[0:00] dave rubin has uh provided us with a lot of fun this week um just before we play this clip of [0:07] dave rubin this is impressive you know when i did my surrounded i got some press dave rubin did too [0:15] uh do you have this uh the daily beast where they write about dave rubin and the response [0:23] the internet has given to him to the point where dave rubin and i'm i'm blocked by him on twitter [0:29] so i didn't see this firsthand but dave rubin actually tweeted out and then deleted that [0:36] don't believe the hype he was not slaughtered in fact what's interesting about this uh here [0:42] it is maga host mocked after failing to name any of trump's achievements like you like the the bare [0:49] minimum um like the subhead dave rubin is out there fighting for his life after he earned him the [0:55] dubious new honor of quote dumbest man on the internet which isn't really that's not a [0:59] new honor it's a pretty old honor that's also the exact phrasing i read this yesterday on the [1:04] show but piers morgan did a piece yesterday a panel that was titled dumbest man in right-wing media [1:12] no no it was all the guys who were debating him it was guys from jubilee no dumbest man on the internet [1:18] might as well be his like family sigil and slogan at this point because it's just going to be engraved [1:23] on his tombstone what's fascinating about this though is i think if you go and look and i'm [1:29] speculating here but i i the other day i noticed that jubilee the the actual show had only gotten like [1:38] i don't know 150 000 more views than our first clip of it uh that we did at the beginning of the week and [1:48] it's since the numbers have since gone up i bet you if you look at the graph of that jubilee at one [1:55] point all of the interest in it was only because dave was considered the stupidest guy right on the internet [2:03] and people like i gotta see this uh as opposed to initially it's fascinating he's like fear factor i just [2:10] want to watch this guy eat worms exactly it's the new jersey generals like he's actually like people [2:16] know the new jersey general's name not because washington washington general because they're a [2:22] great club basketball team it is because uh they got destroyed every time the carl and grove trotters [2:31] so here is uh dave rubin new jersey generals was donald trump's um af yes it was it was one of the the [2:39] yeah right uh here's uh dave rubin um debating uh evan and it is fascinating how quickly evan flips [2:53] the entire claim on dave rubin and dave rubin has to concede and embarrass himself this is just [3:01] like this almost feels like ai if you were to put in there like show me something here's the prompt [3:07] show me dave rubin getting completely embarrassed but don't make it like super super obvious make [3:15] it look like somebody had to exert 35 effort how's it going dave all right all right all right um let's [3:24] talk about reality okay let's talk about three things we should we should say the claim here go [3:30] back a little bit so we can is it the claim is dave rubin is that uh liberals or democrats the modern [3:38] left cares more about ideology than reality yes more so it's the modern left oh the modern left [3:45] cares more about ideology than reality things that exist in reality climate change donald trump lost [3:54] the 2020 election and vaccines out of covid are effective and safe um the right does not accept any [4:02] of those things does donald trump accept the 2020 election results and do republicans broadly [4:06] accept the 2020 election results still to this day i think there's a lot of questions about the 2020 [4:11] election but did donald trump accept it does donald trump i think he thinks something went [4:16] happen something went awry so he does not accept it now did donald trump lose the 2020 election i don't [4:20] know well no no i don't know yeah that's the truth i know that i know that he was not the president [4:26] by the end of that but i do know that in all the chaos of covid and mail-in ballots and everything else [4:30] right that somehow magically joe biden got something like 20 million more votes than barack obama that's a [4:35] little bit curious yeah so all that was incredibly hot election because voting was made easier oh [4:40] because voting was well you might think it's something part of it also might have been at that [4:44] point people are like hey uh maybe this whole strategy of saying if we don't um uh if we don't [4:50] let people off the boat we won't have covid here didn't work out maybe the whole time where donald [4:55] trump was getting up and going what about if we bleach the inside of the body if we do that that's my idea [5:02] i just want to make that in the decade in the decade 2010 to 2020 the population grew by 7.4 i [5:10] can't do math off the top of my head to see if that would track with the number of votes that have been [5:15] added but like we're not that far off but also like people were really tuned into politics because [5:22] one trump was in office uh being horrible and there was a pandemic that was impinging on everyone's [5:29] lives so it even if there was a rate rise in uh voter participation it's pretty explainable and if it's [5:36] the case that the democrats had the ability in 2020 to create an extra 20 million votes why didn't we use [5:46] that machine in 2024 when when biden was in power when biden was in power because mike lindell stopped it [5:54] yes and giuliani yeah do if you are doing nail imbalance there might be a little more access to [6:02] fraudulent uh abilities you might think that but you have to actually provide evidence to demonstrate [6:08] i'm just skeptical i'm just skeptical of it so i don't know i don't know i'm skeptical okay so yeah [6:13] if just i would i would uh venture to say that a little skepticism is probably a good thing also the [6:18] covid vaccines didn't work i mean that's that's a fact that is not that is a fact that isn't if you got [6:22] a covid vaccine could you get covid if you got it yes yes oh you could transmit it yes the claim [6:30] was never that transmission was at zero percent joe biden joe biden joe biden hold on hold on [6:36] hold on joe biden if you get the covid vaccine you will not get nor transmit covid okay that is what [6:41] joe biden but that's not anthony fauci said that that's not what the right claims about the [6:45] covid vaccine positive for a second covid vaccine was developed under donald trump i want to make [6:57] that clear secondly vaccines whether it's the shingles vaccine which turns out to have like a lot of [7:06] great uh side effects uh for people um but vaccines never provide um anything even remotely close to a [7:16] hundred percent efficacy they're going to roll out a lime vaccine that's going to be 70 effective and [7:21] people are like if that's the case that's pretty amazing but the thing that uh the covid vaccine did [7:28] in addition to the fact that it had to deal with a evolution of this um virus same thing with the flu [7:36] flu vaccine generally runs like 45 to 50 percent somewhere in there 60 effective depending on the year [7:44] and the guests as to where the vaccine the uh the virus is going but it had uh incredible impact [7:54] on uh in terms of life-saving in terms of mitigating the impact of getting uh covid both in terms of [8:01] like hospitalizations and deaths and in long covid but uh continue you yes we're talking about whether [8:10] or not the right or the left accepts reality correct so the right claims that the that the covid vaccine is [8:15] unsafe and unaffected that's not true that is true no the that is true of the people who died from [8:20] covid are the vast majority of them unvaccinated or vaccinated hold on hold on do you know i know [8:26] i know a young guy who's in his early 20s who never had any help wait wait wait who had never had any [8:31] health problems young healthy guy in his early 20s who had to get the covid vaccine to go to college [8:36] and he now has myocarditis okay does that does that interest you at all does that interest you he had no [8:40] reason he had no reason to get a vaccine that would stop him it did not stop him from getting [8:45] covid and he could still transmit covid we don't use anecdotes in science this is a let's let's pull [8:50] it back to reality right this is why science is so important this is why you're not actually like [8:54] science because we understand the anecdotes aren't a good tool to use when assessing scientific research [8:59] so you think the government the government should have been allowed to force people to get a vaccine [9:04] that was rushing that was rushed through by operating operation work warp speed which was [9:09] donald trump a guy you don't seem to like very much right yeah sure but we're pivoting yeah sure [9:14] yeah yeah we're sure i'm okay with operation warp speed i can so you the guy that you seem to be [9:19] quite deranged about donald trump pushes through a vaccine very fast you're right because i want to [9:23] ensure that you change the topic from my own claim because i'm getting it handed to me in my face and [9:30] so let's go let's switch to um you don't like donald trump but you like warp speed hmm that's weird [9:39] big face but you don't honestly but you don't like warp speed seven year old argues but but you don't [9:45] like warp speed dave oh you like warp speed why don't you marry it they made him do it right fauci [9:52] made him do it he had a gun to his head right he's both the strongest man on earth and that five [9:56] foot two guy who i've seen throw a baseball who's the one who intimidated big man into operation warp [10:04] speed all right keep going this is a it is amazing how how both dim dave is and how unprepared he was [10:12] for his own claims good or healthy but yeah but even though even though that i don't like what i don't [10:19] like is the fact that republicans and especially like right-wing influencers i'm sorry the vaccine [10:25] the idea the vaccine did not do anything it absolutely massively lowered the impact that [10:30] the virus had on you if you got sick absolutely and i mean myocarditis came comes up but you are [10:35] infinitely more likely to have myocarditis symptoms worse from covid than the vaccine downplayed the [10:45] efficacy of vaccines and claimed that they were unsafe or unaffected but they were unaffected no they [10:50] weren't so we were if it reduces if it were young healthy people had no reason if it reduces the rate [10:56] of transmission of that that is that is literally what a vaccine is intended we were sold we were [11:02] sold the bill of goods that they sold us we were told it was going to be perfect and instead it was [11:07] only very good i thought it was magic honestly and and the amount of claims by the right that [11:17] we did people remember vares yeah vares is where everybody supposedly put all their claims of all [11:25] of the um uh the the uh the dangerous side effects of the covet vaccine that supposedly had killed [11:35] millions of people uh we were told if this was the case where is the report from bobby kennedy who now [11:45] controls all this apparatus to measure it like how like if this is true it is not just like weird that [11:54] we haven't heard from him it is incredibly irresponsible for all of these people like how is [12:00] dave rubin not on a daily basis calling for uh not calling for bobby kennedy to release all of the [12:07] evidence and all of the results on the massive study on how all these millions of people got hurt like [12:14] why is dave rubin have to even provide an anecdote why can he not cite after a year and a half of [12:23] donald trump being in charge of this country data that shows everything that he's arguing it is because [12:30] it doesn't exist it's because it was a lie that was just promulgated by all of these uh scumbags who [12:38] undoubtedly caused the deaths of people because they refused to take the uh vaccine go ahead this was that [12:46] you would not get nor transmit kobe that is the president of the united states words if as he was [12:51] forcing people to get that back if he said that then i would agree that his assessment of it was [12:56] well he's the president of the united states yeah oh you should have you should do you think [13:05] he was the daddy of the united states he's supposed to be the magician who knows all the details about the [13:12] vaccine i mean i was told by apple care that the vaccine wouldn't let me get sick it wouldn't let [13:17] me get other people sick and then i got sick wait wait are you saying are you saying president speaking [13:23] of presidents of the united states how about donald trump and suggesting that people should drink bleach [13:27] or do hydroxychloroquine he's the president of the united states do you think that that was at all [13:33] the bleach thing is a completely made up farce the bleach he didn't yes he told people to inject bleach have [13:38] you seen the whole quote you think he told people to inject bleach like really like you're that he [13:42] suggested that things like hydroxychloroquine were effective at means at preventing covet [13:48] there were all there were all sorts of other treatments there were monoclonal treatments people [13:52] did you use hcq there were all sorts of things that were people used other things but that doesn't [13:56] mean that it was that doesn't mean that the vaccine wasn't the most safe and effective means well [14:01] there used to be something there used to be something called herd immunity there used to be that young [14:05] people would actually go outside and get sun and run around and do exercise and getting inside [14:10] playing video games all day and take oh my god what is he talking about it's kind of incredible to [14:17] me that the like niche culture of constantly needing to be tan that was so prevalent in my child [14:25] and in new jersey is now like a wellness thing as a part of rfk jr it's like no it's pretty obvious [14:31] that uh skin cancer and being out in the sun without sunscreen is bad for you but you know it's [14:36] like they've taken the cast of the jersey shore and made it into medical advice guys are like sunning [14:41] their tank i know i think it's like oh what does dave think would have happened if people got sunlight [14:47] and it like it would have helped them uh recover from covid more easily it's really talking i think about [14:54] the the covid like sort of lockdown but that happened under trump yeah yeah but that was [15:01] because the evil democrats made him do it you can take out food and get in fatter and everything else [15:08] go back just a little bit let's read that fact check um this is uh trump promoted hydro [15:19] as uh dave rubin says it as a covid treatment contrary to evolving medical evidence and he publicly [15:25] speculated about using the disinfected by injection inside the body comments doctors called dangerous [15:31] and baseless however he did not literally instruct americans to inject bleach uh that line is shorthand [15:39] that exaggerate his exact words even though his remarks clearly invited that interpretation and had to be [15:45] walked back that's uh exceedingly generous by jubilee just a little bit sitting inside people would [15:57] actually go outside and get sun and run around and do exercise and not be sitting inside playing [16:02] video games all day and taking takeout food and getting fatter and everything else like you might [16:06] want to encourage people to be healthy rather than take a largely experimental vaccine that turned out [16:11] not to be a vaccine it it was it was first i don't know what you mean by not a vaccine it's clearly a [16:17] vaccine it wasn't it doesn't mean just because something is a vaccine doesn't mean you it it's zero [16:23] percent transmissibility okay we gotta we gotta pause there you've been voted out okay wow uh it's [16:29] amazing you know they are scene point i will say this and i don't know if we're gonna play any more [16:35] of dave rubin from uh surrounded we've we played i think three different clips uh over the course of [16:40] the week i mean there's still about 60 minutes left maybe a member bonus uh in the air but i will say this [16:49] um you have to hand it to dave because he never ever got voted out and so that was an achievement [16:59] um it did feel like at one point they were going to change the
