He does not support violence of any kind. He does not support assaulting law [0:22] enforcement officers who are simply trying to do their job. It's very clear for the president [0:26] what he supports and what he does not. Unfortunately for Democrats that line has not been made clear [0:30] and they've allowed this unrest and this violence to continue and the president has had to step in. [0:35] One question. So if there were peaceful protests on Saturday for the military parade, [0:39] President Trump would allow that? Of course the president supports peaceful protests. What a [0:43] stupid question. Raquel. You just mentioned that the president is going to attend the dignified [0:47] transfer for these families. Given what Secretary Hegseth said this morning, is it the position of [0:52] this administration that the press should not prominently cover the deaths of U.S. service [0:56] members? No, it's the position of this administration that the press in this room and the press across [1:02] the country should accurately report on the success of Operation Epic Fury and the damage it is doing [1:08] to the rogue Iranian regime that has threatened the lives of every single American in this room. [1:13] If the Iranian regime had their choice, they would kill every single person in this room. And so we can [1:18] all be very grateful that we have an administration and that we have men and women in our armed forces [1:23] who are willing to sacrifice their own lives for the rest of us in this room and for every American [1:28] across the country and for every troop that is based in the Middle East. That's what these... [1:32] Secretary Hegseth was complaining that it was front page news about these six service members who were killed. [1:37] That's not what the secretary said, Caitlin, and that's not what the secretary meant. And you know it. [1:41] You know you are being disingenuous. There is not... We've never had a secretary of defense. Who cares more? [1:47] Let's get through where tragic things happen. It's front page news. I get it. The press only wants [1:50] to make the president look bad. As you know, we cover the debts of U.S. service members under [1:54] every president. The press does only want to make the president look bad. That's a... That's a fact. [1:59] Especially you... No, listen to me. Especially you and especially CNN. And the secretary of defense [2:05] cares deeply about our war fighters and our men and women in uniform. He travels all across this country [2:11] to meet with them, to connect with them, and your network has hardly ever probably reported on that. [2:16] You also have the chairman of the Joint Chiefs, Chairman Cain, who's a brave patriot, standing [2:22] alongside the secretary at the Pentagon this morning, again expressing his condolences to [2:26] these families. And I just told you that the president of the United States will be attending [2:30] their dignified transfer. So please... [2:32] We're talking about the dignified transfer. That's not making the president look bad. That's showcasing that. [2:36] We expect you to cover that as you should. We expect you to cover that as you should, Caitlin. [2:41] But you and your network know that you take every single thing this administration says and tries [2:47] to use it to make the president look bad. That is an objectable fact. [2:51] I don't think covering troop deaths is trying to make the president look bad. [2:53] If you're trying to... If you're trying to argue right now that CNN's overwhelming coverage is not [2:58] negative of President Donald Trump, I think the American people would tend to agree. And your ratings would [3:03] tend to disagree with that as well. [3:05] Thanks, Caroline. Earlier, you were just defending ICE agents generally. And earlier on, Secretary [3:11] Nuln spoke to the media. And she said, among other things, that they are doing everything correctly. [3:18] 32 people died in ICE custody last year. 170 U.S. citizens were detained by ICE. And Rene Goode was shot in the [3:27] head and killed by an ICE agent. How does that equate to them doing everything correctly? [3:32] Why was Rene Goode unfortunately and tragically killed? [3:36] Are you asking me my opinion? Because an ICE agent acted recklessly and killed an unjustifier. [3:41] Oh, okay. So you're a biased reporter with a left-wing opinion. [3:44] What do you want me to do? [3:45] Yeah, because you're a left-wing hack. You're not a reporter. You're posing in this room as a journalist. [3:49] And it's so clear by the premise of your question. And you and the people in the media who have such [3:55] biases but fake, like you're a journalist, you shouldn't even be sitting in that seat. But you're [3:59] pretending like you're a journalist but you're a left-wing activist. And the question that you just [4:03] raised and your answer proves your bias. You should be reporting on the facts. You should be reporting on [4:09] the cases. Do you have the numbers of how many American citizens were killed at the hands of [4:13] illegal aliens who ICE is trying to remove from this country? I bet you don't. I bet you never even read about Lake and Riley or Jocelyn Nungray or all of [4:23] the innocent Americans who were killed at the hands of illegal aliens in this country. And the [4:27] brave men and women of ICE are doing everything in their power to remove those heinous individuals [4:33] and make our communities safer. And shame on people like you in the media who have a crooked view and [4:39] have a biased view and pretend like you're a real honest journalist. As for your second question, Caitlin, [4:50] I think who is saying that, that that she would release this to try to boost her standing with [4:54] the president? Who has said that? Well, the president has publicly undermined [4:57] her when it came to Iran. He said she was wrong. He told me that she didn't know what she was [5:01] talking about. That was on Air Force One on camera. The only people who are suggesting that the [5:06] director of national intelligence would release evidence to try to boost her standing with the [5:09] president are the people in this room who constantly try to sow distrust and chaos amongst the [5:14] president's cabinet. And it is not working. I am I will I will just answer your [5:20] question directly. I am with the president of the United States every day. He has the utmost confidence [5:25] in Director Gabbard. He always has. He continues to. And that is true of his entire cabinet who is [5:30] all working as one team to deliver on the promises this president made. Director Gabbard, two follow- [5:41] It's very important to remember that before President Trump's landslide victory last November, [5:46] there was no end in sight to this bloodshed. Now there may finally be light at the end of the tunnel [5:51] and an opportunity for lasting peace. That's because President Trump is the peace president [5:56] and American leadership is back on the world stage. It should not be lost on anyone in this room that [6:03] world leaders are coming right here to Washington DC for help. While previous presidents have traveled [6:09] halfway around the world to apologize for America, President Trump stands up for America and he has [6:15] firmly restored America's status as the undisputed leader of the free world. However, one thing that [6:22] has absolutely not changed is the media's negative and downright false coverage of President Trump [6:28] and his foreign policy accomplishments. From the beginning of this entire process, [6:32] much of the left-wing media has been actively rooting against the President of the United States [6:37] in the pursuit of peace. Initially, the media ridiculously claimed that President Trump was somehow [6:43] beholden to Russia for even agreeing to have a face-to-face discussion with President Putin [6:48] inside of the United States. The media said President Trump was making a grave mistake by, [6:53] quote, legitimizing Putin. They were aghast that President Trump would treat another world leader [6:58] like a world leader. The media relentlessly attacked President Trump and claimed he suffered a, quote, [7:04] major defeat for not immediately emerging with a final agreement, even though he said heading into that [7:10] meeting. This was a meeting to listen and to understand how to move the ball forward. All weekend, [7:15] following those historic U.S.-Russia bilateral talks, we listened to clueless pundits on television [7:21] trying but failing to claim that the President had failed. The so-called experts in the foreign policy [7:27] establishment, whose record is nothing but endless wars, trillions of wasted taxpayer dollars, and dead [7:33] Americans, have the nerve to try and lecture President Trump, who has solved seven global conflicts in seven [7:39] months about peace. This is the same President, by the way, who brokered the Abraham Accords in his [7:45] first term on top of more than half a dozen other peace deals this year alone, as I just said. We also [7:51] saw yesterday the President of Ukraine and all of the other major leaders of Europe fly across the [7:55] Atlantic Ocean to meet President Trump at the White House because of the progress that was made and that, [8:01] if you ask the media, failed meeting, but it was not. It was highly productive and it was successful. [8:06] This is why Americans' trust in the mass media is at the lowest point in more than five decades. [8:12] Diplomacy is a delicate process, and instead of reporting the facts about what is happening here [8:17] at this White House and what is happening between this President and other leaders around the world, [8:21] many outlets in this room continue to try to actively undermine the President and sabotage the [8:26] efforts towards peace. That is why I felt the need to set the record straight. [8:31] Regarding the President's rhetoric, when the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003, George W. Bush [8:38] said in a message to the Iraqi people that the military campaign was directed, quote, [8:44] against the lawless men who rule your country and not against you. Yesterday, the President [8:50] threatened to destroy Iran's civilization, the entire civilization, not the Iranian government, [8:56] but the Iranian civilization, the Iranian people. The U.S. has been a moral leader for most of its [9:04] history by fighting wars against other governments, not against civilizations. How can the President [9:13] claim that America can ever have the moral high ground if he's threatening to destroy civilizations [9:20] and not casting wars as fights against other governments? [9:23] Ms. Andrew, I think you should take a look at the actions of this President over the course of [9:28] the past six weeks and the actions of our brave men and women in our United States military [9:33] who have taken out the military, essentially taken out the military of a rogue Islamic regime [9:39] that has chanted death to America for 47 years, that has killed and maimed thousands of American [9:45] soldiers over the course of the last five decades. The President absolutely has the moral high ground [9:51] over the Iranian terrorist regime, and for you to even suggest otherwise is frankly insulting. [9:55] The President was begging the question that I think a lot of journalists in this room should be [10:00] asking about whether or not the former President of the United States, who I think we can all finally [10:05] agree was cognitively impaired. I know it took people some time to finally admit that, but we all know [10:11] that to be true, as evidenced by his disastrous debate performance against President Trump during [10:16] the campaign. I digress on that. But the President was raising the point that, did the President even [10:22] know about these pardons? Was his legal signature used without his consent or knowledge? And that's not [10:29] just the President or me raising those questions, Kaitlin. According to the New York Post, there are Biden [10:35] officials from the previous White House who raised those questions and wondered if the President was even [10:40] consulted about his legally binding signature being signed onto documents. And so I think it's a [10:45] question that everybody in this room should be looking into, because certainly that would propose [10:52] perhaps criminal or illegal behavior if staff members were signing the President of the United [10:56] States autograph without his consent. The President is on the record talking about [11:00] issuing preemptive pardons to these people. But was he aware of the of his signature being used on [11:05] every single pardon? That's a question you should ask the Biden White House. Is there any evidence on that? [11:11] You're a reporter. You should find out. Sean. Tim Walz, Governor Walz, saying last night [11:15] he frequently checks Tesla stock in doing so to, quote, give me a little boost during the day. [11:22] How should Americans view politicians who take pride in the downfall of an American car company? [11:27] I think that's quite sad. But I think Governor Walz, unfortunately, is living a sad existence [11:32] after his devastating defeat on November 5th. Did the United States air strike a girls' [11:37] elementary school and kill 175 people? [11:40] MS. Not that we know of, Sean. And the Department of War is investigating this matter. And I would just [11:45] tell you very strongly the United States of America does not target civilians, unlike the rogue Iranian [11:51] regime that targets civilians, that kills children, that has killed thousands of their own people in [11:57] the past several weeks and uses propaganda quite effectively. And, unfortunately, many people in this [12:02] room have fallen for that propaganda. So I would caution you from pointing the finger at the United [12:07] States of America when it comes to targeting civilians, because that's not something that these armed [12:12] forces do. [12:13] MS. Thank you. Two questions not on the ballroom. The first is, there's a Democrat in Texas who's [12:18] actually running for Congress who said last night during an interview when talking about fighting [12:22] Republicans and this administration, quote, if you hit me in my face, I'm not going to punch you back in [12:28] your face. I'm going to go across your neck. This has obviously really upset those folks over at [12:34] Turning Point USA after the Charlie Kirk assassination. Just your response to that kind of rhetoric? [12:39] MS. Just very jarring rhetoric. And I think it's very unacceptable. I hope the people of Texas will [12:44] do the right thing and reject this person's candidacy. It should have no place in American politics. [12:50] And then just a quick second question on oversight Democrats that are saying that they're creating [12:54] this master ice tracker, basically tracking all ice activity. We've seen the protests in New York [13:01] just yesterday. Homeland Security is saying that this sounds like obstruction of justice. What do you say? [13:07] MS. Again, this is actively putting the lives of our ice agents at risk. We've seen media outlets, [13:14] in fact, in this room also write stories about ice tracker apps that Democrats and other left-wing [13:20] activists have created to track the location of ice agents on the ground in our communities. [13:25] Again, I've said this repeatedly and I will continue to say it. The men and women of ice are outstanding [13:30] people. I wish a Democrat on Capitol Hill would actually have the courage or the guts to stand up to [13:35] their party and sit down with some of these men and women who are doing this incredibly difficult job [13:40] of enforcing our federal immigration laws. They are, again, simply trying to enforce the law and do [13:47] their jobs. And if Democrats spent a little bit more time understanding that and also focusing on the [13:52] people who they are trying to get out of our country every single day. As I spoke about earlier, [13:57] three innocent people in California are dead because an illegal alien who Democrats let into this country [14:03] was wrongfully issued a trucker's driving license and clearly was not fit for the job because he [14:08] was driving intoxicated and killed three innocent people. Democrats should focus a little bit more [14:13] on that. Stop trying to fight this president and his administration on every turn and restore law [14:18] and order. That's all that we and these brave men and women of ice are trying to do. [14:22] Can you share what other assessments are currently underway to get to the bottom of just how [14:27] effective these strikes were? Yes. Well, I can assure you what the CIA director said, [14:32] that when we look at the entirety of the intelligence that we have to this date, [14:37] it concludes that these strikes on Iranians, the Iranian nuclear facilities were absolutely [14:43] successful. It was a total obliteration, as the president said. And not only does our own intelligence [14:48] say that, but also the Iranian foreign minister has said that. We saw Israel conclude the same thing based on [14:55] their own intelligence. We also had the United Nations say that as well. So I think the only other [15:00] time the United Nations, Israel, Iran, and the United States has agreed on something is that it's that [15:05] the sky is blue. But they all agree that Iran's nuclear facilities were completely demolished. And I [15:11] would just like to reemphasize you mentioned this was a low confidence preliminary intelligence assessment. [15:18] And the entirety of that assessment was not leaked to the media. Only tidbits of that assessment [15:23] were leaked to CNN. And we have seen this playbook run before, where you have people in the intelligence [15:29] community or perhaps on Capitol Hill. We don't know. But I believe the FBI is investigating to find out [15:34] who that leaker was, because it's illegal and they should be held accountable for that, leaked bits and pieces [15:40] of an intel assessment to push a false narrative. And it's to the same reporter, I will add Natasha Bertrand of CNN, [15:47] who has done this in the past. In 2020, it was Natasha Bertrand who had 51 intelligence analysts falsely [15:54] lie to her, but she still put it on paper for some reason, that the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian [15:59] disinformation. We all know that's not true, right? We can all agree on that now. That was a lie from the [16:04] intelligence community. Also in 2020, this same reporter, Natasha Bertrand, wrote that a top intel agency ruled [16:11] out the manmade lab leak theory of the coronavirus origins. Again, the president was right about that. [16:18] This reporter wrote a lie from the intelligence community to seek a narrative she wanted to prove. [16:23] And guess what? We now know that's the truth. Also in 2024, Bertrand pushed the suckers and losers hoax. [16:30] She also pushed the fine people hoax, which was taking the president's words purposely out of context. [16:37] And then last October, and I believe this is notable, Natasha Bertrand published an article [16:41] in Politico from the intelligence agency. She said that John Ratcliffe was speaking without any evidence [16:48] when he said Iran was attempting to undermine President Trump's presidential campaign. [16:53] And then we, of course, found out that was absolutely true. In fact, the Biden administration [16:58] declassed an intel report, which said they had high confidence that Iran had done exactly what [17:03] Ratcliffe alleged. They did run an influence campaign to hurt President Trump's candidacy. [17:08] In fact, we know the Iranians tried to take President Trump's life. And so this is a reporter [17:13] who has been unfortunately used by people who dislike Donald Trump in this government to push fake and [17:19] false narratives. She should be ashamed of herself. And that's not what reporting is. Journalism is trying [17:24] to find the facts and the truth. And this week, we saw this same reporter being used to push a fake narrative [17:30] to try to undermine the President of the United States and, more importantly, the brave fighter pilots [17:34] who conducted one of the most successful operations in United States history. And I think the American [17:39] people fully know that this operation was a complete and total success. [17:43] The Pressure And today, Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner reiterated threats to potentially [17:49] arrest ICE agents that were sent in to assist with these historically long KSA lines. He said, quote, [17:56] the President cannot pardon you. Has the President seen Krasner's comments? Does he have any response? [18:00] The President cannot pardon you for what? He's talking to the ICE agents who are handing out [18:05] water bottles and are helping people move through lines at airports. It's a disgraceful comment. [18:10] The men and women of ICE are great people. I would encourage this lawmaker whose name I don't know [18:15] and don't care to know to actually sit down and speak with the ICE agents who are on the ground doing [18:20] this important work, not just in our nation's airports, but again, to remove violent, [18:25] dangerous illegal alien criminals from our country to protect this individual and all of us in this [18:31] room and Americans across the country from murderers, pedophiles and rapists who have been [18:36] allowed into our country by Democrat politicians.
