[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Coresight's LA3 facility, the latest addition to our Los Angeles campus comprised of the iconic one Wilshire building and our high performance LA2 facility. I'm Eric de la Pena, sales engineer for our Los Angeles market here at Coresight, and I'm excited to tour our facility. LA3 is the first ground-up purpose-built data center facility in Los Angeles with the ability to connect any building within the campus through a single cross connect. Cross connects between buildings are achieved through multiple paths of high-count dark fiber. With the addition of LA3, Coresight's Los Angeles campus has been expanded to over 700,000 square feet of total data center space. LA3 is a four-story building consisting of three phases. Each phase will consist of a 36,000 square foot computer room. In addition to accessing all of the major cloud providers and hundreds of networks within the campus, this centralized downtown location provides exceptionally low latency access to businesses, end users, and interconnection and all of the other areas. Coresight's Los Angeles campus offers ample capacity for customers to cost-effectively expand their infrastructure and connectivity requirements in a scalable high-density modern data center. This combination of scalable space capable of supporting high-density applications and the unrivaled connectivity options make our campus the premier option for enterprises looking to support digital transformations and mission-critical IT applications. Access into the building will be granted through the LA2 lobby and will consist of traversing through dual authentication man traps. From a security perspective, LA3 is protected by perimeter fencing with CCTV monitoring all entrances and exits into the facility. From a monitoring perspective, the facility along with its critical infrastructure is monitored by the operation support center, OSC. The OSC is responsible for field and customer inquiries and working with the field to resolve any alarms or operational issues. Coresight's facilities all use building monitoring systems that monitor environmental conditions and the integrity of the electrical and mechanical plants. If an alarm is initiated, the OSC and the field teams acknowledge the alarm and work together to resolve the issue and provide the necessary communication to affected customers. Customers have often commented that our employees are the key differentiator. We have customer-focused personnel who understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships. All OSC personnel and data center operations personnel are Coresight employees with expert knowledge on security, telecom, and data center protocols. Now let's take a look at the first computer room we've built, which is on the fourth floor of LA3. This 36,000 square foot room supports up to 6 megawatts of critical IT draw. The diversely powered computer room air handlers configured in an N+1 configuration provide forced air cooling through our 36 inch raised floor. This combined with our 6 foot hot air plenum and various cooling solutions allows LA3 to support high density custom deployments up to 30 kilowatts. From a fire life safety perspective, the computer rooms are equipped with smoke detectors and VESDA monitoring and utilizes a dual interlock dry pipe fire suppression system. The second and third floors of the facility will be built in a similar fashion with the ability to provide custom solutions based on customer needs. Now let's take a look inside our MDF. LA3 has three fiber points of entry, allowing multiple paths for our carriers and fiber networks to access the site. Our diverse MDFs act as a main connection hub for customers to gain access to the carriers and cloud partners. Coresight pre-wires every customer space to the MDF in order to expedite the provisioning of the cross connects, a key customer differentiator. The diverse paths within the suite connect back to the LA2 meet me room, which is tethered to the one Wilshire building through multiple rings of high count dark fiber, providing access to an unparalleled network rich environment. Now let's take a look at our electrical room and the switchgear that are comprised of our ring bus system which controls the source of power between our utility feeds and generators and ultimately feeds our UPS and mechanical systems. Switching between those systems is controlled by the switchgear within our electrical room. LA2 is supported by a 2N 25 megawatt substation and our 6 megawatt computer rooms are supported by 4 to make 3 distributed redundant UPS systems. At full build, the site will be able to support 18 megawatts of critical IT draw. Each UPS system supports a 6 minute battery run time at full utilization and is backed by a maintenance UPS allowing for concurrent maintainability during maintenance and operations. Our various building control systems are supplied from our redundant task UPS which was intentionally designed separately from our customer facing backup systems. Taking a look at our generator sets, we have 4 3 megawatt Cummins generators on site with 10 designed at full load. The 4 Cummins generators are configured in an N+1 configuration. Our mechanical plant consists of 1500 ton Dakin chillers which are configured in an N+1 configuration. The chiller control systems are powered by our task UPS ensuring continuity in control even in the event of a loss of utility power. 3 chillers are currently installed with 5 designed at full load. In addition to providing customizable deployments within our 4th floor computer room, CoreSight also offers roof space for lease. LA3's downtown proximity with 360 degree views make this rooftop an ideal location for antenna. The loading dock for LA2 and LA3 is able to comfortably support 50 foot trailers and is capable of supporting the delivery of fully populated racks. From an ease of deployment standpoint, there is no data center in downtown Los Angeles that provides the access for multiple trailers, room to unload and unpack over a covered dock, temporary secure storage and the equipment necessary to support a smooth move in. It is open 24/7, 365 days a year and is manned with onsite personnel. Once gear is unloaded from the dock, customers will traverse down a short dedicated path towards large freight elevators that can support fully populated cabinets. CoreSight offers customer amenities to make working at LA3 more comfortable. We offer secured parking for our customers, guest wifi, tech lounges for a more peaceful work environment, various staging options and conference rooms available for reservation. Lastly, customers that wish to manage and monitor their deployments remotely may do so through the myCoreSight.com customer portal. Our portal allows customers to place orders for new services including remote hands, new cross connections, power ads and build out related services such as PDUs, cabinets, fiber trays, structured cabling and more. Additionally, you can submit trouble tickets, grant or restrict physical access to your cage or cabinet, monitor your power consumption, view environmental data such as temperature and humidity within your cage, print your invoices, view CoreSight's compliance reports, view your contracts and control who in your company has access to each section of your account. CoreSight's remote hands service provides customers access to a team of highly trained in-house operations technicians that are available 24/7. We've made it easy for our customers to submit requests for remote hands services through the customer portal. Through this feature, we offer the resources required to help install, operate and manage a data center deployment, supporting a multitude of international and off-site customers with helpful on-demand hands and eyes services. This concludes our tour of our LA3 facility and thanks for joining. We look forward to meeting you in person.
