Finally, the grand masters set aside their differences And created a unifying body for all the martial arts A new spawning competition has been devised to represent the ultimate challenge Now witness that which was centuries in the making Quest for the Dragon Star Quest for the Dragon Star [00:14:20] Speaker 5: Quest for the Dragon Star [00:14:23] Speaker 11: For centuries, martial arts champions Thank you very much. [00:16:41] Speaker 13: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Bandai's Power Ranger movie presentation. This summer, 20th Century Fox will be releasing the much-anticipated Power Rangers the movie, featuring a new line of Rangers and Power Zords and evil space aliens. Kids are already talking about it, because this movie trailer is playing right now in theaters across the country. [00:17:00] Speaker 14: Each has a gift. Each has a power. Each has a purpose. And together, they will face their greatest adventure. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The movie. The power is on. Next summer. [00:17:53] Speaker 13: Pretty dramatic footage. Bandai has an exciting toy line to go along with. Let's start with these 3-inch collectible figures. There's 12 styles to choose from in this assortment, featuring the brand-new Ninja Rangers. They will be blistered on cards, featuring the distinctive new look, and especially the silver foil movie logo. Moving on to bigger things, we have the 5 1⁄2-inch movie Power Rangers, all in these gleaming metalized costumes, just like they wear in the movie. And each Ranger comes with its own power gun sword, and a colorful metalized power coin as a bonus. Their blister cards will continue the new style, and of course prominently feature the silver foil movie logo. Now really, what good would these shiny new heroes be without these 4 new 5 1⁄2-inch evil space aliens to kick around? We've got Ivan Ooze, the slime of the century, and the fattest bad guy in the universe. Then Mordant, this trusted lieutenant, who's always ready to fight with death grip, the fierce Tengu warrior, and of course, you all know Mr. Charm and personality himself. Next, what we have is the 8-inch movie Power Rangers. All six Rangers are featured, especially the leader, the White Ranger. Each comes with its own special lightning vault tattoo as a bonus, and these vacuum metalized and articulated figures will all be packaged in this memorable triangular box. Now it would hardly be fair for these 8-inch Power Rangers to pick on these 4 1⁄2-inch evil space aliens. What we'd much rather see is to have them pick on some of their own size. So we've got these 8-inch evil space aliens. Here's Ivan Ooze, our old friend, is back again with his two ectomorphicon machines. We've got Ornitore and Scorpitron. Now these big molded figures are articulated for posability, and they will come in a window box just like this one. Now, when Ivan and his mighty beasts go on a rampage, I mean, who are you going to call? Why, the Ninja Zords. The movie introduces the Power Rangers' new and more powerful personal power zords. There's five in all, including the ape, the bear, the frog, the wolf, and the crane ninja zords. When they morph together, they form a virtual mountain of mighty morphing power called the Ninja Megazord. It acts as a fun 1-2 punch action. And it also comes with his own personal power zords. But that's not all. The White Ranger also receives his own personal power zords, called the Falcon Zord. And it can combine with the Ninja Megazord to form the even mightier Ninja Mega Falcon Zord. Now, the Ninja Mega Falcon Zord will be packaged in a window box, just like this one, which will prominently feature the Ninja Megazord and, of course, the Falcon Zord. To coincide with the release of the movie, Vandao will be releasing its own Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie video game on the SuperNest platform, and there's also a Game Boy version. Of course, all six Rangers are featured. Lord Zed, Ivan Ooze, and a few of his closest friends in this side-scrolling hyperaction game. To help our customers create a dramatic presentation of the movie toys, we'll be providing both shelf talkers and header cards, just like you see here. Now, Vandao will begin promoting this exciting new line at the height of the movie pre-release Marketing Blitz with this great commercial. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. [00:21:52] Speaker 15: I just saw the Power Rangers movie. These guys are metallic. Lord Zed's freed the monstrous Ivan Ooze. Good thing the Power Rangers know that Jet. There's lots of new evil space aliens like Mordant, Ivan Ooze's piggish henchmen, an army of ten warriors are looking for a fight. And the worst, Ivan Ooze. He's using his ooze to brainwash all the parents. But I'm not worried. After all, it's just a movie, right? [00:22:16] Speaker 16: Power Ranger movie figures from Bandai. [00:22:18] Speaker 13: The power is on. So that's the Power Rangers new line. As you can see, it's a dramatic new look to keep Morphin Mania going strong right throughout to the summer of 1995. [00:22:29] Speaker 17: We are here to introduce you to the 1995 Fall Line for Power Ranger by Bandai. The first we'll start with a brief review of this review. [00:34:54] Speaker 17: Let's focus on the softer sweeter side of our favorite superheroes Power Ranger Girls. One of the most unusual aspects of the more phenomenal success of the Power Rangers has been its unprecedented appeal to little girls. For the first time an action figure line has truly crossed the gender barrier. For the fall of 1995 Bandai America is introducing a new line of Power Rangers toys designed specifically to appeal to little girls combining all the excitement of the Power Rangers but featuring the play patterns and features that little girls love. First we have the Mini Worlds two complete play sets on a miniature scale. The Pink Rangers Mini World has a park setting on the outside and the famous Angel Grove juice bar on the inside. It comes with Kimberly the Pink Ranger her friend Rocky the Red Ranger and Tengu an evil space alien for Kimberly to defeat. The Yellow Rangers Mini World features Aisha the new Yellow Ranger Tommy the White Ranger and a vile sorceress Rita Repulsa all in a cute suburban home. When the little girls are finished saving the world they can pack everything up in these tiny cases and carry them with them wherever they go. The Mini World will come packaged in a window box like this one featuring a brand new look for Power Rangers girls which is pretty as well as exciting. For Christmas 1994 we introduced the Nine Inch Dolls which were very successful. So for 1995 we're bringing back Kimberly the Pink Ranger in a brand new outfit and with a new hairdo and adding Aisha the new Yellow Ranger. Both dolls have long rooted hair and are fully posable and each come with a high school outfit and their complete Power Rangers uniform including helmet Power Morpher and Blade Blaster so they'll be ready to morph into Power Rangers the moment danger threatens. Kimberly and Aisha will both come in a window box like this one. Right in time for Christmas 1995 Bandai America is introducing the Pink and Yellow Rangers deluxe set including both Kimberly and Aisha and two complete outfits for each. These fancy party dresses and these glamorous new Power Rangers costumes just like the new outfits they'll be wearing in the upcoming movie. And as a special bonus this beautiful Power Rangers collector's ornament will be included in each kit. Finally we have the carrying case play set which features everything little girls need to act out their favorite Power Rangers adventures. On this side we have the Angel Grove juice bar complete with Ernie's counter and a small table and chairs. On this side we see the Angel Grove gym with a clothes rack for keeping everything tidy and a balancing beam for practicing those tricky moves. There's also room in here for the Power Rangers helmets and other accessories so when you're through playing you can put everything inside close it up and carry it away. The carrying case play set will be shrink wrapped with a band like this one featuring a large photograph of the contents. Bandai America will be supporting Power Rangers girls with a new commercial featuring the dolls and the carrying case play set. Let's take a look and look at that now.
