[0:02] What's going on in Ohio? [0:04] Everyone having a good day? [0:09] Everyone going to go get their friends to vote tomorrow? [0:12] Please do that. [0:15] Please do that. [0:17] I don't know that I can watch some of these Democrats on TV. [0:23] I mean, watching Amy, it's like she got back every speech. [0:28] It's like she got back from a really long happy hour [0:32] with Kamala Harris. [0:35] I don't know that that's a person I want making decisions [0:37] that our children and our children after them [0:39] are going to be dependent on. [0:40] You? [0:42] You have Sherrod Brown as an option. [0:44] That seems like a real loser. [0:47] A guy who's a career politician, [0:50] who spent his life doing nothing other than being a bureaucrat, [0:55] loses to the great Bernie Moreno, who's crushed it, right? [1:03] And then rather than getting, like, I don't know, a real job, [1:09] just decides to start running yet again. [1:13] You guys have a choice tomorrow. [1:16] You've seen what the Democrats want for America. [1:21] You've seen the push towards communism, socialism, [1:24] open borders, transing your children. [1:28] And you, they want to do it, right? [1:31] I mean, they don't even hide from it. [1:32] Remember, they used to say those things in, like, in back rooms, [1:35] you know, well, we want to trans your kids, and we want to, [1:39] we don't want parents to know anything about it, [1:41] and we'll just let them do it. [1:42] And three-year-olds can make those decisions. [1:45] The 22-year-old that goes to college and gets a doctorate in, [1:48] you know, underwater basket weaving or gender studies, you know, [1:51] they don't know what they're doing when they sign their college loans. [1:53] They want you, hardworking Americans to pay for it. [1:57] They don't know what they're doing. [1:58] But the three-year-old should be able to mutilate their bodies [2:03] and be stuck with that in perpetuity. [2:07] So the choice here is so clear. [2:11] You can have people who've actually run businesses, [2:13] who've actually employed people represent you, [2:17] people who've actually done it in the real world, [2:19] people who have signed the front of a paycheck, not just the back. [2:25] Or you can elect the DSA. [2:30] You can elect the people that Chuck Schumer wants [2:32] representing you in Ohio. [2:38] It's simple. It's that simple. [2:40] The choice is yours, right? [2:43] It's communism. [2:44] That's not me saying it. [2:46] It's them saying it. [2:48] When they say they want to defund ICE, [2:50] they want to get rid of the Border Patrol. [2:52] They want to open our border to tens of millions of illegals [2:55] and make the illegals that are here permanent citizens. [2:59] When they say that, [3:00] what do you think their reasoning behind that is? [3:03] They want to, what is it, [3:05] save democracy by destroying democracy. [3:09] They want to pack the Supreme Court. [3:11] They want to make Ohio a state, make D.C. a state, [3:16] have permanent one-party rule. [3:19] All, all apparently, I don't know how it works, [3:22] but, you know, they can do these things and get away with it, [3:25] all in the name of somehow preserving democracy. [3:29] That's how it works. [3:33] We all know that. [3:34] We've seen it. [3:35] Again, they're saying these things out loud. [3:37] They're not even hiding from it, right? [3:39] They usually get caught in the back room, [3:40] and now they're just saying it. [3:41] They're running on it. [3:42] The most radical people ever put forth by the Democrat Party, [3:46] and they've been pretty radical for a while, [3:49] are the people actually winning their primaries. [3:54] AMIAC, that she, you know, beyond the drinking, [3:58] she's having Somalians campaigning for her all over the country. [4:02] How do you think that works out? [4:05] They're all over the place. [4:07] They're harvesting. [4:09] How'd that work out in Minnesota? [4:11] What ended up happening with a lot of that? [4:12] I can't remember. [4:15] There will be quality leering centers [4:17] all over the great state of Ohio, [4:20] paid for by you and other American taxpayers [4:22] as they defraud the country, and they don't care. [4:28] They'll get on TV and say, [4:30] you should just accept that. [4:31] They don't even want to look into the fraud, [4:33] just like they don't want to look into voter ID, [4:36] because they know what they want. [4:38] They want to win. [4:39] They want one-party power. [4:43] You guys have the ability to stop all of that tomorrow. [4:56] So as we kind of go down this path towards communism, [4:59] led by the Democrat Party, I know a little bit about it, [5:04] because my mother actually escaped it. [5:07] My mother escaped what was then communist Czechoslovakia legally. [5:12] She was a good athlete, so she got out during the Olympics. [5:14] And I remember as a child, my grandfather, [5:17] who was a hardworking blue-collar electrician [5:19] from what was then communist Czechoslovakia again, [5:22] he said, whoa, look at what you have here in America. [5:27] It's so incredible. [5:29] It's so amazing. [5:30] And to make sure I understood how to not take that for granted, [5:37] him, my mother, my father even, [5:39] decided it'd be a great idea for me to go over there every summer [5:43] from like the age of five for a few weeks. [5:46] I actually went there. [5:47] I waited in those bread lines, right, it was old school. [5:49] My grandfather, go get us bread. [5:52] It's strange that a five-year-old could realize, [5:56] you know what, this system doesn't seem like it's working. [6:00] I spoke the language fluently. [6:01] I had friends over there. [6:02] I actually lived it. [6:03] And yet, what's amazing, given how glorious it supposedly is, [6:10] based on the words of the Democrat Party candidates today, [6:14] you notice how you never see anyone from those countries [6:18] saying we should bring that to America? [6:19] Anyone who actually grew up or lived under those systems, [6:22] you ever realize that? [6:23] It's strange. [6:24] You would think that given how great they are and how wonderful it is [6:29] and the media tells us how great it is, [6:32] you would think you'd be able to find someone from the former Soviet [6:35] bloc advocating for that here. [6:38] You'd think you'd find people from Venezuela being like, [6:41] no, no, no, we really need this. [6:43] Or Cuba or any number of countries that those systems abjectly destroyed. [6:53] And yet, you don't, you get Bernie Sanders from his three homes. [7:00] Never had a job, a real job, but you know, [7:02] you must all give your stuff to our people, [7:05] and we will rule you and decide what's best. [7:09] So you guys have an option tomorrow. [7:11] You can spend the next 24 hours calling your friends, [7:15] calling your loved ones, making them understand what's at stake, [7:20] because everything is at stake, okay? [7:23] If you woke up on Wednesday morning and you were led by a drunk [7:28] and a bureaucrat who voted, by the way, with Joe Biden 100% of the time. [7:34] Just remember that, because they will do the whole shtick, you know, [7:37] oh, yeah, no, no, we're moderate now. [7:41] Yeah, they're not moderates. [7:50] Half of them just say this stuff out loud, [7:52] and the other half get caught on a hidden camera, be like, [7:55] no, no, no, and listen, we know, [7:56] we know we're not allowed to talk about, you know, transing your kids, [8:00] so we're not really for it, but, like, when we get in office, we will. [8:04] Look at James Tallarico down in Texas. [8:08] Look at Abdul Al-Sayed in Michigan, yeah. [8:16] Now, he was mad yesterday because apparently Pete Hegseth's parents [8:20] liked him and, like, showed up to his sports games and were supportive. [8:25] I'd say, Abdul, I bet your parents would have been supportive of you as well [8:30] if they weren't so busy working for the Muslim Brotherhood. [8:35] Yeah, they had other priorities. [8:37] They couldn't go to his games. [8:41] It's up to you guys. [8:43] We have two distinct, everyone tells you this, I get it, you know, [8:49] everyone tells you, oh, every election is the most important ever, yada, yada, yada. [8:53] It actually is because there's no such thing [8:57] as a moderate Democrat running for office anymore. [9:01] There are moderate Democrats in America. [9:03] I'm sure you know plenty of them. [9:04] They're reasonable people. [9:06] They have no representation because you can't win [9:11] without catering to Chuck Schumer, the New York elites, the coastal elites. [9:17] You have to bend to them. [9:19] You have to do as they say or you never get that vote. [9:21] So you pretend to be something otherwise, then you get in, [9:24] and you keep doing what you say, [9:25] because once you get in that position of power, you're never leaving. [9:31] So we have to go out and vote tomorrow. [9:35] We have to preserve our democracy. [9:38] We have to preserve this incredible republic because there's a reason. [9:45] Whether it's Iran, China, basically all of our enemies around the world love the Democrat party. [9:53] What does that tell you? [9:55] They'd love them to be in charge because it means the destruction of America as we know it. [10:01] The 200-year head start, the hegemony that we've had for two centuries, gone. [10:09] It's up to you guys. [10:10] I get it. [10:13] You haven't gotten 100% of everything that you wanted. [10:16] Oh, so we'll sit it out and we'll let the communists take over. [10:18] You think that's going to work? [10:19] When they open the borders, you think rent numbers are going to go down? [10:24] You think the record low crime statistics that we see now are going to go down? [10:30] The fentanyl that we've stopped, I mean, there's real wins here. [10:35] Stopping the death of fentanyl at record numbers [10:38] because we've actually put controls on these things? [10:41] They want that all gone, and they'll do it in a second. [10:45] They'll keep doing their shoulder trials. [10:47] You know, I know a little bit about it. [10:48] I've been through it before. [10:49] They'll do it again. [10:49] It's fine, you know. [10:50] We're used to it at this point. [10:52] It's like an average Tuesday. [10:55] But it doesn't have to be that way. [10:57] We can continue actually putting Americans first. [11:00] Your jobs, not those of illegals. [11:03] We can use your taxpayer dollars for your kids, for your schools, [11:07] for your roads, for your health care. [11:16] You give it to people who've never contributed to the system [11:19] once in their lives and let them run roughshodded. [11:23] Congratulations. [11:24] You have the privilege of paying for it, [11:30] of destroying your kids' futures for it. [11:32] And that's why we do it. [11:33] It's about those next generations. [11:35] So this, Toledo, is your opportunity. [11:40] Get out there. [11:41] Call your friends. [11:43] Take the next 24 hours to make sure [11:46] that we keep our country in our control. [11:50] It's shocking that that's even controversial anymore. [11:52] But that's what it's become. [11:54] You're going to get help from the mainstream media. [11:56] They're the ones whitewashing all the actual positions [11:59] of the other candidates. [12:01] They'll make them seem like they're moderate and great [12:03] and everything like that while trying to destroy [12:05] good, hardworking Republican candidates, [12:07] so many of whom actually, again, [12:08] have run those businesses and are fighting. [12:11] So support this ticket down the line. [12:14] And it's not just governor and senator, [12:16] maybe a congressman. [12:18] You've got to go all the way down to Dog Catcher [12:23] because they will weaponize all of it. [12:26] And I get it, for years we sat, [12:27] we're busy taking care of our families. [12:29] We're building businesses. [12:30] We're out there doing these things. [12:31] We can't be involved. [12:33] And that's how they took over. [12:35] That's how they took over education and pop culture, [12:38] started brainwashing our children, [12:40] manipulating with their nonsense. [12:44] It's not easy to undo that. [12:46] Don't let it happen. [12:48] Don't let it get started. [12:50] Ohio, get out there tomorrow and vote. [12:53] Bring your friends. [12:55] Bring your loved ones. [12:56] Call them all. [12:58] Make sure we win and we keep our country. [13:02] And don't give it to the sociopaths. [13:05] It's on you. [13:07] I'm going to be doing it. [13:09] We all have to. [13:09] There is literally no better use of our time. [13:11] So thank you all for all of your incredible support. [13:14] We love you. [13:15] We love the great state of Ohio. [13:16] We expect some big wins tomorrow. [13:20] Thank you, guys. [13:21] Thank you. [13:21] God bless. [22:40] And gentlemen, please welcome the 50th Vice President [22:45] of the United States, J.D. Vance. [24:03] Gentlemen, how are we doing? [24:05] Before we get started here, [24:10] I've got to give a shout out to some very dear friends. [24:13] First, we have one of the very best state GOP chairs [24:17] in the country, Alex T. [24:19] Give it up for Alex T. [24:26] We're here, of course, to talk a lot [24:28] about the gubernatorial and the Senate race. [24:30] But we also have four amazing leaders running statewide. [24:35] Keith Faber, Frank LaRose, Robert Sprague, and Jay Edwards. [24:39] Give it up for these guys. [24:40] I want to thank also our amazing energy secretary, Chris Wright. [24:57] And a man, ladies and gentlemen, who is, I think, [25:00] even more famous than I am. [25:02] Donald Trump Jr. [25:03] Don. [25:10] I hope you all had a very, very happy Halloween. [25:13] I know I did. [25:16] That guy did. [25:19] What did you go as? [25:20] OK, lots of candy. [25:23] That's what I like to hear. [25:25] So afterwards, my four-year-old daughter, [25:29] we start thinking about the next big holiday. [25:31] So I told Mirabelle, my four-year-old daughter, I said, honey, [25:33] all right, go to the toy closet and get me a couple of toys [25:36] because we need to start thinking about the toy drive [25:38] that we do every year for Christmas. [25:41] And Mirabelle comes back with two [25:43] of her brother's favorite toys. [25:44] Not the unopened toys, but two of her brother's favorite toys. [25:50] And I realized, ladies and gentlemen, [25:52] that I got a little work to do because a little girl who's taken from her brothers, [25:59] maybe she's a Democrat. [26:00] She's worried a little bit about that. [26:04] But here today, we're celebrating building something, creating something, [26:14] creating good jobs, and creating for our future, for our children, [26:18] right here in the state of Ohio. [26:20] We're not Democrats, we're Republicans. [26:22] We have, in this state, we are privileged, [26:31] with a whole slate of America First candidates. [26:34] And before we get to the two main events, [26:39] I want to remind you that we are on the eve of one of the most important, [26:44] I would actually say the most important midterm election of my lifetime. [26:52] And I'm closing out this midterm campaign right where it all started for me, [26:57] the great state of Ohio, because I know you're going to choose right tomorrow. [27:10] You know, this state made me the man that I am today. [27:14] It's where I learned to work hard. [27:16] It's where I learned to love my country. [27:19] It's where I learned that the United States of America is a place [27:25] where even kids from tough backgrounds can dream big [27:29] and see those dreams come into reality. [27:31] And you know, I didn't have an easy life I had. [27:40] I came from a background what some people might call underprivileged, [27:45] what people talked about as a tough childhood. [27:48] But I didn't think when I was a kid that I was anything but privileged [27:53] to grow up in the greatest country and the greatest state anywhere in the world. [28:01] I know. [28:01] And I think, ladies and gentlemen, after the USC game, God owes us one. [28:13] So I know that we are going to elect Vivek Ranavaswamy and John Huston. [28:18] Even though I didn't always grow up with everything handed to me, [28:31] I did not grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth. [28:35] I find myself, now that I've got four little kids of my own, [28:38] thinking about what it was a blessing to grow up here [28:42] and how important it is that we teach our kids the same lessons [28:46] that I was fortunate enough to grow up with when I was growing up in the state of Ohio. [28:51] So when I look out at this crowd, what I see is my own people. [28:56] And as many of you know, I came from a town, Middletown, Ohio, [29:01] just further down on 75, not all that different from the place that we stand today. [29:07] You know, Middletown, like Toledo, is filled with Americans who work hard, [29:12] who say what they mean, and who show up for each other each and every single day. [29:18] They'd give you the shirt off their back to a neighbor if they needed it, [29:23] and they'd do anything for the country the moment they are called. [29:28] I suspect that over the years, people in Toledo felt the way that I did growing up in Middletown, Ohio. [29:36] We felt like our leadership had ignored us and had left us behind. [29:42] I remember seeing factories close down. [29:45] I remember driving around beautiful Middletown, Ohio, [29:49] and seeing a place where my best friend's dad went to work [29:53] and knowing that that factory was going to close down. [29:57] Or seeing a factory where a friend's mom had gone for 20 years [30:03] and realizing that those jobs had gone to Mexico or to China or to somewhere else. [30:09] And I remember driving around my hometown wondering why it was [30:14] that politicians in Washington didn't look after people like my family [30:19] and didn't seem to care about places like Toledo, Ohio. [30:33] And at the election of 2024, if Ohio voting in record numbers [30:38] for Donald J. Trump represented anything, [30:41] it was that the places that we loved, we were sick of being taken advantage of, [30:46] we were sick of being left behind. [30:48] We wanted a future for our children right here in Northwestern Ohio. [31:01] And tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow, we have the opportunity [31:06] to ensure that Ohio remains a bastion of opportunity, of hope, [31:13] and importantly, of common sense. [31:16] You can vote. [31:19] You can vote for the crazies, and I know the people in this crowd won't. [31:23] Or you can vote for a guy like Derek Maron, who has cut your taxes. [31:43] Derek, that was an amazing reception. [31:45] I'm jealous. [31:48] But more important than my jealousy is the... [31:52] No, no, no. [32:03] You make an Ohio boy proud, but most importantly, [32:06] don't chant his name or my name. [32:08] Get out there and vote for Derek Maron tomorrow to be your next congressman. [32:18] Doesn't just talk the talk. [32:20] He has walked the walk. [32:21] He has taken on high drug prices, and he has protected our children [32:25] from radical transgender activists. [32:28] He's walked the walk. [32:29] Let's fight for him tomorrow. [32:38] We can also vote for a guy who wants to make it so that young people [32:43] can afford to buy a home in the state of Ohio, [32:46] who ensures that Ohio is not just the land of opportunity of the past, [32:52] but is the land of opportunity in the future, [32:54] Vivek Ramaswamy for governor of the state of Ohio. [33:07] And by voting for Vivek, it's kind of, you know, you get a twofer. [33:10] Because not only do you make a great leader, [33:13] the next governor of the state of Ohio, [33:16] you also prevent an unstable maniac like Amy Acton [33:20] from ever having power over our lives again. [33:28] You prevent Amy Acton from closing down our schools again. [33:32] You prevent Amy Acton from shutting down our churches [33:35] like she did the last time that she had power. [33:38] And you send a message to national Democrats [33:40] that Ohio is for common sense. [33:43] Ohio is for Vivek, for governor of the state. [33:54] You can vote to keep American elections [33:58] in the hands of the American people. [34:01] Now, I saw a story just in the last couple of days [34:05] that there are illegal communities of illegal immigrant Somalis [34:10] who are coordinating to flood the polls and drown out your vote. [34:17] Well, I happen to believe that we want American elections [34:23] to belong to American citizens. [34:25] Send a message by voting for Vivek for governor. [34:37] I have to tell you, though, that Vivek has the same name [34:42] as my six-year-old, okay? [34:44] And last week, I was driving around. [34:47] I was actually campaigning for Vivek [34:49] and for some of these other great candidates. [34:51] And as you all, in fact, some of you are holding up those signs. [34:54] Actually, I want one of these signs [34:56] because I got to take it back to my six-year-old, [34:58] that Vivek for Ohio sign, [35:00] because we're driving around South Western, Ohio, [35:03] and my six-year-old was like, [35:04] Dad, people know that I like Ohio. [35:09] And I was like, well, why do you say that, buddy? [35:12] And he said, because there are all these signs [35:13] that say Vivek for Ohio. [35:16] And, ladies and gentlemen, my Vivek is definitely for Ohio. [35:21] That Vivek is for Ohio, too. [35:32] Now, last but certainly not least, [35:34] you have an opportunity to vote for a patriot [35:37] who has delivered for the state of Ohio time and time again. [35:42] When we got no taxes on tips, that was because of John Huston. [35:48] When we expanded the child tax credit, [35:58] that was because of John Huston. [36:00] When we rolled back the Green News scam, [36:08] that was because of John Huston. [36:15] So if you like no taxes on tips [36:17] and no taxes on Social Security [36:19] and no taxes on overtime, [36:21] let's re-elect John Huston to the United States Senate. [36:32] You know what I like about John and Derek and Vivek is, [36:36] look, these are three guys [36:37] who know how to think for themselves. [36:39] They are independent-minded. [36:40] They're not always going to agree with the administration [36:43] or with any particular person. [36:46] But they answer. [36:47] The thing that unites them is they know who they answer to. [36:50] And they answer to the people in this hangar. [36:53] They answer to the people of Ohio. [36:56] For too long, for too long, [37:02] we've had too many politicians that answer to illegal aliens. [37:06] They answer to foreign corporate lobbies. [37:09] They answer to the bureaucrats. [37:11] They answer to the fraudsters. [37:13] That is the story of Washington for too long. [37:16] And that is what we reject. [37:18] With John and Vivek and Derek Marin, [37:21] they fight for you. [37:22] They answer to you. [37:23] Let's get him elected. [37:24] I have been accused, ladies and gentlemen, [37:35] by the corporate media for being an attack dog. [37:40] And all of you who know me know that I'm actually nice and cuddly. [37:44] I'm not an attack dog. [37:46] But I do like to talk about some of these crazies [37:50] who are running on the other side. [37:52] And that's an important part of our political process, [37:54] is to remind people that, again, [37:57] it's not just that John is a great public servant. [38:00] It's that he is running against a career politician. [38:04] A guy who was first elected to office 10 years before I was born. [38:10] A guy who voted with Joe Biden to open the border. [38:13] A guy who supported Joe Biden's effort to ship Ohio auto jobs [38:18] out of the United States of America. [38:21] A guy who supported the Green News scam, [38:24] which raises costs for every person in the state. [38:28] We have an opportunity, ladies and gentlemen, [38:31] not just to elect John Houston, [38:33] but to reject Sherrod Brown and send him packing once again. [38:46] What I don't understand about Sherrod Brown [38:48] is that he is a man who is desperate to represent the people of Ohio, [38:53] but he lies to the people of Ohio in the process. [38:57] And it makes me think maybe he's not actually desperate to represent you. [39:01] Maybe he's desperate to represent Chuck Schumer. [39:04] That's what his voting record shows, ladies and gentlemen. [39:07] Remember when Joe Biden opened the border, [39:09] Sherrod Brown was right there with him. [39:12] Remember when Joe Biden raised your taxes, [39:15] Sherrod Brown was right there with him. [39:17] Remember when Joe Biden shut down American refining, [39:22] Sherrod Brown was right there with him. [39:25] Every single time that Sherrod Brown has had an opportunity [39:29] to fight against the far left and stand up for you, [39:32] he has bent the knee to Chuck Schumer. [39:35] He bent the knee to Joe Biden. [39:36] He bent the knee to the far left activists. [39:39] And ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow, [39:41] you get an opportunity to send a message to Sherrod Brown. [39:44] If you're going to fight for Chuck Schumer instead of me, [39:47] then get the hell out of there. [39:49] We're voting for John Houston. [40:01] The last time he was in power, [40:04] he voted dozens of times for amnesty in sanctuary cities. [40:08] He tried to give your social security [40:10] and your health care to illegal immigrants. [40:14] Compare that to John Houston. [40:16] John Houston who helped us close the border. [40:19] John Houston who helped us kick illegal alien criminals [40:23] out of the United States of America. [40:32] John Houston who backed the blue [40:34] and made our neighborhoods safer. [40:43] I've seen this Sherrod Brown TV commercial where he says, [40:46] why are they talking about transgender all the time? [40:49] And the answer is because it shows who your values are [40:53] and it shows what your priorities are. [40:55] I didn't make Sherrod Brown vote to put boys in girls sports. [40:59] He did that himself. [41:01] I did not make Sherrod Brown support giving your tax dollars [41:06] to gender transition surgeries for illegal aliens. [41:09] Sherrod Brown did that himself. [41:12] So how dare Sherrod stand before the people of Ohio and say, [41:16] how dare you judge me by my record? [41:19] Well, Sherrod, we're judging you by your record [41:21] because your record is atrocious [41:23] and we're elected John Houston to the United States Senate. [41:36] You know, ladies and gentlemen, politics, [41:38] we sometimes in my profession, we make it too complicated. [41:42] I've been in politics for all three years and I've learned a lot. [41:45] But one of the things that I consistently am surprised by is [41:50] that the far left has given itself over to some [41:54] of the craziest people in America. [41:57] Now, I was raised by a union steel worker, [42:02] a man who voted for the Democrat party his entire lifetime. [42:06] And I wonder what my papaw would think [42:09] about the Democrat party today. [42:12] Now, when he was alive and voting, my papaw voted [42:16] for Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Democrat party. [42:19] He voted for JFK's Democrat party. [42:22] He voted, I hate to say it, for a Democrat party [42:25] that no longer exists in Washington, D.C. [42:29] If you want a party that fights for workers, [42:34] if you want a party that supports lower taxes for working people, [42:39] if you want a party that stands up for common sense values, [42:43] I wish that still existed in the Democratic party. [42:46] But, ladies and gentlemen, it does not. [42:49] The only game in town for low taxes, for common sense, [42:52] and for patriotic American values, it's Vivek's party, [42:56] it's John's party, it's the Republican party. [42:59] And don't forget it tomorrow. [43:09] You know, what Vivek and I want for the state of Ohio, [43:13] it's the same thing. [43:15] It's a future for our children. [43:17] Now, I obviously live in Washington, D.C., [43:20] because I'm the vice president. [43:22] But whenever I get a chance, I still go home to Cincinnati [43:25] because I love it, because it feels like home, [43:27] because it will always be my home. [43:30] Ohio will always be where my heart is, [43:33] and I know that's true for you. [43:40] But I remember when I was a kid, even my papaw, [43:44] as much as he loved this state and he loved its opportunities, [43:48] my papaw and everybody else, there was this message. [43:51] And sometimes it was subtle, and sometimes it was more explicit. [43:55] But the idea was that in order to have a future, we were told, [44:00] in my generation, when I was a teenager, the message we were told was, [44:05] you've got to go elsewhere, you've got to go somewhere else. [44:08] And I don't want that for my children. [44:11] How much do we love this state, ladies and gentlemen? [44:14] How much I still, when I was home just last week [44:24] and I was driving around those beautiful rolling hills [44:27] of the Cincinnati area, I felt like home. [44:30] I remember all the times that, you know, [44:33] my little boys caught a crawdad in the little Miami River. [44:36] I remember all the times that we felt like we belong in this place [44:41] with its orange and red trees at this time of year, [44:45] with its beautiful farmland that's more fertile than any farmland [44:49] anywhere in the world, Ohio is our home. [44:53] And the thing about Ohio is, it's not just our home, [44:56] it is a place with boundless natural resources. [45:00] We have enough energy, enough natural gas, [45:04] enough talent in our workforce, and enough fertile farmland [45:08] to feed the world, to power the world, [45:11] and to build a future for our country right here [45:15] in the heart of it all. [45:16] So I hate this idea, I resented this idea when I was a little kid [45:29] that I had to go somewhere else. [45:30] I didn't want to go somewhere else. [45:32] I don't want our grandparents and our parents to think [45:36] that Ohio is no longer the land of opportunity. [45:39] I want them to know that they can raise a family [45:42] and that that family can then raise a family [45:45] because there's enough right here in Ohio [45:48] to make it possible for all of us. [45:58] When my Papaw came to Ohio, it was all about opportunity. [46:03] It was a place where a working class guy could support a family of five, [46:07] take his kids on a nice vacation, buy a nice automobile, [46:11] live in a nice house. [46:13] That was the American dream and it was more alive in Ohio than anywhere. [46:17] That's why my Papaw came here from the hills of eastern Kentucky. [46:21] But the only thing, ladies and gentlemen, [46:24] the only thing that will screw up that great Ohio dream is bad leadership. [46:30] You're not going to screw it up. [46:32] We've got everything from the natural resources [46:35] to the beautiful farmland to build it right here in the state that all of us love. [46:41] But we're not going to be able to build it [46:43] if Sherrod Brown gets in there and floods our country with illegal criminals. [46:47] We're not going to get it if Amy Acton gets in there and destroys the tax [46:52] and the business environment of this state. [46:54] We're not going to get it if we elect politicians who are more interested [47:00] in handing out benefits to people based on skin color [47:04] than they are about building an American dream for everybody, [47:07] whether they're white or black or rich or poor. [47:17] I imagine you think many of the same things that I thought growing up. [47:21] I'm sick of politicians dividing us against each other. [47:24] I'm sick of politicians who say that you're privileged if you have this skin color, [47:29] but you're disadvantaged if you have that skin color. [47:32] I'm sick of politicians who are trying to hand out benefits to fraudsters [47:36] instead of protecting the tax dollars of every American citizen. [47:48] In other words, I'm sick of politicians like Amy Acton and Sherrod Brown, [47:53] and I'm ready for Vivek Ramaswamy and John Huston. [48:06] Sir, let's focus on this election first. [48:09] But here's the thing, ladies and gentlemen, is it's not just about the future. [48:16] It's also about the message that we send. [48:19] There is a desperate desire from the far left to take over the Democratic Party [48:24] and then eventually the country, [48:26] not with people who love the United States and the people who live in it, [48:29] but people who would divide us against one another [48:32] so that they can accumulate more wealth and more power for themselves. [48:37] What will happen tomorrow is Ohio will send a message. [48:41] It will send a message that that brand of politics, that brand of division, [48:46] that brand of hatred is not welcome in the Buckeye State, [48:50] and we send it by voting for Vivek and John. [49:01] There is nothing, there is nothing we cannot do in the state of Ohio. [49:07] There is nothing that we cannot build. [49:09] There is no future too bright so long as we elect the right leadership to protect it. [49:15] Ladies and gentlemen, politics is not complicated. [49:19] We just need to send people who aren't corrupt. [49:22] We need to send people who have good values, [49:24] and we need to send people who know that Ohio's best days are ahead of it [49:29] so long as leadership is leading it in the right direction. [49:43] I love this state, ladies and gentlemen, I love the people in it. [49:47] I think about 20 years ago, 25 years ago, when I went right off of 75 [49:54] to a recruiting station in Fairfield, Ohio, [49:57] and took a bus to join the United States Marine Corps, [50:00] Semper Fi to all the Marines. [50:05] I think about the sense of possibility that I had growing up in the state of Ohio, [50:11] and I want that for every single man, woman, and child in the state of Ohio. [50:16] I want your kids to know that if they work hard and they get a little bit lucky, [50:21] there is no dream too big. [50:23] I want them to know that the son of a union seal worker can still grow up [50:28] to be the Vice President of the United States of Ohio. [50:41] And I know that we can do that, ladies and gentlemen, [50:44] so long as we take what is great about our state and build upon it, [50:49] so long as we take what is amazing about the state of Ohio [50:53] and refuse to let Sherrod Brown and Amy Acton screw it up. [50:58] So I've got just a few simple questions for you, ladies and gentlemen. [51:02] Tomorrow, will you take every person you know, [51:06] so long as they're legally eligible, we're not Democrats, [51:11] will you take every person you know who hasn't yet voted, [51:15] take them to the polls and vote for Vivac and John? [51:25] Are you ready to send a message that the governor's mansion [51:29] belongs to the people, not a crazy left-wing lunatic? [51:38] Are you ready to send a message that this Senate seat belongs [51:42] to the Buckeye State, not to Chuck Schumer? [51:50] Then, ladies and gentlemen, I ask you, vote for Derek Marin, [51:54] vote for Vivek Ramaswamy, vote for John Huston. [51:57] Tomorrow, Ohio, let's get it done. [51:59] God bless you, and thank you for having me.
