"But there is a great chemistry between us and them. The Prime Minister is doing great work. I didn't realize that he will be able to succeed in these elections. The Prime Minister is doing great work. The Prime Minister is doing great work. The Prime Minister is doing great work. He is a great..."
[43:14] But there is a great chemistry between us and them. The Prime Minister is doing great work. I didn't realize that he will be able to succeed in these elections.
[43:25] The Prime Minister is doing great work. The Prime Minister is doing great work.
[43:45] The Prime Minister is doing great work. He is a great leader in America and the United States.
[44:03] Iraq is a foreign country. It is a great country. It is a great country.
[44:10] In a very short time, you will be able to succeed in a lot. At least, it will change the American feelings towards America.
[44:19] As Chris said, the Prime Minister is doing great work.
[44:28] The Prime Minister is doing great work. The Prime Minister is also a great leader.
[44:39] And I think you will be able to succeed in this country for a long time.
[44:44] You are also a young man and a young man. And this is not surprising.
[44:49] But with that, I will forgive you.
[44:52] Please, Mr. President. Thank you.
[44:55] Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for the warm welcome by his Excellency President Trump.
[45:06] This is my first visit to the United States of America. This visit was not just like any visit.
[45:18] Rather, it's an announcement of economic partnership where I talked to his Excellency.
[45:25] This is my first visit to the United States of America.
[45:26] By the 30th of September, the U.S. forces will be out of Iraq.
[45:30] While the U.S. companies will be inside Iraq.
[45:34] The social relations is about like economy. It's not about like military relations.
[45:43] I would convey my greetings from the oldest civilization in the world
[45:49] to the biggest economic and technology heart in the world.
[45:55] My thanks to his Excellency, the President, for the warm welcome.
[46:02] Thank you very much.
[46:05] Mr. President.
[46:06] Thank you, Mr. President.
[46:07] I have a question for the Prime Minister.
[46:12] Go ahead.
[46:13] Thank you, sir.
[46:14] Sir, is the village attack on Iran?
[46:28] It's a strategy to bring him back to the U.S.
[46:43] to bring them back to the table?
[46:45] Was it to degrade them
[46:47] so the regime will eventually fall?
[46:50] Well, we don't think we need the military there anymore.
[46:54] It's a very big operation.
[46:57] And what we do have is the oil companies are all going in now
[47:00] and they're doing partnerships with Iraq
[47:03] and they're getting along very well.
[47:06] The relationship is a whole big relationship
[47:08] where we don't need the military there.
[47:10] We're there to help them.
[47:11] We're there to protect them if need be.
[47:13] But we don't think that's going to be necessary.
[47:16] And their primary, I consider an opponent,
[47:19] they might have considered a friend,
[47:20] but I consider that an opponent was Iran,
[47:24] was a big burden on Iraq
[47:26] because they were the bully of the Middle East, as you know.
[47:30] And we were just talking about that.
[47:32] But they're not going to have that problem anymore
[47:34] because Iran has been very much destabilized
[47:39] and really their military power is just a tiny fraction
[47:45] of what it was just four months ago.
[47:47] So they're not going to have that problem.
[47:49] I think it's really, in a sense,
[47:50] it's given them freedom to do what they have to do.
[47:53] And I think that's one of the reasons
[47:54] that our oil companies are going in there
[47:57] at levels that have never been seen before.
[47:59] So thank you for your question.
[48:11] According to the program of the government,
[48:13] is to restrict the possession of weapons to the state.
[48:19] And this is a basic point.
[48:20] And I have, and this is like a decision.
[48:25] It's not an option.
[48:27] We received
[48:27] weapons by different factions
[48:32] and he who ever surrender his weapon
[48:35] turned into like a political civilian.
[48:41] We will cooperate with them.
[48:44] After the 30th of September,
[48:46] there's no need for the presence of any faction.
[48:51] Because factions
[48:52] is a need.
[48:54] It's not a profession.
[48:57] There's no justification for their existence
[48:59] after the 30th of September.
[49:03] So hopefully by the end of this year
[49:05] or by the beginning of the next year,
[49:07] we'll announce the sovereignty conference
[49:11] is the biggest conference in the region.
[49:15] The Iraqi decisions
[49:16] by the hand of the Iraqis only.
[49:20] And our security forces
[49:22] are capable of protecting their borders.
[49:25] So after the 30th of September,
[49:27] we'll never accept for any entity
[49:32] to carry weapons outside the control of the state.
[49:35] Okay.
[49:36] Mr. President Trump.
[49:37] Thank you.
[49:38] Thank you, President Trump.
[49:39] I have two questions.
[49:40] I was wondering if you could explain
[49:42] your changing thinking
[49:43] on the straight of Hormuz
[49:44] applying a 20% fee.
[49:46] How did you get to the decision?
[49:48] You just...
[49:48] Yeah, so when I put that out yesterday,
[49:51] because we've been doing that
[49:52] for many, many years,
[49:53] it was never fair to me
[49:54] that we would be guarding the straight
[49:56] when we basically don't take anything.
[49:58] We don't need the oil at all.
[50:00] And it wasn't important for us,
[50:03] but it was important for allies.
[50:04] It was important for people
[50:05] that we get along with very well,
[50:07] including the major Gulf state countries.
[50:11] So I put it out yesterday.
[50:12] I thought it was good.
[50:14] I was called by different people,
[50:15] different countries,
[50:17] kings and emirs
[50:19] and all of the people that we all know
[50:21] and we all love.
[50:23] And they've been, frankly,
[50:24] they've been very strong partners.
[50:26] And they said,
[50:27] we'd love to do it a different way.
[50:28] We'd love to invest in the United States
[50:30] with billions and billions of dollars
[50:33] and continue our record setting
[50:36] because we would...
[50:37] There's never been a time like this
[50:39] with the United States,
[50:39] with the factories,
[50:40] with the plants,
[50:41] with everything else.
[50:42] And we would like to invest tremendously
[50:45] in the United States
[50:46] as opposed to charging a fee.
[50:48] And I like that, actually,
[50:49] because I don't think anybody
[50:50] should be able to charge a fee
[50:52] for the straight...
[50:54] or for any other straight relationship
[50:57] in terms of other sections of the world.
[51:00] I don't think anybody should be
[51:01] really in that position.
[51:03] But we were doing it as a reimbursement.
[51:06] The Gulf states are going to invest
[51:07] a tremendous amount of money
[51:09] into the United States
[51:11] and that was very satisfactory to me.
[51:13] I think it's actually much better.
[51:16] I could also ask,
[51:18] are you aware of why the FBI
[51:19] is looking into Senator Graham's death?
[51:22] Have you gotten any updates
[51:23] on why they were at his home?
[51:24] Well, I don't know why
[51:25] because I think, you know,
[51:26] he had a problem.
[51:28] His father had a very similar problem,
[51:30] as you know.
[51:31] It's very unique.
[51:32] At first, I heard it was clogged arteries
[51:35] because he did have clogged arteries.
[51:37] He had a problem with that.
[51:39] He was...
[51:40] I wish he took better care of himself.
[51:42] I say, you know,
[51:44] you can solve that problem.
[51:46] But what happened is actually something
[51:48] that's very hard to detect.
[51:49] It was not related to any blockage.
[51:52] It was a totally different thing.
[51:54] And supposedly,
[51:56] and I've watched all the medical reports.
[51:59] I've had the doctors from the White House
[52:00] come in and explain what happened.
[52:02] And this is something that is very,
[52:04] almost undetectable.
[52:07] And if it happens,
[52:08] there's not much you can do about it.
[52:10] It sounds unfortunate,
[52:11] but there's not much you can do about it.
[52:13] If you look at his father died of the same thing
[52:18] at about the same age.
[52:20] So there was not much...
[52:22] They say it's almost undetectable.
[52:24] You can detect it by...
[52:26] If you have a very bad back,
[52:28] that's a sign.
[52:29] It's a bad sign.
[52:30] So if anybody has a bad back,
[52:32] it's a pretty rough thing to think about.
[52:36] But the fact that it's one of the primary signs...
[52:38] And he would tell me he had a bad back.
[52:40] But little did anyone realize it was for that.
[52:43] So...
[52:43] And when that bursts,
[52:45] which it did, it bursts,
[52:46] there's not much...
[52:47] So I don't see a lot of evil there.
[52:49] I know there's all sorts of conspiracy theories going along.
[52:53] And I don't think the FBI...
[52:55] I think the FBI is wasting their time
[52:57] if they're doing that.
[52:58] Just on the prior question,
[53:00] the Hormuz straight-told idea for you,
[53:03] that's dead now.
[53:04] That's completely gone.
[53:06] No, I just told you,
[53:07] you have Saudi Arabia,
[53:09] UAE,
[53:10] Qatar,
[53:12] Bahrain,
[53:13] and Kuwait,
[53:14] primarily,
[53:15] and then others.
[53:17] I spoke to all of them.
[53:19] And they would love to invest more money
[53:21] in the United States
[53:22] at record amounts.
[53:24] And that would be very acceptable.
[53:26] And this way,
[53:27] there's no fee.
[53:27] I don't like the concept of a fee.
[53:29] But at the same time,
[53:30] it's not fair that we're protecting this straight
[53:33] for the entire world,
[53:34] for China and everyone.
[53:36] I don't mind protecting it for China.
[53:37] I don't mind protecting it for anybody.
[53:39] But it's unfair that we're not in somehow compensated.
[53:42] And we've been doing this for many years.
[53:44] It's bothered me 25 years ago.
[53:47] It bothered me.
[53:48] During my first term,
[53:49] I was doing things like,
[53:50] you have to invest in the United States.
[53:53] But by doing it that way,
[53:54] there's no fee.
[53:56] They're investing,
[53:57] and they're getting a return on their money,
[53:58] and it's good.
[53:59] But they're going to be making massive investments
[54:01] into the United States,
[54:04] and I like that much better.
[54:07] Can I ask you a minute about the meeting you had today
[54:10] about the one that you discussed, OPEC.
[54:13] There's been some reporting that Iraq
[54:15] is pushing for changes to OPEC,
[54:16] a larger share,
[54:18] even that they might consider leaving.
[54:19] The gentleman right here,
[54:21] because here he is.
[54:22] Would you like to know about him?
[54:23] Are you considering,
[54:24] Mr. Prime Minister,
[54:25] leaving OPEC,
[54:26] or are you pushing for changes to OPEC?
[54:28] And Mr. President,
[54:29] would you support Iraq?
[54:30] Well, I support him.
[54:32] You know,
[54:32] I supported him very early,
[54:34] and I endorsed him,
[54:35] something I rarely do,
[54:37] but I've had great successes endorsing.
[54:39] You know,
[54:39] we just had Colombia,
[54:41] which was a big one.
[54:42] Argentina was a big one.
[54:43] We had many.
[54:44] I've endorsed.
[54:46] I think everybody I've endorsed
[54:48] from a foreign standpoint,
[54:50] they just win.
[54:51] And, you know,
[54:53] I've been hearing great things.
[54:54] I'm a student of a lot of history,
[54:56] and I do know a lot about the history of Iraq,
[54:59] and I've watched what was happening in Iraq
[55:01] with the elections,
[55:02] and I put a very strong endorsement out
[55:04] because I was very unhappy
[55:06] with the man that was supposed to win the election.
[55:09] And this great gentleman,
[55:11] I think he's going to end up being a great leader,
[55:13] he won.
[55:14] So I'm very happy about that.
[55:15] As far as OPEC,
[55:16] that's his decision,
[55:17] and you might ask him that question.
[55:19] It's a pleasure.
[55:19] Thank you.
[55:19] Thank you.
[55:19] Thank you.
[55:19] Thank you.
[55:22] No, OPEC,
[55:23] we are one of the countries
[55:26] that established COPOPIC.
[55:28] However,
[55:32] we need like a fair share for Iraq.
[55:34] Iraq fought ISIS
[55:37] and terrorism at all
[55:39] in support of United States of America.
[55:43] This fight with ISIS
[55:47] cost us like huge amounts of money
[55:51] and destroyed the Iraqi infrastructure.
[55:54] The damage that really was against Iraq
[55:58] is more than $400 billion.
[56:04] Until today,
[56:05] like some Iraqi cities are totally destroyed.
[56:10] They're like living camps.
[56:14] I have a plan
[56:15] to get them back to their homes.
[56:18] We need a fair share.
[56:21] We need a fair share.
[56:21] Because if you remember,
[56:26] even though I was a civilian
[56:28] and had no thought of running for president,
[56:31] I get a disproportionate amount of publicity,
[56:34] as you probably heard.
[56:35] And I used to say,
[56:36] don't go into Iraq.
[56:39] Don't attack Iraq.
[56:41] Frankly,
[56:41] they attacked the wrong country.
[56:43] And they did a lot of damage.
[56:46] Thank you.
[56:48] Given how the Iranians have been behaving,
[56:50] do you have any regrets
[56:52] about lifting the naval blockade
[56:54] or giving the sanctions waivers?
[56:56] No.
[56:56] I gave them a chance.
[56:58] I wanted to give them a chance
[57:00] at making a deal.
[57:01] You know,
[57:02] we had a deal two days ago.
[57:03] It was done.
[57:04] And then all of a sudden,
[57:05] they couldn't do it.
[57:06] They didn't like something about the deal.
[57:07] They couldn't do it.
[57:09] And they shot first.
[57:10] And that was a big mistake
[57:11] that they shot first
[57:12] because we have been knocking
[57:14] the hell out of them.
[57:15] They're very difficult people.
[57:17] 47 years we put up with it.
[57:19] The SS call.
[57:21] You go back all the way.
[57:22] Thousands of people.
[57:24] Thousands of Americans were killed.
[57:25] A lot of soldiers were killed.
[57:27] A lot of soldiers are walking around
[57:29] or not walking around.
[57:30] I mean,
[57:30] they've been so badly injured.
[57:33] The arms,
[57:34] the legs,
[57:34] the face.
[57:36] With the Salomini,
[57:38] with the bomb.
[57:40] They call it the roadside bomb.
[57:42] Most people call it the roadside bomb.
[57:44] It's a disaster.
[57:46] And I killed him
[57:48] in my first administration.
[57:51] Had I not,
[57:52] it might be a different story today.
[57:54] He was a mad genius.
[57:56] He was a mad,
[57:57] probably a mad man,
[57:59] but he was a general.
[58:00] And he had total control
[58:01] over the country.
[58:02] And I actually think
[58:03] the leaders of Iran
[58:04] were afraid of Salomini.
[58:06] But I killed him.
[58:08] And by the way,
[58:09] with him went
[58:09] a very bad person also.
[58:12] They happened to be
[58:13] meeting each other
[58:14] at the airport.
[58:15] And a very bad person
[58:17] from Iraq
[58:18] happened to be a leader
[58:19] of Iraq
[58:20] happened to be killed
[58:21] in that same incident.
[58:23] So I don't know
[58:24] if I did you a favor or not.
[58:25] I've never asked you that question.
[58:26] You probably would know
[58:27] better than me.
[58:27] But no,
[58:28] I think that,
[58:29] I think that
[58:30] what we've done to Iran
[58:32] is we've taken away
[58:34] all of their,
[58:34] almost all of their
[58:35] military capability.
[58:36] The President,
[58:37] we now have
[58:38] a question for Prime Minister.
[58:40] Go ahead.
[58:40] A question for Prime Minister.
[58:42] Explain that.
[58:43] A question for Prime Minister.
[58:45] He has to hear that.
[58:45] Go ahead.
[59:06] At that time, I was not in politics and in my visit, like I'd like to talk about the
[59:31] future.
[59:38] Mr. President, thank you for your time.
[59:47] Last year in May, the Prime Minister of Kurdistan region, Maslur Barzani, signed about $110 billion
[59:55] in energy gels with U.S. companies here in Washington, D.C.
[1:00:00] Mr. President, if Baghdad and Erbil work together better, that investment could grow, grow,
[1:00:08] grow.
[1:00:09] What is your message and advice to the leaders in Baghdad and Erbil to work together?
[1:00:15] Why am I asking this question?
[1:00:17] Because you are a miracle-makers, Mr. President.
[1:00:20] Thank you.
[1:00:21] I love this question.
[1:00:22] It's my favorite question so far, by far.
[1:00:26] Thank you very much for the question.
[1:00:28] Look, Baghdad, I think, and I and this country, we're going to make some tremendous music together.
[1:00:35] We haven't been dealing very much over the last four or five years with the previous administration.
[1:00:44] Iraq has tremendous potential because of their oil and because of other things, but because
[1:00:50] of their oil.
[1:00:51] And we're going to be doing a lot of deals.
[1:00:53] We're going to create a lot of jobs for both countries.
[1:00:56] And we're going to be taking out a lot of oil.
[1:00:58] A lot of oil is coming out.
[1:01:00] And the American companies are doing it.
[1:01:02] Mostly American companies now.
[1:01:03] They don't want to do business with others.
[1:01:05] They want to do business with America.
[1:01:07] And that's good.
[1:01:08] And that's one of the reasons that I felt so strongly that this was going to be a great
[1:01:12] prime minister.
[1:01:13] And I fought for that.
[1:01:15] How will you describe your relationship with Kurdistan regional government at this time?
[1:01:24] Because prime minister yesterday had a statement and fully support you.
[1:01:30] I look at Iraq as a body.
[1:01:41] Each part of Iraq is part of my own body.
[1:01:47] So I would never distinguish between two or any organ.
[1:01:54] And I cannot cut off any part of any organ from my own body.
[1:01:59] Afghanistan is such an important part of Iraq.
[1:02:04] More different than Basra and other provinces.
[1:02:06] But because such nice things were said about him.
[1:02:10] That means he likes the man that said those nice things.
[1:02:13] President Trump!
[1:02:14] President Trump!
[1:02:15] President Trump!
[1:02:16] President Trump!
[1:02:17] President Trump!
[1:02:18] President Trump!
[1:02:19] President Trump!
[1:02:20] Thank you so much, Mr. President.
[1:02:21] I have a question for you and I have a question for the prime minister.
[1:02:23] All right.
[1:02:24] The first question, Mr. Prime Minister, why did you choose the United States as your first trip abroad?
[1:02:29] And what steps, concrete steps, do you take when you go back to Iraq to make sure that the agreements you are reaching in Washington, D.C. implement it?
[1:02:39] I inherited such a heavy burden in the country.
[1:02:46] I have a master degree in finance.
[1:02:50] I analyzed the economic situation of the country.
[1:02:56] This burden, I need such a strategic partner to really lift this burden.
[1:03:02] The most important strategic partnership in the world is the United States of America.
[1:03:11] It wasn't just like any visit or came out of work.
[1:03:14] It's not emotional, it's about mind.
[1:03:17] President Trump!
[1:03:18] President Trump!
[1:03:19] President Trump!
[1:03:20] President Trump!
[1:03:21] President Trump!
[1:03:22] President Trump!
[1:03:23] Inflation slowed to 3.5 percent.
[1:03:24] Yeah, thank you.
[1:03:25] Will this trend hold now that strikes on Iran?
[1:03:27] I think so.
[1:03:28] I think it's going to inflation's down.
[1:03:30] We inherited the worst inflation in the history of our country.
[1:03:33] They say 48 years.
[1:03:34] It was the worst in the history of our country from Biden.
[1:03:37] Sleepy Joe.
[1:03:38] He might have been sleepy, but boy, he could create inflation like nobody.
[1:03:42] And I inherited that and I got blamed for it.
[1:03:45] And it's not my fault.
[1:03:46] We are putting it to sleep.
[1:03:48] And we've done a great job.
[1:03:50] Scott and Howard and Marco and even Pete, because he's watching his dollars, right?
[1:03:55] But they've done a fantastic job.
[1:03:58] We've all done a fantastic job.
[1:04:00] So we had the worst inflation in history and the history of our country.
[1:04:06] I mean, we had months where it was 9 and 10 percent.
[1:04:09] And now we have a report just came out.
[1:04:12] It was just released.
[1:04:13] Thank you for bringing it up.
[1:04:15] But the report was incredible.
[1:04:16] The inflation is way down.
[1:04:18] That means prices are coming way down and we're doing a great job.
[1:04:22] Remember that.
[1:04:24] Remember that for the midterms, I say to that camera.
[1:04:27] Remember that because nobody else could do it.
[1:04:30] Prices are way down.
[1:04:31] Prices are coming way down and we're going to bring them much lower yet.
[1:04:35] President Trump around the world and around the nation are anticipating your big announcement
[1:04:40] on Thursday night regarding election machines and integrity.
[1:04:44] Can you give us sort of a sneak peek about what to expect and tell the audience of America?
[1:04:47] Well, I'd rather save it.
[1:04:48] It will concern that subject and we'll have a couple of other things to say also.
[1:04:51] Why should people watch them?
[1:04:52] But I'd rather save it.
[1:04:53] But it's really big news.
[1:04:57] It's really, really big news.
[1:04:59] And our country has to shape up.
[1:05:02] But that's what we're going to be talking about Thursday is it doesn't get bigger because
[1:05:09] without free and fair elections, you don't have a country.
[1:05:12] We'll be discussing other things, too.
[1:05:13] But but it's going to be a very big announcement.
[1:05:16] Yeah.
[1:05:17] Mr. President, your administration pushed hard to shape your box leadership and tied U.S.
[1:05:23] support to disarming Iran-backed actions with the September 15th deadline weeks away.
[1:05:28] What happened in Baghdad?
[1:05:29] This is it.
[1:05:30] And does the U.S.
[1:05:31] troops from Kyrgyzstan region still proceed on schedule?
[1:05:35] I think everything's on schedule.
[1:05:37] We have a great year.
[1:05:38] We are.
[1:05:39] I mean, we're right now.
[1:05:40] I even called for a lunch.
[1:05:41] It wasn't scheduled.
[1:05:42] Okay.
[1:05:43] So in that way.
[1:05:44] No, we usually we I don't think I've ever done that where we didn't have lunch.
[1:05:49] I said, let's have lunch.
[1:05:50] You know why?
[1:05:51] Because I like it.
[1:05:52] I like it.
[1:05:53] So I think I think that's all going to work out very well.
[1:05:56] Do you want this Russia sanctions bill signed within the next week or two?
[1:06:00] And will you sign it?
[1:06:01] Well, I know that Lindsay wanted it very badly.
[1:06:03] I think they may be adding Iran to it.
[1:06:06] They're going to add Iran, which is a very big thing if they did that.
[1:06:09] They may add Hezbollah, too.
[1:06:11] Just put them if you do business with Hezbollah.
[1:06:14] So we're looking at that.
[1:06:15] But they're seriously thinking.
[1:06:17] And this is in honor of Lindsay.
[1:06:19] And this was his thing.
[1:06:21] He wanted this more than any other thing.
[1:06:23] You know, you know, he felt.
[1:06:24] And there's a good chance that it gets done.
[1:06:27] But they'd like to add Iran and they'd like to add Hezbollah to it.
[1:06:31] That's what I'm hearing.
[1:06:32] And if that's the secondary sanctions on China, India.
[1:06:36] We'll have to look.
[1:06:37] That hasn't been discussed.
[1:06:38] Mr. President, my question for you.
[1:06:43] The Prime Minister has launched a campaign to bring weapons held by militia under the control of the state.
[1:06:50] How does your administration support him to accomplish this vision?
[1:06:54] And my second question, how do you envision the future relations between Kurdistan region and Iraq?
[1:06:59] I think everything is going to work out.
[1:07:01] I think people are the Middle East.
[1:07:04] Believe it or not, it's coming together.
[1:07:05] We're getting rid of the bully of the Middle East.
[1:07:08] Iran was the bully of the Middle East.
[1:07:10] They bullied Iraq.
[1:07:12] They bullied every country.
[1:07:14] There was fear all over the Middle East with other countries.
[1:07:18] I understand that.
[1:07:19] But there was fear.
[1:07:21] But there's no fear anymore because their military capability has been knocked to hell.
[1:07:26] And there's no fear.
[1:07:27] I think the Middle East is coming together like it's never come together before.
[1:07:30] You can't have a dominant factor like Iran that would kill 52,000 protesters.
[1:07:36] You know, they killed.
[1:07:37] Nobody likes talking about that.
[1:07:38] I don't like talking about it.
[1:07:40] They killed 52,000 protesters.
[1:07:42] So the bottom line, all regions, I believe, are coming together.
[1:07:46] And I think it's going to be this is going to be one of the great leaders right here.
[1:07:50] It's going to be one of the great leaders in the Middle East.
[1:07:53] Could I please?
[1:07:54] Just explain that, please.
[1:07:55] I think it's going to be one of the great leaders in the Middle East.
[1:08:04] Thank you.
[1:08:27] It is problematic, everybody.
[1:08:31] I think we could go into this for a long time.
[1:08:44] And the bottom line is that we have a fantastic relationship with many countries now.
[1:08:50] I just came back from NATO.
[1:08:53] Many of you were there, and you saw how that worked out.
[1:08:55] It was a phenomenal, it was a love fest, to be honest.
[1:08:59] And they loved the United States.
[1:09:00] They're even like me, but they love the United States.
[1:09:03] And we're going to cut costs there by hundreds of billions of dollars, maybe.
[1:09:08] But the NATO event was incredible.
[1:09:11] Today's event is incredible.
[1:09:13] This is a potentially really great country.
[1:09:17] And many people would say it's a great country.
[1:09:19] We're helping it.
[1:09:20] We want to help it.
[1:09:21] We have a fantastic relationship with the new prime minister.
[1:09:25] He's a strong person.
[1:09:26] He's a very brilliant guy.
[1:09:28] He's very much acknowledged.
[1:09:30] Or he couldn't have won that election.
[1:09:32] That was a highly competitive election.
[1:09:34] And he went out and won.
[1:09:36] And it's a big story.
[1:09:37] I mean, it's a big, big story.
[1:09:39] And I just want to say that the United States has never done better.
[1:09:44] We're doing well.
[1:09:44] You know, more people are working today in the United States than at any time in history.
[1:09:49] We have more things being built, factories, plants, AI, automobile plants are being built at record numbers, more than we've ever had ever before.
[1:09:59] The tariffs have done, have been used very judiciously and properly.
[1:10:03] And companies are pouring in, and countries are pouring into this country to build factories.
[1:10:09] Because when they build them, they have no tariffs.
[1:10:12] And we have numbers, $19.2 trillion.
[1:10:16] As an example, under Biden, it was less than $1 trillion for four years.
[1:10:21] We're at $19.2 trillion for 12 months.
[1:10:26] Nobody's ever said anything like it.
[1:10:28] Our relationship with Iraq is, I would say, it went from being not so good to being outstanding.
[1:10:36] And we're going to have a long-term relationship with Iraq.
[1:10:39] We're going to have a long-term relationship with a man that will be a great leader.
[1:10:43] You mark my words.
[1:10:44] I knew what I was doing.
[1:10:46] This man is going to be a great leader in the Middle East, beyond Iraq.
[1:10:51] His influence is going to spread all throughout the Middle East.
[1:10:54] And we're very happy about it.
[1:10:56] And we're very happy to have you with us.
[1:10:58] Thank you very much.
[1:11:04] I don't think there's anything much else you can ask us.
[1:11:10] This is a very important meeting.
[1:11:13] It's something I've never done before.
[1:11:15] No lunch was scheduled.
[1:11:16] I said, let's have lunch.
[1:11:17] I've never done that before.
[1:11:19] Sometimes we'll have a lunch scheduled.
[1:11:21] But I've never done this.
[1:11:22] Right, Susie?
[1:11:23] This is a first.
[1:11:24] So I have no idea what we're going to be eating, but it'll be fine.
[1:11:27] But we're doing it because we like the people that we're with.
[1:11:30] Thank you very much.
[1:11:30] Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you,
