As you know, we're doing very well in the polls, and we're [1:55] leading in many, many states, including the great state of Florida. And we do expect to [2:06] win Florida. I really expect it. It's going to happen. We're going to win Florida. We're [2:11] going to win back the White House. And we are going to be so happy with winning again, [2:17] right, for a country. Our country is going to win again. But today, we have some very, [2:26] very... [2:26] serious matters to discuss. Let me begin by thanking our incredible law enforcement [2:35] officers who don't get the credit they deserve. But when I'm president, they will get the [2:49] credit they deserve. What a fantastic job they do. What a fantastic job they do. Incredible. [3:01] There have been Islamic terrorist attacks in Minnesota and New York City, and in New [3:08] Jersey. These attacks, and many others, were made possible because of our extremely open [3:16] immigration system which fails to properly vet and screen the individuals or families [3:23] coming into our country. I've got to be careful. [3:29] Attack after attack, from 9-11 to San Bernardino, we have seen how failures to screen who is [3:39] entering the United States puts all of us in danger. Unfortunately, even if we look at the [3:39] United States puts all of our citizens, everyone in this room, at danger. [3:47] So let me state very, very clearly, immigration security is national security. [4:03] My opponent has the most open borders policy of anyone ever to seek the presidency. [4:16] As Secretary of State, she allowed thousands of criminal aliens to be released into our [4:22] communities because their home countries wouldn't take them back. [4:27] They didn't want them. [4:29] They didn't want them. [4:31] They were too bad. [4:33] They said, keep them, United States. [4:35] We don't want them. [4:37] And she did nothing about it. [4:40] Now she wants a 550 percent increase in Syrian refugees above the high numbers we already [4:51] have. [4:55] All together. [4:56] And she wants to turn this into an economic crisis. [5:06] These are the biggest problems in our lives that we face. [5:17] The first thing she had planned was to bring in a lot of refugees for her campaign this [5:22] week. [5:23] She had already promised her plan would bring in 620,000 refugees in her first term, with [5:25] no effective way to screen them or vet them. [5:26] Law enforcement said there's no way. [5:27] Her plan would cost $400 billion in terms of lifetime welfare, benefit and entitlement [5:28] an applicant's worldview and thus their likelihood of being recruited into the terror cause at [5:36] some later date, which is going to happen in many, many cases. [5:40] This isn't just a matter of terrorism. [5:43] This is also really a question of quality of life. [5:48] We want to make sure we are only admitting people into our country who love our country. [5:55] We want them to love our country and we want them to love our people. [6:12] We support immigration that strengthens and uplifts our nation. [6:16] People who come here, they support our values and they want to uphold our Constitution. [6:22] My highest duty as president is to protect our citizens and to uphold the Constitution [6:29] of the United States. [6:38] I will honor that duty to the fullest extent every single day. [6:59] It's just a plain fact that our current immigration system makes no real attempt to determine [7:05] the views of the people entering. [7:08] Since 9-11, hundreds of immigrants and their children from high-risk regions have been [7:14] implicated in terrorism and terrorist-related activity in the United States, hundreds and [7:20] hundreds. [7:21] The Senate Subcommittee on Immigration, chaired by Senator Jeff Sessions, who is a truly great [7:28] senator and man, has released this information in great detail and we encourage you all to [7:37] look it up. [7:38] Now we learn today that another 858 immigrants from dangerous countries have slipped into [7:46] our country and have been granted full citizenship despite pending deportation orders. [7:53] These are people that were supposed to be deported and they were given full citizenship. [8:04] They made a mistake. [8:08] This is totally unacceptable. [8:11] Altogether, there are nearly one million individuals in the United States with deportation orders [8:18] who have not yet been removed. [8:23] In the 20th century, the United States defeated fascism, Nazism, and communism. [8:30] Now we must deport. [8:32] We must defeat radical Islamic terrorism. [8:47] Yet the President of the United States or my opponent and both won't even say the words [8:54] radical Islamic terror. [9:00] In fact, Hillary Clinton talks tougher about my supporters than she does about Islamic [9:07] terrorists, right? [9:12] She calls the patriotic Americans who support our campaign, many of them cops and soldiers, [9:20] deplorable and irredeemable. [9:22] And she means it. [9:26] Millions and millions of people. [9:29] Has she ever talked that way about radical Islam? [9:32] No. [9:34] Or about those who oppose and murder women and gays overseas? [9:39] Has Hillary Clinton ever called people who support these practices deplorable and irredeemable? [9:46] No. [9:48] In many countries overseas, non-believers face the death penalty. [9:53] Where is Hillary's condemnation there? [9:54] There is no condemnation. [9:55] There is no condemnation. [9:56] Let's ask Hillary Clinton, how many people who subscribe to radical Islamic views and [10:05] support the oppression of non-believers would you call deplorable or irredeemable? [10:12] Or are those words reserved only for hardworking Americans that truly love our country and [10:17] they want to make a statement? [10:19] To hear the words Hillary Clinton uses, one could be forgiven for getting the impression [10:32] that she thinks that she's the only one who can be forgiven. [10:32] That she thinks these hardworking Americans are somehow a greater threat to our country [10:37] than Islamic extremists. [10:40] This summer, there has been an ISIS attack launched outside the war zones of the Middle [10:46] East every 84 hours. [10:49] Here in America, we've seen one brutal attack after another. [10:54] Thirteen were – I mean, have you ever seen anything? [10:57] That's what's going on with our country. [11:00] And we don't do anything. [11:01] Thirteen were murdered. [11:03] And 38 were wounded in the assault on Fort Hood. [11:08] The Boston Marathon bombing wounded and maimed 264 people and ultimately left five dead, [11:16] including two police officers, and so badly wounded. [11:20] In Chattanooga, Tennessee, five unarmed Marines were shot and killed at a military recruiting [11:27] center. [11:29] Last December, 14 innocent Americans were gunned down at a party. [11:33] Think of it. [11:34] An office party. [11:36] In San Bernardino, and another 22 were horribly injured. [11:41] In June, 49 Americans were executed at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, and another 53 [11:50] were injured terribly. [11:53] It was the worst mass shooting in our history and the worst attack on the LGBTQ community [12:01] in our history. [12:04] In Europe. [12:05] We have seen the same carnage and bloodshed inflicted upon our closest allies. [12:09] In January 2015, a French satirical newspaper, Charlie Hebdo, was attacked for publishing [12:17] cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. [12:21] Twelve were killed, including two police officers, and 11 were wounded. [12:27] Two days later, four were murdered in a Jewish deli. [12:31] In November 2015, terrorists went on shooting. [12:35] They just went on a rampage, and this you heard, and you'll never hear the end of it. [12:41] One of the worst things that anybody has ever seen. [12:45] They went on a rampage. [12:46] They slaughtered 130 people and wounded 368 people, so gravely wounded that many are still [12:55] in the hospitals, and they'll never be the same. [12:59] In March of this year, terrorists detonated a bomb in the Brussels airport, killing 32, [13:06] and injuring 340 people. [13:09] This July, the south of France, an Islamic terrorist turned his truck into an instrument [13:15] of mass murder, killing 85 men, women, and children, and wounding 308 people. [13:23] Among the dead were two Americans, a Texas father and his 11-year-old son. [13:29] Shortly after that, in Germany, a refugee armed with an ax wounded five people in a [13:34] gruesome train attack. [13:36] Also. [13:37] This summer, an ISIS killer invaded a Christian church in Normandy and forced an 85-year-old [13:45] priest to his knees and slit his throat right before his congregation. [13:51] Overseas, ISIS has carried out one unthinkable atrocity after another, Christians driven [13:59] from their homes and hunted for extermination, ISIS rounding up what it calls the nation [14:05] of the cross in a campaign of genocide. [14:08] Horrible. [14:09] Horrible genocide. [14:11] We cannot let this evil continue. [14:16] Cannot do it. [14:22] Cannot do it. [14:26] Nor can we let the hateful ideology of radical Islam, its oppression of women, gays, children, [14:34] and nonbelievers be allowed to reside or spread within our country. [18:49] We must also use whatever lawful methods [18:52] are available to obtain information [18:55] from the apprehended suspect to get information [18:59] before it's no longer timely. [19:09] And Congress should pass measures to ensure [19:12] that foreign enemy combatants are treated as such. [19:17] These are enemies. [19:18] These are combatants. [19:20] And we have to be tough, and we have to be strong. [19:23] Hillary Clinton is a weak and ineffective person. [32:21] We should temporarily suspend immigration [32:25] entirely from regions [32:27] where safe and adequate screening cannot occur. [32:31] My policy will benefit the millions [32:39] of wonderful immigrants living here [32:41] and the wonderful immigrants coming in [32:44] to our country in the future, [32:46] because all good and decent [32:48] loving people want to live [32:50] in a good and decent loving country. [35:41] We've admitted around 100,000 from these countries [35:45] over the last short period of time. [35:48] And this thug today, they think, [35:50] came through Afghanistan. [35:52] What kind of screening procedures were performed? [35:55] These were difficult subjects, [35:57] but they must be discussed [35:59] by all responsible leaders. [36:02] We have an obligation to discuss them [36:04] and to come up with the right solution. [36:06] This is the kind of thing [36:08] we need to have an honest conversation about. [39:28] But I believe that if you could go back years [39:31] and he had the decision [39:33] whether or not to make curses [39:35] her Secretary of State, [39:37] he can never admit this, [39:39] and I never expect him to, [39:41] although maybe if he gets a lot of money for a book, [39:45] but he would choose not to make her Secretary of State. [39:48] That's what I think. [39:49] Because she was a disaster. [39:55] She's the one who pushed for the war [39:57] with one episode of bad judgment after another. [40:00] And remember, Bernie Sanders, [40:02] during the debates, [40:05] said on numerous occasions [40:07] that Hillary Clinton suffers from bad judgment. [40:10] She does. [40:11] So that bad judgment was just a disaster, [40:17] and we have now the situation that we have, [40:20] lots of problems all over the world, [40:23] and yes, ISIS has been launched, [40:25] and launched fully. [40:27] Yet as she threw the Middle East into violent turmoil, [40:30] things turned out very well for her. [40:33] The Clintons made $60 million in gross income [40:36] while she was Secretary of State. [40:39] Enough is enough. [40:44] It's time to break with the corruption, [40:47] the bad judgment, and the failures. [40:50] It's time to have a new and great American future. [41:04] We're going to change our immigration system [41:07] to reflect American values. [41:10] Remember, American values. [41:12] We're going to stop the reckless and costly policy [41:16] of regime change overseas [41:18] and instead focus on working in partnership with our allies [41:23] on a military campaign to utterly destroy. [41:26] We have no choice. [41:28] This effort will require military warfare, [41:31] but also financial warfare, cyber warfare, [41:34] and even ideological warfare. [41:37] We have to beat them at their own game. [41:40] They're playing the game much better than we are, [41:44] and youth is going for their version, [41:47] not our version. [41:49] Our goal is not to build democracies. [41:51] Our goal is defeat. [41:53] We want to defeat our enemies. [41:55] And then we want to get back to rebuilding our country. [41:59] Our country is a mess. [42:01] Our infrastructure is a disaster. [42:03] We owe, right now, almost $20 trillion. [42:08] And our country is in trouble. [42:11] Enough endless war. [42:13] It's time to have a real plan for victory. [42:17] But to win this struggle, we need to be strong at home. [42:21] My economic plan can be summed up [42:25] in three very simple words. [42:27] Jobs, jobs, jobs. [42:30] I'm going to massively lower your taxes. [42:40] That's businesses and that's middle income. [42:42] That's everybody. [42:44] I'm going to get rid of the vast amounts [42:49] of unnecessary regulations on your businesses [42:53] and in your life. [42:54] It's horrible. [42:55] I'm going to repeal and replace Obamacare. [43:00] It's a disaster. [43:01] I'm going to unleash American energy [43:13] and wait till you see what happens. [43:15] We'll start paying down our debt. [43:20] So many things can happen. [43:22] And even your electric bill will be a lot less. [43:24] I hope. [43:25] We do it properly? [43:26] I know. [43:27] I'm going to appoint justices to the Supreme Court [43:32] who will follow the Constitution. [43:34] I'm going to rebuild our depleted military [43:37] and take care of our veterans. [43:47] I'm going to renegotiate our disaster-free [43:51] infrastructure. [43:52] I'm going to rebuild our infrastructure. [43:59] I'm going to renegotiate our disastrous trade deals. [44:02] And they are indeed a disaster. [44:07] I'm going to put American workers first [44:11] and fix our rigged system. [44:14] It's a rigged system, folks. [44:18] We will rebuild our roads, our bridges, [44:21] our tunnels, highways, airports, schools and hospitals. [44:25] American cars will travel the roads. [44:28] American planes will soar the skies [44:31] and American ships will patrol the seas. [44:38] American steel will send new skyscrapers into the clouds. [44:43] American hands will rebuild our nation. [44:48] American hands and American energy, [44:56] mined from American sources, [44:58] will power this nation. [45:03] American workers will be hired to do the job. [45:08] We will put new American steel into the spine of our country. [45:12] I will fight for every neglected part of this nation. [45:17] And I will fight to bring us together as one American people. [45:22] Imagine what our country could accomplish [45:25] if we started working together as one people, [45:29] under one God, saluting one American flag. [45:33] It's time to break with the bitter failures of the past [46:13] and to embrace a new, inclusive and prosperous American future. [46:19] A future of success, togetherness, [46:25] and unity. [46:27] A future of fixing our inner cities [46:30] and our African American areas of this country [46:36] that have been treated so badly. [46:39] Our inner cities are a horror. [46:48] No jobs, no safety, education is the worst. [46:54] We're going to fix it. We're going to fix it. [46:59] You've been hearing that for years and years by the Democrats [47:02] who have run the inner cities for years. [47:04] We're going to fix our inner cities for, in some cases, [47:08] more than 100 years straight. [47:10] We're going to fix our inner cities, [47:13] and I'm going to get tremendous votes [47:15] from the African American community. [47:21] And we're going to get tremendous votes [47:25] from the Hispanic community. [47:27] We're going to bring jobs back to our country. [47:30] We're going to bring jobs back to our country. [47:35] And once more, we're going to have a government [47:38] of, by, and for the people. [47:51] We will make America, [47:53] and some people don't like this [47:55] because it doesn't sound right, [47:57] wealthy again. [48:03] We will make America strong again.
