"going to do it's primarily a jog through just coming off the Sunday night game and then what we have never want to look too far ahead but you got to be mindful of just the overall workload of what we got to come and then we'll come back tomorrow and have a really good practice pattern practice yeah"

[8:37] going to do it's primarily a jog through just coming off the Sunday night game and then what [8:42] we have never want to look too far ahead but you got to be mindful of just the overall workload [8:48] of what we got to come and then we'll come back tomorrow and have a really good practice pattern [8:51] practice yeah we'll see we'll work through it do you have any feel for what kind of he's cut [9:11] himself in or is that to be determined here out there no I think I have a pretty good feel I mean [9:15] he's been working with our strength coaches well I mean he's been in the building it's just now he [9:25] can get involved in some of the walk-through stuff and some of the team stuff so but yeah it was great [9:31] to have him back out there when you see Detroit's defense statistically speaking does it probably see [9:42] some some challenges there oh yeah I think their style of play it's it's all over the tape these [9:48] guys play hard they rush hard they hit you hard you know they've given up some big explosive plays [9:54] but I thought you know certainly especially looking at the last game versus Arizona I mean they were [10:01] they were firing away so it's always a challenge going there and we know that there will be ready [10:08] for us yeah that's pretty I mean pretty much it is you just try to simulate that crowd noise as best [10:22] as possible but that place is usually rocking pretty good and it's hard to good thing is we've had a [10:28] couple you know road games where we've had to deal with that so you get some practice with that that's [10:34] something that we train all offseason we have days where we go on the silent count and all that and [10:40] um so I think our guys will be ready for it do you think you guys have handled that so far this season [10:47] when you've been in those environments well some good some not so good but I think that's like whether [10:52] you're home or away it doesn't it doesn't really matter um it's about executing each individual play [10:58] and the key is just getting all 11 on the same on the same page we've had a couple buss on the road [11:06] we've had buss at home we just got to make sure that the communication is on point that the guys [11:11] understand their rules and the details of which um the play needs to be executed [11:17] yeah I think but it's not just Savion I think definitely he adds that element that um he can do a [11:33] a lot of those things but you know I have confidence in Bo and J Mike and MG if need be [11:39] uh to be able to do some of that stuff as well uh it's just dependent upon what we're trying to get [11:53] done so um you you want to have multiple people that can do some of those types of things in the [12:01] event that you know unfortunately somebody gets injured um but yeah I think it's just you know [12:08] it's a game by game thing balance being excited having Josh back at practices while also understanding [12:14] the seriousness of the allegations and the outside noise yeah I I mean you know I I think [12:21] a lot of times you get in a situation where you might not make the right decision and I don't think [12:28] that I think people learn from their mistakes and I think he's extremely remorseful um and I do believe [12:37] that he's a good person I've been around him quite a bit and um you know I just I believe in second chances [12:45] on his back like the play calling for JG that'll change drastically how much does your play calling [12:52] or approach going into Sunday change knowing the dynamic back area why do you assume that it's going [12:57] to change drastically dynamic play okay um I think it's you know I again it's week by week I do think [13:06] that Jameer Gibbs and they got multiple weapons whether it's Laporta Amon Ra Jameson Williams um I [13:14] think uh Isaac what is it Tesla or it's not Tesla but you know Isaac's a heck of a player Jared Goff's [13:22] playing um very well as as well uh at a MVP type level so they've got multiple weapons but certainly [13:32] Jameer is I mean he's there's not too many guys like him in regards to his ability to break tackles [13:40] to you know reverse field we watched a clip today uh of him reversing field versus the Jets so it's [13:47] all 11 playing as one I mean you got to swarm this guy you got to try to bottle him up as best you can [13:52] knowing that there's going to be moments where he's going to get loose and you got to find a way to get [13:57] him on the ground but I also think they got a really good offensive line so I mean it's it's an [14:02] explosive offense it was more so said like if Micah comes back like that changes what the defense [14:08] looks like for you guys getting Josh back does that change anything for you in terms of oh I got you [14:14] um you know I again I think we'll have a plan in place um whether or not he he can go and then [14:23] you know we'll adjust from there but yeah I think it changes something a little bit in regards to you [14:28] you've got a dynamic back that you want to get the ball to and um you know let them let them go to [14:33] work do you have to be careful your offense's identity seems to be the deep shots and how you [14:41] vertically stretch the field and now getting your running back back that you don't stray too far from [14:46] that or how do you balance that well it just depends how they're playing us I think a lot of times you [14:51] yeah certainly you're going to try to do things to to create it and generate explosive plays but I think [14:58] at the same time you've seen us we've been running the ball too and it's you know hasn't been as [15:04] effective but we're still committed to trying to run the ball because we saw the effects of you know [15:10] week three whatever of us trying to just air it out every play and it wasn't very effective [15:16] you said after the game at four and two like you you know even at one and two just everyone has to [15:22] band together and stick together how impressed have you been of now this team's won three in a row [15:27] staying in that game by game basis because after you start one and two you could think things are [15:32] going into the deep end after you win three you know you could think things are incredible like [15:36] how you got to stay focused on what's right in front of you and you got that's taking the right [15:41] approach each and every day which those guys have done an unbelievable job with um and the mentality is [15:47] always to go one and oh I mean you can't worry about your record you having some problems back there [15:52] um it's all right uh yeah you just you you can't worry about anything else outside of what's right [16:01] in front of you and we know we have a nfc north rival that is is a really good football team and we [16:08] got to play our best in order to go on the road and get a win what can you do this week to work on [16:12] the drops uh you just keep working I mean all the guys you look around the league like what do you [16:27] want us to do bill to to address the drops I mean it it happens it's football it happens as long as [16:34] guys are using the right mechanics and the right and attacking the football like they happen and [16:40] yeah do we want them to happen no if they're using poor fundamentals letting the ball get in their body [16:46] letting the ball cross their eyes then yeah you work on that stuff but it's it's the same stuff we do [16:52] every day we go out there and we hammer fundamentals and you know sometimes we make plays and sometimes [16:59] we don't but I think that's everybody in the league um you know I I have a lot of confidence in our guys [17:06] that when called upon they're going to make the plays and if they drop the ball you know what I want [17:11] them to do I want them to reset and go play the next play I know you obviously there's no personnel [17:18] change anything or just anything to your piece because no I I think it's just about the details the [17:30] fundamentals I mean we've we have added a few more minutes of individual time whether or not that [17:36] makes that big of a difference or not I do think it's important just to make sure that you know you [17:42] you got to trust your technique and your fundamentals in the heat of battle and you can't go rogue and we [17:48] I mean there's examples every week of when we don't trust our training and it just it's a mess so [17:57] um it's just the the guys got to believe in it and they got to work on their craft um and I think [18:05] they've been doing a much better job just the start that Jared's been off to this year especially with [18:11] how he's been protecting the football yeah he's done an unbelievable job I mean uh to not throw an [18:17] interception all season long uh five games in for them is pretty impressive and he does a great job [18:23] in terms of just if you give him a sliver of light he's gonna he's gonna thread the needle he does [18:29] such a good job of getting the ball out of his hands obviously he's got a lot of trust in his [18:33] his wideouts his tight ends they find different ways to get the ball to the back to the ball the [18:39] ball to the halfback um and he just is he's he's playing really good football to follow up on the [18:47] question earlier like when you have guys that just don't quit what is it like as the coaching staff for [18:52] you guys we said they buy into the energy they have to work obviously to see those results what does it do [18:57] for the coaching staff's confidence where you guys come in the building every day and they're just [19:02] ready to work what does that do for your guys's morale too as that coaching staff oh it's fun to [19:06] come to work with people that are just determined to find ways to get better and I think that's the [19:12] whole key throughout the course of the season you can't put too much stock stock into what has [19:17] happened I mean you got to learn from it but it's just can you move forward can you progressively get [19:22] better throughout the course of the season and the teams that are able to do that are typically [19:26] the last one standing so um you know you just it's a week-to-week league you you take care of [19:34] business everybody loves you you don't then there's a lot of noise and that's just that's life in the [19:40] National Football League so you got to try to do your best whether it's good to to drown it out and [19:46] same when it's bad so just taking it one day at a time and just focused on yourself as an individual [19:52] to get better because that helps the collective of the team have a good one
