[00:00:00] Speaker 1: We got quite the shock just hours ago when a sitting U.S. Senator, I would say a highly respected one, visited Fort Knox. And yes, he saw the gold. But there's a catch, and it's a big one. Let's discuss it as we explore. Senator Rand Paul made a visit to Fort Knox, which is in his state, the state of Kentucky, which is actually a commonwealth. And what he had to report on was quite interesting. Of course, there's a big problem with this. We're going to get into that problem here in a moment. But nonetheless, it's an amazing thing to see a senator take this action. We've not seen this in this capacity since 2017 when another senator from Kentucky visited Fort Knox. That is Mitch McConnell, who is MIA right now. In fact, just as we like to see the gold, we like to see the senator, the other senator from Kentucky. Now, I'm going to play for you right now a statement from Senator Rand Paul, which I think is actually a very good statement about Fort Knox and about gold and about the dollar. Bringing this to the attention of folks out there and the overall general public is a very important step. And who knows? This very well could be part of a catalyst that could have Donald Trump order an audit of the gold at Fort Knox. But let's listen to what Rand Paul has to say about what the about the visit to Fort Knox. [00:01:42] Rand Paul: Fort Knox, we've come to see the gold. Our country has about 147 million ounces of gold and about half of it is stored here at Fort Knox. We're going to be going deep underground to see the gold. But more importantly, we're going to be talking today about what happened to our dollar when we separated from gold in 1971. Over 85% of the value of the dollar has been lost since we de-linked from gold. So there is a problem. The media now calls this affordability. What it really is, is inflation. We run a debt. As the deficit runs up, $2 trillion a year. Part of that debt is bought by the Federal Reserve with newly created dollars. This leads to inflation and prices are up. And my goodness, just go to the grocery store and still look at the price of meat. Prices are up 25% in the last five years. It's inflation. It's related to deficit spending. It's related to unbalanced budgets. So we're going to look at the gold today. But really what we're talking about is why is our paper currency failing us? And why does our country continue to run such massive debts? I'm going down underground and I'll let you know what I see in a little bit. [00:02:51] Speaker 1: So there it is. He's going to let us know what he saw in a little bit. Before we reveal what he saw, I want to thank channel sponsor Summit Metals. You can be your own central bank and hold your own gold. In fact, I can't think of a better way than to hold one grand bars in your own little mini vault in a form of a little Summit Metals wallet that you can get. You earn points for every purchase you make from their website. So check them out. Link is down in the description below. So I applaud the senator for making this statement and for going down into the vaults. We now know that it is deep down underground where the gold is stored. So there's a little bit of a reveal there that we never knew before. And the thing is, is mint directors have visited the vaults before. We've seen former secretary, treasury, secretaries of the treasury visit like Mnuchin back in 2017. There have been other dignitaries that have visited Fort Knox over the years, and they all say the gold is there. In fact, honestly, what really convinced me was the former Mint director, Edmund C. Moy, who visited the vaults and said, the gold is there. I believe it's there. I believe it's there as well. And by the way, spoiler alert, so does Rand Paul. He believes it's there as well because he saw it. In fact, what did he say? He says, yes, the gold is all there. Approximately 147 million ounces in a post that he made after the visit. He says it is impressive, but the real point is what it teaches us in 2026. So he was impressed that the gold is there, and he saw it. Of course, I don't know what he actually saw. Responses to his previous post says, well, they're going to be setting up an AI mirage for you to look at. You're not going to actually see any gold, and you may just see one vault, and it could be just gold-plated tungsten bars. He goes on to say, in 1971, we severed the dollar from gold. That's Nixon temporarily closing the window to gold. That's right. It was only supposed to be temporary. Look where we're at right now. We're totally free from any kind of tie to gold. And that is the federal government is free, and it enslaves us by inflating the value of the dollar, which means that it's losing value. It's devalued year after year at a planned 2%. That is their level of comfortability, the Federal Reserve's, for inflation. But he goes on to say here that prices are higher because the money itself is weaker, weaker in terms of its spending power, not in terms of its strength against other currencies. Nonetheless, he says a family making $50,000 with two kids that has not received a 25% raise in the last five years is falling behind. This is now often called affordability, but the accurate word is inflation. He's right about that. We run annual deficits of $2 trillion. The Federal Reserve buys about a third of that debt by creating new money. Every new dollar dilutes the value of the dollars already in people's pockets. Gold does not expand when Congress spends. Paper does. That's the difference. He's spot on with that, and it's great that he's brought this to people's attention, and it is sorely needed. This sort of came out of the blue, and it's pretty amazing that he's posted this year. It's going to bring awareness to it, and there has been a bill that was sponsored by Rand Paul to produce a full audit of America's gold. And so I think it's interesting to see that he has made this trip without any cameras, no cameras. Of course, cameras were not allowed for him to do that, but he saw it for himself. Of course, you know, he probably already knew it was there. So why did he do that? It was kind of just one of those things where we're taking his word for it. And of course, he says it's there. The gold is there. All of it. Are we going to take his word for it, or is he going to be part of the cabal now? Senator Rand Paul is not known to be such because, you know, his father is Ron Paul. And we know what Ron Paul's feelings are on various different issues. And so do we believe the sun, or has the sun been bought in order to say that all the gold is there when it's really not? This post and his visit are not going to convince anybody. Of course, neither would the case be if he brought cameras down there to show us, which is not going to happen unless there's a planned trip that would involve probably a higher dignitary than him in order to see it. And I guess there's probably a lot of logistics involved in order to make that happen. And I think that's probably one of the reasons why it hasn't happened. But nonetheless, Senator Rand Paul also says 21st century Federal Reserve policy has abandoned any notion of money as a scarce commodity. The predictable results are chronic inflation and public uncertainty about the dollar's future purchasing power. And that's true. But what causes inflation? It is deficit spending. In other words, spending more than the amount of taxation and the money that's coming in. You're running deeper debt. Deficit spending alone is what causes the debt to go higher. What causes deficit spending is the creation of these dollars, either by the printing press or digitization out of thin air. And that's where most of it, a few mouse clicks or just algorithms or just, you know, a planned program that creates them is really what it's about. The M2 money supply has been increasing at an incredible rate. And so will this lead to any kind of action or activity or an audit? Likely not, although it brings awareness. And I think that's great. Who knows? Maybe Donald Trump will see this, these posts and be maybe encouraged or maybe, you know, sort of inspired to go through and set up a visit to the Fort Knox to be able to see the gold for himself or at least a portion of the gold. My guess is that Rand Paul did not see all the gold that's there. Of course, he didn't examine all the bars that may have opened up a seal that may have gone into a vault. He may have been able to hold one of those bars, which is likely 90% gold that has been melted down from old coins. All the St. Guns and $20 gold eagles that have been confiscated from Americans back in 1933 and 34. That could very well be the case. But notwithstanding, it is interesting news to report to you. And that's what I like to do on this channel. I like to bring you the latest news and analysis in the world of precious metals. So let me know what your thoughts are about this visit from Rand Paul to the vaults of Fort Knox to see the actual gold inside there.
