[4:28] The size is very, it's almost, I guess it's over 2,000 feet, 2,400 feet long. [4:36] That's taller than any building in the world if you lay it on its side. [4:41] And very big. [4:43] The surface was bad. [4:45] The leaking was bad. [4:46] These workers are the most fantastic people. [4:48] You know, Doug Burgum, he's in charge of it. [4:51] He's the head of interior and done a great job. [4:54] And I was getting complaints from people saying that it wasn't good. [4:58] This is a number of months ago. [4:59] And I called Doug and he agreed. [5:02] They spent a fortune. [5:04] President Obama spent $38 million, closed it for two and a half years. [5:09] It was a construction nightmare, construction mess. [5:13] When they opened it, it didn't work. [5:15] And it leaked. [5:16] It was a disaster. [5:17] But I knew how to build. [5:20] And we worked with Doug and interior and parks. [5:24] And these guys have been fantastic. [5:26] So we're putting a beautiful surface on. [5:29] It's called the coloring. [5:30] It's like a swimming pool, but industrial strength. [5:33] Much stronger. [5:34] And I think you're going to see something that's amazing. [5:38] Very interesting is we took all of the, they took 12 garbage trucks full of garbage that was under the water that people didn't see. [5:48] But they knew it was there. [5:50] It was a real mess. [5:51] And you're going to have basically industrial strength. [5:54] It's going to last, I would say, 50 years. [5:57] It'll last, it's going to last a long time. [5:59] And you'll have no leak, guaranteed no leak. [6:02] And it's going to be something very special. [6:05] And it's going to be a beautiful color. [6:07] The problem, the color was never good because basically it had a gray stone underneath. [6:12] Whether it was the concrete or the granite, it was a gray stone. [6:15] And now we actually picked the color. [6:17] It was called American flag blue. [6:20] And so you can't do better than that. [6:22] And so we had estimates to fix it of about $355 million. [6:30] And it was going to take three and a half years. [6:33] You can see by the size of it. [6:36] And so we're going to be able to do it for about $1.8 million, $1.8 million. [6:40] And it's going to take one week. [6:42] And we'll be finished, I guess. [6:44] I'm going to give them a little more time. [6:46] Let's give it two weeks. [6:47] But a lot of the hard work is done. [6:50] The beautiful work is now. [6:52] The application is really the fun. [6:54] And the sidewalk surfaces. [7:44] Also, I guess you want to talk about, [7:46] what you're most proud of is underneath the Lincoln Memorial. [7:50] Do you want to discuss that? [7:52] Underneath the Lincoln Memorial, [7:54] it's built on essentially arches or stilts like a cathedral. [7:58] So there's an undercroft 80 feet high [8:00] that's only been filled with junk and graffiti [8:03] from back when it was built in 1922. [8:05] This summer, there's been a long vision. [8:07] But with President Trump's leadership and support of donors, [8:10] they're opening an undercroft museum, [8:13] which will tell a great story, [8:15] hold great documents coming as part of the 250th anniversary. [8:19] So 15,000 of the 50,000, [8:21] there's a 50,000 foot cavern underneath the Lincoln. [8:24] 15,000 will be opening as a new museum on June 23rd of this year [8:28] as part of Freedom 250. [8:30] And again, we've never had a president like President Trump, [8:33] who's cared more, invested more, or put more time and attention [8:36] into everything about them all. [8:38] When he drives around, if he sees something, he calls us. [8:41] We call the amazing National Park Service. [8:43] They're on it. [8:44] They fix it up. [8:45] That's why we're fixing over 19 fountains around the city. [8:48] That's why we've eliminated over 1,000 graffiti sites [8:51] under President Trump's leadership. [8:53] We've taken care of 82 homeless camps [8:55] that were in the city when he was elected, [8:57] making D.C. safe and beautiful. [8:59] Crime is down. [9:00] Beauty is up. [9:58] We're going to have it down. [9:59] And I think we'll get it above 92 percent down. [10:02] We took 5,000 career criminals, people that were really, [10:07] really bad. [10:08] They came through the open border. [10:10] I'm sure you guys love open borders. [10:11] I don't think so. [10:12] But they came through on the open borders. [10:14] They came out of prisons and mental institutions. [10:17] And they came all over the place. [10:19] And it is horrible what happened. [10:21] And they allowed this to happen to our country. [10:35] But we got many of them out. [10:37] And the crime rate is, as you know, the murder rate in the country is down to the lowest it's ever. [10:43] It's down to, in 1900, 125 years, lowest in recorded history. [10:48] And that's good. [10:50] So we're very happy about that. [10:52] And that goes hand in hand with fixing things up. [10:54] So, as Doug said, I heard 19 or a lot of founders, about 19, maybe more than that. [11:00] And Lafayette Park is beautiful. [11:02] I made that contribution. [11:03] It's a pretty significant contribution. [11:05] And Lafayette Park is being rebuilt. [11:09] We have tremendous amounts of things going on around Lincoln. [11:13] I think, to me, the most exciting of all is going to be the triumphal arc. [11:17] We're going to build one of the most beautiful arcs in the world. [11:20] If you look at Paris, in Paris, they have the Arc to Triumph. [11:25] It's their number one tourist attraction, even more so than the Eiffel Tower. [11:30] And we're going to have one that's more grand, even more grand. [11:33] Because that's one of the — I would say that's the best right now. [11:36] There are 59 triumphal arcs throughout the world. [11:40] And this will be number 60. [11:42] And many of them are very old. [11:44] Some are 600, 700 years old. [11:47] And they represented triumph. [11:50] They're usually a victory, a military victory. [11:53] But we are going to have one that's going to be, I think, superior to anybody else's. because that's for many [28:55] other projects that's for projects having to do with safety in this in a certain section of the [29:01] white house grounds that's not all for the ballroom and we're putting up 400 million dollars to do the [29:07] ballroom section of the ballroom we are putting that up privately i am doing it along with other [29:13] patriots that love our country but they want to do certain things militarily with respect to the ballroom [29:21] having nothing to do with us or having to do with the safety of the president so having to do with a lot [29:26] of things but we are going to have a safe ballroom it's under construction it's ahead of schedule [29:33] it's right on budget it would be three to four hundred million that we're putting up [29:37] and a lot of that money will be going to safety also but they're the house approved or the senate [29:44] approved i guess or they're going to looking at approving i don't know if we got approved yet [29:49] but they're talking about putting up a certain amount of money having to do with security at the [29:53] white house and the east wing yeah will you commit to publicly release the amount of money that the [29:59] private donors well i have no problem with it you're not supposed to because it's done under a [30:04] way where you don't have to do that but i have no problem they're unbelievable people these are great [30:10] patriots they're putting up you know it's the only place in the world you can give a 400 million dollar [30:16] ballroom you put up the money and they're unhappy with it they think the taxpayers should pay for it [30:22] so this will be the most beautiful ballroom anywhere in the world and it'll be the safest ballroom by far [30:28] anywhere in the world and you won't have
