I'm sorry. I tell my economic [7:53] advisors and say, I'm sorry, fellas, we were in great shape. We have to go and take a little journey [8:00] down to Iran and we have to stop them from having a nuclear weapon. And they all said, [8:04] we agree. So the problem with this is they didn't have nuclear weapons. Or if you believe they did, [8:12] it would have been because Trump got out of the Iran nuclear deal in 2018. But if you believe they [8:18] did, Trump told us he destroyed them when he bombed Iran in June of 2025, except maybe he didn't. Or did [8:24] he or did they rebuild them? And so the point here is, sure, if Iran drops nukes on someone, [8:30] that would hurt the economy, that would hurt the stock market. We just don't have the evidence that [8:35] that's something they were capable of or going to do. I don't defend Iran's rhetoric about [8:42] destroying other countries. I don't support theocratic regimes, but I've got to go with the [8:46] facts and the facts don't point to that is something that was plausible or even likely. [8:51] Trump, by the way, mentions, oh, the election was rigged. [8:55] By the way. And Maria Bartiromo goes, yep. Even after she raised her eyebrows in horror at Trump [9:02] saying gas prices will be higher, she goes, yep, the election was rigged. Take a look. [9:05] Speaker 3 But under Biden, who was an incompetent president, [9:08] he was grossly incompetent. Look, the election was rigged. You know that. I know that. Everybody [9:13] knows that now. And it's all come out and it's coming out. But under Biden, if you take a look at [9:19] what happened when he when he was president, that's a war that would have never happened. Russia attacking [9:24] Ukraine. Yeah. And I ended. I ended eight wars, including Pakistan. It was so rigged [9:31] that Fox had to pay nearly eight hundred million dollars in fines for allowing that message to go [9:41] out on their airwaves. That's how rigged it was. This guy can't do it anymore. And we need to be [9:49] serious about what needs to happen, even if Republicans aren't willing to do what needs to be done.
