[0:00] So we have plenty of time, but maybe not enough time to cover all of this. [0:04] One thing that drives me crazy, Jesse, and I noticed that he did it with his interview with you, [0:09] is that any tough question he doesn't want to answer, he just responds by asking you a different [0:15] question. And it's a tactic that I think is wearing a little thin because we are on week four [0:21] of talking about his ties to the Muslim brotherhood. [0:23] And it makes him look angry. And when you're Muslim in Michigan, you don't want to look angry. [0:28] Or you want to look happy and you want to look optimistic. But he has not done that. [0:33] I agree with AOC. You know, there are crazy people in everyone's family. [0:37] I have crazy people in my family. And my family thinks I'm the crazy one. [0:41] But that's okay. You don't go into an election and not expect people to examine your family tree. [0:52] His family tree, he's got his sister on the watch list, his mom's Muslim brotherhood. [0:57] He's all about Sharia law. So what do you expect? Especially when he's sympathizing with [1:03] Tehran, with Hamas. You know, a lot of the American people want to give him a little bit [1:08] of a political pat down. Up against the wall, Abdul. Let me check you out a little bit. [1:13] But we have to look at these people. And we look at everybody. Whether it's their finances, [1:19] their family, their allegiances, the tattoos they have on their chest, whether they're a vegan, [1:25] whether they're a closet homosexual. If you look at some of the people the Republicans have looked [1:30] at closely, you have Swalwell, you have Joe Biden, you have Frico, you have Plattner. All whites, [1:37] all Christians. And we went pretty hard on those churches, their family, all of their connections, [1:47] their allegiances, whether they were sleeping with the enemy. And so for us to all of a sudden not go [1:53] after this guy because he's Muslim, why would we do that? Because AOC is going to call us racist? [1:58] We're not going to get scared out of examining a guy just because he's Muslim. We're not afraid of [2:02] being called a racist. We've been called a lot worse. Now, Abdul can overcome this. You know, [2:07] he did play football. He was a Vidal auditorian at the University of Michigan. Go Blue, Harold. [2:12] But he doesn't talk about how much he loves the country. When's the last time you heard about [2:16] how great America was? The founders, the constitution. Never talks about that. Talks about [2:22] how he makes fireworks on the fourth. Says he doesn't like capitalism. Wants to remake the United [2:27] States healthcare system into a Canadian one. Wants to erase the border with Mexico. He was [2:32] against acquiring Greenland, Dana. That right there is suspicious. So he has a little work [2:38] to do. The other thing, Emily, is that he, in the primary, when he was up against Haley Stevens, [2:45] she's Jewish. And what he did to try to attack her is to say she would have dual loyalties with [2:52] Israel. And that is how he got the DSA all ginned up. And now he's like, wait, you can't do that to [2:58] me. Like, he did that to her. AOC, excuse me, calling him racist and then trying to make it sound [3:05] like it was from, you know, the genealogical family tree eight generations ago. That has nothing to do [3:10] with it. It's not racism. It is the bare minimum for someone running for a U.S. Senate seat. The [3:17] Brotherhood is a designated terrorist organization. And his sister published that his family supports [3:24] it, has associations within it. So questions about his association and support, it's actually [3:31] fair. And it's not just fair, it's necessary. And following from that would be the necessary [3:35] questions. Does he vow and will he vow to uphold the U.S. Constitution? Because that's a requirement [3:42] for the job, too. And that's in stark contrast to what the Brotherhood stands for. Calling all of [3:47] those law and order and national security questions racism is absolutely the tactic of the radical and [3:54] shrewd left and the idiocy of the lemmings that subscribe to it that helped get billions of [4:00] dollars stolen from Minnesota because scrutiny was racist. And it's what pushed and led to soft bail [4:08] because somehow it's racist to sentence certain people. It's what got race, a component of [4:14] evaluation for a prosecutorial decision and for sentencing. So that is why in part so many [4:20] Democrat cities and states, their criminal justice systems are in tatters. And don't get distracted by [4:27] his stepmother giving an interview with her hajib covered by a sun hat and her full body covering covered [4:33] by Woody's denim vest somehow because it's either a strategy by his campaign, it's a ploy to say, [4:41] oh, the radical right, that they care that he's a Muslim, or it's because they want to, of their [4:48] own accord, sort of push to the side his association. The reality is, just like what you said about what [4:53] he did to the other candidate, we don't care if he's Muslim. We care if he's radical. I don't care if [5:00] he's Muslim. I care if he hates Jews. I care if he hates America. I care if he's anti-Western or how [5:05] closely he hangs out with people that feel that way. So also, can I talk about Obama for a second [5:11] and his discussing him as like, now he's his dad. It's the love of a dad. We saw in 2012 that he [5:20] published that Obama was not the right choice and that he perpetuated war and violated our civil [5:26] liberties and deported more people than any president before him and that the list of his [5:31] failures goes on. So he doesn't get to paint that over with a soft dad comment. He's trying to bury [5:37] it, but it doesn't erase it. Nothing has changed other than him putting a doctor in front of his name [5:43] and trying to be and becoming an angry used car salesman. Harold, I'm not sure that Abdul comparing [5:50] himself to Barack Obama, JFK, and even Jesus Christ, who are radicals in their day, is landing [5:56] the way he thought it would. It's good to be with everybody. Hope he had a good week. And I think [6:00] campaigns at the end of them, whether you're Democrat or Republican, incumbent or not, you're trying to [6:06] get voters to trust that you will carry out the promises that you have made the story of your [6:11] campaign. And as we get near the end here, I remember him being on your show, Abdul being, [6:17] also being on your show, Jesse, and talking about health care and talking about education. [6:23] And here he is at the end of the campaign doing two things, I think, wrong. First of all, [6:28] JFK, when he was questioned about this, he pivoted very quickly, made it clear that he was not speaking [6:34] for the Catholic Church and the Catholic Church was not speaking for him. And he redirected attention [6:38] to the issues that were on voters' minds. Poverty, hunger, America's position in the space race, [6:44] inadequate schools, the spread of communism. If I were the candidate, that's what I would be [6:49] focused on. People—this defense of yourself seems a little odd when the question, I think, [6:56] is a valid one for the reason that Dana raised about what happened during the primary and then [7:00] the—I think the enumeration from Emily here about they're just questions not about your faith, [7:07] but whether or not you are going to put the United States first. Now, you may think it's unfair, [7:12] but something has happened in the campaign where people want you to answer it. Get back to talking [7:16] about the things that got you to where you are. If you stay focused here, you're going to get stuck, [7:22] and you might find yourself on the losing end of this race. One of the reasons, if not the most [7:27] prominent reason, that Democrats find themselves in the position that they do across the country, [7:32] House and Senate candidates, is because people believe, rightly so, and President Trump should [7:37] not take any of this personally, but he made a set of promises and a set of pledges when he run in 2024. [7:41] He put together a coalition of young Hispanics, young people, Hispanics, blacks, and independents [7:47] that Republicans normally don't get in the presidential race, and he just hasn't fulfilled [7:51] the promises. It's not a personal attack on him. It's just how politics works. But if Democrats [7:55] end the campaign the way Abdul El-Sayed is, El-Sayed is defending himself and questioning [8:01] the questioner, you're going to lose. [8:03] Greg, he is really focusing on college towns, and there are many in Michigan, and [8:10] their turnout, even in a special election a couple years ago for a Supreme Court race, [8:15] because the issue was abortion, was really high. [8:17] Well, and here's the deal. We're dealing with something new. [8:20] It's a very smooth combination of red and green. [8:23] You know, red is progressive, green is Islamic, and it's being smushed into a new identity that [8:31] is protected by a grievance armor. It's woke in a burqa. And you've seen it with Ilhan, [8:36] you've seen it with Zoran, and now you see it with him. It's just like they have perfected... [8:41] Bless you. [8:42] Oh, that was so cute. Like a little cat sneezing. [8:47] But Abdul has perfected a staple of the left. He's taken the grievance framework, [8:53] and it's an armor against any question about background and portraying any legitimate concern [8:58] over Islamismists or support for Sharia law as Islamophobic. You know, again, if you're asking [9:05] about ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, and you say that's bigoted, that is on you. It's none of my [9:10] business what you think of it is. I know that it's a concern, especially when you are going [9:14] to be voting on national security issues as a senator. He compares himself to JFK through [9:21] Catholicism. But that doesn't work, because Catholicism lacks the Muslim Brotherhood. It [9:29] didn't have that. It doesn't have branches that are designated terrorists by the United States. [9:35] Catholicism... I'm using the analogy to its extreme. It doesn't have ties to a terrorist [9:42] group like Hamas, or it doesn't have an ideology that runs counter to the West, whether it's, [9:49] you know, rights or, you know, freedom of speech and whatnot. And Catholicism didn't raise national [9:54] security concerns. You know, Islamic ideology does. It's not about faith. It's about ideology that [10:01] may be linked to violence, and it is linked to violence. Sorry. Betting is not bigoted. [10:07] It's common sense, and it's a necessity, and we have every right to do that. By the way, [10:12] I was thinking Trump should come up with a new product to sell. Muslim Brotherhood ties. [10:18] Just little ties that say MB on them, and he'd go, like, I have ties. I have Muslim Brotherhood ties. [10:24] I think it would go really well. Don't give him any new ideas. [10:27] If you combine the colors red and green, do you know what color you get? [10:30] Purple? What? Brown. You know what brown looks like? [10:34] Wow, racist much, Dana? No. I was thinking of your other favorite thing. [10:39] Oh, poop. By the way, your point about Haley Stevens is, like, the most important point there is, [10:46] that all people are doing to him is what he did to Haley Stevens. And also, what, like, we have been [10:53] vilified for much less than links to Muslim Brotherhood. Trump rally attendees and election [10:59] skeptics face just guilt by association over January 6th. Hell, you know, some people who weren't even [11:06] there were vilified. I had a buddy who was in a hotel room in D.C. and his career was ruined. [11:12] So, this idea that this is routine, as you say. But just because you're in a, quote, [11:17] marginalized culture, which isn't marginalized at all, there are billions of Muslims, [11:22] you don't get some kind of special immunity. [11:24] Well, and Abdul is not the only one who did that. Everyone in the DSA. [11:28] Yes. [11:28] You know, he's DSA adjacent, whatever. [11:31] They've done it to everyone. Think of Dan Goldman here. [11:34] They've done it to anyone who took money from AIPAC. [11:36] Mm-hmm. He's med school adjacent. [11:42] He's the latest on YouTube and catch full shows streaming now on Fox 1.
