"It's one of the most amazing pieces I've ever seen. Did you find out how much he's got on it? Martin, stop it. We're here for Star Wars. Where's Battlestar Galactica? [00:00:00] Speaker 1: It's one of the most amazing pieces I've ever seen. Did you find out how much he's got on it? Martin, stop it. We're here for Star Wars. Where's Battlestar Galactica?
[00:00:10] Speaker 2: I think we know a certain guy who's looking for one of these, don't we? Have we ever seen these before? Cookies. Sorry. It's Echo Base October 2026 and we're in a new location.
[00:00:22] Speaker 1: Yep, there's loads of Star Wars everywhere and of course it wouldn't be Echo Base if we didn't have one of our challenges. Absolutely not. Times are wasting. Let's get going.
[00:00:59] Speaker 2: So this is a really nice piece. This is the three last Power of the Force mini rigs that they released. So, you know, we're talking right at the end of Star Wars here. And what he's done is he's graded the box, the instructions and the vehicles, but he's also put the action figures that have been graded that were on the front of all of the boxes. It's one of the most amazing pieces I've ever seen. Did you find out how much he's got on it? He's got $1,700 on it. $1,700. That's not bad, is it? Well, we worked out if you add up the price of each of those individually and the figures and the grading, that's about right, so it's a good price. It's a good price. Okay, we're here with Rob at C&T Auctions and he's got some great stuff coming up in the next auction, which is? November 1st. It will go live next Friday. Excellent. And this is absolutely stunning stuff in here. The first thing that's jumped out to me are these. Rob, tell us a bit about these.
[00:02:05] Speaker 3: Okay, so these were sent out to employees at Lucasfilm as Christmas cards. So we've got two Yoda depictions of Santa, Yoda. These have got from the Lucas family inside and these two droids ones are actually signed by some of the production team. And these are really nice to come up. They're incredible.
[00:02:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, they are very cool. What else have we got? What's a special piece? I mean, there's a lot of special pieces in here, but what jumps out?
[00:02:34] Speaker 3: Obviously not Star Wars, but it's got Han Solo, Indiana Jones. That sort of jumps out at me. Graded 85. Very nice piece. Obviously, you know, all seen blue snaggletooths and things. The other thing that really, the other two items that really jumped for me in here is the Harbert Vader, graded 80 AFA.
[00:02:58] Speaker 2: I've come across him once before. Yeah. And I had no idea at the time that they'd actually put different names on some of these cards. Yeah, yeah. And the Darth Fener is brilliant. Absolutely love it.
[00:03:08] Speaker 3: Yeah, Lord Darth Fener. Yeah. Great. The other thing that really caught my eye is this one. Now, these don't come up very often. Boba Fett Palatoy. Unfortunately, someone's written and stick up, but they don't come up very often in this condition. Bubble and everything. That's a really nice piece.
[00:03:25] Speaker 2: So, just to remind everyone again, the auction is?
[00:03:27] Speaker 3: It will be at 2 o'clock on the 1st of November, Sunday the 1st of November, at 2 o'clock. Fantastic. Brilliant. Yeah. Brilliant. Thank you very much. Cheers, mate.
[00:03:35] Speaker 1: What have we got in here? Looks like it's all the novelty ones.
[00:03:41] Speaker 2: Might be some good ones in there. Don't give up hope. R5 M4. Don't have that one. That's nice. These are limited to 5,500, right? And they're still available everywhere. I've seen them in Disney stores. They're available in Disney World and they're available online still. So, they can't have sold very many of them, could they? No.
[00:04:00] Speaker 1: I kind of just brushed over this X-Wing, but on second glance, you see that it's a Palatoy PVP X-Wing. Completely unused. 995, nim in box. Looks immense. Yeah, it's awesome, isn't it? Look, £5 back in the day. £5. Yeah. Smart, isn't it? Yeah. Martin, stop it. We're here for Star Wars. Where's Battlestar Galactica? Yeah, Martin, we're here for Star Wars. Really? Yeah. Yeah, you're not picking that up. No, go on. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars.
[00:05:15] Speaker ?: Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars. Yeah, I'm going to be here for Star Wars.
[00:06:26] Speaker 1: I mean, this is dangerous for me, because I love my minifigs. Is it all official Lego in them? No, no. The customs. Customs, yeah. Customs and the custom card bags.
[00:06:42] Speaker 2: Yeah. And then that you could take the customs out and put in...
[00:06:46] Speaker 4: Yeah, the cases, they all are just open. Yeah.
[00:06:50] Speaker 2: And you can just replace them with whatever you like. Yeah, yeah. Well, Adam's actually at the moment collecting the 96 minifigs. Obviously, they haven't got them all, but this would be a fantastic way to display them. It really would. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you so much. I'm sorry.
[00:07:05] Speaker 5: Cheers. Then the other things I like are these die-cast type models, and they're like vacuum sealed. So have I got that? I've got it upside down. There you go.
[00:07:20] Speaker 2: Got the English writing in there as well.
[00:07:22] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[00:07:23] Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, we've said this before, but the Japanese, well, everything's Japanese Star Wars always looks nicer, doesn't it? It's always packaged nicer. And the artwork on that.
[00:07:32] Speaker 5: And the artwork, yeah. And then the other nice thing is like underneath, it's got the, like the original instructions. So this being Sukuda will be like Jedi sort of era onwards, although it says Empire because it's like, obviously it was Poppy. It was Takara, like the jigsaws, then it was Poppy and then it was Sukuda.
[00:07:54] Speaker 2: And the other thing I spotted yesterday was these Japanese Pops cards. Yeah. And we had a little chat about them and they're fantastic.
[00:08:01] Speaker 5: So they're really, like inside the jigsaws is what you think is a top card size, but these are quite like quite hefty one. And then on the back, they've got all sort of the information about them. I've sold quite a few of these. This is, this is not, not very many I've got left. But my favourite thing, and I do actually have one of these myself, is the Sukuda catalogue.
[00:08:23] Speaker 2: Oh, I think we picked this up once before, didn't we? Yeah, we've seen one before.
[00:08:27] Speaker 5: So I've got one at home. This is a really, really good condition one. I think it's from like 1983. And so, as I said, you know, the rights for Star Wars selling changed with each film in Japan. So, and then all the figures that they've released on Sukuda cards are featured in this site. Quite different to what we expect from the Palatoi or the Kenna. Yeah. Photography.
[00:08:54] Speaker 2: Yeah. It's stunning looking.
[00:08:56] Speaker 5: Yeah. It's great. It's taken a real time to set these all up. Ewoks on the moon. I'm not quite sure. But you know, it's probably before they saw the film. And then it goes into other things they did, like the model kits.
[00:09:10] Speaker 2: It's really nice. Yeah. Yeah. Well, thanks. Thanks ever so much for showing us some of that stuff.
[00:09:15] Speaker 5: You're welcome.
[00:09:16] Speaker 2: Brilliant. Yeah. Yeah, nice. Look at these display stands. So you've got your figure stands, but they've got what company or what film they came from. Brilliant idea.
[00:09:27] Speaker 1: Not film. No, yeah. Film or manufacturer.
[00:09:30] Speaker 2: Smart. Battle wagon. Yeah. Yeah. You're going to buy that? Well, looking at the price, I think I'll stick with the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves one. Yeah. Where have we seen these before? Cookies. Okay. Oh, sorry. It's a Lucasfilm limited whiskey decanter set. Oh. Oh, that's a shame. That's a shame. The whiskey's gone. Yeah, the whiskey's gone, but it's also got a picture of Ray in there. So it's kind of lost it for me. But Mandalorian and Clone Wars glasses. That's really nice. Yeah. But yeah, that's pretty cool. This was something that I really wanted as a kid. Yeah. But as we previously discussed, I wouldn't have had the skill as a kid. No. And I don't think I'd have the skill as an adult either. What sort of age range is it? Skill level three. Skill level three. So that's two above the one I am at. Yeah. So yeah. But I mean, in the 80s, that would be smart, wouldn't it? Yeah.
[00:10:25] Speaker ?: Yeah.
[00:10:25] Speaker 2: That would be smart, wouldn't it?
[00:10:26] Speaker ?: Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
[00:11:58] Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you. I've got to be honest with you, I've been in here for a little bit now and I haven't seen too much.
[00:13:02] Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, you're probably not looking hard enough. I've seen quite a bit.
[00:13:06] Speaker 2: But just before we go, what do you think my chances of winning this are? It's high.
[00:13:10] Speaker ?: It's high.
[00:13:10] Speaker 2: Let's get going. It's very high. I've got to be in here for a little bit.
[00:13:21] Speaker ?: I've got to be honest with you, I've got to be honest with you, I've got to be honest with you. I've got to be honest with you. I've got to be honest with you. I've got to be honest with you.
[00:13:27] Speaker 2: Well, I'm finding it really, really difficult to actually find any Rogue One stuff. I think Adam's doing quite well. I spotted him over the other side and he had a few things in his hand. So, fingers crossed, I've still got 20 minutes.
[00:14:00] Speaker 1: This is going to help my cause, but is it three pound or is it 20 pound? It's probably Rogue One in here somewhere. How many Rogue One figures are there in TVC? There's not many, is there? There's about 12 maybe? I'm not seeing it. I'm not seeing anything. We've got a Rogue One pack back there. All right. 15. Do those figures count if they're individual?
[00:14:21] Speaker 2: No, that's just one item, I think. So, how about a Funko Pop Odie Rook? I think Funko Pops automatically disqualify you from actually entering the competition. Yeah, and I'm not paying £8 for a Funko Pop.
[00:14:41] Speaker 6: Well, that's the challenge done. Stick around to the end of the video to find out who won. In the meantime, we've got time for another look around.
[00:15:40] Speaker ?: We've got time for another look around for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around. We've got time for another look around.
[00:16:32] Speaker 1: Is it all done digitally? Yes.
[00:16:35] Speaker 7: In fact, I'll illustrate it first. You know, by hand. And then I'll recreate it using something called Illustrator. Yeah, I'll use Illustrator.
[00:16:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. That's nice. I like that Return of the Jedi one there. It's lovely. Smart.
[00:16:50] Speaker 7: I illustrated this at the equivalent of about A2. Yeah. To get the detail. Yeah. And that little white line there.
[00:17:00] Speaker 8: If you look on my Insta, that little white line is actually a hangar bay.
[00:17:04] Speaker 7: If you zoom all the way in. Yeah. And there's a hangar bay. And in there is a garrison of stormtroopers and shackled idea room.
[00:17:11] Speaker 1: That's what I love about Illustrator is the fact you can get right on in. Yeah. You can't see it here, but I know it's there. You now know it's there. Yeah, we know it's there now. What would your favourite sort of piece be?
[00:17:22] Speaker 7: It's actually this one, although I've done this twice. I've been trialing print type paper stocks. Yeah. This is probably a much nicer. I think the muted. Some people like the bright white. Yeah. I prefer the muted. Of all the pieces, this is personally my favourite piece. Just because from a challenge perspective. Yeah. I didn't really know how to get the depth of field with the swampy aspect. Sure. And I think I achieved it. I think so, yeah.
[00:17:53] Speaker 1: And which one probably took you the longest? Oh, 600 hours. 600 hours into that. Yeah.
[00:18:00] Speaker 7: Every single tie-in detector is individually illustrated. Wow. And of course the Death Star. Yeah.
[00:18:06] Speaker 1: And the hangar bay in the Death Star.
[00:18:08] Speaker 2: And the hangar bay in the Death Star. Adam, have you got that one? I don't have that one, no. Well, it's Lego. Yeah. And it's Astromex. And it's Astromex, yeah. And it's retired, apparently. Yeah. I think, I mean, it's got your name all over it, hasn't it? Oh, I don't know. And you can customise it as well. You can customise droids. Your favourite kind of droid is customised droids. Yeah. Okay. I think we know a certain guy who's looking for one of these, don't we? Yeah. To add to his collection. It's pretty cool, isn't it? It is really nice. Fit it in your room? I could fit it in. Not much else. You wouldn't be able to sit in it though. Yeah.
[00:18:44] Speaker 1: Pretty good, pretty good. You've got something new to show us, haven't you?
[00:18:46] Speaker 4: I've got the finished version. Lovely. Of Cloud City. It's full of Palletoy goodness. You can look in there. There's Palletoy Stormtroopers all over it. Yeah. I've kept the aesthetic with having printed figures on it as well. If you look at the back, if you look at the back, you can see.
[00:19:00] Speaker 1: There you go. Cloud Car Pilot.
[00:19:02] Speaker 4: Cloud Car Pilot in there. There's some Bespin Guards in there too. Stormtroopers. IG-88 down there. IG-88 is in there too. Yeah. All the window decals. They're all off the Cloud Car. You know the Divecast. The background for that. Oh yeah. So that's on it. It's just full of vintage and it's absolutely perfect. I think it looks fantastic.
[00:19:28] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[00:19:29] Speaker 4: Someone said it's better than the Death Star, which I don't believe but that's very flattering to hear. Any of these available now? These will be available very, very soon. Very soon. There's a mailing list there boys as well. I guess it's on the mailing list. Okay. I haven't got a price yet but it will go for more than what I normally pay because it's bigger. Yeah. Not more work into it. It's a good size set. It's a good size set. Over there there's a Death Star loose for like 300 quid. Yeah. It won't be that. No. But it'll be in the three figures. That's all I can say in a minute. So Drew this is new this cabinet.
[00:20:00] Speaker 9: Yeah. This is the new design. 100% acrylic. Self build is really, really simple. It's just a few little bolts. Really solid but quite lightweight. And these now ship a lot cheaper as well because they're less than a meter. So the whole thing is a cheaper case. Cheaper to ship but the quality is still there. Yeah.
[00:20:21] Speaker 2: It looks stunning mate.
[00:20:22] Speaker 9: It looks stunning. There's a front panel as well so it's always supported. Just lift the hinge up. Awesome. Yeah. Cool. Fantastic. Cheers mate.
[00:20:33] Speaker ?: No worries. Challenge is done. Challenge results time. Yep. Let's see what we picked up. Do you want to go first? Okay.
[00:21:08] Speaker 2: So just to remind everybody we had to pick up items that were road one related being the 10th anniversary road one. Yeah.
[00:21:23] Speaker ?: So we'll quickly fire through these. First one I picked up was this cinema mug sipper if you like.
[00:21:23] Speaker 2: Nice one. Yep. So there we go. All right.
[00:21:27] Speaker ?: I'm going to start things off with this Gin Erso figure.
[00:21:27] Speaker 2: I'll follow that up with a shore trooper. Yeah. From the other store. Sure trooper. A bit yellow but you know still road one. The book. The book was three pound not 20 so I grabbed it. I also picked up another shore trooper this one's carded though.
[00:21:35] Speaker 1: Nice little piece there. So I think that's definitely a winner. Now this one. So I've got a minifig. Who's that minifig? Yeah.
[00:21:41] Speaker 2: Who's that minifig? Yeah. I've got a minifig. Yeah. So there we go. All right. I'm going to start things off with this Gin Erso figure. I'll follow that up with a shore trooper. Yeah. From the other store. A shore trooper. A shore trooper. Yeah. A shore trooper. A shore trooper. A shore trooper. A shore trooper. Yeah. A shore trooper.
[00:22:01] Speaker 1: A shore trooper.
[00:22:02] Speaker ?: Yeah.
[00:22:03] Speaker 1: Who's that minifig? Antoch Merrick. Antoch Merrick.
[00:22:06] Speaker 2: Yeah. Rogue One. That's really nice. I like that. This one's probably going to count I'd say for four items. No. No. We said it's one item. No. So there's four items here. One item. And this is a Rogue One four pack. So what are we standing at the moment score wise? Well you've got four.
[00:22:23] Speaker 1: I've got well with this four. Okay. So the ultimate visual guide. This is nice.
[00:22:29] Speaker 2: Yeah. So four all. Four all. If you think it's a draw. As usual in the comments who won that and who had the best items. But breaking news. I have a fifth item. Come on. Darth Vader. Darth Vader. You should be disqualified for that. That's vintage. Darth Vader was in Rogue One. End of story. But it's vintage. And we're done.
[00:22:50] Speaker ?: *outro music*
