[0:02] We've seen masked federal agents with license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints.
[0:13] Each day, Donald Trump digs the moral pit deeper.
[0:22] But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says,
[0:26] whoever digs a pit, whoever digs a pit will fall into it.
[0:39] And Georgia, over the last year, in defiance of his depravity,
[0:43] we've marched together in protest and we've gathered at rallies like this one
[0:47] that just keep getting bigger and bigger.
[0:55] We've come together in small towns and big cities in the mountains and on the coast
[1:00] and on the Georgia farms that feed and clothe the world.
[1:03] And now, Georgia, with just six days to go,
[1:07] I'm here to tell you I have no doubt our victory is near at hand.
[1:21] In six days, our juggernaut coordinated campaign will have turned out the vote like never before
[1:27] to elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown Reynolds, Tanya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot.
[1:37] In six days, we'll elect a Medicaid-expanding Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms.
[1:43] And in six days, Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump with such clarity and
[1:55] power that no president will dare such abuses again for centuries.
[2:17] Now remember, he promised to lower prices on day one.
[2:30] Instead, under the failed President Donald J. Trump, it costs more than ever in American history
[2:36] to fill up your truck, stock your fridge, visit the doctor or power your home.
[2:44] They promised to drain the swamp.
[2:49] Instead, it's the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it.
[2:54] And while the crook President and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world,
[3:04] you pay more for everything.
[3:07] They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich.
[3:12] They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous
[3:17] pedophile.
[3:18] You saw it.
[3:30] Now remember, they also promised peace.
[3:35] They promised peace.
[3:40] Instead, today marks eight months of a needless war that the useless draft-dodging commander-in-chief
[3:48] can't figure out how to end or how to win.
[3:56] Remember, last year, last year, they claimed Iran's nuclear program had been obliterated.
[4:01] Do you remember that?
[4:04] And then this year, they told us it posed an imminent threat.
[4:07] Both times lies.
[4:10] On day four of the war, day four, the President declared victory.
[4:21] On day 11, Trump said, quote, the war is very complete.
[4:27] Day 13, quote, we won.
[4:31] Day 21, getting very close.
[4:35] Day 32, quote, leaving very soon.
[4:39] On day 40, the President declared, quote, total and complete victory.
[4:46] Today is day 243.
[4:51] 21 Americans are dead and hundreds wounded.
[4:55] Iran still has its uranium and drones and missiles, while diesel hits its all-time high.
[5:00] They've drained our stockpiles to achieve nothing, while the President builds himself a victory arch.
[5:15] And while the world burns, in Washington and at Mar-a-Lago, it's a spectacle of graft
[5:23] unprecedented in American history.
[5:26] The crypto payoffs and the crooked
[5:33] backing Prince Don and Prince Eric's investments.
[5:38] Never before has so little effort been made to cover up so much corruption.
[5:44] And here's the bottom line.
[5:47] If you're involved in any of this, next year, you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to
[5:53] tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help you God in front of the United
[5:58] States Congress. The Mar-a-Lago Mafia, the Mar-a-Lago Mafia has taken American corruption to
[6:28] spectacular new heights. But corruption in American politics runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump.
[6:39] It's been running on corporate money, secret money, billionaire money, both sides.
[6:46] Citizens United was the most destructive court decision in modern American history.
[6:53] Spectacular wealth buys an ever greater share of power over our national affairs.
[7:02] And I suspect many of you are here because you recognize that our task is not just to contain
[7:11] this one man's wickedness, but to heal the brokenness that gave rise to him.
[7:19] That this moment is an opportunity not for restoration, but for reformation.
[7:26] And Atlanta, if it takes a constitutional amendment to end Citizens United, we'll deliver a united Georgia
[7:32] Georgia to ratify it. A united Georgia. Each day, our wave grows taller and our tent grows bigger.
[7:49] Because this isn't just a campaign for Democrats. Folks come up to me at airports or on the street.
[7:55] They tell me they're voting for a Democrat for the first time. For the first time.
[8:05] Down in Valdosta, the mayor's name is Scott James Matheson, a lifelong Republican. We upgraded Moody Air Force
[8:12] together. And then when Hurricane Helene hit, we went together block by block and served hot meals
[8:18] to folks who just lost their homes. And when I got back to Washington, I delivered federal disaster
[8:23] aid for South Georgia. And now I'm honored to have conservative Republican Mayor Matheson's support
[8:29] in this reelection campaign. See, just about every week, I call up Georgia mayors and pastors and
[8:41] farmers to find out how I can help. And just up the road from Valdosta in Tifton,
[8:47] is Republican Mayor Julie Smith. And one day, Julie told me the Tifton Hospital needed new dialysis
[8:54] equipment to serve patients with diabetes in 12 South Georgia counties. So I delivered the funds
[9:01] to upgrade that clinic, which can now serve 200 patients. And like Mayor Matheson, Republican Mayor
[9:11] Julie Smith supporting this campaign too. Up north in Toccoa, then Mayor Gail Frye, another Georgia
[9:23] Republican. She told me Toccoa's gas lines were wearing out. So I got to work and delivered the
[9:30] funds to replace them. And Georgia Republican Gail Frye supporting our campaign too. Because see,
[9:40] hurricanes and diabetes and gas leaks don't check your party affiliation. And when it comes to serving
[9:47] Georgia, I don't either. But there's another reason. There's another reason so many Georgia
[9:57] Republicans are backing our campaign. And it's the bigot Congressman Mike Collins. See, see, Brian
[10:11] Kemp was right about Mike. There's a reason why Brad Raffensperger refuses to endorse him. Why
[10:19] conservative WSB radio host Shelley Winter calls Mike a bottom feeder. Why one of the founders of the
[10:28] Tea Party said this summer, quote, I cannot in good conscience vote for Mike Collins. He is unfit for
[10:34] our office. And that reason is that Mike Collins is a known bigot under federal investigation for the
[10:45] illegal misuse of tax dollars surrounded at work and at home by white nationalists and neo-Nazis and
[10:50] unfit for any elected office in the United States. And in his pathetic childlike devotion to Donald Trump,
[11:08] Mike Collins sold out our state. He voted every time for the war. He voted every time for the tariffs.
[11:17] He voted to double your health insurance premiums. And he voted for the biggest Medicaid cut in history.
[11:23] Listen to this. St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia is in Mike's district. And they just closed their
[11:34] labor and delivery units citing those Medicaid cuts. So now pregnant women Mike Collins represents have
[11:42] to drive an hour in labor to get to a maternity unit. And Georgia, after all that, the bigot Congressman
[11:56] is asking for a promotion. But in six days will end his political career instead.
[12:12] Now, what could drive Mike Collins to cast a vote that closes a labor and delivery unit in his own
[12:20] district? It's not just the money that's corrupted our politics. It's a moral corruption. It's the cynical
[12:29] indifference of powerful people. See, my office is known for world-class service. And what amazes me
[12:39] is how surprised people are to be treated so well. Nancy Lancey is 81 years old in Jessup. Her husband
[12:49] died after years of dementia. She was worn out and alone. And now her fair affairs were all wrapped
[12:58] up in a labyrinth between the VA and the IRS and Social Security. So we took care of things for her.
[13:04] And I'll never forget what she said about it. She said, this was a new experience to have someone
[13:13] caring about me. A new experience to have someone caring about me. How has it come to pass that for
[13:26] so many Americans, the experience of genuine care is rare and surprising? Official indifference and
[13:37] corporate disrespect have become systemic. Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book, that
[13:45] precious spare hour after work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover the medicine
[13:50] that prevents her seizures. The army lost the records you need to claim your VA benefits and it takes a
[13:57] year and 12 calls to fix it. You report the black mold to your landlord, but he doesn't fix the leak
[14:05] and the ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000 bill. Daily life's hard
[14:15] enough. And then you see the state of the world. I've got two little girls at home. Eva's four and Lila's
[14:28] one. And I'm so grateful to this country for the security and opportunity it affords them. But this
[14:34] isn't the world I want to leave them. Soon enough they'll learn there's now plastic in human blood
[14:41] and breast milk. That toxic forever chemicals are in half the country's drinking water. Eva loves animal
[14:50] documentaries and she'll learn the butterflies are dying off. She'll learn about the nuclear weapons
[14:56] that threaten annihilation. She'll ask me why I allowed these things to happen. And see what fills us with
[15:06] dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our times. Tech titans build
[15:15] bunkers while warning the artificial intelligence they're creating risks human extinction. Meanwhile,
[15:23] our Congress debates youth sports and the president builds a ballroom. An ancient establishment barely
[15:32] capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the president dismantles precautions
[15:38] and calls us fools for worrying. So you see this scenario and it fills you with dread. I get it.
[15:47] But Georgia, we can and will reclaim control over our own destiny. We can and will meet our obligations to
[16:01] our children. And it begins with victory this fall. Because Georgia, I refuse to leave my girls a world as
[16:11] dark and dangerous and cruel as this one threatens to become. I refuse to accept that Eva and Lila will grow
[16:19] up on a poisoned planet rearming for world war in a country where we have enough nuclear weapons to destroy
[16:26] the world a thousand fold, but we refuse to guarantee health care for every citizen. When Eva's old enough to ask me
[16:40] why I let this happen, I'm determined to answer truthfully, but I didn't. I'll tell her how the same year she turned five,
[16:56] Georgia overcame every doubt and dirty trick to not just win, but to set a new course for our state and our country and our world.
[17:04] That our generation didn't shrink from its obligations to hers. That we mastered technology instead of
[17:13] letting it master us. That we restored American leadership toward peace and human rights. And that
[17:21] we guaranteed health care for every single American. There's a portrait of Congressman Lewis right above my
[17:38] desk in my Senate office. And I promise you, his spirit is with us in this place right now. Right now.
[17:50] That we all live in one American house. In one world house. Do you remember? See, John Lewis knew and gave
[18:07] blood to make real what small men like Donald Trump and Mike Collins will never understand. That our
[18:13] national greatness flows not through our genes, but through our ideas and aspirations and care for one
[18:19] another. And from our founding ideals, despite our sins and through courageous struggle, the flame of
[18:35] American freedom has grown brighter and bolder and given hope to the whole world. But in the winds
[18:41] that blow today, that light is flickering. And from the Fulton County raid to the executive order
[18:50] attacking voting to the MAGA loyalists on our state election board, the election deniers and insurrectionists
[18:56] and their accomplices have made their intentions very clear. But Atlanta, when voting rights and civil
[19:02] rights that heroes died to secure are under attack, we defend those rights by using them.
[19:07] And that's why Georgia Democrats are answering with a mobilization so massive and a defense of voting
[19:19] rights so fierce that no plot against the franchise will foil the will of the people. Because how foolish
[19:31] of them to come to the cradle of the civil rights movement to spread those lies and seize those ballots.
[19:37] Their attacks have only strengthened our resolve. And if we all do what we must do these next six days,
[19:46] the sound of feet marching to the polls will be heard in every corner of our state and way up on high
[19:52] where Congressman Lewis will look down and see a job well done. A wave is building. The kind of wave
[20:04] that comes once a generation when the people have been pushed too far and decide all together all at once that
[20:11] enough is enough. We have six days Georgia and Georgia will bow to no. For nearly two years we've
[20:25] seen our government transformed into a tool of one man's personal vengeance and power and enrichment.
[20:34] We've seen insurance stripped from cancer patients and hospitals closed services to fund tax cuts for the
[20:40] rich. We've seen prison camps for immigrants full of children. We've seen masked federal agents with
[20:58] license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints. Each day Donald Trump digs the moral pit deeper.
[21:12] But pastor Bryant isn't it in proverbs that says whoever digs a pit, whoever digs a pit will fall into it.
[21:32] And Georgia over the last year in defiance of his depravity, we've marched together in protest

[43:28] Bottoms. And in six days Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump with such clarity and power
[43:41] that no president will dare such abuses again for centuries. Now remember he promised to lower prices
[44:10] on day one. Instead under the failed President Donald J. Trump it costs more than ever in American
[44:21] history to fill up your truck, stock your fridge, visit the doctor or power your home. They promised to
[44:31] drain the swamp. Instead it's the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows
[44:40] it. And while the crook President and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world,
[44:50] you pay more for everything. They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes
[44:57] for the rich. They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous
[45:03] pedophile. You saw it. Now remember they also promised peace. They promised peace. Instead today marks eight
[45:29] months of a needless war that the useless draft dodging commander in chief can't figure out how
[45:35] to end or how to win. Remember last year, last year they claimed Iran's nuclear program had been
[45:47] obliterated. Do you remember that? And then this year they told us it posed an imminent threat. Both times
[45:54] lies. On day four of the war, day four, the president declared victory. On day 11, Trump said, quote,
[46:09] the war is very complete. Day 13, quote, we won. Day 21, getting very close. Day 32, quote,
[46:22] leaving very soon. On day 40, the president declared, quote, total and complete victory.
[46:32] Today is day 243. 21 Americans are dead and hundreds wounded. Iran still has its uranium and drones and
[46:43] missiles while diesel hits its all time high. They've drained our stockpiles to achieve nothing.
[46:49] While the president builds himself a victory arch. And while the world burns in Washington and at
[47:06] Mar-a-Lago, it's a spectacle of graft unprecedented in American history. The crypto payoffs and the
[47:14] crooked there's backing Prince Don and Prince Eric's investments. Never before has so little effort been
[47:26] made to cover up so much corruption. And here's the bottom line. If you're involved in any of this,
[47:36] next year, you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth and
[47:41] nothing but the truth. So help you God in front of the United States Congress. The Mar-a-Lago mafia,
[48:10] the Mar-a-Lago mafia has taken American corruption to spectacular new heights. But corruption in American
[48:21] politics runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump. It's been running on corporate money, secret money,
[48:28] billionaire money, both sides. Citizens United was the most destructive court decision in modern American
[48:38] history. Spectacular wealth buys an ever greater share of power over our national affairs. And I
[48:50] suspect many of you are here because you recognize that our task is not just to contain this one man's
[48:58] wickedness, but to heal the brokenness that gave rise to him. That this moment is an opportunity not
[49:08] for restoration, but for reformation. And Atlanta, if it takes a constitutional amendment to end Citizens
[49:16] United, we'll deliver a united Georgia to ratify it. A united Georgia. Each day our wave grows taller
[49:33] and our tent grows bigger because this isn't just a campaign for Democrats. Folks come up to me at airports
[49:40] or on the street. They tell me they're voting for a Democrat for the first time. For the first time.
[49:51] Down in Valdosta, the mayor's name is Scott James Matheson, a lifelong Republican. We upgraded Moody
[49:57] Air Force together. And then when Hurricane Helene hit, we went together block by block and served hot
[50:03] meals to folks who just lost their homes. And when I got back to Washington, I delivered federal disaster
[50:09] aid for South Georgia. And now I'm honored to have conservative Republican Mayor Matheson's support
[50:15] in this reelection campaign. See, just about every week, I call up Georgia mayors and pastors and
[50:27] farmers to find out how I can help. And just up the road from Valdosta in Tifton is Republican Mayor
[50:34] Julie Smith. And one day, Julie told me the Tifton Hospital needed new dialysis equipment to serve
[50:41] patients with diabetes in 12 South Georgia counties. So I delivered the funds to upgrade that clinic,
[50:48] which can now serve 200 patients. And like Mayor Matheson, Republican Mayor Julie Smith supporting
[50:58] this campaign too. Up north in Toccoa, then Mayor Gail Frye, another Georgia Republican. She told me
[51:11] Toccoa's gas lines were wearing out. So I got to work and delivered the funds to replace them. And
[51:17] Georgia Republican Gail Frye supporting our campaign too. Because see, hurricanes and diabetes and gas
[51:28] leaks don't check your party affiliation. And when it comes to serving Georgia, I don't either.
[51:38] But there's another reason. There's another reason so many Georgia Republicans are backing our campaign.
[51:46] And it's the bigot Congressman Mike Collins. See, see, Brian Kemp was right about Mike.
[52:00] There's a reason why Brad Raffensperger refuses to endorse him. Why conservative WSB radio host
[52:07] Shelley Winter calls Mike a bottom feeder. Why one of the founders of the Tea Party said this summer,
[52:15] quote, I cannot in good conscience vote for Mike Collins. He is unfit for office.
[52:24] And that reason is that Mike Collins is a known bigot under federal investigation for the illegal
[52:31] misuse of tax dollars surrounded at work and at home by white nationalists and neo-Nazis and unfit for
[52:37] any elected office in the United States. And in his pathetic childlike devotion to Donald Trump,
[52:54] Mike Collins sold out our state. He voted every time for the war. He voted every time for the
[53:02] tariffs. He voted to double your health insurance premiums and he voted for the biggest Medicaid cut
[53:08] in history. Listen to this. St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia is in Mike's district and they just closed
[53:20] their labor and delivery units citing those Medicaid cuts. So now pregnant women Mike Collins
[53:27] represents have to drive an hour in labor to get to a maternity unit in Georgia. After all that,
[53:40] the bigot congressman is asking for a promotion, but in six days will end his political career
[53:47] instead. Now, what could drive Mike Collins to cast a vote that closes a labor and delivery unit in his
[54:06] own district? It's not just the money that's corrupted our politics. It's a moral corruption. It's the cynical
[54:15] indifference of powerful people. See, my office is known for world-class service. And what amazes me
[54:25] is how surprised people are to be treated so well. Nancy Lancey is 81 years old in Jessup. Her husband
[54:35] died after years of dementia. She was worn out and alone. And now her fair affairs were all wrapped up
[54:45] in a labyrinth between the VA and the IRS and Social Security. So we took care of things for her. And I'll
[54:52] never forget what she said about it. She said, this was a new experience to have someone caring
[55:00] about me. A new experience to have someone caring about me. How has it come to pass that for so many
[55:12] Americans, the experience of genuine care is rare and surprising? Official indifference and corporate
[55:24] disrespect have become systemic. Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book, That Precious Spare Hour
[55:32] after work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover the medicine that prevents her
[55:36] seizures. The army lost the records you need to claim your VA benefits and it takes a year and 12
[55:43] calls to fix it. You report the black mold to your landlord, but he doesn't fix the leak and the
[55:52] ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000 bill. Daily life's hard enough.
[56:04] And then you see the state of the world. I've got two little girls at home. Eva's four,
[56:13] and Lila's one. And I'm so grateful to this country for the security and opportunity it affords them.
[56:19] But this isn't the world I want to leave them. Soon enough they'll learn there's now plastic in human
[56:27] blood and breast milk. That toxic forever chemicals are in half the country's drinking water. Eva loves
[56:35] animal documentaries and she'll learn the butterflies are dying off. She'll learn about the nuclear weapons
[56:42] that threaten annihilation. She'll ask me why I allowed these things to happen. And see what fills us with
[56:52] dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our times. Tech
[57:00] titans build bunkers while warning the artificial intelligence they're creating risks human extinction.
[57:08] Meanwhile, our Congress debates youth sports and the president builds a ballroom. An ancient
[57:17] establishment barely capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the president
[57:23] dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying. So you see this scenario and it fills you
[57:30] with dread. I get it. But Georgia, we can and will reclaim control over our own destiny. We can and will
[57:45] meet our obligations to our children. And it begins with victory this fall. Because Georgia, I refuse to leave
[57:55] my girls a world as dark and dangerous and cruel as this one threatens to become. I refuse to accept
[58:03] that Eva and Lila will grow up on a poisoned planet rearming for world war in a country where we have
[58:10] enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world a thousand fold, but we refuse to guarantee health care for
[58:15] every citizen. When Eva's old enough to ask me why I let this happen, I'm determined to answer truthfully,
[58:31] but I didn't. I'll tell her how the same year she turned five, Georgia overcame every doubt and dirty
[58:45] trick to not just win, but to set a new course for our state and our country and our world. That our
[58:53] generation didn't shrink from its obligations to hers. That we mastered technology instead of letting it
[58:59] master us. That we restored American leadership toward peace and human rights. And that we guaranteed
[59:08] health care for every single American. There's a portrait of Congressman Lewis right above my desk in
[59:25] my Senate office. And I promise you, his spirit is with us in this place right now. Right now.
[59:43] That we all live in one American house, in one world house. Do you remember? See, John Lewis knew and gave
[59:53] blood to make real what small men like Donald Trump and Mike Collins will never understand. That our national
[59:59] greatness flows not through our genes, but through our ideas and aspirations and care for one another.
[1:00:06] And from our founding ideals, despite our sins and through courageous struggle, the flame of American
[1:00:21] freedom has grown brighter and bolder and given hope to the whole world. But in the winds that blow today,
[1:00:30] that light is flickering. And from the Fulton County raid to the executive order attacking voting to the
[1:00:37] MAGA loyalists on our state election board, the election deniers and insurrectionists and their
[1:00:42] accomplices have made their intentions very clear. But Atlanta, when voting rights and civil rights
[1:00:48] that heroes died to secure are under attack, we defend those rights by using them. And that's why
[1:00:59] Georgia Democrats are answering with a mobilization so massive and a defense of voting rights so fierce
[1:01:06] that no plot against the franchise will foil the will of the people. Because how foolish of them
[1:01:18] to come to the cradle of the civil rights movement to spread those lies and seize those ballots. Their
[1:01:24] attacks have only strengthened our resolve. And if we all do what we must do these next six days,
[1:01:32] the sound of feet marching to the polls will be heard in every corner of our state and way up on high
[1:01:38] where Congressman Lewis will look down and see a job well done. A wave is building. The kind of wave that
[1:01:50] comes once a generation when the people have been pushed too far and decide all together all at once
[1:01:57] that enough is enough. We have six days, Georgia, and Georgia will bow to no. For nearly two years,
[1:02:10] we've seen our government transformed into a tool of one man's personal vengeance and power and enrichment.
[1:02:20] We've seen insurance stripped from cancer patients and hospitals closed services to fund tax cuts for
[1:02:26] the rich. We've seen prison camps for immigrants full of children. We've seen masked federal agents
[1:02:44] with license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints. Each day, Donald Trump digs the moral pit
[1:02:57] deeper. But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says, whoever digs a pit, whoever digs a pit will
[1:03:12] fall into it. And Georgia, over the last year, in defiance of his depravity, we've marched together
[1:03:23] in protest and we've gathered at rallies like this one that just keep getting bigger and bigger.
[1:03:34] We've come together in small towns and big cities in the mountains and on the coast and on the Georgia
[1:03:40] farms that feed and clothe the world. And now, Georgia, with just six days to go, I'm here to tell you,
[1:03:47] I have no doubt our victory is near at hand. In six days, our juggernaut coordinated campaign will
[1:04:03] have turned out the vote like never before to elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown Reynolds,
[1:04:08] Tonya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot. In six days, we'll elect a Medicaid expanding
[1:04:19] Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms. And in six days, Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump

[1:26:34] billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything. They doubled your insurance premiums and
[1:26:41] slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich. They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the
[1:26:48] world's most famous pedophile. You saw it. Now remember, they also promised peace. They promised peace.
[1:27:12] Instead, today marks eight months of a needless war that the useless draft dodging commander in chief
[1:27:20] can't figure out how to end or how to win. Remember last year, last year they claimed Iran's nuclear program
[1:27:32] had been obliterated. Do you remember that? And then this year they told us it posed an imminent threat.
[1:27:39] Both times lies. On day four of the war, day four, the president declared victory. On day 11, Trump said,
[1:27:55] quote, the war is very complete. Day 13, quote, we won. Day 21, getting very close. Day 32, quote,
[1:28:08] leaving very soon. On day 40, the president declared, quote, total and complete victory.
[1:28:17] Today is day 243. 21 Americans are dead and hundreds wounded. Iran still has its uranium and drones and
[1:28:29] missiles while diesel hits its all time high. They've drained our stockpiles to achieve nothing.
[1:28:35] While the president builds himself a victory arch. And while the world burns in Washington and at Mar-a-Lago,
[1:28:53] it's a spectacle of graft unprecedented in American history. The crypto payoffs and the crooked
[1:29:05] backing Prince Don and Prince Eric's investments. Never before has so little effort been made to cover
[1:29:12] up so much corruption. And here's the bottom line. If you're involved in any of this, next year you'll be
[1:29:23] raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
[1:29:28] So help you God in front of the United States Congress. The Mar-a-Lago mafia, the Mar-a-Lago
[1:29:57] mafia has taken American corruption to spectacular new heights. But corruption in American politics
[1:30:07] runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump. It's been running on corporate money, secret money,
[1:30:13] billionaire money, both sides. Citizens United was the most destructive court decision in modern
[1:30:23] American history. Spectacular wealth buys an ever greater share of power over our national affairs.
[1:30:35] And I suspect many of you are here because you recognize that our task is not just to contain
[1:30:42] this one man's wickedness, but to heal the brokenness that gave rise to him.
[1:30:51] That this moment is an opportunity not for restoration, but for reformation. And Atlanta,
[1:30:59] if it takes a constitutional amendment to end Citizens United, we'll deliver a United Georgia to ratify
[1:31:06] it. A United Georgia. Each day our wave grows taller and our tent grows bigger because this isn't just
[1:31:22] a campaign for Democrats. Folks come up to me at airports or on the street. They tell me they're
[1:31:27] voting for a Democrat for the first time. For the first time. Down in Valdosta, the mayor's name,
[1:31:39] Scott James Matheson, a lifelong Republican. We upgraded Moody Air Force together.
[1:31:45] And then when Hurricane Helene hit, we went together block by block and served hot meals
[1:31:50] to folks who just lost their homes. And when I got back to Washington, I delivered federal disaster
[1:31:55] aid for South Georgia. And now I'm honored to have conservative Republican Mayor Matheson's support
[1:32:01] in this reelection campaign. See, just about every week, I call up Georgia mayors and pastors and
[1:32:13] farmers to find out how I can help. And just up the road from Valdosta in Tifton is Republican Mayor
[1:32:20] Julie Smith. And one day, Julie told me the Tifton Hospital needed new dialysis equipment to serve
[1:32:27] patients with diabetes in 12 South Georgia counties. So I delivered the funds to upgrade that clinic,
[1:32:34] which can now serve 200 patients. And like Mayor Matheson, Republican Mayor Julie Smith supporting
[1:32:44] this campaign too. Up north in Toccoa, then Mayor Gail Frye, another Georgia Republican,
[1:32:56] she told me Toccoa's gas lines were wearing out. So I got to work and delivered the funds to replace
[1:33:03] them. And Georgia Republican Gail Frye supporting our campaign too. Because see, hurricanes and diabetes
[1:33:14] and gas leaks don't check your party affiliation. And when it comes to serving Georgia, I don't either.
[1:33:24] But there's another reason. There's another reason so many Georgia Republicans are backing our campaign.
[1:33:32] And it's the bigot Congressman Mike Collins. See, see, Brian Kemp was right about Mike. There's a reason
[1:33:47] why Brad Raffensperger refuses to endorse him. Why conservative WSB radio host Shelley Winter calls
[1:33:54] Mike a bottom feeder. Why one of the founders of the Tea Party said this summer, quote,
[1:34:01] I cannot in good conscience vote for Mike Collins. He is unfit for office. And that reason is that
[1:34:12] Mike Collins is a known bigot under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax
[1:34:18] dollars surrounded at work and at home by white nationalists and neo-Nazis and unfit for any elected
[1:34:24] office in the United States. And in his pathetic childlike devotion to Donald Trump, Mike Collins sold
[1:34:41] out our state. He voted every time for the war. He voted every time for the tariffs. He voted to double
[1:34:50] your health insurance premiums. And he voted for the biggest Medicaid cut in history. Listen to this.
[1:35:01] St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia is in Mike's district, and they just closed their labor and delivery units
[1:35:07] citing those Medicaid cuts. So now pregnant women Mike Collins represents have to drive an hour in labor
[1:35:16] to get to a maternity unit. And Georgia after all that, the bigot congressman is asking for a promotion,
[1:35:29] but in six days will end his political career instead. Now what could drive Mike Collins to cast
[1:35:49] a vote that closes a labor and delivery unit in his own district? It's not just the money that's
[1:35:56] corrupted our politics. It's a moral corruption. It's the cynical indifference of powerful people.
[1:36:03] See, my office is known for world-class service. And what amazes me is how surprised people are to be
[1:36:13] treated so well. Nancy Lancey is 81 years old in Jessup. Her husband died after years of dementia.
[1:36:23] She was worn out and alone. And now her affairs were all wrapped up in a labyrinth between the VA
[1:36:32] and the IRS and Social Security. So we took care of things for her. And I'll never forget what she said
[1:36:39] about it. She said, this was a new experience to have someone caring about me. A new experience
[1:36:51] to have someone caring about me. How has it come to pass that for so many Americans,
[1:37:01] the experience of genuine care is rare and surprising? Official indifference and corporate
[1:37:10] disrespect have become systemic. Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book,
[1:37:17] that precious spare hour after work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover
[1:37:21] the medicine that prevents her seizures. The army lost the records you need to claim your VA benefits
[1:37:28] and it takes a year and 12 calls to fix it. You report the black mold to your landlord,
[1:37:36] but he doesn't fix the leak. And the ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000
[1:37:41] bill. Daily life's hard enough. And then you see the state of the world. I've got two little girls at
[1:37:56] home. Eva's four and Lila's one. And I'm so grateful to this country for the security and opportunity it
[1:38:04] affords them. But this isn't the world I want to leave them. Soon enough, they'll learn there's now
[1:38:11] plastic and human blood and breast milk. That toxic forever chemicals are in half the country's drinking
[1:38:19] water. Eva loves animal documentaries and she'll learn the butterflies are dying off. She'll learn about the
[1:38:27] nuclear weapons that threaten annihilation. She'll ask me why I allowed these things to happen. And see,
[1:38:37] what fills us with dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our
[1:38:43] times. Tech titans build bunkers while warning the artificial intelligence they're creating risks human
[1:38:52] extinction. Meanwhile, our Congress debates youth sports and the president builds a ballroom. An
[1:39:02] ancient establishment barely capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the
[1:39:08] president dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying. So you see this scenario and it fills you
[1:39:16] with dread. I get it. But Georgia, we can and will reclaim control over our own destiny. We can and will
[1:39:31] meet our obligations to our children. And it begins with victory this fall. Because Georgia, I refuse to leave
[1:39:41] my girls a world as dark and dangerous and cruel as this one threatens to become. I refuse to accept that
[1:39:49] Eva and Lila will grow up on a poisoned planet rearming for world war in a country where we have enough
[1:39:56] nuclear weapons to destroy the world a thousand fold, but we refuse to guarantee health care for every
[1:40:01] citizen. When Eva's old enough to ask me why I let this happen, I'm determined to answer truthfully, but I
[1:40:17] didn't. I'll tell her how the same year she turned five, Georgia overcame every doubt and dirty trick to
[1:40:31] not just win, but to set a new course for our state and our country and our world, that our generation
[1:40:39] didn't shrink from its obligations to hers, that we mastered technology instead of letting it master us,
[1:40:47] that we restored American leadership toward peace and human rights, and that we guaranteed health care for
[1:40:55] every single American. There's a portrait of Congressman Lewis right above my desk in my Senate office,
[1:41:14] and I promise you, his spirit is with us in this place right now, right now, that we all live in one
[1:41:31] American house, in one world house. Do you remember? See, John Lewis knew and gave blood to make real what
[1:41:40] small men like Donald Trump and Mike Collins will never understand, that our national greatness flows not
[1:41:46] through our genes, but through our ideas and aspirations and care for one another. And from our
[1:42:00] founding ideals, despite our sins, and through courageous struggle, the flame of American freedom
[1:42:07] has grown brighter and bolder and given hope to the whole world. But in the winds that blow today,
[1:42:16] that light is flickering. And from the Fulton County raid to the executive order attacking voting to the
[1:42:23] MAGA loyalists on our state election board, the election deniers and insurrectionists and their
[1:42:28] accomplices have made their intentions very clear. But Atlanta, when voting rights and civil rights that
[1:42:34] heroes died to secure are under attack, we defend those rights by using them. And that's why Georgia
[1:42:45] Democrats are answering with a mobilization so massive and a defense of voting rights so fierce that
[1:42:52] no plot against the franchise will foil the will of the people. Because how foolish of them to come to
[1:43:04] the cradle of the civil rights movement to spread those lies and seize those ballots. Their attacks
[1:43:10] have only strengthened our resolve. And if we all do what we must do these next six days, the sound of
[1:43:18] feet marching to the polls will be heard in every corner of our state and way up on high where
[1:43:24] Congressman Lewis will look down and see a job well done. A wave is building. The kind of wave that comes
[1:43:36] once a generation when the people have been pushed too far and decide all together all at once that
[1:43:43] enough is enough. We have six days, Georgia, and Georgia will bow to no. For nearly two years,
[1:43:56] we've seen our government transformed into a tool of one man's personal vengeance and power and
[1:44:03] enrichment. We've seen insurance stripped from cancer patients and hospitals closed services to fund
[1:44:11] tax cuts for the rich. We've seen prison camps for immigrants full of children. We've seen masked
[1:44:29] federal agents with license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints. Each day, Donald Trump
[1:44:41] digs the moral pit deeper. But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says, whoever digs a pit,
[1:44:56] whoever digs a pit will fall into it. And Georgia over the last year in defiance of his depravity,
[1:45:08] we've marched together in protest and we've gathered at rallies like this one that just keep getting
[1:45:13] bigger and bigger. We've come together in small towns and big cities in the mountains and on the
[1:45:24] coast and on the Georgia farms that feed and clothe the world. And now Georgia with just six days to go,
[1:45:32] I'm here to tell you I have no doubt our victory is near at hand. In six days, our juggernaut coordinated
[1:45:49] campaign will have turned out the vote like never before to elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown Reynolds,
[1:45:54] Tonya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot. In six days, we'll elect a Medicaid expanding
[1:46:05] Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms. And in six days, Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump
[1:46:18] with such clarity and power that no president will dare such abuses again for centuries.
[1:46:42] Now remember, instead, under the failed President Donald J. Trump, it costs more than ever in
[1:46:56] American history to fill up your truck, stock your free visit the doctor or power your home.
[1:47:05] They promised to drain the swamp. Instead, it's the most corrupt administration of all time and

[2:07:47] it costs more than ever in American history to fill up your truck, stock your fridge,
[2:07:52] visit the doctor or power your home. They promised to drain the swamp. Instead,
[2:08:04] it's the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it. And while the crook
[2:08:14] president and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything.
[2:08:21] They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich.
[2:08:26] They lied us into war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile.
[2:08:32] You saw it. Now, remember, they also promised peace. They promised peace.
[2:08:52] Instead, today marks eight months of a needless war that the useless, draft-dodging commander-in-chief
[2:09:02] can't figure out how to end or how to win. Remember, last year, last year, they claimed Iran's nuclear
[2:09:14] program had been obliterated. Do you remember that? And then this year, they told us it posed an imminent
[2:09:21] threat. Both times lies. On day four of the war, day four, the president declared victory. On day 11,
[2:09:36] Trump said, quote, the war is very complete. Day 13, quote, we won. Day 21, getting very close.
[2:09:49] Day 32, quote, leaving very soon. On day 40, the president declared, quote, total and complete victory.
[2:10:00] Today is day 243. 21 Americans are dead and hundreds wounded. Iran still has its uranium and drones and
[2:10:11] missiles while diesel hits its all-time high. They've drained our stockpiles to achieve nothing
[2:10:17] while the president builds himself a victory arch. And while the world burns, in Washington and at
[2:10:34] Mar-a-Lago, it's a spectacle of graft unprecedented in American history. The crypto payoffs and the
[2:10:42] crooked backing Prince Don and Prince Eric's investments. Never before has so little effort
[2:10:54] been made to cover up so much corruption. And here's the bottom line. If you're involved in any
[2:11:03] of this, next year, you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth,
[2:11:09] and nothing but the truth. So help you God in front of the United States Congress. The Mar-a-Lago mafia,
[2:11:35] the Mar-a-Lago mafia has taken American corruption to spectacular new heights. But corruption in American
[2:11:49] politics runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump. It's been running on corporate money, secret money,
[2:11:56] billionaire money, both sides. Citizens United was the most destructive court decision in modern
[2:12:05] American history. Spectacular wealth buys an ever greater share of power over our national affairs.
[2:12:18] And I suspect many of you are here because you recognize that our task is not just to contain this
[2:12:25] one man's wickedness, but to heal the brokenness that gave rise to him. That this moment is an
[2:12:35] opportunity not for restoration, but for reformation. And Atlanta, if it takes a constitutional amendment
[2:12:43] to end Citizens United, we'll deliver a united Georgia to ratify it. A united Georgia. Each day,
[2:13:00] our wave grows taller and our tent grows bigger because this isn't just a campaign for Democrats.
[2:13:07] Folks come up to me at airports or on the street. They tell me they're voting for a Democrat for the
[2:13:11] first time. For the first time. Down in Valdosta, the mayor's name, Scott James Matheson, a lifelong
[2:13:24] Republican. We upgraded Moody Air Force together. And then when Hurricane Helene hit, we went together
[2:13:30] block by block and served hot meals to folks who just lost their homes. And when I got back to
[2:13:35] Washington, I delivered federal disaster aid for South Georgia. And now I'm honored to have
[2:13:40] conservative Republican Mayor Matheson's support in this reelection campaign. See, just about every
[2:13:53] week, I call up Georgia mayors and pastors and farmers to find out how I can help. And just up
[2:13:58] the road from Valdosta in Tifton is Republican Mayor Julie Smith. And one day, Julie told me the
[2:14:06] Tifton hospital needed new dialysis equipment to serve patients with diabetes in 12 South Georgia counties.
[2:14:14] So I delivered the funds to upgrade that clinic, which can now serve 200 patients. And like Mayor
[2:14:23] Matheson, Republican Mayor Julie Smith supporting this campaign too. Up north in Toccoa, then Mayor
[2:14:36] Gail Frye, another Georgia Republican. She told me Toccoa's gas lines were wearing out. So I got to work
[2:14:43] and delivered the funds to replace them. And Georgia Republican Gail Frye supporting our campaign too.
[2:14:49] Because see, hurricanes and diabetes and gas leaks don't check your party affiliation. And when it
[2:15:01] comes to serving Georgia, I don't either. But there's another reason. There's another reason so
[2:15:11] many Georgia Republicans are backing our campaign. And it's the bigot Congressman Mike Collins. See,
[2:15:23] see, Brian Kemp was right about Mike. There's a reason why Brad Raffensperger refuses to endorse him.
[2:15:33] Why conservative WSB radio host Shelley Winter calls Mike a bottom feeder. Why one of the founders
[2:15:42] of the Tea Party said this summer, quote, I cannot in good conscience vote for Mike Collins. He is unfit
[2:15:48] for office. And that reason is that Mike Collins is a known bigot under federal investigation for the
[2:15:59] illegal misuse of tax dollars surrounded at work and at home by white nationalists and neo-Nazis and
[2:16:05] unfit for any elected office in the United States. And in his pathetic, childlike devotion to Donald
[2:16:22] Trump, Mike Collins sold out our state. He voted every time for the war. He voted every time for
[2:16:30] the tariffs. He voted to double your health insurance premiums. And he voted for the biggest Medicaid cut
[2:16:36] in history. Listen to this. St. Mary's Hospital in Livonia is in Mike's district,
[2:16:47] and they just closed their labor and delivery unit, citing those Medicaid cuts.
[2:16:52] So now pregnant women Mike Collins represents have to drive an hour in labor to get to a maternity
[2:17:00] unit. In Georgia, after all that, the bigot congressman is asking for a promotion. But in
[2:17:12] six days, we'll end his political career instead. Now, what could drive Mike Collins to cast a vote that
[2:17:32] closes a labor and delivery unit in his own district? It's not just the money that's
[2:17:38] corrupted our politics. It's a moral corruption. It's the cynical indifference of powerful people.
[2:17:45] See, my office is known for world-class service. And what amazes me is how surprised people are to be
[2:17:56] treated so well. Nancy Lancey's 81 years old in Jessup. Her husband died after years of dementia.
[2:18:07] She was worn out and alone. And now her affairs were all wrapped up in a labyrinth between the VA
[2:18:15] and the IRS and Social Security. So we took care of things for her. And I'll never forget what she
[2:18:21] said about it. She said, this was a new experience to have someone caring about me. A new experience
[2:18:33] to have someone caring about me. How has it come to pass that for so many Americans, the experience of
[2:18:45] genuine care is rare and surprising. Official indifference and corporate disrespect have become
[2:18:53] systemic. Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book, that precious spare hour after
[2:19:01] work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover the medicine that prevents her
[2:19:04] seizures. The army lost the records you need to claim your VA benefits and it takes a year and 12
[2:19:12] calls to fix it. You report the black mold to your landlord, but he doesn't fix the leak. And the
[2:19:20] ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000 bill. Daily life's hard
[2:19:30] enough. And then you see the state of the world. I've got two little girls at home. Eva's four and
[2:19:41] Lila's one. And I'm so grateful to this country for the security and opportunity it affords them.
[2:19:48] But this isn't the world I want to leave them. Soon enough, they'll learn there's now plastic in human
[2:19:55] blood and breast milk. That toxic forever chemicals are in half the country's drinking water. Eva loves animal
[2:20:04] documentaries and she'll learn the butterflies are dying off. She'll learn about the nuclear weapons
[2:20:10] that threaten annihilation. She'll ask me why I allowed these things to happen. And see, what fills
[2:20:20] us with dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our times.
[2:20:28] Tech titans build bunkers while warning the artificial intelligence they're creating risks human
[2:20:34] extinction. Meanwhile, our Congress debates youth sports and the president builds a ballroom.
[2:20:44] An ancient establishment barely capable of emails sleepwalks into a technological revolution while
[2:20:51] the president dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying. So you see this scenario and
[2:20:58] it fills you with dread. I get it. But Georgia, we can and will reclaim control over our own destiny.
[2:21:12] We can and will meet our obligations to our children. And it begins with victory this fall.
[2:21:21] Because Georgia, I refuse to leave my girls a world as dark and dangerous and cruel as this one
[2:21:27] threatens to become. I refuse to accept that Eva and Lila will grow up on a poisoned planet rearming for
[2:21:35] world war in a country where we have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world a thousand fold. But we
[2:21:41] refuse to guarantee health care for every citizen. When Eva's old enough to ask me why I let this happen,
[2:21:57] I'm determined to answer truthfully, but I didn't. I'll tell her how the same year she turned five,
[2:22:10] Georgia overcame every doubt and dirty trick to not just win, but to set a new course for our state
[2:22:17] and our country and our world. That our generation didn't shrink from its obligations to hers. That we
[2:22:24] mastered technology instead of letting it master us. That we restored American leadership toward peace and
[2:22:33] human rights. And that we guaranteed health care for every single American. There's a portrait of
[2:22:51] Congressman Lewis right above my desk in my Senate office. And I promise you, his spirit is with us
[2:23:01] in this place right now. Right now. That we all live in one American house, in one world house. Do you
[2:23:16] remember? See, John Lewis knew and gave blood to make real what small men like Donald Trump and Mike
[2:23:25] Collins will never understand that our national greatness flows not through our genes, but through
[2:23:30] our ideas and aspirations and care for one another. And from our founding ideals, despite our sins and
[2:23:47] through courageous struggle, the flame of American freedom has grown brighter and bolder and given hope
[2:23:52] to the whole world. But in the winds that blow today, that light is flickering. And from the Fulton County
[2:24:03] raid to the executive order attacking voting to the MAGA loyalists on our state election board,
[2:24:08] the election deniers and insurrectionists and their accomplices have made their intentions very clear.
[2:24:13] But Atlanta, when voting rights and civil rights that heroes died to secure are under attack,
[2:24:19] we defend those rights by using them. And that's why Georgia Democrats are answering with a mobilization
[2:24:30] so massive and a defense of voting rights so fierce that no plot against the franchise will foil the will of
[2:24:38] the people. Because how foolish of them to come to the cradle of the civil rights movement to spread those
[2:24:49] lies and seize those ballots. Their attacks have only strengthened our resolve. And if we all do what
[2:24:58] we must do these next six days, the sound of feet marching to the polls will be heard in every corner of
[2:25:04] our state and way up on high where Congressman Lewis will look down and see a job well done.
[2:25:10] A wave is building the kind of wave that comes once a generation when the people have been pushed too
[2:25:21] far and decide all together all at once that enough is enough. We have six days Georgia and Georgia will bow to
[2:25:34] no. For nearly two years we've seen our government transformed into a tool of one man's personal
[2:25:44] vengeance and power and enrichment. We've seen insurance stripped from cancer patients and hospitals
[2:25:52] closed services to fund tax cuts for the rich. We've seen prison camps for immigrants full of children.
[2:26:10] We've seen masked federal agents with license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints.
[2:26:20] Each day Donald Trump digs the moral pit deeper. But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says
[2:26:33] whoever digs a pit, whoever digs a pit will fall into it. And Georgia over the last year in defiance of
[2:26:49] his depravity, we've marched together in protest and we've gathered at rallies like this one that just
[2:26:55] keep getting bigger and bigger. We've come together in small towns and big cities in the mountains and on the
[2:27:07] coast and on the Georgia farms that feed and clothe the world. And now Georgia with just six days to
[2:27:13] go. I'm here to tell you I have no doubt our victory is near at hand. In six days our juggernaut
[2:27:30] coordinated campaign will have turned out the vote like never before to elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown
[2:27:36] Reynolds, Tonya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot. In six days we'll elect a Medicaid expanding
[2:27:47] governor Keisha Lance Bottoms. And in six days Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald
[2:28:00] Trump with such clarity and power that no president will dare such abuses again for centuries. Now
[2:28:25] remember he promised to lower prices on day one. Instead under the failed President Donald J. Trump it
[2:28:41] costs more than ever in American history to fill up your truck, stock your fridge, visit the doctor or

[2:48:37] In six days, we'll elect a Medicaid expanding Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms. And in six days,
[2:48:50] Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump with such clarity and power that no president
[2:48:56] will dare such abuses again for centuries. Now remember, he promised to lower prices on day one.
[2:49:30] Instead, under the failed President Donald J. Trump, it costs more than ever in American history to fill
[2:49:36] up your truck, stock your fridge, visit the doctor or power your home. They promised to drain the swamp.
[2:49:49] Instead, it's the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it. And while the crook
[2:50:00] President and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything.
[2:50:07] They doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich. They lied us into
[2:50:13] war and spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile. You saw it.
[2:50:30] Now remember, they also promised peace. They promised peace. Instead, today marks eight months of a
[2:50:44] needless war that the useless draft dodging commander in chief can't figure out how to end or how to win.
[2:50:56] Remember, last year, last year they claimed Iran's nuclear program had been obliterated. Do you remember
[2:51:02] that? And then this year they told us it posed an imminent threat. Both times lies. On day four of the war,
[2:51:14] day four, the president declared victory. On day 11, Trump said, quote, the war is very complete.
[2:51:27] Day 13, quote, we won. Day 21 getting very close. Day 32, quote, leaving very soon. On day 40,
[2:51:40] the president declared, quote, total and complete victory. Today is day 243. 21 Americans are dead and
[2:51:54] hundreds wounded. Iran still has its uranium and drones and missiles while diesel hits its all-time
[2:52:00] high. They've drained our stockpiles to achieve nothing while the president builds himself a victory
[2:52:06] arch. And while the world burns in Washington and at Mar-a-Lago, it's a spectacle of graft unprecedented
[2:52:23] in American history. The crypto payoffs and the crooked there's backing Prince Don and Prince Eric's
[2:52:35] investments. Never before has so little effort been made to cover up so much corruption. And here's the
[2:52:45] bottom line. If you're involved in any of this, next year you'll be raising your right hand and swearing
[2:52:53] to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. So help you God in front of the United States
[2:52:58] Congress. The Mar-a-Lago mafia, the Mar-a-Lago mafia has taken American corruption to spectacular new heights.
[2:53:34] But corruption in American politics runs a lot deeper than Donald Trump. It's been running on
[2:53:40] corporate money, secret money, billionaire money, both sides. Citizens United was the most destructive
[2:53:49] court decision in modern American history. Spectacular wealth buys an ever greater share of power over
[2:54:00] our national affairs. And I suspect many of you are here because you recognize that our task is not
[2:54:10] just to contain this one man's wickedness, but to heal the brokenness that gave rise to him.
[2:54:19] That this moment is an opportunity not for restoration, but for reformation. And Atlanta,
[2:54:27] if it takes a constitutional amendment to end Citizens United, we'll deliver a United
[2:54:32] Georgia to ratify it. A United Georgia. Each day our wave grows taller and our tent grows bigger.
[2:54:49] Because this isn't just a campaign for Democrats. Folks come up to me at airports or on the street.
[2:54:55] They tell me they're voting for a Democrat for the first time. For the first time. Down in Valdosta,
[2:55:06] the mayor's name is Scott James Matheson, a lifelong Republican. We upgraded Moody Air Force together.
[2:55:13] And then when Hurricane Helene hit, we went together block by block and served hot meals to folks who just
[2:55:19] lost their homes. And when I got back to Washington, I delivered federal disaster aid for South Georgia.
[2:55:25] And now I'm honored to have conservative Republican Mayor Matheson's support in this reelection campaign.
[2:55:31] See, just about every week, I call up Georgia mayors and pastors and farmers to find out how I can help.
[2:55:43] And just up the road from Valdosta in Tifton is Republican Mayor Julie Smith. And one day,
[2:55:51] Julie told me that Tifton Hospital needed new dialysis equipment to serve patients with diabetes in 12
[2:55:57] South Georgia counties. So I delivered the funds to upgrade that clinic, which can now serve 200
[2:56:04] patients. And like Mayor Matheson, Republican Mayor Julie Smith supporting this campaign too.
[2:56:19] Up north in Toccoa, then Mayor Gail Frye, another Georgia Republican. She told me Toccoa's gas lines
[2:56:26] were wearing out. So I got to work and delivered the funds to replace them. And Georgia Republican Gail Frye,
[2:56:33] supporting our campaign too. Because see, hurricanes and diabetes and gas leaks don't check your party
[2:56:44] affiliation. And when it comes to serving Georgia, I don't either. But there's another reason. There's
[2:56:55] another reason so many Georgia Republicans are backing our campaign. And it's the bigot Congressman
[2:57:02] Mike Collins. See, see, Brian Kemp was right about Mike. There's a reason why Brad Raffensperger
[2:57:16] refuses to endorse him. Why conservative WSB radio host Shelley Winter calls Mike a bottom feeder.
[2:57:26] Why one of the founders of the Tea Party said this summer, quote, I cannot in good conscience vote
[2:57:32] for Mike Collins. He is unfit for office. And that reason is that Mike Collins is a known bigot
[2:57:43] under federal investigation for the illegal misuse of tax dollars surrounded at work and at home by
[2:57:48] white nationalists and neo-Nazis and unfit for any elected office in the United States.
[2:58:03] And in his pathetic childlike devotion to Donald Trump, Mike Collins sold out our state.
[2:58:12] He voted every time for the war. He voted every time for the tariffs. He voted to double your health
[2:58:18] insurance premiums. And he voted for the biggest Medicaid cut in history. Listen to this. St. Mary's
[2:58:30] hospital in Livonia is in Mike's district and they just closed their labor and delivery units citing
[2:58:36] those Medicaid cuts. So now pregnant women Mike Collins represents have to drive an hour in labor
[2:58:44] to get to a maternity unit. And Georgia, after all that, the bigot Congressman is asking for a promotion,
[2:58:58] but in six days will end his political career instead. Now, what could drive Mike Collins
[2:59:16] to cast a vote that closes a labor and delivery unit in his own district? It's not just the money
[2:59:24] that's corrupted our politics. It's a moral corruption. It's the cynical indifference of
[2:59:30] powerful people. See, my office is known for world-class service. And what amazes me
[2:59:39] is how surprised people are to be treated so well. Nancy Lancey is 81 years old in Jessup. Her husband died
[2:59:50] after years of dementia. She was worn out and alone. And now her fair affairs were all wrapped
[2:59:58] up in a labyrinth between the VA and the IRS and social security. So we took care of things for her.
[3:00:05] And I'll never forget what she said about it. She said, this was a new experience to have someone
[3:00:13] caring about me. A new experience to have someone caring about me. How has it come to pass that for so
[3:00:26] many Americans? The experience of genuine care is rare and surprising. Official indifference and
[3:00:37] corporate disrespect have become systemic. Instead of reading your daughter her favorite book,
[3:00:45] that precious spare hour after work, you're on the phone begging the insurance company to cover the
[3:00:49] medicine that prevents her seizures. The army lost the records you need to claim your VA benefits and
[3:00:56] it takes a year and 12 calls to fix it. You report the black mold to your landlord, but he doesn't fix the
[3:01:05] leak and the ambulance for your toddler's asthma attack is followed by a $3,000 bill. Daily life's
[3:01:15] hard enough. And then you see the state of the world. I've got two little girls at home. Eva's four
[3:01:27] and Lila's one. And I'm so grateful to this country for the security and opportunity it affords them.
[3:01:34] But this isn't the world I want to leave them. Soon enough, they'll learn there's now plastic and human
[3:01:41] blood and breast milk. That toxic forever chemicals are in half the country's drinking water. Eva loves animal
[3:01:50] documentaries and she'll learn the butterflies are dying off. She'll learn about the nuclear weapons
[3:01:56] that threaten annihilation. She'll ask me why I allowed these things to happen. And see, what fills
[3:02:06] us with dread is the crushing weakness of our politics against the massive stakes of our times. Tech
[3:02:14] titans build bunkers while warning the artificial intelligence they're creating risks human extinction.
[3:02:22] Meanwhile, our Congress debates youth sports and the president builds a ballroom. An ancient
[3:02:31] establishment barely capable of email sleepwalks into a technological revolution while the president
[3:02:37] dismantles precautions and calls us fools for worrying. So you see this scenario and it fills you
[3:02:44] with dread. I get it. But Georgia, we can and will reclaim control over our own destiny. We can and will
[3:02:59] meet our obligations to our children. And it begins with victory this fall. Because Georgia, I refuse to
[3:03:09] leave my girls a world as dark and dangerous and cruel as this one threatens to become. I refuse to accept
[3:03:17] that Eva and Lila will grow up on a poisoned planet rearming for world war in a country where we have
[3:03:24] enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world a thousand fold, but we refuse to guarantee health care for
[3:03:29] every citizen. When Eva's old enough to ask me why I let this happen, I'm determined to answer truthfully,
[3:03:45] but I didn't. I'll tell her how the same year she turned five, Georgia overcame every doubt and dirty
[3:03:59] trick to not just win, but to set a new course for our state and our country and our world. That our
[3:04:07] generation didn't shrink from its obligations to hers. That we mastered technology instead of letting it
[3:04:13] master us. That we restored American leadership toward peace and human rights. And that we
[3:04:21] guaranteed health care for every single American. There's a portrait of Congressman Lewis right above
[3:04:38] my desk in my Senate office. And I promise you, his spirit is with us in this place right now. Right
[3:04:50] now. That we all live in one American house, in one world house. Do you remember? See,
[3:05:05] John Lewis knew and gave blood to make real what small men like Donald Trump and Mike Collins will
[3:05:11] never understand. That our national greatness flows not through our genes, but through our ideas and
[3:05:17] aspirations and care for one another. And from our founding ideals, despite our sins and through
[3:05:33] courageous struggle, the flame of American freedom has grown brighter and bolder and given hope to the
[3:05:38] whole world. But in the winds that blow today, that light is flickering. And from the Fulton County raid,
[3:05:49] to the executive order attacking voting, to the MAGA loyalists on our state election board, the election
[3:05:54] deniers and insurrectionists and their accomplices have made their intentions very clear. But Atlanta,
[3:06:01] when voting rights and civil rights that heroes died to secure are under attack, we defend those rights
[3:06:06] by using them. And that's why Georgia Democrats are answering with a mobilization so massive and a
[3:06:18] defense of voting rights so fierce that no plot against the franchise will foil the will of the
[3:06:24] people. Because how foolish of them to come to the cradle of the civil rights movement to spread those
[3:06:35] lies and seize those ballots. Their attacks have only strengthened our resolve. And if we all do what we
[3:06:44] must do these next six days, the sound of feet marching to the polls will be heard in every corner of our
[3:06:50] state and way up on high, where Congressman Lewis will look down and see a job well done. A wave is
[3:07:02] building the kind of wave that comes once a generation when the people have been pushed too far and decide
[3:07:09] all together all at once that enough is enough. We have six days, Georgia, and Georgia will bow to
[3:07:20] no. For nearly two years, we've seen our government transformed into a tool of one man's personal
[3:07:30] vengeance and power and enrichment. We've seen insurance stripped from cancer patients and hospitals
[3:07:38] closed services to fund tax cuts for the rich. We've seen prison camps for immigrants full of children.
[3:07:55] We've seen masked federal agents with license to kill demanding papers at police checkpoints.
[3:08:06] Each day, Donald Trump digs the moral pit deeper. But Pastor Bryant, isn't it in Proverbs that says,
[3:08:19] whoever digs a pit, whoever digs a pit will fall into it. And Georgia, over the last year,
[3:08:34] in defiance of his depravity, we've marched together in protest and we've gathered at rallies like this one
[3:08:40] that just keep getting bigger and bigger. We've come together in small towns and big cities in the
[3:08:52] mountains and on the coast and on the Georgia farms that feed and clothe the world. And now,
[3:08:57] Georgia, with just six days to go, I'm here to tell you I have no doubt our victory is near at hand.
[3:09:14] In six days, our juggernaut coordinated campaign will have turned out the vote like never before to
[3:09:20] elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown Reynolds, Tonya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot.

[3:30:07] In six days, our juggernaut coordinated campaign will have turned out the vote like never before
[3:30:13] to elect Josh McLaurin, Penny Brown Reynolds, Tonya Miller and Democrats up and down the ballot.
[3:30:23] In six days, we'll elect a Medicaid expanding Governor Keisha Lance Bottoms. And in six days,
[3:30:35] Georgia will rebuke the crook President Donald Trump with such clarity and power that no president will
[3:30:43] dare such abuses again for centuries. Now remember, he promised to lower prices on day one. Instead,
[3:31:17] under the failed President Donald J. Trump, it costs more than ever in American history to fill up your
[3:31:23] truck, stock your fridge, visit the doctor or power your home. They promised to drain the swamp. Instead,
[3:31:36] it's the most corrupt administration of all time and everybody knows it. And while the crook President
[3:31:46] and his crook family rake in billions from all over the world, you pay more for everything. They
[3:31:53] doubled your insurance premiums and slashed Medicaid to cut taxes for the rich. They lied us into war and
[3:31:59] spent most of the last year covering up for the world's most famous pedophile. You saw it. Now,
[3:32:16] remember, they also promised peace. They promised peace. Instead, today marks eight months of a needless
[3:32:30] war that the useless draft dodging Commander-in-Chief can't figure out how to end or how to win. Remember,
[3:32:42] last year, last year, they claimed Iran's nuclear program had been obliterated. Do you remember that?
[3:32:50] And then this year, they told us it posed an imminent threat. Both times lies.
