ANNOUNCED! Hot Toys Alien Warrior – 40th Anniversary Reveal!

alien fans are going to be happy today we've got the alien warrior that's just been announced for the 40th anniversary of aliens and this is looking asus i mean i've got the scorched xenomorph that's my only alien in the collection got big chap on pre-order um but this is looking fantastic as well so yeah it looks let me look at the shine on its head that's the first thing that caught my attention because they'd like they look really kind of like like a black color in the film don't they but this has got don't let's the lighting or what but there's a lot of blue on it um but it looks ace and then with the deluxe version so there's two skews you got eight nine eight i think an mms 899 which is the collector's edition and the deluxe edition so the deluxe version comes with this egg which obviously got to get the uh the deluxe version here um seamless silicone legs two pairs of interchangeable seamless arms two pairs of interchangeable seamless arms that's interesting that's uh pretty cool so two interchangeable mouths mouths with extendable inner jaw so that's a bit like the um the scar so you know when you can take the take the mouth off that's a good a good idea that because it prevents like all the stretching on on these bits here um that's looking ace a load of hands with it as well looks so good this uh let's go to the next one here's a comparison of so this is the this is i think that's the early earlier alien warrior mms 354 yeah this is big chap um mms 826 and then this is the warrior the new one in the middle i mean it looks massive don't it compared to the other ones compared to this one i mean if you've got this one that'd be ace to have like two alien warriors like different sizes as well because they're not all like exactly the same are but you can see the proportions there it looks fantastic having this set would be amazing that i can't wait to get a big chap um and that's the so the height difference as well i i thought big chap was literally bigger but obviously not i thought he was going to be bigger than the warriors and the alien warriors but uh yeah clearly he isn't but here's a close-up look at the egg the details on this look fantastic as well would have been nice if it was like kind of you got this one then like an opening one maybe with you know the face sugar coming out of it but um that's looking good look at the veins up it as well and all this stuff it just sticks to the back of the the stand xenomorph egg with tendril themed display attachable to the main diorama base and you've got all like the alien gear on there as well such a i can't wait for this looks ace and there's a close-up of the head just i mean they're always like amazingly detailed out of these obviously from the uh the geiger artwork um just love all the pipe work on it it's quite iconic i know it's kind of hit and miss in it whether you like aliens or not i think a lot of people don't really get on with it but this is i watched this when i was a kid and it was like absolutely amazing i did actually watch aliens before watching alien so um yeah this this has got a kind of a bit of a special place so it'd be great to get the colonial marines as well and newt i reckon we're going to get a obviously a ripley but yeah it's very blue in it which uh it looks really good and they did um they had them both side by side they had another kind of color variant of this it was more like a brown color so i don't know whether that's going to get released at some point as well or announced but for now we've just got this this version of it highly detailed hyper realistic sculpting and paint i mean the weathering on it looks brilliant as well uh just the rib cage looks amazing i think it's just got it absolutely perfect i think so two pairs of interchangeable seamless silicon arms i'm not sure exactly what the difference is here um i'm not sure what what that's about there to be honest i'll have to have a proper a proper look at it at some point proper read of it but that looks like it's got a bit of a hole in it there whereas this one hasn't that's the only difference i can spot there's obviously going to be something like glaringly obvious that i'm not seeing there but um yeah i'm not 100 sure the difference is on there yeah let me know in the comments uh that probably come to light at some point and there we've got uh ripley um whether that's a bit of a tease or that's like an older one i'm not 100 sure someone let me know in the comments obviously ripley uh got released years and years ago before obviously i'll stop i was only collecting star wars for for years and years and missed out on all all the alien stuff essentially so but look at that pose there i mean the scotch xenomorph just showed how how like the range of movement's just unbelievably good on these now um i know the because it used to be the aliens and predators used to be like model kits i think whereas obviously these are like fully fledged six scale figures and yeah they're just looking incredible look at that just look brilliant this definitely going to need a ripley to go with this and there was a i saw a tease of um i think it was a ripley from alien which was a bit weird i would expected an aliens with it being the 40th anniversary ripley but no sign of that yet i'm sure they're going to be going to be releasing more stuff it can't just be this like i say there's potentially another variant of this another color variant um which we'll have to have a look at but so there's the interchangeable mouths with extendable inner jaw yeah i wonder if you get a little you get a little magnet with the scorch one to pull that that um in a jar out that was looking great that done it all those different versions there i do like this kind of angry looking one just fantastic i just love the design of it so let me know in the comments whether you're interested in picking this up or whether you're skipping on the alien stuff but yeah so 100 this is we've got to get this maybe two eggs i don't think there's a i don't think you get two eggs with it but they're showing me two eggs um yeah so that's the that's the deluxe version and i think there's a load of pics of the other tail wraps around the egg there that looks asap what a display that looks amazing i think that's how i have him displayed actually because that's kind of how i remember it other than like scuttling along the uh the views and stuff and the ceilings and things like that that's looking fantastic and then i could i think it's just the same again photos but without without the egg so there you go showing the arms showing the highly detailed hyper realistic sculpting and paint i love that picture and they're clinging to the wall as well absolutely phenomenal and there yeah they're just the same but obviously another look at the the different heights and the different sizes of the figures there i think if you if like me you've skipped these ones or this one it's a good time to start picking these up because obviously they're looking a lot more bulkier bigger and presumably more realistic i don't know but still even like i say even if you've got this one it's that looks ace as it is there so i'm sure it still holds up again with ripley close encounter looking amazing this so yeah i'm really excited for this even though it's uh obviously out of my star wars lane but um loving this and then my background to andor so yeah let me know in the comments whether you're going to be picking these up or this up you're going to get multiple obviously we used to get like loads of them on it but um space is a thing and obviously it looks like it's going to be quite a big piece as well if it's going to be bigger than big chap so yeah let me
