[1:57] 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. [2:15] Coming right here for all these jobs coming back, and I hear it all the time. [20:57] From all my connections at all the different auto plants around the Metro Detroit area, [21:02] jobs are coming back to America. [21:05] Harris was running against this guy when he ran for re-election. [21:13] She wanted to get rid of the internal combustion engine, [21:17] and crazy Sean Fain endorsed her. [21:23] So we've got to change the mindset. [21:26] We've got to build it. [21:27] If they want to sell in our market, they've got to build it in our market. [21:30] And that's what this guy told them. [21:32] So thank you, Mr. President. [21:34] It's because of you. [21:35] You saved our domestic auto industry. [21:38] Thank you. [22:34] You know, honestly, I don't know how you vote for Democrats because they are so bad for the industry. [22:41] But it turned out that all you really needed to get him back was a new president, somebody that understood business, understood what it was all about. [22:50] I've been complaining about I've been complaining about it for many years. [22:55] On day one, I ended Biden's insane electric vehicle mandate that would have crushed the U.S. auto industry forever, would have never come back. [23:03] Remember that? [23:05] Everybody was supposed to have an electric car within, you know, 15 minutes. [23:09] And I don't want to say this in front of Mary because she'll change your mind, but it takes far fewer people to build an electric car. [23:18] That doesn't mean they work better, but it takes. [23:21] And if you want an electric car, they make electric cars, too. [23:24] But if you want to buy a combustion, if you want to buy anything you want, they make. [23:28] We don't want to do that stuff. [23:30] But right now, we've been right on that bet. [23:32] I said, no, it's not going to happen that way. [23:34] I terminated Biden's disasters. [23:36] Cafe fuel standards. [23:38] You know what that is? [23:39] That was a short road to bankruptcy for every single car company in this country. [23:45] And a total disaster that would have killed the internal combustion engine. [23:49] They wanted it dead within five years. [23:51] As long as I'm president, that will never happen. [23:54] But it's really it's going in the opposite direction. [23:57] Remember, we have a thousand year supply of gasoline. [24:05] China doesn't. [24:06] China doesn't. [24:07] China doesn't. [24:08] We have a thousand years. [24:09] We have more gasoline. [24:10] We have more oil. [24:11] Now, when you add Venezuela to it, we really have more oil one day. [24:17] And Venezuela has been great. [24:20] They've been doing a great job. [24:21] We're working with them. [24:22] Take millions and millions of barrels of oil. [24:25] But they're doing well and we're doing well one day. [24:29] You know, a lot of people are against that war. [24:32] We don't want the vendors. [24:33] What are you doing? [24:34] What are you doing? [24:35] After we won in about 48 minutes approximately. [24:39] They said, oh, that was a good move. [24:41] Well, the same thing's happening in Iran. [24:42] People just don't see it. [24:45] We have destroyed their Navy. [24:47] We've destroyed their Air Force. [24:49] We've destroyed their leadership. [24:51] We've destroyed their anti-aircraft weaponry. [24:56] Their drones are being made at a rate of about 7%. [25:00] We destroyed most of their drone manufacturing capability. [25:04] Their missile manufacturing capability. [25:07] And right now they're talking to us about making a deal. [25:10] But if we didn't do it tough, there would be no talk. [25:13] You know, for 47 years, which is really 50 because people have been using 47 years for three years at least. [25:20] But for 47 to 50 years, they have been talking. [25:25] And all they do is tap everyone along. [25:27] They were the bully of the Middle East and they were the bully of us. [25:31] And Obama came along and gave them tens of billions of dollars. [25:35] He gave them 1.7 billion in green cash. [25:38] Remember that? [25:39] Put them on a Boeing 757, flew it to Tehran. [25:44] And 1.7 billion in green. [25:47] He thought he could bribe them. [25:49] And instead they thought, what a stupid country this is. [25:53] How stupid? [25:54] No, you can't bribe them. [25:56] You've got to beat them. [25:57] And we're beating the hell out of them. [25:58] But we'll see how it turns out. [26:02] Right now they have very friendly negotiations going on. [26:05] And by the way, how good is our Navy with a blockade? [26:09] Not one boat gets them. [26:12] We have a blockade. [26:13] They'd love us to, please, we don't want the blockade anymore. [26:16] They're saying, please, please, no blockade. [26:20] And I approve the single largest deregulatory action in American history, repealing what is known as the endangerment finding, which will save American families an average of almost $3,000 on new cars, SUVs and trucks. [26:34] What a difference. [26:35] And today I'm giving all American car companies the right to build what are known as tiny, [26:41] little, tiny cars. [26:42] You know what that is? [26:43] Because I go over to Europe and I see these little cars all over the place. [26:46] And I say, why aren't we making them? [26:48] Why aren't we making them? [26:49] They send some over. [26:50] But Sean Duffy, the Secretary of Transportation, has just cleared it. [26:55] I was with him on the plane. [26:57] I said, Sean, did you clear that? [26:59] No, sir, not yet. [27:00] I want it done now. [27:01] Oh, it's done. [27:02] He knows what that is. [27:03] He's very smart. [27:04] He's a very smart guy. [27:05] No, but you're all cleared, Sean. [27:07] So your company, Mary, if you want, I mean, you have a choice. [27:12] It's a tiny, little, beautiful little car. [27:14] I'm not sure I want to get hit by one of your Silverados, okay, or one of your Cadillacs, [27:20] but you'll make them as safe as possible, right? [27:23] You put a cocoon. [27:24] You put a little cocoon around them. [27:26] See, I would have been a wonderful automobile designer. [27:29] But you have the right to do it. [27:31] And they sell, you know, inexpensively. [27:33] They're actually beautiful. [27:34] I don't know if I'm going to be using one. [27:36] I'm not sure if Secret Service would love me driving around in one. [27:41] But there's a tremendous market for it, I think. [27:44] It really is a tremendous market. [27:46] They are quite something. [27:47] And thanks to our Republican majorities in Congress, we also made interest on auto loans [27:53] fully tax deductible, but only if the car is made in America. [27:58] If it's not made in America, if it's not made in America, we have no interest in doing that. [28:06] And I apologize for the air conditioning, but this room was not built for thousands of people. [28:11] This room was built for a few people making cars, not for thousands of people. [28:16] And it is a little warm up here. [28:19] But I love that because every time I make a speech, I lose weight. [28:22] It's wonderful. [28:23] It's a wonderful way to lose weight. [28:25] Under our leadership, investment is booming, incomes are rising, and the stock market has 73 all-time highs. [28:34] Think of that. [28:35] In a year and a half, we've had an all-time high. [28:38] And your 401Ks are up by $32,000 and more in just a year. [28:49] And one statistic that I say because, you know, the fake news, the reason they're fake news, they're terrible, terrible people in many cases. [28:55] Not in all cases. [28:56] You have some professionals, but they refuse to say there are more Americans working today in the United States of America than at any time in history. [29:05] How about that? [29:06] That, to me, that's a stat that's hard to beat. [29:11] And it was just announced that inflation is dropping at the fastest rate in more than six years. [29:17] We're dropping. [29:18] You know, I inherited this mess. [29:20] I inherited an open border where millions, 25 million people came in. [29:25] Many of these people were criminals, murderers, people from jails, people from mental institutions. [29:30] I inherited that. [29:31] We've got a lot of them out, and we're getting a lot of them out. [29:34] We have 11,888 are murderers, many of whom, they say more than 50% of whom killed more than one person. [29:46] We don't want them in this country. [29:48] They allowed them to come in through the stupid open border. [29:51] They came in like water. [29:53] You've seen it. [29:55] And right now, it was just announced, again, this is now the 15th month in a row, zero people have come through our border illegally. [30:05] Zero. [30:06] But it all started. [30:13] You know, I won the election. [30:14] We won in a landslide, by the way, and won this state so big. [30:17] You know, there's always a hard state. [30:19] I don't know why it's hard to win, but it seems to be for Republicans, but it probably won't be anymore. [30:23] We have great candidates. [30:25] But, you know, it's really amazing. [30:28] They always try and blame me for high prices. [30:30] I have my first news conference. [30:33] I went, I have a news conference like a day later, and I say, any questions? [30:37] Why are prices so high? [30:39] You have to understand, I just got there. [30:43] They say, eggs. [30:44] I remember eggs. [30:45] Eggs were like four or five times higher than they were a few years ago. [30:49] You couldn't get eggs. [30:50] They wanted me to use plastic eggs for the Easter egg hunt because they were unable to get eggs. [30:57] And I said, we'll take care of it. [30:59] We got it taken care of quickly. [31:00] Now eggs are much lower than they were when we first started. [31:03] And that's true with everything else. [31:05] And you'll see how true it's going to be after we get rid of the nuclear threat of Iran, which will be very quickly. [31:12] But I had nothing to do with it. [31:17] You know, they have this term. [31:19] So here I am. [31:20] I'm one day in office, and the fake news goes, affordability, affordability. [31:27] I said, what's affordability? [31:29] What's that all about? [31:30] Prices are too high. [31:32] I said, I'm here for less than 24 hours. [31:35] But we've brought down prices. [31:37] Last week it was announced that inflation's gone down faster than at any time in the last six years. [31:45] When the fuel comes down, which it did for a little while, then they didn't behave, and I had to go back, and now they're behaving again. [31:52] You know, it's like playing a banjo. [31:54] But every day we're fighting to put more money in your pockets, and that's what we're doing, and we're doing it better than anyone at the same time. [32:01] But at the same time, we're making this country safe. [32:04] Because we're not going to let lunatics have a nuclear weapon. [32:09] You want to see disruption? [32:12] You want to see some disruption? [32:14] But with the help of our Republican majorities in Congress, I proudly signed the largest tax cuts in American history for the second time. [32:22] Because in my first term, we had the greatest economy in the history of our country. [32:28] We got hit with COVID at the end, and we did a great job in that. [32:32] Operation Warp Speed and the whole thing. [32:34] We did a great job. [32:35] Didn't get credit, but that's okay. [32:37] But we had the greatest economy in the history of the country, and we're blowing it away this time. [32:42] We're blowing it away. [32:43] You're going to see the results very soon. [32:45] I'm a little bit upset because in two and a half years, you may have a different president. [32:50] May. [32:51] And that president will be saying how great the economy is doing. [32:57] Look at all the jobs that he produced. [32:59] We have more factories being built than at any time in our country's history. [33:04] They're all going to be opening now and soon. [33:07] And I got some guy or woman who is going to take credit for that. [33:13] Will you please remember that I did it, okay? [33:16] I did it. [33:17] I did it. [33:18] I'll be sitting home. [33:21] I'll be reading the papers. [33:23] I'll be watching television. [33:25] And I'll be having some guy like last time, a real idiot, stand up and say, we are doing record business. [33:33] We are making more automobiles. [33:35] But by the way, don't worry about it, Mary. [33:36] They'll screw it up. [33:37] It won't take them long to screw it up. [33:40] But we're not going to let that happen. [33:41] Our great, big, beautiful bill gave us no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our great seniors, right? [33:51] That's our big deal. [33:54] And the overtime you're working, and I don't know much, but I know you're making a lot of cars, more than you've ever made before. [33:59] I assume, are they getting a little overtime, Mary? [34:02] Huh? [34:04] She doesn't want to say. [34:05] I know you are. [34:07] No tax on that overtime. [34:09] Think of the no tax on tips in Nevada. [34:11] I went and a young lady came over, a beautiful waitress. [34:14] She was a waitress and very beautiful, but I'm not allowed to say that politically. [34:18] Because if you call somebody beautiful, that's usually the end of your political career. [34:23] But she happened to be beautiful. [34:26] But she happened to be beautiful. [34:28] And I say, what's going on, sir? [34:30] I'm getting killed with tips. [34:32] I'm getting killed. [34:33] Sir, there should be no tax on tips. [34:35] I say, what? [34:36] I'm sitting down with a group of people, very boring group. [34:40] We're all bored. [34:41] At my hotel in Las Vegas, and she comes up and she says, sir, there should be no tax on tips. [34:46] I say, say it one more time. [34:48] And I went outside and I spoke to the fake news. [34:52] They follow me all over the world looking for me to make one little mistake. [34:55] If I make one little mistake, if I mispronounce a word, which doesn't happen often. [35:00] If I fell, oh, they're waiting. [35:02] They would love to. [35:03] Because I knock. [35:05] You know, you can't fall every single time you come up on a dais like Biden did. [35:09] Oh, if I slipped even a little bit, there would be headlines all over the world. [35:14] So I'm very careful, very judicious as I walk down the airline seat. [35:20] You're way the hell up in the sky. [35:22] I go nice and slowly. [35:25] We don't want to give them, but it's true. [35:27] It's like what they do. [35:28] I mean, it's so unfair. [35:31] But they know how well we're doing. [35:33] And now they're starting to report it because they have no choice. [35:36] Every record that's being broken, all these records that are coming out. [35:40] Not only in your business, we're leading in AI. [35:43] We're beating China in AI. [35:44] Nobody expected that. [35:46] We're building more plants than anybody in the world. [35:50] And frankly, the businesses are all moving. [35:52] You know, many of these businesses, they left here and they went to foreign countries. [35:55] They went to Germany. [35:56] They went to Mexico and Canada. [35:59] They went to Japan. [36:00] They went to South Korea. [36:01] Car businesses. [36:02] A lot of businesses. [36:03] And now they're coming back home where they belong. [36:06] And according to a report released just last week, the Great Big Beautiful Bill saved more than 170,000 Michigan jobs. [36:15] You saw that. [36:16] Think of that. [36:17] Think of that. [36:18] If you took 170,000 people off of your taxpaying payrolls, think of how many people that is filling a big stadium up three times. [36:34] But remember every single Democrat. [36:36] It's a new word that I use, Democrat. [36:38] They just exchanged the E for the U. [36:40] It works out quite nicely. [36:41] Thank you. [36:42] But they're Democrats. [36:44] They want open borders. [36:46] They want men playing in women's sports. [36:48] They want transgender mutilization of your children. [36:52] They want the transgender mutilization of your children for everyone. [36:58] So I call them Democrats. [36:59] And the Democrats don't want to have voter ID. [37:03] And the Democrats do not, Brian, you know this. [37:07] They don't want to have a thing called proof of citizenship. [37:11] So why doesn't somebody want voter ID or proof of citizenship? [37:25] If that ever gets approved, they will never get elected again. [37:28] But every single Democrat in Congress voted against our massive tax cuts for working families. [37:34] All of the things – no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security – all of these things they voted against. [37:41] They just voted against. [37:43] They voted against voter ID. [37:45] They voted in favor of the transgender mutilization of your children, in favor of men playing in women's sports. [37:53] I've looked at men playing in women's sports. [37:56] It's very unfair. [37:58] I had a top, top – one of the top NFL football players standing next to a wonderful female athlete. [38:05] And they were playing a game of football, if you can believe this whole thing. [38:09] This game did not work out very well. [38:12] Well, this was not a game that you will ever want to play again, I will tell you. [38:16] The whole thing is crazy. [38:18] There's something wrong. [38:19] These people are crazy. [38:22] And we can't let them get into office and ruin our country. [38:28] We can't do it. [38:30] And the congressional Democrats voting for tax sites. [38:38] They're voting for open borders. [38:40] The Green News scam – remember the Green News scam? [38:44] Everything had to be green, green. [38:46] The world is going to collapse. [38:47] It's going to be gone. [38:48] Fifteen years ago, they were saying we only had 12 years left, but we're still here. [38:52] But they're siding with the radical left communists taking over the party. [40:09] We have good years, bad years. [40:10] We're having the single greatest year we've ever had as a country. [40:14] We're not going to let these people destroy it. [40:17] And you know the other thing? [40:23] I'm just thinking now – you know I do a lot of these speeches and I end up reading about 20%. [40:28] Isn't it nice to know that you have somebody that doesn't have to read a speech? [40:31] And it's even better to know that you have somebody that can read a speech if he wants to. [40:36] The other guy couldn't even read his speech. [40:38] But I'm just thinking about it. [40:39] This is maybe going to make news because I've never said it. [40:41] I'm just thinking about it now. [40:42] When they take something over, it's always dirty. [40:47] The sidewalks are dirty. [40:50] The people are – I hate to say this – not clean, okay? [41:08] We don't have problems with the Republican-run cities, I mean for the most part. [41:12] But they're dirty. [41:15] I said to somebody about a certain city – I don't want to say the name of it, but it's run by the radical left. [41:21] I said, how is it doing? [41:24] Because I love it. [41:25] And they said it's filthy dirty. [41:28] It's so dirty. [41:29] They've never seen it like that. [41:30] It's so filthy dirty. [41:32] And I just thought of it. [41:34] Nobody ever says that. [41:45] Graffiti all over the place. [41:47] We fixed up 72 monuments and fountains. [41:50] And we've done an unbelievable – we took the graffiti off the beautiful marble columns. [41:54] We have new grass going down. [41:56] But you know what we did the best? [41:59] We stopped crime in Washington. [42:01] It's down 88%. [42:02] And we moved out over 5,000 career animals. [42:07] We moved them out. [42:08] And it's really considered a very safe city. [42:10] All the restaurants were closing up. [42:12] Nobody wanted to operate a restaurant. [42:14] We have a great restaurant here. [42:15] Ron. [42:16] Where are you from? [42:17] Michigan. [42:18] Where's my restaurateur? [42:19] He was one of the great – where's Mark? [42:22] Mark. [42:33] And I'm just saying, they take over. [42:35] Everything becomes disgusting and dirty. [42:37] It's dirty and filthy and grimy. [42:39] It's not clean anymore. [42:41] Look at Washington D.C., what I've done in a short period of time, working with the Department [42:47] of Interior, Doug Burgum and the whole group, we have done some job. [42:51] We've taken graffiti-filled statues all over the city and monuments and waterfalls and everything. [43:01] The beautiful reflecting pond where we get – I mean, we did some job. [43:05] Somebody comes along and starts cutting it with a knife. [43:08] They're sick. [43:10] But it's in the hospital now, but it's going to get better very soon. [43:14] It's almost ready to open. [43:16] We could have kept it that way for a while, but I didn't want to do that. [43:19] I wanted to get – I want to have it fixed perfectly. [43:21] But these people are very terrible. [43:23] But think how beautiful Washington D.C. is. [43:26] But the most important thing is we have very little crime. [43:28] And there's a statistic that's incredible. [43:32] 2% of the people create 91% of the crime. [43:36] Because you can handle 2% of the people. [43:39] We get them out. [43:40] We get them out. [43:41] And our military, our National Guard has been unbelievable. [43:44] And they work with the D.C. police. [43:46] But they've been unbelievable. [43:49] So I just want to thank them. [43:51] But Washington D.C. is now, again – and it's going to get only better. [43:55] It's going to get all new grass. [43:56] The parks are getting all new grass. [43:58] I have a man who's a fantastic man, one of the biggest grass growers. [44:02] I know everybody. [44:03] I know grass growers. [44:04] But he's actually a very rich guy. [44:06] He wants to fix up the parks, all brand-new grass. [44:09] We're going to do our job. [44:10] He gave us – he donated the grass for the White House. [44:12] We're building a heliport. [44:15] And we're building a drone port. [44:16] And we're building a great ballroom and a military facility as part of it. [44:21] And it's incredible. [44:22] And people cannot believe how it looks. [44:24] Washington D.C., think of it, is now a really safe city. [44:28] And it's so beautiful again. [44:30] And people are proud of it. [44:31] It's our capital. [44:32] They have to be proud of it. [44:34] It was a crime-ridden mess. [44:36] And the other thing, I got a call from the governor of Louisiana. [44:45] And he said, sir, we have Mardi Gras coming up in New Orleans. [44:49] Could you please help us? [44:50] We are such a disaster. [44:51] The crime is so bad. [44:53] And they've had a lot of problems with crime. [44:55] And I sent our team in there and called me back. [44:59] He said, you know, crime is down almost 80%. [45:03] Think of that, almost 80%. [45:05] This was eight months ago. [45:07] And they had the safest Mardi Gras they've ever had. [45:12] And in Memphis, Tennessee, the governor called. [45:14] And the mayor called. [45:15] The Democrat mayor called. [45:17] They need help. [45:18] And Memphis was very, very dangerous. [45:20] Companies were leaving. [45:21] Too much danger. [45:22] It was really dangerous. [45:23] You couldn't walk down the street. [45:25] And now crime there is down 77% and it's getting better all the time. [45:30] And if they do that in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, we would take care of it so quickly. [45:34] But we have to get called. [45:36] I want them to call us. [45:37] I don't want to say, I don't want to. [45:39] They're running it. [45:40] I want them to call us and we will get rid of the crime so quickly. [45:43] Your head will spin. [58:49] We have the strongest military anywhere in the world by far. [58:52] We have the greatest people. [58:53] We have the best equipment in the world. [58:55] I built it during my first term. [1:00:57] We were the highest priced for decades, the highest priced in the world for drugs, prescription drugs. [1:01:05] And now we're the lowest priced in the world.
