I missed Dennis Conklin, 4581 Northwest 6th Court. I wanted to rehash what was brought up at the last CRA meeting about affordable housing. And at that time, I mentioned about the decoupling of the dollar, really, from a gold standard. And the advisability of not having affordability housing, advisable boards, because you're really a dog chasing your tail on this when you're not going to catch the Fed on this. Today, gold closed at $2,328.80. Back in the day when I was working before going into maritime college, sometimes I worked back line, sometimes I worked front line. When I worked front line, I would still get $10 gold bills. You couldn't redeem them because Franklin Roosevelt made it illegal for Americans to own gold at that time. But you could still get silver from the silver certificates. When I bought my home here 41 years ago, interest rates were about 14 to 17 percent. Second mortgages were at 20 percent. And we managed to get that under control for a number of years. And, in fact, they flattened it to zero, which kind of is bringing on this problem that we're having right now. So, about the affordability, because it's targeted within the CRA, the Gateway 7 District and everything, we've got a monstrosity going up on sunrise. I mean, it looks uglier every day. I just wish they could keep the district commercial because that's what it was developed for. I know because Plantation Park East was instrumental in collecting data for Dr. Kolo when he submitted our report to the county to get us that CRA. And they purposely excluded, although we were kind of led to believe that it would contain Flex Zone 73, neighborhood east of the Turnpike, it only included the commercial district. So, you've kind of turned the whole situation on its head. And, again, I'd like to say that you should have your other name tags up right now.
