FRANCE Prez DESTROYS Trump in HISTORIC SPEECH!!!

[0:00] french president emmanuel macron just gave a powerful and historic speech in greece he was [0:07] speaking with the prime minister of greece and emmanuel macron said we're basically done with [0:12] the united states we have serious doubts about the united states even abiding by article 5 [0:18] of nato they've let us down really at this point nato because of the united states is called into [0:24] question and we just have to recognize the reality of what the united states has done to nato [0:30] to europe and that they're not our friend anymore here play this clip everybody is spending more [0:35] and at the same time there is now adopt on the article 5 not put on the table by the europeans [0:40] but by the us presidents and i mean it's clearly de facto weakening the the strength of the alliance [0:47] uh i'm i think nato is very useful first for interoperability second because it was a very uh [0:53] interoperability of our equipments our armies and so on and it is the source of efficiency [1:00] and because it's a good strategic alliance very uh useful for all of us but i really be i'm a strong [1:07] believer in the european pillar of nato i advocated that years ago as your prime minister mentioned we [1:15] together pushed forward this agenda of strategic autonomy and this is where we are so my view is [1:23] that we have to strengthen this european pillar we should not be the one to weaken nato we have to [1:29] preserve nato and its interoperability but the europeans have to be much stronger and work [1:35] together and launch together common operations and what we are ready to do in the baltic sea more from [1:41] french president emmanuel macron right here on his trip to greece he said we're in a very unique [1:46] situation where you have both russia the united states and also china who seem to be against europe [1:54] but this is a moment that europe can seize and we can chart our own course we just have to recognize [2:01] that we're under attack we're under siege right now from the united states the same way we are from [2:07] russia here let's play this clip first we should not underestimate that this is a unique moment where [2:15] a u.s president a russian president a chinese president are dead against the europeans so this [2:22] is the right moment for us wake up more from french president emmanuel macron who says you know anyone [2:29] who tells us that we should decouple from china is really wrong because we can and even if there's [2:37] issues that we have with china at this point the united states poses such a risk to us that we can no [2:43] longer be a vassal of the united states and so we need to have a strong relationship with china we [2:49] need to pick our battles with the united states but they're not an ally anymore and europe needs to be [2:55] strong europe needs to stick together here play this clip i'm in favor of a of a de-risking strategy i i'm [3:02] not in favor of any decoupling strategy the risking is very consistent with the strategy of of being more [3:10] independent or having more autonomy the risk thing is just to say when we have excessive dependencies [3:15] we have to fix it either through diversification or through relocalization or more local production [3:23] and vis-a-vis china we have we have excessive dependencies today on critical minerals and rare [3:29] earth on some green tech and vis-a-vis us as well we have excessive dependencies so i think the core agenda [3:36] we should have is a de-risking strategy i don't put an equal signal between us and china we have the [3:42] same values with the us not with with with china but i think if what we should avoid is to rush on any [3:49] decoupling strategy with china because the result will be to increase our dependency to the us and to [3:55] be seen the rest of the world are just the vassals of the us which is not our future more of this [4:02] powerful speech right from french president emmanuel macron in greece he says look it's still the case [4:08] that the united states is the number one power in the world i mean just based on the historical [4:14] experience post-world war ii but they're not an ally anymore they are an ally to certain countries hintent [4:23] russia but they're not an ally to other countries and they're not reliable the united states is not a [4:30] reliable partner listen to what french president emmanuel macron has to say here let's play this clip [4:37] i think um this this very moment could be the european moment and for several reasons number one [4:49] everybody in this world have a clear view that this is a world of disorder second everybody sees that [5:00] the number one power the us could be an ally for certain countries but this ally is not so much certain [5:11] and nobody is totally sure this ally is reliable right i mean he's not mincing words here more from [5:18] french president emmanuel macron who says any strategy that we have going forward we need to put european [5:25] interests first and we need to recognize that what donald trump has done has made it so we can never [5:32] return to the way things used to be with the united states even in a post-trump world with other [5:38] presidents who may seem to be helpful to europe we have to remember that this experience is such that [5:44] we can't trust the united states anymore here play this clip the point i'm i think we have to be we [5:50] are not here as leaders to make comments or on tweets or behaviors we are here to act and decide [5:58] and the unique strategy which makes sense for us our con our countries and our continent is just to act [6:05] to accelerate clearly to have more scale and speed as i mentioned in order to increase our independence [6:15] this is my obsession so you think if a more predictable let's put it that way u.s president [6:20] is elected the next time around it's not going to be back to business as usual no i don't think so [6:26] i think this is an historical trend and i i completely agree by the way with what kaiako said on the fact [6:31] that we we can engage with the u.s on some issues and still makes a lot of sense because of the [6:37] common values and historical bonds and then french president emmanuel macron says look i know trump [6:43] well he is a character i mean he's definitely a character um but we need to really understand [6:51] the implications of all this here play this clip how difficult is that for you i'm uh i take the [6:58] leaders people give to us yes and this is a philosophy we we have to adopt and uh i i i know president [7:06] trump very well and i know he's a character de facto uh but i think i think as aski akos just said [7:16] the we have to be lucid on the u.s strategy and it's not just president trump's character or behavior [7:24] and then he talks about how europe was able to rally and support ukraine and demonstrating how [7:30] you can stand up to russia that russia really was suffering we know that the u.s right now is trying [7:35] to bail russia out invite russia to the g20 in december uh which is going to be in miami at the [7:42] uh at a trump resort and a trump property trump invited putin there but macron says look at the [7:47] power where we united behind ukraine after russia's invasion here play this clip when the war started in [7:55] february 22 a lot of people were skeptical about our capacity to react but matter of fact what happened [8:05] day one day one day one we took sanctions on russia unanimity we are taking the 20th package and the [8:13] russian economy is suffering from that don't believe the fake news they are suffering and another thing [8:20] that uh macron says is that when it comes to sovereignty whether it's greenland whether it's [8:26] canada whether it's greece we need to stand up for our sovereignty and when sovereignty is threatened [8:33] you got to do what you got to do to protect your sovereignty and fight back and we'll support you [8:38] we'll protect greece or any country who's a friend and an ally that's what partnership is we'll support [8:44] you and we'll make sure we protect your sovereignty here play this clip just and for me this is a [8:50] definition of friendship the famous alliance you referred friends greece alliance this is it the [8:59] alliance and the friendship is a very simple thing when you go to bed you don't ask yourself what will [9:06] you do tomorrow you know it if your sovereignty is at risk do what you have to do for you we will be here [9:18] let me ask and then greek's prime minister uh said something i found very interesting that we have [9:23] an opportunity to look beyond what is happening with europe and establish strong alliances there's a [9:29] multi-polar world right now and you know where it used to be the us was the global superpower that's [9:37] not what exists anymore in the post-trump era but the united states play this clip leading maritime [9:43] nations so i think we have the opportunity to also look beyond what is happening within within europe and [9:48] to establish new um strong alliances which will create a de facto more multipolar world with different [9:57] poles of different uh strength but this is an important dimension that we need to work on i think [10:02] it's also important to note a few other things about french president emmanuel macron that preceded [10:07] this trip number one he stated that the u.s cannot use airports or uh any of the airstrips or any of the [10:15] french uh territories to conduct airstrikes against iran because french president emmanuel macron said [10:21] we can't support your war crimes and there are war crimes being committed [10:25] in lebanon by israel in the united states and that partnership and that alliance [10:30] as well as in iran so we're not going to allow you to use um our our air bases here number one [10:37] number two macron and care starmer in the past week or so they organized a coalition to discuss [10:45] opening up the strait of hormuz either on the bilateral negotiations country to country negotiation [10:52] with iran or with this coalition uh working out a deal with iran in the absence of the us doing [10:58] anything and donald trump continuing to lie about meetings with iran that are not really uh happening [11:03] and then macron also said recently that france is going to focus on building up its nuclear arsenal [11:11] and before it was not focused on building up its nuclear weapons any more than it had before [11:17] but in light of the threats posed to it and the world under donald trump's regime it's important [11:23] that france to protect itself continue to build up its nuclear arsenal and that's what macron uh said [11:29] at a recent speech that he gave here's what he talked about here play this clip i have uh ordered [11:36] that we increase the number of nuclear warheads on our arsenal in order to put pay to any speculation we [11:46] will no longer communicate on the figures uh regarding our nuclear arsenal contrary to past [11:52] practice in order to be free therefore we must be feared and in order to be feared we have to be [12:01] powerful this increase in our arsenal reflects that uh approach but in order to be powerful and this [12:09] is the second part of my intervention we have to be united and i'm going to speak about europe [12:14] security and then donald trump you know he's been constantly attacking france and europe over and [12:20] over again and nato right last friday after donald trump announced the fake deal with iran that iran [12:27] was opening up the strait of her moves and everything was great remember trump did that to manipulate the [12:31] market last friday then uh he posted the following now that the hormuz strait situation is over [12:39] i received a call from nato asking if we need some help i told them to stay away [12:43] unless they just want to load up their ships with oil they were useless when needed a paper tiger djt [12:51] can you believe that was last friday already when he said oh it's already open and we already have [12:55] a deal and everything's uh amazing remember you had donald trump uh go on tv and he also said the [13:02] following on state regime media with maria bartiroma about europe and about other countries like france [13:08] here play this clip did you see europe is now drafting a program and plan to open up the hormuz [13:15] strait without the united states it's so sad we're doing it now by the way it's opening the ships are [13:22] coming back and forth oh without the united states it just shows you how can you have a country how can [13:28] you have a group of countries with that attitude look at greenland we should have greenland to protect [13:34] the world against russia and china the mention of it all of a sudden they get you this country should [13:45] not be paying trillions of dollars to nato right it's just the the condensate the con just being so [13:52] condescending um to remind you back when one of the first visits of this term by french president [13:59] emmanuel macron he kind of embarrassed donald trump and stood up to him when he explained the way europe is [14:06] actually supporting uh ukraine remember this here play this clip again just so you understand europe [14:15] is loaning the money to ukraine they get their money back no in fact to be to be frank uh we paid [14:21] we paid 60 percent of the total efforts and it was like the us loans guarantee grants and we we provided [14:29] the real money to be clear we have 230 billion and then donald trump's just been consistently kind of [14:35] attacking uh france here was donald trump uh recently talking like uh attacking macron and like making [14:44] comments about macron's wife and saying macron's wife treats him badly here play this clip so he gets [14:49] off probably says man that was easier than i thought then i call up france macron whose wife treats him [14:58] extremely badly and still recovering from the right to the jaw and i say emmanuel we'd love to have some [15:12] help in the gulf even though we're setting records and knocking out bad people and knocking out ballistic [15:18] missiles we'd love to have some help if you could could you please send ships immediately no no no cannot [15:25] do that don't know we can we can do that after the war is won i said no no i don't need after the war [15:33] is one emmanuel many of them said we'll be there after the war is completed and so i learned about [15:39] nato and here was cnn's reporting on that coalition that france and the uk organized together let's play [15:46] this was a meeting that was initially proposed by the british and the french but that also attracted a [15:51] in presence they were actually here in paris the italian leader and the german leader but there [15:55] were some 50 participants in it uh many uh remotely they were global organizations but some 30 heads of [16:02] state or government and that's important because it wasn't just europeans what we're talking about [16:07] are the leaders of from latin america through the middle east to the indo-pacific those parts of the [16:12] world that were not belligerent in this case that are not directly involved in the war but have been on [16:17] the front line of its effects of its impacts and so they came together to try and put together and [16:22] they've been talking about this for some weeks this coalition to ensure that navigation can stay [16:27] open on the straight of in the straight of hormones the idea is that they want no blockade they want [16:31] no tolls and they want the end of fighting a ceasefire allowing them to mount this mission with the help [16:38] of uh the ships of france uh the united kingdom germany and italy in order to carry out mine sweeping [16:45] operations now crucially only once a ceasefire has been struck then this announcement of the uh lifting [16:51] on the iranian side of the blockade and all the hope that it has brought but what the french president [16:56] wanted to keep front and center was the need for prudence because we've seen so many times before [17:01] at moments of a glimmer of hope uh disappointment then uh of the face with the maximalist demands of [17:07] the united states the transigence of the iranians and the continued frustration of the rest of the [17:11] world faced with this the idea here was to try and do something about it without uh being in those [17:16] involved directly in the war this is what the french president had to say now macron's also been [17:21] engaged in bilateral discussions with iran's president possesskian working diplomatic channels [17:28] there to try to get the straight of her moves open or to figure out what a future looks like when
