to call this meeting of tampa city council to order clerk would you please call the roll here young fiera carlson and clinton here we have a physical form thank you yes sir 80 we're doing uh 87 87 88 89 together yes sir good afternoon council brett owen acting chief of police i have with me uh tim shriver from peregrine to talk about this contract so peregrine is a basically a common operating picture to allow us some efficiencies with our personnel and with calls for service and our crime we are looking to integrate those three things that are already existing data sets into one platform where our commanders and our supervisors can see it all at one time in real time and make decisions on deployments it will be handy for things like halloween events that are coming up gasperilla coming up in january some of our large-scale events to that nature mr shriver can speak a little bit more about the access controls and the audit trails that come along with that system but we are looking at a 14-month contract starting in november of 2026 and ending in january of 2028 anything else you'd like to present on the issue um just answer any questions you may have anybody have any questions i have can i know this is we don't have public comment during this period of time i saw something um so just for clarification for the record just make sure i understand it correctly so the program that you're is is not in is not taking in any additional information it is just basically a software application that's able to bring in data that currently exists into one program yes sir we currently use oracle for our personnel management we have our axon body-worn cameras that will be going into it and in our records management system which is the police calls for service and the crime reports they will integrate those into one platform where you can see them all at one time okay and and no further integration to like additional cameras or anything no sir any additional fees would cost additional monies that we're not prepared to handle councilwoman hertech um you know i spoke to you a little bit about this this morning i'm still very concerned that the nap that the whole purpose when this went through procurement was for you to ask to be able to be connected with the systems that go across the state and i know you said that we can we can opt out of that and keep it internal but what i'm hearing from the public is that they're concerned that's not going to happen and so i um i can't support this going forward but just because i have to listen to the public that's very concerned about this um yeah that's all understood okay is there any other questions yeah i know we probably need to get councilman vera up here okay okay okay is that it no other questions okay um i need a motion to approve resolutions 87 88 89 i have a motion council miranda second councilman maniscalco all those in favor say aye aye aye opposed nay motion carried with her tech voting no vr being absent at vote and carlson asses thank you let's see where are we at thank you the next one is councilman viera so i don't want to do that one yeah uh we definitely need to wait for beer on that one um any another one that's it that's all we got 130 here we got to wait for 130. okay uh junior can we find councilman viera and compel him i say under chair's order he is compelled to return to council chambers um well we do when he gets back we go straight to number 90 and you're not even giving us a chance to hey no no no no you're out you're out of order there's just just fyi i know you're not normally uh you don't so i'll give you some difference what happens is uh sit for public comment prior to meetings in the morning if you're speaking to on agenda items there's an opportunity to sign up and register for on agenda items then we also have an opportunity for later that you sign up that you can speak to off agenda items prior to lunch and then there's opportunities during public hearings that that people are have an opportunity to speak but other than that those are the only opportunities you have to speak from the phone i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry sir i'm sorry sir you're out of order that's that you just committed a crime against this i'm sorry and every soldier that stands by i'm sorry sir i'm sorry sir and you can tell the police chief that every soldier in the united states that chooses to stand by their oath you just committed crimes against this nation and they all know it i'm sorry i'm sorry you're done i'm sorry sir i didn't anticipate those three items were going to go that quick i thought it would be much longer discussion well we could sing miss kapesky could sing for us
