[00:00:00] Speaker 1: Good afternoon, traders. Let's take a look here at the USO sharply to the upside. Unfortunately, one of the few things that is to the upside because SPY gapping down here and NASDAQ also gapping down following a whole bunch of earnings that we need to talk about, but it wasn't just earnings. Sharif and I are going to get into this $6.3 billion Binance hack and some of the, as Sharif was mentioning to me, off-camera social media beefs here that are unfortunately resulting from this hack. But then you've got Sandisk, Amazon, Reddit. You've got, if I could spell Reddit properly, you've got Roblox. All of these stocks, unfortunately, sharply to the downside on earnings. There were some, you know, moments of earnings that were less bad than others. Rivian was relatively strong for what that was worth. But generally, unfortunately, for these big tech names on Halloween, it is a bloodbath.
[00:00:46] Speaker 2: Yeah, it is. I haven't seen it this bad in a long time. Good morning, guys. Yeah, lots of weakness in earnings. Amazon dropping aggressively on CapEx. Concerns, Intel, with some issues there in Israel, as well as weak forward guidance. IBIT, my goodness, here with BTC and the whole Binance issue. A couple of, it looks like a couple of tankers may have sank in the Strait of Hormuz, USO, continuing to break out into area highs. And if, you know, debt concerns weren't a big deal for Amazon, Microsoft, with a $25 billion debt offering here to fund what else? AI infrastructure, Starbucks reported earnings, Coinbase reported earnings, Reddit as well, my goodness, Rivian, SanDisk, amongst the names, Microsoft Strategies, Roblox, that was a bad one there, Twilio, as well as many others. There are lots of names to talk about, lots of earnings names to discuss.
[00:01:39] Speaker 1: Well, I'll start with you here, Shereen, before we go to some of our costumed compatriots. Because it's Halloween, I think it'd be, you know, unfortunately the market does look really spooky. But I want to be a little bit more optimistic. So we're going to go trick or treat. We're going to go one stock that looks pretty bad right now. You're going to kind of avoid it. And one stock, you know, the treat stock that you think might, maybe there's some potential here. It's not as bad as it first appears. So one trick, one treat.
[00:02:01] Speaker 2: Okay, so the trick, I guess the bad one, is Intel, obviously. Breaking down here about 25%. I did get into Intel for the first time ever this morning. And you're not going to believe what I have to say here, Dara, but the treat looks like Netflix. It's up 1% here, bucking the trend completely and holding $60. So I guess maybe it's sold off aggressively enough on the year that there is a bit of a bounce back. But not much green other than, you know, some Rivian names. And some others that are up on the morning.
[00:02:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that Netflix pick. It's a little bit out of left field, but I like it. And we're going to switch over to our Caution friends. Good morning, Neil. And good morning, Sean. Neil, welcome back here today. One trick and one treat.
[00:02:45] Prince Hakeem: Who?
[00:02:46] Speaker 1: Oh, sorry.
[00:02:48] Prince Hakeem: Who's Neil?
[00:02:49] Speaker 4: I'm Prince Hakeem. I apologize, Prince Hakeem. I'm just joking. I relish the opportunity to trade today. To you, actually. I feel like I'm going to be on a roll. Boom. One more. Okay. Okay, one more. One more. You know what, guys? To be frank with you, I feel like the market may be on the downswing today. One more thing over here.
[00:03:16] Prince Hakeem: One more. There it is.
[00:03:19] Speaker 4: There we go. We're ready to go. Not super excited, though, today, Neil. Glad to have you back. It sucks. Oh, man.
[00:03:26] Prince Hakeem: Everything sucks. Oh, my goodness. This is one of those mornings where, like, you just don't even want to look at any charts. I hope we can have a catch-up trade today. A catch-up trade? Oh, boy. Oh, my goodness. Oh, boy. This is...
[00:03:37] Speaker 1: Let's go through the trick or treat.
[00:03:39] Speaker 4: What's going on in your country, Prince, anyways? Maybe you guys are running the gold game?
[00:03:43] Prince Hakeem: Well, the good thing is we don't have to worry about stocks in Zamunda. Right. Right? Because, realistically... You guys are mining. We have resources you ain't ever even heard of, right? So, we don't worry about stocks. They just don't... The Prince, the royal family owns everything, so we don't have to worry about any of this nonsense. But let's just play this game for a quick little second. Not everybody can name it. Like, here's the thing. Intel's the trick.
[00:04:07] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[00:04:08] Prince Hakeem: Like, there's a lot of things that are bad, but Intel's the worst. Amazon's bad, too. Roblox is bad, too. Yeah. Reddit is bad, as well. Yeah, but... Like, every... But Intel, that's the one that took the cake, because I don't think anybody saw this kind of downslide. But if we're going to go with the treat, let's go with CVX. Let's go with the energy names, right? Like, that's fresh all-time highs. I'm assuming... Well, I mean, CVX did, so I'm going to assume XOS as well. So, you know, at least energy is up. And, yeah, respect to that. But, my goodness. What's going on, Intel? Arms down 9%.
[00:04:42] Speaker 4: But, Neil, the thing is, what are you even worried about? None of us own any of those stocks. We all own Rivian. I mean, look at Rivian. It's like the one stock I don't even own anymore. I know, of course. The one stock that nobody really cares about there. But, at least we made that call yesterday. Remember, it was yes guy, no guy. I said, we were like Rivian, yes guy. But we were also Intel, yes guy. But, yeah, nice move up there for Rivian. But, to your point, Neil, yeah, it's going to be a little bit of bloody streets here today. Down 2.5% already after losing 2% yesterday. So, yeah, man. It's going to be a fun one here today. And, let's just, you know, continue to celebrate. And, hopefully, who's the guy that eats all those hot dogs? Hopefully, he's not around here. Joey Chestnut. Joey Chestnut over here. One of the greatest athletes of all time. You just...
[00:05:24] Speaker 1: I know it's, you know, it's tough to mustard up the energy. Yeah. He's understaffed today. Can you give us the trick and the treat stock for today?
[00:05:32] Speaker 4: Oh, the trick and the treat stock. You know what? I'm honestly, I was just asking people in the chat. I think we just want to look directly at the NASDAQ today, whether or not you're trading futures contract, the Qs, the TQQs, even something like Soxel. Like, I think the whole market today definitely, you know, has that negative feel. The ES down 1%, obviously saved a little bit on the Dow by energy, as Neil was mentioning. But, Adara, I really do believe that today's real move down is just going to be followed across a wide variety of sectors. So, I would trade Soxel, SMH, the TQQs. Like, that's kind of where I'm looking right now, instead of individual stock strength or weakness. But, yeah, so for me, it'll be the market. It's so easy. And we could pick on a lot of different names. But, yeah, I don't know. We're going to wait to see what happens here with the NASDAQ.
[00:06:19] Speaker 1: Now, what about you, Joe? I mean, one trick, one treat stock.
[00:06:23] Speaker 5: All right, all right. First things first, guys. The way my bank account is set up, you see, not in the budget, Neil. I'm hoping you're getting that reference there. Kevin Hart, the way my bank account is set up. No money in the budget for the Halloween costume. No, I'm being sarcastic. But, anyways, trick, that's a great question. I'm going to go with Rivian being the trick here, all right? You're getting a nice bump. And the treat is actually the fact that you're getting some of these high-quality stocks at substantial discounts. Google down 30%. You have Amazon down bear market territory as well, too. You have some of the other names looking like they're going to head into that area. So, that's going to be my treat is the Mag 7 because not very often do you get them down 30% in a short period of time as well.
[00:07:05] Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that approach to the question. It's a little bit more abstract. And, yeah, before we go on further, guys, I saw a couple people in the chat got it right. Some people asked if I was Einstein. I am, in fact, former Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell because I thought it was a very timely costume. And, you know, we got the purple tie out here. So, I just wanted to address that because, guys, you know, inflation may not be transitory, but Halloween is. So, we have to embrace it while it's here. Boom. Let's get into, though, I mean, it's unfortunate to talk about, but we have to talk about some of these earnings, Sharif, because we alluded to one of them, and those four initials are INTC. But we have to talk about Amazon as well. I mean, there are some of their smaller reports. Sandisk was pretty interesting with that split, much to my personal chagrin. So, yeah, there's a lot to talk about.
[00:07:46] Speaker 2: Well, you know how analysts are. They're data dependent. Sorry. That was a good one. There's a lot there, Adara. Tough, tough look for Amazon here. I mean, they missed on the top line, but, again, what we're looking at is a ridiculous amount of CapEx, $220 billion. And the market is kind of shifting now from rewarding top-line RPO backlog into excessive CapEx. And so, you know, the cyclicality of the market is well documented. I feel like we're probably coming into that part of it. So, Amazon does concern me in that regard. But with respect to Intel, I was a little bitβthere was two parts to this. So, there was some Israeli outage at a foundry they have there. And that's going to take about $300 million of high-margin chips that they're not going to be able to make. And that is for the end of Q4. They'll be able to get it right after that. But then you also had the PC market weakness. And so, to me, it was like, can you see this coming? I mean, PC market, for me anyway, has been kind of, don't touch. And I feel like because Macs are just so much better, and their chips and the Apple silicon is just so much better, there's really no demand for that kind of product, or not as much, and it's not recovering. And that seems to be the case here with what they're saying. So, that is a little bit concerning. Last but not least, with respect to Amazon, AWS was really good. But it was, again, like the same thing we talked about yesterday, $110 billion in relying on Anthropik. And the market views that deal, the $110 billion there, as just part of the circularity of taking an equity investment and then taking back that money and buying it in chips. So, a lot to worry about. But there was also a lot of good, right? I mean, Intel's foundry business, that's not crap all over it. It's up 78% year over year, right? So, and that was one of the main parts of their business that they really struggled with under Patty G. And it's picked up under Lit Buu. So, not all, not all doom and gloom.
[00:09:48] Speaker 1: Yeah, and it's interesting because I know Lit Buu was initially not even excited about the foundry business at all. And yet, you know, he's done really well with it. So, I think that's an interesting look. And I appreciate you mentioning that for sure here. I'm going to turn to you, Sean, to start. Because as Sharif mentioned, there are a lot of bright spots in even, you know, the most poorly received reports today, like your Amazon, like your SanDisk, like your Intel. So, my thought is, I mean, do you think this market is just reacting to, as Sharif said, some worries about AI and Anthropik. Like, what do you think that the look is here in terms of trying to, because we never decipher exactly why things are happening, but trying to contextualize maybe why these drops are the extent to which they are.
[00:10:24] Speaker 4: I mean, Intel being down 25% today, at least I'm not the only thing being roasted in the market today. Ah, there it is. Yeah. Yeah, no, so for me, if we're going to take a positive spin on anything, I thought SanDisk was actually a pretty good report. We saw it actually start to head to the upside. Then they had the conference call, maybe they shouldn't have, all the way back down. They did solidify pricing, you know, concerns into 2030. So, it's still going to be a pretty tight market, just like Micron did out a couple years, which you don't normally hear guidance going out that far. So, I was actually pretty happy to see what SanDisk was doing there with that. And then I also liked it there. You talked about some little green shoots that we could find. I always think a stock split is a green shoot. And so, for me, that's a positive thing. I mean, we'll be trading more SanDisk on the show once it gets back into like the 200, well, wherever it settles, $200 marker or whatever that's going to be once it goes 8 to 1. So, for me, I think that's kind of the shining armor piece here for SanDisk is the fact that it does get repriced soon with the split. So, I think that's a positive there. Better for the options market. Obviously, we know that doesn't change the value of the company at all. It just changes maybe the trading dynamics of it. But, yeah, that's pretty bad. And then if you want to go with something else, a little bit positive. And, you know, we can say this yesterday. We got in, you know, at the beginning of the day yesterday in and around this 281, 280 marker on Google. And it's actually holding up quite well. And with Amazon being down 6% or 7%, you know, the negativity in the chip sector, I think we can put on our positive cap here a little bit. And today we got our TV cap on. And look and say, Google's, you know, it's not flat. It's down 1% today. But that's not bad. So, I think there's some little tidbits here that we can hang our hat on there and not get all worked up about because the worst, bratwurst, is maybe still to come.
[00:12:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'm trying to think of, and there will be more hot dog funds for sure. We'll try, we'll try. And maybe some hot dog trades as well. So, stay tuned, guys. But I'm going to turn over to you here, Joe, because I know your approach to the market is very much, you know, buy the dip, buy these things when they're down. So, my question is, because sometimes, you know, you can buy these dips and these stocks continue to sell off. So, my question would be, are there any specific areas in, you know, the futures or any of these ETFs that, not to give advice, but that traders should maybe watch out for, that could serve as areas of decision, especially given that, you know, two of the major names selling off today are components of these wider ETFs.
[00:12:51] Speaker 5: Yeah, I want to add to Sean's point there because things could get a little bit worse before they get better, right? So, it's really important to note that and how you allocate your position is really important as well. So, you need to divide it up into tranches. And if it decides to work in your favor, well, then, so what if you have 20%, 30% deployed? But you want to be able to grab some of these names at a discounted price. Now, going back from a technical standpoint, Brian Shannon and I actually had the conversation, Adaira, and it was towards the NASDAQ. And I said, man, what's going on here? All we're getting is a 3% pullback, a 4% pullback. The depth isn't there. When are we going to get that deeper pullback in the overall market? Because Sharif and I agree, at some point, we will. And I think we're starting to approach that right now, okay? So, it's just really important. You don't want to go all in at once and you don't want to break it up into increments where you only have a couple of opportunities to buy. You want to give yourself more breathing room than what you actually think. Because as I mentioned, and as we often say, the market can remain insolvent longer than you can say liquid, right? So, one thing here is that this extension on my chart, going all the way from March to this peak here, 32%, I would have liked to see a healthy pullback within that period. We did not get it. Eventually, we did, but it wasn't deep, and then we just got bought right back up. But now what we're starting to form is a shelf. These shelves can be extremely dangerous, and I'm going to be looking at anything south of 690 or 700 on the NASDAQ, and same with some of the other big names. What shelves got broken over the previous couple of earnings reports, Adara? Well, there was a shelf at 337. There was a shelf at 317 on Google, and the exact same thing with Amazon. So, I think it's only a matter of time until we see that breach when it comes to the NASDAQ, and I think that's a pretty good time to start deploying some of your tranches.
[00:14:43] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I'll turn to you here, Neil, because I know we talked about this off-camera and on-camera, but Intel, I think, obviously, maybe the bigger concern about it. So, I want to turn away from this one, maybe to some of these other smaller tech names where you might still have some potential, like Roblox and Reddit. Those are both rough reports, but do you think there's any potential chance of a rebound here, maybe before we get that big tech rebound, given that, A, there's been a lot of destruction here, unfortunately, with these reports, and, B, we've got more big tech reports to come, even on Monday.
[00:15:13] Prince Hakeem: Well, you know what? Like, Roblox is having, well, sorry, Roblox. Reddit's having their battle and their war with Alphabet right now, and they're making some pretty extreme changes. Well, not extreme, but they're making some changes, trying to go to getting people to sign in, and that'll drive, hopefully, you know, better numbers for advertising for them. So, I think, structurally, they're going through some stuff. Roblox, I feel like we already have heard a lot of the worst. Like, it's one of the few stocks out there, at least, that has made a local or a recent bottom so that when it's crapped down 17%, you actually have reasonably recent levels where there have been buyers. As Shreve was putting it when I sat down, at least it's still in an uptrend from the lows. Like, if you go back to their last report level, it's still putting in higher lows over that, and there's like a $41 level that could come into play. But the downside that I would say for that is, yes, it does give you a local bounce spot where you can maybe look for support today or, I guess, next week. And then, of course, we have to worry about the midterms, too. But this stock, unlike, say, SanDisk, unlike Amazon, unlike Alphabet yesterday, like, if you go out to, like, weeklies and monthlies, you're not exactly talking about an upward trend. So, in the higher time frame, some of these other names, you can say you're buying the dip, as Joe pointed out, into somewhat longer-term uptrends. With Roblox, it's not the case. This one is still, on any higher time frame, in a downward trajectory, momentum has been slipping. Like, my daughter still loves it. Her friends all love it. It just hasn't really seemed to matter for them. So, yeah, $41 might look good today for a potential bounce spot, because that's local support. But, yeah, the long-term trend here looks nasty. Like, that's one that, for me, I'd want to be staying away from. It's going to feel like there's a lot of, obviously, there's a lot of negativity today. But I think we have to keep in mind, almost every single time we've looked nasty to the downside, what are we, almost 3% on the NASDAQ, there have been buyers that have stepped in at some point in the first half an hour. And, you know, it's like that, when's the one day when that's not going to happen? It hasn't happened yet, but you get fearful when there aren't dip buyers early on. Let's see that and say, okay, let's put some bids in in the morning. And when you don't get that in the open session, that's where you get into a little bit of trouble. So, you know, hopefully we find some of those today. I know Intel's got a 65 level that could come into play. It's not breaking through that yet. And similar with Roblox at 41, like, most of these stocks will have some nice little Alamos out there that you want to hold.
[00:17:57] Speaker 1: There's actually a chat for you on the screen here from George Lerma asking if you work at McDowell's. I don't personally get the reference, but I'm going to spread the word. Oh, apparently it's from the movie. So thank you to Andre for translating that for me. But yes, there you go.
[00:18:10] Prince Hakeem: Well, you know what? Not only do I work at McDowell's, but I did one stop an armed robbery there. And, you know, with nothing but a broomstick. I like that. It's hilarious because it turns out that the gentleman who tried to rob the McDowells, he ended up being a Jedi. I didn't know this at the time, but he was a Jedi. He also, he eventually later on, he fought and lost against some dinosaurs. I mean, it's incredible. Like, this guy has had an unbelievable trajectory. And then it turns out he was an Avenger as well.
[00:18:46] Speaker 1: Did he also run a radio station in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn?
[00:18:49] Prince Hakeem: He absolutely did. So you never know who you're going to run into. And, you know, McDowell's is a fantastic organization. I think everybody has to start somewhere. And if it's, look, man, if it's making milkshakes or serving burgers, that's a good stepping stone. But, you know, you have to take advantage of those opportunities when you get them.
[00:19:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, and we're going to talk about some crypto here. But I do have to shout out this $2 super chat from Frederico Vaughn, Yummy Pants. Adara's impeccable pun skills are not transitory. So thank you for that. And happy Halloween to everybody out here. But let's talk a little bit about some of this crypto to kind of, unfortunately, take the mood down some of the watches. Because this is not a fun story by any means. It could have some pretty bad, I think, you know, after effects here for this sector. But I bet down sharply. A lot of these crypto names down sharply. Yes, we had Coinbase and MSK earnings. But that's not why. It's because of this $6.3 billion Binance hack.
[00:19:44] Speaker 2: Yeah, so really interesting. So CZ, all over X yesterday, really trying to do a lot of damage control, giving advice, thanking people who were helping him. I'll get to that in a second. But what I really found interesting was a little bit of a tit for tat exchange between him and Elon. Elon basically putting on X saying, zero day is every day. And he's been saying that for a long time. And of course, for our viewers, zero day exploits are exploits, hacks, essentially, that only existed today. They were discovered today. So zero day seems to be a continuing thing with these LLMs that are exploiting a lot of previously unknown vulnerabilities. So $6.3 billion was what was taken. Let's get to the numbers, though. $2.37 was recovered. How? It was intercepted both by Tether and USDC. So Circle made an interception of $600 million. And then Tether intercepted $1.57 billion. CZ thanked them for helping, of course. So it looks like it's a concerted effort within the crypto community to kind of do damage control here. The attack didn't actually expose any cryptography in crypto. It was more of internal. So it was like a link. Somebody within Binance clicked or something like that, that, you know, one of these socially engineered hacks. So it wasn't any breach of any crypto, crypto, crypto, what am I trying to look for? The word here, help me out. Security vulnerabilities. Last but not least, there was a bit of an issue with market makers. Because so much liquidity got taken off, Binance essentially suspended withdrawals. Market makers here really took advantage of the lack of liquidity. And the bid-ask spread was some of the widest. We had had essentially bid-ask spreads and quote depth as well also caused problems overnight. It's a 24-hour market. So really interesting development here. We'll have to see if he's able to get some more money back. It's North Korea widely being blamed for being responsible for this hack. But of course, unconfirmed as of yet.
[00:21:53] Speaker 1: Yeah, it'll be interesting to see if we get any confirmation from that. But I think that might be, you know, kind of, we'll have to wait and see on that. Now, I'm going to start with you here, Neil. This is obviously not a good look here for the crypto space. I mean, do you think there are any, like, safe havens? I want to talk to Sean about the crypto side of the boat list in a second. Do you think there are any safe havens within the crypto space right now? I mean, do you think this is a time to maybe pivot towards some of these metals? I hate to pull Peter Schiff here, but I think it's worth discussing. Like, what's your kind of thought here on investors who are looking at this crypto space right now?
[00:22:24] Prince Hakeem: I don't think that this is a moment where you can say, oh, this is going to end up being good for gold. I think it's just maybe searching a little bit too far here. Like, for all of the fear and doom and gloom, we were just talking about, you know, with Kevin the other day, Kevin O'Leary, and we were talking about how it was supposed to be quantum. And then it just ends up being, like, a regular, you know, regular, actually, run-of-the-mill is the wrong thing to use when you're talking about billions here. But it is sort of, like, the run-of-the-mill exploits. And it just, it gives you two things. I think the safety might be buying dips, because it's just for the proof, buying dips on anything, and cybersecurity might be a good way to go. But this is about sentiment. This is about feelings. And this is about fear. And that's where we're at right now. So, yeah, you can say most of it was recovered. Oh, it's not the end of the world, and they're going to make people whole. That can all be well and good. But you lost $80,000. Circle lost a big shelf at $80. That's an important one. If it doesn't regain it, momentum is going in the other direction. It was already looking weak, and momentum is going in the other direction. And the other thing to consider here when it comes to crypto is, yeah, we bounced off $60,000, got cut in half. But we really never pressed all that far. You couldn't break $90,000 on Bitcoin. So, I look at Circle in this $80,000 level in particular. If you want to prove that this is a blip, okay, well, that's the shelf that was lost. If you don't regain this shelf, then, to me, you're starting kind of a new downtrend. It was already in one, to be honest with you, from the highs. Like, this was downward trending to begin with. So, this is a sentiment thing. And if you can prove that you regain these levels, no biggie. But that's obviously not happened yet, and a lot to prove. And there's going to be some stocks that have levels out there. Circle's one of them. I mean, there's so many of these today. Where you could literally bounce 5%, bounce almost 10%. And then when you go out and look at the daily charts, like, oh, well, that's nice. That actually hasn't proven much of anything. It could be trapping people early. Pickle me timbers. I have to look to my left to read some of these to be able to find it. I know you will get me back 100x when you get your throne back in Nigeria. There you go.
[00:24:57] Speaker 4: Except it's Zemunda. I keep sending all my money to. I mean, all these Nigerian princes that keep emailing me. Finally, we have one back in the building now. So, it's great to find out.
[00:25:05] Prince Hakeem: It's all about being authentic. At the end of the day, like, there are some that will have these phishing scams that are not actual princes. And some of us happen to be so.
[00:25:15] Speaker 1: I just noticed there's a head on your, I just thought it was like a shawl. I just noticed it has a head attached to it.
[00:25:20] Prince Hakeem: It keeps falling down. You know, the crazy thing is, it's actually quite warm. Like, it's just some cheap prop. But, like, the left shoulder is a lot warmer. Oh, yeah. We got the weight on there, too. I'll take it.
[00:25:31] Speaker 1: I like that. Well, let's talk some crypto with Sean here. Because I know you and Kevin O'Leary were talking about this on Tuesday. We mentioned the quantum angle. I mean, what are your kind of thoughts here going forward for crypto security? Do you think some of these cyber security names could be in play? Like, are there any other sectors outside of crypto that could be in focus related to this hack?
[00:25:47] Speaker 4: So, I was just looking at, you know, Bitcoin in general. And, you know, with this being one of the biggest hacks, I think Sharice points are well taken there. You know, the fact that they sort of came together and supported, you know, like, by stopping some of the sales of some of these coins. You know, Tether getting involved there, USDT, obviously, USDC talked about, you know, Circle getting involved. I think the community coming together to try to help out Binance here and the fact that it was patched up and solved relatively quickly actually gives a good little, I think, a better bid for Bitcoin. I mean, we're all very nervous about keeping our, you know, our coins on exchange. You know, we always talk about sort of that cold storage. Maybe this is just more of a wake-up call to those individuals to say, hey, maybe we don't need to keep all of our coins on exchange. Keep them cold storage. Keep them off so that you don't have to worry about getting hacked like that. You know, and most of us know that already, you know, or you're sitting in an iBid. I mean, sitting in an iBid, sure, you play a little bit of a management fee, but again, you're not susceptible to some of these hacks. So maybe there's a lesson to be learned there. The, you know, the funny thing is yesterday, this happens on the eve of Coinbase's earnings, you know, so it's like poor Coinbase. They were actually doing quite well, starting to hold up some of these bids. Then the hack happens, and all of a sudden people are starting to lose a little bit of faith here now in some of the exchanges and in, you know, what crypto and the safety of crypto. So, you know, Neil talked about a little bit about metals there. You brought that to his attention. But I think Coinbase is the one that gets hit here unreasonably. You know, they had a decent quarter. I thought that they could have actually gone a little bit higher. We caught Sia was all celebrating yesterday because she made the call of Coinbase. Now it's down 6%. And I know that, I think Dave, we had some super chats yesterday where they were buying some Coinbase. I just think it's unfortunate that this happens on the eve of their earnings report. But I do like that level on Circle. That would be where I would look. I do believe, and you talked about Kevin O'Leary. He was sitting here talking about USDC and all of that, right? And so I think that would be Circle. And if people are, you know, still using that in, you know, different countries, maybe not here quite yet in North America, I think Circle is a good play in and around these levels. But it's too bad for Coinbase because I feel like they could have had an up day. And maybe this $150 winds up holding. If there's any dip by opportunities, I think we've got to look to Coinbase on rebuild the strength there in Bitcoin. If Bitcoin starts to go, I want to be on Coinbase today.
[00:28:14] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's a good one to keep an eye on here. And we're going to bring in Michael Laws in a second. Before we do that, though, I want to talk to Joe because I know you follow crypto. And yesterday, you were asking about MSTR earnings. And I've never heard anybody ask about MSTR earnings because this company is not usually a huge earnings play. But I mean, with that in mind, do you have any looks on MSTR today specifically? Because I know it was one you were kind of excited about.
[00:28:33] Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, I would go the IBIT route there, though, Adara. But obviously, we know when it comes to MSTR, it's an indirect leverage style of play, right? Obviously, it's a treasury style of play. So from the earnings, I didn't even dig into that one. But I would look at IBIT over what we've seen in MSTR. I think this is going to get swept under the rug eventually. And then it's going to probably intrigue CZ to, hey, maybe I need to get a little bit better cybersecurity. Call up some of the cybersecurity names like PANW and the CrowdStrikes of the world and say, hey, we really need to shore this up, especially with the technology getting better. So you have hackers. There's always been hackers. But now they have access to all these different tools and LLMs. They can get better. But I think you'll have the ability to fight fire with fire here. So hopefully they get everything cleaned up. And Binance isn't allowed here in Ontario. I don't know what it's like in other provinces, but I remember it was in 2022 or 2023 is when Dougie put on the big no, no, no. Binance, you're at a dodge here. You're not welcome because you don't meet some of the regulatory standards when it comes to that stuff. So I'm not overly worried about it. I have more IBIT than I do in the actual Bitcoin currency. And if I use something, a different brokerage is actually a part cold storage as well, too. So you're kind of safe from some of these hacks. But before we get into Michael Noss, I actually want to I want to touch on a couple of options things here. So give me about 30 seconds. We'll go over some levels here, guys. This is the Nasdaq. 695, 18,000 contracts here, ladies and gentlemen. But where the real size is standing here on this expiration is at 690, 61,000. So there is a little bit of demand here. And then as for overhead resistance, 705 could be a potential ceiling. But you can see that we start to form this a bit of congestion here through these multiple strike prices. We'll go over one more before we get Noss boss on here. Sorry to keep you waiting, my friend. But we'll talk some levels here real quick. And then we'll get into our conversation. As soon as this loads, that would be absolutely fantastic. As for the spice, 755, a lot of size here, 760. Looks like a base potentially as well, demand zone there. And then you can see the concentration through 762 all the way up to 769 in the highest size here being at 770. So let's see if these levels hold up. We can find a potential floor. We know what some of the ceilings can be as well, too, when it comes to the NASDAQ and the S&P 500.
[00:30:55] Speaker 1: Well, thank you for going over that, Joe. We're not going to raise rates this morning, but we are going to raise the bar by bringing in an always awesome guest. It's Mr. Michael Noss himself. Great to have you on here with us today. And happy Halloween. But you want to talk about a stock that's kind of spooking the market today. Yeah.
[00:31:11] Speaker 6: Yeah, well, you know, if you are an Intel holder, you're definitely having a little bit of a spooky day out there. And I wanted to see if there was a trade here, right? So you can see the bear poking out with Intel. But again, if you're under the rock, you haven't seen Intel. It's down 25% today. And I think this is a bigger deal than just any generic stock, right? Stocks go up and down all the time because it's not only an S&P 500 name, it's an S&P 100 name. So it means 100 largest companies out there. It's, I think, when I checked, 3% to 4% of the entire index. And, of course, a bellwether for the whole AI trade. So I just wanted to take a deep dive into this and say, hey, what does this mean a little bit for the market going forward? And then also, is there any trades that we could potentially take here from a day trading standpoint or a swing trading standpoint, being that it's such a large and liquid name? So I went back, you can see 1,100 instances of this since 1999 of a 20% or more crash that has happened in an S&P 500 name. So, again, I'm not worried about, you know, a penny stock that goes up or down 20%. And it's like, that's no big deal. But just giant, huge household names that you'll recognize what ends up happening, whether there's any sort of edge to be had here. So the first slide here is essentially just the chart and just showing the difference. The split that I put was a 200-day moving average. And this is because it's very watched. Institutions are big on it. Us quants use it all the time for a simple trend indicator. If you're above the 200-day moving average, you're in an uptrend. If you're below, you're in a downtrend. And I just wanted to separate them as what happens if it crashes from above the 200-day moving average, in which Intel did, or if it crashes from below the 200-day moving average. You know, the CMT hat of me would say, oh, well, you want stuff that's above the 200-day moving average. But it turns out dead wrong there. So on the next chart is essentially just showing the relative performance of what happens to these names on average after a 20% or more crash. And I separated between above the 200-day moving average, which is the red line, and then below the 200-day moving average, which is the green line. So you can see from any time frame up to a year out, generally after a move like this, you have relative underperformance of the S&P 500 when it comes to what's happening. If the crash happens below the 200-day moving average, think Nike that happened recently, that actually seems to have a better outcome. And I think it makes sense, right? The biggest bounces happen in bear markets. It's a lot easier for a stock that's down 80% to double or even to go up like 20%, 30%, 40% than something like Intel that even after what's happened here, it's still, I think, like doubled on the year. It's still an amazing performance, just not recently. So crashes above the 200-day moving average, just holding them doesn't seem to be something that works. And I verified that with this next slide here, which is just the equity curve. So this is what happens if you just bought every time, you just bought the dip the way I think, you know, if you look on Twitter, they'll probably tell you to do for this name. You get essentially no return. You can see all these lines are moving flat with huge drawdowns. And these drawdowns generally happen around bear markets. You have 2000, 2008, 2020, but 80% drawdown for next to no money. So you're doing worse than the S&P 500 in every respects when you're buying just blindly names that crash like this and just holding them to say, hey, it's in a discount now. I potentially want to buy it. But what about day trading? Let's go into this chart. So this chart's a little bit complicated to see on screen. But the left chart is what just me running this particular scenario through some very standard day trading models and some models that I use myself and on day one. And then the other chart is on day two. So we'll start with day one and just focus on the green ones. Just the models are, you know, buying the open or shorting the open, buying at 1030. So an hour after the open, buying a reclaim, a break back through VWAP, buying an opening range breakout. Right. These are all very standard kind of systems that people are taught in trading. And the only thing that actually works on this particular day with a 54% win rate and a 1.3 risk reward is a failed push over the first hour high. So if Intel breaks the high of the first hour's range and then starts to trade back down, shorting it there has a 54% win rate on trades like this. Nothing really from the long side ended up working from, again, these generic setups that I think are fairly common ones that I use as well. That's day one. Day two gets a little bit more interesting where you can see a couple of these are actually pretty decent trades and pretty decent scenarios. Buying at 1030 on Monday seems to have a 55% win rate. You wait for that first hour to kind of calm and then you buy it. In all of these scenarios, we're just holding until the end of the day just to give you guys a framework and then maybe some unique trades to do from there. The one that I want to focus on the far right there is a reclaim of VWAP. So if on Monday it spends its first 30 minutes or so below VWAP and then if you buy it back through VWAP, there's a 60% chance that you're up 2% from that. So that's just some basic statistics on generally speaking how to trade. And the main takeaway is that there was no very good positive setup to the long side I could find on day one on a big crash on a big name like this. Likely because it's all over the news and everyone's all scared and spooked out. But on day two, there does seem to be some opportunity to have there. And next chart just shows that at some point a bounce comes in. I think it's kind of a bit of an obvious statement, but the green lines are essentially the probability of a 3% that we are 3% or more above whatever the close of today happens in the first five days, 10 days, 20 days, and so on. So there's, you know, a 80% chance that we are going to be at least 3% over today's close at some point in the next 20 days. And then there is a 76% chance we're 5% and only a 47% chance that we are 10% above. So a bounce comes in at some point, but I say take it, don't marry it is the title of the slide for that very reason. It's, this is just to show people that if you are looking to buy the dip from a swing trading standpoint, you can, there is some stats behind it. Now, these numbers alone don't make up a trading system because we don't know how big the drawdown is before the bounce or anything like that. But if you mark today's close, again, there's an 80% chance at some point you rally 3% above that. So don't just kind of forget it, but also don't marry these things because you can see after a period of time, the return kind of drops off a clip. So could be a couple day trade there again after today's action, which kind of seems to be a bit of a theme here. Next chart is the index, whether or not how much a giant name like this, an S&P 100 name specifically crash affects the index. On the left is the Qs, on the right is the SPY, just showing that day one, yeah, it has a pretty decent effect. You know, we're seeing that right now in the SPY or in the Qs, right? The Qs are down 2.5%, but the RSP, the average large cap stock is actually up on the day. So it's a big cap, it's a big weighted name in these index. So it's going to pull them down, but generally only for one day. The rest of those, it doesn't seem to affect at all. It's just a flip whether or not, you know, you're talking 50 some odd percent chance you're up a little bit. And you compare that to the gray bars, which are the control. It's again, it's about random. So day one, this is definitely going to drag us down after a week or so. The market just kind of forgets about it a little bit and then moves on from there. Now, lastly, the Intel has done this before. And if you just look at Intel, but it's a very small study, it actually does have a pretty good chance of bouncing. So each of these charts are after more than a 15% down move in Intel. And a lot of them, funny enough, have happened in the last couple of years. And in all but one cases in these different names, it actually worked. So when Intel in August, 2024, it went down 26%. And then you can see it slowly ground higher. And then Intel in 2026, it went down 17%. And then it made new highs. The bottom ones are UnitedHealth and Meta, just to show that some of these, right? UnitedHealth just kind of fell apart there. Meta reclaimed as well. So Intel does have a history of doing this and popping back up. But that's a two, you know, end of two studies. So it's not something that I would work out too much. So for today, in the last slide here for today, all I'm watching for is that potential failed bounce for a potential re-short of this one. Monday, I think I'm going to watch for that VWAP reclaim to see if we get that for a trade as well. But nothing from a swing trading standpoint actually stood out to me at all. Just be very, very careful, I think, for all the calls that will happen of buy the dip. Because that stat of, generally speaking, for over a year later, you get an underperformance year. That's very interesting to me. But this time certainly could be different. But, yeah, the stats are not good for what's happening here on Intel.
[00:40:46] Speaker 1: Well, I have a question here because I noticed that with what happened with INTC this quarter, and I'll go see if I can go all the way back here to kind of show this, you're dropping from, you're above the 20-day and then you drop below it. Now that looks really similar to what happened to UNH, where you were above it and then you dropped below it. So my question is, is that move from above to below, do you think that is maybe more kind of significant? And I mean, with that in mind as well, for maybe stop levels or profit targets for this potential trade, without giving advice here, do you think that 200 would be a level to watch out for as potential resistance?
[00:41:24] Speaker 6: Yeah, and I think it is significant because of the, I believe, 200 or so results that were crashing from above the 200-day moving average, nearly all of them, when you get a 20% move, get below that 200-day moving average. So you have that push down very often. And, you know, like the data was showing, they are generally incredibly weak. And I think part of it might be, you know, what I mentioned in the beginning is that there's a lot of quant funds and everything that are trading the 200-day moving average. They use it as a basic trend indicator. Well, you got to think, on the open, a lot of those systems are now going to say, well, Intel was in an uptrend because it was above the 200-day moving average. Well, now our system is going to classify it as a downtrend because below the 200-day moving average and potentially get out of a position, more shorts may enter. I think that flip, because it's such an algorithmically watched level, could be something that when it moves that significantly, I think the 200-day moving average in and of itself could be the reason why these things end up struggling.
[00:42:32] Prince Hakeem: Thank you for the analysis, Michael. And I appreciate you participating in Halloween there.
[00:42:40] Speaker 6: I brought props and everything, man. I know. The Intel bear. This is my favorite axe I brought. And my second favorite axe, just in case, that one would put on stream. Look, you bullied me into it. I'm here.
[00:42:53] Prince Hakeem: Kicking it old school. So actually, the question I had for you, which is, you had a lot of sample size for the overall gap down to 20%. So the first question would be, and then I want to ask you something about Bitcoin. The first question would be, did you look at, first of all, did you look at any specific sectors? Were you able to sort of narrow that down a step further and say, okay, well, these sectors tend to bounce back better when they have 20% down days, those kind of crazy days? Or they're ones that tend to lag if they so happen to end up in that range. And then the second part is, what are your thoughts on these kind of wipeout days on, say, like Bitcoin and crypto when this happens? Because when something is seen as like a feature, does that affect your mentality in buy the dip when it's so much more normal, I think, for people to recognize crypto pulling back heavily?
[00:43:49] Speaker 6: Yeah, and to go one step further on crypto, I tried the 2.5% gap down on the queues to see if there's anything there. And just that was nothing. So I didn't end up presenting that. But it's important to note that, yeah, when it comes to overall indices and Bitcoin as a whole, which I looked at, these are just kind of wash days. They don't really have any sort of edge one way or another. The more impactful thing is that on something like Intel, you guys know, I didn't see the earnings report. I don't know what they said. But these are fundamental shifts where people are no longer as interested in this company as they were before. They're not, you know, little tiny changes that would have happened. You know, a 2% move in the queues is pretty normal. And even, you know, 5% in Bitcoin, I'd say, is pretty standard as well. So I don't think those are as much of a signal. And then when it came to the different sectors, what was interesting is that this is very rare outside of a bear market. So when you look at 2000, there was a whole bunch of tech names that did this. And then they all went to zero, which is why it's important that when you're doing this study, just pay for data with survivorship bias. I do, so I have pets.com and Bed Bath & Beyond and everything in this data set because it's important to know in these scenarios which ones just never come back and go bankrupt. And generally, again, it happens around bear markets. So 2000, you had a lot of tech names. 2008, you had a lot of financial names. Even during the regional bank crisis, there was a lot of those that came up where those just disappeared as well. The ones that held true and had the best probability of bouncing are the more boring names. You know, if Apple ever dropped a bunch, the ones that are, you know, very cash heavy, you know, they're not so much a, I don't know if even you'd classify Apple as a growth stock anymore. It's more of a staple, I would say. Those type of boring names have a way better chance. UNH, right, working its way back up now, things like that. But yeah, the more volatile names, your techs, your biotechs, that type of thing, they are obviously more risky on both sides. But because of what happens when it does a 20% down move, it's generally news related. There was very few scenarios where this was something that you just want to buy the dip on and it rips right back up to highs.
[00:46:10] Speaker 5: Gotcha. Fantastic stuff. Hey, Michael, how's it going? What's going on, man? What's going on, brother? All right, so surprisingly so. I'm looking at the SPY here. We're down 2.7%. The Nasdaq is down 10%. But we've seen the strength and we can identify the rotation out of some of these tech names into the staples, as you just brought up, and into the financials, healthcare, performing relatively well here as well, too. So do you think we can use this as a gauge? Is that maybe when we start seeing a pullback in the staples, financials, and healthcare, do you think we can use that as a gauge, maybe back into a rotation, and look at the Nasdaq once again, once we see a little bit deeper of a pullback in those three names that I just brought up?
[00:46:50] Speaker 6: Yeah, I think that's exactly right. Biotech's made an all-time high yesterday. IVB made a new all-time high. If you bring up the monthly chart, and we'll go through monthly charts there on Monday when we have the final data, it's a little bit cheating right now, but the monthly chart of the RSP, the equal-weight S&P 500, is amazing. We're very close to making a new monthly all-time closing high on the average stock out there. So this is very much a targeted kind of a sell-off where AI is kind of falling apart a little bit on some of these names. But I think, to add, I guess, a bright end to this, I think that it's overall bullish because the perma bears, they were always saying, just wait until the AI bubble bursts. It's going to be awful for everything, and everything's going to be bad. But we're seeing, potentially, an AI bubble burst, and we have, like you mentioned, healthcare at all-time highs, biotech at all-time highs, financials are doing great, RSP, the average large-cap stock, very close to an all-time high. So we're not seeing people run from the market or run from the economy. What we're seeing is people say, okay, maybe the AI trade was a little bit overshot. Let's get out of that, and then let's buy back into other names out there. So I think the exact same thing happens on the opposite. Maybe this is a big tax thing, so maybe in the new year is the next time we see that rotation back. And, of course, we have the midterms on Tuesday. That may actually shake these things up a bit. But, yeah, I want to start to see a lot of these more, I guess, boring sectors start to cool off a bit before I'm interested in buying back into the tech trade.
[00:48:31] Speaker 1: Thank you so much for being here with us today, Mr. Michael Noss. Happy Halloween. Enjoy your weekend. And, guys, you will all see Michael again here at 8.30 a.m. on Monday. You can catch him with us every Monday and Friday around that time. Great to have you with us, and we will see you soon. Happy Halloween to you and yours.
[00:48:47] Speaker 6: Happy Halloween. Be safe.
[00:48:50] Speaker 1: We're going to get into these upgrades and downgrades in a minute, but I want to start by kind of summarizing this week here because there's just, like, a lot to talk about for sure this week. I mean, even this month, like, this is the last trading session of the month, guys, so there's just so much to get into. I mean, from some of these big tech earnings we had this week and last week, you also had the FOMC, and which, again, two dissenting votes, one of which was pretty surprising at that FOMC decision. Plus, PCE, like, what really stood out to you from this week and even going further this month, Sharif?
[00:49:18] Speaker 2: So the narrative shift here with respect to earnings, again, like I said earlier when we spoke briefly about the Amazon earnings, the markets kind of stopped rewarding the top-line RPO acceleration and started sort of, you know, making them pay for spending a little bit too much CapEx. So definitely a bit of a narrative shift there. That's more from the earnings, large tech cap. With respect to the FOMC, of course, you've got those two dissenting votes. I don't think we got much in the way of a change. I think we're expecting something along the lines of an 85% to 90% probability for a raise in, I was about to say next month, almost next month, December. So I think unless something fundamentally changes, it's a foregone conclusion. We also got GDP numbers, which showed, again, the top quintile of society is doing well, whereas the bottom is not. It's very much a K-shaped economy. Listen to this. Q3 GDP, nearly half of Q3 GDP growth, anyway, was propelled by gross private domestic investment, which popped up about 20% on the quarter. So definitely the rich propping up the market at the moment. And then last but not least, we talked a lot about this as well when we spoke about Amazon and Google. NVIDIA is very much the bellwether for the AI trade. They report late, okay? If we see some softness in NVIDIA's revenue because the hyperscalers are going at it through the ASICS route, I think this is going to be trouble. And this has been a very, very explicit point that Google and Amazon have made. They said, we're going to do our own in-house custom ASICS so we can forego NVIDIA's ridiculous mid-70% gross margins. So somebody, there has to, it's a zero-sum game here. So I want to see sort of how this all plays out. Is this the quarter? Is it the next quarter? Is it next year? When do we see softness? That's mine.
[00:51:19] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's an interesting look for sure. I'm going to turn to you here, Neil, because I kind of want to get your take, which is like what I asked you, Rafe. What do you think is like the biggest takeaway that we got from this week? Is it some of this economic data? Is it some of this, you know, Fed talk? Is it any of these earnings reports? Like what is your be-all end-all from this week?
[00:51:37] Prince Hakeem: Well, I would love to be able to say that it's the, hey, look, the 10 years under 5% after Fed, after PCE wasn't hot, came as expected. Obviously, there was growth there, but it wasn't all that hot. But you'd like to be able to point to this as a positive because seemingly it would be, right? Yields coming down, the entirety of the last month, effectively, they've calmed down. And we're sitting at 495. But I actually think what ended up being the bigger takeaway is more circularity. Like we're talking about, you know, like Amazon will talk about how so much of their revenues is from Anthropic. Well, SpaceX also said 35% of their revenues is from Anthropic. So what we end up having is anybody that's concerned about the circular nature or the dependent nature of this AI trade, none of that has gotten quelled this earnings season. You know, and so you don't quell that. And then you have some misses here or there from some of the big cap names. And that's just, that's the problem. That's the big story. Like you, you, you wanted to show some signs that there wasn't as much interdependency here. And you've got the exact opposite so far in earnings. And from a sentiment standpoint, the market just doesn't like it at all. So, you know, we can't, the market's not celebrating 495 on the 10 year. They're freaking out about how everyone's independent, interdependent on each other and how NVIDIA is capitalizing everybody. And that's something that, you know, the market's going to have to shift through. It is what it is. You can't, you can, whether you agree or disagree, it's what's happening.
[00:53:22] Speaker 1: I want to turn to you here, Sean. I'm going to ask you more of a forward-looking question because Monday night, one of your favorite companies, Palantir reports, Apple also reports. I mean, which of these do you like better heading into this earnings release? Someone who I know obviously closely watches both of them. But I do always associate Palantir with you a little bit because of that hat, because you're following this for the stock.
[00:53:40] Speaker 4: That's funny because I actually just put, I don't even know how you knew that, but I just put Palantir on the sticky note today.
[00:53:47] Speaker 1: Same wavelength.
[00:53:47] Speaker 4: I don't know. I have no idea how you picked that out.
[00:53:49] Speaker 1: I didn't look.
[00:53:50] Speaker 4: I was looking for the 190 long here. I mean, I think we are nervous about, you know, any name that hasn't reported yet. Like, you know, Dell reports late cycle. If this computer business is not what we thought it was with Intel here, you know, sending out some warnings about that space, then yeah, maybe Dell has some problems underneath it as well. They're down here today. I was trying to find some longs because I was thinking like sort of what Michael was saying there is that, you know, down two and a half, down 2.6%. There hasn't been really too much data for that. Will people come in and, I even feel like right now, even decent poll question we could put up in our, you know, kingdom here, shout out to Neil, would be, you know, would be, are we buying these dips or are we waiting for more? Because there's a lot of people in the chat right now that are like, hey man, things are on sale today. And I think that's true. They are on sale today. But do they get cheaper is the question. So for me, Palantir yesterday was really washed out. We had some, you know, big moves early on, you know, including, you know, the big shock there from Google yesterday. That set that name down. We thought maybe some software names are going to be in trouble. We saw Microsoft turn from 6% down to red yesterday and still bleeding a little bit here. But Palantir made this bottom wick right there at 190. It went to 190.50. So I'm actually looking, if we went from 199 yesterday at the open Adara down to 190, like that's a huge move. What about today? So I'm, you know, look what Palantir is doing. It's kind of hanging out. It's not down that much, still down 1.5%, so it's bad. But I'm looking for a wick down into the 190 area to see if we can pick up something here on Palantir ahead of their earnings. And these are all just day trades, right? So I think the big worrisome aspect here is can Palantir get hit after midterms? Yes, they can. I mean, we know that it's a very well-loved company with the Conservatives. Will it still be the same with the Democrats in power? So Palantir right now, a little bit of a wishy-washy moment for them. Let's see if they can hold 190. But I do like that level for today as a possible day trade.
[00:55:40] Prince Hakeem: You ask for it, we have a poll now. Oh, we do. It's up. And it's as simple as can be, everybody. So get in the chat and vote if you can. Are we buying dips on Free Fall Friday? Type 1 for buy, type 2 for let it fall, which means you're not. It doesn't mean you're selling. It just means you're not buying these dips and not taking advantage of all of the discounts that I know my friend Joe loves. So get your votes in there. We'll see how that does by the open.
[00:56:05] Speaker 1: Speaking of Joe, he's going to go through some market upgrades and downgrades before we get into this rundown.
[00:56:10] Speaker 5: All right, guys, let's close this panel discussion off with some analyst actions here this morning. We're going to kick things off with some downgrades. Yes, you guessed it. Intel with a price target reduction here from Citi going to $100. That's down from $130, ladies and gentlemen, 25% plus. Still holding that buy rating, but the company reported a strong beating Q3 but provided weak Q4 guidance due to an accident causing Fab 28 shutdown in Israel and a weaker PC demand. Moving forward, guys, Amazon still holding that outperform rating. You can see we're down here as well, 6%. $275 price target. That's down from $315, not $360. Hold on now.
[00:56:50] Speaker 1: Let's take...
[00:56:51] Speaker 5: $315. Citizens, Amazon has slightly beat AWS Ram expectations while retail sales missed party due to primary timing. Amazon's logistics target 40 plus percent. Amazon growth in 2027 and 2028, improving AI compute payback, support, confidence, and core growth despite the capital expenditures. Last but not least, guys, we have Eli Lilly. We were talking about the healthcare sector this morning, 1.9% to the top side. Overweight rating and a price target increase, $1,650. That's up from $1,500. B of A giving them the nod this morning. The firm up to Lilly's estimates citing continued strong momentum in the outside U.S. Monjaro business as well as Zappan, guys.
[00:57:37] Speaker 1: There are a lot of names to get into for this rundown. Pretty much all of them are earnings related. But if you want to follow along, you're going to have to subscribe to our watch list, which I will pump after Sharif gets into a look on our futures.
[00:57:48] Speaker 2: All right. We closed out yesterday at 769 and a third. We are well below that at the moment, sadly. We're trading at around 761. But I just want to zoom out, you know, put back everything into context. We are still holding that 760 level. That has been a key area of resistance on the SPY going back, I want to say, to very early August. 780 maintains itself as a key level of resistance. So 760, first level of support. We sell off. We're looking at 757.5. As a second one, we catch a bid. 765 as resistance level one. We break above that for whatever reason. We're looking at 770 as resistance level two.
[00:58:28] Speaker 1: And right now we're looking at our rundown, which of course is, as always, based off of our Trader TV Live watch list. This watch list is free. You can get it directly sent to your inbox every morning. How, you may ask. Type that link that you see across your screen or you can click the link in the description. This gives you a look at some of the earnings, economic data, and events in play that you need to know to tackle the trading session. Let's start here with Amazon because, unfortunately, this is a prime example of some of the selling off that we've seen here in this market on earnings, especially today. AMZN with that big spike down initially on this report. Kind of chopping around ever since. We did have some misses here. One of the biggest issues as well is going to be their forward guidance, too.
[00:59:09] Speaker 2: Yeah, the forward guide was tough. The CapEx was tough. It was a lot here. Hemorrhaging free cash flow. Negative free cash flow, again, for, I believe, the 12th consecutive month as they continue to build out their AI data center footprint. Revenue, let's talk about that. Third quarter revenue did miss expectations, 200. And remember, Joey, you were talking about not too many people print over $100 billion a quarter. Well, Amazon has doubled that. $201.94 billion, but that missed the $202 billion and change expected by analysts. EPS also missed $189 versus the $196. Some tough comps, though, to be fair, because last year on the quarter, they had an artificial EPS print because of their investment in Anthropik. I think they realized about $9.5 billion last year on the quarter. So not fair year-over-year comps there. Prime day calendar shift. So they had some weakness in e-commerce. They're blaming that because they moved their prime day, essentially, from Q3. It was pulled from Q2, pulled forward into Q2 rather than Q3. So not as good as revenue. Also, advertising revenue was a bit of a miss. Again, they're also blaming that on the pull forward of Prime Day into Q2 from Q3. About $19.6 billion in revenue printed for advertising. That's about 12%, but that's a really big slowdown because last year they were, like, in the high double digits, like 30%, 40% for their revenue growth. So it looks like it's maturing, but that's not obviously good for the top line.
[01:00:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, what are your guys' thoughts here on AMZN this morning?
[01:00:46] Prince Hakeem: So Amazon, Amazon, we're far with our Amazon. The thing about Amazon is unlike, to a certain extent, unlike Intel, it gapped down and is much, like, significantly higher than the aftermarket sell-off. And if you look at the last couple times, it dipped underneath the 200-period moving average in August and then back here in June, it bounced at the quarters, effectively. So that's where it's, I mean, it's sitting right there. It's so nasty. It's sitting right there. Like, this is one of these, it's like a classic almost over-under play here. You're sitting on resistance. You've already held through the lows, which means you've got a gap in either direction. You can hold VWAP at the open, open range VWAP hold, continue, at least to 32s, if not even more, but it plays both ways. If it's the whole immediate fail touch, then you're working your way down, potentially, to the low. So this is a name that I want to see the opening range on and then try to be a bit of a joiner. It's just sitting right in the middle at a key inflection level for Amazon. And ultimately, I think one of the things about the CapEx number is we have to remind ourselves that it wasn't as bad for, like, a meta on CapEx. And even alphabets wasn't quite as big. So they're probably getting beaten up a little bit here. And then the anthropic side of things, I feel right now people aren't, people are a little skittish. And so obviously Amazon is going to be feeling the brunt of that pain today. I don't wonder, and this is just, I don't wonder if some of all of this bleed is potentially setting Anthropic up a little bit better on IPO day. In that, if we've had a washout moment before the Anthropic IPO, that could make it a little bit more palatable for that IPO when it does come through. And that's assuming that some of these downward trends hold. I mean, if everything just sort of bounces from here, maybe that doesn't matter. But if we get weakness going into that, it could actually bode better for the Anthropic IPO just because you'll have already had some washout. Maybe people have a little extra cash because so many things have gotten sold off.
[01:03:12] Speaker 4: I am doggone excited to be here with everybody today. And I'm also excited to read to you guys about Venhub, our market open sponsor. This is more than just a concept. Venhub lists operating smart store locations at the LAX Metro Transit Center Union Station and Hollywood here in Los Angeles, which we're not here. We are in Toronto. Its stores can buy an app-based ordering, robotic fulfillment, and automated pickup to provide around-the-clock access to products and locations where conventional retail can be challenging to operate. To see how Venhub's AI-powered smart stores work, visit venhub.com. And we had them on. Was it yesterday, Adaira, we had them on? Yeah, yesterday. So go check it out. During that midday show, we had Venhub on talk all about their cool products. I actually think it's pretty neat. And he was bringing up some points about students and whatnot, you know, late night studying and whatever, you know, finding out. But I think these things can actually work pretty well in schools. Just got to get those deals sorted out. Yeah, unfortunately, I didn't get time to edit these little wicks up here. But I just believe in everything that Neil was saying there. I mean, look, we already cracked down into the 215, 216 area. So will that come back in today? I don't think so. I think, like, you know, right now the blood does seem to be in the streets, although the only thing red today that we'd like to look at would be ketchup. But, you know, down into here, 224 and change. Let's see if it does break this level. I'm a little bit hesitant to see what this market β I mean, we're 20 minutes away. I'd really want to see what these imbalances look like at 925 because if they come out pretty hot to the downside, then you're going to get, like, a move down. And then hopefully that can give us, you know, a base to trade off of if those imbalances come in. I'm going to fix these little wicks here. But I like this breakdown right here of 225. I guess that low right there in the pre-market is β apologies about the charts. They're just bad wicks. 224 basically breakdown. That's 224.50. So, you know, if we can get down another $2, I think you punch the short. And then maybe you play it back to VWAP. But just give yourselves a little bit more range today. I think the one thing that you want to do is expect to trade a little bit less shares but maybe wait for bigger moves. I mean, Amazon down 7%. You're not going to wake up most days and see that, right? So, to be quite frank with you, I believe Amazon does have an opportunity to get a little lower. But I do want to see those imbalances first. And then we'll trade it off that.
[01:05:26] Speaker 1: So, I'm going to name that I think a lot of people are a little anxious about today, understandably so, and that's Intel. Because, Sharif, you had an EPS beat. You had a sales beat. As mentioned, Boundary looking really good. What's not looking good, though, is their guidance. They're guiding well below estimates for EPS and sales. But that sales outlook looking really rough here.
[01:05:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, and we'll get to the foundry because there was some interesting accounting tidbits there. Let's start with the actual numbers, Adaira. Fourth quarter revenue, decent here, about $15 to $16 billion. That misses consensus of $17 and change. EPS also coming in almost half light here. The street was looking for $43. They printed $25. So, that's a miss. There was issues in Israel, okay? So, they have their FAB 28 in Kiryat, Gat, I guess that's the name of the place, in Israel. They're going to shut down temporarily. Gross margins are going to get hit. $300 million directly off Q4 sales. Then, they're going to trim their gross margins by about 200 basis points. And another $300 million is going to come off in Q1 of 27. So, it's not just a one-quarter hit. Also, the PC AI cycle isn't good. Again, I don't think PCs are good. I don't like using the ones here. I don't like using the ones at home. I think they're an inferior product to Mac. And any 2026 computer upgrade purchases have seemed to dry up. So, the numbers reflect. Data Center did quite well. 78% year-over-year bump. $7.3 billion there. But their PC games slipped. 5% year-over-year on the quarter. Dilution also an issue. 6% is what the shareholders got diluted because they raised $25 billion on the quarter. That's never a good look. Let's talk about the foundry business though, right? It looks good. $6.7 billion. Up 58% year-over-year. Well, $6.3 billion of that $6.7 billion was used internally. It came from total internal accounting charges tied to Intel's own product divisions rather than any profitable sales outside. So, using their own chips internally, obviously, you know, on the balance sheet it is one thing. But in reality, something else. Gross margins also compressing. Q4 adjusted gross margins expected to move down from $44 to $38. Again, because of CapEx and having to build out their footprint. So, we'll see how the market treats this one today.
[01:07:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's an interesting look here for INTC. Are you guys looking to get involved in this name today?
[01:07:42] Prince Hakeem: Well, it's at a pretty big inflection point. You have to zoom out a little bit here. So, I'm looking at a monthly chart. And we're sitting at $68 right now, pre-market, on Intel. Notice where that lines up. That's like the COVID high and then the 2021 top before the absolute flush. It's easily the most important sort of resistance spot on the way back in. And that's what we're testing this morning on Intel. And as you can see, despite being down 25%, 26%, it's been effectively holding the line at that price area. You know, $65 to $68 would be that band of support. So, I'm thinking today, if it can emerge from that band and do a VWAP reclaim, Intel can have a nice rebound day. From a longer-term standpoint, there were some, like Treve pointed out that, you know, some progress with the Foundry was going to be a good thing. But, for sure, there were some things that you could point to that make it seem not as bad of a queue. But this is not an environment that you wanted to miss. The good news for that, looking at a monthly chart, is, hey, well, we start a brand new month tomorrow. Well, sorry, on Monday, I should say. We start a brand new month on Monday. So, whether or not we hold that level, like, we're going to have a wick down into that support on the monthly. And then next month becomes absolutely crucial from a technical standpoint. If it holds, I think we're fantastic to bounce after the midterms. But this is so important and key. You do not want to see this stock losing 65 to 68 because it's such a massive level. But it hasn't lost it, so I think it's a bounce spot, at least until proven otherwise.
[01:09:31] Speaker 4: Yeah, man, glad Neil brought that up because, I mean, sometimes we look back and we just say, hey, man, Intel was literally double this a month ago, which it was. It was up to 130, right? And now you're like, oh, my God, what has happened here? But then when you do pull it back, I think the writing was on the wall for most of this. I mean, you know, we did get a little bit of a bounce back there the last couple of days before. You know, we had a couple of bad days than today. So, yeah, just understand that it's still up that 80% year to date there for Intel. It was really tough for me to write down anything on the board today because just because of what these stocks are doing, like they're so far down. I just I'm a little bit hesitant to call a move lower from here and I'm hesitant to call a move higher. I think the best thing to do on a day like today is sit around and wait and see, you know, what exactly the market wants to do. So I think it's a sit on your hands for a couple of minutes. The only thing that I was thinking about was shorting the NASDAQ rate off the bottom if we break the pre-market lows. But then I want to see those market on open imbalances. You know, the whole thing about I think the PC thing, regardless of if we don't like PCs, Sharif doesn't like them or MacBooks are better, all this kind of stuff. The idea at the end of the day is there was this thought that we needed to have more PCs to help run some of these GPUs. That apparently is not as, you know, in stone anymore. So right now it used to be like, oh, man, we need the PC demand needs to pick up, you know, because naturally we need, you know, as as more and more, you know, video gaming and all this kind of stuff. There's still a lot of business as far as, you know, for these PC makers are still around. But that narrative has lost a little bit here, I feel like, with this recent pullback in Intel. They're even studying themselves that this PC demand is lower. So it used to be like, oh, you need six PCs for every one GPU or vice versa, so on and so forth. Looks like we're now more to one to one. We heard that on the conference call as well. So, yeah, the demand is getting lower there. Whenever you guide like that, it's not going to be a great thing. Dell, to me, is important, too, because they're going to be reporting. Let me see, I just, I know they're late cycle. I just want to see when they are here. We call this up together. So D-E-L-L, just because we're talking about PCs, right? So there it is. They are confirmed for, oh, yeah, November 24th. So, you know, you're still a month away from Dell. So Dell could definitely catch some bids from here till then. But I want to keep this on our mind because this is down 12%, and they didn't do anything. They just sat there and, you know, closed the market, thought everything was hunky-dory. They get hit on a little bit of Google, hit on a little bit of IBM. But at the end of the day, Dell makes that break through this 450 level. So, hey, dude, are you buying a Dell? Apparently not yet. We may have a move back in even lower on Dell. Like, nothing to do with them. They're getting hit right now. So this is a look through. And we always get questions like, you know, what stock is catching some strays or whatever. I think Dell is a name that we want to look at here today. Down 12%. If Intel can't rally, man, Dell's going to have a hard time. Remember, November the 24th, coming for Dell, SMCI, a couple other names that may be in problems. Qualcomm as well, big into the PC game. So there's a couple different names that you could look at today. If you think Intel's overdone, maybe you go to short a name like a Qualcomm. I think it was only down 5%. Arm is also getting hit to the downside. Yeah, Qualcomm's down 6%. Arm down 10%. Qualcomm getting worse. Like, 20 minutes ago, not even, 15 minutes, 10, 15 minutes ago, Qualcomm was at 177. Now you're at 174. So you're definitely losing a lot of steam here as we get closer and closer to those imbalances.
[01:12:58] Speaker 1: Let's take a look here at some of these crypto names. And, you know, as we mentioned, we feel kind of badly for these because Coinbase and MSK are doing okay here after earnings. But then there was the $6.3 billion Binance hack and the resulting social media interactions here between CZ and Elon Musk himself.
[01:13:16] Speaker 2: And that one I sent you was not the only one. Yeah.
[01:13:19] Speaker 1: I saw some of the other ones.
[01:13:20] Speaker 2: Yeah. So the other one was like, CZ was saying to Elon, Elon, I respect you as a person, something like that. But it's not the time to troll. Like, you could tell the dude was under pressure. Yeah, CZ, he's had better days, Adara. $6.3 billion, as you mentioned, stolen, widely speculated but unconfirmed online that they were North Korean hackers. We will find out in the days and months as the investigation continues. But $2.37 billion of that $6.3 billion was intercepted by Tether and Circle. Tether did $1.57. In fact, the CEO of Tether did post something on X, which CZ replied to and thanked him. So you kind of see that whole concerted effort. $800 million intercepted by Circle. That's USDC, of course. So nice look there. But I just want to mention that the DevOps access key vulnerability was part of one of the reasons, like, this is not even bigger. So the hack came in from an employee's affected work laptop. They stole an admin passkey and basically they walked right in to this, you know, metaphorical digital back office, so to speak. So, again, not cryptography hack, but more along the lines of just a regular hack here. Last but not least, what do we have here? Temporary suspension, of course, by Binance, of withdrawals did remove liquidity from the market. So overnight, market makers really had a time of it, Adaira. The bid-ask spread on Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies was quite wide. So the market makers, they cleaned up nicely last night.
[01:14:54] Speaker 1: How do you guys feel about this crypto here today? Lots of different opportunities within this sector.
[01:14:59] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, there's a lot of places to look. I mean, I'll have two specific names on the mind, Circle and IBIT. Like, usually IBIT is going to be in play for me most days. But, you know, looking at what happened here, just structurally, technically, for Circle, it's sentiments here. And regardless of whether you think this ends up being a bigger deal in the longer, medium, medium term, long term, you've got the midterms on next week, which ultimately, that's a big deal. Because if you look at it from the standpoint of, okay, well, one side likes crypto more than the other, it does matter. And so there's a little bit of risk off going on because of that as well. So Circle, $78 to $80 was the shelf that at flat bottom broke. Obviously, this has already happened. So on any strength, it's about waiting for that fade. There was something that Michael mentioned about, it was more about the stocks that were down 20% and then the trade that actually sets up the best. It's that, it's when you try to rally, right? So you get a rally sometimes by the dip, kind of deal at the open. And then you have that opening range, and then it fails back underneath. So I don't really have it. It's not a great example of it. Maybe you could look at it like here, let's just say. Like a day like this, where imagine this was a gap down day. It tries to press higher. You get the fail. And then you're working off lower highs for the rest of the session. That's where I want to be with Circle and IBIT and anything under the 78 level. It does require waiting for a trend break if there is no opportunity to play like a pre-market top or a resistance level. 80,000 is kind of come and gone. We're at 77 quarter right now. So I don't know that it would be the 80,000 marker out there. Maybe it'd be 78 or something like that. But I'm looking to short some pops here in crypto. At least that's going to be the plan of action. I think there's other places you can look for dips, which are a little bit more appealing. And it's like, it's crazy. Like there's so much bad news. And it's like even the name that you can't, you didn't, you couldn't hate on the SanDisk report. But yet here we are.
[01:17:05] Speaker 1: Yeah, let's take a look here now. We're going to turn over to SanDisk, SNDK. This $1,200 tickers will be $1,200 no longer because it's part of this report, which really showed, I think, a lot of slowing of growth. They announced they're going to be doing that eight for one forward split. So cutting that stock here by one eighth, I guess, of the price. But this is, yeah, this is a pretty interesting one here to me, Sheree, for a lot of reasons. One of the biggest being, sure, you've still got that year over year growth, but that's sequential growth, which used to also be really strong for them. That's slowing significantly, the margin growth.
[01:17:36] Speaker 2: Absolutely. Are you going to trade it once it eight for one split?
[01:17:41] Speaker 1: Probably. I won't be able to. I have to follow my rules, Sheree. There you go. I'm definitely going to be watching it today. I'll give you that.
[01:17:46] Speaker 2: Absolutely. All right. Let's talk about some of the numbers, Adaira. This is Q1 for them, Q1 2027. 11.03 billion in revenue. That's up, as you mentioned, 378% year over year. But it's more of the quarter-to-quarter sequential numbers that we concern ourselves with. Non-gap gross margins and eye-watering, 85.1%. That's 10% better than NVIDIA, just for context there. Adjusted EPS, 49.51, easily beating. 46.67 expected by analysts. But yeah, data center revenue, 1,682% year over year, $4.8 billion. But it missed. 4.98 was what they were looking for there. So almost a couple hundred million dollars missed. Edge revenue, 320% year over year. Bumped $5.8 billion there. Consumer revenue did fall, though, as they focused more on HBE3 and HBM4. They don't really allocate as much into DDR4 and 5. So that dropped about 40% year over year on the quarter. They did guide Q2 revenue, $12.2 to $12.6 billion. EPS, $55 to $57, the midpoint of both below the consensus estimate. And I think we're trading lower on the morning, are we not?
[01:18:57] Speaker 1: Yeah, we definitely are here. And I think this is an interesting one, Sharif. It just shows that slowdown of growth story. You cannot grow at expensive rates forever. Or even when you do, you're still going to miss estimates, apparently, according to data center. So we're off to look here for SNDK. What are your guys' thoughts on the disc, Sharif?
[01:19:11] Prince Hakeem: Ooh, the disc? That's a new one. I don't think I've heard anyone call it the disc. And now we're only going to call it the disc. Okay, so yesterday got coined that this is now the disc. Well, the disc has been skipping a little bit. And not in a good way. Like, not, you know, like the DJ trying to make it. Right, right. He's not remixing this. No, exactly. It's not that. That's a problem. But, like, I don't think you ever get to hear a sentence like Sharif just said. Data center growth up 1,700% revenue, but missed expectations. That is a sentence I've been, I don't know, I've been looking at the markets and trading for a long time. I can't, I don't think I've ever heard something resembling that phrase. That you could have that level of growth and still miss expectations, year over year growth. But it just goes to show where these names are at. The good news for SanDisk is it actually has a legitimate potential here, unlike some other names, where you could just do an over-under. Like, it could snap, snap down, hold the August lows, and then do a quick little bit of a reversal. Because this one, if I do that, you see the downtrend that it's been on since the lower high in September. Like, you snap that back, and it's got a little something that it could break out into. I'm staying far away from this one today. I do think memory in general is not the worst place to look if you get above VWAP. SNDK is, some people like spready tickers. If you think there's extra volatility, the name with the gigantic spread, and you punch into that thing, you're out like $15, $30, who knows? Like, I think it would be complete insanity. I think looking at like a DRAM today, if you like it for, if you like a rebound and some strength, it's got a bit of a prior wall here. See this at 49, whoops, now it's in the mail too far, at about 49 and a half. You start getting out and about above that, and you have a nice potential gap full upside. But yeah, again, this is another space where I don't want to be looking at them for the first 15, 20, 30 minutes. Like, at the open, I'll be looking at Intel, I'll be looking at Bitcoin, I'll be looking at SoFi. But when it comes to DRAM or SanDisk, let these things settle out. It's Friday, it's end of the month, and you have all this volatility. Names like this are probably the most dangerous in the first five minutes.
[01:21:40] Speaker 4: Yeah, the only thing, yeah, I mean, with the spread coming in here, you know, you're already at $1.50. I think it's going to be a tough one to trade. I really think the 8-to-1 split is something to be talked about, and I feel like if it wasn't there, it might even be a little bit lower. But I, you know, I like the split idea here, makes it a little bit more tradable for all of us. Look, yesterday we wrote down, was it yesterday or two days ago, that we really thought SpaceX was going to be in for a little bit of a problem. Because if we get hitting on CapEx spend, these guys are the number one, you know, sort of player in CapEx land. I mean, maybe not number one, but getting up to there with the billions and billions put aside here to build out XAI. You know, we talked about that. We actually wrote down that. I think it was $150 something, $151, $152. As a short there, once we started breaking down, definitely breaking down through $148. SpaceX today down another 4%. So, you know, I think this is a good opportunity here to potentially, you know, get rolling with SpaceX to the short side. You know, $139, $140. We'll see if it does get a little bit of a bounce higher. But there we go. We're just sort of delaying and waiting to see what was going to happen here with these imbalances before we really did make a call. Intel, someone wants to come in there and buy it. And it doesn't look like it's affecting the stock a whole heck of a lot. But Intel is a buy there on our schedule. So that's something. Amazon's a buy. All buys. SpaceX is a buy. So about, you know, this whole like blood in the streets thing, there is. But it looks like maybe Warren Buffett, who coined sort of that term, has now come in. Oh, look at my Nvidia chart. Brutal. But has come in there and start to buy some of this. And Walmart getting a little bit of a sell. That's not, these ticks aren't real. Don't worry. It's still up 1.9%. Our charts are a little haywire today. Apple getting a sell. So just my initial thoughts right here are some of the higher quality cash positions. And, you know, different names like that catching sells because maybe, you know, those are risk off trades. You know, risk on trades. Amazon, TQ, SpaceX, they are catching bids today. So maybe there is going to be a little bit, you know, of risk on if people want to come in and start to buy the names. The TQ is even catching a little bit of a bid, right? So NASDAQ going back up to the upside. Maybe these imbalances are giving us a little bit of hope here that the market can rally a bit. I think whack-a-mole, but we'll wait to see what winds up happening. I do have the TQQs looking for a short at $64.50. So if that can come in right there, which we are getting close to it, we should short a little bit of these TQs. Or maybe just hammer the sell side here if we break the lows. It's going to be an interesting one. Let's wait to see what winds up happening here. I don't know if I want to go too ham at the beginning of this, but all that talk about DJs makes you think about DJ Mustard. If you know, you know. Throw back some DJ Mustard in your life these days, man. Will the markets go ham, Adara? We shall find out. Or should I say, I love that you said, happy Powell-ween. That was a good one. Powell-ween. There, Adara wins the day. And my friend Neil. You need some sauerkraut on that bad boy.
[01:24:27] Prince Hakeem: That's the only thing that's missing.
[01:24:28] Speaker 4: I'm all about the sauerkraut. I am the worst costume here today, as some bratwurst might say.
[01:24:36] Speaker 1: Well, I showed it to DJ Mustard. It might not be 5 a.m. in the parking lot, but it is 9.27 a.m. These markets are about to open, and we have to talk some Reddit. I'm going to go through some infographics quickly before the truth gets into the numbers. I mean, quarterly revenue still up sequentially and annually. But then you see these daily active uniques or DAQs. This is slowing. It's the exact same number, $130.3 million for the last two quarters. Then you've got their ad revenue, which is still growing sequentially and annually, but the rate of that growth is really slowing, Sharif. So I think, much like Sandisk, that slowing of growth is going to be in focus.
[01:25:05] Speaker 2: Adara, who are they blaming? They're blaming Google. Google. They are blaming Google in an aggressive way. Look, what's happening is it's cannibalizing their organic traffic on their website because Google is taking all the information that's on these Reddit or subreddits and then giving them to you in AI overviews, and they say they're dropped over a million referrals per week just in the month of October. And if Google doesn't stop Adara, they are worried that they're actually going to contract by low double-digit percentages into Q4. But they're not just sitting there and, you know, waiting for Google to do something about it. They're testing in select international markets whether or not, you know, the information that's in the subreddit can only be accessed if you log in. So you're going to have to be logged in to be able to see that that prevents the, or sorry, the search engines from scraping information. Now, and let's say that could hurt them as well because if people are required to log in, they may not want to go into the subreddit. So a bit of a catch-22 there. Deceleration in high margin data as well. Advertising revenue surged nicely, but enterprise AI data dropped. They also bought back shares, but they bought back when it was trading at $149.81. It's barely above $100. So they bought at the highs. Analysts are not happy about that.
[01:26:23] Speaker 1: Are you guys happy about the opportunity to trade Reddit today? And good luck and happy Halloween to all today.
[01:26:28] Prince Hakeem: Yes, sir. Happy Halloween. So far, it's been a bit of a trick for the markets. I'm probably not going to look at Reddit today being real, but I think the $100 level, it's Friday, it's end of the month. If you are watching this, it is sort of setting up for a run at the $100 breakout here. With only about 20 seconds to go. Most of the imbalances that were buys have paired off, as you can very quickly see. I'm going to throw up Intel at the open here just so we can see INTC, the biggest bleeder of the day. Well, I want to say by far, but it's actually not that big of a difference between it, Reddit, and of course, Roblox, which we didn't talk about. So let's see. Do we get a free fall Friday? The opening bell has rung. Let's see. And the buyers are trying? I thought maybe you'd see one of those crazy immediate green candles. That is not the case here for Intel. It's certainly not the case. SpaceX again does another dip right away. What SpaceX every day does, always seems to do this. SpaceX headed lower. There wasn't an imbalance on this. Intel breaking down. Bitcoin breaking down. Bitcoin just took out its lows of the day. Yikes, yikes, more yikes.
[01:27:37] Speaker 4: Yeah, I may try a little bit of a short if we do break that on Intel and just to see if the momentum does continue through, through this low of, I mean, it's not even the low of the pre-market, it's just the low of like the last half hour or so, 67.70. I'm still waiting. We didn't get to talk to Google too much here today, but I was waiting for, I was waiting for like an 83 to come through on Google just to see if that was going to be a potential short area right into here. That's 81.50 up to 83 right into here for Google. So I wanted to see if that got jumped, but not yet. So yeah, so right now just watching out for Intel, it looks like it is trying to hold out on those bottom, but here we go, we're in into it. So there's the breakdown of, I mean, let's see if it's a breakdown or not, but we're in this initial move here on, you know, which was at one point our good friend over here, Intel, but we'll wait to see where it goes. We'll take a little bit out there in the 50s and see if we do get a little bit of a flush here on Intel. We want to make sure that we do stay somewhat liquid on this, but yeah, there it goes. Down to the downside Intel now down 27%, their biggest one day decline since 24 on, you know, what was not a great report there. So Amazon three month low right now, Intel, we're short. So first position is now in for me. We wanted that. So we're in it. So here goes Intel. Good short there off that pre-market break, looking for lower, you know, to see Intel. But I don't want to get caught too much in this little flush. Like, I'd like to see it continue here. And there it goes. Maybe we stopped out there in the 30s. I don't know. I'm bidding 30 right now. See if we get that, Phil. Intel, let's see how low we can go today. It's worst day in a couple of years here.
[01:29:09] Prince Hakeem: That's a crazy stat. Yeah, because it's 24. Well, because you think about it, like it's the fact that it's had worse. This thing's annoying. The fact that it's had worse so recently tells you a little bit about the stock. To the upside, believe it or not, is SoFi. I didn't think this would happen, but it might. Double top, quadruple top, triple top, whatever the heck you want to call it. $17.50 on SoFi, potential breakout zone there. All right, I guess we're going to be short-eyed a bit. It's not bouncing. The first thing it wants to do on crypto is hold at the low. So we're going to look short underneath VWAP. There has been no bounce whatsoever. Thank you so much. Well needed today. And yes, it is coming to America.
[01:29:49] Speaker 4: We are now right here in the dollar club right now. We're starting to really print out now on INTC as there it goes into the downside right there. We have something appropriate to celebrate today. There we go right now. Nice. The glizzies. Watch out for when you get hit in the face with one of these. Yeah, so it's a big downside move here for Intel. We took four units. So this is a big trade. So we're making some back here. We had disastrous couple days, but we're right back into it right now with Intel. Oh boy, this is your face slapper again of the day. It's Intel, baby. And that's exactly what we wanted. We said pre-market low breaks. It's actually written down right here. Watch out for these pre-market low breaks. And there it goes right now. Intel, it's a big one. It is a big trade today. Wow. INTC. How low will we go, man? I do not know. But there it goes. Yes. Man, I'm wearing this costume now every day, I think. Nice move downside there for Intel as we continue to make that move. So now just, you know, I'm out of 75%. So as we continue to go lower right now, we'll sit there, we'll bid 66 flat, and then just watch out for this washout. But there it goes, man. Huge move down to the downside now for Intel. Obviously wishing we held the whole kit and caboodle, but we did pretty good right there. There's our bid at 66. See you later, alligator. Down 1.54 right now. This is the worst bratwurst. I don't know how many times I'm going to use that joke. I've seen Intel in a hell of a long time. Now 29%. Booyaka as we go into the gates of hell, which really does suck because I do own a hell of a lot of Intel. But we are getting to the downside right now. Now $2, $2, $2 in. Hey, this is not Looney Dog Day. This is $2. You know, a little bit more expensive to buy your hot dogs today, but there it goes. Now down in the money, $2 over here. We did not wait today. We hit it immediately. Thank you, Joseph, for that one. And I'm just disappointed because I put the stew in the fridge to bring Joe and Neil and everybody around here, and I forgot it.
[01:31:40] Prince Hakeem: I don't know what's up with this stew, but it sounds tasty to me. Oh, man. Intel is falling, boys. What is this stew story? Intel is absolutely bleeding. It's already at $65. This was the level on the daily that I said, if it doesn't hold this today, we're in a world of trouble. Like a world of hurt.
[01:31:56] Speaker 4: And it just, it just big size there, Neil. Watch out.
[01:31:58] Prince Hakeem: I see, no, I see it. I saw the size on Intel there at $65. It's not, it's like, what, a million shit? No. More.
[01:32:04] Speaker 4: Quarter? Was it? I thought it was more. There's so many. Well, honestly, I saw it for five cents. Come over to my screen if you want. I'll just show everybody. I know. I thought it was a, no, it's already hit it.
[01:32:14] Prince Hakeem: That's what happened.
[01:32:15] Speaker 4: Oh, yeah. Yeah. It didn't break it. Yeah. But we'll wait to see. Okay. So it's not there yet. Here it comes. Okay. It's just bouncing off of it. I'm going to take another piece. Well, actually, I only have a small piece left. We just got a bunch out at $65. So, yeah. Anyways, we can go back to Neil there. I wanted to show you what the size was like, but it looks like it's absorbing that right now at $65. Oh, here it comes again, maybe. All right. What are you working on? I don't want to just keep staring at this Intel all day.
[01:32:38] Prince Hakeem: Well, the crazy thing is I thought we'd be looking at some Circle instead of Ibit. It's down 9% or whatever, Circle. Tag 10%. It's actually SSR. Okay. Circle is actually SSR. I believe it tagged 10% a couple of seconds ago, but the first thing that happened, and then I type Intel because if you start with an I, then I'm going to tell. Well, no, the problem is Ibit starts with an I, so muscle memory. You're thinking Intel. You're seeing Intel. You're going to do that. But the first VWAP touch, I am short that. I didn't get iSoFi because it didn't quite go far enough to the upside. Like, I was looking at 17.5 up here, but that's already a false break on SoFi up top. We didn't talk too many about day two, day three earnings names, unfortunately. Google was one that we could have been mentioning, but here goes. It's a shame that there wasn't a push up in Circle because I would have preferred to be short that instead. But we'll take Ibit, take what we get, and we will not get upset. I do want to acknowledge there's some strength in the market. SpaceX is actually bouncing and looking to break out, for lack of a better word. Believe it or not, SpaceX is trying to break out. We talked about the memory names maybe catching a better bid because Sandex actually... Sandex had a good quarter. I don't care what anybody says. Microns to the upside. Talk about DRAM. I'm sitting out the opening range on these because I do not want to get trapped at any bottoms. But yeah, the memory names are where the strength is. SpaceX as well. Moderna, Marvell. Let us know what other names, but make sure you type in the dollar sign in front of your chat, in front of your chat names, everybody, because we want to be able to have them up on the visualizer. Obviously, Intel is going to lead it. Google, which we didn't get into, and then SpaceX. I had one... What did I...
[01:34:20] Speaker 4: It just broke 65.
[01:34:23] Prince Hakeem: It's still above.
[01:34:24] Speaker 4: No, no, no. It broke. I mean, look at that way. That was real. It just... My low of the day says 6434. Yeah, mine just happened right now. 64... Yeah, that's not right, but it went to 6474 right now. Mine's way off. Yeah, yeah. Mine too. Mine says 6434, but hey, man, that always is the problem. But right there, now we're now $3 in ads. We just go, what's up to Brendan? As there it goes into the downside. So, you know, go follow at TraderTV, Sean, where we talked all about this. TQQ short. We'll see if that bounces. Google as well. The interesting thing, we talked about it, XBI, you know, the one ETF that I pretty much talk about other than the SPY or the NASDAQ. This is the one that I'm really been enjoying being in. We talked about it yesterday. Or Michael Noss talked about it here. The biotechs have been on a nice little rally. So we can watch out for Eli Lilly. Something possibly strong. There it is, man. You are welcome, Gus. Here, we'll get this for you. A couple glizzies for you right there. Money, money, money. I mean, I'm glad you followed the yellow brick road on that one. And, yeah, it's been a big day there for me on INTC, so we're really happy there to be able to put some money back in our account here right now. So, yeah, it's a good one there. And, yeah, just thanks for watching, guys. As Neil and I, Neil, I, and Adara have some fun getting dressed up here, as well as Jessica over there looking sharp in her outfit. And I want to say thank you to Jessica because maybe Jessica can come over here, show everyone what she's wearing, and bring that little bag of treats that she has because we want another one.
[01:35:51] Prince Hakeem: Well, I've already, yeah, I'm going to, this is going to be trouble for me.
[01:35:55] Speaker 4: But we've only had one.
[01:35:56] Prince Hakeem: It's going to be trouble for me.
[01:35:57] Speaker 4: We had one candy. There she is.
[01:35:59] Prince Hakeem: It's going to be trouble for me.
[01:36:00] Speaker 4: All right, Neil, pick one, man. This is trouble. Is there a Mars bar in there?
[01:36:03] Prince Hakeem: This is, this is a problem.
[01:36:05] Speaker 4: What about, what about, what are these black things over there?
[01:36:07] Prince Hakeem: This is a problem.
[01:36:08] Speaker 4: I'll take one of those. A twirl. I have no idea what a twirl is. No, I don't have that kind of horsepower. Okay, but you twirl. Caramel coming in. I can only have one. Okay, thank you. I can only eat one. Thank you for that. You devil, you. Bring the chocolates to the prince. But that's what I'm saying. Are you a prince or a king? Prince, right?
[01:36:30] Prince Hakeem: Okay, so if, I'm not acknowledging the new movie. Okay, okay. So I'm calling myself Prince. I'm acknowledging character. I'm calling myself Prince Hakeem. Okay, okay. I did, as I said, you know, I did watch the new movie, and I would not suggest anybody watch. Coming to America 2 is not. It's not new anymore, is it? It's like five years old, I feel like. And they fought. It's on Amazon. It wasn't that good. Yeah. I think, I don't know. Honestly, but then, that's what happens when you do these types of films. But Coming to America, the original was the absolute jam. I wanted to do another character, but I just couldn't feasibly make it happen. Your costume is epic. I wanted to do Randy Watson, but then, that kind of a tux is a lot easier to get. I still don't hear you. Say again? About the fur? Oh, online.
[01:37:16] Speaker 4: How did you?
[01:37:17] Prince Hakeem: Cheaply online. It's not real. He put it together. It is, it is like a little bit warm. And very annoying. That's why.
[01:37:25] Speaker 4: It's just constantly bugging the crap out of me. Nobody wants to see this. Underneath my shirt, it says bullish.
[01:37:32] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, but that's literally the opposite of today. Bullish. It couldn't be more bearish than we are right now. Although, you know what though? The Nasdaq.
[01:37:39] Speaker 4: I'm just sure the living crap out of this.
[01:37:40] Prince Hakeem: The Nasdaq's actually bottom tail candling, everybody. Watch out for that. But anyways, it gets so far off the lower high. Bitcoin's still hitting lower the day. Randy Watson, that boy's good. He's good. Also, short oil. Is that working? And long the bills. Yeah. Yeah, long Packers. Lamar's coming back. In your face. Oh, you guys play Baltimore? Yeah, we got a real game this weekend. Okay. Do you know the time? I think we're the one o'clock game.
[01:38:09] Speaker 4: Oh, I never like one o'clock. I don't like them either. It's always busy in the day, but hopefully.
[01:38:12] Prince Hakeem: Well, I'm not going to miss it because we're going to Wonderland. But that's what I'm saying. Yeah, it's... It's Halloween Hans. Busy times. At the local theme park. So, we always do that. But short oil. We haven't looked at oil today. Sorry about that, everybody. That just is what it is. TLT's moving a little bit. But it's really just about the tech names that reported this morning. Enrico Von Yummy Pants. I think I speak for it when I say less talky-talky for Sean buns. Well played. Well played.
[01:38:38] Speaker 4: Yes, I do appreciate that. And if you had any kind of a bun, a brioche bun is real nice. A little heavy at times. So, we had some brioche buns with our stew last night. Oh, the story with the stew was, we were just talking about... I was like, oh, man, Marissa's making a stew tonight. Just like we always talk about on the show. And Joel's like, hook me up with some of that. So, I was like, 100%. So, I put it in the fridge. I got like a nice Tupperware, enough to put in a couple bowls for people here. And then, you know, yourself included, whoever wanted some of it. It had celery, potatoes, carrots, red wine, you know, beef. Like, everything. It was beef stew. It was fantastic. Onions, the best ever. And I was just saying, it's too bad that tomorrow wasn't a work day. You know, I could just forget it one day, bring it in the next day, fine. I don't know how well, or how, it'll last very long in the old fridge. But, hey, man. Why not? We're on a roll today. Going short, but shout out to you. Thank you so much to Jerry Trader here in the chat as we have a lot of fun on that. And don't worry. Don't worry. We will catch up with a lot of these Super Chats as they come in, including you, John Michaels, as well, with that one cent gift. And, you know, hot dogs might be worth not much more than one cent, depending on meat content. Very low.
[01:39:51] Prince Hakeem: It's the highest quality meat out there. Everybody knows it. Shout out to all of our viewers from TikTok. That's not disparage. That joke was the bratwurst of them all that I had so far. I still think you need some sauerkraut on that bad boy. Yeah, I would love to get some sauerkraut going on through here. I couldn't convince my daughter to try it last time we did sausages. I'm like, just eat it. Yeah, so if you're on a hot dog, but yeah, on a sausage. A sausage. A sausage. Yeah, sausage. Like, there's a big difference.
[01:40:13] Speaker 4: The Italian sausage.
[01:40:15] Prince Hakeem: Someone likes hot dogs. Oh, goodness. Okay, I'm going to eat this in a second. I'm too good of a mood. I don't know. If you want the good news, I hope you bought the dip in Amazon. Oh, you did not. I did not either. I got filled yesterday. I walked my daughter to school, came back, grabbed my coffee, looked at my phone, and I had been filled, well, after I had breakfast. It was Google. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. My stink bid from months ago got filled on Alphabet yesterday. Those are the best bids, man. Whether or not that's a good thing, but I've been bidding in front of $280 for a very, very long time, and maybe we like it, maybe we don't.
[01:40:48] Speaker 4: It's going to go through $280 again right now. Google's an interesting name, because I wrote this name. It's holding higher lows. It's good. Yeah. I wrote down Google as a short there at $283. I like that. We didn't quite get there yet. So, what's up? What's up? Okay, you want the money, Mexican guy, over there? Money, money, money, money, money. Is this that Mexican Chris? Yes. What's up, Mexican Chris? We like the Mexican Chris over here. We like the Mexican Chris. So, we say, what's up to you there as well? Thank you so much for all of that. And there's another one, Pilot of Capital. In just a matter of moments, we'll go through a roll call, see who's here, see who's not. But right now, we've got some trading to deal with right there. I am now out. I only have about less than 10% left of this Intel trade, as it looks like it is bouncing off 65. Good level call out by Neil over there. 65, pretty much the low. Sure, we did wick down below, and that might have got enough to stop me out if we were thinking long. But this is not a horrible spot right now, maybe, for that long. We've now come back in and tested it three times, or maybe even more than that, on the downside. I wrote down Palantir 190. We said that there was going to be a collapse in Palantir off the open, like there was. But unfortunately, we nailed that short on Intel. And I got distracted from Palantir, which looks like a good idea. Palantir's still down that 4%. I like this stock, but downside right now, let's see if it can hold 190. If it does, then I like the upside opportunity from Palantir. Remember, a lot of stocks are going to get rinsed on early panic and early fears, right? We saw that yesterday with Palantir. We saw a huge battle back. We're seeing it today with Palantir. However, it wasn't 190, man. It was 186. So just like yesterday, we dropped down $7 on Palantir. There's another $7 right back on that one as well. So Palantir, not the greatest long. It doesn't seem like here. It's got to hold out hope in and around this 190 marker.
[01:42:36] Prince Hakeem: I believe we have some economic data. We're going to Adara.
[01:42:41] Speaker 1: Chicago PMI here coming out. I mean, it's not uploading here for whatever reason, but it's out at 55.3. We were looking for Chicago PMI 56 for the month of October. So there's 55.3 below that forecast and also below the prior print at 58.8. Here's the S&P 500 not reacting to this number. This is the last print of the day. We're going to get some Fed speak at 12 and 12.30. So stay tuned for some Fed speakers, neither of which, by the way, are actually voting members. We'll get daily at 12 and Muslim at 12.30. Back to you.
[01:43:10] Prince Hakeem: Thank you, Adara, as always. Yes, get it going, Netflix. If you can. There's some rebounds happening in the market. Right back in is Intel, though. And Google's going to break 280. I'd love for 280 to hold on the Alphabet, but if it's not going to happen, it's not going to happen. SoFi is the only one that's looking somewhat strong here, but it came into the prior close. We're short here in the teens, just looking for this to follow the market to the downside. I said I liked Circle as well as iBit, and Circle finally made a press higher. So this is the first touch of VWAP. If it loses VWAP, I'll probably jump into this one at the south side with free locates. I know we lost.
[01:43:48] Speaker 4: Shorts are still free, I think.
[01:43:49] Prince Hakeem: No, they're not. I had to pay for SpaceX. Some stocks that I'm doing are still. I had to pay for SpaceX. Some of the pink sheet ones are still free, it looks like. So, okay. Well, I can short Circle, so that one's a good one. But I had to pay for SpaceX.
[01:43:59] Speaker 4: There was, I don't know what you're trading at today, but that ADT was a buyout. Yeah, I know that one. Okay, good. You saw that yesterday. Yeah, okay. Yeah, we talked about it on the show yesterday, and I was like, this is a name that Neil would be all over there yesterday, because it was trading to $9.90 up to, I think it was $10. I'm not sure. Adara brought us a story earlier. It sucks, because it was an easy short. That's what I was. Fair Valley was like $83. Yeah, because we were talking about it, and I said, you know, potentially Neil would be looking at that. But buyouts are much better on. Yesterday, the shares just, you know, they decrease as the days get, you know. It's like Instacart. You want to trade the first day. Yeah, exactly. Oh, yeah, Instacart. Yeah, that was actually, we didn't even talk about Instacart yesterday. That would have been a good one there as well. All right, Super Chat. Senor Sean, when they're long on Google. Gracias, hermano. Okay, my friend. Yeah, so I don't know when Google long. It depends. We need some context. Monday? We have some context up in here. When is it long? Monday. Ooh, yeah. Good level to go long now. I mean, I, you know, I like these levels. I bought yesterday. Neil bought yesterday. Joe bought yesterday. Sharif bought yesterday. Everybody bought yesterday? Literally everybody. Yeah, we're screwed. Sharif came in. Exactly. That's what I'm saying. So I think that it's, you know. That's never good. If all four of us, traders on the desk, bought yesterday. That's never good. I think it's coming into a key level. And I think that that makes sense, right? I mean, we could all zoom out. We all have eyes. This is yesterday. This is actually October 30th last year. Right here. Right where we are. So this has done absolutely nothing for one year. But we know the story on Google still remains pretty strong. I think so. Anyways, I don't, you know, we don't like the YouTube myths. We don't like some of those ads, you know, losing on search and all this and all that. But they've grown a lot in that one year as far as data centers are looking, as far as the production of Gemini and what that leads to hopefully in the future. But for me, coming back in, I think this is a tranche buy. That's some of the stuff that we've been talking about the last couple of days. You don't, wow, by the way. Oh my gosh. No more appropriate of a day than to do this than today. But right there, we are going to the downside. Not celebrating at all. The last time I bought Intel was $98 or $92 or $95. Something like that at this point. Doesn't matter. Look how far down we are going right now on Intel. We just clapped that out for one, two, three dollars right now. You know, the Blue Jays have Looney Dog Day right here, man. Get three on me right there and you can get it into the downside there for Intel. But, you know, long story short about that Google trade, we all bought it thinking that this is going to be a level of interest. It's down 35% now from its all-time highs. I always say that if there's a good quality company that you like, and forget about tech names, Neil, and everybody, Mexican Chris and whoever messaged me that one there. You know, if it's a good company that you like, like Walmart got hit, right? They had some problems there operationally. You know, everyone was riding into tech. But you know that Walmart's a good stock. And I think we all talked about it down here at that 103, 104, 105 area. And look, it is shooting to the upside now up 2%. So sometimes when good stocks get hit and you still believe in the case, then you go in there and you buy it, right? So Walmart down that 20, 30% gave a buying opportunity. You know, I think the same thing is probably happening today as well. Yeah, Walmart. Whoever heard of Walmart? Oh, Joe, today at the close, we've got to do some math. You're long at 110.55. I'm long at Nike at 34.60. No, just to be exact, because it's really super close. It was, yesterday it was like within half a percent. But I think today you're going to get me because of where Walmart's, I can't believe this is going to come down to one day today. But both these names up 8% or 9% in the time. So we'll see who winds up winning that. We'll do some paper math after this.
[01:47:38] Prince Hakeem: Oh, that was hilarious. I just pulled up accidentally the blue ocean chart on Nike instead. I'm going to do the math now. And almost freaked out for you. I'm just going to ask the LLM. Tam Panda, thank you for the super chat. Given that Amazon has such a strong break above its 200 on the five-minute, would you treat it like a potential long gap fill setup or a fade? When I look at like those types of trades, I'm usually thinking strictly technicals off the 15. There, man, Google's at a huge level, that 280. It just bounced again off of it. I know, it's such a, you need to hold that level off a bit. It's such a big one. Why is this still on Nike? That's hilarious. I typed Amazon. I hit enter, go. It's a little bit late. Like to me, I said the 225 was an over-under play, right? So first candle, look at the first candle on the 15. Like what are you supposed to do with that? It's a big chase, but a continuation at least till 44. Have you proven anything unless you're busting out above the mid-40s? Probably not. But good companies tend to get dip bought. And, well, they're not dip buying Intel. They're dip buying Amazon. This one makes a little bit more sense to me. Because it gapped up from the overnight lows and was able to hold the higher low at the open. So it was not cresting at the bottom and freaking as many people out, lessening the blow. Watch out for this red to green story. Because oftentimes that's an obvious place of resistance, just arbitrarily when a stock tries to go green. That is way closer than I thought it was going to be.
[01:49:08] Speaker 4: Yeah, there it is right here. So actually, great calls. Joe and I with Tina Wilson Capital, we have to pat ourselves on the back here because this is from October the 8th. So what is my portfolio up or down since October the 8th? Put a minus sign in front of both of these, and I think you can probably still be light. But there it is right now. From October the 8th, when we issued the challenge, Nike, 12.3%. Right now, these are what the current prices are, what they are right now. Walmart, 11.76%. So regardless of who wins, I say congratulations, Joe. Those are some awesome calls there. And, of course, I didn't make any money off of it, so who really cares? Hopefully, we'll make a beer out of it or so. But, yeah, good calls there for Nike. And, you know, just what, it was just that, again, bad off earnings, right? Now, I think we can still see the same thing. Like, actually, right now, I'll take Google versus Nike or Walmart for the next following month if anybody wants that smoke as well. Or any of these names because I think you get a big advantage buying stock and being into a little bit of cash, right? Being cash positive, if you have some of that in your account and you're able to raise some cash over the last couple of days. To all of our points, I think, today, Amazon, great dip buy there. You know, just nothing but upside when they had some bad report, obviously. Not bad report, but not received well by the market. And even Microsoft, right? I mean, Microsoft did buy opportunities. Microsoft was at all-time highs after their report. Comes back in into 522. The sky's not falling on Microsoft. That might be a good buy opportunity in and around those spaces. For me, the name that we lost our way on yesterday, and it continues to go lower and lower and lower and lower and lower and lower and maybe lower, is Marvell. And, I mean, they're going to buy out Lumentum, so that's going to be another big buyout. L-I-T-E. But they didn't announce it officially. No, no, because Marvell only has $3 billion, $4 billion in cash, and Lumentum is an $80 billion company. So there's some debt concerns here, and I think that's the other problem. But this is not debt for build-out. That's the problem. This is debt for getting your company to be this huge conglomerate that they're trying to do by the optics, taking over everything optical. I like the play for Marvell, but I don't like it for the portfolio. So we're going to sit on our hands with this one and not even buy any more. We're lucky enough to sell some out. Actually, did we get some out on that day? Maybe. But we got some out on one of their previous earnings reports when we got up here in the 300s and so up there. But we're still holding the bag here. Not the bag. We're long at $80 on Marvell, so it's fine. But it's the unrealized. We were talking with some people earlier today, and it's like, sure, sky is falling, but sometimes you have to do, when you look at Intel.
[01:51:37] Prince Hakeem: Well, Joe was like, oh, but it's not so bad. Weren't you getting held on between $25 and $19? Right. I'm like, that's not the point. Right. It's what you've given up. I'm like, yeah. So that's, it doesn't matter whether you're still in the money. Like, it was, it's one thing to be long at like 23, 24 when it's at 140. Who cares? It's now at like 60-something dollars. You're not happy about that. Being up. And then Michael's like, oh, you're still up on the year, a double up. Oh, Michael Noss? Like, I get it. Like, I get it. That's, it doesn't make anybody feel better about the position. Trust me when I tell you. Maybe some people do. I don't know. It doesn't make me feel any better. Because then all you ask yourself is, why do I only ever take off 10% and then another 10% and then leave it at that if it's a long-term holding? But that's just how I roll. That Mexican, that Mexican Chris, I know we're going to keep using these puns. Good idea to short Bitcoin temporarily. I just covered because it did a bottom tail candle. Like, I think the sentiment is to the downside. It did the whole VWAP touch fade. First green candle reversal gets me out of it for the short-term trade. But then looking for, looking toward VWAP as a guide is going to make sense to me, right? Like, as long as VWAP holds, here, let's look at a higher time frame. That's a downtrend. That's a flat bottom break. 80,000 went. So whether you call it that or you look at the 45 support level on iBit, I think you're probably trending back in here to at least, like, 73, 74 was a good, reasonable support level. It's a sentiment shift, ultimately. Stupid things all over the place. It's a sentiment shift. People get a little bit spooked. And even if no private keys were hacked and everyone's getting their funds back, then it doesn't matter. There's less confidence today than there was yesterday. And if the buyers don't step in on a Friday and close this higher, that speaks for itself. And then throw in the midterms, too. Oh, the other thing you have to consider, though, is right now there's the expectation that Dems do well on Tuesday. If that were to surprise in the other direction, I would think that's good for crypto. Same. Yeah, you have to, like, you've got to dodge.
[01:53:45] Speaker 4: Oh, Dems win is good for crypto?
[01:53:46] Prince Hakeem: No, bad. Bad, right. Bad, yeah. So a surprise for the midterms would be good, in my opinion, for crypto. So that's, I think, if you're shorting it, then that's what you have to worry about. Teriyaki, whoops, Teriyaki PR. Hey, guys, you doing well? What do you guys think of Tesla today? There's so many stocks we didn't get to this morning. Chicken teriyaki. Oh, you're kidding me?
[01:54:08] Speaker 4: I love the teriyaki. We're doing pad thai tonight. Teriyaki, throw some teriyaki on that.
[01:54:13] Prince Hakeem: Maybe.
[01:54:14] Speaker 4: Aaron's boring with her.
[01:54:15] Prince Hakeem: What do you think about Tesla? I mean, I think it's holding out pretty well. I'd say only down 2% today, and it's one of the stocks that has a little bottoming tail candle. It's done way better on the daily chart than a lot of things. It's been upward trending, and it's maintained the upward trend since July. Even with this recent, like, rut, its prior resistance is holding its support. Like, the high 380s is holding on Tesla. Should have looked at this one, because that's that prior resistance, 390 area, and it does a bottom tail candle. Tesla looks pretty bullish. If this closes green, this candle, if this candle closes green, you've got a great little reversal for potential continuation on TSLA.
[01:54:58] Speaker 4: You know what it might be? I did the switch from Uber into Tesla, but I'm actually wondering if Uber's getting a little spicy right now at these levels. You've been really getting crushed there. I'm going to have to reevaluate the sort of thought right there with Uber. But, you know, let's see. We've got some big wick down bottoms there. I would kind of trade this the same way as that Nike thought, where Uber's crushed, man. Like, we can sit here and make fun of Nike and Lululemon and all these other names. Uber's not much better. You know, like, you still have some support there. And I know Nike did, was worse. I mean, as a, but this has been really getting faded out pretty good. And I just, I'm looking for that capitulated bottom. And if we can find a volume spike, you know, I think we're getting close. It's like $64, $65 there on Uber. I still like the business. But that DoorDash, Instacart thing is pretty interesting to me because I read something like they're going to take down, now hold 80% of the delivery business or something.
[01:55:55] Prince Hakeem: That antitrust is going to be interesting. Well, it'll be difficult to get that through.
[01:56:02] Speaker 4: Yeah, good look on that.
[01:56:03] Prince Hakeem: Especially with the Dems winning.
[01:56:04] Speaker 4: Like, Uber, for us around here, like, I think Uber dominates in Canada. I don't, and I guess Uber Eats, maybe you guys should let us know, like, maybe DoorDash and Instacart is just so much bigger. I know Instacart's more on the commercial side, I think, like delivering groceries and food and all that kind of stuff. But, like, for us over here, I just, I know anyways, from what my experience has been, is that I think Uber's a little bit more popular than DoorDash and whatnot in and around these joints, but. More people I know use Uber. Uber, yeah, yeah. So, okay, so we're, we, you know, we had less than 10% before, we have much less now. We just got covers down here at these lows. So, I'm going to stop out the last little. Market's flying right now. Yeah, I know. That's what I was going to say. If we can get a cover in and around the 66 marker there, I think that'll be the out for me as we've now taken out that 25 period moving average. We just got a couple outs right there over, there's actually two fills here as we broke back down above that level. So, we have, oh boy, we don't even have 10% left. We don't even have 5% left. We have, like, 2.5% left, I think, exactly on this trade. So, we hit it with four units. It was a good short there. You know, made our day so far. But, you know, we want to make more. It's a very violent day. Like, I think this is an opportunity to sit down and see if you can bank a little bit more today. But, again, don't chase. Like, if you're not feeling the long right now, you don't have to get it just because this is looking long. You know, be patient with what you're doing. Make sure your trades line up. That's the biggest thing for us. I know, I don't think Neil has a losing trade today. And if it is small, me neither. We just have one trade. I think it's important to understand that that first run was something. Now, we wait to see what that next sort of move is, right? I think it seems like they want to go green today. Yeah, as I say, potentially don't, like, layer into the shorts here because sometimes it's so bad it's good. And, you know, one costume that is really good is Adara's in the back there. Let's go find out how she's looking with her updates.
[01:58:02] Speaker 1: Papa Powell here with a market update. Here is the NASDAQ, as Sean and Neil mentioned. I mean, one of our first two 50-minute candles of the day is green. The one before that was a bottoming tail. So, really trying to recover. Obviously, still big red on the day, but the session is young. Let's see if this spooky Halloween session stays scary for the longs. If we take a look here at SPY, we also gap down, but trying to bounce here off these lows. So, SPY, NASDAQ looking very similar. We talked about USO. We didn't get too into this in the morning, unfortunately. But Iran basically saying there are some more boats or carriers here that are dealing with mines in the Strait of Vermeus. The Strait of Vermeus still going to be in focus here for sure. Keep an eye here on some of these earnings plays. We've talked a lot about Amazon. We've talked a lot about Intel. I want to get into some of the non-Amazon and Intel earnings plays today, including SNDK. SanDisk actually did announce a 8-for-1 forward split effective, I believe, November 17th. So, this is going to be, sorry, November 19th. This is going to be an interesting one here for SNDK. Adjusted EPS beat, sales beat. Slowing of growth is the issue here. Then you've got Reddit, RDDT, gapping down in a big way. This one also seeing growth slow down despite the EPS and sales beat. You also have Roblox here, which beat on EPS, beat on sales, not well received here by this market either. Other earnings day one plays in focus include Starbucks, Twilio, Pinterest, the aforementioned Amazon, and Intel. Rivian, there's a lot to look at today, guys. Back to you.
[01:59:32] Prince Hakeem: Thank you. Thanks, Adara. So, when we got out of iBit, this was the candle right after. And it goes right to the, it goes almost to where we shorted the flat break down under VWAP and then hammer down again. This is what volatility looks like. Like, the reversal is absurd, and then the reversal of the reversal is even more absurd. It's right back at the lows. That's a tricky re-entry. I'm not going to chase that re-entry down, but there is a potential to maybe get back into circle. I also got trailed out of SoFi. I might get back into that as well. SoFi, unlike Bitcoin, SoFi didn't get to the low of the day. It just got close, bounced off pre-market resistance, and then did this little workout. I put my trail at VWAP. If it gets back under VWAP, I'll rejoin as downward trend. But I think circle is going to be a potential here. It's made a bit of a top. If we lose VWAP, I'll jump into that name.
[02:00:24] Speaker 4: All right, man. We shorted Meta. It's a dollar club. That was pretty easy right there. But remember, dollar club, we're just doing this for fun. Dollar club and Meta, I mean, it's a $600 name. Not like going to be woo-hoo-hoo-hoo on this one too much. But we'll wait to see. We just got a nice print down there. We'll wait. It just went into 619 and stalled. So we'll put a bid down there again and see if we can grab it. Just playing off that high right there. Saw a little bit of a wick there. Was trying to wait for it. Went back over to Meta. You know, the fact that it was up. We could see, not up, but that epic run there. Went from 610 all the way back up. And if you're looking right here, we are right now at that 620 level, which is your 200-period moving average. So we're trying to take that. And it's a five-minute candle with a top wick. So we're going to go short against that. We talked about sort of building that strategy yesterday. You know, will it work? We'll find out, man. We only got out of 20% down there. So, you know, holding out for hope that we can get a little bit more near 621 and then using 621.50 as our out. Like I said, if the market wants to go, man, we are not going to sit in here and sort of just, like, you know, continue to support this short. If the short's not in, the short's not in. We did another one there as well with Intel. This one just cranked right back into 65 again. So that's going to be, for me, a good out. So we take that out again. They're in and around that 68 area. Sorry, 65 area for Intel. So, yeah, lighter and lighter now. We might as well cash out of this one very soon. A break of 66 we can get out of INTC. But, yeah, here we go, man. Meta's going to only be in. We take about a buck. We'll wait to see if we can get out of this one now. Spread, spready on Meta, man. That is for sure. Over 40, 50 cents when it opens up. So here comes Meta to the upside. Really great recovery on some of these names as, like, look at that. Boom, to the upside. We'll short it a little bit. But, yeah, it looks like right now we are going to cover up that last candle and see what happens here with Meta. Mark it now under VWAP at least.
[02:02:15] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, you know what? One of the strongest names is potentially turning. I'm jumping back into SoFi under VWAP. Probably shouldn't have got out of it. Yes, go Meta. But Amazon could be cracking to the downside as well. That's the strongest, well, of the earnings names, I should say. That's the strongest earnings name in the tech space today. If it loses the bid here, it would be a trend break. But I'd just hop back into SoFi. Like, just, I don't know, shouldn't have been out in the first place. The trend is still your friend to the end when it bends. If and when it bends. So I'm going to stay short that. What's up with NVIDIA? Says Traderpalooza. Been trending down all month. Have we hit the floor or more downside? I feel like we're going to get a lot of questions that involve, is this the bottom? Insert stock here. So, I mean, to say that it's not trending down on its own. Everything attached to AI is trending down. The circular nature of it. A few misses here or there on earnings. Everyone freaking out about Anthropic. That's what's weighing on it. Whether or not this ends up being the bottom, you have to wait for earnings on NVIDIA. And NVIDIA is always late in the cycle for their earnings report. So I think you got to play a little bit of the patience game. This is a stock. If I didn't already own so much of it. Whoops. I hit click. There we go. If I already didn't own so much of it, it's been holding a generally boring trend line that you'd be bouncing off around $200 with for what it's worth. So it's not at a ridiculous level. And it's a reasonable evaluation. I think you're probably a lot safer. Like if you put a gun to my head and said, what do you feel more comfortable at these levels? NVIDIA down 3% or Intel down 25%? I would actually tell you NVIDIA. Because I'm so uncertain. When Intel gets out of favor, I've seen what that can look like. And I've never seen that happen on NVIDIA. Another super chat here from CaliperData. Thoughts on CAT and GV post earnings. I'm much more interested in buying final, like the last quarter in GVernova than I am in Caterpillar. I'm just, I mean, I say this. I own both of these. So maybe that's why you're specifically asking them. Because these are two names that in my personal portfolio had for a while been, these are my non-tech names. You know, the bigger ones, including, and then Eli Lilly was the other one. And now all of a sudden they just turned into something else. I just like a little better where we are and how we're bouncing GVernova. I liked their quarter a bit better. Caterpillar was just way too parabolic. I'm not even thinking about buying into that one again until next year. Probably sometime next quarter. It's just the downward break on this is much more severe. I think the chart broke off. I'm just mad that I only sold 20% up near the highs, but that's the way I roll. It's just, GVernova's holding up much, much better. And I love their quarter. They had a good one.
[02:05:07] Speaker 4: Look, man, I'm doggone excited to be here, Mexicans. It should smell up. It does smell like dog up in there, man. It's real bad. And the good thing about this is we did a sanitize and a clean of this because it was down in the basement. So with our new washer, there's a sanitize feature. We sanitized it. We got it all cleaned out, steamed and everything, all that. But I'm still waiting. The dryer hopefully gets hooked up today as we had to get the side venting coming through, which I have no idea. No, because I needed side venting that I didn't realize about. But just quickly here as we ride. Always more to spend. We ride the bear here. Yeah, always more to spend. Meta, man, we took two bucks. I mean, Meta just fell right back in, right into our lap right in these levels. So 619. We actually got our best coverage is 619 flat. So 619, good out there. We'll see if it can come back in. What's up, Adara?
[02:05:53] Speaker 1: I have some updates here on Marvell and LITE. So keep an eye here on MRVL and LITE. David Faber of CNBC making some comments here on this acquisition. He said that Marvell is expected to acquire Lumentum in an all-stock deal. There's not going to be any significant takeover premiums. They're basically going to acquire them for their current valuation. Apparently they've largely agreed on said valuation and the deal could be announced as early as next week. Back to you.
[02:06:18] Speaker 4: Okay. Yeah, Neil and I just talking about what that's going to mean like for the closing prices when those deals finally, you know, come down. Because when Lumentum gets off the market, you know, you got to figure it out. That'll be like a Warner Brothers opportunity. There it is right now. $1.8 now. That's sick. Almost at 1.8%. Meta, I wish it was 1.8% in the money. That would be sick. Another cover right there. So, yeah, man, we are now $2 in the money on Intel. We're $2 in the money on Meta. We only got two trades today. So Meta faded, waited for it to happen. And shout out to everybody out there that told me, like, Sean, just wait and be patient. Well, today we had two thoughts on that one. We waited for Meta. We got it. It came right up into our 200 period moving average. We liked it. We liked the run up. We liked the run down there on Meta. So right now that's going to be huge, even more now. So about $2.50 in the money. But Intel's, we did not wait. We chose violence real early on Intel. 931. The minute it took down that low of the day, we are in that one. We saw ServiceNow. We saw Google. We saw many of these names that came out with really crappy reports get hit and keep on going. So right there, we just trusted it on Intel. And you could go the other way, right? I mean, Amazon, for example, you know, you would have been screwed if you took that short. But it never broke the low of the day. So that's the difference, right? On Amazon, you're looking to break the pre-market highs. Well, that's a jinx. Yeah, everything's a jinx. But we'll wait to see right there. Oh, yeah, we had something yesterday. Joe was jinxing something. And it was something.
[02:07:41] Prince Hakeem: Well, if Amazon breaks the low of the day after being up, what, $30 off that low? Or whatever the heck it is. It's probably not $30. If it does, then just remember, you can't blame this one on me, Ozan. Yeah, where's Ozan? Sean jinxed that one, not me. That is exactly like saying, oh, the kicker, he hasn't missed a field goal. I don't believe in jinxes. Of over, you know, under the 40-yard mark, blah, blah, blah. Well, you kind of missed an extra point yesterday.
[02:08:09] Speaker 4: Yesterday? Man, that Trey Smack, he got to get smacked down. He's lucky that we wound up winning that game. And shout out to all the Packers. And shout out to you, Easy Peasy. Easy Peasy, super chatty yesterday. He said, should I put $500 on Green Bay? And you know, your boy said, oh, hell yeah. Yeah, it's the Panthers, but what do you even make? Oh, hell yeah, but we took this. I mean, the spread was only three and a half. So, yeah. In Green Bay? It was a great one, yeah. The Panthers aren't that good. Well, the Panthers are three and three. But they're not that good. I know, but Green Bay. I don't think they're that good. Anyways, good move there. So, we're loving that there. Kikos, thank you so much for that. I mean, we're really happy to be here today. Neil and I all dressed up. Adara also dressed up. We're excited to put that on. And shout out to Jessica over there. Devilish costume she's in over there. There's Green Bay. Shout out to Wisconsin. Wisconsin's on one these days. Shout out to the Milwaukee Brewers, man. I mean, they took their own. Did you see them come out with the, they came out on the field? On the field, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Us Wisconsinites really support each other. What's up to Ozan right there? Does still blame you for Amazon, by the way. Hurt Scrambler's there. Shoran Wang. Has anyone heard of INTU? Says Shoran Wang. We saw them in the pre-market. M. Patterson's here. Kiko. Hey, Arun. Hey, Big Daddy Arun. He's there. What's up, Bovin? And if more Sharif, boom for you, Bovin. The OG Bovin. Sean is here. Gene. DDG Rabbit. What's up, Rabbit? It's that rascally rabbit himself. Hangry Wife. The future man is there. There's Milwaukee with M. Wave. Douglas Carlson. Chart attack. And every single person. Jesse Martinez. Hey, Jesse Martinez. Hey, make me some more pictures of us. What's up, Old Wise Trader as well? Andrew Chow. B-Town. What's up? Maybe that's for Neil. Says hi to B-Town. What's up to Ronaldo as well? And everybody that's with us, we want to say thank you for joining as right now, by the way, as we continue to talk, blah, blah, blah, Sean, talky, talky, too muchy, muchy. But there goes Meta. Look at that, Phil, that we just got on Meta. And yes, sir, it is real. $16.80 right there for $1, $2, $3, $4 right there on that name. So as we said, stick to your guns, man. Stick to whatever method you think is a profitable one for yourself. Sit there, trade it, have fun, and enjoy this Friday with us. Not as gas, like, now I shouldn't say that. I just, look, I thought the market was down at lows.
[02:10:27] Prince Hakeem: Well, I didn't hit it this morning. I actually said I was going to start doing this a little more often. When we hit 3%, we're going to hit that button again. If we hit 3.5%, every single time we lose another half a percent, then we're going to hit the button. The ES is now 1.4, the NASDAQ 2.9% to the downside. But we are, yeah, maybe a little bit of a bounce is happening here, but not too much at the NASDAQ lows. Let's go to Adara. Maybe we'll have some kind of a bullish update at some point, although I doubt it.
[02:10:59] Speaker 1: This isn't really market moving, but it does have to do with the U.S.-China relationship. So I want to mention, skim out about 10 minutes ago, basically what happened is the Chinese Commerce Ministry has some issues with an action from the FCC of the U.S. to ban a China lab testing. So they're basically strongly dissatisfied, and they firmly oppose, quote unquote, the FCC ban on China lab testing. Furthermore, the Chinese Commerce Ministry says that if the U.S. continues to go in their ways and act, or sorry, in their view to act against the Xi-Trump agreements, that China will then, quote, implement additional necessary countermeasures. So, unfortunately, things could be heating back up again between China and the U.S. Back to you.
[02:11:39] Speaker 4: Uh-oh. I saw Trump said something positive about Canada yesterday, by the way. He did. We're going to get a deal done. That was nice there. He's trying to think about, he said he loves Canada. He loves everything about Canada. It's just our leaders are questionable. So, from one leader to another, man. Trump, thank you so much. Well, we have the best leaders in the world. Where's that Trump thing about Sean that he said there?
[02:11:56] Prince Hakeem: I'll tell you this right now, though. Our prime minister has unbelievable taste in food. Do you see how he's eating on those flights?
[02:12:03] Speaker 4: Our prime minister? Yeah. Probably crushing it?
[02:12:05] Prince Hakeem: Dude, they spent $180-something thousand on food, on private jet flights, over the last... Anyways, he hadn't been elected that long. But, hey, man. Sharif loves him. When you got it, you got it, I guess. But it's our money, so...
[02:12:21] Speaker 4: Yes, exactly.
[02:12:21] Prince Hakeem: He doesn't have it. We have it. He's eating. Federico Von Yummy Pants looks like Neil jinxed the cat over his shoulder. I'm betting it don't bounce today. Well, the market, at some point, is going to catch a bid. I don't know when, but at some point, the market will catch a bid. See? That's... Or how about... Actually, I'll go the other way. How about I'll... We'll jinx... Because people like it when the market goes up. So, you know what? The market's never going to catch a bid. It's all doom and gloom. Things are only going to get worse. We're probably headed for a 4% down day, and hopefully that will get us back to the upside. I said I wanted Circle to try to jump into this one after the pop. It did this VWAP break, kind of trend break-ish move. Basically, VWAP to the low of the day. It's SSR, so I'm going to be pretty careful here. If it creeps back above the volumated average price, I want to jump out. And if you're wondering, what is that term that you guys say? SSR. It just means it's like the short sell rule, which doesn't prevent you from shorting, but it means you can only hit the bid to go short if the last print was green. It's known as the uptick rule, and it is an effect on anything that's down over 10%. So, like Roblox, Intel, Reddit, which we haven't even looked at today, and a whole lot of... ARM, probably SSR as well. All these things, if you want to hit the bid to sell right away, you actually have to be in a long position. So, it tells you something about stocks that still rapidly fall when they're SSR, like Intel. It's much worse than you think, because it's harder for shorts to pile in in situations like that. Green Bay ranked... Wait a second. 14... Sorry, one... Ranked one. One. Oh, one for emergency service.
[02:14:07] Speaker 4: So, it's the number one in the whole country? I don't know if that's a joke or not, but Christian Watson came back from a broken rib yesterday. Yeah, he went to the hospital. To play, so I think maybe that's what you're referencing. Oh, okay. That's an interesting point there about Intel, because I just punch short. I think it's a liquidity is good, I guess. No, but it was down... Oh, yeah, I guess it just went back and forth. Maybe that's what it was. We actually got the price... What key do you use? Let me tell you. I think it was Frex. I'm always using Frex, which is just a routing key. Yep, yep, routing key. And I actually got... It was a break of 6770, Neil, and I got 6770. So, I think, to your point...
[02:14:40] Prince Hakeem: You've got to use routing keys. It just went up and down there. Because I find if you use a traditional gateway, when it's SSR, it's a lot trickier. Because you're looking... You need that uptick. So, someone, if you're routing to a bunch of different gates, one of them is going to have a little green, and then you just... You kind of get filled wherever there happens to be an uptick. But if you just hit, like, a single key that doesn't route, when it's SSR, you might not get filled.
[02:15:00] Speaker 4: I did want to say a story about Detroit. So, we were actually, unfortunately, and it's sad, because it happened in the very first game, a player on GST broker, Collarbone. What? There in Detroit. And, of course, being in Canada, you know, our coverage doesn't necessarily kick over to that side. Thankfully, this individual is a teacher, and plus, when you travel, you put insurance on the credit card, so on and so forth. So, everything turned out to be A-OK for them. But I got to give a shout-out to Detroit, because, you know, if you ever have to go to an emergency room or something here in Canada, you're probably waiting minimum eight hours for anybody even to see you, unless you literally have a bullet in your head or something, okay? They waited about 25, 30 minutes, got service immediately. I'm sorry, what? She was back. Yes. X-rayed. Saw two doctors, got a sling, everything, out the door with medication, was back before the start of the next game. That's great. It was back. So, you know, it was an absolute, like, everyone can say, oh, Canada, healthcare, this and that. But, and it's true. You know, we pay out the wazoo for it. It's great. You know, you get pregnant. It doesn't cost you anything. You know, you go to the hospital. Everything's covered. But I just want to say a shout out to Detroit, and I don't know if they're known for it, but that was pretty awesome. Because I know all the parents were like, wow. That's crazy.
[02:16:20] Prince Hakeem: No, I'll tell you real talk. I don't want to disparage our healthcare system. But let's just say, I had to go to the hospital years ago because of a weird reading on the EKG. So, like, we're taking you in. This was, like, a weird reading. Yeah, like something major. They want to do, they want to run some tests. I think it was about nine o'clock at night. I didn't get out of the hospital. It was a weekday. I didn't get out of the hospital until, like, 3.30 or something that morning. It was insane. I'm like, whoa. I mean, whatever. I didn't drop dead or anything like that. But it's just, like, 3.30. Six and a half hours. Crazy. Let's go to, I think we're going to Adara.
[02:16:59] Speaker 4: We got hurt at, the arena's called Allen Park. So, if you guys are in Michigan or you know about that area near Taylor. And, anyways, that, so whatever hospital that was, shout out, shout out to that. So, anyways, that's just a little nice story in a day where, you know, the market is not treating us that nicely. Bleeding its own fire. Yeah, like, we almost need to have some, you know, this needs to go with some hemorrhaging. Eat some candy. Right now. I think the market needs to go to whatever this hospital is and get patched up. Uh, right now. But, um, let's go catch up with Adara. Don't be easy.
[02:17:38] Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I once waited for 15 hours in the emergency room. So, it's not always a vibe here. I do also want to mention Intel, guys. INTC, apparently, their five-year credit default swap widened to a record high of 123.5 basis points. That's on track for the biggest one-day move that these swaps have had since October of 2022. So, rough look there for INTC. Let's take a look at BURU. The new BURU has been in focus here since yesterday. As of Friday after the bell was lost yesterday morning, they've regained NYSE, American continued listing standards. So, compliance regained here for BU, RU. This is a continuation trade with that in mind. $6 million market cap, 12.5 million share float, 12% short float. Next up here, SLGB Smart Logistics, another name that's rallied in the past. They received a 180-day NASDAQ extension. So, another NASDAQ listing-related play here with a $15 million market cap, a 23 million share float. Last but not least, AIOK. This name's had quite the rally over the last couple days. Tuesday after the bell day announced that their CEO reported a purchase of 130,000 shares. So, AIOK, SLGB, and BURU all in focus today.
[02:18:48] Prince Hakeem: There is no stopping AIOK, apparently. Yeah. Yeah, so... Oh, that BURU, too. B-U-R-U. I remember that one. B-U-R-U, yeah. This just broke 30 bucks. It broke Wednesday's highs. So, it's trying to make its first dip on the 15-minute. Watch out for... Obviously, watch out for VWAP and what else are you going to look at. Falling weighted average price is 26. Yesterday's highs around that range as well. So, if you're looking at AIOK or BURU.
[02:19:16] Speaker 4: BURU, I like that name. Yeah, BURU. Oh, that's a penny stock. What's his name? Raider Trader actually mentioned, said, watch out for BURU. And it didn't do anything in the afternoon after he left us. But it did gap up today. Hopefully, you got out in the market. Yeah, or I don't know. He was just saying it for yesterday afternoon. I don't want to tell everybody that. He's long that name. But he was saying, watch out for some action in the afternoon. I guess it gave it to you at the end of the day.
[02:19:39] Prince Hakeem: That's not bad. 34 to 42, 20% off of VWAP a couple times. And then it gave you a gap up here. Just always watch out for penny stocks at obvious levels, right? Like, I mean, at the most obvious levels that are for bag holding, you've got to pay attention to them. And so 50 cents makes an obvious level in there as it does head back into the downside. Now it's just going to give it all up now that we've looked at it. This is a problem. I feel like every single time I pull up a small capper or a runner, or we're talking about it, and we finally pull up on screen for you guys, it's just tanking. And the move is already done. That's my bad if Buru is burning everybody. But things are starting to calm down a little bit. And by calm down, I mean they're not. The NASDAQ just crossed the red. Sorry about that joke. NASDAQ's now down 3.13%. Jeez. Just for the record, I'm still, so far I'm getting out at 1675. This has been the level all week long, well, the last three days anyways. Whether it was the high, the breakout, support, support, 1675 is its own story, so I'm out when it breaks that or holds on to that level. But the Qs, man, 3.15% down. You know what I'm going to do?
[02:20:55] Speaker 4: Where's that winning one? Do we have that one?
[02:20:56] Prince Hakeem: I don't know what I, I might just, I might DCA like the Qs or something. It's a winning key for the Trump.
[02:21:04] Speaker 4: He's like, all we're doing is winning. He's in front of that, he's in front of, there it is. That's the one. We can't take it anymore.
[02:21:11] Speaker ?: Mr. President, it's too much. And I'll say, no, it isn't. We have to keep winning. We have to win more.
[02:21:19] Speaker 4: Right. We have to win more.
[02:21:20] Prince Hakeem: And I think we should probably hear. What all he needs to do is buy another 10% in Intel.
[02:21:26] Speaker 4: Put my screen on and put that on again. Oh, no, no, no, no, no. There we go. This is the meme that was actually out there, right? It was like him standing in front of a bunch of these names. And it was just like, we have to win more. Yeah. So, yeah, about, about winning more. Look, I, the one thing I got to say about, you know, the current president, I mean, we have lots of things to say, very passionate about winning and about the, you know, America and all that. So, you know, on a day where it is bleeding, we, of course, just poking a little bit of fun at it, but it's not nice. You know, there's a lot of blood here in the streets. And I, we keep saying that, I got to think of something else, but Amazon down 30%. The health space is nice. This is why we talk about getting other names in the portfolio, right? Like J&J dipped by on that earnings. That went down to 250. That was a good job. Yeah. AbbV was in the news for something else today too. So AbbV 1.3%. We like that stock. I really liked that. I bought this stock. You can go back and Google it. Whenever they bought that Botox maker, they bought them out like maybe 15 years ago or something. That's when I got into AbbV and it's been a minute since and we haven't got anything out. So that's been a good trade there for AbbV, the dividend payer as well. So you're collecting those divvies. But I think if there's anything that's going to be weak, you know, you might want to look. Morgan Stanley down 3%. Goldman Sachs down 3%. JP Morgan down 1.5%. The cash rich, cash rich company that is Berkshire Hathaway. They're laughing right now as we scramble to find out where to, you know, put our cash into some of these names. They're probably sitting on a whole bunch still. We'll wait to see their next filing. You know what? I think Berkshire actually goes down. And like, I like Berkshire. Don't get me wrong. And I'm still in it. But I, like, cash is costing you something right now. Now, being in names is obviously costing you something as well.
[02:23:07] Prince Hakeem: But look at the thing they've been buying. Right. They've been buying, what? Apple? No, Alphabet and what? Sirius Satellite? Alphabet was one of the newer ones. Alphabet was the one that they've been buying. So that can't be good for them.
[02:23:18] Speaker 4: It's just like sitting on cash. Now you've got to start deploying the cash. So I want to see what Berkshire is deploying that cash in and how that's going for them. So we'll wait to see on their next filing about Berkshire because, wow, upside there. And look, if they're in cash, they're obviously in notes. So they're getting that 3%, 4%, 5%. Oh, yeah.
[02:23:34] Prince Hakeem: If you look at it, they're heavy. Because everyone was comparing how much cash big companies have. Because Anthropic has record amounts of cash. If you looked at it for the equivalents and notes, like Berkshire was way up there. So they are making something on it. But the market's been doing so well that it's still not good. Let's be real.
[02:23:53] Speaker 4: I mean, it has been a nice run for Berkshire. So there's nothing we could do there. Yeah, I don't think he's buying Intel. I don't think they are anymore. Actually run now by Canadian Greg Abel. All right. So 16. I bet you he gets great health care. All right. So down into here, 16. I don't think I'm worried about it. We just bounced off 616. He's rich. Not 316, Joe, of course. 616.
[02:24:15] Prince Hakeem: He's not even paying attention. He's not paying attention.
[02:24:17] Speaker 4: Joe's just, he's like, man, why didn't I wear a costume today? There he is. You know, what's going on, Joe? See, that guy. He has a costume. He's a bank robber. Bank robber. Someone said that Joe's costume today is a supply teacher.
[02:24:27] Prince Hakeem: You know what? Actually, it could just be Rocky. It's got the toque, the gray sweater. If I could show you my daughter, you guys might know.
[02:24:36] Speaker 4: I'm going to see if I can get a picture of Gia. That's Rocky. What's she dressed up in? I don't know. Can you? Trixie. Trixie from... Do I know that? I think Jessica might know. I should know all these. Trixie from some kind of... She has ponytails. I don't know the... Oh, I forget the play. I'm going to get a picture. Can you send... It's from a show I've never seen. Subway Surfers? Some of that.
[02:24:59] Prince Hakeem: People were saying Speed Racer?
[02:25:01] Speaker 4: Yeah, Speed Racer? Maybe Speed Racer. Yeah, I'm going to say...
[02:25:04] Prince Hakeem: Fairly OddParents? There's a bunch of guesses on it. No, no, no.
[02:25:07] Speaker 4: It's something like that. I'll find it out for you. My bad. Just give me a second.
[02:25:11] Prince Hakeem: We've got Frederico Von Yummy Pants. BKRB reports today. Must be Speed Racer. That's what it's... BKRB. Did we typo? BKRB. That's Berkshire. Yeah. I thought they report on Mondays.
[02:25:27] Speaker 4: They report on the weekends. Don't they? They... No report for Berkshire. Well, Adair, I want to speak in here. Do you know anything about Berkshire or...
[02:25:35] Speaker 1: I know they didn't report today. Usually you come in on Monday. They usually are kind of in between the seasons and I didn't see them on my calendar schedule to report on Monday either. I could be wrong. Sometimes things update late. But I mean, I know for a fact they didn't report today.
[02:25:49] Prince Hakeem: Berkshire earnings. All right, all right. November 6th. Hey, the day before my mom's birthday.
[02:25:55] Speaker 4: Yeah, okay.
[02:25:56] Prince Hakeem: So I see, yeah, November 6th.
[02:25:57] Speaker 4: So what day is November 6th? Oh, it's so crazy. I'm saying that like it's not next week. Oh, you're right. It's a week today. So maybe you just mixed up the calendar days there. There you go. Are we in November yet? No, soon. We are on this weekend. Soon. And we lose an hour. Yep, yep. Oh, she, yeah, Marissa didn't get, so she's going to a Halloween party tonight. So Marissa didn't get a picture of her this morning. But I'll show it there soon. Once I get one. Yeah, so just on Meta, nice retracement back up to the upside. You know, we have been getting some out, obviously, on this move down. I mean, we're not expecting this to last all day. So we'll take another piece right here as we break above the 25 pre-moving average. You know, generally an out in and around 620. But I'm going to try to hold this again. I don't think we're going to reload it. The market did have its move down. And actually, Meta did not go down the way I thought it would have, right? Like, I thought this market being down 3%, Meta would be down more than 1%. So that's not a relationship right now that I want to average into. So we did take it twice, man. And oh, boy, it was nice. So that's a good trade for us there. We added back. So I only made 10% on this Meta than what I made on Intel. But I did tell you I smashed it right there. And it just, you know, bled throughout. And we did actually really good getting out. I want to thank Neil for talking about 65. Once we saw that big size there, that was a lot of outs for me down there at 65. So we did wait for that to come through. Once it did, man, you know, out 6550s, out into 65. Once it broke down, we still had some in the quiver there to get out at 64 change. I only have two trades today. It is, you know, obviously NASDAQ-based Intel downside, Meta downside. And then the other one that I was waiting for and should have done it at VWAP, man. We had the two on that. Forget about VWAP. This is my baby. I'm the only one here using the 200 period on a one-minute chart. And it's just like that would have been something up there, especially with these top wicks. Obviously dangerous to trade it. So it's easy when you look back. But that would have been something to look at. So if this can come back up. And not only that. Oh, my God, Sean. You messed this one up again. Oh, boy. Shout out to Easy Peasy, who just basically says, forget Sean. He gives us the levels. It doesn't trade them himself. But right there. There's TQQ. 64.50 short. It got to 64.30 and, you know, and built out where, you know, levels that we like. Because often we'll write things down and it doesn't mean anything. It has to get to those levels and look good. You know, so that actually looks pretty good up there. So mistake by me. But look, we pivoted. We went over to Meta, obviously, and we shorted it. That was probably at the same time. So, you know, I'm really happy with the performance there. We are giving some back on the way back up here. But we've already locked it in on Meta. And right now, just to talk about how many shares I actually have. It's about 15, a little bit higher than that percent left on this trade. So still willing to stop out near the top break of 621, but not averaging back in. So just thought that Meta would go down further and it didn't. That's all. End of story. We should have got more at VWAP right there. 6, 16, 50. I don't know why we were there. We were probably talking about ketchup and mustard or something.
[02:28:56] Prince Hakeem: I see Asacino snuck the side cam in while I was eating some fruit.
[02:28:59] Speaker 4: Oh, Asacino's ruthless.
[02:29:00] Prince Hakeem: The assumptions you made. The most ruthless is Tiffany, though. Where is Tiffany? Tiffany was cold-blooded the other day. This might be β I don't want to say this is a bottom on the market, but, you know, there's a bottom tail wick on the 15 that just closed on the NASDAQ. I'm in circle, which is threatening to break the downtrend itself. So there could be a little bit of a turn here. If this holds on to the trend line, I'm jumping out. We're short VWAP, not the high. Not that it matters, but I don't want this thing getting out of hand and then bouncing all the way up to, like, 74 almost where the local high is. And I'm short 73. So if it holds trend, lower the day out. If it breaks trend, out right here underneath the volume weight average price. So far, this is kind of the same thing. Market's trying to bounce. Re-entered this one after trailing out. I sort of jumped back in, so gave up this distance to get into the trade. Still looking for 16.75. I'd reload this at VWAP if we got the chance. And just to cover some names that we haven't really gotten into. We looked at, I mean, we looked at NVIDIA. So you got a chance to be able to see some relative strength in NVIDIA. What hasn't broken the low, and I'm surprised I didn't realize it. I told you ARM was SSR. We talked about most everything that was down a boatload. Imagine it's 10.30, and not once did we mention that AMD went down double digits. I know, right? Think about how bad the day has to be that it's not even a thought. It never even occurred to me. Say, oh, by the way, AMD's SSR. Like, go figure. But what's good about this... Is NVIDIA holding up? NVIDIA's holding up pretty decent. I mean, look, it's all relative. When we say something's holding up decently, believe me, it's all relative. Nothing looks that good. Everything looks pretty... Most things look pretty bad today. But the 500 level from last week is holding up pretty well over there on advanced... Money Destroyer. Nah, well, debating. Let's not pile on. Advanced micro devices. I'm not trying. I'm not going to pile on. I'm not trying to pile on. Money Destroyer. Because how can you call it the Money Destroyer when Intel's down 25% or 27% or what the heck is it now? Something probably worse. 30%? I don't know. Whatever it might be. So trailing out here on Circle. I'm not reversing into longs on trend breaks. Because I'm not overly convinced that we're headed to the upside. But this... I pivoted from iBit to this, but I could have stayed into iBit. It was just more of a setup thing. That was a wild candle at VWAP. Didn't really want to chase that move. And it was a little cleaner on Circle. But I can jump back over to just shorting this downtrend as well. Man, this market is crazy.
[02:31:37] Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm going to post it up right here. And this is what I do on Twitter if you're looking. I posted already that we were short. I just want to say right now, out on that VWAP break of our last 2%, something like that. So, yeah, I just want to say that was the end of that trade. And, hey, new position. Let's just see if NVIDIA wants to hold. I mean, I know we just kind of talked about it. We've now come out. As Joe said yesterday, we were looking at some trades. He's like, oh, man, you know, that's a setup for you. And I forget what stock it was. But it had come back in. And it was like around this time. It came into some levels that had been holding before. So, I'm going to try, again, a quarter of a unit here on Intel. Sorry, on Intel. On NVIDIA. And we'll see if it wants to climb back up to the high side. Let's get something out here in the 20s if we can. Because we're going to stop out at that low wick, which is like a 75 or so print. So, if we can get some out on the upside, we'll try that. You know what? It doesn't look very strong, man. So, we only have a quarter of a unit. Let's get half a unit on that move right there if we come into 75. And then we'll use 50 as our outs. You know, to lose whatever it would be at that point on that many units would be definitely fine by me. Looks like we just had a hard time getting through 20s there. Let's sit at 19 and see if we can get some out on NVIDIA. Just, okay, there it goes. We get 20 and we get 25s there immediately. So, now upside play. Yeah, let's go, man. That was a good one. We'll put down another chicken dinner winner for everybody here as well. And because it's that kind of a day, let's fire off some glizzies right there. Everybody gets a glizzy for you. It's dollar hot dog days today as there it goes. Back up to the upside goes NVIDIA. So, hey, man, three stocks today. And nothing but love there. Intel, kaboom. Medec, blam. There and then now NVIDIA go boom in the night. And there's 50 cents. That's a hell of a trade right there for NVIDIA as it just goes up into the 50s there. So, we just make 50 cents in about two minutes. So, that's a good one there. It's 50. All right, bang. Get out of here. Let's see what winds up happening now. We only had a quarter of a unit. We're only out of 20%. Let's get out of some more.
[02:33:35] Prince Hakeem: As that's going up, I think there could be bad things happening to a stock that has been strong when that stock has been weak. That's Nike. Oh, okay. I know that you guys have the bet going on, but probably Walmart's doing the same thing. I haven't looked. Let's hope so. But as a market recovers, this is the other direction. Downward wedge into a flat bottom break. So, I think tech bouncing is bad for Nike. I mean, it could be bad for a lot of other names. Retail, maybe healthcare pulls back. But I see a very distinct range. 38.3, 38.8, which gives you about 1.5% range if it breaks down. If it breaks this little trend, it's an easy out above, like, say, 38.90. I feel like my keys are sticking a little bit. So, I'm going to try to get short here. It hasn't broken the bottom yet, so I'm trying to short it at the 80 level. If we can get it, it might creep on down and get some as 75 breaks. And then get the rest at the 80 and then have an easy out there. Lots of room to fill the gap. So far, it still looks like it's going to be a bit of a dog. See, there's a... It just immediately reminded me of another name that we didn't talk about. So, in a Nike, if it breaks trend, I'm out looking for that gap fill. Imagine a day where there was a huge hack. And Bitcoin goes ham. The market's getting absolutely destroyed and not once even mentioned. By the way, Robinhood went SSR as well.
[02:34:55] Speaker 4: Oh, no. What about SoFi?
[02:34:57] Prince Hakeem: SoFi actually held up at the open much better than you would expect. Okay. Because they're just not as thought... They're not as crypto-related. So, they don't get punked when there's weakness in crypto as much as some of the others. But Robinhood is trying to bounce off that 80. If it had gotten to 80, believe me, that's the level I'm looking for the first potential bounce on Robinhood. It didn't get there today, but it's only 1040. It's entirely possible that it still sees that 80 level. And that's major support there for Robinhood. It's also the last place that I bought the stock was in front of the 80 level. So, we might be reloading some Robinhood at that price. Although, that's not a name that I'd auto-buy. Like, I just... Stock like Google, I don't mind just sitting on the bid for months and then having an order just fill. Robinhood, on the way back down, I don't actually get that kind of a feeling. From Jen here, fantastic rapper, Jen. You're one of the greatest all-time in Freestyle Friday history. For sure. Best traders, Neil and Sean, does per matter anymore? Per what? Per?
[02:36:06] Speaker ?: Hyperliquid.
[02:36:08] Speaker 4: Hyperliquid? Oh, is that the stock? P-E-R? Oh, okay. I don't know, but right now, we're just... We'll talk about that in a minute. Dollar Club right now on NVIDIA, man. We just put this on right there four minutes ago. Now, in the money, a dollar.
[02:36:18] Prince Hakeem: P-E-R. Oh, P-E ratios. Okay. Okay. Yeah, it's... Okay, that's... I mean, if you put P slash E, it obviously would have gotten it that way. But... The thing about... The thing about P ratios or forward P, it's like, the best way to phrase it, it matters when it matters. And typically, when we're in the most bullish runs are exactly when P doesn't matter. When the market's under pressure, right? Like, if a sector becomes under some pressure for whatever... I don't care what the reason is. It could be leverage. It could be something fundamental. War. Rates. Whatever the reason is, then it starts to make a difference, right? Like, the things that are overpriced when there's pressure on the sector tend to get harder. The companies and the... Like, the key... The companies that have fundamentally worse debt structures, that stuff matters when the sector goes into bear territory, when the sentiment changes. On the way up, none of that crap matters, man. Like, I don't care what anybody tells you. On the... You think Arm's PE mattered on the way up? No. Oh, but darn sure it matters on the way down. That's why Arm drops more off the top than NVIDIA does.
[02:37:26] Speaker 4: That's why Walmart dropped. Like, people were so... All of a sudden, they're talking about their PE, and then they're not.
[02:37:30] Prince Hakeem: Yeah. So, it's always when there's sentiment in the downside that the fundamentals start to get paid attention to, like, your high PEs. I believe we need to see how the U.S. dollar is doing up with... Oh, no, it's Sector Watch with Chairman Powell. It is Sector Watch.
[02:37:51] Speaker 1: Let's take a look here, guys, at these sectors, because it's not all as weak as you might think it would be. I mean, tech obviously selling off and leading the market to the downside, but Eli Lilly up 4% on earnings day two, trying to buoy the health tech sector. Retail trade. Sean's friend, Costco, as the hot dog, you know, you've got to succeed that with Costco. They're up 1%. Walmart up 1%. And Amazon recovering nicely from lows, now only down 2% on earnings day one in retail trade. Energy Mineral is also doing well, unfortunately, though, as we get ongoing unrest and uncertainty between the U.S. and Iran. Utilities are green. Consumers on durables, very green. You've got communications to the upside, TMUS, up big here on earnings day two. Commercial services, process industries. Let's talk about what's weak, unfortunately. Producer manufacturing, this is a rough look. LRCX and AMAT, each down 5%. Health services, weak. Tesla, leading the consumer durable sector to the downside. Technology services, all these software names. Big sell-off. Palateer, Oracle, each down 4%. Then you've got Apple 11 and Datadog, which are down to the tune of almost 10% each. Electronic tech is a bad look. Apple, relatively flat. But all these names selling off here in connection with Intel's 27% sell-off, unfortunately, on earnings day one. Back to you.
[02:39:08] Speaker 4: Man, we are loving life right now. Thanks, Adara. As, yeah, the sell-off does continue. But you've got to find strength in some names. And we did exactly that, I feel like, right here, right now with our good friend, NVIDIA. That's now $1.50. We just cashed out some there above VWOP, right into, again, not the high of the day, but close enough to that. So we're excited to see where NVIDIA goes from here. But, yeah, so far, so good on that little bit of a look there for NVDA upside. We're cashing out more and more here as, oh, Meta came out, obviously, as that broke. So there it goes. So that was fine. We're actually pretty happy. I mean, not happy, but we were able to get some more out there as we worried about it there on the way back in. So that worked out okay. And then, yeah, just flipping over, flipping our focus over to another name. And, of course, that other name is right here with NVDA. So, yeah, that, you know, gave us a little bit more money to the upside there. And then Intel does blow its, you know, face off there through VWOP again, through up to the 200-period moving average, almost right back to where we shorted initially. So good thing those profits were taken early and we were able to get out of that. But TQ is right back to the highs again. Then we were just like, oh, my God, the market's at lows. And then look at that rally that they just put on. Wow, this market is crazy.
[02:40:16] Prince Hakeem: It is. It has been a while, but we're still 2.5% down. Like, that's the thing. Like, we're not putting that big of a dent in the day. So, yeah, you just rallied from the low back into some resistance in here. But one green. Like, we've already seen this on the 15-minute already. Like, bounce, test the highs, hammer down, bounce, test the highs. I hope it's not hammered down because I actually think if the market were to hammer down, then Nike would go in the other direction. So, I might reload this SoFi at VWOP. It just doesn't want to do one good push. Give me a topping tail. And then I'd try to get a few more shares in there as well. Dave Stanley. Hey, Sean. Nike versus Walmart. Joey wins. Nope. It's literally within 1%. It depends what happens. That's what I'm saying. Like, it was within 1% an hour ago. So, I seriously doubt it. Here's the map right here. I seriously doubt it's true.
[02:41:07] Speaker 4: Yeah. So, this has to alter. So, this was about an hour ago. But Walmart, to everybody's point, it's just going to come down to the last day. So, my hat's off to Joe. That's today. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So, it's going to come down to today, what winds up happening. We were winning in the pre-market. But you can see right now, Walmart.
[02:41:25] Prince Hakeem: Nike's up 1.1.
[02:41:27] Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So, Walmart. So, I'm still winning. So, as of right now. But we'll see what happens. It doesn't matter who wins or who loses. I mean, I just thought that that was, it was just something that we had for fun. I was like, hey, man. You know, Nike's so beat up. And it was actually before, it was before this huge move on Nike. It was just after earnings. It was so beat up. It was right into this area. Well, here. I'll tell you the day we wrote it down. It was October 8th is when I, you know, basically issued the challenge. And there it is right there. October the 8th. So, yeah. The second or third day there, off earnings. I said, you know what? Nike probably performs well. We get that bottom. We had, what's his name? Brian Shannon on as well. Talking about, I think, Michael Noss. Everyone was looking for this, you know, big move to the bottom side. And then, you know, Joe stepped up, took it. And was like, I'm taking Walmart. Smart for him. Because, you know, if Nike was going to work, so was Walmart. So, that's what I'm saying. Hats off to that call. Really. So, you know, whoever wins, wins. But if you're in, I'm in Nike from a long time ago. But if you're in and you got in there, either Walmart or Nike, you win. So, it's you guys that are winning. We're just trying to create content on the show, of course. And like I said, maybe in the month of November, we could do something similar on Monday, maybe. We can all sort of take a look and say, hey, from November 1st, maybe all four of us will do it. We can, and you dare include it, all five of us, get to see it, all six of us. We can all just make a play on Monday and say, okay, for the month of November, what are we thinking? And you could pick an earnings name. You could pick one that's already happened. Whatever you want.
[02:42:55] Prince Hakeem: I think forcing an earnings name that was down after earnings, sorry about that, would be a little bit more fun.
[02:43:05] Speaker 4: I like any name, though. Like, open book, man. You want to take Bitcoin. What do you want to take? Like, whatever you think for the month. But, yeah, to your point, we could tailor it.
[02:43:16] Prince Hakeem: I was just trying to finish it. I thought you were talking about something.
[02:43:17] Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, but I thought you were talking about something. Okay, so as me and Neil were having a discussion, Neil still does. Oh, here, you know what, Neil? I'm like, do I finish my bite? Nah, LeSean's talking about it. You know what you should do, man? Just enjoy your food salad.
[02:43:28] Prince Hakeem: Well, I always do. I just think the most common question that always happens is something gets beaten the you-know-what up after earnings, and everyone wants to know, like, what would you buy? What would you not buy? Right, right. Well, I think the thing- I said, I want to take Google. But the thing that scares me the most is every single person, like, everybody bought Google yesterday.
[02:43:50] Speaker 4: Every single person.
[02:43:51] Prince Hakeem: Like, I got filled on the alphabet yesterday.
[02:43:54] Speaker 4: You were the only one that we didn't know, but you had that stick.
[02:43:56] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, but I'd been bidding in front of 280 for, like, months now. I bought it live on the show. Months I've had that bid out there. I always leave stink bids out for at least a quarter. If I'm like, this is the level I like, minimum, it's out there for three months. And I'm like, if it gets down at that price, I'm taking it this queue. But, um...
[02:44:13] Speaker 4: Yeah, basically, Joe, I...
[02:44:15] Prince Hakeem: It's usually not a good sign. This would always happen. If... When we used to own our own trading floor, if there was one thing that was guaranteed, if I ever looked in our risk on the floor, and say we had, like, a dozen traders, if more than four of that dozen traders were in the same position, like, say, like, four of them long BAC, and it's, like, 10 o'clock, almost always lost. If you... And that's the thing. Like, it's just... If there's that much agreement in the short term by traders, typically, it meant that that was, like, a bad short-term bet. Yeah, you got to... So, I've always... I'm always wary of that in the back of my mind. You look, ah, usually that's not a good sign.
[02:44:55] Speaker 4: He's bought it the worst. He got it at 90. He bought it, like, in the pre-market thinking it was down. But I don't think he's... I don't think it's going to matter, I think, when you're going to look back, just see...
[02:45:02] Prince Hakeem: But this is one of those...
[02:45:04] Speaker 4: To what you just said. Put some money to work to hold forever. Yeah, just get long.
[02:45:07] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, you feel better about... I feel better about that than Intel, I'll tell you that much.
[02:45:10] Speaker 4: I mean, I might choose SNDK, you know, if we're trying to choose a stock. I mean, let's check out what SNDK is doing here right now. 12.04, like, down 10%. You know, you want to have names that are in the right space at the right time. I think SNDK is that name. And, you know, I don't know if it's the right one in this space, per se. I actually like Micron a little bit better, so I think if I could choose one, I would actually, now that I think about it, I would choose Micron. But, yeah, SNDK, Micron, all interesting names to look at after a beat-up earnings report. And you hit on a couple... Hynex is not bad. Yeah, SK Hynex down to 148. It's the cheapest. Something like that. There, you know, a name that you brought to our attention again here this morning was a little bit of talk here on Caterpillar. And, you know, that's another name with a GE Vernova type play there that you could easily have a couple looks at too, right? So, G. Vernova, you know, interesting. Caterpillar, interesting on some of these downside plays.
[02:46:01] Prince Hakeem: Well, also, like, there's this whole Lumentum Marvell thing, which still has to play out.
[02:46:08] Speaker 4: That's another huge story.
[02:46:09] Prince Hakeem: I find that interesting because if that deal doesn't happen, I think that could be spicy.
[02:46:14] Speaker 4: Yeah, agreed on that.
[02:46:14] Prince Hakeem: If they don't announce a combination next week, Marvell is going to fly. Like, every day that Marvell doesn't announce a combination, I think the market's going to like it more. Combination. That's the way I look at it. So, if the market's going to go, we tried our first non-planned trade, like just technical setup trade, and it was Nike. Breaking the low, breaking that wedge. But if it breaks the trend line, you have to be able to jump out. I don't want to reverse long in this because if the market's recovering, I think this should head to the downside. So, I'm going to stick with that theory that if the queues are up and trying to fly, I want to be looking for a fade in Nike and not the other direction. So far, we can hold on to it because that, for some reason, doesn't want to catch a bid. I don't know why the market bounces and this stock doesn't bounce. It was strong at the open, relative strength, right? Market has bounced back, both the ES and the NASDAQ, and this one's sort of hanging around a little. So, for now, that looks like it's going to be good. Google's got some life. Apple's got some life. I think Apple's again proving. The market's not green. Apple just went green. You guys can see that. The market's not going green today. But Apple just went green for a brief little section. Oh, Neil. What? Okay, the NASDAQ's not going green.
[02:47:33] Speaker 4: Oh, Neil, Neil. Oh.
[02:47:35] Prince Hakeem: No, I know. I say the market when I'm talking about the NASDAQ. That's my bad.
[02:47:39] Speaker 4: Bold call, man. I mean, I... No, the ES... What percent would you put on the NASDAQ going green today? I'm going to give it 20. One in eight.
[02:47:47] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, okay. So, close enough. 12%. Close enough, okay. The ES is a better... I mean, the ES is only down only .2. The ES is only one and a half. The ES getting green, I think that would be... I'd put that at, like, one in four. But the NASDAQ...
[02:47:58] Speaker 4: We've got to put some respect on this name over here. Shout out to Elon Musk and company, man. What is Tesla doing? That's what I'm saying. Just straight up to the upside there. Tesla straight up to the upside. Good call on Apple over there as well. I mean, a lot of these names are retracing quite nicely back there to the upside. We did cash out of the majority of our NVIDIA, of course, when we popped through. Now we're just, you know, having some fun over here and waiting out for it. And we're also going to discuss right now, because Joel's asked me about four times today, what exactly is for lunch? I disappointed on the... I feel really bad about that stew, because I literally put it aside as soon as we made it. But anyways, today's the U.S. flag. I said to Joel it was going to be really interesting, and he got all excited because the U.S. flag can mean fried chicken. It can also mean burgers. I think the U.S. flag has meant other things as well. Yeah, so Joel's already getting on to it right now. Yeah, Joel, today, I mean, it is going to be something that is related to this little gif. So it is not your burgers, but it's kind of close. This says buttermilk fried chicken burger. So I just hope it's pieces of chicken. Like, I don't want it to be that processed chicken, you know, when you have the chicken burgers.
[02:49:04] Prince Hakeem: Don't say that.
[02:49:05] Speaker 4: Those kind of chicken burgers. I'm not hoping for that. I'm hoping for a nice, like, little fried up thigh or something like that. Like, you know, how Popeye's does it, something like that. Fried chicken burger with pickles and ranch. I think that should be okay.
[02:49:16] Prince Hakeem: Eat one of these.
[02:49:17] Speaker 4: Macaroni. There you go. You get the macaroni and salad. But it's macaroni and salad, not macaroni and cheese. So macaroni and salad. And then potato wedges. So today with coleslaw, actually, on the side there. So, yeah, it is a good lunch today, I feel like. That's a typical lunch. Chicken sandwich. We'll see how it tastes. I think they've done it pretty well in the past. The funny thing is, I'm not here this afternoon. So it's going to be Joe taking over. The last afternoon I took off, I remember this clearly. We had tickets to go to TIFF. So we went to TIFF. So it was back in September. We took a Friday off. And it was chicken sandwiches that day. Yes. So every day there, I'm not here. Chicken sandwiches. But we'll try it. I'm going to be here for a minute before I got to add. Oh, it's going to be tasty. It'll be very good.
[02:49:58] Prince Hakeem: It'll taste a heck of a lot better than the taste in all of our mouths looking at our personal accounts today. Good call. And I'm being real. Which I'm not opening up yet. Well, you shouldn't. I'm not looking. On days like today. I may not. If I pull up my personal account, it's to buy something. Otherwise, I'm not looking. If I'm not buying something, I'm not looking because it would just change the way you think of things. Let's go up to Adara. Oh, check that. Let's go up to the former Fed share.
[02:50:33] Speaker 1: Good afternoon. Let's take a look here at the U.S. dollar because right now, really trying to, I mean, we've been kind of on and off, right? You've got this six-day sell-off here, followed by a three-day green streak, two-day red streak. Now, we've got this wild candle today, dropping almost to the low, like these recent lows of 101.4, then bouncing nicely here. So, keep an eye on U.S. dollar because right now, lots of volatility, lower highs being made as well in the daily chart. So, in order to push higher, we'd have to break above that 102 half level and 103 level. It's been a very busy week for the U.S. dollar, just for the economy in general. I mean, you had the FOMC meeting with current Fed chair Kevin Warsh coming through here on Wednesday. He actually made a lot of announcements, guys. They're going to be changing the structure of how they do these Fed meetings. They'll still have eight meetings a year, but less and less of these meetings over the next couple of years will actually involve a right vote. So, some of them will just be strategy meetings, which is an interesting look here. I want to, if my computer will work, there we go. I want to take a look as well here at the CME FedWatch tool because we had some data coming in yesterday. PCE, in line with estimates. GDP, hotter than estimates, which was nice. 72.1% chance that we will get a 25 basis point hike, though, in the December 9th meeting. So, stay tuned for that. 28% chance here that we'll have rates held in place. If you look forward here at the probabilities, right now we're only seeing two rate hikes going forward. One in December, as mentioned, and the other one in March. So, let's see if this two rate hike cycle kind of stays in focus here. We will have to stay posted and, you know, figure out what happens here with the U.S. dollar as we get more economic data. But, for the meantime, Fed Sheriff Powell out. We'll send you back to the guys.
[02:52:12] Prince Hakeem: Thank you very much there.
[02:52:14] Speaker 5: Thank you very much, Derek.
[02:52:17] Prince Hakeem: Perfect. It is 50-50 on our poll. For what? For the, are we buying the dips on a free fall Friday? How many votes? 86. Keep hitting it now. First of all, 170 votes? Vote again. Keep going. How are there only 170 votes? That's what I'm saying. Let's get some more. Just make, just vote one way or the other. Get some more data points. It's not about whether you have bought something in your personal account or whether you tried to go along as a trade. It's just, let's get a feel for it. Are you on the side of dip buying or letting it fall today? So, just throw your votes in there. It's a one for buy. It's a two for let it fall. It's always simple because we'll always put the positive one, one, because it shows up as green. So, let us know what you think. I could have put, like, is it a trick or treat today? Obviously, that would have made a heck of a lot more sense. That's hindsight. Hindsight is 20-20. That's on me. If someone smarter made the poll, they would have done it Halloween-themed. But let's get some, just get your thoughts. It's my bad. I suggested it and we should have... No, but I didn't think of making it Halloween-themed, which is very low-hanging fruit. I could have just called today trick or treat. And that would have been very, very simple. And you could have put, like, in commons, like, green, red. But today's been a treat for many reasons. Yes. The trades have worked out well. I've already had three candies. Thank you very much, Jessica.
[02:53:26] Speaker 4: You had three of them? I only had two of them. What the hell?
[02:53:29] Prince Hakeem: Exactly. She came by with the... There was an entire basket. You chose to take one candy. Oh, you took two when she came by. Nobody said you only have to take one. I thought she snuck behind again. It's not actual trick or treating. There's no, like, oh, you're only supposed to take one. I see Obi.
[02:53:44] Speaker 4: I see Obi in the background. There's an Obi. People are like, where's Obi? This is like, where's Waldo over here? Obi, where's the mic? Get this mic, Obi. I want to talk to you. She just trolled me. Are you on? Where's she read? Obi's on? Oh, Obi's going to be on the midday today. Oh, Sharif. Okay, then don't worry. No, Obi, you stay there. Obi's going to be on.
[02:54:07] Speaker 1: Obi always does Amazon earnings. It's almost like clockwork.
[02:54:09] Speaker 4: There he is. Okay, good. So there we go. So people were wondering if Obi... How come you didn't dress up? You're okay. The Nintendo's a good one. I'm a controller. I'm a controller. Okay, Obi, sit down, Obi. Get ready, okay? Just get ready, all right? I didn't know he was on today. Over there. No, I don't think he was on. I don't think he was scheduled on today. Joe, was Obi scheduled today? No. I always have to ask Joe because he gives me and you shit all the time. Like, oh, you know, got a cover for us. I don't see it in the calendar. Exactly. Exactly. Joe is the calendar. So that's why I had to confer with him. You know? It's like, I came in on Monday and I wasn't supposed to be here because I thought I was going to go to the Packers game. And of course, the hockey just overlapped and we didn't go. So I was like, if I'm going to get home at 1 or 2 a.m. You know, with kid and wife. It was in the calendar. So I show up there. Joe gives me like a death stare. Like, yo, bro, you're in the calendar for not showing up. And I was just like, okay, okay. But we still stayed here anyways. So we want to say shout out to Obi. Thanks for him filling in last minute there. He messaged me at like 9-something.
[02:55:09] Speaker 2: I'm like, wow.
[02:55:10] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, yeah. Doctors. Obi found out at 9. That's good on you, Obi, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[02:55:15] Speaker 4: I heard them whispering about it earlier. Look, let's not say good on Obi. Obi wants to take a hate.
[02:55:18] Prince Hakeem: Oh, yes.
[02:55:20] Speaker 4: No, he's got the hat on. Get it, Adara. That's okay. Maybe he started with the hat. But the hat's going to be.
[02:55:24] Speaker 1: Well, thank you for, Obi, for getting way better. Because I spent an hour looking yesterday. I literally, if you guys know Toronto, you'll know how far I walk. I walk from Bay and Wellesley to College and Young to Spadina and King all the way back up to college. Like, I looked for crazy high and low, searched like four places. Oh, I could have.
[02:55:39] Speaker 4: You should have a message. I have a hat. I have a, yeah, I could have helped you out. We have one at home. I don't know if I would have picked. Either way.
[02:55:45] Prince Hakeem: Aaron has one.
[02:55:46] Speaker 4: I think there's one just right there. It's actually on Randy's desk, to be completely honest with you. But anyways, good effort, Adara, putting in the work there. Randy is a hard hat. Let's be perfectly honest, man. Obi wants to get paid. To do what? Thank you, Obi, for coming out there, as we all do. But yeah, good on Obi-Wan to say thank you for him coming through. Look at Chow right here. Chow to the upside, right? Nice move there. This is a name that we haven't talked about at all today. You know, halt, halt, boom. Yeah, look, I'm really excited. I'm so glad because I think I even mentioned this to Obi a couple of days ago. Like, people are asking, where's Obi at? So we're really glad to have him come through on a Friday, and especially a day where there's turmoil in the market. And let me guess, there may be some retracements and some back-end talk and trading like that happening right over there. Some reversions possibly happening.
[02:56:31] Prince Hakeem: On that Chow, which it's a Hong Kong ADR, 39% short float on a float of 1.1 million shares. So not only is it a tiny float, it's also 39% short. That's what usually you're used to these, you know, the ones that only have a mil or less on the float. You're not really used to them having a gigantic short float. It's kind of like one or the other. Oh, it's a low float name. Maybe those eggs didn't sit well with Sharif. So that could be a good one there. But habitual line stepper, obviously that stock. That's how it is. But Dave Stanley says BE is on sale. Everything's on sale today. Oh, BE?
[02:57:12] Speaker 4: That's actually... Bloom's on sale.
[02:57:14] Prince Hakeem: I don't mind picking up some Bloom. I don't have any Bloom. 206? Where is it at? 206? Not horrible. That's a good bounce. It was at 190 last week. Yeah, it bottomed out at $190. You know what? It's not horrible. That's not a bad sign. I'm in Constellation.
[02:57:29] Speaker 4: You're in Jeeva Nova.
[02:57:30] Prince Hakeem: I just don't want... If I already own something adjacent to a space in AI, I don't want to double down. Like, I just feel like you pick your horse and just stick with that until proven otherwise. Like, if I was... But that's not bad. I think it's a pretty solid sign on a day like today that a stock like Bloom didn't retest the low. You know, because if there's that much bad sentiment, it not retesting that low from last week on volume. Like, the volume bottom on Friday, like, that's holding up. So, like, good sign for Bloom. I don't mind that at all. Like, technically, that's a pretty good solid space to be. I can't wait for this chicken.
[02:58:06] Speaker 4: I'm excited to go grab some chicken as well. All right, you guys are going to be in for a treat because you've got Joe and Obi. And no, it's not the flying cars. It's Joby? It's Joby. It's Joby. It's Joby. We can talk about some Joby later on today. But we're really happy... How long, Joby? I'm really happy to have... I mean, I'm glad to see Obi back in the seat. That is for sure. And I know a lot of you are excited, too. So, just get a different perspective and always entertaining as well. So, it's Joe and Obi. All right, good one. Hot dog, Lizzie. Good costume there today. We really appreciate that. What is Sia showing up? Yeah, okay. All right. Sia just wearing a thing that says chili. You're just a hot dog. Yeah, exactly, exactly. I am just a hot dog.
[02:58:42] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, but he actually committed to it anyways.
[02:58:45] Speaker 4: Neil and I are just...
[02:58:47] Prince Hakeem: There's a level of commitment when you just want to have fun and not take yourself to this. I mean, Adara, you win. I mean, this is just a hot dog. No, but let's be real. Adara crushed it with it.
[02:58:56] Speaker 4: Adara, I mean, got the wig, got the...
[02:58:57] Prince Hakeem: Once you put the hard hat on...
[02:58:58] Speaker 4: Matching glasses. Game over. I mean, and he's wearing gray with the purple. Yeah.
[02:59:04] Speaker 1: All I need to do is go to a Grateful Dead concert. Those who know will know because, I mean, deep J-Pow lower here. But, yeah, shout out to Jerome Powell, a man who I genuinely find entertaining. And you are missed as the chair of the Fed Reserve. Since May 15th, it hasn't been the same, bro.
[02:59:19] Prince Hakeem: There it is. And I don't know if we have to pay you to make sure you do the interview with that on, but... Oh, we have an interview coming up. I think she's going to... Interview this afternoon.
[02:59:28] Speaker 4: May take it off. Yeah, keep the hard hat on, of course.
[02:59:30] Prince Hakeem: Yeah, maybe you can get away with it. But we're going to get away with some chicken. We'll throw you over to the Joby Show for the midday. Ciao. Good luck, everybody. Not ready yet? Ready. Ready.
