Good evening and welcome, the Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 City of Plantation C.R.A. meeting is now called to order at 6.30 p.m. Ms. Beggelow, please call the roll. Commissioner Anderson. Here. Commissioner Andreu. Here. Commissioner Pageant. Here. Commissioner Horland. Here. Commissioner Reinstein. Here. Commissioner Sortel. Here. City Attorney Ezra. Here. Thank you. Thank you. So before we start, this is a very short meeting we had before the City Council meeting. I mean, we don't usually have this many people here. So we're going to do our business here. It'll take less than 10 minutes and then at 6.40 we'll start the City Council meeting and then we'll pass out some trophies and read some proclamations. The consent agenda consists of items 1 through 5 and may be approved with one motion. Does any member of the Commissioner wish to pull an item? Hearing none, may I have a motion? Motion to approve the consent agenda items 1 through 5. Second. Okay, Ms. Beggelow, please call the roll. Commissioner Anderson. Yes. Commissioner Andreu. Yes. Commissioner Fajan. Yes. Commissioner Horland. Yes. Commissioner Reinstein. Yes. Commissioner Sortel. Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Okay, we're at public comments. I have Mr. Conklin for the CRA. Good evening, Dennis Conklin, 4581, North West 6th Court. And as long as we've got a packed house for this one, I'll go heavenly host to protect you and your families. And I just wanted to comment, I'm so happy to see so many people interested in FlexSoon 73 neighborhood east in the turnpike. I had to park in the parking lot across the street. But basically, in regards to the CRA, because a lot of people may not know about it and they're here now, it's a development region in the eastern part of Plantation. I've been on the State Road 7 and Peters Road and Sunrise area and Broward Boulevard. And they've been doing a terrific job lately. They started in 2000 and it was for 30 years. And hopefully, they'll miss a little way through these last, what's left of six years, basically five years. And thank you very long. And next week, next one, I'll bet you I'll get a parking space. Thank you, Dennis. Is there anybody else in the chamber who would like to make a public comment on the CRA meeting? All right. I'm sorry? We got elected, sure. Council Member Andrea. Since this is the CRA portion of the meeting, it's only fitting that we recognize our CRA director, Mr. Glenn Hall, who was nominated as a trailblazer and received an award last Saturday evening. I don't think he's here this evening, but he's probably listening. So we were very proud of Mr. Hall and the work that he has done in the CRA and also for the city at large. And many of us were able to attend. Council Member Reinstein, Council Member Horland, and myself were able to attend their ceremony at Island Space Museum here in Plantation at the Broward Mall last Saturday evening. So, again, kudos to Glenn Hall and keep up the great work. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. So with that, we got six minutes to the council meeting. And the CRA meeting is adjourned at 6.33.
