chris clump thanks [17:44] chris great job you're doing chris wherever you may be sir for decades americans have been forced [17:51] to pay the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs by far prices that were [17:57] many many times what the rest of the world was paying because we had a president that didn't [18:02] know what they were doing or they weren't able to get other countries to agree to it i was able [18:07] to do that because i used tariffs i said if you don't agree to it we're going to put tariffs in your [18:12] country and they said that we would be honored to do it sir after telling everybody no including me [18:18] but they agreed to do it the united states is just four percent of the world's population and consumers [18:25] only 13 percent of all prescription drugs yet pharmaceutical companies have been making 75 [18:31] of their profits from american customers so think of that with four percent of the population and doing [18:38] only 13 of all prescription drugs the companies make 75 made i don't know maybe hopefully they [18:46] continue because actually it's not as bad for them as it sounds in fact many of their stocks are up [18:52] because actually when the price goes up on the one end they make up for the price coming down in the [18:58] united states so it really worked out pretty good to address this chronic unfairness i signed an executive [19:04] order instructing my administration to do everything in our power to slash prescription drug prices [19:10] for americans while getting other countries to pay more in many cases much more but their other [19:17] prices doubled and sometimes they tripled and ours would go down by 60 70 80 percent even more today [19:24] we're building on our unprecedented success with regeneron committing to offer all new drugs moving [19:31] forward at most favored nations prices they'll make their current drugs available to medicaid and mfn [19:40] its most favored nation additionally they'll also offer their current drug praluit which is uh the [19:49] lower cholesterol and fight heart disease to all consumers at dramatically lower costs it'll [19:55] come down from 537 to 225 dollars and be available at trump rx.gov i didn't put the name bobby did and [20:05] oz did it's true actually remember i came in i said what's this what they said it'll be better it'll sell [20:14] better would you help us so i now have my name on medication but it's doing great i hear it's setting [20:22] records actually i was watching the other day and uh mark cuban of all people said uh it's amazing what [20:31] trump has done with this i can't believe when i heard him say that i was sort of in a state of shock [20:36] but others have said it too this whole thing is it's turned out to be hot so that's trump rx [20:42] dot gov the company will also invest 27 billion dollars to build up research and development for [20:48] and pharmaceutical manufacturing here in america which is a big thank you very much today i'm also [20:55] announcing that the fta has just approved a new drug from regeneron called otarmany a gene therapy [21:03] curing a rare disease that causes deafness people are totally deaf and it's amazing i've seen some [21:12] work on it it's actually hard to believe we're going to talk about it in a minute normally cures for [21:17] rare diseases can cost millions of dollars and really the results aren't that good but in this case i'm [21:25] pleased to say that regeneron will be giving this away for free for a period of time for free and here [21:32] with us is two-year-old travis smith he was born deaf was he totally deaf pretty much this is a hundred [21:40] percent he was a hundred percent there but he took this miracle cure and now he can hear his mom sierra [21:47] say i love you and sierra could you maybe uh say a few words that's really incredible it's absolutely [21:55] incredible regeneron works miracles um yeah he didn't know his name he couldn't hear me tell him [22:03] how much i love him and now with regeneron and this amazing surgery he can listen to music and he loves [22:09] it and he loves to dance and tell me what he wants or what he wants to eat [23:12] or what he needs and now he'll be able to do that wow it's life-changing that's a great job they've [23:18] done i want to thank regeneron and [23:42] to as low as 199 a month so that's a uh price that's incredible so it used to sell in london for 87 [23:52] and they raised it to 199 which is a big raise if you you know from 87 to 199 but that's been going on [24:01] that our country has been being ripped off for 30 years how long would you say dutch like 30 40 years [24:06] for years with drugs and drug prices so they're going up we're going way down and because the [24:14] world is a bigger place than we are believe it or not it's hard to believe that but they are [24:19] that we go down much more than they go up so they don't go up as much as people would have thought so [24:24] they're going from uh they're going to 199 and we're going down all the way down think of that we're [24:31] going down from one thousand three hundred and fifty dollars a month to 199 that's nobody would [24:39] believe it and this is true with all i mean this is the weight loss drug but uh this is true with [24:46] all drugs sometimes even more of a difference than that sometimes a little bit less but sometimes [24:52] substantially more than even that difference and you see what that is so we cut the per cycle cost of [24:58] ivf drugs by thousands of dollars and we reduced the price of the major copd medication from [25:05] 458 dollars to 50 dollars what that must be a typo is that a typo from 458 [25:17] dollars to 50 of dollars if your boy was here he'd go wow he left he got bored i think he wants to go [25:26] into bigger and better things there but there's nothing bigger or better than this they'll all be [25:30] available right now at trump rx.gov so it's you know that's why it's doing well it's not doing well [25:36] for other reasons it's doing well think of that that's some discount but we have others and these are [25:41] all top companies and top medications and i think in the end we're going to have every company involved we're [25:47] almost there right now but we're going to have every company around so trump rx has already received [25:52] more than 15 million visitors and every american should log on to check for massive discounts before [25:58] they go to the pharmacy it's setting a record nobody's ever seen anything like this i've actually [26:03] had many companies i shouldn't tell you this bobby but there have been many companies say sir we'd like [26:08] to buy from you if you could what trump rx.com i said it's not for sale it's not me it's the government [26:14] the government owns it i don't own it but they're all impressed these pharmaceutical companies they [26:19] said they've never seen anything like this so it's fantastic now i'd like to ask secretary kennedy [26:25] to save you a few words and then we'll have dr raz the team at regeneron and sierra and uh sierra [26:33] i'm so happy for you and chris chris clump has been unbelievable a real star you don't know his name [26:38] as much as some of the others but uh he's a real star of the group so uh bobby please thank you [26:46] thank you mr president i was reminded when the president was speaking of a conversation that i [26:52] had yesterday with one of the democratic senators who was questioning me during the hearing and she [26:58] was ridiculing president trump for his math and she was saying it's mathematically impossible to have a [27:05] drug drop by 600 percent cost which he had claimed and i said well if the drug was a hundred dollars [27:13] and it raised the price to six hundred dollars that would be a six hundred percent rise if it drops [27:19] from 600 to 100 that's a 600 percent savings and the president used that mathematical device [27:28] to illustrate the magnitude of the theft that has been happening against our country and our people as he [27:35] said we have four point two percent of the world's population we take 13 of the pharmaceutical drugs [27:43] we spend 80 percent of the biotechnology research in our country and we provide 75 of the profits to [27:51] the pharmaceutical industry this is a ripoff that has irked him for 20 years during his first term [28:00] he held the line on drug prices for the first time in history he came back on this term and he said [28:06] we're going to lower him this time no matter what there's people in this room or a part of the white [28:11] house staff who said we can't do that uh oz and i said we probably can't do that but he harassed us we [28:19] were beleaguered it was like fort apache dr oz would not uh answer his phone because he was calling all [28:28] night long with the president on the line saying get this done and we brought in this amazing superstar [28:34] chris club and he negotiated these these agreements that people said were impossible i want to thank [28:43] him for his leadership chris and i wanted to have george and lynn who are the co-founders of this [28:49] country this company of regeneron their generosity their idealism their love of this country and their [28:56] compassion for these children over injuries thank you thank you amazing it's it is amazing you're right [29:02] i took a lot of heat and say 500 600 but we also say sometimes 50 percent 60 percent different kind [29:10] of calculation 70 80 and 90 and people understand that better but there are two ways of calculating it [29:17] but uh either way it doesn't make any difference whether it's 60 70 or 80 nobody's ever heard of it [29:24] but it's also 500 600 700 depending on the way you want to look at it so the way the way you word the [29:30] calculation it's either way but uh bobby you're doing a fantastic job we wanted somebody out of [29:37] the box and we got him right i would say we got him in bobby he's the great guy actually so uh oz how [29:44] about saying a few words please so this has been an unprecedented process the president insisted we deal [29:51] with one critical number you should all remember which is that one in three americans when they go to [29:54] the drugstore after they've seen a doctor will often leave empty-handed because they cannot afford the [29:59] medications they're picking up so affordability was the main word the president would use in many of [30:04] those phone calls he wanted to be done fairly if we created a partnership with the pharmaceutical industry [30:10] that was remarkable and that it pushed 17 massive companies into the fold to try to do deals again [30:18] unprecedented that would allow us to claim that they were giving the most favored nation pricing to [30:23] this country to the american people the president would not take no for an answer we got 16 companies in [30:29] but not the 17th how many times do you think we spoke about the 17th company too much 17 he said 17 [30:36] he wanted to be 17 whatever math you want to make 16 is not 17. there's a reason that the 17th company [30:41] was delayed it's why they're here today it's that beautiful young boy you saw earlier when you can [30:46] save a child's hearing and mr president we talked about a lot of numbers secretary kennedy quoted 100 you [30:50] know 100 percent 600 percent it's hard to beat free free is the best price and that's the starting price [30:56] with the president oftentimes and that's what this wonderful company's agreed to i want to applaud trump [31:02] rx.gov a remarkable site created by joe jebbia ed korsstein has done a wonderful job with zero glitches [31:09] serving more than 10 million individual unique americans so far and mr president it's the fastest [31:14] website i've ever seen people love it because it works well there's all kinds of additional uh elements [31:20] being added to it which we'll be talking about but this website as the president said must be [31:24] checked must be checked if you're going to buy a medication to make sure your price is the right [31:29] price it's a transparency site that is more rigorous than anything that i have seen and mr president your [31:34] name is attached to it and of course that brings a tremendous amount of uh attention to it we wanted [31:38] it to be perfect and the team that did that has accomplished that exactly i want to work and what i keep hearing for the [31:52] pharmaceutical industry maybe my colleagues can address it in your comments they never expected [31:56] to have a counterparty as qualified in the federal government if you're thinking of serving your [32:01] nation this is the right time to do it this is the right administration to serve him because the [32:04] president makes it easy to do the right undertake much harder than getting to the moon not that we don't like that but much [34:05] harder than even getting to mars or making the next generation of cell phones or electric cars hard [34:11] stood in this office and president trump [41:27] standing with albert borla from pfizer announced the first of the 17 mfn deals together with our [41:32] colleagues from the department of commerce under secretary latnik's leadership and from the u.s trade [41:37] rather president's office under the leadership of ambassador greer we negotiated a landmark agreement [41:42] with the government united kingdom in which they agreed to increase significantly the amount that [41:47] they spent on branded pharmaceuticals for the first time in 26 years that work continues with other [41:52] countries and third we will continue our work with our partners in congress to codify the principles [42:00] that underpin these most favored nation deals so that these savings for american families [42:05] and this innovation that is unleashed at the same time persists for decades to come so that the one [42:11] in three or four families that dr oz mentioned standing at a pharmaceutical counter rescheduling while we're here and just say what you're doing and [42:56] the progress that you've made great well mr president today is another [43:00] promise made promise kept day on december 18th you signed an executive order on increasing [43:07] medical marijuana and cannabidiol research and today we delivered on that promise the acting [43:12] attorney general this morning signed an order that moves into schedule three medical marijuana products [43:18] that are fda approved or that are state licensed this is a giant move forward to implement your promise [43:23] and it's actually a campaign promise that you made you said where you're going to move into schedule [43:27] three to increase the research on these medical products and just wanted everyone to know that [43:33] one you make promises you keep them and two what does schedule three mean for state licensed medical [43:38] marijuana products we will begin implementation right away of this order it does not legalize [43:44] marijuana it makes it it makes it easy for the researchers to actually study and understand [43:51] medical marijuana especially in populations that are using it we know that one in ten seniors right now [43:56] used used medical marijuana in the past year and they report that it really helps them but we don't [44:01] have the science or the understanding to guide the patients and the doctors and so both patients and [44:06] doctors are flying blind without knowing how they interact with other medications because the research has [44:11] been difficult to do and so your promise today says those state licensed medical marijuana products are now in [44:16] schedule three and we expect the research to significantly increase so that we can understand how to guide patients and [44:22] doctors um in this effort and there will be additional actions that will come this summer to do an expedited [44:27] hearing for the administrative um an administrative hearing department of justice for um all of marijuana [44:34] to move into schedule three and the military is very happy about it and a lot of people suffering from [44:40] big problems which this seems to be the best answer they're very happy about it so the rescheduling is [44:45] starting and that's a big thing rescheduling they kept saying what about the rescheduling and so great [44:51] job i appreciate it i want to thank mr and mrs howard kessler he's one of the most successful men in the [44:59] world actually and he had some medical difficulties and he came upon this by accident in a way and he said [45:08] wow he had to go through a lot of different uh a lot of different medications and he said this was the [45:14] one that was much better than anything else and so he experienced that he didn't benefit by it other [45:20] than from the standpoint that he lives a much better life now so uh hopefully you don't need it but if [45:27] you do need it i hear it's i hear it's the best of all the alternatives but i want to thank howard kessler [45:33] and michelle kessler they really pushed this very hard these are two people very straight arrows they're not [45:40] into marijuana they're not into anything but he found this answer and he said for the he's doing [45:47] it for other people and so howard and michelle probably they're watching or they'll be hearing [45:52] about it but they work very hard to get this done and it's an honor and you've done fantastically you [45:58] all have and i appreciate it and a man who's doing an excellent job is howard letnik is in a little [46:04] different sphere he's not in the medical sphere but he knows what it all means and from commerce he's [46:10] the secretary of commerce uh howard would you say a few words for us sure so in partnership with uh [46:17] bobby kennedy and memenaz and the whole team when they do most favorite nation we also ask the company [46:24] to reassure and build their drugs here in america because too many of our drugs are key drugs for our [46:31] health are being made overseas and in a conflict we can't rely upon them and i'm honored to say that [46:38] our partners from regeneron have agreed to reassure their production of pharmaceutical drugs and this [46:45] is exactly from your pharmaceutical tariffs that's the point so that means 448 billion dollars of drug [46:55] manufacturing is coming to america because of your tariffs because of your pharmaceutical strategy and [47:02] we are proud to invite regeneron to do this giant build in america and all the rest of the pharmaceutical [47:08] companies they've committed to build in america because of your tariff policy and your strategy and [47:15] because of the tariffs we have it's been amazing actually we have eli lilly and pfizer and all of [47:20] the companies we had i guess seven of them here at one time which was interesting to see but they actually [47:25] got along with each other pretty well they stood right behind me the biggest companies in the world and [47:30] uh they're all building uh eli lily is building i think five major plants which without tariffs they [47:37] would have built none i said how many would you build without the none uh they were all making these [47:42] products in other countries a lot of other countries actually not just china but a lot of other countries [47:47] and i think by the time i leave office they'll be mostly operating these they have an incentive to do [47:55] them quickly big incentive like the tariffs go up if they don't and remember if they do them here [48:00] they don't have any tariffs to pay it's an incredible incentive and if they don't do them [48:04] here they have a very substantial terror so they get penalized and it's bringing countries not only [48:10] drug companies but car companies ai is a different thing altogether but even there but [48:16] the ais we're leading china in ai we're leading everybody in ai we're leading uh now and car companies [48:22] are coming from canada they're coming from mexico germany japan they're pouring into our country [48:27] because they're very smart should have been done long ago by other presidents we were the car capital [48:34] of the world 50 or 60 years ago and then they just started taking them away we were the chip capital of [48:39] the world and now you know intel and now uh they're coming back all the chip companies are coming back [48:47] you may say a word about that howard real fast because we are what we're doing with chips are incredible [48:51] and what we're doing is saying uh at the end of a year and a half two years if you don't have your [48:57] chip company you're going to pay a tremendous tariff to put chips into this country and they are building [49:02] i think we'll have close to 50 of the chip market very soon right now we had nothing we had virtually [49:06] nothing and they're coming in from taiwan they're coming in mostly from taiwan because that's where chips [49:12] are made but mostly from south korea taiwan various other countries but they're coming back to america [49:17] we're bringing them all back uh it's a revolution nobody's ever seen what we've done there's never [49:22] been anything like what we've done we have 18 trillion dollars being invested that's for 11 [49:26] months and uh the last administration had less than 1 trillion in four years we have in 11 months [49:33] over 18 trillion dollars uh howard do you want to talk just for a second about the chip market because [49:38] it's it's explosive sure so you've got semiconductors you've got leading edge logic you've got high [49:45] bandwidth memory and you have foundational chips and america had a couple of points three or four [49:51] percent market share and we are of course the biggest demand and the president gave the order let's [49:57] get these factories these fabs built in america and our expectation is we will have one trillion dollars [50:06] of these fabs these are factories this is not the hyperscalers buying chips this is literally the making [50:14] of the chips right we had micron 200 billion dollars tsmc 165 billion the list goes on and on you [50:22] negotiated a great deal with taiwan 500 billion dollars coming to america we'll have one trillion [50:28] dollars of semiconductors that's part of his 18 trillion but it's foundational for us to take care [50:34] of ourselves thank you very much uh i'll go off subject for a minute but it's i think it's very [50:40] interesting and i hope you go home and take a look because it's happening right now as we speak [50:46] but first uh if you look outside so we had flooring outside we had a slate and it was coming to pieces [50:55] it's been there since the early 1940s and it's a path to the oval office it's a path to the west wing [51:01] and it was terrible it was broken bad shape the whole white house has been in bad shape it's been [51:08] it's right now in better shape than it is i think the day they built it this is better right now but [51:13] we're putting magnificent new granite it's called uh charcoal it's a black granite against the white [51:21] beautiful white walls we've stripped all of the paints off 200 years of paint and we've redone it [51:29] and it's beautiful and you can see the building but you could also see the columns everything else but [51:33] we're replacing and they're working right outside of the press wants to go and take a look at what state [51:38] they do really pros you see the way large slabs of black granite granite is rated as this particular [51:46] granite over a million year life uh as an example concrete gets rated for about 200 years if you get [51:53] very high grade this is over it's rated over can you imagine nature produces something better than you [51:58] can make so it's very interesting it's a beautiful job they're doing and it's uh highly polished granite in [52:04] the areas you don't walk on and it's uh it's called flame finished the areas that you do walk on there's [52:10] no slip so it's a beautiful job and it's going up nice and if you want to take a look outside the [52:16] window so that's replacing the stone that was here from the early 1940s a little before that and uh you'll [52:23] see the ramp too we're keeping the ramp and that was for fdr they needed a ramp some people would know [52:30] and uh in his honor we're leaving it i wanted to leave it means something uh the other thing that [52:36] we're doing that's taking place right now is the lincoln memorial has a beautiful reflecting pond or [52:44] lake they call it a pool lake and pond all of it is different but the word reflecting is a good term [52:52] it was built in 1922 and it was built out of granite and various stones on the bottom and they [52:59] didn't never look great because that's not really meant to be a stone that's underwater for that [53:04] much of a period of time it's about a foot and a half to two feet deep you all know it well that's [53:10] where martin luther king gave his great speech and he had a million people and i had the same exact [53:16] crowd maybe a little bit more but they said i had 25 000 people in july 4th i have pictures of [53:21] martin luther king's crowd my crowds the exact same everything but it was 70 years difference the exact [53:28] same crowd but i actually had more people but that's okay they gave him they gave him a million [53:34] people they said a million people and i had 25 000 people so but these are the things that you get [53:40] with we had on july 4th a few years ago first term so you have this reflecting lake pond is incredible [53:51] but it was terrible the condition you all know it a friend of mine came from germany to see me and he [53:58] said oh we went over it so sad what's that this is a number of months ago he said it's filthy dirty [54:04] it's the water's disgusting looking it's not representative of the country and i said well [54:10] i'm gonna have to go take a look because you know secret service doesn't let you just walk around too [54:13] freely actually and i went over there with secret service in tow and i said isn't that a shame it's [54:21] terrible and so they had bids from the biden administration sleepy joe and they had bids for [54:31] years that were going to do something to fix it but they never got it done and it's so uh it's it's so [54:37] important for our country everybody knows this it covers the washington monument lincoln memorial [54:42] it's in between it's uh 2 200 feet that's taller than any building in the world if you lay it down on [54:50] its side think of it 2 000 that's a long two thousand over 2 000 feet long such would be many [54:57] swimming pools many many many stacked up together but it would be the equivalent of the tallest building [55:02] in the world plus uh laid down on its side so it's very big it's very wide actually it looks narrow [55:08] because it's so long and so the pricing was coming in over the years but it came in sort of recently [55:16] that it was going to cost 301 million dollars to fix it it was going to take three and a half years [55:23] so they had to take all the granite out which is there again 1922 and it was leaking like a sieve [55:31] you couldn't keep water couldn't keep anything granite's not the right stone for that right stone for [55:36] that but not for that and i said you know i have an idea it's 301 million it was going to take three [55:43] years so remember those numbers 301 million this is a business study and it was going to [55:49] take three to three and a half years and over the years as a developer i've probably built more [55:55] than 100 swimming pools in different buildings i built and i have some really good pool builders i [56:00] also had some really bad ones but we took care of them they didn't last they didn't last too long [56:05] howard but i've had some really good ones some very talented very talented people they're great people [56:11] i have such great respect for contractors that are good and such disdain for contractors that are bad [56:17] they charge you more money and they give you a bad job but we we don't accept it but over the years [56:24] i've had three or four really good ones and i took the best of the three i had all three go but i ended [56:30] up taking the best and i said would you take a look at this it's 2 200 feet long he said what do you [56:38] want me to look at i said have a little swimming pool think of it as a swimming pool [56:42] i said oh how big is it i said 2 200 feet by 167 feet wide he said that's the biggest swimming pool [56:50] he said i've been doing this for a lot of years so i've never heard of a pool like that i said well [56:53] you'll see it's a reflecting pool and very famous very famous very big signal and uh very important [57:00] for washington dc where we by the way have almost no crime i have to say that's maybe the more important [57:05] than talking about this we have a crime down from a tremendously high one of the worst in the country [57:11] we have almost no crime people are walking around restaurants are opening all over the place the [57:15] place is bustling but that makes this even more important so instead of being a dirty disgusting [57:21] place where garbage was in it and everything else and i want to give doug bergum incredible credit [57:27] because he was involved the secretary of the interior he was involved right from the i called him i said doug [57:32] i'm getting a lot of complaints about the condition of this what do you think and he went over he studied [57:37] it and he came back with some ideas but i said you know doug i have a guy who's unbelievable at doing [57:44] swimming pools up the road we have a club we have an olympic sized swimming pool he did it 20 years ago [57:49] and it's perfect to this day so i asked them i said i have an idea uh i'm going to send my [57:56] contractor over and take a look he looked at it he called me up he said so we can do something on it [58:01] he said it's perfect actually he said it's really decaying and it's a terrible condition but if you [58:09] would i'd like to work two weeks on cleaning it up which is if you see right here you'd like to like [58:15] to repoint and fix some of the joints it won't matter because we're putting a substance over the top but [58:20] it's nice to have a nice surface and he said it'd take me two weeks and if you don't mind and then i'd [58:25] like to pour the latest and greatest filament or material which is essentially a pool surface but [58:34] it's uh industrial grade pool and he said what color would you like sir i said well uh what about [58:42] turquoise like in the bahamas he said well this is washington sir we can give you turquoise but why [58:48] don't you try like we have a color it's called american flag blue i said that's the color i like [58:54] he talked me into it very easily so he said that's the color i like so uh he came in and remember [59:02] three and a half years you have to take all the granite out then you have to put all brand new [59:08] granite in take years to do it over 300 million our job will take one week and will cost about a million [59:19] and a half dollars and people said wow and here's the only difference because somebody said well the [59:28] difference is no the difference is this is much better this will last 30 40 50 years and if it [59:34] didn't you do it again quickly if you want so it's being done now and i think the uh i think you'd find [59:42] it really amazing to go take a look so here it is you see the trucks he's uh got scrapers and you know [59:50] all sorts of equipment to make the stone as good as possible without removing it so we're using the [59:55] existing surface so we don't have to spend millions of dollars in demolition and he said much better [1:00:02] to leave this down than it is what's underneath they're afraid to look and so you see it's beautiful [1:00:07] clean it's ready to be taken care of here's a sign that we put and so doug bergham and myself are [1:00:15] involved in that and but when you take a look at the uh the surface we have it in good shape and they just [1:00:23] started today putting down the material it's a machine it lays it very evenly beautiful goes from [1:00:29] one side to the other it'll take about three days and you're gonna end up with a beautiful beautiful [1:00:35] reflecting pool the way it's supposed to be much better than it ever was actually uh it'll stay [1:00:41] clean we even have robots that go in it and they they ride around the bottom and they clean it like [1:00:47] your swimming pool but these are a much higher level this is industrial grade and it's really beautiful [1:00:53] so you're gonna have a beautiful pool and you'll have it for july 4th long before july 4th instead [1:01:01] of taking three three and a half years we're taking a week and instead of spending 301 million dollars [1:01:08] we're spending less than two million dollars and i think it's a great business story because there are [1:01:12] many things like that that i see i mean not maybe to that extent but there are many things like that that [1:01:20] i say i often talk about the pen this pen's better than the one that they used to give away for [1:01:24] two thousand i won't go on a long story about that because a couple of people said he kept talking [1:01:29] about the pen you know i gave you the whole history of it actually many people found it interesting and [1:01:34] some people thought i was doing too much of a weave but actually this pen for three dollars five dollars [1:01:42] two dollars whatever the hell it cost is better than the one for a thousand to two thousand dollars that [1:01:47] used to hand away so uh that's the short version of it i like the short version better but the long [1:01:53] version is this one so this is a an amazing thing that's happening and this is a big big [1:02:00] beautification in addition to that the sidewalk areas around it which were done in granite similar [1:02:06] granite to that actually not as nice as we have here to be honest with you but you know the people [1:02:11] that did did it weren't in the world of real estate like i am but they have good granite circling it and [1:02:18] we're going to repoint it meaning we're going to caulk it up and repoint it make it good and we're [1:02:23] going to also sandblast it it'll be like brandon so we're going to have in another couple of weeks [1:02:28] we're going to have the most beautiful reflecting pool between the washington monument and the lincoln [1:02:34] memorial that you've ever seen and i hope the media can go over and maybe watch them do it because [1:02:39] it's i think it's very exciting and so fraction of the cost and a fraction of the time and you get a [1:02:44] better product than you could ever get the other way and it'll be beautiful and as he said it will [1:02:49] be american flag blue any questions please yes sir could you talk a little bit about why your navy [1:02:55] secretary was fired yesterday sir uh he's a wonderful guy i just put out a statement about him very [1:03:01] he's a very good man i love i really liked him but he had some conflict with not necessarily pete with [1:03:07] some money he's a hard charger and he had some conflicts with some other people mostly as to [1:03:14] building and buying new ships i'm very aggressive in the new ship building and somehow he just didn't [1:03:22] get along with them he's an excellent guy i think he would have gotten along great with me i didn't [1:03:26] really deal with him too much but he's a uh you know i consider him to have done a very good job i put [1:03:32] out a nice statement about him you got to get along especially in the military you got to get along you [1:03:38] know and and some people liked him some people didn't and that's uh usually the truth about [1:03:45] everything but i found him to be a very good man and i i liked him a lot [1:03:52] how long are you willing to wait until you get a don't rush me don't rush me jeff uh you know guys [1:03:58] like you you want to say oh so we were in vietnam like for 18 years we were in iraq for many many years [1:04:05] we're in for all the i don't like to say world war ii because that was a biggie but we were four [1:04:10] and a half almost five years in world war ii we were in the korean war for seven years i've been [1:04:17] doing this for six weeks and we're their military is totally defeated they're they're uh outside of [1:04:25] the little wise guy ships i call them the wise guy ships the little boats that they have running around [1:04:31] with guns in them uh we'll take them out too when we see them but uh their navy is gone their air [1:04:38] force is gone their anti-aircraft is gone all of their anti-aircraft machinery is gone maybe they [1:04:45] loaded up a little bit during the two-week hiatus but we'll knock that out in about one day if they [1:04:50] did uh we've done an amazing job their leaders are gone you know their leaders are all gone part of the [1:04:56] problem is that uh that's why i can't really answer your question they have all new leadership and they're [1:05:01] fighting like cats and dogs for who's going to control because we've created a real mess for them [1:05:09] but they've created a mess for the world over the last 47 years they've killed a lot of our people [1:05:15] when you see a soldier a young person or now an older person but a person without legs or without [1:05:21] arms or with a face that got blown to pieces most likely it was from iran that was salamani who i killed [1:05:28] uh salamani love the roadside bomb he was an evil genius he was a brilliant general probably we [1:05:34] wouldn't be as far advanced had i not taken him out that was the beginning of it all and then i ended [1:05:40] the obama horror show the the nuclear transaction that he made was hard it gave him a road to the [1:05:50] you call it i mean what the deal that he did the iran nuclear deal was so bad it gave him a road to a [1:05:56] nuclear weapon and i will tell you i deal with him you cannot give iran a nuclear weapon this is all [1:06:00] about a nuclear weapon they cannot have the nuclear bomb and they're not going to have the nuclear bomb [1:06:05] so we've taken out their military we've hit about 75 of our targets we stopped a little early because [1:06:12] they wanted to have some peace and uh we have a blockade that's 100 effective and they're getting no [1:06:24] business and as you know they're not doing well economically financially they're not doing any [1:06:29] business because of the blockade they want to make a deal we have been speaking to them but they don't [1:06:36] even know who's leading the country they're in turmoil they're in turmoil so we thought we'd give [1:06:40] them a little chance to get some of their turmoil resolved but you know and i hope the fake news people [1:06:47] like you i hope the fake news are going to be able to write about it accurately because when you say oh [1:06:51] they're fighting very well they're not fighting well they would they've been obliterated jeff obliterated [1:06:58] 159 ships are in the navy you know how many ships are at the bottom of the sea jeff 159 so you know [1:07:09] and if you read the new york times the failing new york times subscriptions are way down as you know [1:07:14] that's because people don't believe the stuff anymore if you watch cnn you'd think that they're doing well [1:07:20] in the war they're not doing well they're getting absolutely decimated now with all of that being [1:07:25] said we'll see what happens they have a lot of uh we have no pressure it's only guys like you with a [1:07:31] question like that about what's your time we've been doing it for five and a half weeks [1:07:38] eight weeks that the u.s now has been involved with iran you had initially said it would be four [1:07:42] to six weeks but i also took a little break i gave them a break and remember this uh i want to make the [1:07:50] best deal i could make a deal right now do you know that if i left right now we had a tremendous [1:07:56] success it would take them 20 years to rebuild but i don't want to do that i want to have it everlasting [1:08:01] i want to have it where they never get they never have a chance to get i mean the way you asked that [1:08:06] question yeah i did say it i thought it would take uh four to six weeks and i was right because at [1:08:12] the end of six weeks at the end of four weeks their military was decimated but now what i'm doing [1:08:18] i don't i can't tell you that i don't want to put that kind of a timetable on it but it'll go pretty [1:08:23] quickly and uh we'll have the straight opened up now right now we have it closed we have total control [1:08:30] of the straight and the fact that it slows you know they would have opened it up three days ago [1:08:34] they came to us and they said we will agree to open the straight and all my people are happy [1:08:39] everybody was happy except me i said wait a minute if we open the straight that means they're going to [1:08:42] make 500 million dollars a day i don't want them to make 500 million dollars a day until they [1:08:48] settle this thing so i'm the one that kept it closed we have total control of it [1:08:54] and it'll open when they make a deal or something else happens that's very positive [1:09:00] what do you say to the american people who question how much longer this will take obviously you know [1:09:05] that they are having you're such a disgrace did you know what i just said vietnam how many years was [1:09:10] vietnam how many years was vietnam well i did my head i took i took i took the country out militarily [1:09:21] in the first four weeks i took it out militarily now what we're doing is sitting back and seeing what [1:09:28] deal and if they don't want to make a deal then i'll finish it up militarily with the other 25 of [1:09:34] the targets we've hit 78 of the targets that we've wanted to hit we've knocked out their manufacturing [1:09:40] we've knocked out their missile production we've knocked out their drone production we've knocked [1:09:45] out everything in some cases when i say knocked it out 70 80 90 percent uh it's amazing what we've done [1:09:53] so i've done that within that period of time that i mentioned but i don't want to [1:09:57] rush myself you know because every story says oh trump is under time pressure i'm not no no you know [1:10:01] who's under time pressure they are because if they don't get their oil moving their whole [1:10:06] oil infrastructure is going to explode you know what that means because they have no place to store [1:10:12] it and because they have no place to store it if they have to stop it something happens that only lynn [1:10:18] can explain something happens underground that essentially renders it in very poor shape and you [1:10:25] never recover fully you can recover 50 60 but you can never have it like it is right now and they have a [1:10:32] matter of days before that event takes place so i'm not under any pressure whatsoever we've never had [1:10:39] so much ammunition our our ships are loaded i call them locked and loaded they're locked and loaded [1:10:44] they're ready to go we have much higher quality uh equipment that we did when we first started the war [1:10:51] and or the military operation whatever you want to call it and they're coming to us the problem they [1:10:58] have is they are very disorganized right now well now yesterday and i was very pleased with this [1:11:05] eight young women were going to be executed yesterday afternoon at six o'clock and i i asked them [1:11:13] call it a favor i call it just a moral request that they not be executed and they came back with an [1:11:19] answer that they won't be executed they're going to release it was protesting uh eight beautiful young [1:11:25] women very young women and they were the pictures in the paper and it's been a story for a little [1:11:31] while and i saw that and i i said let's see we can save them and they were it was very nice what [1:11:37] happened so uh they're not going to be what they're doing is as you know they're releasing four of them [1:11:42] very shortly and they're going to keep four of them in jail for a period of one month and release them [1:11:47] so they won't be executed so if you're asking for more time to sort out negotiations i'm not asking you [1:11:53] for more time i'm not asking for them no it's not what i'm just i'm not asking anybody for more time [1:11:57] if you need more time does that mean americans should anticipate spending more on gasoline for [1:12:03] the foreseeable future a little while and you know what they get for that you know what they get for [1:12:07] that iran without a nuclear weapon that's going to try and blow up one of our cities or blow up the [1:12:12] entire middle east you want to see what shock would be and i i have to be honest the stock market is at [1:12:19] an all-time high right right right i thought it would have been down 20 25 percent wait can i [1:12:25] finish my question wise guy stock market's at an all-time high right now i projected and i'm pretty [1:12:34] good at this that the stock market howard would drop maybe 20 percent 25 percent and i understood that [1:12:40] and i said hey it's a bad thing but i have to do what's right for the country even the world [1:12:45] because you can't have them they you cannot let them have a nuclear weapon so [1:12:49] uh the stock market unlike what a lot of people were predicting i thought they weren't necessarily [1:12:56] wrong the stock market today hit an all-time high hit an all-time high yesterday the day before [1:13:02] and it's staying there i thought oil would go up to maybe 200 a barrel and oil is a very a different [1:13:10] number than anyone thought in fact this country is much lower because we have all the oil we can use [1:13:15] we're actually ships are coming from all over the world to texas louisiana and alaska they're coming [1:13:22] from all over the world to get oil from the united states you know while this is closed the hormones [1:13:27] strain so uh if you look at what i said i guess it was right because i said i'd have it four to six [1:13:35] weeks and in four weeks we have totally defeated that military so right now i don't want to rush it [1:13:40] because you guys are you know trying to make us look as bad as possible i don't want to rush it i want to [1:13:45] take my time we have plenty of time and i want to get a great deal i want to get a deal where our [1:13:50] nation and the world is safe from lunatics with nuclear weapons yes if it does go to 200 are you [1:13:57] okay with that sir i think that
