To the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands nation under God, divisible. Next item, please. Mr. Chairman, at this time, you may open up all of the non-public hearing items for reasonable opportunity for the public to be heard. Okay. Reasonable opportunity to be heard. Anyone from the public wish to speak? Going once, going twice. Next item, please. Mr. Chairman, the following changes are requested to your agenda. On agenda item 6A1, the correction of a Scrivener's error on the TIP amendment form for financial management number 458470-1 in the description of the Aventura 191st Street roadway improvements. Inadvertently, it says Northwest 191 Street when it should read Northeast 191 Street. In addition, on agenda item 6B1, which is sponsored by board member Mickey Steinberg, board member Vicki Lopez has requested to be listed as a co-sponsor on this item. There are no further changes to your agenda. A motion to set the agenda is requested. So moved. Second. Thank you. First of all, if you can hold the motion for a second, I want to add, if we can, a motion to, we're having this issue with quorum a lot, and I think we're talking to the attorneys. We don't necessarily have to have this issue. I'd like to make a motion to amend quorum down to nine, if possible, and to change all the prospectus to match that. Sir Turney, could you read something out? It would be a motion to amend the bylaws, specifically Article 5, which currently reads, a majority of voting members currently serving on the governing board shall constitute a quorum. If I understood your motion correctly, it would instead read at least nine voting members currently serving on the governing board shall constitute a quorum. Second. Mr. Turner, do we have to add that into the agenda, or is it separate? There was a motion and a second to set the agenda. You can add it to the agenda, and then we'll take that up as an item. Okay, beautiful. So let's take the motion to set the agenda. We have a motion and a second. All in favor, say aye. Aye. Any against? Hearing none. Going to get a motion to add, well, I made a motion. Is there a second on the motion for the, we have a second. All of our papers to add it to the agenda, say aye at the end. Aye. Okay, perfect. Point of personal privilege, we have a new board member who was sworn in just before the meeting today. He's just a little bit younger than me. I lost my reign as youngest mayor in the county, so we're glad to have you, Mayor Calvo. You obviously represent a big city, and so this is important that you're engaging here with us today again, and so we're very happy to have you here and get around there and applause for any member. If you'd like to say something, you have this chance, but no, these people were all upset or on delay. Go ahead. Well, no, thank you. I appreciate it, Mr. Chairman, and thank you. I look forward to working with each and every one of you. Certainly, you know, we all understand the transportation challenges facing Miami-Dade, so I'm happy to be able to be a voice in that conversation, so thank you all. And next item, please. Item five, approval of the 2027 TPO Governing Board meeting dates. So moved. We have a motion and a second. All of our prayers say aye. Aye. Aye. I'd like to point out because the executive director has pointed out to me. It is March 4th is our 50th anniversary special meeting, which I don't know if that's going to be Pasaditos or something, but it's our 50th anniversary meeting. Next item, please. Do we have a motion to move all the public hearing items? So moved. Second. If I could read them into the record, then we can open and close the public hearing. You may. Go ahead. Would you like me to read all of them at the same time? Yes. Okay. 6A1. Fiscal Yers 2027 through 2031 Transportation Improvement Program amendment addition of projects funded by Fiscal Year 2026-2027 General Appropriations Act resolution approving an amendment to the Fiscal Years 2027-2031 Transportation Improvement Program to add projects funded by Fiscal Year 2026-2027 General Appropriations Act. 6A2. These are all public hearing items and roll call votes are required. Thank you. Can you read it again? So, do I need to open a public hearing again for this? Yes, you would open a public hearing. You can do so for all five items. Beautiful. Public hearing is now open for all five items. Is there anyone who wishes to speak on any of these items? Seeing no motion. Okay. Public hearing is now closed. Do we have a motion? So moved. Motion and a second. Call the roll, please. Board Member Alonzo? Yes. Board Member Cavill? Yes. Board Member Cohen-Higgins? Board. Next item on your agenda is 6B1, which is a request by TPO Board Member Mickey Steinberg and co-sponsored by Board Member Vicki Lopez. Resolution urging Miami-Dade County to advance the evaluation and implementation of a dedicated east-bound left-turn lane and associated traffic signal upgrade at the intersection of Dade Boulevard and Washington Avenue and to identify available funding to advance the project. We have a motion and a second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Next item, please. 6B2, 2027 Safety Performance Measure Targets. With a motion, we have a second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Any against? Hearing none. Item passes. Next item, please. Next item would be 6B3, which is the item that was just added to your agenda. Correct. Which would be a motion to modify the quorum requirements as outlined in Article 5 of your bylaws from majority of voting members to at least nine voting members. So moved. If you can just hold your motion one second. Member Alonzo? No? We have a motion? Yes. Second. We have a second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Any against? All right. We can finally have meetings. All right. Nice. Do you want to speak on an item now? Okay. Beautiful. Next item, please. Next item would be 6B3 committee appointments. I believe I have one here, and I believe Board Member Steinberg wished to make a motion. I can read Board Member Lopez wishes to nominate Michalina Witt to the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, and Board Member Steinberg wishes to nominate Mr. Jose Smith to the Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee. I don't know if there are any other names. I'll move those. I apologize, it's 6C1 is this item, the committee appointments. We have a motion. Second. We have a second. All in favor say aye. Aye. All in favor say aye. Aye. Aye. Any against? Hearing none. Item passes. Brother Alonzo, you wanted to speak? Thank you so much, Chairman. We'll call it good of the order. It's on the agenda, but we'll call it good of the order. Go ahead. Thank you so much for the opportunity to speak. I just wanted to really thank the team here and for the mayor to continue coming because we just got a great gift and notified today. Through our Safe Street program, which I know this board has been supporting heavily across all of our schools throughout Miami-Dade County, we were awarded this month over $850,000 that are going to be going to address May Walters Elementary as well as Henry Feiler Middle School in the city of Hialeah, where we'll be able to improve the safe routes for our students to get to and from school. These are very needed projects within our community. We know that Florida leads in fatalities when it comes to bike riding and walking the school. So I want to thank the incredible team here who has worked together with us over the last couple of years. I know that it says 2030, but in talking to the mayor, we're going to expedite this, and we really hope to bring this to fruition in the very near future so that we can continue to offer our kids safe routes to school. So thank you so much to the entire board for supporting this, as well as to Eileen and the team here at the TPO for supporting us on this initiative. Mr. Chairman, if I may? Yes. Thank you, Mr. Chairman. Just to add on that, I just want to thank you, Eileen. I want to thank the team. This is something that we've been working on together very closely, and this is a great example of what happens when people work together instead of working against each other. It doesn't matter who takes the credit, but this is something that we were able to accomplish for our city, accomplish for our children, and this is extremely important, Eileen. So I appreciate you not giving up on this project and making sure that we get this to fruition. And at the end of the day, school board member, I think the 2030 deadline is a little far out there, but I think we can move it up, Mayor. I think if we... We'll do the ribbon cutting next year. Yeah, we'll do that. I expect you behind me, like always. We can do that. No, you will be behind me, because this is a project that I was able to bring to... I was able to bring this project, so you'll be standing behind me, but it's okay. But anyway, Mayor, so I thank you for being here. And Eileen, thank you for your work, and I appreciate making sure we get this to the finish light, so I appreciate you all. All right. Mr. Chair? Yes, go ahead. Thank you. I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on SFRTA, since we have Hialeah here in the House. Tomorrow, we have our SFRTA meeting, and we're going to be making two presentations. I want to thank the Secretary that's here for all the great work that we've been doing with FDOT. For those of you who haven't been following it, we signed an MOU with FDOT, which would change the way that SFRTA works for the next 10 years and involves transit-oriented development and a lot of different tools that I think would be useful, not only here locally, but statewide. So I want to thank FDOT for allowing us to go a little outside the box. But we hired a consultant, and tomorrow we're going to be doing those presentations and really putting some examples behind what we're doing in the three counties in order to fund SFRTA. This is very different than what's been done in SunRail. So if you have the opportunity to watch the meeting, I would recommend it, and I'm happy to bring SFRTA here to give you guys an update. We're hoping to finalize this agreement by the end of the year. And obviously, we're also participating in the Coastal Link, so we're excited about what's happening there and happy to give you an update on how SFRTA is involved there. So thank you. Thank you. Anyone else? Mr. Chair? Go, Mayor. Thank you. Very quickly. One of the items on 6A1, bottom of page three, the Biscayne-Everglades-Greenway trail. Certainly, we want to lock down that pool of money, and I look forward to working with the director to bring back some tweaks and perhaps refocus that in a more impactful and expedited manner than the trail would provide for the other needs in Deep South Aiden. Absolutely. Thank you. All right. I think I can just call this, right? All right. Beautiful. Motion to adjourn? All right. Beautiful. Thank you, guys.
