I use the Sunday sessions as an opportunity to kind of examine what do I think the market is going to do next? Where do I think we're going to go from there? And kind of establish some thought processes for the week, right? Then on Sundays, you know, we always like to run a couple of giveaways on Sunday. So stay tuned, my friends. So let's see, my friends. Where do we think the market is going to go from here? The first thing that we have to do on any piece of analysis, any Sunday analysis, is take a look at our higher timeframes and take a look at our weekly chart. And I'd be lying if I said this weekly chart wasn't damn bullish, guys. I mean, let me clean this up a little bit here. All these marks. All these marks. But I'll tell you what, this NQ chart looks damn bullish. And more importantly than that, the ES chart is really painting a very, very clear picture, right? This ES chart is painting an extremely clear picture. We can go a few different ways this week, but I absolutely lean towards the upside just because of the way that the ES chart closed that weekly candle, right? And I think the chat can agree here. I don't think I'm reinventing the wheels, guys, when I say the ES chart is bullish. So for our first piece of analysis on the night, I know it sounds simple, but again, we always like to start with simple. Keep it simple, stupid. I firmly believe that most people overcomplicate trading. This is a bullish weekly chart, man. And so now I think we have to consider the various different scenarios. What do we think happens next, right? Do we get a green bar that continues to the upside? Do we maybe get a little bit of a pullback that acts as a consolidation candle? I honestly don't think one scenario is more likely than the other. I think that both of those are really valid scenarios. If you came to me and you said, Jake, I think the ES chart is going to put in a little bit of a little bit. A little bit of a weekly pullback and retest those former highs. I'd say, yeah, I agree. Right? However, if you told me that you're convinced that the bullishness is going to continue. And that the ES is going to put another green bar. This is where my gut leans, my friends. My gut leans to us continuing to drift higher because I think that the NASDAQ is going to play catch up. And we'll see. I'm very open-minded to trading anything. I'm not trying to come in with a bias. This is the only analysis I've done is right now. As well as I do see a question in the chat about news with Iran and USA or Japan unwinding. Shift to drift 38. I'm not saying you're wrong in any way, shape, or form. But I would like to say the Japan trade has been unwinding since I started trading. Like, well, maybe not that long. But people have been talking about the Japan carry trade for, like, four years. So I'm pretty hard-pressed to say that that's going to be, like, this week is the week that that, you know. For those who are curious, there's a Japan carry trade theory out there that basically the price of the yen and the way that investors are utilizing the yen will ultimately cause the market to unwind in one direction or the other. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm just saying it's above my pay grade, truthfully. I'm better at looking at the candles and having the candles kind of figure out where we go next. So for me, guys, truthfully, I don't pay attention too much to the news. I really just am looking at this ES chart. And I think that the ES chart is painting a picture of drifting higher, man. But we'll see. The YM also looks really great, guys. This looks really strong. All of these signs are kind of pointing towards up. Oh, man, the RTY looks great as well. So I'd like to expand on this a little bit. And again, Sunday streams are fascinating, guys, because the market is closed right now. Like, we have no information to guide us on where we might go next before the market opens in the next 20 minutes, right? The best we can do is use the information that we have at hand. And so I'd like to use this opportunity as a little bit of a learning lesson here and just point out why the RTY might be appealing this week, right? If we take a look at the ES... If we take a look at the ES here, the ES broke out of its range last week and got this follow-through, right? What's fascinating is that the RTY has done something similar, but it hasn't broken out of this range yet. And what that means for it is that the weekly chart is still technically inside all of this previous action and still in a range. So one of the best trades of the week might be the RTY breaking up into all-time highs because this is such a strong close. And remember, the market moves in a few different manners, guys. It goes from trend to range to potentially trend here. So one of my favorite watches of the week is going to be the RTY. And can this get follow-through? It's not something that I'm going to be looking to trade on Sunday night. As Sunday night, the liquidity is probably not super high. And I'd have to enter with a swing-for-the-moon type of entry. I don't know if I'm in a swing-for-the-moon type of entry tonight, that type of mood on a Sunday night, but we'll see. Hey, you never know. I saw someone earlier in the chat mention, you are one full port away from a payout. I don't know if I agree with that logic, but I will just say, I saw a line that stuck with me the other day. What highs and lows are you referring to when you say 80% of the time we close at highs or lows? The daily chart, right? So I don't know if it's 80% of days, but it probably is a good chunk of days where the daily candle closes at the higher, the low. Even take a look at the, let's just look at the last 10 days, right? So it didn't happen right here, but right here on day two. So if this is day one, right, we'll put day one right there and then we're going after that. Day two closed at the lows. Day three did not. Day four did not. Day five did. Day six closed at the highs. Day seven did not. And I would say it's more about 50, 50, but even if you just look at the daily chart, guys, you can see oftentimes on a trending day when we are not when we on a trending day, but oftentimes in general, we get trending days where we close at the high or the low. Those are really good opportunities to catch bigger winners, because you can get entries and hold them all day. So when the question is what highs or lows are you referring to those are the highs and lows that I'm referring to. The daily chart closing at its higher low point. The ticker for gold on TOS is slash GC for gold futures. You put in a slash mark, then GC. How did you first develop your strategy and learning how to trade? I bought a bunch of different courses from a bunch of different people, and then I studied a lot on YouTube, and I studied a lot of people's courses who I didn't even, in hindsight, I don't even use any of their strategy, but I spent a lot of time studying their psychology videos. So I just studied, man, really. I studied basically all the material that was out there that I could before I ultimately found something, by combining pieces of it, I found what worked for me, and then it just becomes repetition, guys. You just need practice staring at the charts over and over and over again. The most valuable mentor that I ever had was me in my Fresno phase. There's no individual trader or mentor that's going to push you to profitability like yourself, right? You're the one who pushes the button. So it's important to learn from people, but it's also important to formulate what works for you, right? That's a very, very important thing. We're playing best day ever right now, baby. Right now. I do think there could be a gap up. We got a big hourly bull flag on the NASDAQ. The NASDAQ looks great. I mean, it looks great. I absolutely think that we could get a gap up here, and that's one of the scenarios that I... That's one of the scenarios in play for me tonight is a gap up above a level. Let's see once these load. If we can get a gap up... I mean, I would prefer us to just open up right above these levels, and we can trade off of these levels. That would be my preferred strategy, but... friday's trading session right we use these on tuesday and wednesdays when we drew these and they continue to hold up rather well but for me it's multi-time frame analysis and there's just overall happening off of this no do i think we could end up getting a broader continuation up towards yesterday's highs at 77.86 yeah so what i'm gonna do at the moment is likely trade this if we get up to the open consolidate a little bit look for a pullback look for an entry on that take that one for the next leg so i'm still catching the broader move or at least looking to trade the broader move it's just doing it in little intervals instead of holding one big trade yeah when the hourly daily four hour all look prime i think the setups uh hell yeah i need to be in this because the potential is so huge then i'll look to hold longer how can you trade multiple accounts under let's say lucid on each broker there is a way to copy trade so there's usually like on um trade of eight there's group trading you just have to create a group and then you'll be able to trade one account and the rest will follow on trade c you make a leader account and then the rest of followers so you trade one account and the rest will follow the orders i've been going home on to july pulling on my nerves and saved myself with all rangy action but since august i'm struggling to hold off struggling to hold off to take low quality setup umar if you're currently struggling hesitating on setups size down a little bit and i'm not saying you need to size down for a while size down till you get back in your group let's say you trade one mini total so 10 micros size down to let's say four or five trade that for a little bit build the confidence back up once you feel the confidence back to where it should be and you're seeing the chart reading it right trades are working then size back in but when we're doing when we're looking at that what you're doing is you're just looking to build the confidence up a lucid account when i trade lucid i use trade c when i trade on trade of eight that means i am on tradeify and then you guys will see it i'm on trade c when i trade the funded seat but i haven't traded that account yet i see a lot of people saying what was that drop it's just a rejection if you remember there's one area we talked about on es all it is we came up to 73s tested it couldn't get enough buying pressure to get above it yet rejected just hitting this little resistance on es which led to a rejection we didn't have no buying pressure which pushes back into the range nothing crazy just a little up hit resistance couldn't get enough buying pressure told off should be stopped here in a second all right i got trailed out there little stop on it bigger rejections what's the 15 look like kind of ugly to be honest we're gonna have an hourly inside bar most likely so we'll have to see what the asia open does what's gonna be big here is how nq reacts to this 840s if it holds that market may hold we're just stuck at the moment thought you're gonna move to break even now lander i move to break even when structure changes if you remember exactly what i talked about earlier there was one aspect where i would move break even and that was if we got above 73s because above 73 structure then changes we take out this resistance we're likely to continue up towards target versus the rejection back lower so with us hitting 73 pushing back lower i'm not going to move that stop too much downstream sunday's too yeah that'll be live tonight let's see what the market wants to do here we're moving real real slow which likely just means lower volume the only issue with that is when one big order pops up like this likely happened you'll see that larger quick move um other indices ym hate if we get bought back up i might actually be interested in some type of shorter term long just off the lows here with a stop at like 64s i don't hate the idea of it i would just need a little bit little consolidation areas right we started to get a push back higher the risk to reward if we're going to range on this is going to be trying to get an entry entry near the lows put a stop under the lows just look for the open for that looking at the hourly this was one of the main reasons that i was interested i flipped to this chart told you guys we're holding this prior support i'm now interested if we hold that for the potential risk to the upset we have this massive support below us on the hourly between 65 and 67. my stop is 64 so right below the highs of that if we break back into that we're going to be more bearish so the risk on this trade i think was 400 to make 850 somewhere around there obviously i lost a trade for 200 so we're up 650. but just multi-time frame analysis looking at the overall structures other indices started to get a little bit of buying pressure on top of oil not seeing much bullish momentum as well as the dollar so just trading across different charts different time frames and getting the conviction all right past the account hell yeah bl i will hold trailing stops and profit that's the way to do it if you want to hold obviously i had my expectations jake's target hit on nq i don't remember exactly where his entry would have been but that lower wick i would assume would have stopped some out either way chat solid trade so far we're green i'm open to trading more obviously we still have 50 48 minutes left there's potential we get some more now we just wait see what the market wants to do from here there's two options if i want to log we talked about it earlier if we get above 73 there's a chance we range between 73 in the open which is just following this end of day range if we sit in here i'm willing to buy around 73 74s throw a stop at 70 71 somewhere in that ballpark depending on structure and then look for that bigger move if we end up getting above this just look for a little retest maybe about at the open and continuously pushing the uptrend what i would target prior out hourly four hour highs whatever you want right around 30 000 30 50. you have 30 000 here 30 50 here about but if i'm looking at the 15 if the 15 closes like this on nq you're likely going to see continuation there's a chance i look back on this trade i caught the initial part of the move and it just keeps ripping let me get a dollar no
