"and it was always like this just up more expensive and i called the news conference i was so proud of myself and i said ladies and gentlemen the first time in 28 years drug prices have gone down from january till the end of december and i want to just congratulate everybody for being a part of this"

[0:00] and it was always like this just up more expensive and i called the news conference i was so proud of [0:06] myself and i said ladies and gentlemen the first time in 28 years drug prices have gone down from [0:13] january till the end of december and i want to just congratulate everybody for being a part of [0:21] this wonderful experiment and one-eighth of a point now we're talking about 400 500 600 percent [0:29] coming down we pay the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world from the highest so [0:34] you know and i'll say it again and again because the press doesn't want to report it the fake news [0:38] doesn't want to report it they don't want to talk about it what that does for health care bobby is [0:43] unbelievable because medicine is a big part of health care so i wish that people would understand [0:48] that and i hope they're going to vote for us in the midterms because you'll see some stuff that will be [0:53] horrible because they can blow it very fast if they don't know what they're doing so your drug prices [0:58] are great you know i saw spain uh yesterday and i watched the catastrophe that took place it was [1:05] a it looks like an invasion of a country by hundreds of thousands of people and that same thing is going [1:12] to happen to us if the republicans don't get elected except worse much bigger much easier to get into [1:20] despite the fact that we have built thousands of miles of wall which i said we were going to do [1:26] but we didn't have that forget it but we have the safest border in the world if we're not in office [1:33] our country will be invaded at levels that made spain look small time and when i watched it i said boy [1:42] i said i'm going to say it because i knew you're going to be at camp david and i say that's going to [1:46] be a talking point for the midterms because when you look at what happened to spain they don't know what [1:52] to do and it's happening again today they're coming in by the thousands tens of thousands it's just [1:58] it's just invading the country and what that is is weak law bad management but very liberal law [2:10] they passed a couple of laws and people read you know people are smart they read from other countries [2:15] and they swam that three mile swim or however they got in but nobody's seen anything like it [2:22] that will look good compared to what's going to happen to the united states the biggest thing the [2:26] worst thing that biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country because many of those people [2:31] are criminals they're murderers a lot of murder 11 888 a lot of them are gone now we got them out [2:39] but they allow people to come into this country that you can't allow to come into a country we're also [2:45] making an unprecedented investment in the united states armed forces where we're doing great we rebuilt [2:52] the the armed forces we rebuilt our military in my first term but we are doing great with our [2:57] military they spent a lot of money in our military they gave away 300 billion dollars worth of ammo and [3:05] everything else in the in biden's term but we're building it up fast and we have we're we just have [3:11] a great military that's all there is to it but we rebuilt it in the in my first term and we're using it [3:18] in my second term with venezuela and other places and iran now iran is doing very poorly just in case [3:24] you read incorrect stories they're doing very very poorly they're having a hard time they've been very [3:29] dishonest they've been very dishonorable to deal with but uh that makes no difference they're doing [3:35] very very poorly we're also making that investment and looking forward to getting pete 1.5 trillion [3:43] dollars next year people see now how important it is we want to keep a safe country we have to keep [3:47] a safe country and the good news is all of that equipment is made in the usa so we're making it [3:53] here it's jobs and each one of our defense groups are building literally at least four new massive [4:03] plants as we speak because we want them to do we want them to move faster we have the best equipment in [4:09] the world but we want them to move faster we don't want to wait a year or a year and a half we want [4:13] to wait a week maybe so that's happening and i think the results are very good they're all they're [4:19] building uh at levels that nobody's ever seen before and we've had tremendous success and our [4:26] military was just proud of it again venezuela was a one day war and we have a great relationship with [4:34] venezuela we're working with partners with venezuela now [4:37] taking out tens of millions of barrels of oil and going to houston going to alaska going to louisiana [4:45] going to different places for refinement refineries and it's been very much amazing [4:51] the administration has done more in 18 months than most administrations have done in eight years if you [4:57] add a two-termer we've done more in 18 months than anyone's ever seen before nobody's ever seen [5:03] this is the golden age of america and we have a war that's going on i guess you call it a war maybe [5:09] i call it a military operation because they have no maybe it's been obliterated their air force has been [5:16] obliterated they have no planes their missiles have been largely they have some left they have some but [5:23] they have far fewer than they had four or five months ago uh they uh their manufacturing capacity [5:30] is almost gone the drone capacity is almost gone and very few but they have some they only if they [5:38] have one that's too many as far as i'm concerned but we've done a an amazing job with venezuela we've [5:44] done an amazing job here we're in there five months and i i know people like to say because we've done [5:50] a much bigger job much more important job than we originally anticipated so we're in there for five [5:57] months and if you look at vietnam they were in there for 20 years you look at afghanistan they were [6:03] there for many years you look at any one of the wars korea any one of them they're in there for many [6:07] years we're in for five months and we have obliterated their military capacity again they've got some left [6:14] but soon they won't have some left so i just want to thank everybody around this table you've been very [6:19] special i want to thank a lot of the media people because many of you have been very very fair very [6:24] that's one of the reasons you're here frankly but you've been very fair you've covered me this time [6:30] much more fairly i think than the first term the first term was a great success we had the greatest [6:36] economy in history in the first term and this term is going to blow it away i think this term is going [6:41] to actually blow it away so it's an honor to have you and i'd like to ask our great vice president jd vance [6:48] to say a few words followed by marco and pete and scott and bobby kennedy okay thank you very much [6:56] everybody please well great thanks mr president first of all thanks for having us at this historical [7:01] and beautiful place and uh it's an honor to be on the team an honor to be able to work on fraud which [7:07] is what i want to talk about today though i know we have a lot of things going on this has been an [7:11] amazing team from kelly leffler at sba to doug at the va to todd and bobby kennedy this really has [7:19] required a whole of administration approach to try to tackle fraud there are a few things that i want [7:24] to talk about and celebrate the first is that just since the beginning of the fraud task force that i [7:29] started under the president's leadership and direction we have identified 230 billion dollars [7:36] of fraud that's being perpetrated against the american people and we have halted already 56 [7:41] billion dollars of that it's sometimes hard once the money has already gone out the door it's hard [7:45] to get it back but stopping it from going out the door is how we save the american people 56 billion [7:51] and of course we're going to keep on working on that just today mr president we will announce 17 [7:56] new anti-fraud actions that will total uh about a third of a billion dollars and that that's added to [8:02] the 230 billion dollars that we've already uncovered and i want to just talk for the benefit of the [8:07] american people about why do we care so much about this because what i always try to remind people is [8:12] that fraud has two victims so to give one concrete example there is a program that is administered by [8:20] medicaid and that program ensures that low-income moms and low-income babies have access to neonatal care [8:27] now i think most americans probably share my view this is one of the great things about the united [8:31] states of america that if we see a baby and we see a young mother that requires help we help our [8:37] fellow americans that's a good thing it's something that we should be proud of and yet there is a [8:42] program that has defrauded the moms and the babies who benefit from these you've gotten people who've [8:48] gotten rich by setting up false companies that are providing false services so who loses in that equation [8:54] number one of course is the american taxpayer that is 230 billion dollars poorer because of the fraud [9:00] law that this country has let go on but i actually think most importantly is that we've seen that [9:06] program run out of money so we've seen moms and babies unable to access the health care that they need [9:12] because the fraudsters have gotten rich that is a disgrace and until the president ordered us to stop [9:18] it no one was doing anything about it so we've made a lot of progress mr president in just under a year [9:24] but we're going to keep on working at it because we believe the american people deserve to have their [9:28] money spent as you and the congress have directed it there's big numbers here fine tremendous numbers [9:34] they look like elliot nest does anybody know they look like that group of people you have lined up [9:40] behind you that they're doing a great job yes billions thinking not not millions billions of dollars [9:47] is being recovered billions and you haven't seen anything yet we have things happening that people [9:53] aren't going to believe the level of corruption and fraud that took place under the biden administration [9:58] was unprecedented and minnesota california maine maine believe it or not you know you think of [10:05] maine is this wonderful place yep it's uh the level of corruption is incredible all over all over [10:11] so uh great job thank you very much thanks sir okay so my turn well first of all thank you for [10:17] bringing us out here um i got the chance to drive for the first time in a year and a half which is [10:22] developed [10:30] so just a couple points that uh you we all know we've followed in the news obviously the events [10:35] in the middle east and others you can talk about that not that they're not important but there's [10:38] some other issues happening around the world mr president that you've shown great leadership in [10:41] that have not gotten nearly as much attention i think they deserve a mention today the first is [10:46] the international criminal court is an illegitimate international organization that frankly [10:50] illegitimate they've made themselves illegitimate because they claim that even if you're not a [10:54] member of that court they can come after you what that literally means in the future is that american [10:58] servicemen political leaders and others could find themselves under the under indictment by this [11:04] international criminal court did you want to know a little bit about it jack smith used to work there [11:08] these are the people that think they can go out and basically indict any world leader and haul them [11:12] into the hague so we've begun we tried to get them to reform and listen to us they wouldn't do it they're [11:16] very arrogant we've now begun an effort to really try to bring that court to heel where there's no [11:22] information that they're after me it could happen just so you know he's not trying to defend me he's [11:32] trying to defend bb and various other people but there are many people that shouldn't be looked at [11:38] that way but there is no indication that uh i'm one of them at this moment well and i actually think [11:46] the people who are in biggest danger in our system are servicemen people in uniform they'll try to go out [11:50] for the rest of their lives will not be able to travel anywhere in the world with their families [11:53] because they could be arrested on one of these like imagine you're a soldier you fought in a [11:57] war and 20 years later they try to come grab you so this is a big problem so we've had dozens of [12:02] countries already join us in separate since we started two weeks ago five countries have already [12:06] quit the icc and notified them that they're leaving and we think there'll be more the second thing is [12:11] we had an unprecedented ministerial 60 countries came to washington and were part of an effort we were [12:16] shedding light on far left terrorism and violence you know if a bomb goes off somewhere and it's [12:21] tied to some right-wing group or what i got you know i don't consider neo-nazis right we don't [12:25] consider them nazis right but you're going to get a lot of attention on that but if it's a leftist [12:30] group an antifa group that gets no cover or they ignore the ideological spin and the ideological [12:35] reason behind it so we've got 60 countries came up here and hopefully creating a strong coalition to go [12:40] after far left violent terrorism go after it and call it by name and i think we're building a very [12:46] strong coalition there we've had some success in the middle east mr president as you know in the [12:51] diplomatic front the deal with lebanon and israel is unprecedented president ayun was here a week ago [12:57] i think that was the first visit by a lebanese president in over 30 some odd years in fact this [13:01] is the first time the israelis and the lebanese government have spoken at the official level close [13:05] to 30 years and that was thanks to your leadership a lot of work to be done to keep that peace and build on it [13:10] but it's a real achievable and of course as you announced last night mr president this disarmament [13:15] deal that you brought about with steve and jared's work on on hamas is another big step as well it's [13:21] something a lot of people thought would never happen it needs to happen but the fact they've even agreed [13:24] to it is a real achievable last point is on the western hemisphere for the first time in 15 20 years [13:31] the overwhelming majority of the countries in the western hemisphere are now led by pro-american [13:36] leaders and pro-american governments it's an extraordinary achievement all of it [13:40] happening through this virtually every election that's happened in the western hemisphere since [13:44] you were elected president has elected someone who is pro-american and i think this is an incredible [13:50] situation and last but not least and i have to thank a number of agencies here particularly the [13:54] department of war after that terrible earthquake in venezuela within 36 hours the full force of the [14:01] american government was on the ground providing humanitarian assistance it was a sight to behold [14:06] the uss ward i think was in their port our marines and and armed service personnel were helping run [14:12] their airport in their tower it is one of the fastest most dramatic the most effective humanitarian [14:17] responses certainly in recent history if not ever and they came at the direction of the president in [14:23] fact within an hour of that earthquake hitting i remember because i was overseas the president called [14:28] and said make sure we go in there and help these people recover from this and and we did and thanks [14:32] see your leadership mr president it's a great story enough needs to be told about it because the [14:37] credit goes to so many agencies represented here today but really the department of wars effort was [14:42] phenomenal so thank you thank you very much just before we uh continue i want to just congratulate [14:49] jay clayton he's with us today as you know he's had a big victory he's going to be he's going to do [14:54] a fantastic job he's only done his whole life has been about doing a fantastic job congratulations thank you mr [15:09] president for the for the invitation the opportunity to be here uh it's an honor for the war department [15:14] to to help run this facility also from the from the food to the fence line uh it's it's an honor to have [15:19] you and it's it's great americans here and all around the country and all around the world who are the [15:25] core of what uh keep us safe but in order to do that you have to have a leader that's willing to put [15:31] them in a position to do it and that's my takeaway mr president is um sort of three points one it takes [15:38] courage two it takes restoring a spirit which you have done and third it takes investment and not [15:44] just an investment but a generational investment and i think people miss that the courage it takes [15:48] to seal the border to say we're going to do it and we're going to do it every single day and we're [15:52] going to do it on behalf of the american people the courage to bomb the houthis and say we will we [15:57] will maintain freedom of navigation i wonder why they're not involved in this conflict the houthis even [16:02] though they're a proxy of iran because they felt the weight of american power for 45 days and you had the [16:07] courage to do that courage to to do midnight hammer and conclude the 12-day war by obliterating their [16:12] nuclear sites something no one other presidents had the option on their table to do but they never [16:17] pulled the trigger because of the complications because of the challenge and because of the risk [16:22] courage the courage to take on cartels and drugs drug boats and now forming the a triple c the america's [16:28] counter cartel coalition with all those friendly governments that marco talked about who want to [16:33] be shoulder to shoulder not just with america but with a bold strong america with clear leadership [16:40] the courage to go uh get maduro in the most dangerous most heavily guarded house inside the [16:45] most heavily guarded fort inside the most heavily guarded town in their capital city in the middle of [16:49] the night and change the entire dynamic of that country and that region and the world saw what the [16:55] american military was capable to do but that doesn't happen unless commander-in-chief says you're [17:00] authorized to do it and will take the handcuffs off when you do it to ensure that americans come home [17:06] the courage to undertake epic fury uh and and this iranian regime and ensure they never have a nuclear [17:12] weapon which remains your commitment and frankly the courage to negotiate with people that have shown [17:17] no willingness to do so honestly with incredible negotiators who are the best in the world and give [17:22] them every opportunity to do it uh give those things up peacefully all of that takes guts but that comes [17:28] on the backs of the change in the spirit of our department you talk about spirit all the time and [17:32] and your right to do so when you rip out dei when you rip out social engineering and social justice and [17:39] you put in merit and then you untie the hands of commanders to be commanders to enforce discipline [17:45] and accountability to get back to basics then you get historic re-enlistment inside our ranks our best [17:51] people mr president are staying because they want to be in that kind of department and then historic [17:55] recruitment record amongst young americans every month our department breaks records and when did [18:02] that trend line start on election day 2024 when the american people said i want to serve under this [18:08] president and that that new name the department of war has become the ethos the warrior ethos of our [18:13] department again spirit and i will note uh the flyovers will indeed continue until morale [18:19] but that's also spirit grades 250 flyovers the american people seeing and feeling their military [18:28] in ways they have not in the past that spirit and then finally mr president a generational investment [18:33] you rebuilt the military in your first term and you've spent in your first year one trillion and now [18:38] we are committed in working with congress to get 1.5 trillion but this is not the same way we funded our [18:44] department in the past this is a businessman in charge this is a deputy secretary of our department [18:49] who's a turnaround guy uh just like the president is saying we will not fund money we will not fund [18:55] the apartment the way we have in the past in fact so far 75 billion dollars in private investment from [19:02] defense companies who are now investing in new plants new equipment new assembly lines to build the [19:07] munitions of the future faster than ever possible that's saving taxpayer dollars because the companies [19:13] themselves are investing that would never the arsenal of freedom would never happen without you [19:17] uh so just like you know we use a lot of the things ronald reagan's build up was a part of [19:23] in this administration and in future administrations they will look back at donald trump and the [19:27] build up that he has done and that will be the deterrence of the future will be established because [19:32] of your investment so thank you mr president for your thank you scott please mr president it's an honor to [19:39] be here in this historic place as we celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary and i think if we look [19:46] back the whether our founders with president washington thomas jefferson uh alexander hamilton could not [19:53] have imagined the economy that we would have created it is the envy of the world and as you said we have [20:01] record investment coming in we've never seen anything like it and we're pulling away from the rest of the [20:06] world that because of your leadership the policies that you did from day one in terms of digital assets [20:13] in terms of technology and bringing back the american manufacturing you know it's you you've done it [20:20] again you had the incredible economy during your first term and we are seeing that carry over here and [20:28] it is in stark contrast to the biden economy which was government jobs government spending and high [20:36] inflation the worst inflation in 50 years and the with the working families tax cuts which i will add [20:44] every democrat voted against every democrat voted against the it is the perfect barbell for this economy [20:52] on one side you have full expensing for factories for equipment for farm structures on the other side [21:01] your four signature policies promises made promises kept no tax and tips no tax and overtime no tax and [21:08] social security deductibility of auto loans if you buy an american-made car and the americans are [21:16] started starting to feel core inflation is low consumer confidence is strong we have the highest consumer [21:23] confidence came up today the in five months and uh main street is back small small banks are went [21:32] thanks to your policy small banks community banks are winning again and uh the americans are starting [21:39] to feel it as you said these trump accounts are the most successful program launch in government history [21:46] we've had seven million families sign up for them we're going to get to open enrollment and we will have [21:52] 70 million families who have signed up for this 38 percent of american families households have no exposure to [22:00] our great equity market and thanks to you we're going to have an ownership society an ownership society you [22:06] were one of the first presidents to create assets for the american people not more debt we had the biggest [22:13] tax refund season ever trade deals tax cuts energy dominance and direct regulatory efforts america is [22:23] ushering in the greatest reshoring wave in our history in june our manufacturing sector expanded for [22:29] the sixth straight month we've got construction jobs and those are going to weave into manufacturing jobs [22:36] we've got main street prosperity real wages are up a thousand dollars and sir what you've done again too [22:43] is the bottom 25 percent of wage earners just like in your first term are outperforming the top 25 [22:51] this is a working families administration that last in the past year [22:57] that group had had real wage or had wage increases 5.5 percent they have three times the what the top end [23:08] has done so you've done it again and these are private sector jobs we are creating as you often say [23:16] in these meetings we could have created a million two million government jobs but we didn't the private [23:22] sector is creating we've got incentives we've got money coming in and we are rebuilding [23:27] so and then our energy dominance thanks to you and these policies you can come to the u.s you're going [23:33] to have regulatory certainty tax certainty and energy certainty so it is the best place in the world to [23:38] build your factory and finally i want to add it has been a pleasure to be a part or a privilege to be a [23:45] part of as we've gone from epic fury to economic fury to constrict on your orders constrict the iranian [23:52] regimes the financial tentacles all around the world we started it and on your orders we started in march [24:00] 2025 in december of 2025 the largest bank in iran collapsed the central bank had to print money [24:08] caused inflation now they got 180 percent inflation they aren't able to pay their troops and on your [24:13] orders we are searching for their assets all around the world and that money will go to the iranian [24:19] people americans who have been harmed by the iranians whether the uss cold they are the barracks in [24:26] lebanon they or it will go back to when the iranians attacked these ships coming out so it's been a [24:35] privilege to be part of that and i look forward to the rest of them thank you very much and i want to [24:41] just add that today there are more people working in the united states than at any time in the history of [24:47] our country we have more people working today and we think of that number i mean more people working [24:53] today by far than at any time in the history of our country so it's been something very very special [24:59] uh bobby please thank you mr president let me just take a moment to take note of the historical [25:07] significance of this occasion before the press came in you asked all the cabinet members who had been to [25:14] camp david before i think about three quarters of matt i raised my hand but i haven't been here for 62 [25:20] years i came here i came here on weekends as many weekends we could between 1961 and 1963. my father [25:31] loved this place my uncle loved this place he was nobody knows about this because on the history books but [25:37] he was resentful at dwight eisenhower for renaming it camp david and he if he had got made it to his [25:45] second term he was going to rename it chamberlain which was the original name that roosevelt had [25:52] and named it my uncle prided himself on being the most open transparent administration in history he was [25:58] the first president that televised press conferences during his thousand days in office he had about 30 press [26:05] conferences you mr president have press conferences every day nobody's done and here you've opened the [26:15] inner sanctum of the presidency to the first stop in history and i think that's a beautiful thing [26:20] because you also face although you gave these guys a lot of compliments the most hostile press corps [26:27] than any president in united states history i was trying uniformly so anyway um i'm i'm going to talk [26:36] just briefly about a subject you alluded to which is the mfn and just so everybody has the background [26:45] when you were here to every president promised to fix that disparity between what we pay [26:51] and what the other developed countries have paid when you came into office the list price for [26:55] osempic was thirteen hundred and fifty dollars for americans you could get an at any pharmacy in [27:01] london hamburg frankfurt for eighty eight dollars and this every president president bush president biden [27:09] president linton president obama have all promised fixes none of them did anything you fixed it [27:15] i said hey time you leave office assuming that's in 2028 um 95 of the drugs that are available to americans [27:34] they will be paying the lowest prices in the world trump rx just in the short time that we since we put it [27:41] out has saved americans 700 million dollars we now have 800 drugs on there we have deals with amazon and with [27:49] good rx we're adding more and more drugs every day and i'll just give you one example preluent [27:56] is a very popular cholesterol drug its list price is 520 dollars that's what everybody is paying [28:04] we now have it on trump rx for 237 dollars that means that the 300 000 americans who take that drug [28:12] will be saving 3700 a year on pharmaceuticals every year and you can apply that across the board this is [28:24] going to change it's making pharmaceuticals affordable the most affordable in this country of any country [28:30] in the world well thank you mr president how are you doing on the autism research we will have an answer for [28:38] you we just got so important okay we'll be talking about that we'll be having something of interest [28:45] such an important thing there's a picture of your uncle right there on the wall i know he's looking [28:49] a handsome guy that's quite a picture did you see it yeah maybe that gave you the idea to start out [28:57] that way but it's it's quite a picture uh any questions mr president mr president we've seen these [29:03] strikes between iran and united states for the past 10 days how do you go about reviving the ceasefire [29:09] and and getting diplomacy back on track well i think we just want to win you know we just want [29:13] to win we're doing very well uh we're trying to be nice as nice as you can be in you know a situation [29:19] like that but and you know they're they're being decimated they have no navy they have no air force [29:25] they have no anti-aircraft doesn't mean they don't have any capability they have some but very little [29:33] we just want to win we don't want to have them it's very simple uh they could not have a nuclear weapon [29:40] iran will not have a nuclear weapon and they can't have a nuclear weapon if they did the middle east [29:45] would have been wiped out by now if i didn't stop the jcpoa the obama deal if i didn't terminate that [29:53] they would have had a nuclear weapon i believe israel would no longer be with us in big parts of the [29:58] middle east and perhaps other countries in different continents frankly because these people are crazy [30:04] uh so they cannot have a nuclear weapon and they won't mr president [30:09] i expect over the next four weeks eight weeks you know we'll be hitting we'll be hitting them very [30:14] hard and you know at some point they're going to say we just can't take it anymore mr president on the [30:19] disarmament meal deal that you announced do you have assurances from israel that they are on board [30:24] with this deal and what comes first does israel pull back and then hamas disarms or does hamas [30:30] need to disarm and then israel so we do have an understanding with israel israel is very happy [30:34] about israel helped us and they've been very good they've been very good about most people said that [30:40] would be a deal that would be undoable now will it go through its ups and downs it's a very complex [30:47] situation over there the people are very complex and difficult uh many cases wonderful in many cases [30:54] not so wonderful but that will be a uh it's a great breakthrough nobody's ever thought that would [30:59] nobody thought that would be possible to disarm hamas that shows you how much uh success we're [31:07] having with the rent because if you go four months ago five months ago a deal like that would have [31:11] been impossible so it's a big step for the middle east and people are really impressed by it and [31:16] they're surprised by it and what comes first mr president what comes first mr infantino speak to you [31:21] about their proposal to sell a stake in the world cup and is that something you support having just [31:25] about who uh did fifo or mr infantino speak to you about their proposal to sell a stake in the [31:31] mr president um on the you said this morning on true social that victims of government abuse should [31:36] be paid back yeah even if it's not the anti-weaponization fund would you still want the acting [31:42] attorney general i'm talking about the weaponization against large numbers of people in our country by the [31:49] biden administration and by obama but by the biden administration in particular in this case but [31:55] large numbers of people their lives have been ruined they've been destroyed their families have been [32:01] you know decimated they've gone to prison for no reason whatsoever there's never been a group of [32:07] people most likely i mean i can think of a couple that were treated pretty badly groups but there's [32:12] essentially never been a group of people treated so badly as these people and this fund this fund was not [32:18] for me this fund was for those people that have been weaponized that have been abused now i was [32:24] abused they attacked my house mar-a-lago where i live and i was you know big damages should have been [32:30] given to me i don't want anything i i'm not talking about myself i think that there's a group of people [32:36] in this country uh history will show that were treated like nobody else has ever been treated so badly so [32:46] horribly their families have been ruined many many suicides they've committed suicide people that [32:52] were very successful that wanted to go to a rally or an event and ended up spending the rest of their [33:00] lives in horror no so i mean you can say what you want about the fund and uh they've they've agreed to [33:08] not have a fund but there are a lot of people that are very upset about it a lot of republican people a [33:13] lot of democrat people are very upset about it a lot of people were covered i wasn't covered by that [33:17] fund i don't want to be covered by the fund i probably was abused more than anybody in the history [33:22] of our country but i i wasn't looking for that but there were a lot of people and i'll tell you [33:26] something todd todd blanche is a very very good man and he shouldn't be in the middle of this he should [33:32] get approved because you will never get anybody like him you're never going to get anybody and to make [33:38] him a pawn on this whole thing this is being done by a senator and i don't really blame him to be [33:43] honest with you i endorsed his opponent and as soon as i endorsed his opponent his opponent went through [33:48] the roof and he won the primary election in texas for the senate and the man that lost the man that i [33:56] didn't endorse has become very angry and that's okay i mean i understand that i probably would do the [34:02] same thing one another i think i do the same thing on that though do you agree just to be clear do you [34:07] agree with the acting attorney general that the anti-weaponization fund is dead and why not just [34:12] put that well it is dead but you know i wish it weren't to be honest with you i think people were [34:18] horribly treated horribly abused this has nothing to do with todd this was me uh horribly abused and i'd [34:24] like to see them compensated for the the pain they lost their families they committed suicide many [34:31] people committed suicide they went down for an innocent journey and i'm not only talking there i'm talking [34:37] about not even having to do with that the way they were treated the biden administration and the [34:43] obama administration weaponized government and destroyed lives are you willing to accept limits on [34:51] the scope of the audit immunity deal in order to get attorney general blanche confirmed well no he should [34:56] be approved forthwith i mean you're never going to get a person like that everybody agrees to it don't [35:02] forget uh senator corner thought he was phenomenal until he lost you know when he lost is that a [35:09] correct statement you come from texas i mean he thought this was the most incredible person then when [35:13] he lost then he lost because of me i endorsed somebody else and as soon as i endorsed the other [35:18] person the other person became a rocket ship upward and he lost and you know i think i'd be the same [35:26] but i mean i shouldn't say that but i'd be upset also and i so i fully understand it he shouldn't [35:34] be that way i shouldn't be that way but he is that way he's become a very angry person and i understand [35:40] you have a couple of others that i've caused their defeat too and you know probably hear from them too [35:45] yeah mr president back on iran there's a report that you got a proposal from the military to go big [35:50] and hit them hard over 10 or 14 days well we're going big are you going to consider we've already gone [35:54] big look i mean what's big they had 159 ships that was their entire navy 159 their entire navy is [36:02] laying at the bottom of the sea i'd say that's going big uh they had 200 airplanes are all gone [36:08] every one of them they're not one airplane they had anti-aircraft weaponry very good but it didn't work [36:13] and uh it's all gone their radar is all gone their leaders are all gone everything's all gone [36:20] but they'll fight onward mr president on ukraine you said the other day that you're not [36:24] sure about whether to grant ukraine the patriot missile license that had been discussed do you [36:30] want to see more from zielinski before you take that action well it's a big step look we have the [36:36] greatest weapons in the world we have the greatest drones in the world people don't know that we have [36:40] the greatest weaponry in the world we have in the case of uh president zielinski he'd like to have [36:46] some patriots he'd like to have some tomahawks which is you know lethal one offensive one defensive [36:52] but when you give somebody the right very complex weapons by the way i mean the patriot as an example [36:58] the other day you read that five missiles were shot they were going 8 600 miles an hour think of it [37:06] 8 600 now a car if you go 60 it gets to be a little faster if you go 100 8 600 miles an hour and they [37:15] were big missiles and they were shot at jordan and our guys were there bing bing bing bing bing [37:23] five big bing bing bing bing bing bing right i don't want to be binding that would have been a great [37:32] sound right there were five missiles and we shot all five dead before they got close nobody else has that [37:39] capacity these weapons are incredible we have to be very careful about letting somebody build them you [37:47] know it's very uh important now we are building many plants now to make those and other the tomahawk [37:53] missile is the most incredible thing it can go into a doorway you can put it through a window of a house [38:00] nobody's ever seen anything like it you have to be very judicious but you have to be very careful [38:06] now we have not agreed to that we're talking about it but it's a hard thing to give away that [38:12] kind of technology um and i don't think this would ever happen but you know those people that you [38:18] give that technology they can someday turn on you you know that is possible you look at war [38:23] it's happened a couple of times over the years right so we have to be very careful i mean we we [38:28] guard that we have the greatest military in the world but we have the greatest weapons in the world [38:33] now we have to make them a little bit faster because we've given a lot away you know uh president [38:38] biden unfortunately gave a lot of way to ukraine and he gave and so did i i mean i gave them the [38:46] javelins and the tank busters without the javelins that that war would have been a one day war would [38:51] have been over they wiped out the tanks going up to kiev when they got stuck in the mud they had a [38:56] general that decided to go through the mud instead of going up the highway where they were going very [39:01] nicely it would have been over but uh no i gave them the javelins the javelins are unbelievably we have [39:06] the greatest weapons in the world we have to be very careful about giving out the secrets to those [39:12] weapons and they're not you you can't copy them it's a little like uh nvidia they have a chip they [39:21] say you cannot copy it the complexity is so great you cannot you know most things you copy china's known [39:27] for it other countries that we do something and i guess we copy also most things you can copy pretty [39:33] easily there's a chip that they made their ultimate chip and they always have the ultimate chip and i [39:40] say well why doesn't somebody copy it because they can't the complexity they can't copy our weapons we [39:46] have the greatest weapons in the world many of them those are just two or three that i mentioned but [39:52] you cannot copy them so we have to be very careful as as hamas disarms as part of this plan who do you [39:58] see is taking possession of those weapons that they had does that go to the new government does it be [40:03] uh the board of peace mostly it's going to be run by the border this board of peace has been [40:07] an amazing it's led by some amazing people board of peace you said they do have some capabilities [40:14] left should americans be prepared for these back and forth attacks to continue until the ron [40:18] somebody's able to strike them back they'll get weaker they'll get a little stronger maybe [40:22] now but they'll get weaker and then they peter up uh yeah sure i think so i mean it'd be foolish to [40:29] say no you always have to keep your guard up what is the status of talks who who went from the [40:34] administration well they always want to talk but they break their words so often steve [40:38] is talking jared we have very good people uh jd's involved very strongly involved uh we have great [40:44] people talking marco's involved because they say talks aren't happening very good people we're the best [40:49] people but they'll make a deal as an example we'll talk about nuclear and we'll be in there talking about [40:56] nuclear for seven hours i say why is it why do you need seven you can take ten minutes you have [41:00] five minutes you should solve but seven hours and then they'll go out and i'll say they discuss [41:07] nuclear and they'll go out and they'll say we never discussed nuclear and i say why what do they [41:12] say all they do is make me angry you know you just make me angry any other questions do you believe [41:18] that you can reach a deal with iran given that you talked about yes you can i mean look um i'm losing [41:25] faith in them because they do lie and do they do misrepresent well the other day the five missiles [41:32] were shot we knocked them down but we were in the midst of a negotiation i mean i'm waiting for steve [41:36] to call me how's the negotiation going and instead i got a call from pete that they just shot five [41:44] missiles at one of our bases in jordan and we have bases in jordan fortunately our people operated the [41:50] equipment it's also very complex to operate you know you're talking about the equipment it's a very you [41:55] you have to be oftentimes you see when did you go to school mit caltech i mean you know they go to [42:02] schools that are not as normal for the military to be honest with you we have unbelievably brilliant [42:07] people operating that equipment and when you don't you know the equipment uh the shots miss the safety [42:14] misses or the accuracy misses we have unbelievable people think of it we had 111 at one point a couple [42:22] of months ago 111 over a short period of time missiles were shot at the abraham lincoln aircraft [42:29] carrier great beautiful ship one of the most beautiful ships to me design was 111 missiles going [42:36] out out of the 111 missiles 111 missiles were shot down quite a bit earlier than they got i mean long [42:46] before they got there they were shot down it was almost in a couple of cases they were shot down almost [42:51] as they were taking off it's incredible technology so you have a ship that cost billions of dollars [42:58] and you have missiles heading to it 111 missiles were shot down routinely shut down and i speak i [43:09] spoke to the people i like to reward people call them up on the president and uh they were cool as a [43:15] cucumber mr president the last two weeks of strikes uh by centcom centcom has said that those were meant to [43:22] degrade or rand's ability to disrupt the strait of hormones how many more strikes will it take to [43:26] significantly well you never know look i mean most people would have given up by them you know they've [43:30] got no navy they got no air force most people would have given up they haven't so i give them [43:35] credit for that i mean they're known as big tough they're tough back on back on ukraine what did you [43:40] tell president zielinski about the patriots did you explain all that to him you're concerned i spoke to [43:44] about patriots i spoke to him about tomahawks spoke to about everything i also spoke to him about let's [43:49] get this war over with so last month they had 25 000 people it's averaging about 25 000 people a month [43:55] die mostly soldiers almost entirely but you know missiles are hitting areas also but mostly soldiers [44:03] there are 25 000 soldiers the month before that it was 32 000 soldiers i said you got to get this [44:09] war over with i think he wants to make a deal and i think putin wants to make a deal but there's a lot of [44:14] dislike as you probably notice he seems very reluctant to make concessions president putin well [44:20] nobody wants to make concessions but they're both going to have to make some concessions i mean [44:25] you got to make a deal 25 000 young beautiful people soldiers mostly soldiers are dying a month [44:34] it's uh i ended eight wars that was the war i thought would maybe go first and it really hasn't [44:41] it's going to have some and they ended wars that were in theory much more difficult to end we had [44:46] a couple that were into the 30-year category well the congo look at the congo in rwanda that was our [44:54] nasty war it's a it's an amazing group in america is safer and stronger and far more successful than it [45:01] was two years ago and i think frankly that it ever was i don't think it's ever been anything like this [45:08] and we're building more factories and plants in this country than we've ever built before [45:14] and we're going to be at some point we'll be leaving this position and we're going to [45:19] leave this country in very very good shape better shape than it's ever been when we took office we [45:25] inherited a total catastrophe the last administration created the worst inflation in 48 years the most [45:32] dangerous and insecure border in history and exploding trade deficits like we have never seen before [45:39] rampant crime men and women's sports transgender mutilization of your children and chaos and bedlam [45:47] all over the world other than that they did quite a good job in less than 18 months we've turned around [45:54] four years of disaster and we now have the strongest border in american history we went from the worst [45:59] border i believe of any country in history 25 million people came through in four years and these are [46:05] people that in many cases you don't want there were murderers there were drug dealers there were people [46:10] that you do not want but now we have the strongest border in american history and for the last 15 months [46:17] the report just came out again we've had no people coming in through our southern border zero and it's [46:24] almost hard to say because you'd say is that even possible they had 25 million people came in we have no [46:29] people coming in through illegally through our southern border and that's in history so think of that zero [46:35] a big beautiful zero the murder rate so its single largest drop ever recorded to the lowest in 125 years [46:43] that goes back to think of it it goes back to 1900 the lowest murder rate in the history of our country so [46:51] that's something uh today i just want to mention that we heard in minnesota there was a cyber attack [46:59] and they blame it on iran i don't think so i think i blame it on minnesota because they're grossly [47:03] incompetent there was a cyber attack of 30 water plants and i would blame it on minnesota and the [47:11] governor the corrupt governor of minnesota they like to say oh it was iran iran should be so lucky [47:16] iran's got bigger problems than worrying about minnesota this month it was announced that [47:21] inflation is dropping at the fastest rate in more than six years walmart sam's club giant eagle and [47:28] others are slashing prices by by hundreds of grocery stores and all of the stores i mean throughout the [47:35] country they're slashing prices something that you haven't seen for a long time since my last [47:40] administration the stock market has set 73 all-time record highs since the election that means all-time [47:48] record highs 73 days out of a very short period of time and the typical 401k is up by more than thirty [47:56] thousand dollars and when you think of that if you add another one thousand dollars to it it will be we [48:05] set the record in the last administration a record still standing this administration is going to blow my [48:11] last administration away when the factories that we're building at record that we're not building [48:18] all over the world they're building they're coming from all over the world they're coming [48:22] from germany with the cars they're coming from germany they're coming from japan south korea canada mexico [48:29] from all over the world they're building auto plants here because otherwise they have to pay [48:32] tariffs the tariffs have made our country rich and successful and all of this i mean i'd like to [48:39] say it was the election on november 5th it was the election and that's fine but without the election [48:45] you wouldn't have what i've done economically so we have the most successful environment that we've [48:51] ever had there's never been anything like it from the standpoint of investment into our country it's [48:57] five to six times higher than anybody has ever seen than any other country any other country not just us [49:03] has ever had on july 4th we launched trump accounts to keep a vision of our great big beautiful bill [49:10] and these tax-free investment savings accounts have already been activated by over seven million [49:15] children these are investments made in our future which is our children our children are the most [49:21] important aspect of our future with more being added each day so it's a tremendous hit over seven [49:28] million and really really just got going i would say scott about two weeks ago when it was uh we [49:34] got the final approvals and we have over seven million actually there's never been anything quite like [49:40] that but millions of accounts are pre-funded with a thousand dollars from the u.s treasury or generous [49:46] gifts from private donors like michael and susan dell and others who have given billions of dollars [49:52] billions people are putting up hundreds of millions and billions of dollars [49:56] into it and buying really a great future for children when they turn 18 or when they [50:02] turn 21 instead of having no hope no future they will end up with hundreds of thousands of dollars [50:08] and maybe even more than that so it's going to be something to save with modest additional contributions [50:14] they'll grow by numbers that should be it could be over two hundred thousand dollars we're looking at [50:20] uh the timeline we're looking i wish we had an economy like we have now with the stock markets going up but [50:26] they will benefit by our country being successful and we're going to give every child a head start on [50:32] the american dream so go to trump accounts.gov they're really something the whole world's talking about [50:38] it and it's far ahead of schedule nobody thought it would be as successful as it's been but it should be [50:45] it should be and we start them off with a thousand dollars and this was part of the great big beautiful [50:49] bill with my most favored nation policy you could say this is even a bigger thing if that's possible [50:56] on drug prices we're achieving record discounts on prescription drugs the prescription drugs were [51:02] going through the roof for many years and now we're getting record discounts with price differences of [51:08] 300 400 500 600 percent nobody's ever heard of a thing like that and what this is all about [51:18] is that we were the highest we had the highest prices anywhere in the world by far most expensive drugs [51:24] prescription drugs and and others the highest in the world the whole world was laughing at us we paid [51:30] for the rest of the world we subsidized the whole world and i said we're not going to do that [51:34] that and i started it in the first administration i took it up uh obviously biden wasn't able to do [51:41] anything about it because you had to get the consent of the drug companies and you had to get the consent [51:46] more difficult would be the consent of other nations the other nations had to agree but they were paying [51:52] a fraction sometimes ten percent twenty percent and forty percent seventy percent less so i had to call [51:59] them and i had to get them on and i said if you don't do it we're gonna have to charge your tariffs [52:04] and they all said no at first very politely said sir we can't do that we're not going to [52:09] double our prices they had to double their prices and in some case triple their price and we would [52:14] come down so a pill that sold for ten dollars in germany would sell for 130 dollars in new york same pill [52:24] from the same company the same factory the same plant same laboratory from ten dollars and we pay 130 [52:31] dollars i say no no now the world is a bigger place so it's not as bad as it sounds for them [52:37] so they went up to 20 and we came down to 20. so we now have the lowest drug prices anywhere in the [52:43] world we're tied with the laws but we're basically its favorite nation so we have the lowest drug prices [52:49] anywhere in the world from the highest drug prices anywhere in the world now what that does for your [52:54] health care i mean i see these fake polls where the democrats have wonderful numbers on this stuff and [53:01] they are horrible what they've done obamacare is a total disaster it's a costly wreck it's unaffordable [53:07] we call it the unaffordable care act it's a disgrace they never even thought of being able to do [53:13] something like this they didn't even try they didn't even try so i got the drug companies first and then i [53:19] got the countries and the drug companies agreed because they knew the countries wouldn't agree [53:25] and when i called germany france when i called the uk when i called all of these countries i said [53:32] you got to do it it's unfair we're paying 10 times more than you're paying for the same drug you can't [53:37] do this and they said well we're not going to do that because we're going to have to double our price [53:41] today in order to make you happy i said no maybe you're going to have to triple your price [53:45] they said well we can't do it i said that's all right if you can't do it then i can't do something also [53:50] and i'm going to charge you very substantial tariffs which are far more than we're talking about [53:56] and they all said we'd love to do it we'd love to do it it'll be our great honor to do it so nobody [54:01] else would do this this would have never happened so your drug prices have gone down my numbers not [54:06] even thinkable my first term i had the privilege of having lower drug prices from the beginning of [54:11] the year till the end for the first time in 28 years you remember and i called the news conference [54:17] to announce it so the year it ended and i was turned out one eighth of a percent one eighth of [54:25] a percent little tiny this much it went down that much during one year first time in 28 years it went [54:31] down it was always like this just up more expensive and i called the news conference i was so proud of [54:38] myself and i said ladies and gentlemen the first time in 28 years drug prices have gone down from [54:45] january till the end of december and i want to just congratulate everybody for being a part of [54:53] this wonderful experiment and one-eighth of a point now we're talking about 400 500 600 percent coming [55:01] down we pay the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world from the highest so uh you know and i'll say [55:07] it again and again because the press doesn't want to report it the fake news doesn't want to report it [55:11] they don't want to talk about it what that does for health care bobby is unbelievable because medicine's a big [55:16] part of health care so i wish that uh people would understand that and i hope they're going to vote [55:22] for us in the midterms because you'll see some stuff that will be horrible because they can blow it very [55:27] fast if they don't know what they're doing so your drug prices are great you know i saw spain uh yesterday [55:34] and i watched the catastrophe that took place it was a it looks like an invasion of a country by [55:41] hundreds of thousands of people and that same thing's going to happen to us if the republicans don't get [55:46] elected except worse much bigger much easier to get into despite the fact that we have built [55:54] thousands of miles of wall which i said we were going to do but we didn't have that forget it [56:01] but we have the safest border in the world if we're not in office our country will be invaded [56:07] at levels that made spain look small time and when i watched it i said boy i said i'm going to say it [56:15] because i knew you're going to be at camp david and i say that's going to be a talking point for the [56:20] midterms because when you look at what happened to spain they don't know what to do and it's [56:25] happening again today they're coming in by the thousands tens of thousands it just is just invading [56:31] the country and what that is is weak law bad management but very liberal law they passed a couple of [56:43] laws and people read you know people are smart they read from other countries and they swam that [56:49] three-mile swim or however they got in but nobody's seen anything like it that will look good compared [56:55] to what's going to happen to the united states the biggest thing the worst thing that biden did is [57:00] allowing 25 million people into our country because many of those people are criminals they're murderers a [57:06] lot of 11 888 a lot of them are gone now we got them out but they allow people to come into this [57:13] country that you can't allow to come into a country we're also making an unprecedented investment in [57:19] the united states armed forces where we're doing great we rebuilt the armed forces we rebuilt our [57:26] military by first term but we are doing great with our military they spent a lot of money in our military [57:32] they gave away 300 billion dollars worth of ammo and everything else in the in biden's term but we're [57:40] building it up fast and we have we're we just have a great military and that's all there is to it [57:45] but we rebuilt it in the in my first term and we're using it in my second term with venezuela and other [57:52] places and iran now iran is doing very poorly just in case you read incorrect stories they're doing very very [57:59] poorly they're having a hard time they've been very dishonest they've been very dishonorable to deal [58:04] with but that makes no difference they're doing very very poorly we're also making that investment [58:11] and looking forward to getting pete 1.5 trillion dollars next year people see now how important it [58:17] is we want to keep a safe country we have to keep a safe country and the good news is all of that [58:22] equipment is made in the usa so we're making it here it's jobs and each one of our defense groups [58:30] are building literally at least four new massive plants as we speak because we want them to do we [58:39] want them to move faster we have the best equipment in the world but we want them to move faster we don't [58:43] want to wait a year or a year and a half we want to wait a week maybe so that's happening and i think [58:49] the results are very good they're all they're building uh at levels that nobody's ever seen before [58:56] and we've had tremendous success and our military was just proud of it again venezuela was a one day [59:03] war and we have a great relationship with venezuela we're working with partners with venezuela now [59:09] taking out tens of millions of barrels of oil and going to houston going to alaska going to louisiana [59:17] going to different places for refinement refineries and it's been very much amazing [59:23] the administration has done more in 18 months than most administrations have done in [59:28] eight years if you had a two-termer we've done more in 18 months than anyone's ever seen before [59:34] nobody's ever seen this is the golden age of america and we have a war that's going on [59:40] i guess you call it a war maybe i call it a military operation because they have no maybe it's been [59:46] obliterated their air force has been obliterated they have no planes their missiles have been [59:52] largely they have some left they have some but they have far fewer than they had four or five months ago [59:59] uh they uh their manufacturing capacity is almost gone the drone capacity is almost gone very few [1:00:08] but they have some they always they have one that's too many as far as i'm concerned [1:00:12] and but we've done a an amazing job with venezuela we've done an amazing job here we're in there for [1:00:19] five months and i i know people like to say because we've done a much bigger job much more important [1:00:25] job than we originally anticipated so we're in there for five months and if you look at vietnam they [1:00:31] were in there for 20 years you look at afghanistan they were in there for many years you look at any one [1:00:37] of the wars korea any one of them they're in there for many years we're in for five months and we have [1:00:41] obliterated their military capacity again they've got some left but soon they won't have some left [1:00:48] so i just want to thank everybody around this table you've been very special i want to thank a lot of [1:00:52] the media people because many of you have been very very fair and very that's one of the reasons you're [1:00:57] here frankly but you've been very fair you've covered me this time much more fairly i think than [1:01:04] the first term the first term was a great success we had the greatest economy in history [1:01:10] in the first term and this term is going to blow it away i think this term is going to actually [1:01:13] blow it away so it's an honor to have you and i'd like to ask our great vice president jd vance to [1:01:20] say a few words followed by marco and pete and scott and bobby kennedy okay thank you very much [1:01:28] everybody please well great thanks mr president first of all thanks for having us at this historical and [1:01:34] beautiful place and uh it's an honor to be on the team an honor to be able to work on fraud which is what i'm [1:01:40] going to talk about today though i know we have a lot of things going on this has been an amazing [1:01:43] team from kelly leffler at sba to doug at the va to todd and bobby kennedy this really has required a [1:01:52] whole of administration approach to try to tackle fraud there are a few things that i want to talk [1:01:56] about and celebrate the first is that just since the beginning of the fraud task force that i started [1:02:01] under the president's leadership and direction we have identified 230 billion dollars of fraud that's [1:02:08] being perpetrated against the american people and we have halted already 56 billion dollars of that [1:02:14] it's sometimes hard once the money has already gone out the door it's hard to get it back but stopping [1:02:18] it from going out the door is how we save the american people 56 billion dollars and of course we're [1:02:23] going to keep on working on that just today mr president we will announce 17 new anti-fraud actions [1:02:29] that will total uh about a third of a billion dollars and that that's added to the 230 billion dollars that [1:02:35] we've already uncovered and i want to just talk for the benefit of the american people about why do [1:02:41] we care so much about this because what i always try to remind people is that fraud has two victims [1:02:46] so to give one concrete example there is a program that is administered by medicaid and that program [1:02:54] ensures that low-income moms and low-income babies have access to neonatal care now i think most americans [1:03:00] probably share my view this is one of the great things about the united states of america [1:03:04] that if we see a baby and we see a young mother that requires help we help our fellow americans [1:03:10] that's a good thing it's something that we should be proud of and yet there is a program that has [1:03:15] defrauded the moms and the babies who benefit from these you've gotten people who've gotten rich [1:03:21] by setting up false companies that are providing false services so who loses in that equation number one [1:03:27] of course is the american taxpayer that is 230 billion dollars poorer because of the fraud that this country [1:03:33] has let go on but i actually think most importantly is that we've seen that program run out of money [1:03:39] so we've seen moms and babies unable to access the health care that they need because the fraudsters [1:03:45] have gotten rich that is a disgrace and until the president ordered us to stop it no one was doing [1:03:52] anything about it so we've made a lot of progress mr president in just under a year we're going to keep [1:03:57] on working at it because we believe the american people deserve to have their money spent as you and the [1:04:02] congress have directed it there's big numbers here fine tremendous numbers they look like elliot nest [1:04:08] does anybody know they look like that group of people you have lined up behind you that they're [1:04:13] doing a great job yes sir billions thinking not not millions billions of dollars is being recovered [1:04:20] billions and you haven't seen anything yet we have things happening that people aren't going to [1:04:26] believe the level of corruption and fraud that took place under the biden administration was [1:04:30] unprecedented and minnesota california maine maine believe it or not you know you think of maine [1:04:37] is this wonderful place yep it's uh the level of corruption is incredible all over all over [1:04:43] so uh great job thank you very much thank you sir okay so my turn well first of all thank you for [1:04:49] bringing us out here um i got the chance to drive for the first time in the year and a half which is [1:04:54] the developer so just a couple points that uh you we all know we've followed enemies obviously the [1:05:06] events in the middle east and others you can talk about that not that they're not important but there's [1:05:10] some other issues happening around the world mr president that you've shown great leadership in [1:05:13] that have not gotten nearly as much attention i think they deserve a mention today the first is [1:05:17] the international criminal court is an illegitimate international organization that frankly [1:05:22] illegitimate they've made themselves illegitimate because they claim that even if you're not a [1:05:26] member of that court they can come after you and what that literally means in the future is that [1:05:30] american servicemen political leaders and others could find themselves under the under indictment by [1:05:36] this international criminal court did you want to know a little bit about it jack smith used to work [1:05:40] there these are the people that think they can go out and basically indict any world leader and haul [1:05:44] them into the hague so we've begun we tried to get them to reform and listen to us they wouldn't do it [1:05:48] they're very arrogant we've now begun an effort to really try to bring that court to heel where [1:05:53] there's no information that they're after me it could happen just so you know because she's talking about [1:06:00] it i'm saying that means that he's not trying to defend me he is trying to defend bb and various other [1:06:06] people but there are many people that shouldn't be looked at that way but there is no indication that [1:06:12] uh i'm one of them at this moment well and i actually think the people who are in biggest [1:06:19] danger in our system are servicemen people in uniform they'll try to grab for the rest of their [1:06:23] lives will not be able to travel anywhere in the world with their families because they could be [1:06:26] arrested on one of these like imagine you're a soldier you fought in a war and 20 years later [1:06:30] they try to come grab you so this is a big problem so we've had dozens of countries already join us in [1:06:35] separate since we started two weeks ago five countries have already quit the icc and notified them that [1:06:40] they're leaving and we think there'll be more the second thing is we had an unprecedented ministerial [1:06:44] 60 countries came to washington and were part of an effort we were shedding light on far and left [1:06:50] terrorism and violence you know if a bomb goes off somewhere and it's tied to some right-wing group [1:06:54] or what i got you know i don't consider neo-nazis right here i consider them nazis right but you're [1:06:59] going to get a lot of attention on that but if it's a leftist group an antifa group [1:07:03] it gets no cover or they ignore the ideological spin and the ideological reason behind it so we've got 60 [1:07:09] countries came up here and hopefully creating a strong coalition to go after far left violent [1:07:14] terrorism go after it and call it by name and i think we're building a very strong coalition there [1:07:19] uh we've had some success in the middle east mr president as you know in the diplomatic front [1:07:24] the deal with lebanon and israel is unprecedented president ayun was here a week ago i think that [1:07:29] was the first visit by a lebanese president in over 30 some odd years in fact this is the first time the [1:07:34] israelis and the lebanese government have spoken at the official level in close to 30 years [1:07:38] and that was thanks to your leadership a lot of work to be done to keep that peace and build on [1:07:42] it but it's a real achievable and of course as you announced last night mr president this [1:07:46] disarmament deal that you brought about with steve and jared's work on on hamas is another big step [1:07:52] as well it's something a lot of people thought would never happen it needs to happen but the fact [1:07:56] they've even agreed to it is a real achievable last point is on the western hemisphere for the first [1:08:01] time in 15 20 years the overwhelming majority of the countries in the western hemisphere are now led [1:08:07] by pro-american leaders and pro-american governments it's an extraordinary achievement all of it [1:08:12] happening through virtually every election that's happened in the western hemisphere since you were [1:08:17] elected president has elected someone who is pro-american and i think this is an incredible [1:08:22] situation and last but not least and i have to thank a number of agencies here particularly the department [1:08:26] of war after that terrible earthquake in venezuela within 36 hours the full force of the american [1:08:33] government was on the ground providing humanitarian assistance it was a sight to behold the uss ford [1:08:39] i think was in their port our marines and and uh armed service personnel were helping run their [1:08:45] airport in their tower it is one of the fastest most dramatic the most effective humanitarian responses [1:08:50] certainly in recent history if not ever and they came at the direction of the president in fact within [1:08:56] an hour of that earthquake hitting i remember because i was overseas the president called and said make [1:09:00] sure we go in there and help these people recover from this and and we did and thanks to your [1:09:05] leadership mr president it's a great story enough needs to be told about it because the credit goes [1:09:10] to so many agencies represented here today but really the department of wars effort was phenomenal [1:09:15] thank you very much just before we continue i want to just congratulate jay clayton he's with us [1:09:22] today as you know he's had a big victory he's going to be he's going to do a fantastic job he's only [1:09:28] done a face his whole life has been about doing a fantastic job congratulations thank you mr president [1:09:41] for the for the invitation the opportunity to be here uh it's an honor for the war department to [1:09:46] to help run this facility also from the from the food to the fence line uh it's it's an honor to have [1:09:51] you and it's it's great americans here and all around the country and all around the world who are [1:09:57] the core of what uh keep us safe but in order to do that you have to have a leader that's willing to [1:10:03] put them in a position to do it and that that's my takeaway mr president is um sort of three points [1:10:09] one it takes courage two it takes restoring the spirit which you have done and third it takes [1:10:15] investment and not just an investment but a generational investment and i think people miss that [1:10:20] the courage it takes to seal the border to say we're going to do it and we're going to do it every [1:10:23] single day and we're going to do it on behalf of the american people the courage to bomb the houthis [1:10:28] and say we will we will maintain freedom of navigation i wonder why they're not involved in this [1:10:32] conflict the houthis even though they're a proxy of iran because they felt the weight of american [1:10:37] power for 45 days and you had the courage to do that courage to do midnight hammer and conclude the [1:10:42] 12-day war by obliterating their nuclear sites something no one other presidents had the option [1:10:48] on their table to do but they never pulled the trigger because of the complications because of the [1:10:52] challenge and because of the risk courage the courage to take on cartels and drugs drug boats and [1:10:58] now forming the a triple c the america's counter cartel coalition with all those friendly [1:11:03] governments that marco talked about who want to be shoulder to shoulder not just with america [1:11:07] but with a bold strong america with clear leadership the courage to go uh get maduro in the most dangerous [1:11:15] most heavily guarded house inside the most heavily guarded fort inside the most heavily guarded town in [1:11:20] their capital city in the middle of the night and change the entire dynamic of that country and [1:11:25] that region and the world saw what the american military was capable to do but that doesn't happen [1:11:30] unless the commander-in-chief says you're authorized to do it and will take the handcuffs off when you [1:11:35] do it to ensure that americans come home the courage to undertake epic fury uh and and this iranian [1:11:41] regime and ensure they never have a nuclear weapon which remains your commitment and frankly the courage [1:11:47] to negotiate with people that have shown no willingness to do so honestly with incredible negotiators who [1:11:52] are the best in the world and give them every opportunity to do it uh give those things up [1:11:57] peacefully all of that takes guts but that comes on the backs of the change in the spirit of our [1:12:02] department you talk about spirit all the time and and your right to do so when you rip out dei when [1:12:08] you rip out social engineering and social justice and you put in merit and then you untie the hands [1:12:14] of commanders to be commanders to enforce discipline and accountability to get back to basics then you [1:12:20] get historic re-enlistment inside our ranks our best people mr president are staying because they want [1:12:25] to be in that kind of department and then historic recruitment record amongst young americans every [1:12:30] month our department breaks records and when did that trend line start on election day 2024 when the [1:12:37] american people said i want to serve under this president and that that new name the department of war [1:12:43] has become the ethos the warrior ethos of our department again spirit and i will know uh the flyovers [1:12:49] will indeed continue until morale but that's also spirit grades 250 flyovers the american people [1:12:58] seeing and feeling their military in ways they have not in the past that spirit and then finally mr [1:13:03] president a generational investment you rebuilt the military in your first term and you've spent in [1:13:08] your first year one trillion and now we are committed in working with congress to get 1.5 trillion but this [1:13:14] is not the same way we funded our department in the past this is a businessman in charge this is a [1:13:20] deputy secretary of our department who's a turnaround guy uh just like the president is saying we will [1:13:25] not fund money we will not fund the apartment the way we have in the past in fact so far 75 billion [1:13:31] dollars in private investment from defense companies who are now investing in new plants new equipment [1:13:37] new assembly lines to build the munitions of the future faster than ever possible that's saving taxpayer [1:13:43] dollars uh because the companies themselves are investing that would never the arsenal of freedom [1:13:48] would never happen without you uh so just like you know we use a lot of the things ronald reagan's [1:13:53] build-up was a part of uh in this administration and in future administrations they will look back [1:13:58] at donald trump and the build-up that he has done and that will be the deterrence of the future will [1:14:03] be established because of your investment so thank you mr president for your picture [1:14:06] mr president it's an honor to be here in this historic place as we celebrate our nation's 250th [1:14:16] anniversary and i think if we look back the whether our founders was president of washington thomas [1:14:23] jefferson uh alexander hamilton could not have imagined the economy that we would have created [1:14:29] it is the envy of the world and as you said we have record investment coming in we've never seen [1:14:35] anything like it and we're pulling away from the rest of the world that because of your leadership [1:14:40] the policies that you did from day one in terms of digital assets in terms of technology and bringing [1:14:47] back american manufacturing it's you you've done it again you had the incredible economy during your [1:14:56] first term and we are seeing that carry over here and it is in stark contrast to the biden economy [1:15:03] which was government jobs government spending and high inflation the worst inflation in 50 years and [1:15:12] the with the working families tax cuts which i will add every democrat voted against every democrat voted [1:15:20] against the it is the perfect barbell for this economy on one side you have full expensing for [1:15:27] for factories for equipment for farm structures on the other side your four signature policies promises [1:15:36] made promises kept no tax and tips no tax and overtime no tax and social security deductibility [1:15:42] of auto loans if you buy an american-made car and the americans are starting starting to feel core [1:15:50] inflation is low consumer confidence is strong we have the highest consumer confidence came up today [1:15:57] the in five months and uh main street is back small small banks are linked thanks to your policy small [1:16:05] banks community banks are lending again and the americans are starting to feel it as you said these trump [1:16:13] accounts are the most successful program launch in government history we've had 7 million families sign up for [1:16:20] them we're going to get to open enrollment and we will have 70 million families who have signed up for this [1:16:27] 38 percent of american families households have no exposure to our great equity market and thanks to you [1:16:34] we're going to have an ownership society an ownership society you were one of the first presidents to create [1:16:41] assets for the american people not more debt we had the biggest tax refund season ever [1:16:47] uh trade deals tax cuts energy dominance and direct the regulatory efforts america is ushering in the [1:16:55] greatest reshoring wave in our history in june our manufacturing sector expanded for the sixth straight [1:17:02] month we've got construction jobs and those are going to weave into manufacturing jobs we've got main street [1:17:09] prosperity real wages are up a thousand dollars and sir what you've done again too is the bottom 25 [1:17:17] of wagers just like in your first term are outperforming the top 25 this is a working families [1:17:25] administration that last in the past year that group had had real wage or had wage increases 5.5 percent [1:17:37] the three times the what the top end has done so you've done it again and these are private sector jobs [1:17:46] we're creating as you often say in these meetings we could have created a million two million government [1:17:51] jobs but we didn't the private sector is creating we've got incentives we've got money coming in and [1:17:58] we are rebuilding so and then our energy dominance thanks to you and these policies you can come to [1:18:04] the u.s you're going to have regulatory certainty tax certainty and energy certainty so it is the best place [1:18:10] in the world to build your factory and finally i want to add it has been a pleasure to be a part of [1:18:15] our privilege to be a part of as we've gone from epic fury to economic fury to constrict on your orders [1:18:23] constrict the iranian regimes the financial tentacles all around the world we started it and on your orders [1:18:30] we started in march 2025 in december of 2025 the largest bank in iran collapsed the central bank had to print [1:18:39] money cost inflation now they got 180 percent inflation they aren't able to pay their troops [1:18:45] and on your orders we are searching for their assets all around the world and that money will go to the [1:18:50] iranian people americans who have been harmed by the iranians whether the uss cold they are the barracks [1:18:58] in lebanon they or it will go back to when the iranians attacked these ships coming out so it's been [1:19:07] a privilege to be part of that and i look forward to the rest of it thank you very much and i want to [1:19:13] just add that today there are more people working in the united states than at any time in the history [1:19:19] of our country we have more people working today and we think of that number i mean more people [1:19:24] working today by far than at any time in the history of our country so it's been something very very [1:19:30] special and bobby please thank you mr president let me just take a moment to take note of the [1:19:38] historical significance of this occasion before the press came in you asked all the cabinet members [1:19:45] who had been to camp david before and about i think about three quarters of mad i raised my hand but i [1:19:51] haven't been here for 62 years i came here i came here on weekends as many weekends as we could between [1:19:59] 1961 and 1963. my father loved this place my uncle loved this place he was nobody knows about this [1:20:08] because on the history books but he was resentful at dwight eisenhower for renaming it camp david [1:20:14] and he if he had got made it to his second term he was going to rename it chamberlain which was the [1:20:20] original name that roosevelt had had named it but my uncle prided himself on being the most open [1:20:28] transparent administration in history he was the first president that televised press conferences [1:20:34] during his thousand days in office he had about 30 press conferences you mr president have press [1:20:40] conferences every day and nobody's done and here you've opened the inner sanctum of the presidency [1:20:49] for the first time in history and i think that's a beautiful thing because you also face although [1:20:54] you gave these guys a lot of compliments the most hostile press corps that any president united [1:21:01] state history uniformly so anyway um i'm i'm going to talk just briefly about a subject you alluded to [1:21:12] which is the mfn and just so everybody has the background um you were here to every president [1:21:20] promised to fix that disparity between what we pay and what the other developed countries paid when you [1:21:26] came into office the list price for osempic was thirteen hundred and fifty dollars for americans [1:21:31] you could get internet any pharmacy in london hamburg frankfurt for eighty eight dollars [1:21:37] and this every president president bush president biden president clinton as obama have all promised [1:21:45] fixes none of them did anything you fixed it i said hey why do you leave office assuming that's in [1:21:58] twenty twenty eight um ninety five percent of the drug that are available to americans they will be [1:22:07] paying the lowest prices in the world trump rx just in the short time that we since we put it out [1:22:14] has saved americans seven hundred million dollars we now have 800 drugs on there we have deals with [1:22:20] amazon and with good rx we're adding more and more drugs every day and i'll just give you one example [1:22:26] preluent is a very popular cholesterol drug its list price is 522 that's what everybody is paying [1:22:36] we now have it on trump rx for 237 dollars that means that the 300 000 americans who take that drug [1:22:45] will be saving 3 700 a year on pharmaceuticals every year and you can apply that across the board this is [1:22:56] going to change it's making pharmaceuticals affordable the most affordable in this country [1:23:01] of any country in the world well thank you mr president how are you doing on the autism research [1:23:09] we will have an answer for you we just got it so important okay we'll be talking about that we'll be [1:23:15] having something of interest such an important thing there's a picture of your uncle right there on [1:23:20] the wall i know just look at the handsome guy that's quite a picture did you see it yeah maybe [1:23:27] that gave you the idea to start out that way but it's it's quite a picture uh any questions mr [1:23:32] president mr president we've seen these strikes between iran and united states for the past 10 days [1:23:38] how do you go about reviving the ceasefire and and getting diplomacy back on well i think we just want [1:23:43] to win you know we just want to win we're doing very well uh we're trying to be nice as nice as you can be [1:23:50] in a situation like that but you know they're they're being decimated they have no navy they have [1:23:57] no air force they have no anti-aircraft doesn't mean they don't have any capability they have some but [1:24:03] very little we just want to win we don't want to have them it's very simple uh they could not have [1:24:11] a nuclear weapon iran will not have a nuclear weapon and they can't have a nuclear weapon [1:24:15] if they did the middle east would have been wiped out by now if i didn't stop the jcpoa the obama deal [1:24:24] if i didn't terminate that they would have had a nuclear weapon i believe israel would no longer [1:24:28] be with us in big parts of the middle east and perhaps other countries in different continents [1:24:34] frankly because these people are crazy so they cannot have a nuclear weapon and they won't [1:24:40] mr president over the next four weeks you know we'll be hitting we'll be hitting them very hard [1:24:47] you know at some point they're going to say we just can't take it anymore mr president on the [1:24:51] disarmament meal deal that you announced do you have assurances from israel that they are on board [1:24:56] with this deal and what comes first does israel pull back and then hamas disarms or does hamas need to [1:25:02] disarm and then israel we do have an understanding with israel israel is very happy about israel helped us [1:25:08] and they've been very good they've been very good about most people said that would be a deal that [1:25:13] would be undoable now will it go through its ups and downs it's a very complex situation over there [1:25:20] the people are very complex and difficult uh many cases wonderful in many cases not so wonderful [1:25:27] but that will be a uh it's a great breakthrough nobody's ever thought that would nobody thought that [1:25:32] would be possible to disarm hamas that shows you how much success we're having with iran because if [1:25:40] you go four months ago five months ago a deal like that would have been impossible so it's a big step [1:25:45] for the middle east and people are really impressed by it and they're surprised by it and what comes [1:25:49] first mr president what comes first mr infantino speak to you about their proposal to sell a stake in [1:25:54] the world cup and is that something you support having just happened uh did fifa or mr infantino speak to [1:26:00] you about their proposal to sell a stake in the world mr president um on the you said this morning [1:26:06] on true social that victims of government abuse should be paid back yeah even if it's not the [1:26:11] anti-weaponization fund would you still want the acting attorney general i'm talking about the [1:26:16] weaponization against large numbers of people in our country by the biden administration and by [1:26:23] obama but by the biden administration in particular in this case but large numbers of people their lives [1:26:29] have been ruined they've been destroyed their families have been you know decimated they've [1:26:34] gone to prison for no reason whatsoever there's never been a group of people most likely i mean [1:26:40] i can think of a couple that were treated pretty badly groups but there's essentially never been a [1:26:45] group of people treated so badly as these people and this fund this fund was not for me this fund was [1:26:51] for those people that have been weaponized that have been abused now i was abused they attacked my [1:26:57] house mar-a-lago where i live and i was you know big damages should have been given to me i don't want [1:27:03] anything i'm not talking about myself i think that there's a group of people in this country uh history [1:27:10] will show that were treated like nobody else has ever been treated so badly so horribly their families [1:27:19] have been ruined many many suicides they've committed suicide people that were very successful that wanted to [1:27:25] go to a rally or an event and ended up spending the rest of their lives in horror no so i mean you [1:27:35] can say what you want about the fund and uh they've they've agreed to not have a fund but there are a [1:27:41] lot of people that are very upset about it a lot of republican people a lot of democrat people are [1:27:46] very upset about it a lot of people were covered i wasn't covered by that fund i don't want to be [1:27:50] covered by the flood i probably was abused more than anybody in the history of our country but i i was [1:27:56] looking for that but there were a lot of people and i'll tell you something todd todd blanche is a [1:28:00] very very good man and he shouldn't be in the middle of this he should get approved because you [1:28:06] will never get anybody like him you're never going to get anybody and to make him a pawn on this whole [1:28:11] thing this is being done by a senator i don't really blame him to be honest with you i endorsed his [1:28:16] opponent and as soon as i endorsed his opponent his opponent went through the roof and he won the [1:28:21] primary election in texas for the senate and the man that lost the man that i didn't endorse has [1:28:30] become very angry and that's okay i mean i understand that i probably would do the same thing [1:28:35] you want to know the truth i think i do the same thing on that though do you agree just to be clear [1:28:39] do you agree with the acting attorney general that the anti-weaponization fund is dead and why not just [1:28:44] put that well it is dead but you know i wish it weren't to be honest with you i think people were [1:28:50] horribly treated horribly abused this has nothing to do with todd this was me uh horribly abused and [1:28:56] i'd like to see them compensated for the the pain they lost their families they committed suicide many [1:29:03] people committed suicide they went down for an innocent journey and i'm not only talking there i'm [1:29:09] talking about not even having to do with that the way they were treated the biden administration and the [1:29:15] obama administration weaponized government and destroyed lives are you willing to accept limits on [1:29:23] the scope of the audit immunity deal in order to get attorney general blanche confirmed well he should [1:29:28] be approved forthwith i mean you're never going to get a person like that everybody agrees to it don't [1:29:34] forget uh senator corner thought he was phenomenal until he lost you know when he lost is that a correct [1:29:41] statement you come from texas i mean he thought this was the most incredible person then when he lost [1:29:46] then he lost because of me i endorsed somebody else and as soon as i endorsed the other person [1:29:51] the other person became a rocket ship upward and he lost and you know i think i'd be the same [1:29:59] i mean i shouldn't say that but i'd be upset also and so i fully understand it he shouldn't be that [1:30:07] way i shouldn't be that way but he is that way he's become a very angry person and i understand you have [1:30:12] a couple of others that i've caused their defeat too and you know you'll probably hear from them too [1:30:17] yeah mr president back on iran there's a report that you got a proposal from the military to go [1:30:22] big and hit them hard over 10 or 14 days well we're going big are you going to consider we've already [1:30:26] gone big look i mean what's big they had 159 ships that was their entire navy 159 their entire navy is [1:30:34] laying at the bottom of the sea i'd say that's going big uh they had 200 airplanes they're all gone [1:30:39] every one of them they're not one airplane they had anti-aircraft weaponry very good but it didn't [1:30:44] work and uh it's all gone their radar is all gone their leaders are all gone everything's all gone [1:30:52] but they'll fight onward mr president on ukraine you said the other day that you're not sure [1:30:57] about whether to grant ukraine the patriot missile license that had been discussed do you want to see [1:31:02] more from zelinski before you take that action well it's a big step look we have the greatest weapons in [1:31:09] the world we have the greatest drones in the world people don't know that we have the greatest [1:31:13] weaponry in the world we have in the case of uh president zelinski he'd like to have some patriots [1:31:19] he'd like to have some tomahawks which is you know lethal one offensive one defensive but when you give [1:31:26] somebody the right very complex weapons by the way i mean the patriot as an example the other day you read [1:31:31] that five missiles were shot they were going eight thousand six hundred miles an hour think of it [1:31:38] eight thousand six hundred now a car if you go 60 it gets to be a little faster if you go 100 [1:31:45] eight thousand six hundred miles an hour and they were big missiles and they were shot at jordan [1:31:51] and our guys were there bing bing bing bing bing bing five bing bing bing bing bing bing right i don't [1:31:58] want to be buying that would have been that would have been a great sound bite there were five missiles [1:32:06] and we shot all five down before they got close nobody else has that capacity these weapons are [1:32:13] incredible we have to be very careful about letting somebody build them you know it's very uh important [1:32:20] now we are building many plants now to make those and other the tomahawk missile is the most incredible [1:32:27] thing it can go into a doorway you can put it through a window of a house nobody's ever said [1:32:33] anything like it you have to be very judicious but you have to be very careful uh now we have not agreed [1:32:40] to that we're talking about it but it's a hard thing to give away that kind of technology uh and i don't [1:32:47] think this would ever happen but you know those people that you give that technology they can [1:32:51] someday turn on you you know that is possible you look at war it's happened a couple of times over [1:32:57] the years right so we have to be very careful i mean we we guard that we have the greatest military [1:33:02] in the world but we have the greatest weapons in the world now we have to make them a little bit [1:33:06] faster because we've given a lot of way you know uh president biden unfortunately gave a lot of way to [1:33:13] ukraine and he gave and so did i i mean i gave them the javelins the tank busters without the javelins that [1:33:21] that war would have been a one day war would have been over they wiped out the tanks going up to [1:33:25] kiev where they got stuck in the mud they had a general that decided to go through the mud instead [1:33:30] of going up the highway where they were going very nicely it would have been over but uh no i gave them [1:33:36] the javelins the javelins are unbelievably we have the greatest weapons in the world we have to be very [1:33:41] careful about giving out the secrets to those weapons and they're not you you can't copy them it's a little [1:33:48] like uh nvidia they have a chip they say you cannot copy it the complexity is so great you cannot you [1:33:57] know most things you copy china's known for it other countries that we do something and i guess we copy [1:34:03] also most things you can copy pretty easily there's a chip that they made their ultimate chip and they [1:34:10] always have the ultimate chip and i say well why doesn't somebody copy it because they can't [1:34:15] the complexity they can't copy our weapons we have the greatest weapons in the world many of them [1:34:20] those are just two or three that i mentioned but uh you cannot copy them so we have to be very careful [1:34:28] as hamas disarms as part of this plan who do you see is taking possession of those weapons that they [1:34:32] had does that go to the new government does it be uh the board of peace mostly it's going to be run by [1:34:37] the board this board of peace has been an amazing it's led by some amazing people board of peace [1:34:42] you said they do have some capabilities left should americans be prepared for these back-and-forth [1:34:49] attacks to continue until the ronson will be able to strike it back they'll get weaker they'll get a [1:34:53] little stronger maybe now but they'll get weaker and then they peter out uh yeah sure i think so i [1:35:00] mean it'd be foolish to say no you always have to keep your guard up what is the status of talks who [1:35:05] went from the administration well they always want to talk but they break their word so often steve [1:35:10] is talking jared we have very good people uh jd's involved very strongly involved uh we have great [1:35:16] people talking marco's involved because they say talks aren't happening very good people we're the [1:35:21] best people but they'll make a deal as an example we'll talk about nuclear and we'll be in there [1:35:27] talking about nuclear for seven hours i say why is it why do you need seven you can take ten minutes [1:35:32] you have five minutes you should solve it but seven hours and then they'll go out and i'll say they [1:35:38] discuss nuclear and they'll go out and they'll say we never discussed nuclear and i'll say why [1:35:43] what do they say all they do is make me angry you know you just make me angry any other questions [1:35:49] do you believe that you can reach a deal with iran given that you talked about yes you can i mean [1:35:54] look um i'm losing faith in them because they do lie and do they do misrepresent well the other day [1:36:03] the five missiles were shot we knocked them down but we were in the midst of a negotiation i mean i'm [1:36:07] waiting for steve to call me how's the negotiation going and instead i got a call from pete that [1:36:14] they just shot five missiles at one of our bases in jordan and we have bases in jordan fortunately [1:36:21] our people operated the equipment it's also very complex to operate you know you talk about the [1:36:25] equipment it's a very you you have to be oftentimes you see where did you go to school mit caltech i mean [1:36:32] you know they go to schools that are not as normal for the military to be honest with you we have [1:36:38] unbelievably brilliant people operating that equipment and when you don't you know the [1:36:42] equipment uh the shots miss the safety misses or the accuracy misses we have unbelievable people [1:36:50] think of it we had 111 at one point a couple of months ago 111 over a short period of time missiles [1:36:58] were shot at the abraham lincoln aircraft carrier great beautiful ship one of the most beautiful ships to [1:37:04] me design was 111 missiles going out out of the 111 missiles 111 missiles were shot down quite a bit [1:37:16] earlier than they got i mean long before they got there they were shot down it was almost in a couple [1:37:22] of cases they were shot down almost as they were taking off it's incredible technology so you have [1:37:28] a ship that cost billions of dollars and you have missiles heading to it 111 missiles were shot down [1:37:37] routinely shut down and i speak i spoke to the people i like to reward people i call them up on [1:37:43] the president and uh they were cool as a cucumber mr president the last two weeks of strikes uh by centcom [1:37:52] centcom has said that those were meant to degrade or rand's ability to disrupt the strait of hormuz [1:37:56] how many more strikes will it take to significantly well you never know look i mean most people would [1:38:01] have given up by them you know they've got no navy they got no air force most people would have given [1:38:05] up they haven't so i give them credit for that i mean they're known as being tough they're tough [1:38:10] back on back on ukraine what did you tell president zelinski about the patriots did you explain all that to [1:38:15] him you're concerned i spoke to about patriots i spoke to him about tomahawks spoke to about everything [1:38:19] i also spoke to him about let's get this war over with so last month they had 25 000 people it's averaging about [1:38:25] 25 000 people a month die mostly soldiers almost entirely but you know missiles are hitting areas [1:38:32] also but mostly soldiers there are 25 000 soldiers the month before that it was 32 000 soldiers i said [1:38:40] you got to get this war over with i think he wants to make a deal and i think putin wants to make a [1:38:45] deal but there's a lot of dislike as you probably notice he seems very reluctant to make concessions [1:38:51] president putin well nobody wants to make concessions but they're both gonna have to make [1:38:56] some concessions i mean you got to make a deal 25 000 young beautiful people soldiers mostly soldiers [1:39:04] are dying a month it's uh i ended eight wars that was the war i thought would maybe go first and it [1:39:12] really hasn't it's kind of has i mean i ended wars that were in theory much more difficult to end we had [1:39:18] a couple that were uh into the 30-year category well the congo look at the congo in rwanda that was [1:39:25] our nasty war it's a it's an amazing group and america is safer and stronger and far more successful [1:39:32] than it was two years ago and i think frankly that it ever was i don't think it's ever been anything [1:39:39] like this we're building more factories plants in this country than we've ever built before [1:39:46] and uh we're gonna be uh at some point we'll be leaving this position and we're gonna leave this [1:39:51] country in very very good shape better shape than it's ever been when we took office we inherited a [1:39:58] total catastrophe the last administration created the worst inflation in 48 years the most dangerous [1:40:04] and insecure border in history and exploding trade deficits like we have never seen before rampant crime [1:40:12] men and women's sports transgender mutualization of your children and chaos and bedlam all over the [1:40:20] world other than that they did quite a good job in less than 18 months we've turned around four years [1:40:27] of disaster we now have the strongest border in american history we went from the worst border i believe [1:40:32] of any country in history 25 million people came through in four years and these are people that in many [1:40:38] cases you don't want there were murderers there were drug dealers there were people that you [1:40:43] do not want but now we have the strongest border in american history and for the last 15 months the [1:40:49] report just came out again we've had no people coming in through our southern border zero and it's [1:40:56] almost hard to say because you'd say is that even possible they had 25 million people came in we have [1:41:01] no people coming in through illegally through our southern border and that's in history so think of that [1:41:07] zero a big beautiful zero the murder rate saw its single largest drop ever recorded to the [1:41:13] lowest in 125 years that goes back to think of it it goes back to 1900 the lowest murder rate in the [1:41:21] history of our country so that's something today i just want to mention that we heard in minnesota [1:41:29] there was a cyber attack and they blame it on iran i don't think so i think i blame it on minnesota [1:41:34] because they're grossly incompetent there was a cyber attack of 30 water plants and i would blame it on [1:41:41] minnesota and the governor the corrupt governor of minnesota they like to say always iran iran should [1:41:47] be so lucky iran's got bigger problems than worrying about minnesota this month it was announced that [1:41:53] inflation is dropping at the fastest rate in more than six years walmart sam's club giant eagle and [1:42:00] others are slashing prices by by hundreds of grocery stores and all of the stores i mean throughout the [1:42:07] country they're slashing crisis something that you haven't seen for a long time since my last [1:42:12] administration the stock market has set 73 all-time record highs since the election that means all-time [1:42:20] record highs 73 days out of a very short period of time and the typical 401k is up by more than 30 000 [1:42:28] dollars and when you think of that if you add another one thousand dollars to it it will be we [1:42:37] set the record in the last administration a record still standing this administration is going to blow [1:42:43] my last administration away when the factories that we're building that record that we're not building [1:42:49] them all over the world they're building they're coming from all over the world they're coming from [1:42:54] germany with the cars they're coming from germany they're coming from japan south korea canada mexico [1:43:01] from all over the world they're building auto plants here because otherwise they have to pay tariffs [1:43:05] the tariffs have made our country rich and successful and all of this i mean i'd like to say it was the [1:43:12] election on november 5th there was the election and that's fine but without the election you wouldn't [1:43:17] have what i've done economically so we have the most successful environment that we've ever had [1:43:24] there's never been anything like it from the standpoint of investment into our country it's [1:43:29] five to six times higher than anybody has ever seen than any other country any other country not [1:43:34] just us has ever had on july 4th we launched trump accounts to keep a vision of our great big beautiful [1:43:41] bill and these tax-free investment savings accounts have already been activated by over seven million [1:43:47] children these are investments made in our future which is our children our children are [1:43:53] the most important aspect of our future with more being added each day so it's a tremendous hit over [1:43:59] seven million and really really just got going i would say scott about two weeks ago when it was [1:44:06] we got the final approvals and we have over seven million actually there's never been anything [1:44:12] quite like that but millions of accounts are pre-funded with a thousand dollars from the u.s treasury [1:44:18] or generous gifts from private donors like michael and susan dell and others who have given billions [1:44:24] of dollars billions people are putting up hundreds of millions and billions of dollars into it and buying [1:44:30] really a great future for children when they turn 18 or when they turn 21 instead of having no hope no [1:44:36] future they will end up with hundreds of thousands of dollars and maybe even more than that so it's going [1:44:42] to be something to save with modest additional contributions they'll grow by numbers that should [1:44:49] be it could be over two hundred thousand dollars we're looking at the timeline we're looking i wish [1:44:54] we had an economy like we have now with the stock markets going up but they will benefit by our country [1:45:00] being successful and we're going to give every child a head start on the american dream so go to trump [1:45:06] accounts dot gov they're really something the whole world's talking about it and it's far ahead of [1:45:12] schedule nobody thought it would be as successful as it's been but it should be it should be and we [1:45:17] start them off with a thousand dollars and this was part of the great big beautiful bill with my most [1:45:23] favored nation policy you could say this is even a bigger thing if that's possible on drug prices we're [1:45:29] achieving record discounts on prescription drugs the prescription drugs uh we're going through the [1:45:35] roof for many years and now we're getting record discounts with price differences of 300 400 500 600 [1:45:44] percent nobody's ever heard of a thing like that and what this is all about is that we were the highest [1:45:51] we had the highest prices anywhere in the world by far most expensive drugs prescription drugs and and [1:45:58] others the highest in the world the whole world was laughing at us we paid for the rest of the world we [1:46:03] subsidized the whole world and i said we're not going to do that and i started it in the first [1:46:09] administration i took it up uh obviously biden wasn't able to do anything about it because you [1:46:14] had to get the consent of the drug companies and you had to get the consent more difficult would be [1:46:19] the consent of other nations the other nations had to agree but they were paying a fraction sometimes [1:46:25] 10 20 20 40 40 70 less so i had to call them and i had to get them on and i said if you don't do it [1:46:34] we're gonna have to charge your tariffs and uh they all said no at first very politely said sir we can't [1:46:39] do that we're not going to double our prices they had to double their prices and in some case triple [1:46:45] their price and we would come down so a pill that sold for ten dollars in germany would sell for 130 [1:46:55] in new york same pill from the same company the same factory the same plant same laboratory from [1:47:01] ten dollars and we pay 130 dollars i say no no now the world is a bigger place so it's not as bad as [1:47:08] it sounds for them so they went up to 20 and we came down to 20. so we now have the lowest drug prices [1:47:15] anywhere in the world we're tied with the laws but we're basically its favorite nation so we have the [1:47:20] lowest drug prices anywhere in the world from the highest drug prices anywhere in the world now [1:47:25] what that does for your health care i mean i see these fake polls where the democrats have wonderful [1:47:31] numbers on this stuff and they are horrible what they've done obamacare is a total disaster it's a [1:47:37] costly wreck it's unaffordable we call it the unaffordable care act it's a disgrace they never even [1:47:43] thought of being able to do something like this they didn't even try they didn't even try [1:47:48] so i got the drug companies first and then i got the countries and the drug companies agreed [1:47:55] because they knew the countries wouldn't agree and when i called germany france when i called [1:48:00] the uk when i called all of these countries i said you got to do it it's unfair we're paying [1:48:06] 10 times more than you're paying for the same drug you can't do this and they said well we're not going [1:48:11] to do that because we're going to have to double our price today in order to make you happy i said no [1:48:15] maybe you're going to have to triple your price they said well we can't do it i said that's all [1:48:19] right if you can't do it then i can't do something also and i'm going to charge you very substantial [1:48:25] tariffs which are far more than we're talking about and they all said we'd love to do it we would love [1:48:30] to do it it would be our great honor to do it so nobody else would do this this would have never [1:48:35] happened so your drug prices have gone down my numbers not even thinkable my first term i had the [1:48:40] privilege of having lower drug prices from the beginning of the year till the end for the first [1:48:45] time in 28 years you remember and i called the news conference to announce it so the year it ended and [1:48:52] i was turned out one eighth of a percent one eighth of a percent little tiny this much it went down that [1:49:00] much during one year first time in 28 years it went down it was always like this just up more expensive [1:49:08] and i called the news conference i was so proud of myself and i said ladies and gentlemen the first [1:49:13] time in 28 years drug prices have gone down from january till the end of december and i want to just [1:49:22] congratulate everybody for being a part of this wonderful experiment and one-eighth of a point now [1:49:29] we're talking about 400 500 600 percent coming down we pay the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world [1:49:36] from the highest so uh you know and i'll say it again and again because the press doesn't want to [1:49:41] report it the fake news doesn't want to report it they don't want to talk about it what that does for [1:49:45] health care bobby is unbelievable because medicine is a big part of health care so i wish that uh people [1:49:52] would understand that and i hope they're going to vote for us in the midterms because you'll see some [1:49:56] stuff that will be horrible because they can blow it very fast if they don't know what they're doing [1:50:01] so your drug prices are great you know i saw spain uh yesterday and i watched the catastrophe that [1:50:08] took place it was a it looks like an invasion of a country by hundreds of thousands of people [1:50:15] and that same thing is going to happen to us if the republicans don't get elected except worse much [1:50:21] bigger much easier to get into despite the fact that we have built thousands of miles of wall which i [1:50:29] said we were going to do but we didn't have that forget it but we have the safest border in the [1:50:34] world if we're not in office our country will be invaded at levels that made spain look small time [1:50:44] and when i watched it i said boy i said i'm going to say it because i knew you're going to be at camp [1:50:49] david and i say that's going to be a talking point for the midterms because when you look at what [1:50:55] happened to spain they don't know what to do and it's happening again today they're coming in by the [1:50:59] thousands tens of thousands it just it's just invading the country and what that is is weak [1:51:08] law bad management but very liberal law they passed a couple of laws and people read you know people are [1:51:17] smart they read from other countries and they swam that three mile swim or however they got in but [1:51:24] nobody's seen anything like it that will look good compared to what's going to happen to the united [1:51:29] states the biggest thing the worst thing that biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country [1:51:34] because many of those people are criminals they're murderers a lot of 11 888 a lot of them are gone [1:51:42] now we got them out but they allow people to come into this country that you can't allow to come into [1:51:47] a country we're also making an unprecedented investment in the united states armed forces [1:51:53] where we're doing great we rebuilt the armed forces we rebuilt our military my first term but we are [1:52:00] doing great with our military they spent a lot of money in our military they gave away 300 billion [1:52:06] dollars worth of ammo and everything else in the in biden's term but we're building it up fast and we [1:52:13] have we're we just have a great military that's all there is to it but we rebuilt it in the in my first [1:52:19] term and we're using it in my second term with venezuela and other places and iran now iran is [1:52:27] doing very poorly just in case you read incorrect stories they're doing very very poorly they're having [1:52:31] a hard time they've been very dishonest they've been very dishonorable to deal with but uh that makes no [1:52:38] difference they're doing very very poorly we're also making that investment and looking forward to getting [1:52:44] pete 1.5 trillion dollars next year people see now how important it is we want to keep a safe country [1:52:51] we have to keep a safe country and the good news is all of that equipment is made in the usa so we're [1:52:57] making it here it's jobs and each one of our defense groups are building literally at least four new [1:53:06] massive plants as we speak because we want them to do we want them to move faster we have the best [1:53:12] equipment in the world but we want them to move faster we don't want to wait a year or a year and [1:53:17] a half we want to wait a week maybe so that's happening and i think the results are very good [1:53:22] they're all they're building uh at levels that nobody's ever seen before and we've had tremendous [1:53:29] success and our military was just proud of it again venezuela was a one-day war and we have a great [1:53:37] relationship with venezuela we're working with partners with venezuela now taking out tens of millions of [1:53:43] barrels of oil and going to houston going to alaska going to louisiana going to different places for [1:53:50] refinement refineries and uh it's been very much amazing the administration has done more in 18 [1:53:57] months than most administrations have done in eight years if you had a two-termer we've done more in 18 [1:54:03] months than anyone's ever seen before nobody's ever seen this is the golden age of america and we have [1:54:10] a war that's going on i guess you call it a war maybe i call it a military operation because they [1:54:16] have no navy it's been obliterated their air force has been obliterated they have no planes their missiles [1:54:23] have been largely they have some left they have some but they have far fewer than they had four or [1:54:29] five months ago they uh their manufacturing capacity is almost gone the drone capacity is almost gone [1:54:39] they're very few but they have some they have one that's too many as far as i'm concerned [1:54:45] but we've done a an amazing job with venezuela we've done an amazing job here we're in there for [1:54:51] five months and i i know people like to say because we've done a much bigger job much more important [1:54:57] job than we originally anticipated so we're in there for five months and if you look at vietnam they were [1:55:03] in there for 20 years you look at afghanistan they were in there for many years you look at any one of [1:55:09] the wars korea any one of them they're in there for many years we're in for five months and we have [1:55:13] obliterated their military capacity again they've got some left but soon they won't have some left [1:55:20] so i just want to thank everybody around this table you've been very special i want to thank a lot of [1:55:24] the media people because many of you have been very very fair very that's one of the reasons you're [1:55:29] here frankly but you've been very fair you've covered me this time i mean much more fairly i think than [1:55:36] the first term the first term was a great success we had the greatest economy in history in the first [1:55:42] term and this term is going to blow it away i think this term is going to actually blow it away so it's [1:55:47] an honor to have you and i'd like to ask our great vice president jd vance to say a few words followed [1:55:54] by marco and pete and scott and bobby kennedy okay thank you very much everybody please well great thanks [1:56:03] mr president first of all thanks for having us at this historical and beautiful place and uh it's [1:56:08] an honor to be on the team an honor to be able to work on fraud which is what i want to talk about [1:56:12] today though i know we have a lot of things going on this has been an amazing team from kelly leffler [1:56:17] at sba to doug at the va to todd and bobby kennedy this really has required a whole of administration [1:56:25] approach to try to tackle fraud there are a few things that i want to talk about and celebrate [1:56:30] the first is that just since the beginning of the fraud task force that i started under the [1:56:34] president's leadership and direction we have identified 230 billion dollars of fraud that's [1:56:40] being perpetrated against the american people and we have halted already 56 billion dollars of that [1:56:46] it's sometimes hard once the money has already gone out the door it's hard to get it back but [1:56:50] stopping it from going out the door is how we save the american people 56 billion dollars and of [1:56:55] course we're going to keep on working on that just today mr president we will announce 17 new [1:57:00] anti-fraud actions that will total about a third of a billion dollars and that that's added to the [1:57:06] 230 billion dollars that we've already uncovered and i want to just talk for the benefit of the american [1:57:12] people about why do we care so much about this because what i always try to remind people is that fraud [1:57:17] has two victims so to give one concrete example there is a program that is administered by medicaid [1:57:25] and that program ensures that low-income moms and low-income babies have access to neonatal care [1:57:31] and i think most americans probably share my view this is one of the great things about the united [1:57:35] states of america that if we see a baby and we see a young mother that requires help we help our fellow [1:57:41] americans that's a good thing it's something that we should be proud of and yet there is a program [1:57:47] that has defrauded the moms and the babies who benefit from these you've gotten people who've [1:57:52] gotten rich by setting up false companies that are providing false services so who loses in that [1:57:57] equation number one of course is the american taxpayer that is 230 billion dollars poorer because of the [1:58:04] fraud that this country has let go on but i actually think most importantly is that we've seen that [1:58:10] program run out of money so we've seen moms and babies unable to access the health care that they need [1:58:16] because the fraudsters have gotten rich that is a disgrace and until the president ordered us to [1:58:22] stop it no one was doing anything about it so we've made a lot of progress mr president in just [1:58:27] under a year but we're going to keep on working at it because we believe the american people deserve [1:58:32] to have their money spent as you and the congress have directed it there's big numbers you're finding [1:58:37] tremendous numbers they look like elliot ness does anybody know who they look like that group of [1:58:43] people you have lined up behind you that they're doing a great job yes billions think it not not [1:58:48] millions billions of dollars is being recovered billions and you haven't seen anything yet we have [1:58:56] things happening that people aren't going to believe the level of corruption and fraud that took place [1:59:00] under the biden administration was unprecedented and minnesota california maine maine believe it or [1:59:08] not you know you think of maine is this wonderful place yep it's uh the level of corruption is incredible [1:59:14] all over all of them so uh great job thank you very much thank you sir okay please oh my turn well [1:59:21] first of all thank you for bringing us out here um i got the chance to drive for the first time in a year [1:59:26] and a half which is developed and um so just a couple points that uh you we all know we've [1:59:37] followed it and use obviously the events in the middle east and others you can talk about that not [1:59:41] that they're not important but there's some other issues happening around the world mr president [1:59:44] that you've shown great leadership in that have not gotten nearly as much attention i think they [1:59:48] deserve to mention today the first is the international criminal court is an illegitimate [1:59:52] international organization that frankly illegitimate they've made themselves illegitimate [1:59:56] because they claim that even if you're not a member of that court they can come after you [2:00:00] what that literally means in the future is that american servicemen political leaders and others [2:00:04] could find themselves under the under indictment by this international criminal court if you want to [2:00:10] know a little bit about it jack smith used to work there these are the people that think they can go [2:00:14] out and basically indict any world leader and haul them into the hague so we've begun we tried to get [2:00:18] them to reform and listen to us they wouldn't do it they're very arrogant we've now begun an [2:00:22] effort to really try to bring that court to heel where there's no information that they're after [2:00:27] me it could happen just so you know she's talking about it i'm saying that means that he's not trying [2:00:35] to defend me he is trying to defend bb and various other people but there are many people that shouldn't [2:00:41] be looked at that way but there is no indication that i'm one of them at this moment well and i actually [2:00:50] think the people who are in biggest danger in our system are servicemen people in uniform they'll [2:00:54] try to grab for the rest of their lives will not be able to travel anywhere in the world with their [2:00:57] families because they can be arrested on one of these like imagine you're a soldier you fought in [2:01:01] war and 20 years later they try to come grab you so this is a big problem so we've had dozens of [2:01:06] countries already join us in separate since we started two weeks ago five countries have already quit [2:01:10] the icc and notified them that they're leaving and we think there'll be more the second thing is we had an [2:01:15] unprecedented ministerial 60 countries came to washington and were part of an effort we were [2:01:20] shedding light on far left terrorism and violence you know if a bomb goes off somewhere and it's tied [2:01:25] to some right-wing group or what i you know i don't consider neo-nazis right here i consider them nazis [2:01:30] right but you're going to get a lot of attention on that but if it's a leftist group an antifa group [2:01:35] it gets no cover or they ignore the ideological spin and the ideological reason behind it so we've got 60 [2:01:41] countries came up here and hopefully creating a strong coalition to go after far left violent [2:01:46] terrorism go after it and call it by name and i think we're building a very strong coalition there [2:01:51] we've had some sex successes in the middle east mr president as you know in the diplomatic front [2:01:56] the deal with lebanon and israel is unprecedented that president ayun was here a week ago i think [2:02:01] that was the first visit by a lebanese president in over 30 some odd years in fact this is the first [2:02:05] time the israelis and the lebanese government have spoken at the official level in close to 30 years [2:02:10] and that was thanks to your leadership a lot of work to be done to keep that peace and build on it [2:02:14] but it's a real achievable and of course as you announced last night mr president this disarmament [2:02:19] deal that you brought about with steve and jared's work on on hamas is another big step as well it's [2:02:25] something a lot of people thought would never happen it needs to happen but the fact they've even [2:02:28] agreed to it is a real achievable last point is on the western hemisphere for the first time in [2:02:34] 15 20 years the overwhelming majority of the countries in the western hemisphere are now led [2:02:39] by pro-american leaders and pro-american governments it's an extraordinary achievement all of it [2:02:44] happening through a six virtually every election that's happened in the western hemisphere since [2:02:48] you were elected president has elected someone who is pro-american and i think this is an incredible [2:02:54] situation and last but not least and i have to thank a number of agencies here particularly the department [2:02:58] of war after that terrible earthquake in venezuela within 36 hours the full force of the american [2:03:05] government was on the ground providing humanitarian assistance it was a sight to behold the uss ward i [2:03:11] think was in their port our marines and and uh armed service personnel were helping run their airport [2:03:17] in their tower it is one of the fastest most dramatic the most effective humanitarian responses [2:03:22] certainly in recent history if not ever and it they came at the direction of the president in fact [2:03:28] within an hour of that earthquake hitting i remember because i was overseas the president called and said [2:03:32] make sure we go in there and help these people recover from this and and we did and thanks to [2:03:36] your leadership mr president it's a great story enough needs to be told about it because the credit [2:03:41] goes to so many agencies represented here today but really the department of wars effort was phenomenal [2:03:46] so thank you thank you very much just before we uh continue i want to just congratulate jay clitney's [2:03:54] with us today as you know he's had a big victory he's going to be he's going to do a fantastic job [2:03:59] he's only done his whole life has been about doing a fantastic job congratulations thank you mr [2:04:13] president for the for the invitation the opportunity to be here uh it's an honor for the war department [2:04:18] to to help run this facility also from the from the food to the fence line uh it's it's an honor to have [2:04:23] you and it's it's great americans here and all around the country and all around the world who are the [2:04:29] core of what uh keep us safe but in order to do that you have to have a leader that's willing to put [2:04:35] them in a position to do it and that's my takeaway mr president is um sort of three points one it [2:04:42] takes courage two it takes restoring the spirit which you have done and third it takes investment [2:04:48] and not just an investment but a generational investment and i think people miss that the [2:04:52] courage it takes to seal the border to say we're going to do it and we're going to do it every single [2:04:55] day and we're going to do it on behalf of the american people the courage to bomb the houthis and say [2:05:00] we will we will maintain freedom of navigation and wonder why they're not involved in this conflict [2:05:05] the houthis even though they're a proxy of iran because they felt the weight of american power [2:05:09] for 45 days and you had the courage to do that courage to to do midnight hammer and conclude the [2:05:14] 12-day war by obliterating their nuclear sites something no one other presidents had the option [2:05:20] on their table to do but they never pulled the trigger because of the complications because of the [2:05:24] challenges because of the risk courage the courage to take on cartels and drugs drug boats and now [2:05:31] forming the a triple c the america's counter cartel coalition with all those friendly governments [2:05:35] that marco talked about who want to be shoulder to shoulder not just with america but with a bold [2:05:40] strong america with clear leadership the courage to go uh get maduro in the most dangerous most [2:05:48] heavily guarded house inside the most heavily guarded fort inside the most heavily guarded town in their [2:05:52] capital city in the middle of the night and change the entire dynamic of that country and that region [2:05:57] and the world saw what the american military was capable to do but that doesn't happen unless the [2:06:02] commander-in-chief says you're authorized to do it and will take the handcuffs off when you do it [2:06:08] to ensure that americans come home the courage to undertake epic fury uh and and this iranian [2:06:13] regime and ensure they never have a nuclear weapon which remains your commitment and frankly the courage [2:06:19] to negotiate with people that have shown no willingness to do so honestly with incredible [2:06:24] negotiators who are the best in the world and give them every opportunity to do it uh give those [2:06:28] things up peacefully all of that takes guts but that comes on the back to the change in spirit of [2:06:34] our department you talk about spirit all the time and and your right to do so when you rip out dei when [2:06:40] you rip out social engineering and social justice and you put in merit and then you untie the hands [2:06:46] of commanders to be commanders to enforce discipline and accountability to get back to basics then you [2:06:52] get historic re-enlistment inside our ranks our best people mr president are staying because they want [2:06:57] to be in that kind of department and then historic recruitment record amongst young americans every [2:07:02] month our department breaks
