hawkeye and three-time ncaa champion spencer lee won a world freestyle title and speaking of [17:51] wrestling there's no bigger name there's no greater sports legend in iowa than dan gable 21 years as a [18:05] head coach 21 straight big 10 titles 15 ncaa titles including nine in a row ladies and gentlemen let's hear [18:14] it for the great dan gable to dan and kathy gable it is so great to [29:10] doors and it went over pretty well in our neighborhood because here's the reality in iowa we led the largest [29:17] tax cut in american history and let me tell you what that means when iowans have more of their [29:22] hard-earned tax dollars in their pocket they invest in their family they invest in their community they [29:27] invest in their farm and they continue to grow we took iowa's best practice to congress i'm privileged [29:32] to serve with an amazing delegation right here from iowa because we were able to bring president [29:38] trump to iowa and he spoke about what it meant to have no tax on overtime that meant a law enforcement [29:45] officer or a nurse working a second shift second shift got to keep more of her money we talked about [29:50] what it meant to have no tax on tips so that my daughter who's going to be the first time voting [29:57] this year gets to keep more of her hard-earned money and invest it right back into her education [30:02] and what it means for seniors in iowa god bless us we're the number one place to retire in america right [30:11] now it means six thousand dollars back in your pocket you're not paying into your social security in [30:33] the last 17 months the lowest cases of fentanyl deaths that we have seen since the last administration [30:42] the number one cause of death from my daughter's age to my age we've been able that's not just my story that is your story and that is our story [37:07] that is the story of america and when you work that hard for something you want to preserve it you [37:14] want to protect it and you want to cherish it you see just like i believed in me i believe in you [37:26] but the democrats don't believe in us anymore they don't believe in the story of america they believe [37:33] we have people that are [41:34] proposing to change that house to sandy soil and that is the socialism you hear talked about in the other [41:48] the political party open borders uh alternatives to prisons uh defunding the police open borders uh [42:04] let's see uh non-citizens voting doing doing away with the united states senate packing the supreme court [42:16] now those people have in mind changing america and changing it very dramatically and we think that [42:25] this is the first time that the word socialism and talked about in campaigns because that's what [42:33] you've been hearing for the last six months but i want to remind you that when obama was first elected [42:43] it gives us a chance to transform america that's 22 years ago we've got it we've got people campaigning [42:54] today in michigan that like socialism oac went to michigan two weeks ago and said if we can [43:01] elect el saeed to the united states senate and there's already a certainty of about 12 of them being [43:09] in the u.s house of representatives we can transform america and what we're here today is not anything [43:19] about transforming america but preserving america and so if you wonder why i've been traveling with some of [43:37] our congressional candidates and with ashley hinson and with zach nunn i'm not on the ballot i have a [43:49] responsibility for what you are out here to do for the republican party i have even a greater responsibility [43:56] to help as many people as i can to get elected to the united states senate and that's everybody on this [44:04] republican ticket in iowa so let's just see if an el saeed would be in the united states senate and if [44:18] ashley isn't elected trump takes or schumer takes over the united states senate he's going to be the [44:25] majority leader now we've always thought of him as a very liberal democratic senator but he's backing all [44:34] these socialist ideas of el saeed uh in michigan and and you can bet your boots that if he is majority [44:45] leader regardless of what he's done in the past he's going to get extreme pressure to do what 40 of [44:53] the democrats in polls show that they're in favor of socialism that uh he's going to get the pressure [45:00] to move in that direction he may be inclined anyway but there was certainty now so i'm telling you [45:07] that's why we need ashley hinson in the united states senate and just a little history in regard [45:23] to the governor's race i'd like to have you i don't have time to go into the details like i have but some [45:30] of these stops i've had in iowa in october but you ought to look at 12 years of democrat governors [45:36] running this state and then compare it to the 16 years last 16 years of republicans running this [45:44] state and when and when and when the derma when the democrats took over in 98 they had a balanced [45:53] budget they left a billion dollar hole in the budget they had three bond issues that took one and [46:01] seven tenths billion dollars of power money they took several hundred million dollars of stimulus money [46:07] that obama was spreading throughout the country and they spent like was recurring money and then [46:14] they left a billion dollar hole in the budget while they were governor they had to cut the budget across [46:21] the board two and four tenths two and three tenths times one three tenths times at one time ten percent [46:29] so we know what they do when they get into power spend spend and tax tax and look at what happened when [46:39] we've had 16 years of republican governors we've had tax cuts we've had balanced budget every year [46:50] and we had and the democrats used up all the rainy day money and today we have five and five and a half [47:00] billion dollars in reserve for a rainy day down the future so that's the difference so i hope i hope [47:10] every one of you can go to your friends and warn them about what socialism does in countries that are [47:18] practicing if you were in venezuela in 98 it was the richest country in the world today it's the poorest [47:27] country in latin america if you were in cuba before before 1960 you were in a very rich country today they [47:36] can hardly supply food and electricity for their people it's a disaster and we can't have america be [47:44] that disaster that's why i'm urging [50:16] in the mail from josh turek the other day you know what it said josh turek is going to work with [50:21] president trump to secure the border and stop illegal immigration who believes that who we are here to protect and preserve the culture of the state that we love [51:24] that's why we're here and if you look at what the left is doing they've known that this is a cultural [51:37] battle for a very long time they've known that their efforts have been against that look the fight to [51:43] get rid of voter id is an attack on our culture the fight to defund the police is an attack on our [51:49] culture the fight to open our borders is an attack on our culture i'm just telling you right now in [51:53] the state of iowa when i am governor that is done we are going to defend our state but this fight for [52:08] culture is something deeper and the left has known this for decades and generations they've literally [52:15] written playbooks on how to destroy cultures if you look at the writings of marx of ingles the speeches [52:22] of lenin they said the craziest things and right now i'll tell you the democrat socialists of america [52:27] are picking it up as their platform and i believe and i don't know if you agree with me on this but i [52:31] believe that those people are just the ones willing to say the quiet part out loud this is their mission [52:38] and you can look back at time and see as they have put forward those policies to destroy cultures [52:45] over the 20th century alone whether you call it socialism communism or marxism it doesn't matter what [52:51] you call it it's accounted for over a hundred million deaths across the world a hundred million [52:56] there's never been something more destructive than this ideology ever and let me tell you the [53:00] united states of america was founded on a complete opposite idea it was founded on the idea that comes [53:05] directly from our faith let me tell you this there is no western civilization there is no the united [53:09] states of america without christianity it does not exist if you want proof of that read the first [53:41] paragraph of the iowa constitution it reads as a prayer if you want more proof of that understand [53:46] that people talk about america being a christian nation but it's actually way deeper than that the [53:50] truth of the matter is and this is the hard truth that the left cannot escape from there is no religion [53:55] on the face of the earth that could have ever written the constitution i say it's but christianity [53:59] you're not endowed by a creator you don't have an enable rights you don't have the divinity within you [54:04] let me tell you the central tenet of western civilization is this crazy radical idea this idea that every [54:11] single one of you your kids and your grandkids have so much worth because you are created in the [54:16] image of god that's the central idea if we want to get our state and our country back on the right [54:36] track there's not one thing i believe that's more important than reforming education in our state let [54:42] me tell you this if you want to inspire if you want to inspire the next generation tell them the true [54:49] story of the united states of america that's what you should do and that true story is this no country [55:03] is without issues no country has not had bad times but there's never been a country that's done more [55:08] than the united states look during the civil war we gave 600 000 lives to end that battle we sent our [55:15] own navy to the coast of africa to shut it down we've led more humanitarian missions in any country [55:20] ever known to mankind we've alleviated more poverty secured more rights alleviated more oppression than any [55:25] country on the face of the earth and it's not even close this is the battle we're in make no bones [55:41] about it let me tell you this you know i've gotten a lot of flack from the media for talking about [55:46] culture but i believe that's why we're all here that's the foundational reason we're here we want [55:50] to pass something down to our children that's better for them than what was given to us that's [55:55] the generational compact of what it means to be an iowan if you want to destroy a culture destroy their [56:11] stories make them ashamed of where they came from of the people that came here before them but if you [56:17] want to inspire the next generation which is what we want to do we want the next generation to know [56:22] that all of western civilization rests on their shoulders and they should be proud to bear that [56:27] burden and carry it forward into the darkness to light the world you know i had some of the media [56:42] say to me you know what isn't does that happen and you know the people are immensely wealthy they're [1:18:45] going to do the best job it'll be incredible and they were looking for a site i said what about [1:18:51] this sounds strange you know you think of corn and crop farmers i said what about iowa the people [1:18:56] are incredible and they said we like that don't worry about them don't worry about them they're losers [1:19:07] there'll be three or four of them they put about three or four of them in and your your law [1:19:14] enforcement does such a good job crazy probably somebody stands up and they say some super thing [1:19:40] they don't even know what no they're paid they get 250 dollars then they get booked in a precinct [1:19:45] they have it on the record for the rest of their lives and i think probably with most of them we'll [1:19:51] probably ask the various law and for i shouldn't say this because we still have another rally we're going [1:19:57] right right after this we're going to but he said how do you do it how do you speak in front of all these look at all [1:21:19] the fake news back there camera after camera and and he said he failed badly he dropped out he said [1:21:29] he couldn't he literally had stage right the guy the guy would destroy people for a living and then [1:21:34] financially that is but no he was a tough guy very tough financially very smart but he'd the giant auto company audi just announced a 40 billion dollar plant in macon georgia and it'll produce [2:07:28] between 200 and 300 000 cars a year you know we went 49 years without any auto plan they were all being [2:07:36] taken now we're bringing them all back they're coming in from canada from mexico from germany from [2:07:42] japan from south korea think of it 49 years we didn't build one we lost many of them we lost 57 [2:07:54] percent of our auto plants due to stupidity if we would have charged tariffs we would have lost none [2:08:00] and there are no tariffs if you build here that's why they all come in because they can't pay the [2:08:04] tariffs what we've done for you we've not only saved our country we're making our country the richest [2:08:12] country ever in history killed hundreds of thousands of people killed uh afghanistan years and years and then we [2:42:14] never fight to win we don't fight to win we fight to tie i don't know what we do this stupid stupid [2:42:20] presidents but afghanistan we could have won that i could have won that war in three weeks i could have [2:42:25] won the vietnam war in a week you know they drop whatever the hell that red crap is that they dropped [2:42:34] they kept dropping it in the forest agent orange even though it's red agent orange they drop it in the [2:42:43] forest for years and years and years instead of going after ho chi min city in the different places [2:42:50] i would have won that war in one week i would have won the war in afghanistan in a very short [2:42:55] period of time and the only reason why not finished with iran is i want to be nice i want to try and [2:43:00] save all those lives if i can and they're sitting there with a very bad but at some point we're gonna [2:43:06] have to give them the hammer most of it's gone their ships their airplanes most of it's gone i got [2:43:17] most favored nations agreements and you know if you do anything else but this uh you should win the [2:43:24] the midterms because for years we had the highest drug prices anywhere in the world by far they never [2:43:30] came down they were always the highest and i cut drug prices we had the highest prices anywhere in the [2:43:35] world and now we have the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world and to do that to do that i had to get [2:43:45] countries to raise the price of their drugs and they wouldn't do it like i spoke to friends uh president [2:43:51] macron macron it's beautiful accent and he goes no no no i cannot do that i said no no emmanuel you're [2:43:59] gonna have to raise the price of your drugs because you're getting a bargain for instance a pill that [2:44:04] costs ten dollars in france would cost 130 dollars in new york in washington los angeles in iowa cost 130 [2:44:17] who cost 13 times more it's not fair they said well research and development all sorts of reasons [2:44:23] ridiculous no other president ever tried it i got it reduced by 300 400 500 600 even 700 percent nobody's [2:44:35] ever in 31 years it's never gone down and i said to macron and the others i said you're gonna have to [2:44:46] raise the price of your drugs they said of course they said this no way we're not going to do that [2:44:52] yes you're going to do it emmanuel if you don't do it i'm going to put a massive tariff on everything [2:44:58] coming in from your country into the united states including wine and champagne they view that as very [2:45:04] that's a big one for them and i said it'll be at least 100 percent maybe 200 percent uh donald like i [2:45:11] said i would love to raise the price of our drugs and i did that with every freaking country you know [2:45:17] the reason i got it from the i got it from the drug companies because they knew i couldn't get it from [2:45:21] the country so they didn't care too much and then i got it from all the countries and the drug companies [2:45:26] that we didn't figure that one and what we did is we lowered your price of drugs by 70 80 and 90 [2:45:34] what a difference it's going to make and it's already happened and on that reason mike alone you [2:45:40] should win the midterms ashley you don't use that a lot because for that reason alone you're going to [2:45:45] win the midterms because that's there's nothing bigger and the fake news doesn't want to talk [2:45:50] about we abolished all discriminatory diversity equity and inclusion policies throughout the federal [2:45:56] problem we got critical race theory and trends gender insanity out of our school and we made english [2:46:06] the official language of the united states of america and just briefly our country is doing so well [2:46:19] under republican leadership that only i can make this promise to you if republicans win the house [2:46:25] of representatives and the senate i am going to give all adult citizens in the united states of america [2:46:33] five thousand dollars and that means man and wife man and wife and five thousand each ten thousand [2:46:46] dollars and only republicans can do it because we're taking in massive amounts as you see [2:46:53] of money through tariffs and record-setting economic success but democrat policies won't allow this to [2:46:59] happen because they're expected to lose a tremendous amount of money and in my opinion if they win we [2:47:05] will go into a 1929 style economic depressions and your 40 your 401ks are going to be worthless okay i think [2:47:15] you're going to be worthless if the republicans win you'll each have five thousand dollars in your pocket and [2:47:21] economic success for our country like we have never ever seen before and remember and remember [2:47:33] because the democrats like to say well he'll never pull that off well they always say that about me [2:47:38] and then i pull everything off but remember just recently i gave all members of our military [2:47:43] one thousand seven hundred and seventy six dollars as a bonus and the democrats said it'll never be done [2:47:51] and i told you this story was 1775 general uh what could we do they came back the following day these [2:48:00] guys central casting i could make movie stars that three of them sir we could do one thousand seven [2:48:07] hundred seventy five dollars i said general you know what you just said no sir i said one more dollar [2:48:15] it's 17 76 70 70 do you know what that means yes sir can we scrounge up an extra dollar general [2:48:24] make it and we did it and they got their money a year ago and every soldier thanks me every time i see [2:48:29] him so we can do the five thousand dollars so it's five thousand dollars caught the trump dividend is [2:48:37] approximately one trillion dollars but the wealth of the united states since my election is up 25 trillion [2:48:45] dollars so this is one trillion the only caveat of the trump dividend is that you can only get [2:48:54] the money if you're going to spend it in the united states of america we don't want you we don't want [2:49:02] you going to china to japan we don't want you to go to france so let's go to france and have a nice time [2:49:08] we can study revolution darling we can see how revolution works you have to spend the money in the united states [2:49:15] of america and the choice is very simple in this election you can vote for the radical [2:49:21] left democrat communist to loot your wealth raise your taxes by five trillion dollars annihilate [2:49:27] your borders decimate iowa farms and factories mutilate your children and give 25 million [2:49:34] illegal aliens amnesty and the right to vote they want these people coming in so they have the right [2:49:41] to vote they want to give them amnesty and many of these people are killers drug dealers people from [2:49:49] mental institutions and almost all of them were released from jails all over the world or you can [2:49:57] defeat the democrat communist and vote for more money in your pockets bigger paychecks for your [2:50:02] families lower taxes less crime a booming iowa economy no amnesty for illegal aliens but you most you [2:50:11] have to vote you have to vote for republicans if you're going to do that so every single democrat in [2:50:18] congress voted against our tax cuts they voted against no tax on tips a hundred percent right [2:50:26] mike a hundred i don't mean one or two a hundred percent voted against no tax on overtime and they [2:50:34] all voted against no tax on social security for our seniors and by the way they want to change it so [2:50:40] you pay in all those things the reason one of the reasons our economy is taught to believe it sort of [2:50:46] doesn't make sense but it does really you pay less taxes you work harder you do things i don't know [2:50:51] we're doing much more income now taking in less tax than we did that we raised the taxes they voted [2:50:57] against voter id because they want to cheat they voted against proof of citizenship because they want [2:51:03] to cheat they voted against securing our border millions 25 million people came in over four years [2:51:12] no people have come into our country in the last 18 months they voted in favor of the worst inflation [2:51:23] and highest energy costs in american history in favor of transgender mutilization of your children [2:51:30] in favor of men playing in women's sports on election night iowa is going to prove that america [2:51:36] does not belong to those who hate it america belongs to those who love it and the only choice for your [2:51:50] next senator is ashley hinson and your next governor is zach lane so ashley and zach please come up [2:51:58] thank you mr president for working so hard for iowans do we know how hard this you know he's sometimes [2:53:33] a bit uh modest in how he speaks he doesn't give himself credit like he should because just a couple [2:53:39] days ago your fbi mr president announced that they were prosecuting somali fraud in minnesota [2:53:47] and issuing search warrants 500 million dollars and i have a feeling that's just the tip of the [2:54:00] iceberg this man is not going to stop i promise you that but neither are we look this is our moment [2:54:06] iowa this is it they all think that we're not motivated are we motivated that's right and here's [2:54:18] something i got to tell you when i look out over this crowd you know what i love seeing you know [2:54:23] what my friend our friend charlie kirk would love seeing all the young people here today to support [2:54:28] america so just as this president has supported iowa we have to go out and show that we are dedicated [2:54:54] to the next generation that we are not going to let this place fall to socialism communism job great job and iowa attorney general uh this is you talk about her friend [2:56:25] she's been with me for a long time brenda bird thank you thank you brenda thanks as well i have [2:56:36] to thank the speaker of the house he really is he's one of the probably most respected people there is [2:56:42] anywhere in the country mike johnson thank you very much and another great friend of mine house majority [2:56:51] leader steve scalise you talk about a strong you know steve was the one who was so badly shot by that [2:57:02] lunatic uh during the little baseball field situation and i went to the hospital that night [2:57:09] and the doctor said almost no chance that he survives and his wife jennifer i mean the only [2:57:16] good thing is that i realized how much she loved him because who the hell knows about a wife loving i [2:57:21] don't know some do some don't she was so devastated i've had people that were on the deathbed and the [2:57:28] wife doesn't give a damn and i'm not and steve was literally i we thought it was not going to make it [2:57:35] the doctor said he's never seen such blood loss and they had to replace the blood they've never [2:57:41] i think he said it was a record he said very small chance so we're going to do the best we could the [2:57:45] wife she was uh the whole family just devastated couldn't speak couldn't do anything when he finally [2:57:53] got to where you could talk to him i said well at least you have a wife that loves you that's good [2:57:59] but but uh steve went through hell and he recovered and it was amazing that he recovered and then he [2:58:07] he went to the baseball game like the following year he did recovery was tough and yet he he worked [2:58:13] he walked around he could hardly walk he was really hit badly i mean not nobody gave him much of a chance [2:58:20] and they put him at second base during the game and they had a lot of people it's a good game between [2:58:26] the democrats and the republicans it's sort of a tradition for many many decades and steve was a [2:58:32] good player but you know he didn't have exactly great mobility he couldn't even walk and they put [2:58:38] him in second base and this was only a few months later four months later and he really could barely [2:58:44] do anything i don't even know who the hell the coach is that put you there there's a second baseman [2:58:50] named bobby richardson he was with the yankees for like 14 50 he was known for range he could feel the [2:58:56] ball at shortstop he could feel the this was not bobby richardson bobby richardson right or mvp [2:59:04] but uh steve was at second base and this could only happen to us the first batter gets up strong guy [2:59:10] democrat first pitch ripped ripped ground ball ripped right at steve the good news he didn't have [2:59:19] to go he got down on his knees the ball hit him really hard he picked the ball through it to free [2:59:25] you know the stitches the guys bleeding all he threw it to first base he was out and they took [2:59:33] steve out of the game they said congratulations it was the craziest thing right and then on top of it [2:59:45] he had a very tough battle with a thing called the big c not good and uh he's cancer free gotta go check [2:59:54] right and mike do it and mike loves you and during this whole time mike said i can't believe the guy [3:00:01] works as hard as anybody can work and so these are warriors these are great it's a great honor [3:00:07] steve i'm telling you mike and i were talking about it before amazing what you went through [3:00:11] i don't think almost anybody could have done what you did thank you for being here appreciate it and [3:00:19] we have secretary of the interior doug bergham and his wife catherine who's incredible by the way what a [3:00:25] couple this is and great job he's done my friend he's my friend she's my friend i watched him you know [3:00:33] he was the governor of north dakota and he was a spectacular governor one of the most successful [3:00:40] governors in the country i said boy if i ever win this thing i'm going to use him for something and [3:00:44] i was able to get him and uh department of the interior where has a big impact on iowa and he [3:00:50] pretty much gives you everything you want when it comes to the farmers and iowa and nebraska the [3:00:55] whole group so i just want to thank you doug doing a great job does a great job and my special [3:01:03] odd boy he's a great negotiator he's doing unbelievable things he helped us with venezuela [3:01:09] helped us with a lot he's now working on iran and he will he'll pull it off too if one way the [3:01:15] other we're going to pull it off even even if he doesn't we'll pull it off it will do it a little [3:01:20] bit tougher way but steve whitkoff has been fantastic so i wonder and i said something about [3:01:30] him before but i will tell you that chuck grassley is one of the most respected men in the history of the [3:01:36] united states senate and it's an honor to have him with us tonight with his beautiful wife [3:01:42] beautiful wife thank you chuck he's a great guy he's he's a great strong man who loves he loves iowa [3:01:53] another man who's so respected the whole country respects him but they it's he's a special guy has [3:01:59] become a friend of mine he's the want you [3:06:52] to see these two charts done by cnn and it tells it all thank you okay maga gop on trump in the 2024 [3:07:01] election versus kamala harris he got 99 of the maga gop vote perhaps surprisingly i might have thought [3:07:07] it would be 100 but it was 99 compare that to his approval rating now at the maga gop it's 98 that [3:07:14] is there's been no real decline in maga support these folks say that they're going to vote for [3:07:20] congressional republicans come the midterm elections again that's the 99 that trump got against kamala [3:07:25] harris look now in terms of the congressional vote 98 of them say they're going to be voting for house [3:07:31] republican candidates so that support is actually really holding up strong it's really really strong [3:07:37] when it comes to mega gop and the republicans holding on to that vote this one okay the [3:07:42] president republicans most admire it's donald trump this is a historic comparison a majority of [3:07:48] republicans say 53 say he's the republican president they most admire ronald reagan who traditionally has [3:07:54] won that much donald trump nearly triples up on this reagan at just 18 and then abraham lincoln who by [3:08:02] most historic accounts is the greatest president of all time but republicans say that the president [3:08:07] that they most admire by what is this this is six seven times as many donald john trump at 53 [3:08:14] easily crushing abe lincoln at eight percent and the elon poll showed that he was the greatest [3:08:18] president as well i feel like this slide might have been printed on his desk thank you very much [3:08:22] that's an honor that's an honor so in conclusion if you elect a republican house and a republican [3:08:31] senate on november 3rd we will continue to put america first every single day we have to put america [3:08:41] we will win the war on corruption and fraud led by our great vice president jd vance he's doing a great [3:08:47] job we will pass the no invasion of our country act prohibiting any future president from ever opening [3:08:57] our borders to illegal immigrants again we will ban sanctuary cities and pass the death penalty for [3:09:07] large-scale drug dealers human traffickers and anyone who kills a police officer or a member of law [3:09:15] enforcement and we will pass voter identification proof of citizenship and the save america act to [3:09:26] defend our sacred american elections and we will enshrine in permanent law no men in women's sports [3:09:36] and no trans gender mutilization of our children so ladies and gentlemen of iowa the golden age of [3:09:45] america is upon us but you must get out and vote and you have to vote republican we're going to keep it [3:09:51] going we're going to be bigger better stronger than anyone's ever even imagined go vote early or vote on [3:09:58] election day probably now you're better off just wait till election day but go and make sure your vote is [3:10:05] tabulated that your vote counts and we're gonna have this big we're gonna have a tremendous i think [3:10:10] we're gonna have look at the crowds i think we're gonna have a tremendous victory on tuesday so we've [3:10:17] already made unbelievable progress and now we will reach new levels of greatness it's my honor to be your [3:10:24] president during this such an exciting period of time it's such an honor for me to be you are the [3:10:30] people that built this country it's such an honor for me it really is such an honor for me to be your [3:10:39] president during this unbelievable period of time the growth 25 trillion dollars in growth in a short [3:10:46] period of time we've never seen anything like it we've been doing this for 11 years now and they're [3:10:53] just uh i don't think anything like this will ever happen again we have to enjoy it and appreciated it [3:10:59] we have to appreciate it so let's go out and do what we do best like dan gable win win
