[0:01] Hey guys, Corey you got anything? What did you make of the defensive tackling tonight? Tackling wasn't [0:08] good enough not against this team you know we knew coming in certainly tackling on Thursday night but [0:13] against this team whether it's Swift you know Burden the quarterback it you know just leads to [0:24] extra yards and conversions and but you know we fought and but I would say that we need to turn [0:31] the ball over and we have to tackle better and those are those are fundamental skills and [0:35] but I like the way they competed and you know we certainly gave ourselves a chance it wasn't a [0:43] great one but but it was enough like two teams like that how fine that edge is that you know one [0:48] turn yeah it's a thin margin you know thin margin when you play good good teams and you know we did [0:54] some good things and but again just uh didn't do enough you know we didn't get enough stops in the [1:02] red zone and we didn't you know convert our red zone opportunity the one time so that's probably [1:08] the difference in the game do you feel like all the injuries that you have a cornerback right now [1:12] are kind of catching up to the secondary points tonight well I mean I'm not going to say that I'm [1:19] just we knew who was going to play we knew who we had coming in and whenever the guys that are out [1:26] are available then we'll see where they fit and see how they can help us I mean he gave us a chance he [1:35] competed and I know he'd like to have that throwback to to Eli but you know I thought he really competed and [1:42] whether that was running around and scrambling and finding you know good places to go with football [1:51] gave us a chance you know I know he'd like to have that one back and he'll learn from it like [1:56] he always does and you know I'm glad he's ours what adjustment did you make offensively just the guys [2:07] I think we just started playing a little bit better connected when you know we protected when they [2:12] pressured I thought that was a huge key for us as they continue to pressure and put a lot of guys on [2:18] a line of scrimmage our ability to pick it up and you know hit some hit some chunk plays was [2:24] was really the reason we were you know in it there in the second half I know it might be tough right [2:28] after the game with Luther Burden's day how much of that was good play design and how much of that was [2:33] maybe not the best execution on your side both and I mean I don't that's not fair for me to answer [2:41] that question that's usually good scheme and you know a guy making a play or certainly we didn't do a [2:48] good enough job so I would say it's a combination of all those what percentage of that I can't tell [2:53] you and we're gonna have to tackle those guys better can you explain them how the process worked [2:59] on the challenge flag that you threw to say get Drake's touchdown yeah I mean just thought he had [3:06] a good view and said throw it so so we threw it and for the record I you know I mean we we told Corey [3:14] to jump offsides and third and six inches or whatever it was so we felt like that was going to be the best [3:21] way to to get him stopped so that that's all me and our guys executed and then you know Cairo made [3:30] a huge kick like is that one of those things where you make that play you get in the position where [3:35] you want to be and they make a 58 yard field goal or Kiela makes a big throw that's just one of those [3:40] things where they may be out executed you guys down the stretch yeah I mean make a 58 yard field goal [3:47] like I think the last field goal Cairo missed was when he kicked for the titans so I don't think he's [3:52] kicked since missed one since then he's I missed one earlier in the game but we always joke about [3:56] it I'm really proud of what he's done I mean he's fortunately I didn't want him to make it tonight [4:02] but from a guy that we coached and you know Caleb's gonna make some plays and yeah I don't know how you [4:10] get out and executed when a guy makes you know 58 yard field goal but we executed well at times and [4:18] didn't get the drive stopped enough what do you make of the the offensive productivity overall [4:23] particularly when it comes to establishing the run well the offensive productivity is [4:29] we didn't run the ball well enough but moved it however we needed to move it which you know [4:36] sometimes you're going to have days like that I thought we'd be able to run it a little better [4:41] we didn't but then our best players was putting the ball in good spots most of the time and making [4:48] good decisions so you know that's how it goes we'd like to run the ball a little better but didn't happen [4:55] tonight you didn't see Trevon Henderson first stretch of the game was that just game flow injuries [5:02] yeah I mean it's just we had some things for him packages or personnel groupings and you know [5:09] Trevion will help us and you know but I wanted to see where we were and with with Corey getting a [5:15] couple carries too and but Trevion will help us plenty here down the stretch and helped us a little bit [5:24] tonight you thought of the John Walter and Matt did the offensive line stuff well I mean again I think [5:31] the protection you know I mean I'm sure it could have been better we'd and we just had some critical [5:35] penalties I mean being able to handle the environment third and short whatever it may have been and [5:44] those are certainly unfortunate that's that's just beating ourselves so but I think you know [5:50] I mean I don't I'm sure they played okay I'm sure they played hard without seeing it though [5:56] it's hard to say but I I know they competed did you get a look at the first place no what'd you [6:05] think didn't look like he was moving but might not have been set sure if that was what they were [6:11] calling there I'm not in very good favor with the officiating departments I probably shouldn't say [6:19] anything
