40 Years Of Pixar Funko Pops!

[00:00:00] Speaker 1: - 2026 officially marks Pixar's 40th anniversary. And so I went through my entire collection to find over 130 unique characters across 31 Pixar movies. And we're gonna be going through all of them today. So sit back, relax, grab your favorite snack, and let's start with "Toy Story." Now, this is actually the movie with the most figures, and that totally makes sense considering it's the first Pixar movie ever and the amount of characters that they have in it. Like technically, we are introduced to all of the figures that we're seeing in front of me here for the very first time. And I think they honestly are so amazing seeing them all together. Some of my favorites here too are like the Pizza Planet truck as well as RC. And you may notice that a couple characters actually double up because they're bundled with other ones. Like for example, the only way that you can get Lenny is inside of the VHS cover here. And that means you also have to have Woody. So there's Woody here as well as him on RC. Or I guess another one too would have to be this Buzz Lightyear as well as Mrs. Nesbitt, which is technically different, but still they're similar characters. What's also really crazy too is that these characters just keep coming for Toy Story. Like just recently, we got Andy as well as Sid and Baby Head as well as the Janie pterodactyl doll. And I have a feeling they're not gonna be stopping anytime soon because there's always new stuff that they can be creating. But anyways, now let's get onto our second movie, Bugs Life. A lot less characters, but Funko made some really great figures for the movie. We have Princess Atta as well as Flick with the dandelion and Heimlich with his beautiful little butterfly wings. And now technically there have been a few other figures created for this movie. We got a regular Heimlich without the butterfly wings as well as Flick with no dandelion. But I decided while doing this video to pick out my favorite version of every single one of these characters. So that's why I went with, I think, the better versions of them. And now I guess technically we have got Alien Remix, Tuck and Roll as well as Dot, but because they're the aliens dressed up as them, I didn't really count them. Because here's the thing, what movie do you even put those in? I don't really know, so I left him alone. And I guess with that being said, let's move on to our next movie, Toy Story 2. Now, of course, with this movie, we were introduced to a couple new characters we did not see in Toy Story 1. Like for example, Jesse as well as Zurg and Stinky Pete as well as Al. Weezy too, and I think actually Bullseye as well. It's a lot of these guys. And I think because these movies released, of course, before Funko started making Pops, they made a majority of them for the first movie. And whoever was just new, they would then put them into like the Toy Story 2 category. Because of course we do get some double ups here with this Woody as well as Buzz being specifically for Toy Story 2 when they're playing video games towards the beginning. And then of course this Rex here was too perfect not to show you. But then of course we have this version of Bullseye here with Woody on top. So that's why we have both of them out. Just because this one's specifically for the movie. But then this is the best version they've ever done for Bullseye. Another interesting fact too, is that this is the only way that you can get Zurg. And yes, mine is a bobble head. They did it for a little while there where if you picked them up over at Target, they bobble. Why? I'm not exactly sure. I think they were testing it out because some of their other characters have to bobble due to a licensing thing. And it never really stuck around, but I like that I have a couple of them in my collection still. So not too many characters compared to Toy Story 1, but still some amazing figures. And now let's move on to Monsters, Inc. Now, a little fun fact about this, everybody. The Monsters, Inc. set actually has one of the newest characters that I picked up for this video, with it being the first time we ever got Randall for the movie. It's when Boo attacks him, smacking him with a bat a bunch of times, and he changes colors. It's so good. And taking a look at the rest of the characters, we have Boo where she's actually in her monster suit. We, of course, have Chef over here, which I think is a really fun one. I believe he's the one that yells, "A kid! A human kid!" Then, coming a little bit farther down, everybody, we have the Yeti or Abominable Snowman. I don't actually know if he has a real name. And way, way, way down at the very end, we've got George Sanderson. And now you might notice, out of all of them, he definitely looks like the oldest figure. And well, that's because he is. They only made one of them, and it was probably over a decade ago, so he looks a little bit odd compared to the rest, but we need to include him. And actually, speaking of some old figures, let's move on to our next movie, Finding Nemo. And now the reason I say that is because they haven't made these characters in such a long time. Like, they are definitely due for a refresh. And actually, as of me recording this, Funko has announced that there is going to be a brand new wave of Nemo figures coming soon. But the problem is, they're always making new characters, so there has to be a cutoff at some point. And the good news is, a lot of those characters do already have figures that we're talking about today. Like, for example, Dory, as well as Nemo. Bruce is getting a new one, and Crush. But if we're looking at new characters, Darla, as well as Marlin, and Squirt are all getting figures. And I am so excited to be able to add those to my collection in a few months when they do release. Because to be completely honest, Dory needed a refresh. I think she's just a bit of a weird shape to turn into a pop, and this new one looks a thousand times better. But anyways, let's move on to the next movie, The Incredibles. And this is what we've got for the movie, everybody. And now, it does look a little bit weird, because not every single character is here. A lot of them actually fall under Incredibles 2, which we'll talk about later. But what we have right here is all of the different characters that they've created for the first movie. We have Mr. Incredible, we have Elastic Girl, as well as, of course, Edna Mode with the flames on her glasses, which I love. There is also the version of her with the newspaper in her hand, where she goes, "No more capes." But I thought this one was just so much cooler. And then, probably the craziest out of all of them, we have Syndrome being attacked by Jack-Jack. He's actually floating in the air. His hair is all messed up. I think it really is an amazing figure. And like I said, probably my favorite out of the bunch. I mean, come on, look at him compared to the rest of them. And now, if you've been collecting Punko Pops for a long time, you might remember that this version of Mr. Incredible, well, not this one exactly, but him in this suit, the original one that released was actually a Comic-Con exclusive and goes for thousands and thousands of dollars. And when this one released, a lot of collectors were on the fence about it, but I think it is so neat that we did get it eventually at a much cheaper price point. But with that being said, let's move on to Cars. Now, similar to The Incredibles, a lot of these characters fall under future movies because there is, of course, three of them. I'm pretty sure most of them fall under Cars 3. Either way, though, we do still have some really great characters for the first one, like with Doc Hudson here. It's the only time we've ever got him as a pop. Ramon is also so cool. And I love that they actually have glitter in his paint. If you look closely, he shines pretty well, just like his actual paint jobs do in the movie. Then we've got Lightning McQueen with Rusty's all over it. And of course, that Mater. And also what I love about Mater is that they did more than one version of him for this movie. We also have that classic looking version with his actual teal paint job. Oh, it's so nice. I am hoping, however, we get more characters from this movie. Like, I would love to see Red. I would love a Lizzie. I would also love a Fillmore and Sarge. I mean, Funko, if you're making more Pixar pops, you got to do some more for Cars. And don't get me wrong. I know that they are making some new ones. We're getting a brand new Mater as well as Lightning McQueen. But I think, come on. We need some of the other guys from Radiator Springs. Anyways, before I get too off topic, let's move on to our next movie, Ratatouille. Little Chef, these figures are so good, everybody. And I made it a point to grab the one of Remy making Ratatouille. It is just so much nicer than the other versions we've gotten. They did one a little bit more recently of him eating cheese, but I thought a meals eating cheese. We'll let that be his thing for the video. And of course, we have Alfredo Linguini, where he actually has his pan in his hand, like he's cooking something in the kitchen. Something else that I do also want to point out about this movie is that Funko has made another character for Ratatouille. It was actually Colette, but they only made her as a Funko soda, not a pop. If you don't know, that's another line of characters that Funko has created, which they've discontinued. But I think it's so cool that they made her there. Why not bring her over to that pop style as well? I think it'd be so nice, we could get Chef Gusteau, the food critic, also who's the head chef? I cannot remember his name. He's the guy with the little pencil mustache. You all know who I'm talking about. But I guess that's everybody for now, so let's continue along to Wall-E. Now I'm sure off the bat, a lot of you guys are wondering, why are there two Wall-E's on the table? Well, that's because there's technically a different character in this figure. If you look really closely on top of the trash square, you will notice that Funko included the cockroach, and oh my gosh, it is so cool that he's sitting on top. I had to include him. But then everybody, moving along to the next set of figures that we've got, this is probably the best version of Wall-E and Eve that we've ever had. The thing is with it though, is that Eve is technically shut off in this one, and there are other versions of her with her eyes open, which also look really good, which is the way that they did this with all the trash around it, the garbage can where it actually says Eve plus Wall-E with a little heart around it, him trying to hold onto her hand by like reaching in and prying it open, as well as the lights. It's all just so perfect. Plus, it's also one of the only moments we've got from Pixar as a pop. Now, of course, we did just take a look at Remy making Ratatouille, but this really does kind of encompass an entire scene from the movie. Oh, and of course, everyone, also on the end here, we have Moe, who actually has two different versions of him. We've got the regular one here, but also he can get angry. And again, not very many characters created for this movie, but who else would they make? Maybe the captain of the ship? But anyways, though, let's move up to our next movie. It's kind of funny, everybody. The house is so large with the balloons. You can't really see me in the middle here, but I love the collection they've done for this. One of my favorite things is definitely going to be that pop town, which is what Funko calls them if you don't know. It's where they take buildings from different movies and TV shows and stuff like that, and they turn them a little bit more popified for your collection. So we've got this one here, and if you're wondering which character it came with, it was actually Kevin, which I thought was pretty fitting, because I think for a majority of the movie, Kevin is with the house. Actually, I think it's the entire movie. Kevin and the house are together. It was also a great way to give us that house, but also a brand new character. I believe it was also like a convention exclusive. Like you couldn't just go to the store and pick one up for your collection. Anyways, though, continuing along some of the other characters here, we have the young Ellie as well as Carl, and I love it because these two are actually a two pack. You've got together him with the aviator goggles on, as well as that spirit of adventure balloon, and she, of course, has the adventure book. It is so, so nice. Then, coming over to the other side here, we've got Russell, so great, in his Wilderness Explorer uniform. Doug with Cone, and then, of course, that older version of Mr. Fredrickson with those aviator goggles again. Well now, everybody, I think it's time we've got to float back down to our next movie, Toy Story 3. This is actually a pretty great collection of characters, and you might not recognize one of them off the bat. We have Tin Toy here, which was originally a Pixar short and still is. It's not like they removed it from anything, but Tin Toy here, which I believe his name was Tinny, if I'm not mistaken, was also included in Toy Story 3 during the Sunnyside daycare scene. You know, when the gang first gets there, all of the toys come over to see, oh, who are the new ones, you know, coming into the daycare. And in the background, you see a bunch of others that we haven't seen anywhere else before, including the Tin Toy. I think it's a neat addition that Funko did to the Toy Story collection. But anyways, continuing along, we've got a bunch of other new characters, like Prickle Pants, as well as Chuckles. We also have, well, of course, in the middle here, another Buzz and Woody. It's from the very end of the movie, of course, when they're giving the toys away to Bonnie. These two are then sitting on the front porch, which I think is just like such a great scene to then turn into a pop. Going back to these two here, though, everybody, this is similar to the Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, where they've never actually created them for the movie specifically, but because they have speaking roles, I wanted to include them. Barbie has the biggest role in, of course, Toy Story 3, where she becomes a main character with Ken, and then the chatter telephone is very helpful later on. I don't know why I'm saying it like I don't want to spoil anything. This movie's been out since 2010, everybody. If you wanted to see it, you should have by now. Sorry, sorry, didn't mean to get so heated there. Let's move on to Cars 2. Well, I guess it's kind of fun fact time, everybody. Cars 2 doesn't actually have any figures made specifically for the movie. Of course, we have a Lightning McQueen, we have a Mater, but there aren't any that I could show you today that are specifically branded Cars 2. There is, however, I figure that's going to be releasing within the next few months of Mater with a jet pack coming out of the back, and I feel like that is pretty Cars 2, if you ask me. But for today, that means we don't have anything to check out, so let's move on to the next movie, Brave. And I guess with this movie here, they really only need to make one figure, Merida. And of course, this here is like the ultimate version of her. That's why I picked it. A little while back, Funko had made an ultimate Disney princess collection, and I made it a point to go and pick this one up because I knew I would want to talk about it at some point later on, and well, today's that day. With a lot of the other versions of her, it's kind of just her standing there. But with this one here, she's got her hair blowing in the wind, a bow in her hands, also a target next to her. And I also really enjoy the base that they included, where it's got like the dirt around the edges, the tufts of grass. It really is just like the ultimate Merida figure, and I'm guessing that's why they're called the ultimate Disney princesses. Now also, do I wish that they created the brothers as bears? I think that would be such a fun set to get, but we don't have that for today, so let's move on to Monsters University. Did you know that Randall was on Roar Omega Roar? Yeah, no, me neither until I really took a look at this Funko Pop, and for the longest time, that was actually the only way that you could get him. Because we talked about it earlier, but for the original Monsters Inc, they just created that figure of Boo hitting him in the head more recently. And if I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I think I like the Monsters University version a little bit better. It's just he's so cute with the glasses on, and then the way they did Sully and Mike look so good too. Mike, with the stack of books in his hand, he also has the Monsters University cap on. The only thing that I wish was a little bit different about it is that there wasn't like a little rip on the corner. I think that would have made it such a perfect figure. And Sully, of course, with Uzma cap on the front. It really does look good, and it's funny how they seem younger, and I know, of course, they are, but the way that Funko was able to make them look younger in such a simple style. And now, I know I've been talking about it a lot today, but there are so many other characters that I would like to see turn into pops for this movie. Like, for example, Squishy would be great. Also, Art would be amazing. Again, I can't get off topic. Let's move on to the next one with Inside Out. I'm gonna be completely honest with you guys. I don't remember this unicorn in the movie. What I do remember, though, is going to the Disney parks and them having, was it a pride collection? Maybe something like that. But the unicorn was like a big part of it. It's such a weird thing, and I know I haven't seen the movie in a little bit. Of course, I watched Inside Out 2 more recently, but the unicorn, I don't think, was in it. Anyways, though, continuing along, let's get into the five that we have here. With joy, as well as sadness, we've got anger, fear, and disgust. Oh, and of course, we can't forget about Bing Bong, Bing Bong in the back here. He is so amazing. And honestly, it's probably one of the saddest figures we're gonna take a look at today, because when you see him on the front there, it says, "Take her to the moon for me, okay?" And he's also like half-translucent. It is so, so nice. I really am a big fan of this one here. It's also not the only version they've done. There was one that they did where he was completely translucent, but I think that this one really does just wrap up the entirety of Bing Bong in one character, and that's why I love it so much. And you know how I've been talking about wanting more characters for movies? I think, honestly, they did pretty much everybody I could ask for here. I can't think of anybody else. Maybe Riley, but I think besides that, this really is the perfect collection for the movie. So, no notes, and continuing along, let's check out The Good Dinosaur. Spot's a really great figure, but Arlo might be one of my favorite Pixar pops in general. There's just something that I really enjoy about a Good Dinosaur figure, and with this one here, he's got his little legs all folded up, his smile's really great. Also, the spots they did on the front there, and his little, like, patterns on the back. It's all done so, so well, and this is all they've ever created for The Good Dinosaur. I believe they released right around the time of the movie coming out, and then that's it. They've never done anything else. And now, of course, with it being the 40th anniversary, could we maybe see some, like, updated versions in the future? Maybe some sort of moment with both of them put together could be really cool, or, like, a six-inch version of Arlo? I don't know. Something could be fun, though. And anyways, let's move on to Finding Dory. You know how earlier I was talking about that Dory figure needing an update? Well, she's back again. And there's a good reason for it, because when they made the figures for Finding Dory, the only new one we got, technically, was Hank. But when it came to Dory, for some reason, they just updated her box to save Finding Dory. And so, technically, I'm showing you two different figures here. One that had a Finding Nemo box earlier, and then this one here with the Finding Dory box. I know, I know. It's odd, but I wanted to include her, because I thought it was a fun story. And then, of course, when it comes to Hank here, he has the little coffee pot in his hand, as well as, technically, he's a cephalopod, so only seven tentacles. And just to make sure here, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. That's right, guys. They did not give him the eighth one, and I think, Funko, it's a nice touch. Because it's one of those things where you could totally just overlook that while creating the figure. You might not even be thinking about it, but no, there's only seven. So do I wish we got an updated Dory here? Yes, but the good news is we are getting one soon, so I can't complain too much. And now, let's move along to Cars 3. Funko was really cooking with these, because I love the Luigi and Guido. And yes, on their boxes, it does say Cars 3. Otherwise, I totally would have put them in the original Cars. I also think it would have been so neat, though, if they put Guido actually holding a little drill in his hand, or if they somehow did one now with like a speech bubble and him saying Pete Stop. Funko, you can have that idea if you want. It'd be such a neat figure. I'd love to add it to the collection. And then, we also have this one here, guys, which is, of course, Cruz Ramirez, her debut film. It's pretty neat, too, because she has the Dinoco branding all over her. And then, taking a look at this Lightning McQueen here, I actually picked out the chrome version, because I'm pretty sure this is the only one we have for three in his regular colors. I say that because for this movie, we got a bunch of different paint jobs for him. There's even one of him with absolutely no paint, just like that steel base. But of course, Funko also sprayed him up with the fabulous Lightning McQueen. That looks so amazing. I really am a big fan of that car. Anyways, though, driving along, let's get into Coco. This is a pretty colorful collection that we've got, because they didn't just make a regular version of Dante. Actually, this is the only version of Dante you can get. Pepita is also super bright. And for Miguel, I ended up going with this version here with his guitar as well, because I feel like putting these all together, it just really, I don't know, it completes the collection. And no, don't get me wrong, the original version is so good, but having him next to Hector and Ernesto, the three of them really do look nice. And talking about the figures a little bit more, I'm also loving the lines on this, as well as the polka dots and the paint around their faces. They remind me of the sugar skulls, and of course, that's what I believe they're supposed to be based on. It really is a well-done collection for Funko, but let's continue along to Incredibles 2. Incredible, incredible, bow, bow, bow, bow. Here we are, everybody, with all of the Incredible 2 figures. You may notice with this one, we actually get the entire family. We've got Dash, Violet, Jack-Jack, as well as, of course, Bob and Helen. These are really great too. And taking a look at Jack-Jack, they didn't just make one version of them. You can get them in pretty much any form you want, including Gigantic. Honestly, a really fun thing that Funko did. And I think my favorite is gonna have to be the flame version of them. But now also, everybody, we've got a couple other new characters too, like with Frozone here. It's the first time we ever got him as a pop. And you're taking a look at Void, which is kind of a weird one for them to make, because there are so many other new supers that are in the movie. I don't know why they just did her, but either way, it's still a really cool figure and something that they do not do very often, where it's got like this, I don't know, Void around her, I feel like would be a good word. Then of course, everybody, we've got the Screenslaver off to the side over here and the Underminer, who is like right at the very beginning of the movie, but they never made him for the first one. So I'm assuming that's why they made him here for the second one. And I guess he probably has more screen time in Incredibles 2, so it works out. And well, now that we've gone through these, everybody, I'm gearing myself up for the next one, 'cause it's a lot of characters. Whew, Toy Story 4. Okay, it's not as many as I remembered, but it's still a lot. I did notice though however, Toy Story 5, it's gonna be an even bigger one. That's not now, so let's just talk about the new characters that we have here. Combat Carl Jr., Duke Caboom, Bunny, and Ducky. And I think with those two here, it would've been kind of fun if they were actually like connected together by the hand, but of course they made them two separate characters. It might've just been like a little bit easier when selling them or even like, I don't know, displaying them, or maybe it was a problem with like, the connection point of the actual figure. Maybe it broke a lot, I don't know, maybe they tested it, I would love to know. But anyways, continuing, we also have Benson as well as Gabby Gabby, who I'm gonna be honest, I didn't really like. I understand that they're the villains of the movie, but they still, I don't know, there was just something so weird about Benson. And then Gabby Gabby was like, okay. But you know who's someone that I really enjoyed? He's right there in the middle, everybody. It's Forky, he's trash, he's my favorite. Definitely out of this movie here, he was like the highlight. I always loved the comic relief, whoever it is in the movie, and he was definitely a good one. Oh my gosh, and where are my manners, everybody? I just realized now, she's so small, I had her in my pocket still. It is Officer Giggle McDimples. Gosh, what am I doing? I guess when I was setting everybody up, I forgot to take her out. But yeah, that is her down in the middle there. She actually comes with Bo Peep, who has a brand new look for this movie. You might remember with the other one, she had the bonnet as well as the dress, but this one, she's a little bit more girl bossy, but it's fun. And of course, everybody, just like a lot of the other movies, we've got a Buzz, a Woody, and a Jessie. But now, let's move onward to the next movie. You see what I did there, everybody? Anyways, we've got all five of the characters here, and it's kind of an underrated movie. It's also funny because Chris Pratt and Tom Holland are the voices of Ian and Barley Lightfoot, and I forget about that. Anyway though, taking a look at the characters that we've got here, of course, it is the manticore in the middle, and then we also have wielding Lightfoot and the unicorn. The unicorn also had a chase, which I did really enjoy. I don't think I ever got that though, because when I was digging around my collection, I could not find it, but I did have the original with the normal horn. The only thing that was different was that the horn glowed, which is cool, but it's not that different for the figure. And I think, honestly, out of all of these figures here, it's the cheapest one, but it's one of my favorites, the manticore in the middle there, just because of the amount of detail that that figure has, with like the scorpion tail in the back, as well as the wings, it's crazy. If we were to get one other figure for this movie, I think it would probably have to be maybe Ian and Barley inside of their van with the unicorn painted on the side of it. That would be a really cool one. But anyways, let's continue along to Soul. I love that they made the normal versions of Joe, as well as Mittens, and the Soul World variants. We also got Moon Wind, as well as 22 Grinning, but they don't have other versions. It's just those guys here. But yeah, the Conductor Joe, where he's got it in his hand, as well as his fedora, and then him also having the little fedora with like his finger up for the Soul version. It's pretty cute. And when you take Mr. Mittens and make him so much larger for that Soul version, I also really, really enjoy that. It's just really funny how plump he is. Yeah, I'm just taking a look at these again, because I really don't look at this set that often. It's one of the only times I've talked about it, probably since I picked them up. But anyways, continuing along, let's get into Luca, who has some pretty interesting figures. Silencio Bruno, these guys are great. And technically, we have four different characters here, with Machia Valli being on the side. It really does elevate the Julia figure. And then of course, we've got Luca and Alberto, but these aren't the only versions we got. You can also check out the underwater ones, which I love. They're just so much cooler, and I love how Funko made it look like they're floating, where they actually aren't touching the ground. Like, their feet are not planted. They're a little bit like, you know, floaty, underwater-y. I think you guys know what I mean. And it's funny, these guys go from looking like pretty normal kids, to then turn into a pretty cool fish. Just like our next movie, Turning Red. Thank you, thank you. I know, it was a pretty great segue. But anyways, take a look at what we've got here. It is the regular Mei Li, as well as the Red Panda Mei. And what's cool about the Red Panda Mei, is that the only way you could get it was if it was flocked. Actually, hold on, everybody. Never mind, I stand corrected. I just checked. There was also a normal version, not flocked. But I mean, if you're going to pick up one of them, you just pick up this one here. That's why I totally forgot about the other one. Anyways, not the point, everybody. This is, though, every single character, which is only one, but technically two figures that they created for the movie. Something else that I really like, and it's carried across both figures here, is that Mei is actually kind of like, you know, off to the side with a peace sign. And that really does show that it's her. It also just gives the figures a little bit more life. And I enjoy that. But I think, though, with there only being two figures, that's all we've got to talk about for this. So let's continue along with Lightyear. And now, remember earlier when I was talking about Zerg, this is the other version that we have. And it's a lot different from that original that we know and love. Because if you haven't seen this movie, it's the one that Andy would have watched to want a Buzz Lightyear toy. And so that's why I think it's a little bit funny that Zerg looks so different. But then again, everybody, you got to think of it this way. Like how I have these stylized Funko Pops here. They look a little bit different than, you know, Buzz Lightyear does in the movie. So maybe when they were originally creating those toys, there was a little bit of creative freedom and a bit of creative liberties being taken there to make them seem a little bit different. I don't know. But whatever it is, these are still some really fun figures. And I think out of all of them, Socks is definitely my favorite. He really does look so nice. This one is also flocked. So he's just got that little bit of fuzz to make him feel more like a real cat. That Zerg also does look really great, especially with that purple metallic paint. Izzy is another really great one, too. And when you take a look at the Lightyear, I picked probably the best version of them that they did, where he's got the helmet on, as well as a little tiny version of socks under his arm. A pretty great collection overall. But now let's continue along to two figures that just got created recently, Elemental. This is a movie that Funko did not create figures for right away for some reason, because they had for every other Pixar movie that came out after Pops were a thing. Maybe they thought the movie wasn't going to do that well based on other movies that have released recently. Like, I know Lightyear didn't do amazing in the box office, but this movie was really good. And I think with the amount of people that enjoyed it after it had released, they were like, "You know what? We got to make figures for it." And they didn't just make regular ones. These here that I have are actually the Chase variants, where they have glitter kind of like baked into the vinyl, which I love. There's also stuff in their hands. So it kind of feels like the normal ones are for the beginning of the movie. You know, when they just first meet each other. But these ones here, because they have like the little fire in his hands, as well as the actual, I believe it was a glass pitcher, if I'm not mistaken. Both of those things feel more like the end of the movie. Like the two of them are crossing over, and I think it is such a great set. I honestly am a big fan of these ones here, and I'm kind of glad that they waited, because it makes the figures just so much cooler, because every bit that they wait, it means that they have like new things that they can use to create their figures. And what I mean by that is like, you know, the designers get a little bit more creative. They have a little bit more fun with them. And these, you can definitely tell whoever worked on them did an amazing job. Now for this collection, we didn't actually get all of the original emotions. Again, we got a lot of the new ones, along with joy for a second time. What I do really like though, is that these ones still fit well with that original collection. We have Embarrassment, Joy again, of course. But we also have Anxiety, Envy, and Ennui. Definitely a weird one, and I remember when the movie was first being announced. It was like one of the first trailers. They were talking about the new emotions, and people were like, what the heck is Ennui? But it fits really well. And anyways though, I think out of all of these ones here, my favorite definitely has to be Anxiety. It's just so different from a regular Funko Pop. Actually, now that I say that most of these don't look like a regular Pop. But now, let's get on to the next movie, Elio. As you can tell, we only got one figure for this collection, which is Elio with ooh. And I think, really, it's the best way to do it. There are, of course, a bunch of other characters in this movie, like Ambassador Cuesta and, uh, hold on, Glordon and then Gligor and all those guys. But I don't know, I think this one here really is all you need. Even though I do think I would have liked a Glordon, but it isn't necessary. And I think the outfit that they put Elio in was great. They made him, like, you know, the Ambassador of Earth version of him, where he has the cape on, as well as the nice suit, and he also has his loafers on, which actually, I think he wears the entire time, but it definitely looks really good. It's like him, exactly. And it's funny, with a lot of the newer Pixar movies, they're not making as many random characters. They're kind of just sticking to the ones that people like the most, and I think that's been working out really well for them. Because I'll be honest, a lot of these movies don't need a million Funko Pops to be made for it. But now, sliding along to the next one, let's check out Hoppers. It's funny, now that I have these out, it feels very similar to what they did for Turning Red, where it's literally two characters, well, technically, the same character, just two figures. But it's a little bit smaller than Turning Red, because they didn't make, of course, well, Mabel a six-inch version for the Beaver. But it's not even just that, though, guys. The way they did this one here was that the Beaver version of Mabel was the regular figure. Then there was a one in six chance to get the normal Mabel. So it's technically one figure with a variant. So they really did only do one like Elio. And I think, honestly, these two, like, who else do you need? Okay, no, no, there's a lot that I would like for this movie, like King George, as well as Ellen. Also, what was the shark's name? Not Darla, but it was something like that, where the shark came in and they have it on top of the limo, or not the limo, the convertible. That could be a kind of interesting pop-a-ride/moment, especially with how well received this movie was. I believe it's one of the top Pixar movies from this decade, and I really did enjoy it, too. But anyways, talking about the figures a little bit closer up, I love that Mabel Beaver, I guess we'll call her, is actually, like, walking a little bit. And then, of course, when it comes to the normal version of Mabel, she has the cast on, her grandmother's jacket. It's a lot of great stuff. Funko even went as far as to put Tanaka on the front of the jacket, and it's so tiny, but you can totally read it. Some really great stuff, but now, everybody, let's get into Toy Story 5. Now, if I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure this is the second largest collection out of all of the ones that we talked about today, with Toy Story 1 being the largest. And it totally makes sense with the amount of people that love Toy Story, me included, and I really do enjoy the figures that they made for this movie, and I tried to do, you know, all the tech together on this side, and I guess Blaze and Blaze's pet pig as well, because they are kind of, like, the owner of the tech. For the most part, anyways, I mean, I know, of course, Lily Pad is Bonnie's, but when it comes to, like, you know, Smarty Pants, as well as Atlas and Snappy, they're all, of course, Wild Blazes. And over on this side, guys, we, of course, have updated versions of Buzz, Jesse, Woody, with, you know, no bald spot on this one, because he does have the hat on, even though that would have been a pretty funny figure. Bullseye in the middle, and check this out, guys, our very first ever Karen Beverly, and, of course, it came with a Forky at their wedding. Oh, and something that I do want to mention, everybody, because this is a bit of a weird one. We have the high-tech Buzz over here that was actually exclusive to the Disney Parks. I made it a point to actually get that figure for this video, because I thought before seeing it, it was just like, oh, you know, a normal version of a metallic Buzz, but no, it is actually the new updated one where it's got the screen for the Star Command in the middle. This Buzz over here does not have that, so it is definitely the newer updated high-tech Buzz. And I do wish that there was, like, you know, some sort of propellers on the back, but I understand that that wouldn't really work because of how big the Funko Pop head is. But either way, though, it's still an amazing figure, and I'm glad that I've got it in my collection. And I guess, everybody, with that being said, Toy Story 5 is the last movie, so now we have just whatever's to come in the future. I'm also super excited about future releases like Gato coming out later this year, and I cannot wait to see what Pixar has in store for the future. Also, when it comes to Funko, I hope that they continue the Pixar collection, because they are always making amazing figures that, of course, I need to pick up right away. But anyways, though, I hope you guys enjoyed this 40th anniversary collection of every single Pixar character ever created as a pop.
