[0:00] hi everybody um a reminder to ask raise your hand if you'd like to ask a question
[0:05] i'll start with questions in english i know that congratulations uh you're renowned for being
[0:12] meticulous with your conditioning so what's your thoughts over your career how have you
[0:16] tried to integrate recovery technology into your routines and what do you find works best for you
[0:21] now um well i i think that the amount of time i spend recovering nowadays is more than i have
[0:32] ever done um it's just the demands of the body nowadays uh more wear and tear um can't say i
[0:41] always enjoy it you know it takes away a lot of the time but it is it's a part of the part of the
[0:47] process and adjustment to the the body changes i guess in the late years last several years but
[0:56] throughout my career you know i always try to look what's what what can give me an edge you know what's
[1:01] the the best uh recovery wellness technology out there you know from hyperbaric chambers to cryo
[1:08] chambers to you know cold immersions to red light therapy to pulse electromagnetic therapies to you
[1:17] know there's a lot of things that i have used and i've been using and still using um so yeah i mean i i
[1:25] like that you know i think sometimes less is more as well so you just kind of have to feel what really
[1:32] works for you charlie well done um record-breaking win today i just wondered when you look back what's
[1:40] the win here that gives you the most satisfaction or pleasure uh to be honest um i haven't felt really
[1:50] great on the court um so i was just relieved to get out of it and get a win so uh satisfaction and
[1:58] enjoyment was not part of today's win to be honest uh of course i'm relieved and happy to to win it but
[2:06] i haven't enjoyed so hopefully the next match will be better in that sense first of all can i just ask
[2:16] for your reaction to that i don't think anybody can you speak louder sorry i can't hear you congratulations
[2:22] on the record firstly can i ask you for your reaction to to surpassing roger then also how much he now driven to
[2:29] to equal his number of titles here at wimbledon uh not on my priority list to be honest i haven't
[2:36] thought about it didn't even know about it until the last um after the last match's win so it's really
[2:45] quite insignificant to me at the moment can i just ask you to elaborate a bit more if you can on not
[2:53] feeling great on the court today is that physical is actually your game no i just i think the game no
[2:58] not physical was kind of okay but just game wise i didn't enjoy my tennis and um it's also due to him
[3:06] putting putting a lot of pressure on me and uh playing well so i i kind of you know struggled to
[3:12] to find the game desired level and the game that i'm looking for that i had i think in the second round
[3:18] particularly um but you know win is a win even if you win ugly and uh hopefully i can build from this
[3:27] you've reached that stage so many times in grand slam i'm just curious if you tend to compare and be
[3:37] like oh well last time i felt like this then this happened is it something that happens when you
[3:42] you look at the last stretch um well i've been fortunate to to play many matches on the high stage
[3:51] um of of grand slams but my memory is not really good these days um and i i can't right now you're
[4:00] asking me i'm trying to think about uh what grand slams i had similar experience and then ended up
[4:08] winning i mean there's been definitely more than few where you go through a difficult match or two at
[4:16] least you know uh on your path to to win a championship um so it's it's of course you know
[4:23] i'm i'm a perfectionist you know at core and i always want the best game the best performance
[4:31] for myself and for others and the crowd um but you know it's it's it's not always possible and sometimes
[4:38] it's hard for me to accept that and deal with it but you know it's always kind of like that fresh off
[4:43] the court uh need to just move on and and obviously learn and be better be better next time you mentioned
[4:51] on the court that there was a few meltdowns uh how do the um sorry how much does that help fire you up
[4:57] and does do you think that it helps to elevate your game at all well i mean sometimes it helps kind of
[5:04] just filter things that are building inside you know um but you know not something i'm proud of when
[5:11] when you know i get warning or something like that i have a meltdown not something i i i'm looking for
[5:17] for sure but when it happens it happens you know you just try to eliminate it and not think about
[5:23] it too long and move on to the next next point and next task at hand congratulations on the win i'd
[5:32] just like to ask you about the battle with rome did you enjoy it today despite uh everything going on
[5:39] well i i i enjoy the battle i enjoy the suffering in a sense you know to some extent even though i don't
[5:45] want it i don't invite it but if it happens you just have to grind and look for way to win and that's
[5:52] kind of what what i did today again and um against in another inspired opponent that played really
[6:00] really high high level tennis so i just i'm happy in that sense that you know i managed to find a way
[6:06] to win because that's the end result that i'm always looking for thank you we'll move on to thank you
