[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hey there, thanks for tuning into Doc Bricks. I'm Chris, and I just obtained one of the most exclusive LEGO Ninjago items ever, containing one of the rarest, technically exclusive Ninjago minifigures that arguably is rarer than even Lloyd DX, the most expensive Ninjago minifigure, and maybe even rarer than the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Energy Baby Ryu, which was only given away during that one event. So, let me jump into the insane story of how I managed to obtain this, and, well, what it actually contains. So, to commemorate the launch of Ninjago Legends Duskfall, LEGO partnered with the artist known as Futura, which is, you can see his signature right here, to create some in-person art sculptures. They were debuted here in New York, and my buddy Sean, aka BricksMyMind, because he's a member of LEGO's ambassador program, was actually invited to go cover it, and while he was there, he received an exclusive item, the contents of this box. But, strangely enough, he didn't actually get the box itself. Instead, the people who were invited there, mainly art influencers and a couple of other LEGO influencers, were just given the contents of the box. And then, there was an event announced for the premiere of Ninjago Legends Duskfall, for whatever reason, in South Korea. Honestly, I think it's actually really cool LEGO decided to make it a very specific region-exclusive event, and it was a very strange system in order to be able to actually attend the premiere. The way it worked is that you had to have a Korean phone number, you had to enter a raffle, upon which you could be chosen to be lucky enough to attend the event. The event was only hosted twice in one day, and you basically had to get lucky enough to be chosen to go to the event, upon which you would receive this exclusive item. So, here is the thing. The announcement stated that it would contain an exclusive minifigure, which meant that if this was anything like the previous exclusive Ninjago minifigure to an event, the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Powered Up Ryu, this would be almost impossible to obtain on the aftermarket. In fact, I had to spend over $2,000 on my personal copy of the Ryu, which I put out a video on when I got it probably like two, maybe two and a half years ago now, and right now it is basically impossible to find. Because of the nature of that giveaway, it was handed out to kids, kind of impromptu during the event. Not a lot of them actually went for sale online, which honestly I think is like maybe a good thing, because that implies that the kids who got it actually enjoyed that item and were able to play with it, which I guess is sort of the same with this one, but then as a diehard Ninjago collector who wants to own everything Ninjago, who literally just managed to track down the exclusive employee-only Magic of Play Sensei Wu, which is a story for a whole other video, meant that if there was going to be an exclusive minifigure at this event, I had to do whatever it took to go there. Now, in normal circumstances, and I say normal with a grain of salt here, because the circumstances of this event are not normal at all, but genuinely in normal circumstances, I don't care where it is in the world. If LEGO announced there was an in-person Ninjago event anywhere in the world with an exclusive Ninjago minifigure, no matter what, I would be there. Like, listen, I love traveling, I love to travel, I love going everywhere around the world. I would have found an excuse to go to that place. I love visiting Seoul, it's one of my favorite places to go to in the world. I probably would convince some friends and we would all go together. But here is the insane thing. The event took place right smack in the middle of a two-week trip I had already planned, booked, and paid for with all my LEGO friends, a lot of my close LEGO friends. We do an annual LEGO Bros trip every year and we go somewhere different in the world. And the insane thing is that the original idea for the trip was supposed to be Korea and Japan. Like, we were planning to be in Seoul at this exact time, the exact day, with all the other LEGO friends. And we decided not to go to Seoul in Japan because, honestly, it was a long story, but it was a little bit further to go from New York to Asia. We were flying out of New York because I was hosting a big party for my company here in New York that they all were at. And then we were going to go straight from the company party all the way out to the trip. And we realized that we were actually eating up a lot of our days in transit. There weren't really many easy direct flights and they were very long. And we figured that we might as well want to actually maximize the time we have together. And instead of flying all the way to Japan and Korea, instead we chose to go to Europe. So we scrapped Japan and Korea and we chose to go to Spain. And listen, it was an awesome trip, but if I had the choice and I knew about this event beforehand, I definitely would have said, guys, let's just lock into Seoul. And I think they would have locked in two for the exclusive. Now here's the other thing. Obviously, since we already had that trip booked, it was pretty out of the question for me to be able to go there. And I remember when I found out about this event and it said exclusive minifigure, I called up my friend, Jonathan, mini superheroes today. And I said, look, man, out of anyone going on this trip, you will understand the most. Like, let's say this is Lego superheroes. Superheroes is his thing. If they announce an exclusive Lego superheroes minifigure somewhere in the world and it's in the middle of our trip, would you go? And he was like, yeah, without a shadow of a doubt, I'm sorry. Like I would just fly out. I would go on the trip and I would just ditch you guys for like three days to go there. And I said, okay, cool. Like I appreciate you saying that because I would hate to ditch the group, but I am seriously considering flying to Seoul for like three days of our trip. And granted, we were traveling for like, some of them were only there for a week, but others were going to be traveling with me for two weeks. So it would have been like a three day little excursion. I fly out the day before I'm there for the day event. And I would fly back to Europe the next day. And I think that would be very silly to do because I already paid for all the hotels and all my flights and I would just be losing money. But I was looking at the cost of it. And I honestly thought that if this was a genuine exclusive minifigure, the cost of that minifigure on the aftermarket, like to get that online probably is going to be more expensive than a round trip flight from Europe to Korea. Like realistically speaking, that thing could be multiple thousands of dollars. Baby Ryu is one thing, but that was a San Diego Comic-Con thing that was given out to way more people. And frankly, in the US, there's just more of a market for these collectibles. This was given away in Korea only. So that meant that if this was given away at a one day event to kids, there's not only a chance that it just will never appear on the aftermarket at all, like I'll never be able to find this online. But even if it does, it's probably going to be ridiculously expensive. Like I could see an item like this if it was a true exclusive minifigure going for like five, six, even $7,000. I mean, we all know how crazy the market has gotten for event exclusives. And those are the ones in the US where let's be real, there are just more scalpers in the US and like more scalpers at Comic-Cons who are going to be like, yeah, I'm going to get this. But this was an invite only event. You had to RSVP, you had to be chosen to go. I was like, my odds of getting this are so low. I feel like I have to go to Korea to get it. And then I started to speculate a little bit more because what had happened is that here, like I genuinely did everything I could to make this event happen. I contacted a friend of mine, Koopy Bricks, who is a big South Korean Lego influencer. And I was like, hey, this is totally random, but I don't have a South Korean phone number. You do. Can you try to sign us up for this event? And if we get chosen, I will fly to Korea. I'll go there with you. And then we can like hang out in Korea. And he was totally down for that. Shout out Koopy. He was super cool. And he's, I don't think he's the biggest Ninjago fan, but I just kind of message him and I'm like, hey, would you like help me out with this? And he was very cool. He was totally willing to help, which I'm, I'm very grateful for. So he applied. And then the crazy thing is my buddy, Aaron shout out Vexel builds. So Aaron was in Korea at this time. He loves South Korea. So he was in Korea at this time, but he was leaving Korea two days before the event. He would just, it was his own personal vacation and he just happened to be in South Korea. But again, two days before the event, he was gone, which is again, this is insanity. Like first I was going to be there and then we changed our minds. Then my buddy was going to be there, but then he leaves two days prior. So I said, my guy, you love making friends with strangers. Can you befriend any Korean, like anyone on the street? I don't care how you meet them. You meet them at a bar. I do not care. Can you befriend any Korean individual and please get their phone number and explain, like, I will genuinely pay them to go to this event and ship me this item. Like I will give them money to do this. Uh, like honestly, like whatever the price it takes, like I will ask them to do it because it's probably going to be cheaper than trying to hunt this down on the aftermarket myself. And so he said, dude, like no guarantees, but I'll see what I can do. Day one, Aaron makes a friend. He's like, hey, uh, this is really weird, but I need your number because my friend duck bricks needs you to do something and he'll pay you to do it. And to this individual's credit, they locked in. Like, this was a random stranger that Aaron met and he was like, hey, you seem cool. Like, can I have your number and can you try to sign up for this event and go and get this item? And they were like, yeah, you know, sure. Why not? Like, this sounds fun. Like, yeah, if I'm getting paid, sure. Uh, and it was great. Like that was, that was a crazy lock-in genuinely. That was a Hail Mary. I did not think that was going to happen, but then here's the insane thing, right? So Aaron's friend goes to the event. Uh, so, so first of all, we have to backtrack here. As I mentioned, this was a raffle-only system. So Koopy gets back to me and he's like, hey, look, I, I tried. Unfortunately, like, uh, I did not get in the raffle. I didn't hear back from them at all. And the thing is, I think what happened is that you had to put your age when you applied. And I have a feeling that they pretty much only let kids into this. And like, all of us who are adults trying to do this, like 26, 27, 28, 29, 30-year-olds trying to get in, like by themselves. And I think the organizers of the event were like, no, that's, that's weird. Why are we going to let like random grown men into this Ninjago event? This is for children. Like, we're not going to let them in, which is fair. Like, I, I understand that. So Koopy didn't get in and Aaron's friend also did not get into the event. So I'm like, oh man, I'm, I'm cooked. Like it might be over. I might never be able to get this. And then the insane thing is Aaron's friend just goes to the event, just does not get the RGP. They just show up to the event and get some footage, but they're like not let in because they didn't like get a ticket. They were not part of the raffle to get in. So they kind of loiter around the event. And essentially what happens is that one of the members of the staff notices they are loitering around waiting for people to leave so they can like try to pay them to get this from them. And the staff like calls security and kicks them out. They're like, you can't do this. Like you cannot like ask people to sell you their exclusive item. Like this is only for the event. You can't do this. So Aaron's like new friend is like, look, I tried. I was there. Um, I, and, and they did try. They actually got footage, which you can see in this video. They went to the event and they did their best, but they were like, yeah, you know what? Um, this is not going to happen. I did my best. It's not, I can't, I couldn't get it. Sorry. I tried genuinely. They did everything they could. And here's the thing. Imagine if I had flown to South Korea, did not get in the raffle, showed up at the event and then gotten security called on me because I was trying to buy it off of people. Listen, that would have been a really funny story, but I think I would have been feeling very, very bad about the entire situation because it would have been a huge waste of money and it was not guaranteed. Like if I had gotten the raffle, if I had actually gotten in with Koopy, uh, using his, his phone and everything, and we had been able to go, I would have flown there. I would have flown there to get this absolutely a hundred percent. I would have done it, but because we didn't get the raffle, there was no guarantee. I could actually even enter the event. And I just did not want to risk having to like pay some kid to get it. I was like, I don't, I don't know if that's going to happen. So that was the, that was the story. And I was like, yeah, you know what? Um, we'll just see this one. This one might be a lost cause. And then absolutely. It was crazy. Like out of nowhere, Aaron's friend contacts him and they're like, Hey, so I found this on the Korean marketplace and they refused to tell Aaron how much they paid. They refused to charge him money for it. They were just like, I'm just going to give this to you. Like, you're cool. Like we became friends. I'm going to give this to you as a gift. Like the next time we meet up. Uh, and so they did, they met up in Asia and, and Aaron retrieved it from them. And it was a, it was a complete gift, which, which I think implies that someone put this up on a like Korean version of eBay, whatever their marketplace is. And they probably put it up for like, maybe like 10, 15, $20 to the point where like Aaron's friend knew how desperate he was. And to extent, like I was to get this that they were like, you know what? I'm just not even going to charge you for it. Like we made friends because of this. Like we would never have become friends. If not to like, let me just, let me just give this to you. So they just give this to Aaron for free. And then Aaron shows up in New York and he just gives it to me. And of course I was like, Aaron, I'm going to treat you with like a great meal, which I did. I took him out to some amazing restaurants in New York to thank him for his trouble to, to bring this to me. But that is the insane story of how one of the most exclusive Lego Ninjago items ended up in my hands. Now, here's the thing. I did not know what was going to be inside of this. I suspected it was going to be something like what was given to Sean at the New York event, which was not quite as exciting as an exclusive minifigure. Yes, technically it is an exclusive minifigure, but only like technically. You're about to find out what this is as we do the unboxing. But personally, after knowing what this is, I'm very, very glad I did not fly to Korea to get it. I think that this, this would be a big waste of money. I think it's a cool item. Don't get me wrong. It's, it's an interesting item, but it is by, by far like it's not really an exclusive minifigure. So you know what, enough beating around the bush. Let me just go ahead and unbox this and let's go ahead and see what's inside. All right. So now let's answer the big question. What's in the box? First of all, we will take a look at the box. You can see the signature of the artist Futura, who created his own basically like OC. That is a Lego minifigure that looks like a lot of the other statues he's made, but in minifig form. And that's kind of tied into Ninjago Legends. I'm still not entirely sure what that all has to do with Ninjago, but I think it's cool. They're collaborating with artists to create like modern street art and modern art based on Ninjago or inspired by it. Of course, Duskfall and Embers and Ashes is all about the Ninja of the future. So they've changed it to Ninja of the Futura. And I, I almost, I really like the idea that like someone in the Lego marketing team was like, well, that's about the Ninja of the future. Are there any artists that are named something future related that we can just like hire to do this? And there was, there's, there was Futura. So they got him. So it is definitely one of the most bizarre Ninjago collaborations and promotions here on the back. It simply says Ninja of the Futura with 2026 copyright there. And now let's go ahead and open it up. It also says not for resale, but whoever, uh, whoever was able to get this one for me did not pay attention to that particular sign. Let's see if we can get, uh, our camera to focus here. Yeah, there we go. Not for resale. So, uh, that was, that was not obeyed, but a shout out to the person that did not obey that because now I'm very grateful because it was resold. It is in my collection and I do not even know how much money it was resold for because the friend of Aaron's refused to tell them how much money it was and just gave it to him as, as a gesture of friendship. Isn't, isn't it beautiful? And now it's in the duck bricks collection. It's really the cycle of life, how things work like that. Honestly, I actually do want to call out a few pretty interesting things about the box that I only am really just noticing. The artwork on the box is specifically tied into Dragon's Fury 2027. And we know this because of these particular symbols that are used. So if we actually zoom in a little bit closer here, you might notice that on the box, you actually have the symbol of the source dragon icon of balance. This is actually going to be our main collectible for next year. We know that thanks to the leaked Destiny's Bounty. You can see it maybe a little bit better there with the curved hilt, which is really cool. And then here you can see a graphic, once we kind of focus up here, of the ninja fighting their evil counterparts. So right there, you can see like a good ninja versus evil ninja. You can see the white versus black right in the center there. And that is really interesting to actually see factored into the logo here. And then kind of hunting around, seeing if there's anything else interesting I can find. There is the Wukuru logo, which is cool. I feel like we haven't seen that in a while. And then finally, we have this kind of alternating dragon symbol. So if we can get the camera to focus up here, this symbol right in the corner of the box almost looks very similar to the actual spinner kind of attachment elements that we see for these Mujitsu sets nowadays. But specifically, it actually seems like it represents balance, like the yin and yang white and dark dragons there, symbolizing balance and kind of hearkening to the suits the ninja are actually wearing this entire upcoming season. So I think it's really cool they actually factored in some of the early box art. I imagine that I'm not really sure if that was intentional or they just happened to have it ready. But yeah, there you can see there are some hints towards what we're going to see in Dragon's Fury next year, which is a very cool. But opening up the box, you can see that we have a sticker sheet, but this is no ordinary sticker sheet. No, you see, we're going to get to the symbols in a little bit, but you'll notice some very interesting text on the bottom. And you can see on the bottom, it says stickers print and cut white PVC free torso stickers, Casper Mortensen, shout out Casper Mortensen, I guess, who designed these. They were printed on 8/12/2026. So that is August 12th, 2026 in European time. And the event itself was a few days after that. So this is very funny because they basically just printed these, or I guess they were printed on the 13th. They were designed, I guess this implies the print order was placed on the 12th. They were printed the next day. And I have seen these stickers before, personally. But I don't think like stickers like these with the text on the bottom, but I don't think a lot of Lego fans who are not like, even like internal Lego fans know about what these are. The only reason I know about what this actually is, is because number one, when I won Lego Masters season four in the US a couple of years back, a Lego set was designed off of my winning final build. And I got a chance to go to Lego headquarters. I got to go to the innovation house where they designed new sets, which was very cool. I did not get to go very deep in. I got to go to the lobby and I got to go to a conference room on the inside and I saw no new products other than my own, but it was very cool. But specifically when I was there, I noticed that sticker sheets for new and upcoming sets had text on the bottom and they had a slightly different material than normal Lego stickers. They feel like they're prototypes because this is a prototype Lego sticker sheet. And the other reason why I know what this is, is because a year or so back Lego sent myself and back when I was still part of the Lego Ambassador Network, Lego sent me and a ton of other Lego influencers, Thunderfang, like many months early. It was in, I believe, October of 2024 and the set released in March of 2025. So they sent us Thunderfang, but the stickers also came on a sheet like this because they were a prototype. They were not in production yet. So they came with the text on the bottom and we were told very, very strictly, we were told it was very important that the public does not see this text. We were told you cannot show that. It is prototype material. It was so secretive that we had to send the Thunderfangs back to Lego after we were done filming because they did not want this out in the public, which is why I find it even funnier that they just gave this away. Like this was a public giveaway to everyone and they did not care. Like Bro's government name is now out there because they gave this out to people. And I think that's really strange. It's very bizarre. I've never, ever, ever heard of an official Lego item containing a prototype sticker from the Lego Innovation House. Like this is the Lego Innovation House printer and it is what Lego designers used to prototype stickers. But this is now an official Lego item. So bizarre. I, I, I cannot imagine, I can't fathom why they didn't even crop that off. Like that was a simple cut job, but no, they just threw it, which, which implies that this was a very rushed job because the ones that Sean got, I believe did not have the text on the bottom. The New York event ones did not have the text. It was, I think that they did cut the stickers for that one. So I guess in the New York one, which actually took place earlier than the Korea one, they did bother to cut it, but then maybe the Korea one, like who knows, it could have been lost in translation. Maybe they were told to cut it and they didn't. Regardless, this is how it came. The item inside though is a minifigure and it is probably the least interesting exclusive minifigure that you could possibly get because what this is is simply a plain white legs, plain white torso, plain head and the Sora's elemental spinjitsu hood, dual molded in gold and white. And this is meant to be a ninja that you can customize. So obviously the entire point of this is that you can choose to use any of these stickers here to place on the minifigure torso, or I guess the implication is that you're supposed to customize your own minifigure. You're supposed to draw on it or maybe paint on it, which is exactly what Futura did, the artist, for his giant upscaled minifigure. And if you look at these symbols here, this is actually very similar to the minifigure factory prints. They're a little bit different, but you can see all of these symbols of the source dragons, I guess, except balance, because balance is dead. So you've got flow, you have life, motion, energy, strength, and focus there. And so those are the six out of these seven living source dragons. And then this symbol here is the symbol of Futura. So that is like his sort of his signature that he puts on all of his work. So you have a ninja robe here. That is really cool. My copy actually came with the sticker on there. I guess the kid put the sticker on it and then their parents said, you know what, let's sell this on Korean eBay. I guess that's the only explanation there. But I can't argue with technically free, but I guess it did cost me quite a bit in food. But you know, what goes around comes around. I wanted to thank my friend for all the effort he put into getting it. But you can see the symbol right there that is supposed to be a ninja suit with the Futura logo. So I guess that is like Futura as a ninja. And then, of course, all these other symbols are similar to the elemental symbols that they use for the ninja, but they're like a little bit different. Like I know that one they use for, I think, Zane or Nia. I think this one's Nia. This one they use for Zane. And they're the Ninjargon symbols, but this one's really weird. I don't really know what exactly that one is supposed to represent. I guess it's like kind of like holes, but I don't know why it's like bent out like that. And that one's J's. You've got Lloyd's here. So clearly, and like there's Kai's, right? Like that's the fire symbol for Kai in Ninjargon. So clearly these are supposed to be the ninja symbols, but that one's just kind of throwing me off a bit. And then you just have like two Futura logos there, because I guess they kind of like ran out of ideas. Like for the last one, they're like, man, we did the we did the six source dragons. We did the six ninja. What did we do for the last one? Well, I'll just take his logo and put it on there twice. So yeah, not, not the most interesting item. And definitely one of these strangest giveaways ever. You can literally see the logo of like, is that Expedia? I don't know what that's like. Yeah. Whatever print company they use to like have this material be bought from like the logo is still on the back there. It's very bootleg, very prototype, shocking that this was an official item that was given away. But the idea is that you take the sticker, you peel it off and you put it on the minifigure torso. So I'm going to actually try to be really careful with this. We're going to get a live application right here onto the minifigure. And I'm going to really, that was not, not a great start there, but I'm going to really try to line this up. So, okay, come on, let's focus. Okay. We are going to put on what I think is probably the most interesting sticker. And that is this one right here for the Futura Ninja. I'm actually pretty happy with that. I think that is pretty, pretty straightened up there. So there is our Futura Ninja. I've knocked off the hood over there, but let me go ahead and grab that here. Yeah. Here is our Ninja of the Futura right here. So it is such a strange item. It is an official Lego minifigure that technically like this is an exclusive minifigure in the sense that it has an exclusive sticker on its torso. And I will be getting multiple plain white torsos just to be able to put the sticker on. But yeah, it is so bizarre. What a strange exclusive item. And yeah, I mean, now let's just kind of go ahead and wrap up because I don't have much else to say about this bizarre Lego item. So here's a look at multiple torsos showcasing the quote unquote exclusive minifigs in this set. And then finally, the last items included were a prismatic blade as well as one of the classic Lego castle swords, AKA the ones used by the Dragonians. It was cool they had accessories in here as well, but overall, a very, very strange and bizarre Lego item. And as one final note, one thing I am actually just realizing, which is really annoying is that the Seoul Korea version is a little different than the New York version because the sticker sheet was basically identical. It had the same amount of stickers. It had the ninja of the Futura symbol there. It had all of these source dragon icons, all the ninja icons, but this last torso is actually exclusive to Korea. This one only came in the Korean item here. And unfortunately, that means that there was a different torso that came with the ones that actually were in the New York giveaway. As you can see on screen right now, the final sticker that came in the New York giveaway was actually the signature of the artist Futura. So they removed that for the Korean one and instead went with two copies of the logo, which is pretty unfortunate because now my collection is officially missing a sticker. And yes, I know I could like find a PNG of his signature online and like make my own sticker and print it. But as a diehard Ninjago fan, I will know it is not the same. So listen, if there's any influencer who went to the Ninjago event in New York and doesn't care about their free item, I know Sean mentioned he was literally the only person there that cared about Ninjago. I think everybody else was an art influencer or maybe a Lego influencer who didn't care that much about Ninjago. I am in the market for this. I guess there's the the not for resale sticker on it. But listen, if you want to trade for anything or if you just want to contact me and we'll figure something out, I really all I need is one sticker. You can keep the rest. I just need one sticker from your sheet for my collection to be complete. So the call is officially out. I I highly doubt you'll be answered. This is the kind of thing that really just does not appear for sale. Like I would doubt that this would ever go up for sale ever again because it's so so niche and limited. But hey, you know what? Someone has that last sticker. Let me know. But otherwise, here is the complete lineup of all of the Ninja of the Futura exclusive stickered torsos. All right. And yeah, with that, you now know what is inside this this item. It is the the sticker sheet and it is the minifigure with the golden ninja mask on the inside. And annoyingly, like technically now there are like two different variants of this that I need to collect because there's the one that like Sean got in New York in the bag and then there's this version. But here's the thing. I do not care as long as I own one copy of of the contents inside. That's all I need. I'm very grateful to the the insane like efforts from from my friends and from a friend that I've never even met living in Korea to get this item for me. Thank you to the person. I don't know if you're even I don't think they're even a Lego fan. I don't think they're going to be watching this video. But thank you, random Korean stranger who Aaron befriended and got me this. Thank you, Aaron, for all the effort that you put in to be able to have me add this to my add this to my collection. I'm I'm really grateful, honestly. And I feel like it's just a really cool story to have been able to tell like how just like random friends like pulled together to be able to to let me add this to my collection. And I feel like that's really what the Lego community is all about. I am very, very happy about this. And it's a really cool item. Now, the strange thing is like this is this is a strange item. Like this is probably the strangest item that they've done as a quote unquote exclusive. And as I mentioned, like clearly you can see the username of the Lego employee that printed this out. You can see like this is just the the Lego sticker printing machine. As I mentioned, I am astonished that this was actually given away as an official production item. I think that this is not typically the kind of thing Lego allows to be given away as a production item. I can't imagine like what the production process was of this. I didn't even bother to cut off like the bottom part showing that this is a temp sticker sheet. It's so bizarre. I'm really confused. And yeah, it definitely is the strangest thing. Technically, it's an exclusive minifigure. I would not have advertised this as an exclusive minifigure. I would have said exclusive gift or exclusive giveaway. Minifigure is a stretch. I guess, yes, there is a minifigure in here and you can customize it with exclusive stickers. But really, the only exclusive part of this is the packaging and the sticker sheet. Now, what I will do is I am now going to take off all of these stickers, as I mentioned, and put them on white minifigure torsos. So I'll show that at the end of this video here because I do want to display these. I think Lego is meant to be played with and stuff like this. It's like, yeah, I want to use the sticker sheet. Will I regret that at some point? Maybe, but also like I think it'll be cooler to have on minifig torsos than to just like say, Hey, I have this exclusive sticker sheet. No, I want like all, how many minifigs is this? This is a one, two, three, four, five. I want all 15 exclusive minifigures on my wall. I want all 15 of them lined up. So I think that's going to look way cooler. It's going to have a more visual impact on my collection wall. So I'm going to make all these minifigures. And I think that will be a really cool way to display this. And I'll, of course, like have the packaging and I guess the empty sticker sheet, I'll keep, because it's kind of a novelty on my Ninjago shelves, but altogether, what a bizarre item. I honestly don't think that anybody has ever documented this item other than me. I don't think anybody ever will. I don't know anyone else who has this item other than another Lego reseller who contacted me and offered it to me for sale for close to $2,000, which honestly is like probably fair. Like I would believe that this is probably worth around $2,000. And I think they sold it to multiple people. This person was able to get, I don't know how this person got it, but there's a Lego reseller that got like four of these or three of these, I think, and said, "Hey, I have only three. Two of them have been sold. I'm holding on to one for you." Which is very kind of them, because I would have paid that amount. Like just straight up, I would have paid close to $2,000 for this if I wasn't able to get it through other means. And I said, "Look, I got one, but thank you so much for reserving one for me. I'm very grateful. I release you. Go and sell it to someone else." So I guess like at the very least three people out there paid upwards of close to $2,000. I don't remember the exact amount, but it was, it was a lot of money for this. So maybe like clearly diehard Ninjago fans did pay for this. And if you were one of them and you're willing to, to explain like in the comments, let me know what your experience getting this has been, because obviously mine has like a bit of a crease on the box, but you know me, I don't care about packaging that much. And the sticker was kind of already on there lopsided. So I'm going to have to straighten that up. But for the cost of treating my friend to several nice dinners here in New York, I think this was well worth it. Although let's be honest, the cost of treating him to several nice dinners in New York, is that like $2,000? Because one of them was like 500. One of them was eight. So maybe we are actually close to the $2,000 value after all. But listen, it was, it was good memories and good dinners shared with friends. And I guess half that dinner was for me. So, uh, you know, I also got to enjoy some good food out of it. And, uh, yeah, this is, this is such a cool item. I'm a big, big fan of, uh, of, well, of Ninjago, which is why I needed this. I'm not the biggest fan of this item. I think it's a weird one, but I also think that collectors would have been way more upset if it was a true exclusive minifigure. Like if it was something that was truly like a printed torso exclusive, even like an exclusive printed torso, I think would have been, um, very annoying for, for a lot of Ninjago fans who would have wanted that torso to collect. So I'm almost glad it's this kind of like weird, like kind of strange art thing that not even a diehard Ninjago fan might care about. So only if you're like insane collector minded, like me, would you actually want this? And otherwise it's a cool thing for those who went to the event, but it's not something that you're going to really, really want like the energy, right? Or something like that. So I think it was the right choice for the event. Like obviously now it's in my hands. I wish it was something cooler, but I can understand why it is what it is. And I'm glad that it isn't anything that is way cooler because then people wouldn't be able to get it. So that's all for this video. Uh, thank you so much for watching. I was really, really pleased with being able to put this together. You can see a quick clip of what all of the torsos look like with these stickers applied. Very excited about that. Oh, and one other thing I'll shout out, like not only while Aaron was in Korea, did he get me this, but he also got me, he went to a random Lego shop in Korea, which we will be going back to later this year. I was so enamored by the store that I literally booked a trip to Korea with him in like two months to go back and see it myself. But they had some Korean Lego Brickmaster Ninjago Rise of the Snakes books, and I got this one because I thought it was cool. So there's my other South Korean Lego exclusive there, but I think that is a cool item. Obviously not quite as cool as this, but this also was a result of that trip as well as a ton of other Lego stuff that honestly maybe should be a video of its own of that haul from that store. But we'll get back to the Ninja of the Futura. And I hope you enjoyed this very quick look at one of these strangest exclusive Lego Ninjago items that I own in my collection. Can't wait to see what Ninjago Legends, I think it's what Embers and Ashes, the show coming out next year, that's the name of the show. Duskfall obviously, uh, well, I'll save my Duskfall thoughts for another video. I have a lot of thoughts on how they advertised and pulled that off, but as an exclusive for itself, it's very cool. I'll talk to you again very soon. Be sure to like and subscribe for even more Lego news, review, discussion, and analogies coming your way very soon. And if you've made it this far in the video, comment W Vexel for getting me, Aaron, aka Vexel, for getting me this Lego item. So W Vexel, W Vexel's friend, thank you so much. Good night, Tri-State Area.
