[0:00] 25,000 kilograms of cocaine seized and thanks to our Department of Justice partners who had
[0:04] 2,100 indictments in three months from June to September alone. Mr. President, that in and of
[0:12] itself would be historic for a four-year presidency. You did that in seven months because you let good
[0:17] cops be cops and you partnered us with the right people, the Department of Justice, to put the
[0:21] handcuffs on and bring them to court and put them in prison. And if that weren't enough, when you
[0:26] look at the year for the entire seven-month period that we're talking about here, if you look at the
[0:30] past four years of the Biden administration, 16,000, 17,000, 15,000, 15,000, that's the number
[0:37] of arrests year over year of violent felons in this country for the Biden administration. Mr. President,
[0:43] in seven months, you have 28,600 arrests of violent feminists in just seven months alone because of
[0:51] your leadership and the dedication of the men and women at the FBI who want to go out there and do
[0:55] the job. They were prevented from doing because that department used to be weaponized and politicized.
[1:00] And this is what happens when you take out the fangs of weaponization. This number is historic by every
[1:05] metric. 28,000 people have been arrested, violent felons alone. And then when you go over there and look
[1:11] at some of these charts, if you don't mind, I'll just hop over here. Look at the metrics for not just
[1:18] by the crime, but the homeland. Mr. President, during your administration, the FBI has found and located
[1:25] 5,400 children. That is a 30% increase year to date over the last administration. Violent crime
[1:33] against children arrests alone are up 10%. Gang arrests are up 210% in the last seven months alone.
[1:41] And transnational organized crime, which Stephen Miller has been a great partner in,
[1:45] is up over 12% alone. These numbers are historic just as a snapshot. But just so people don't think
[1:52] we're focusing on violent crime alone. The national security mission, Mr. President,
[1:56] your leadership has never been stronger. We have gone after espionage activities against our main
[2:01] counterparts in China, Russia, and Iran. In China alone, we've had over a 50% increase in espionage
[2:08] arrests alone in prosecution. In Iran, we have had a 50% increase, again, in espionage cases. And in Russia,
[2:17] we've had a 33% increase in espionage cases alone. When it comes to counterterrorism, year to date,
[2:24] we have 125 arrests this year versus 100 last year, year to date alone. And when it comes to the
[2:30] cybercriminal activities, which are some of the largest enterprises plaguing everyday Americans,
[2:34] we at the FBI have put out a mission to go after cybercriminals like never before. Last year,
[2:40] they have, in total, 191. This year, you already have 252 arrests, 52 arrests of violent cybercriminals
[2:49] who are stealing from senior citizens, who are violating our children's rights and freedoms,
[2:53] and who are violating everyday Americans. These programs are a record. And some of the two of the
[2:59] things I'll finish with that I'm most proud of, Mr. President, this FBI, fentanyl. As you know,
[3:03] it's a scourge that's killing our youth, 100,000 plus a year. To date, the FBI has seized 1900 kilograms
[3:10] of fentanyl. That's enough lethal doses to kill 127 million Americans alone, to date. And if that
[3:17] weren't enough, Mr. President, you said, we have to go after the worst of the worst. And you empowered
[3:23] our Department of Justice, our Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General, and the Deputy Director
[3:27] of the FBI led the charge, not just on summer heat, but he also led the charge to the FBI's 10 most
[3:33] wanted fugitive. These people have been on the run for years. And in seven months, you captured
[3:38] not one, not two, not three, but four of the FBI's most top 10 fugitives. Four. And just
[3:44] to put that in perspective, Mr. President, the Biden administration captured four in all four
[3:48] years. You're on seven, and we're going to get to 10. We're going to get to 10 of 10.
[3:52] This includes a lady who murdered her six-year-old handicapped child in Pleasant India. We got her
[3:56] in two months. This includes a narco trafficker. This includes a sex trafficker. This includes
[4:01] another cursory murder and gangbang. These people were on the run because of the prior
[4:06] administration's reckless policies that destroyed our communities. And you came in and the mandate
[4:11] said, go after the worst of the worst. This is just the beginning. This is what happens
[4:15] when you let big cops be good cops at the FBI. Mr. President, I just want to thank you for
[4:19] your incredible leadership, our brave partnership with prosecutors who know how to bring cases
[4:25] and make sure these arrests stick. And that's what the Attorney General and the Deputy Attorney
[4:29] General have led the charge across this country. Because arrests without prosecutions are meaningless.
[4:33] We are deterring criminals from doing this activity. We are preventing criminals from coming
[4:38] into America. And we are absolutely crushing violent crime at the level of reform and defending
[4:43] this homeland, sir. And not to mention, I almost forgot this one. It took you, sir, two weeks
[4:48] to get the aggregate bomber. Joe Biden had four years to look for him. He got him in two weeks.
[4:55] The FBI and the CIA went to Pakistan and found 13 brave warriors who were sent to see murder
[4:59] because of the disaster that the Afghanistan had thrown. They have justice. Their families
[5:02] have the peace of mind. And we're going to continue to find the others, Mr. President.
[5:05] On behalf of the FBI, sir, I just want to thank you.
[5:07] President Trump, the men and women of law enforcement say two things to me repeatedly.
[5:18] First, you have taken the handcuffs off them and let them do their jobs. And you let cops
[5:25] be cops. That's why all this is happening. The director, the deputy director, are working
[5:31] around the clock. All of these great men and women in the FBI, they have, think about, they
[5:36] have families at home. And they are working during a government shutdown right now. Many
[5:41] of them have small children. Many of them, I was talking to an agent this morning, many of
[5:46] them have babies at home. And they are working around the clock to not only keep our country,
[5:52] but our world safe. And that's what Operation Summer Heat did. Thank you, director and to
[5:58] the deputy director for everything you did on behalf of the Department of Justice. And you're
[6:02] going to continue to keep doing. And they set the stage for what we're doing in Memphis.
[6:08] You're going to hear a lot more about that, our joint task force next week. But they set
[6:13] the stage for Memphis. And last night alone in Memphis, there were almost 70 arrests. There
[6:18] were 12 guns seized. And there was a 70-year-old man arrested as a result of our operation in
[6:24] Memphis who raped a child under the age of three. That one case makes everything we're doing worthwhile.
[6:31] So thank you all for being here on behalf of both of us. Thank you, President Trump.
[6:36] Thank you. Todd, do you want to say something?
[6:38] Sure. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. President. So this is a great day. And I think there's
[6:42] stats that the director talked about which are important. But I want to give two examples
[6:47] of what Summer Heat has done that actually will apply hopefully to everybody in this room. The
[6:53] first is for over four years, during the last administration, there was a hotel in a town,
[7:00] the middle of a town in Alaska, that was being run as a drug den. There were over 1,000 calls
[7:07] to 911 over four, four and a half year period. There were multiple violent crimes, drug dealers,
[7:16] overdoses and murders at this one hotel, ruining a community. Summer Heat went in there. It's not
[7:23] only arrested all the participants that were controlling the hotel, but seized the hotel. And
[7:28] so that's one example of what Summer Heat means to everyday Americans that just want to live in peace.
[7:33] The second example is a large narcotics trafficking group that was selling fentanyl in the state of
[7:39] Washington. They were shipping fentanyl using commercial aircraft, putting fentanyl pills and
[7:46] powder in suitcases, flying them from the southwest border, mostly Arizona, all the way to
[7:52] Washington. It had been going on for an extremely long time. And the entire organization was
[7:57] arrested. And I say those two examples because it's easy to look at the board and see 1,000 arrests.
[8:03] How much different is our communities now compared to the past four years? But there's actual life
[8:09] examples. Every one of these arrests means that our streets are safer. And that's because of the work of
[8:15] this administration, of President Trump and Director Patel. So I will tell you, Attorney General
[8:20] Bondi and I are together every day with Director Patel, figuring out ways that we can continue to do
[8:25] this work. And it's not going to stop like the Attorney General said and like the President said. This is
[8:31] just the beginning or phase one or a start, whatever you want to say. But it will continue on. So thank you,
[8:37] Mr. President, and thank you very much. Director Patel.
[8:39] Director Patel, and Mr. President, just one last thank you from the men and
[8:41] women at the FBI. You found a way to get these individuals paid during a
[8:45] government shutdown, our 1811 agents. So on behalf of the FBI, it's a great debt that we owe you, sir.
[8:51] They're now allowed to pay for their families. So thank you.
[8:53] And the military. Good?
[8:54] That's right.
[8:55] Thank you. Okay. Thank you very much. Any questions, please?
[9:00] Brian, go ahead.
[9:01] First of all, I know the feedback I'm getting from the American people, but they want to say thank you.
[9:06] Law and order is not an option in this country. It's a mandate. So I know the American people,
[9:10] thank you for that. In terms of the guns that have been taken off the street, do you have a number
[9:15] of how many guns were taken away from someone that had a prior felony or a previous crime that
[9:21] perhaps we can prosecute that? Because I know that wasn't the case of a Joe Biden.
[9:25] We don't take guns off the streets of people that are allowed to have guns. So every gun that we're
[9:30] taking off the street is because it belongs to somebody who is not allowed to have it. Could be a felon.
[9:34] Could be somebody who hears illegally. There's all sorts of conditions. But if there's a gun
[9:39] taken off the streets by the FBI, it's because the person who has it is not allowed to. It's
[9:43] not somebody who's lawfully allowed to have it. So every single one of those guns were taken
[9:47] off of people that aren't allowed to have it.
[9:49] And not including the FBI, all of the other agencies. ATF alone since January 20th has
[9:55] removed over 25,000 illegal guns off our streets just since President Trump's been in office.
[10:02] Mr. President, if I could follow up on that. Could there be any further conversation to have
[10:06] national concealed carry apply to actual D.C.? Like if you had a driver's license in Texas and you had a permit,
[10:14] of course, you could drive.
[10:15] Well, as you know, they've been talking about that for a long time. It's an interesting question.
[10:19] A lot of people feel strongly both ways. But we are talking about that, Brian. Thank you.
[10:23] Mr. President, on Venezuelans boats, I want to ask you why not have the Coast Guard stop them,
[10:30] which it is empowered by law to do. You know, this way you can confirm who's on the boat and ensure that they're doing what they would suspect.
[10:37] Because we've been doing that for 30 years and it has been totally ineffective.
[10:42] They have faster boats. Some of these boats are seriously, I mean, they're world-class speedboats.
[10:49] And but they're not faster than missiles. But we've been trying to do that for years.
[10:54] And so much of the drugs, 25, 30 percent would come in through the seas.
[10:59] Right now, we have, I would say, none coming in through the seas. In fact, I don't know about the fishing industry.
[11:04] If you want to go fishing, a lot of people aren't deciding to even go fishing.
[11:08] We've almost totally stopped it by sea. Now we'll stop it by land.
[11:13] But it never worked. It never worked when, you know, when you did it in a very politically correct manner.
[11:20] What's the next step in this war on cartels? And are you considering options, are you considering strikes on land?
[11:26] Well, I don't want to tell you exactly, but we are certainly looking at land now because we've got the sea very well under control.
[11:32] We've had a couple of days where there isn't a boat to be found.
[11:36] And that, I view that as a good thing, not a bad thing.
[11:39] But we had tremendous amounts coming in by boats, by very expensive boats.
[11:42] You know, they have a lot of money. Very fast, very expensive boats that were pretty big.
[11:47] And the way you look at it is every boat that we knock out, we save 25,000 American lives.
[11:53] So every time you see a boat and you feel badly, you say, wow, that's rough.
[11:58] It is rough. But if you lose three people and save 25,000 people, these are people that are killing our population.
[12:05] Every boat is saving 25,000 lives. And you can see it. The boats get hit.
[12:10] And you see that fentanyl all over the ocean. It's like floating in bags. It's all over the place.
[12:15] And it's a tremendous — we're saving tremendous amounts of lives.
[12:22] Yeah, please.
[12:23] Mr. President, I know you've talked about — I have a question for you, and then I also have a question for Director Patel.
[12:28] I know you talked about having some distaste for Boston recently.
[12:33] Is this one of the cities that you might be looking into?
[12:35] And can you give us a hint about other cities that you might be sending federal —
[12:38] You're saying for where? For where?
[12:39] For Boston.
[12:40] Well, Boston has a bad mayor who at least is a reasonable IQ person.
[12:46] You know, most of them are low IQ. But — and they're so bad.
[12:49] I mean, what's going on in Chicago is just — you'd think the guy would say,
[12:53] Hey, look, we have a problem, Mr. President. Could you come in and straighten it out?
[12:58] I could have that — we could have that done in a month if we had their cooperation.
[13:02] It's going to be done anyway. But we could have it done in a month.
[13:05] Yeah, Boston, she's got four areas that are, you know, wrong.
[13:09] And, you know, somebody said, Would we take — would we think about taking the World Cup away from Boston
[13:14] if they don't straighten it out?
[13:16] And the answer is yes. We have the right to do that with FIFA.
[13:19] So if we think that L.A. is going to be bad or we think —
[13:22] That applies a little bit to the Olympics, too. But we'll talk about FIFA first.
[13:25] You know, FIFA is very hot. If we think there's any reason that,
[13:30] whether it's Boston or anywhere else, that they're not doing their job,
[13:33] we're going to take that — those World Cup games and move them someplace else.
[13:37] Thank you. And then, Director Patel, there's been so many conspiracy theories swirling around
[13:42] about the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Do you have any updates for us,
[13:45] especially in light of all the online content that everyone's been talking about?
[13:48] The only thing we deal with at the FBI and the Department of Justice is facts.
[13:52] And we delivered in record speed a manhunt to capture Charlie Kirk's alleged assassination in 33 hours.
[13:57] And if you put that in perspective, to Luigi Mangione with a Boston bomber,
[14:00] they took them five days and a police officer lost their life in their manhunt.
[14:04] We are running out absolutely every single lead.
[14:06] And the best thing we can do to honor my friend Charlie Kirk's life
[14:09] is to make sure that everyone involved is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
[14:12] And that's what we're focused on — investigating the facts, not trading in conspiracy theories.
[14:16] Okay.
[14:17] Mr. President, thank you so much.
[14:19] Thank you.
[14:20] The Press.
[14:21] The Press.
[14:22] The Press.
[14:23] The Press.
[14:24] In light of China's export curbs on rare earths, do you view India as a reliable partner going forward?
[14:27] And are you planning to meet Prime Minister Modi in Malaysia?
[14:31] Are you open to talks in terms of —
[14:33] The President.
[14:34] Yeah, sure.
[14:35] He's a friend of mine.
[14:36] We have a great relationship.
[14:37] He just said that two days ago, as you know.
[14:39] We have a great relationship.
[14:40] No, we were not happy with him buying oil from Russia, because that lets Russia continue on with this ridiculous war,
[14:48] where they've lost a million and a half people.
[14:50] the way Russia has lost a million and a half people soldiers mostly this is a
[14:55] war that should have never started but it's a war that Russia should have won
[14:58] in the first week and they're going into the fourth year and I want to see it
[15:03] stop so I was not happy that India was buying oil and he assured me today that
[15:08] they will not be buying oil from Russia that's a big stop now I got to get China
[15:14] to do the same thing you know that that is relatively easy compared to what we
[15:19] just did over the last week in the Middle East Middle East was three
[15:23] thousand years and we got it done this is three years and I think we'll get it
[15:29] done I think that Putin President Putin I think is gonna I think he wants to get
[15:33] it done we'll see there's a great animosity between him and Zelensky you probably
[15:38] have noticed right and it's I think it's hurting the process yeah yeah please
[15:43] thank you curious why did you authorize the CIA to go into Venezuela and is
[15:49] there more information you can share about these strikes on the alleged well
[15:53] I can't do that but I authorized for two reasons really number one they have
[15:58] emptied their prisons into the United States of America they came in through
[16:02] the well they came in through the border they came in because we had an open
[16:08] border policy and as soon as I heard that I said a lot of these countries
[16:11] they're not the only country but they're the worst abuser and they've entered
[16:15] there they've they've allowed thousands and thousands of prisoners mental
[16:21] institution people from mental institutions insane asylums emptied out
[16:26] into the United States we're bringing them back but that's a really bad and they
[16:30] did it at a level that probably not many many countries have done it but not like
[16:34] Venezuela they were down and dirty and the other thing of drugs we have a lot of
[16:38] drugs coming in from Venezuela and a lot of the Venezuelan drugs come in
[16:42] through the sea so you get to see that but we're going to stop them by land also
[16:46] does the CIA have authority to take out Maduro oh I don't want to answer a
[16:50] question like that that's a ridiculous question for me to be given not really a
[16:54] ridiculous question but wouldn't it be a ridiculous question for me to answer but
[16:59] I think Venezuela is feeling heat but I think a lot of other countries are
[17:03] feeling heat too we're not going to let this country our country be ruined because
[17:07] other people want to drop as you say their worst they they have given us
[17:12] their worst they've loaded up our country with prisoners with with mentally ill
[17:17] people that are seriously ill criminally ill and we're not going to take it and so
[17:23] I mean it's just one of those things and I can tell you we've taken care of the
[17:28] sea there's nobody and we're watching we're watching and if we see it we'll save it
[17:32] yeah please there are Republicans and Democrats up on the Hill concerned that
[17:38] in the briefings they've gotten about those attacks they're not necessarily
[17:42] getting information about who was on them and what exactly was on those ships can
[17:45] you well but they are given information that they were loaded up with drugs and
[17:50] that's the thing that matters when they're loaded up with drugs they're fair
[17:54] game and every one of those ships were they're not ships they're their boats
[17:58] they're speed boats they're extremely fast record-setting type speed boats that
[18:03] cost a lot of money and they have a lot of money because they're drug sellers but
[18:07] they know one thing and they all have the same thing in common there's there's
[18:13] drug dust they call it drug dust they call it fentanyl dust all over the boat
[18:17] after those bombs go off and you can take a long we know we know before we know when
[18:25] they go out we know we have much information about each boat that goes out deep strong
[18:31] information yeah please
[18:33] sir you're gonna have one of your solicitor this week what is your message at this stage of the
[18:39] war for him and shy of to who is it for Zelensky yeah shy of talks for Ukraine are you
[18:46] considering other options and will you speak with no we're looking at other options we are
[18:51] president Zelensky is coming in I'm not a fan of the war I'm not a fan of the way it started it
[18:58] should have never happened it wouldn't have started if I were president the election was rigged and
[19:04] because of that we lost a lot of lives have been lost because of that we're not American lives but
[19:10] if I can save a lot of lives that's why I'm in it I want to save lives I've I've had eight wars the
[19:16] prime minister of Pakistan got up the other day said so beautifully says you saved millions of lives
[19:22] he told that to a group of people right in this office he said the president saved millions of
[19:27] lives and I think what he's referring to is the fact that that would have been with India nuclear war
[19:31] that was getting very close you know seven planes they don't talk about it but seven aircraft were
[19:37] shot in fact we have the new ambassador to India right here they're well represented you better
[19:43] represent us not them okay but Sergio is going to do a great job he's going to do a great job but
[19:49] no we'll be talking about the war with with him and we'll be talking about I mean they want they
[19:55] want to go offensive I'll make a determination on that but they would like to go offensive you know
[20:02] that and we'll have to make a determination you mean deranged Jack he's a deranged
[20:14] individual you know well they should I'm surprised it takes so long you know we're talking about
[20:19] violent crime what about the crime against a political opponent that's what we have to talk
[20:24] about too I think it was the worst weaponization of a political opponent in the history of the world let
[20:39] alone this country and I hope that everybody's you know they're involved in it I'm not I I'm the one
[20:45] that had to suffer through it and ultimately win but what they did was criminal deranged Jack Smith in
[20:53] my opinion is a criminal and I noticed his his interviewer was I think that was Weissman and I hope
[21:00] they're going to look into Weissman too Weissman's a bad guy and he had somebody in Lisa who was his
[21:06] puppet worked in the office really as the top person and I think that she should be looked at
[21:15] very strongly it there was tremendous criminal activity having to do if we don't have fair
[21:20] elections in this country we're not going to have a country and I've said it from the beginning fair
[21:24] elections and border borders and we need also fair press because if you don't have fair press it's very
[21:30] tough and we've got the strongest border of anybody nobody has a border we have a border where
[21:37] the numbers just came out again you saw zero people came in illegally now we do take people
[21:42] into our country legally but zero people but you know you're talking about a different subject you're
[21:47] talking about political crime they have committed massive political crime I hope they're looking at
[21:54] shifty shift I hope they're looking at all these people and I'm allowed to find out I'm allowed to you
[21:59] know I'm in theory the chief law enforcement officer but I have a very good talented group this is about
[22:05] something else but I hope they're looking at political crime because there's never been so much
[22:09] political crime against a political opponent as what I had to go through they raided my house in
[22:16] Florida it was an illegal raid I have a lawsuit that was doing very well and when I became president I
[22:22] said I'm sort of suing myself I don't know what he has settled the lawsuit I'll say give me x dollars
[22:28] right and I don't know what to do with the lawsuit it's a great lawsuit and now I won it sort of looks
[22:33] bad I'm suing myself right so I don't know but but that was a lawsuit that was a very strong very
[22:39] powerful they raided illegally my house in Florida Mar-a-Lago they went through the drawers of my young
[22:46] son they went through all of the cabinets and drawers of the first lady she walked in she said wow what
[22:53] happened because she's very meticulous and this wasn't so meticulous as she looked into the drawers and
[23:00] she saw everything a mess it's it's uh just what they did against the person that just got out of
[23:06] office and then you look at these corrupt people you look at Hunter Biden you look at the signature
[23:11] as an example the auto pen I just signed so many different things an admiral a four-star general that
[23:18] I'm signing them left and right the commissions and by the way I want to compliment John Thune
[23:22] and also Mike our great speaker but John Thune all of a sudden I'm getting these things by the hundreds
[23:29] I was getting one every two weeks it would have been four years before you got them in more you
[23:34] would have had some that didn't even get in all because of Democrat obstruction so John Thune did
[23:40] a great job I signed I must have signed 200 into the administration we're just about caught up it's
[23:46] amazing and so compliments to John he had to do some things that were very tough to do that
[23:51] he didn't want to do but he was forced to do it by the Democrats and as far as the shutdown is
[23:56] concerned this is a Democrat Schumer shutdown and he's trying to do it to get relevance back into
[24:02] the party because he's a loser I've known him all his life he's always been sort of a loser but an
[24:07] intelligent one but I think he's losing IQ points with time I think that happens I hope it hasn't
[24:12] happened with me I know if it did you guys will let me know about it very quickly
[24:17] yeah it's incredible in no jail time that's justice Janine Pirro is doing a fantastic job and she is
[24:33] beside herself because you have these radical left judges that they beat the hell out of this guy and
[24:39] it was many people against this one guy who was really trying to protect his girlfriend he didn't
[24:45] when he's hooded over the door because but they really beat him up badly that just happened right
[24:51] wow that's terrible I think the judge should be ashamed of himself that's a big problem you know
[24:59] they can do their job and then they go into a court and the people are protected by these I don't know
[25:04] where they come from where do these people come from where did the judges come from I want to
[25:08] compliment on behalf of Pam and Todd and all of us because cash I think that Janine has done a fantastic job
[25:15] and the case I heard was like flawless it's a flawless case they have them on tape they have
[25:20] everything and then a judge gives them a little probation it's very these are these are rough guys
[25:25] and they're young and if that happens they're going to grow up they're going to be real bad
[25:31] they're going to cause they're going to cause a lot of problems yeah please go ahead
[25:35] what were the conversations like with Prime Minister Modi and the other I think they were great
[25:43] he reported to me that you're great he's a great man you know Modi is a great man that he he loves
[25:52] Trump now I don't know if the word love I don't want you to take that any different I don't want
[25:57] to destroy his political career okay but you have to understand I've watched India for years it's an
[26:02] incredible country and every single year you'd have a new leader I mean some would be in there for a
[26:07] few months and this was year after year after year and my friend has been there now for a long time
[26:13] and he is and he's assured me there will be no oil purchased from Russia I don't know maybe that's
[26:18] a breaking story can I say that would you say there will be no oil he's not buying his oil from Russia
[26:23] it started you know you can't do it immediately it's a little bit of a process but the process is
[26:28] going to be over with soon and all we want from President Putin is stop this stop killing Ukraines
[26:35] and stop killing Russians because he's killing a lot of Russians again it doesn't make him look good
[26:41] it's a war that he should have won in one week and he's now going into his fourth year
[26:45] that does not look this make this big so-called war machine look good but he could make a settlement
[26:54] we're willing to settle I thought we had a deal the hatred of the two leaders is very it's an obstacle
[27:01] it's an obstacle there's no question about it but I thought we had a deal two months ago
[27:06] who would think I created peace in the Middle East and can't get the two guys to settle but I think
[27:13] we'll get them but if India doesn't buy oil it makes it much easier and they're not going to buy
[27:20] they assured me they will within a short period of time they will not be buying oil from Russia
[27:24] and they'll go back to Russia after the war is open over Jennifer
[27:27] on the shutdown sir are FBI officials being paid right now are all the FBI employees being paid
[27:33] well that's what I understand I hope so
[27:35] thanks to your great work Mr. President
[27:38] got a lot of people paid actually
[27:43] we got the people that we want paid paid okay and we want the FBI paid we want the military paid
[27:50] we got the people that we want paid and I'll tell you the Democrats they don't talk about this
[27:55] you know we're getting rid of programs that we didn't like but that were negotiated in but we
[28:02] didn't like we're terminating those programs and they're going to be terminated on a permanent basis
[28:06] and it's thousands of people and it's it's you know billions of dollars we're getting rid of a lot
[28:12] of things that we never wanted because of the fact that they made this stupid move and their day coming
[28:18] up and they want to have their day in the sun but they should really make a deal so what we're doing
[28:25] I mean they call him Darth Vader but he's actually a very nice person Russell Vogt but Russell Vogt is
[28:32] is really terminating tremendous numbers of Democrat projects this is not only jobs I mean the project
[28:40] in Manhattan the project in New York it's billions and billions of dollars that Schumer
[28:46] has worked 20 years to get it's terminated tell him it's terminated Jennifer all right
[28:53] what is your understanding of the pace of returning the deceased hostages are you
[29:01] well they're looking for absolutely they're looking so we have the living hostages all back
[29:06] they returned some more today it's a gruesome process I almost hate to talk about it so
[29:12] but they're digging they're actually digging there are areas where they're digging and they're finding
[29:17] a lot of bodies then they have to separate the bodies you wouldn't believe this this is
[29:22] and some of those bodies have been in there a long time and some of them are under rubble
[29:27] they have to remove rubble but there are graves and some are some are in tunnels that are that
[29:34] that died in tunnels that are way down under the earth and the tunnels are like three feet can
[29:41] you believe it three feet high they lived like this for a long period of time it's a horrible it's a
[29:46] horrible atrocity at the same time we meaning Israel but I knew everything they were doing pretty much
[29:53] I knew most of the things they were doing but they've killed probably 70,000 of these people Hamas
[30:01] and I said it's time now so we'll see what happens we'll also see what happens your next question is going
[30:07] to be the weapons we want the weapons to be given up sacrificed and they've agreed to do it now they
[30:13] have to do it if they don't do it we'll do it today suggest that Hamas needs to hurry up and disarm
[30:21] and follow your comprehensive plan that it was the head of CENTCOM saying that is that not a signal
[30:26] to Hamas to the rest of the world that at some point the U.S. military more made more directly engaged
[30:31] we won't need the U.S. military we won't need it well because we're very much involved in it if we weren't
[30:37] involved there wouldn't be peace if we didn't destroy the nuclear capability of Iran that deal
[30:46] would have never happened for two reasons the Arab nations would not have felt bold enough to do it
[30:50] because you have a very powerful at that time Iran is not powerful anymore between what we what Israel
[30:57] and us did because you know the attack was was if you look at it we helped them very much they will be
[31:03] the first to tell you including shooting down thousands of drones that were coming into Israel you
[31:07] know we shot them down we were shooting them down like it was target practice but we shot down
[31:13] thousands of drones and missiles also going into Israel but between what we did to Iran that way
[31:21] with the you know conventional we will call it and what that beauty see that beautiful plane that
[31:27] beat till I notice it on the desk I always thought it was beautiful but I never understood it now I
[31:31] understand it took in hundreds of thousands of bombs in the form of two but hundreds of thousands of
[31:39] pounds of bombs and every single bomb hit perfectly then they sent tomahawks and they sent 30 tomahawks
[31:46] on top of it and that was totally you know CNN said well maybe it wasn't as bad as you know as Trump said
[31:53] because I said obliterated obliterated is not a strong enough word actually and you saw the Atomic
[32:00] Energy Commission came out and said the word obliteration is very very they think of it they
[32:06] came in under potential fire they entered Iran airspace late at night in the dark no moon the moon
[32:15] was low for a reason was the what time we picked it couldn't see anything and they hit every target
[32:20] and they weren't hit nobody saw that plane that plane of stealth nobody said the problem with that is
[32:27] it may be still today but tomorrow it won't be and we just ordered about 20 brand new B2 bombers it's
[32:34] unbelievable as a weapon I know Putin when I was riding with him in Alaska we passed a lot of them
[32:40] and he said that really did the trick I said yeah it did it's amazing the flying wing it's no reason for
[32:47] the US military to get involved in Gaza no I don't see that no I think we're going to handle it very well
[32:52] we'll be helping Israel but we have other countries that are now you know we signed many many countries
[32:57] signed and many of those countries relatively are very strong military powers and Hamas has no
[33:03] support see Hamas had the support of Iran and now Iran says don't get us involved the last time they
[33:10] got them involved didn't work out too well so they used to have the support of Iran today Iran is they're
[33:18] trying to survive you know when I heard the reports two weeks ago Iran's looking to build a nuclear
[33:23] weapon I said don't worry about it they got a lot of things they want to do before nuclear weapons
[33:28] I said the last thing they want to do is a nuclear weapon it didn't work out and if they did a nuclear
[33:34] weapon before they got even close that site would be attacked and it would be wiped out
[33:38] Mr. President you're meeting with President Xi in a few weeks if you can't come to an agreement or a deal
[33:45] at that meeting are we in for a sustained trade war with China well you're in one now look we have
[33:52] a hundred percent tariff if we didn't have tariffs we would be exposed as being a nothing we would have
[34:00] no defense you know they've used tariffs on us but we've never had anybody sitting in that chair that
[34:07] felt the need to do it and and they've allowed us to be 37 trillion dollars in debt etc etc
[34:15] we tariffs are a very important tool for our defense for our national security if we don't
[34:21] have tariffs we're not going to have national security as an example if you look at Pakistan
[34:28] and Iran I told them I was in the midst of negotiating a trade deal with actually with Iran and Pakistan
[34:35] was going to be in line and because of tariffs they all want to negotiate much differently we'll make
[34:41] it a good deal and then I heard that they're shooting at each other and I said during one of
[34:46] my conversations are you guys going to go to war two nuclear powers we are thinking about I said here's
[34:52] the deal you go to war I'm going to put a 200 percent tariff I'm going to stop you from doing any
[34:57] business in the United States I said it to both of them within 24 hours the war ended that would have
[35:03] been a nuclear war and again the prime minister of Pakistan who was here two weeks ago said that that
[35:10] man saved many millions of lives in front of a whole group of people because he thought it was
[35:15] going to be war but when it came to war or having to pay massive tariffs the tariffs overrode that's
[35:22] why it's so important not only the money we're taking in trillions of dollars not only the money
[35:27] the power to keep peace the power to be used for good is enormous but a lot of people didn't
[35:36] understand tariffs it's also made us very rich we have a big case coming up in the Supreme Court and
[35:42] I will tell you that's one of the most important cases in the history of our country because if we
[35:48] don't win that case we will be a weakened troubled financial mess for many many years to come I don't
[35:58] even know if survivable you know survivable is is a good term and if we do we're going to be the most
[36:04] powerful economic country in the world and all we're doing is using them as a defense against
[36:11] what's what took place for many years China would charge us tariffs it was incredible but we weren't
[36:16] allowed to charge and we were so we're allowed to do whatever we want we just had presidents that
[36:21] didn't want to do it for whatever reason and it was nothing but of the eight wars I was saying seven
[36:27] of the eight wars I would say tariffs are response directly responsible for me ending six of them
[36:34] five or six without the tariffs you have wars raging all over the world with the tariffs other than Russia
[36:42] we have no wars out there and we've made a lot of good friends too tariffs are so important to our new
[36:52] our national security if we don't have tariffs we don't have national security our country would would
[37:00] suffer a level that because they use so strongly on us as an example the European Union they won't
[37:08] take our cars they won't take our agriculture they won't take anything but they send their cars in
[37:13] Mercedes BMW Volkswagen by the millions we don't send any cars they don't take them they were tariffing us
[37:20] out agricultural products they don't take our agriculture they want their farmers to do it I understand
[37:26] that but it was very unfair and they were tariffing our product they're keeping out by using tariffs
[37:31] and we didn't use it but I used them and now we made one of the great deals with your 650 billion
[37:39] dollars they pay us and we've evened it out it's really a good thing to see and you have to understand
[37:46] they've all signed Japan South Korea I mean South Korea 350 billion dollars up front Japan 650 billion
[37:55] dollars and they've all agreed to it they're all happy but before it was a total ripoff and if we
[38:02] don't have the use of tariffs we have no national security this country will have no financial
[38:07] security will not have national security and the people that brought the lawsuit are people that are
[38:12] aligned with foreign nations that are now being treated fairly as opposed to just ripping us off and
[38:20] ripping us asunder so but if we don't if we are not allowed to use what other people use against us
[38:27] there's no defense it would be a disaster for America that's why I think I'm going to go to
[38:32] the Supreme Court to watch it I've not done that and I had some pretty big cases this is I think it's
[38:37] I think it's one of the most important cases ever brought because we will be defenseless against the
[38:45] world okay did you have one yes please thank you mr. president um I want to ask you about the
[38:54] georgia senate race I know it's very early but there's several republicans in that field that are
[38:58] vying for your endorsement a lot of good people in that field yes no I know I haven't made a decision
[39:04] on that but you have some very good people in the georgia senate race well governor has endorsed
[39:11] no no the governor has he's spoken to me about it a lot he likes that candidate a lot and I understand
[39:18] that I haven't made a decision yet but I'm following that race very carefully I think it's very important
[39:24] for georgia to get a real senator because the senator they have now is a horrible senator he he allows
[39:30] all the crime all the borders you have open borders I mean his whole philosophy is a disaster
[39:35] that's not representative of the people of georgia I know the people of georgia I won georgia
[39:39] three times but they say twice okay I wanted very big the last time and I want to big the first time
[39:47] and I want to big the second time but we had criminals that didn't allow I mean they I hope
[39:53] they're going to go into that I hope they go into the votes which are being stored in fulton county
[39:57] and take a look at a real look at those votes okay because I want it the second time too
[40:02] but I know georgia very well I love georgia those people are great
[40:06] and they deserve a good senator because the man they have now is a
[40:10] weak ineffective person okay
[40:13] by the way you won georgia three times
[40:20] do you agree with me he's the media for someone that he spends a lot of time in georgia I believe
[40:26] you won that uh I really have a question you know the word believe isn't strong enough right
[40:31] you know I know I want to oh we have the great newt gingrich newt you agree with us good otherwise
[40:39] I have him dismissed immediately from you know his wife as you know is becoming an ambassador to a
[40:45] great country calista so congratulations and we're going to take a picture and uh the only
[40:51] reason I'm doing he speaks so well of me he said I'll go down as the greatest president in history
[40:57] and then he blew it he said I'm not sure if I put him above Washington or Lincoln
[41:02] so I'm not that happy about that dude
[41:05] I had a question about the weaponization of the doj the media often says your department
[41:10] is weaponizing the doj that's the opposite it's the opposite todd you represented president trump
[41:16] and probably the greatest weaponization uh of the doj by alvin bragg you know firsthand if you
[41:23] can describe what you saw under the biden administration how they weaponized the doj well
[41:29] i mean i think it's hard to describe what happened in the last four years after president trump
[41:37] alvin bragg a local prosecutor his office staffed by some of the media
[41:41] jack smith picked as a special counsel staffs his entire office with doj prosecutors
[41:48] and then there are countless things that happen all all in writing most of them on the docket
[41:53] that require no explanation except a complete abomination of the place that the attorney
[41:59] all night long now and the director itself so when people talk about this department
[42:03] weaponizing it's embarrassing because there's no scenario where you can look at what we're
[42:09] doing restoring justice doing the right thing in every single case and say that that's weaponization
[42:16] and yet remain eerily silent about what happened for the past three years and we read these articles
[42:23] and giggle because it cannot be true that people really think that what they did to him
[42:28] not once not twice i'm still counting three four times but we're the ones that are weaponizing
[42:35] this man is not weaponizing the department of justice we're not weaponizing the department of
[42:39] justice it's the opposite i mean and also nobody questions what i'm saying because it's true
[42:44] because we all lived the past four years so listen they never want to bring up the details
[42:50] but i i watch the fake news and oh he's weaponized and he wants to send them to prison he wants all
[42:58] they they indicted me like five times i took a mug shot who would have thought it turned out to my
[43:07] favor because it was a good shot but i had to take a mug shot it's right out there in the door
[43:11] new york post front page of the every paper in the world i had a mug shot they wanted to send me nobody
[43:18] says that they say he's acting very very tough he's acting unfair let me tell you
[43:24] if they've been nice to anybody it's to those criminals because they are so good having to do
[43:31] with all of the things we're talking about today with violent crime but if anything i think this
[43:37] justice department has been so respectful of the law because the other justice department
[43:43] with rita or lisa and all of that scum real scum what they did to the political opponent of a guy that
[43:53] has a seriously low ikea now in his case it was it was low based on his career but it got real low
[44:03] okay it was descending rapidly but what they did to go after his political opponent is legendary
[44:13] worse than any third world country banana republic and what we're doing is nothing are you kidding
[44:22] nothing they write stories why aren't they doing this this and we'll leave i don't have to leave it
[44:30] up to them but i choose to at this moment at least but there's never been anybody treated in the history
[44:37] of politics you know they say the two worst treated presidents by the media etc was that man right there
[44:44] the late great abraham lincoln and this grant right there andrew jackson they say andrew jackson was
[44:52] treated terribly they give him number one and number two but that was before i came along newt i say i
[44:59] have number one times ten nobody's been uh and make better the white house and that's really what's
[45:07] happened and we're getting tremendous reviews and we appreciate it but we're here for a different
[45:12] reason it's called operation summer heat which is an appropriate term in light of what we're doing
[45:18] and early yesterday morning i returned from the middle east where we celebrated a historic agreement
[45:23] to end years of suffering and conflict amazing every country came together
[45:29] i mean even the enemies came out and and totally endorsed it everybody i've never seen anything like
[45:35] it nobody's seen anything like it and just as we are forging peace and stability abroad we're
[45:40] also restoring peace and safety and stability at home and you see that in washington d.c may be better than any place
[45:47] because we got there and within 12 days it was it was very good and within 30 days it's been as safe as
[45:54] any city in the country it's been great took out 1700 people got them out these are career criminals in
[46:00] many cases and people that shouldn't have been allowed in by the biden administration historically
[46:05] the summer months have been a time when violent crime soar as you know but not under president trump
[46:12] today we're announcing the results of a sweeping law enforcement effort known as operation summer heat
[46:18] we were in many cities that people didn't know about we kept it a little quiet and uh it had a big impact
[46:24] and you'll hear that in a second but over the past few months fbi offices in all 50 states made crushing
[46:31] violent crime a top enforcement priority that's what they did rounding up and arresting thousands of the
[46:38] most violent and dangerous criminals and these are among the most dangerous and violent people in
[46:43] the world they were allowed in many cases not in all cases but in many cases they were allowed in by a
[46:49] very foolish actually stupid open border policy just anybody could have come in they emptied out their
[46:56] jails their prisons their mental institutions they emptied them into our country and the people behind
[47:02] me have done an incredible job because uh if we didn't have that administration it would have been so
[47:07] much easier they allowed millions of people in this country that shouldn't have been allowed
[47:12] including over 11 000 murderers half of whom murdered more than one person and many of them are gone now
[47:19] or they're put in prison because we're we don't want to have them come back so we literally put them in
[47:24] our prison which we don't want to do but we bring them back to their countries working with state and
[47:29] local partners the fbi arrested over 8 000 violent criminals during the course of this period
[47:35] in major cities like in new orleans nashville we saw 250 percent increase in arrests we got
[47:43] and we really went after the bad ones these include 725 individuals wanted for violent crimes against
[47:51] children and murderers these arrests are in addition to the work of our historic federal task forces that
[47:59] uh make dc safe task force has been unbelievable i mean the job they've done it's incredible and it's
[48:07] been so nice because so many people they're going out to dinner and they're having dinners they wouldn't
[48:12] they didn't go out for four years and now they're going out three times a week the restaurants are opening
[48:19] restaurants are full and usually that means a lot of good things but restaurants that were closed are now
[48:25] opening up and everybody's happy it's nobody's ever seen anything like it actually and everybody feels
[48:30] safe you can you can have a child walk right through the middle of washington dc and nothing's going to
[48:35] happen we were losing more than one person a week in one they're being killed on an average of over one a
[48:41] week the make dc safe task force has been incredible and the make memphis safe task force is having very
[48:52] similar results it's much earlier but we've been there for a week and a half but i'm hearing the results
[48:57] are pretty incredible and you'll hear about that they're mobilizing more than 20 federal agencies for
[49:03] the largest law enforcement operation targeting violent criminals in american history as a result of
[49:09] these efforts violent crime declined nearly 20 percent nationwide compared to the same period last
[49:14] year and it was the safest and most peace peaceful summer in two decades and honestly we haven't really
[49:20] even gotten going yet if we didn't have to fight all of these radical left governors we could have had
[49:25] chicago taken care of as an example they had in a short period of time 4 000 murders in chicago and we have
[49:33] to listen to this man stand up and say that we're bad people and the people of chicago are walking around
[49:38] with mega hats you have women beautiful black women walking around with mega hats please let the
[49:45] president in and we don't care how he does it they're not interested in national guard or army navy bring
[49:52] them in marines bring in the marines they just want the crime to stop and more so because of the success
[49:58] that we had in dc i think if we didn't have that success nobody would even believe it so i want to
[50:05] congratulate all of the incredible law enforcement professionals joining us today especially attorney
[50:11] general pam bondi who's terrific deputy attorney general todd blanche who is uh a fantastic legal
[50:20] talent he really is he's a great guy too and of course fbi director cash patel they have worked so
[50:27] hard on this and other things since the start of the administration the fbi has arrested over 23 000
[50:33] violent criminals more than double the number arrested in the final year of the biden disaster
[50:40] the fbi has also destroyed or severely disrupted more than 170 organized criminal enterprises and gangs
[50:49] 1600 of the most violent gangs and confiscated over 6 000 illegal firearms and they've tracked down and
[50:57] arrested four fugitives on the most wanted list four of the most wanted actually two of them were
[51:04] the most wanted fugitives in the world there's still much more work to be done which is why the fbi
[51:10] continues to work alongside the department of justice the department of homeland security
[51:15] and the department of war to defend and pete hegseth has been fantastic by the way on this too on other
[51:22] things but on this too to defend law and order and combat violent crime arrest illegal aliens and make
[51:30] american cities the safest in the world and when i campaigned i talked about crime but i never knew
[51:36] that we were going to get into it like we did you know i mean i used to watch these cities with the
[51:40] murders chicago recently had one deal where they had 11 murders in one weekend and they said well yeah
[51:47] but it was a holiday weekend they actually told me that was the reason like it was okay because it was a
[51:52] holiday it was labor day these people are the worst they are they really have to they better i tell you
[51:58] what the the people in chicago and the people in places like that that could be fixed at some point
[52:04] it gets to where you can't fix it anymore it's too far gone and we have some cities like that
[52:10] but these are great cities that could be fixed i'm going to be strongly recommending
[52:14] at the request of government officials which is always nice that you start looking at san francisco
[52:20] i think we can make san francisco there's one of our great cities 10 years ago 15 years ago now it's a
[52:27] mess and we have great support in san francisco so i'd like to recommend that for inclusion maybe in
[52:33] in your next group you'll get great support every american deserves to live in a community where they're
[52:39] not afraid of being mugged murdered robbed raped assaulted or shot and that's exactly what our
[52:45] administration is working to deliver i didn't realize i was going to make this such a big factor
[52:50] in the i didn't really campaign i campaigned on crime but i never thought we'd go into every city and
[52:56] take a really safe city that we've all been living with for years and make them safe and now it's like
[53:02] a passion for me and it's a passion for the people behind me so i didn't get elected i did get elected
[53:09] for crime but i didn't get elected for what we're doing this is many many steps above and i want to
[53:14] thank steven miller who's right back in the audience right there i'd love to have him i love watching him
[53:20] on television i'd love to have him come up and explain his true feelings but maybe not his truest
[53:27] feelings that might be going a little bit too far but steven thank you for doing an unbelievable job
[53:32] and the people of this country love you i'll tell you and they love what you say about crime and stopping
[53:37] crime so now i'd like to ask director i'd like to ask uh director patel to say a few words and then
[53:45] pam and todd also and i just want to congratulate them this is an amazing thing and we're just at
[53:51] the start we're going to go into other cities that we're not talking about purposely we're getting ready
[53:55] to go in and when they go in like cash is an example told me that people didn't even know
[54:00] five months ago they went into chicago and they started doing a lot of work in chicago and we brought the
[54:07] the numbers down a little bit and uh but that really was just preparatory work for what we're
[54:13] going to do with the surge we're going to have a surge of uh strong good people patriots and they're
[54:21] going to go in they straighten it all out so uh a lot of these cities we're already working on but
[54:26] we don't do it with a big a big flavor but in a little while you're going to see some numbers that
[54:31] you're not going to believe and i think you'll probably start with memphis because i'm hearing the
[54:35] numbers are much quicker than we even thought possible uh but uh again dc is it speaks for
[54:42] itself chicago is going to be okay we're going to save chicago and i told you and i told them
[54:48] a very respected man the head of the union pacific said sir save chicago it can be saved and the way he
[54:54] said it was like can you believe it we're trying to save chicago but i understood exactly what he wants
[55:00] and that's what we're going to do we're going to save all of our cities and we're going to make them
[55:04] essentially crime free like other countries have crime free if you go all over the world you go
[55:11] to the world you hear afghanistan and you hear all these different places uh our crime in certain
[55:16] cities is worse than anything they can even imagine and we're not going to have that any
[55:21] longer it's going to stop and it stops right here cash please thank you mr president what i'd like to
[55:26] do is just highlight some of the outstanding work that the men and women of the fbi have been doing
[55:30] and thanks to your brave leadership and the mandate you were given by the american people not only
[55:34] defend the homeland but crush violent crime you tasked us with our great partners at the department
[55:38] of justice and the attorney general and the deputy attorney general to start making arrests and bring
[55:42] prosecutions and safeguard our cities and you said it this is just the beginning in just seven months
[55:48] i hope the media takes a look at every one of these charts because these are the best numbers
[55:52] for fighting crime in u.s history and it's only seven months in and to do that our vehicle to do it of
[55:59] choice was operation summer heat which the fbi architected to go after violent criminals and
[56:04] in just a three month span you had 8 700 arrests of violent criminals you had 2200 firearms seized off
[56:12] the streets permanently to safeguard our communities you had 421 kilograms of fentanyl seized just to put
[56:19] that in perspective that's enough to kill 55 million americans alone you had 45 000 kilograms of cocaine seized
[56:28] and thanks to our department of justice partners who had 2100 indictments in three months from june
[56:34] to september alone mr president that in and of itself would be historic for a four-year presidency
[56:40] you did that in seven months because you let good cops be cops and you partnered us with the right
[56:45] people the department of justice to put the handcuffs on and bring them to court and put them in prison
[56:50] and if that weren't enough when you look at the year for the entire seven month period that we're
[56:54] talking about here if you look at the past four years of the biden administration 16 000 17 000 15 000
[57:02] that's the number of arrests year over year of violent felons in this country for the biden
[57:06] administration mr president in seven months you have 27 28 600 arrests of violent feminals in just
[57:14] seven months alone because of your leadership and the dedication of the men and women at the fbi
[57:19] who want to go out there and do the job they were prevented from doing because that department used
[57:24] to be weaponized and politicized and this is what happens when you take out the fangs of weaponization
[57:29] this number is historic by every metric 28 000 people have been arrested violent felons alone
[57:35] and then when you go over there and look at some of these charts if you don't mind i'll just hop over
[57:39] here look at the metrics for not just by the crime to the homeland mr president during your administration
[57:48] the sbi has found and located 5 400 children that is a 30 percent increase year to date over the last
[57:57] administration violent crime against children arrest alone are up 10 percent gang arrests are up 210
[58:04] in the last seven months alone and transnational organized crime which stephen miller has been a
[58:09] great partner in is up over 12 percent alone these numbers are historic just as a snapshot but just so
[58:17] people don't think we're focusing on violent crime alone the national security mission mr president
[58:22] your leadership has never been stronger we have gone after espionage activities against our main
[58:27] counterparts in china russia and iran in china alone we've had over a 50 percent increase in espionage
[58:34] of arrests alone in prosecution in iran we have had a 50 percent increase again in espionage cases and in
[58:42] russia we had a 33 percent increase in espionage cases alone when it comes to counterterrorism year
[58:49] to date we have 125 arrests this year versus 100 last year year to date alone and when it comes to the
[58:55] cyber criminal activities which are some of the largest enterprises plaguing everyday americans we at the
[59:01] fbi have put out a mission to go after cyber criminals like never before last year they had in total 191
[59:08] this year you already have 252 arrests 52 arrests of violent cyber criminals who are stealing from
[59:15] senior citizens who are violating our children's rights and freedoms and who are violating everyday
[59:20] americans these programs are record and some of the two of the things i'll finish with that i'm most proud
[59:26] of mr president this fbi fentanyl as you know it's a surge that's killing our youth 100 000 plus a year
[59:32] to date the fbi has seized 1900 kilograms of fentanyl that's enough lethal doses to kill 127 million
[59:40] americans alone to date and if that weren't enough mr president you said we have to go after the worst of
[59:47] the worst and you empowered our department of justice our attorney general deputy attorney general and the
[59:51] deputy director at the fbi led the charge not just on summer heat but he also led the charge to the fbi's
[59:58] 10 most wanted fugitive these people have been on the run for years and in seven months you captured
[1:00:04] not one not two not three but four of the fbi's most top ten fugitives four and just to put that
[1:00:10] in perspective mr president the biden administration captured four in all four years you're on seven and
[1:00:15] we're going to get to ten we're going to get the ten of ten this includes a lady who murdered her six
[1:00:19] year old handicapped child and fled to india we got her in two months this includes a narco trafficker
[1:00:24] this includes a sex trafficker this includes another first three murder and gangbang these
[1:00:29] people were on the run because of the prior administration's reckless policies that destroyed
[1:00:34] our communities and you came in and with a mandate said go after the worst of the worst this is just
[1:00:39] the beginning this is what happens when you let good cops do good cops at the fbi mr president i just
[1:00:44] want to thank you for your incredible leadership our brave partnership with prosecutors who know how to
[1:00:50] bring cases and make sure these arrests stick and that's what the attorney general and the deputy
[1:00:54] attorney general led the charge across this country because arrests without prosecutions are
[1:00:58] meaningless we are deterring criminals from doing this activity we are preventing criminals from coming
[1:01:03] into america and we are absolutely crushing violent crime at level 4 and defending this homeland sir
[1:01:09] and not to mention i almost forgot this one it took you sir two weeks to get the aggregate bomber
[1:01:15] joe biden had four years to look for him you got him in two weeks next to the internet
[1:01:18] and we're going to continue to find the elders mr president on behalf of the fbi sir i just want to
[1:01:32] thank you thank you very much thank you very good very good very impressive president trump the the men
[1:01:41] and women of law enforcement say two things to me repeatedly first you have taken the handcuffs off them
[1:01:47] and let them do their jobs and you let cops be cops that's why all this is happening the director the
[1:01:56] deputy director are working around the clock all of these great men and women in the fbi they have
[1:02:01] think about they have families at home and they are working during a government shutdown right now many
[1:02:07] of them have small children many of them i was talking to an agent this morning many of them have
[1:02:12] they have babies at home and they are working around the clock to not only keep our country
[1:02:18] but our world safe and that's what operation summer heat did thank you director and to the deputy
[1:02:24] director for everything you did on behalf of the department of justice and you're going to continue
[1:02:29] to keep doing and they set the stage for what we're doing in memphis you're going to hear a lot more about that
[1:02:36] our joint task force next week but they set the stage for memphis and last night alone in memphis
[1:02:42] there were almost 70 arrests there were 12 guns seized and there was a 70 year old man arrested as
[1:02:49] a result of our operation in memphis who raped a child under the age of three that one case makes
[1:02:55] everything we're doing worthwhile so thank you all for being here on behalf of both of us thank you
[1:03:01] president trump thank you todd you want to say something sure thank you thank you mr president
[1:03:06] so this is a great day and i think there's stats that the director talked about which are important
[1:03:11] but i want to give two examples of what summer heat has done that that actually will apply
[1:03:17] hopefully to everybody in this room the first is for over four years during the last administration
[1:03:23] there was a hotel in a town the middle of a town in alaska that was being run as a drug den
[1:03:30] there were over one thousand calls to 911 over four four and a half year period there were multiple
[1:03:40] violent crimes drug dealers overdoses and murders at this one hotel ruining a community summer heat
[1:03:47] went in there it's not only arrested all the participants that were controlling the hotel but
[1:03:52] seized the hotel and so that's that's one example of what summer heat means to everyday americans that
[1:03:58] just want to live in peace the second example is is a large narcotics trafficking group that was
[1:04:03] selling fentanyl in the state of washington they were shipping fentanyl and using commercial aircraft
[1:04:10] putting fentanyl pills and powder onto come in suitcases flying them from the southwest border mostly
[1:04:17] arizona all the way to washington it had been going on for an extremely long time and the entire
[1:04:23] organization was arrested and i i say those two examples because it's easy to look at the board
[1:04:28] and see a thousand arrests how much different is our communities now compared to the past four years
[1:04:34] but there's actual life examples every one of these arrests means that our streets are safer
[1:04:39] and that's that's because of the work of this administration of president trump and and director
[1:04:44] patel so i will tell you attorney general bondi and i are together every day with with director patel
[1:04:50] figuring out ways that we can continue to do this work and and it's it's not going to stop like like
[1:04:55] the attorney general said and like the president said this is just the beginning or phase one or
[1:05:00] start whatever you want to say but it will continue on so so thank you mr president thank
[1:05:04] you very much director patel and mr president just one last thank you from the men and women at the fbi
[1:05:09] you found a way to get these individuals paid during a government shutdown our 1811 agents
[1:05:14] on behalf of the fbi it's a great debt that we owe you sir they're now allowed to pay for their
[1:05:19] families so thank you and the military that's right thank you okay thank you very much any questions
[1:05:25] please brian go ahead first of all i know the feedback i'm getting from american people but they
[1:05:31] want to say thank you law and order is not an option in this country it's a mandate so i know the american
[1:05:36] people thank you for that in terms of the guns that have been taken off the street do you have a
[1:05:41] number of how many guns were taken away from someone that had a prior felony or a previous
[1:05:47] crime that perhaps we can prosecute that because i know that wasn't the case of a joe biden we
[1:05:51] don't take guns off the streets of people that are allowed to have guns so every gun that we're
[1:05:56] taking off the street is because it belongs to somebody who is not allowed to have it could be a
[1:06:00] felon could be somebody who hears illegally there's all sorts of conditions but we if there's a gun
[1:06:05] taken off the streets by the fbi it's because the person who has it is not allowed to it's not
[1:06:10] somebody who's lawfully allowed to have it so every single one of those guns were taken off of
[1:06:14] people that aren't all down and not including the fbi all of the other agencies atf alone since
[1:06:19] january 20th has removed over 25 000 illegal guns off our streets just since president trump's been in
[1:06:27] office mr president if i could follow up on that could there be any further conversation to have
[1:06:32] uh national concealed carry applied to our actual dc uh like if you had a driver's license in texas and
[1:06:39] you had a permit of course you could drive well as you know they've been talking about that for a long
[1:06:43] time it's a it's an interesting question a lot of people feel strongly both ways but
[1:06:48] we are talking about that brian thank you mr president on venezuelan's boats um i want to ask
[1:06:53] you why not have the coast guard stopped them which it is empowered by a lot to do you know this way you
[1:07:00] can um confirm who's on the boat and ensure that they're doing what they would suspect because we've
[1:07:05] been doing that for 30 years and it has been totally ineffective uh they have faster boats some of these
[1:07:12] boats are seriously i mean they're world-class speed boats and but they're not faster than missiles
[1:07:19] but we've been trying to do that for years and so much of the drugs 25 30 percent would come in through
[1:07:24] the seas right now we have i would say none coming in through the seas in fact i don't know about the
[1:07:30] fishing industry if you want to go fishing a lot of people aren't deciding to even go fishing we've
[1:07:36] almost totally stopped it by sea now we'll stop it by land what's the next but it never worked it never
[1:07:41] worked when when you know when you did it in a very politically correct manner what's the next
[1:07:47] step in this war on cartels and are you considering options are you considering strikes on land well i
[1:07:53] don't want to tell you exactly but we are certainly looking at land now because we've got the sea very
[1:07:57] well under control uh we've had a couple of days where there isn't a boat to be found and that i view
[1:08:03] that as a good thing not a bad thing but we had tremendous amounts coming in by boats by very expensive
[1:08:08] boats you know they have a lot of money very fast very expensive boats that were pretty big
[1:08:14] and the way you look at it is every boat that we knock out we save 25 000 american lives so every time
[1:08:20] you see a boat and you feel badly you say wow that's rough it is rough but if you lose three people and
[1:08:26] save 25 000 people these are people that are killing our population every boat is saving 25 000 lives and you
[1:08:34] can see it the boats get hit and you see that fentanyl all over the ocean it's like floating in bags it's
[1:08:40] all over the place and it's uh it's a tremendous say we're saving tremendous amounts of lives
[1:08:48] mr president i know you've talked about i have a question for you and then i also have a question
[1:08:52] for director patel i know you talked about having some uh distaste for boston recently is this one of
[1:08:59] the cities that you might be looking into and can you give us a hint about other cities that you might be
[1:09:03] you're saying for where for where for boston yeah well boston has a a bad mayor who at least is
[1:09:10] a reasonable iq person you know most of them are low iq but uh and they're so bad i mean what's going
[1:09:16] on in chicago is just you'd think the guy would say hey look we have a problem mr president could you
[1:09:22] come in and straighten it out i could have that we could have that done in a month if we had their
[1:09:26] cooperation it's going to be done anyway but we could have it done in a month yeah boston she's got four
[1:09:32] areas that are you know wrong and uh you know somebody said would we take would we think about
[1:09:38] taking the world cup away from boston if they don't straighten it out the answer is yes we have
[1:09:42] the right to do that with fifa so if we think that l.a is going to be bad or we think uh that applies
[1:09:48] a little bit to the olympics too but we'll talk about fifa first you know fifa is very hot if we
[1:09:54] think there's any reason that whether it's boston or anywhere else that they're not doing their job we're
[1:09:59] going to take that those world cup games and move them someplace else thank you and then director
[1:10:04] patel there's been so many conspiracy theories swirling around about the assassination of charlie
[1:10:09] kirk do you have any updates for us especially in light of all the online content that everyone's been
[1:10:14] talking about the only thing we deal with at the fbi and the department of justice is facts and we
[1:10:18] delivered in record speed a manhunt to capture charlie kirk's alleged session in 33 hours and if you put
[1:10:23] that in perspective to luigi mangione with a boston bomber they took them five days and a police officer lost
[1:10:28] their life in their manhunt we are running out absolutely every single lead and the best thing
[1:10:32] we can do to honor my friend charlie kirk's life is to make sure that everyone involved is prosecuted
[1:10:37] to the full extent of the law and that's what we're focused on investigating the facts not trading and
[1:10:41] conspiracy theories okay mr president thank you so much thank you uh in light of china's export
[1:10:47] curves on rare earths do you view india as a reliable partner uh going forward and uh are you planning to
[1:10:55] meet prime minister modi in malaysia um are you open to talks in terms of yeah sure he's a friend
[1:11:01] of mine we have a great relationship he just said that two days ago as you know we have a great
[1:11:06] relationship no we were not happy with him buying oil from russia because that lets russia continue
[1:11:12] on with this ridiculous war where they've lost a million and a half people by the way russia has lost
[1:11:16] a million and a half people soldiers mostly uh this is a war that should have never started but it's a war
[1:11:22] that russia should have won in the first week and they're going into the fourth year and i want to
[1:11:28] see it stop so i was not happy that india was buying oil and he assured me today that they will
[1:11:34] not be buying oil from russia that's a big stop now i got to get china to do the same thing you know that
[1:11:42] that is relatively easy compared to what we just did over the last week in the middle east middle east
[1:11:48] was 3 000 years and we got it done this is three years uh and i think we'll get it done i think that
[1:11:55] putin president putin i think is going to i think he wants to get it done we'll see there's a great
[1:12:01] animosity between him and zielinski you probably have noticed right and it's uh i think it's hurting
[1:12:07] the process yeah yeah please thank you um curious why did you authorize the cia to go into venezuela
[1:12:14] and is there more information you can share about these strikes on the alleged well i can't do that
[1:12:19] but i authorized for two reasons really number one they have emptied their prisons into the united
[1:12:26] states of america they came in through the uh well they came in through the border they came in because
[1:12:32] we had an open border policy and as soon as i heard that i said a lot of these countries they're not the
[1:12:37] only country but they're the worst abuser and they've entered their they've they've allowed thousands
[1:12:43] and thousands of prisoners mental institution people from mental institutions and
[1:12:49] insane asylums emptied out into the united states we're bringing them back but that's a really bad
[1:12:55] and they did it at a level that probably not many many countries have done it but not like venezuela
[1:13:00] they were down and dirty and the other thing of drugs we have a lot of drugs coming in from venezuela
[1:13:05] and a lot of the venezuelan drugs come in through the sea so you get to see that
[1:13:09] but we're going to stop them by land also does the cia have authority to take out maduro
[1:13:14] oh i don't want to answer a question like that that's a ridiculous question for me to be given
[1:13:19] not really a ridiculous question but wouldn't it be a ridiculous question for me to answer
[1:13:25] but i think venezuela is feeling heat but i think a lot of other countries are feeling heat too
[1:13:30] we're not going to let this country our country be ruined because other people want to drop as you
[1:13:35] say their worst they they have given us their worst they've loaded up our country with prisoners with
[1:13:41] with mentally ill people that are seriously ill criminally ill and we're not going to take it
[1:13:48] and so i mean it's just one of those things and i can tell you we've taken care of the sea there's
[1:13:53] nobody and we're watching we're watching and if we see it we'll save it yeah please on the ships though
[1:13:59] sir there are republicans and democrats up on the hill concerned that in the briefings they've gotten about
[1:14:05] those attacks they're not necessarily getting information about who was on them and what exactly was on
[1:14:10] those ships can you well but they are given information that they were loaded up with drugs
[1:14:15] and that's the thing that matters when they're loaded up with drugs they're fair game and every
[1:14:20] one of those ships were they're not ships they're they're boats they're speed boats they're extremely
[1:14:25] fast record-setting type speed boats that cost a lot of money and they have a lot of money because
[1:14:30] they're drug sellers but they know one thing and they all have the same thing in common there's
[1:14:36] uh there's uh there's drug dust they call it drug dust they call it fentanyl dust all over the boat
[1:14:43] after those bombs go off and you you can take a long we know we know before we know when they go out
[1:14:51] we know we have uh much information about each boat that goes out deep strong information yeah please
[1:14:59] sir you're going to have one years here this week what is your message at this stage of the war for
[1:15:05] him and shy of to who is it for zelinski yeah shy of tom oggs for ukraine are you considering other
[1:15:12] options and will you speak with no we're looking at other options we are uh president zelinski's coming
[1:15:20] in i'm not a fan of the war i'm not a fan of the way it started it should have never happened it
[1:15:25] wouldn't have started if i were president the election was rigged and because of that we lost
[1:15:31] a lot of lives have been lost because of that we're not american lives but if i can save a lot
[1:15:36] of lives that's why i'm in it i want to save lives i've i've had uh eight wars the prime minister of
[1:15:43] pakistan got up the other day said so beautifully says you saved millions of lives he told that to a
[1:15:48] group of people right in this office he said the president saved millions of lives and i think what
[1:15:53] he's referring to is the fact that that would have been with india nuclear war that was getting
[1:15:58] very close you know seven planes they don't talk about it but seven aircraft were shot in fact we
[1:16:04] have the new ambassador to india right here they're well represented you better represent us not them
[1:16:10] okay but sergio is going to do a great job he's going to do a great job but no we'll be talking about
[1:16:16] the war with with him and we'll be talking about i mean they they want to go offensive uh i'll make
[1:16:24] a determination on that but they would like to go offensive you know that and we'll have to make
[1:16:29] a determination a question given about the fbi director and attorney general here today do
[1:16:34] jordan has asked jack smith to appear at the house judiciary you mean deranged jack he's a deranged
[1:16:40] individual yeah well they should i'm surprised it takes so long you know we're talking about violent
[1:16:45] crime what about the crime against a political opponent that's what we have to talk about too
[1:16:50] i think it was the worst weaponization of a political opponent in the history of the world
[1:17:04] let alone this country and i hope that everybody's you know they're involved in it i'm not i i'm the
[1:17:11] one that had to suffer through it and ultimately win but uh what they did was criminal deranged jack
[1:17:18] smith in my opinion is a criminal and i noticed his his interviewer was i think that was weissman
[1:17:25] and i hope they're going to look into weissman too weissman's a bad guy and he had somebody in lisa
[1:17:31] who was his puppet worked in the office uh really as the top person and i think that uh she should be
[1:17:40] looked at very strongly it there was tremendous criminal activity having to do if we don't have fair
[1:17:45] elections in this country we're not going to have a country and i've said it from the beginning fair
[1:17:49] elections and border borders and we need also fair press because if you don't have fair press it's very
[1:17:56] tough and uh we've got the strongest border of anybody nobody has a border we have a border where
[1:18:02] the numbers just came out again you saw zero people came in illegally now we do take people into our
[1:18:08] country legally but zero people but you know you're talking about a different subject you're talking about
[1:18:13] political crime they have committed massive political crime i hope they're looking at shifty
[1:18:20] shift i hope they're looking at all these people and i'm allowed to find out i'm allowed to you know
[1:18:25] i'm in theory the chief law enforcement officer but i have a very good talented group this is about
[1:18:31] something else but i hope they're looking at political crime because there's never been so much
[1:18:35] political crime against a political opponent as what i had to go through they raided my house in
[1:18:42] florida it was an illegal raid i have a lawsuit that was doing very well and when i became president
[1:18:48] i said i'm sort of suing myself i don't know what he has settled the lawsuit i'll say give me x dollars
[1:18:54] right and i don't know what to do with the lawsuit it's a great lawsuit and now i won it sort of looks
[1:18:59] bad i'm suing myself right so i don't know but but that was a lawsuit that was a very strong very
[1:19:04] powerful they raided illegally my house in florida mar-a-lago they went through the draws of my young
[1:19:12] son they went through all of the cabinets and drawers of the first lady she walked in she said
[1:19:18] wow what happened because she's very meticulous and this wasn't so meticulous as she looked into
[1:19:24] the drawers and she saw everything a mess it's it's uh what they did against a person that just got out
[1:19:31] of office and then you look at these corrupt people you look at hunter biden you look at the signature as
[1:19:37] an example of the auto pen i just signed so many different things an admiral a four-star general
[1:19:44] that i'm signing them left and right the commissions and by the way i want to compliment john thune
[1:19:48] and also mike our great speaker but john thune all of a sudden i'm getting these things by the
[1:19:54] hundreds i was getting one every two weeks it would have been four years before you got them in
[1:19:59] wars you would have had some that didn't even get in all because of democrat obstruction so john
[1:20:05] thune did a great job i signed i must have signed 200 into the administration we're just about caught
[1:20:11] up it's amazing and so compliments to john he had to do some things that were very tough to do that
[1:20:16] he didn't want to do but he was forced to do it by the democrats and as far as the shutdown is concerned
[1:20:22] this is a democrat schumer shutdown and he's trying to do it to get relevance back into the party because
[1:20:28] he's a loser i've known him all his life he's always been sort of a loser but an intelligent one
[1:20:33] but i think he's losing iq points with time i think that happens i hope it hasn't happened with
[1:20:38] me i know if it did you guys will let me know about it very quickly here in dc a judge has given the
[1:20:47] two teenagers that beat up ex-juge staffer big balls probation that's incredible in no jail time
[1:20:56] janine pirro is doing a fantastic job and she is beside herself because you have these radical left
[1:21:02] judges that they beat the hell out of this guy and it was many people against this one guy who was
[1:21:09] really trying to protect his girlfriend he didn't want he's hooded over the door because but they
[1:21:14] really beat him up badly that just happened right wow that's terrible i think the judge should be
[1:21:21] ashamed of himself that's a big problem you know they can do their job and then they go into a court and
[1:21:27] the people are protected by these i don't know where they come from where did these people come from
[1:21:31] where did the judges come from i want to compliment on behalf of pam and todd and all of us because
[1:21:37] cash i think that janine has done a fantastic job and the case i heard was like flawless it's a
[1:21:43] flawless case they have them on tape they have everything and then a judge gives them a little
[1:21:48] probation it's very these are these are rough guys and they're young and if that happens they're going to
[1:21:55] grow up they're going to be real bad they're going to cause they're going to cause a lot of problems yeah
[1:21:59] please go ahead what were the conversations like with prime minister modi and i think they were
[1:22:08] great he reported to me that you're great the great he's a great man you know modi is a great man
[1:22:16] that he he loves trump now i don't know if the word love i don't want you to take that any different i
[1:22:22] don't want to destroy his political career okay but you have to understand i've watched india for years
[1:22:27] it's an incredible country and every single year you'd have a new leader i mean some would be in
[1:22:32] there for a few months and this was year after year after year and my friend has been there now for a
[1:22:38] long time and he is and he's assured me there will be no oil purchased from russia i don't know maybe
[1:22:43] that's a breaking story can i say that would you say there will be no oil he's not buying his oil from
[1:22:48] russia it's it started you know you can't do it immediately it's a little bit of a process but the
[1:22:53] process is going to be over with soon and all we want from president putin is stop this stop killing
[1:22:59] ukraines and stop killing russians because he's killing a lot of russians again it doesn't make him
[1:23:06] look good it's a war that he should have won in one week and he's now going into his fourth year
[1:23:12] that does not look this make this big so-called war machine look good but he could make a settlement
[1:23:19] we're willing to settle i thought we had a deal the hatred of the two leaders is very you know
[1:23:26] it's an obstacle it's an obstacle there's no question about it but i thought we had a deal
[1:23:30] two months ago uh who would think i created peace in the middle east and can't get the two guys to
[1:23:38] settle but i i think we'll get them but uh if india doesn't buy oil it makes it much easier and they're
[1:23:45] not going to buy they they assured me they will within a short period of time they will not be buying
[1:23:49] oil from russia and they'll go back to russia after the war is open over jennifer on the shutdown
[1:23:54] sir are fbi officials being paid right now are all the fbi employees being paid well that's what i
[1:24:00] understand i hope so thanks to your great work mr president especially that the fbi are going to
[1:24:06] receive their paychecks got a lot of people paid actually we got the people that we want paid paid
[1:24:12] okay and we want the fbi paid we want the military paid we got the people that we want paid and i'll tell
[1:24:17] you the democrats they don't talk about this you know we're getting rid of programs that we didn't
[1:24:24] like but that were negotiated in but we didn't like we're terminating those programs and they're going
[1:24:29] to be terminated on a permanent basis and it's thousands of people and it's it's you know billions
[1:24:35] of dollars we're getting rid of a lot of things that we never wanted because of the fact that they
[1:24:41] made this stupid move and they don't want to talk about it you know they have their day coming up i
[1:24:45] hear very few people are going to be there by the way but they have their day coming up and they
[1:24:50] want to have their day in the sun uh but they should really make a deal so what we're doing i mean they
[1:24:56] call him darth vader but he's actually a very nice person russell vote but russell vote is is really
[1:25:04] terminating tremendous numbers of democrat projects this is not only jobs i mean the project in manhattan
[1:25:12] the project in new york it's billions and billions of dollars that schumer has worked 20 years to get
[1:25:20] it's terminated tell him it's terminated jennifer all right
[1:25:25] sir uh what is your understanding of the pace of returning the deceased hostages are you
[1:25:32] pleased well they're looking for absolutely they're looking so we have the living hostages all back
[1:25:37] uh they returned some more today it's a gruesome process i almost hate to talk about it so but
[1:25:44] they're digging they're actually digging there are areas where they're digging and they're finding a lot
[1:25:49] of bodies uh then they have to separate the bodies you wouldn't believe this this is and some of those
[1:25:54] bodies have been in there a long time and some of them are under rubble they have to remove rubble but
[1:26:00] uh there are graves and some are some are in tunnels that are that died in tunnels that are
[1:26:08] way down under the earth and the tunnels are like three feet can you believe it three feet high
[1:26:13] they lived like this for a long period of time it's a horrible it's a horrible atrocity at the same time
[1:26:20] we meaning israel but i knew everything they were doing pretty much i knew most of the things they
[1:26:26] were doing but they've killed probably 70 000 of these people hamas and i said it's time now
[1:26:35] so we'll see what happens we'll also see what happens your next question is going to be the weapons we
[1:26:39] want the weapons to be uh given up sacrificed and they've agreed to do it now they have to do it if
[1:26:45] they don't do it we'll do it today suggests that hamas needs to hurry up and and disarm and follow your
[1:26:53] conference plan that was the head of cencom saying that is that not a signal to hamas to the rest of
[1:26:58] the world that at some point the u.s military more made more directly engaged we won't need the u.s
[1:27:03] military we won't need it because we're very much involved in it if we weren't involved there wouldn't
[1:27:09] be peace if we didn't uh destroy the nuclear capability of iran that deal would have never
[1:27:17] happened for two reasons the arab nations would not have felt bold enough to do it because you have
[1:27:22] uh a very powerful at that time iran it's not powerful anymore between what we what israel and
[1:27:28] us did because you know the attack was was if you look at it we helped them very much they will be the
[1:27:34] first to tell you including shooting down thousands of drones that were coming into israel you know we
[1:27:39] shot them down we were shooting them down like uh it was target practice but we shot down thousands
[1:27:45] of drones and missiles also going into israel but between what we did to iran that way with the
[1:27:53] you know conventional we will call it and what that beauty see that beautiful plane that b2 i noticed it
[1:27:58] on the desk i always thought it was beautiful but i never understood it now i understand it took in
[1:28:05] hundreds of thousands of bombs in the form of two but hundreds of thousands of pounds of bombs
[1:28:11] and every single bomb hit perfectly then they sent tomahawks and they sent 30 tomahawks on top of it
[1:28:18] and that was totally you know cnn said well maybe it wasn't as bad as you know as trump said because
[1:28:24] i said obliterated uh obliterated is not a strong enough word actually and you saw the atomic energy
[1:28:31] commission came out and said the word obliteration is very very they think of it they came in under
[1:28:38] potential fire they entered iran airspace late at night in the dark no moon the moon was low for a
[1:28:46] reason was the one time we picked it couldn't see anything and they hit every target and they weren't
[1:28:52] hit nobody saw that plane that plane is stealth nobody said the problem with that is it may be stealth
[1:28:58] today but tomorrow it won't be and we just ordered about 20 brand new b2 bombers it's unbelievable as a
[1:29:06] weapon i know putin when i was uh riding with him in alaska we passed a lot of them and he said that
[1:29:12] really did the trick i said yeah it did it's amazing the flying wing it's no reason for the u.s
[1:29:18] military to get involved in gaza no i don't see that no i think we're going to handle it very well
[1:29:23] we'll be helping israel but we have other countries that are now you know we signed many many countries
[1:29:28] signed and many of those countries relatively are very strong military powers and hamas has no support
[1:29:35] see hamas had the support of iran and now iran says don't get us involved the last time they got
[1:29:41] them involved didn't work out too well so they used to have the support of iran today iran is
[1:29:48] they're trying to survive you know when i heard the reports two weeks ago iran's looking to build
[1:29:54] a nuclear weapon i said don't worry about it they got a lot of things they want to do before nuclear
[1:29:58] weapons i said the last thing they want to do is a nuclear weapon it didn't work out and if they did
[1:30:04] a nuclear weapon before they got even close uh that site would be attacked and it would be wiped
[1:30:09] out mr president you're meeting with president xi in a few weeks yeah if you can't come to an
[1:30:15] agreement or a deal at that meeting are we in for a sustained trade war with china well you're in one
[1:30:21] now look we have a hundred percent tariff if we didn't have tariffs we would be exposed as being a
[1:30:30] nothing we would have no defense you know they've used tariffs on us but we've never had anybody
[1:30:36] sitting in that chair that felt the need to do it and and they've allowed us to be 37 trillion dollars
[1:30:44] in debt etc etc we uh tariffs are a very important tool for our defense for our national security if
[1:30:52] we don't have tariffs we're not going to have national security as an example uh if you look at
[1:30:58] pakistan and iran i told them i was in the midst of negotiating a trade deal with actually with iran
[1:31:05] and pakistan was going to be in line and because of tariffs they all want to negotiate much differently
[1:31:12] we're making a good deal and then i heard that they're shooting at each other and i said during
[1:31:17] one of my conversations are you guys going to go to war two nuclear powers we are thinking about i said
[1:31:23] here's the deal you go to war i'm going to put a 200 tariff i'm going to stop you from doing any
[1:31:28] business in the united states i said it to both of them within 24 hours the war ended that would
[1:31:34] have been a nuclear war and again the prime minister of pakistan who was here two weeks ago said that
[1:31:40] that man saved many millions of lives in front of a whole group of people because he thought it was
[1:31:46] going to be war but when it came to war or having to pay massive tariffs the tariffs overrode that's why
[1:31:53] it's so important not only the money we're taking in trillions of dollars not only the money the power
[1:31:59] to keep peace the power to be used for good is enormous but uh a lot of people didn't understand
[1:32:07] tariffs it's also made us very rich we have a big case coming up in the supreme court and i will tell
[1:32:13] you that's one of the most important cases in the history of our country because if we don't win that
[1:32:19] case we will be a uh weakened troubled financial mess for many many years to come i don't even know
[1:32:29] if survivable you know survivable is is a good term uh and if we do we're going to be the most powerful
[1:32:36] economic country in the world and all we're doing is using them as a defense against what's what took
[1:32:43] place for many years china would charge us tariffs it was incredible but we weren't allowed to charge
[1:32:48] and we were so we're allowed to do whatever we want we just had presidents that didn't want to do
[1:32:52] it for whatever reason and it was nothing but of the eight wars i was saying seven of the eight wars
[1:32:59] i would say tariffs are respond directly responsible for me ending six of them five or six without the
[1:33:08] tariffs you have wars raging all over the world with the tariffs other than russia we have no wars out
[1:33:14] there and uh we've made a lot of good friends too tariffs are so important to our new our national
[1:33:24] security if we don't have tariffs we don't have national security our country would would suffer
[1:33:32] a level that because they use so strongly on us as an example european union they won't take our cars
[1:33:40] they won't take our agriculture they won't take anything but they send their cars in mercedes bmw
[1:33:46] volkswagen by the millions we don't send any cars they don't take them they were tariffing us out
[1:33:52] uh agricultural products they don't take our agriculture they want their farmers to do it i
[1:33:56] understand that but it was very unfair and they were tariffing our product they're keeping out by
[1:34:02] using tariffs and we didn't use it but i used them and now we made one of the great deals with your
[1:34:08] 650 billion dollars they pay us and uh we've evened it out it's really a good thing to see and
[1:34:16] you have to understand they've all signed japan south korea i mean south korea 350 billion dollars
[1:34:22] up front uh japan 650 billion dollars and they've all agreed to it they're all happy but before it
[1:34:31] was a total ripoff and if we don't have the use of tariffs we have no national security this country
[1:34:37] will have no financial security will not have national security and the people that brought the
[1:34:42] lawsuit are people that are aligned with foreign nations that are now being treated fairly as
[1:34:49] opposed to just ripping us off and ripping us asunder so if but if we don't if we are not allowed to use
[1:34:56] what other people use against us there's no defense it would be a disaster for america that's why i think
[1:35:02] i'm going to go to the supreme court to watch it i've not done that and i had some pretty big cases this
[1:35:08] is i think it's i think it's one of the most important cases ever brought because uh we will
[1:35:15] be defenseless against the world okay did you have one yes please thank you mr president um i want to
[1:35:25] ask you about the georgia senate race i know it's very early but there's several republicans in that
[1:35:29] field that are vying for your endorsement a lot of good people in that field yes no i know all of them
[1:35:33] actually i haven't made a decision on that but you have some very good people in the georgia senate
[1:35:39] race well governor has endorsed no no the governor has he's spoken to me about it a lot he likes
[1:35:46] that candidate a lot and uh i understand that i haven't made a decision yet but i'm following that
[1:35:53] race very carefully i think it's very important for georgia to get a real senator because the senator
[1:35:57] they have now is a horrible senator he he allows all the crime all the borders you have open borders i mean
[1:36:04] his whole philosophy is a disaster that's not representative of the people of georgia i know
[1:36:08] the people of georgia i won georgia three times but they say twice okay i wanted very big the last
[1:36:16] time and i wanted big the first time and i wanted big the second time but we had criminals that didn't
[1:36:22] allow i mean they i hope they're going to go into that i hope they go into the votes which are being
[1:36:27] stored in fulton county and take a look at a real look at those votes okay because i wanted the second
[1:36:33] time too but i know georgia very well i love georgia those people are great and they deserve a good
[1:36:38] senator because the man they have now is a weak ineffective person okay by the way you won georgia
[1:36:50] three times just yeah i agree do you agree with me i do and he's the media for someone that he's
[1:36:55] the media spends a lot of time in georgia i believe you won that uh i really have a question
[1:36:59] but you know the word believe isn't strong enough right you know there you go it's true i know i want
[1:37:05] to i oh we have the great newt gingrich newt you agree with us good otherwise i'd have him dismissed
[1:37:11] immediately from you know his wife as you know is becoming an ambassador to a great country
[1:37:16] calista so congratulations and we're going to take a picture and uh the only reason i'm doing he speaks
[1:37:23] so well of me he said i'll go down as the greatest president in history and then he blew it he said i'm not
[1:37:29] sure if i put him above washington or lincoln so i'm not that happy about that dude i've got a
[1:37:37] question about the weaponization of the doj the media often says your department is weaponizing the
[1:37:43] doj that's the opposite it's the opposite todd you represented president trump and probably the
[1:37:48] greatest weaponization uh of the doj by alvin bragg you know firsthand if you can describe what you
[1:37:55] saw under the biden administration and how they weaponized the doj well i mean i think it's hard to
[1:38:02] describe what happened in the last four years after president trump alvin bragg a local prosecutor
[1:38:10] his office staffed by some of the years jack smith picked as a special counsel staffs his entire office
[1:38:17] of doj prosecutors and then there are countless things that happen all all in writing most of them on the
[1:38:24] docket that require no explanation except a complete abomination of the place of the attorney
[1:38:30] almighty now and the director itself so when people talk about this department weaponizing
[1:38:36] it's embarrassing because there's no scenario to which you can look at what we're doing restoring
[1:38:41] justice doing the right thing in every single case and say that that's weaponization and yet remain
[1:38:49] eerily silent about what happened for the past three years and we read these articles and giggle because it
[1:38:55] cannot be true that people really think that what they did to him not once not twice i'm still
[1:39:02] counting three four times but we're the ones that are weaponizing so this man is not weaponizing the
[1:39:08] department of justice we're not weaponizing the department of justice it's the opposite i mean and also
[1:39:13] nobody questions what i'm saying because it's true because we all lived the past four years so listen
[1:39:19] they never want to bring up the details but i i watch the fake news and oh he's weaponized and he
[1:39:27] wants to send them to prison he wants all they they indicted me like five times i took a mug shot
[1:39:36] who would have thought it turned out to my favor because it was a good shot but i had to take a mug
[1:39:41] shot it's right out there in the door new york post front page of the every paper in the world
[1:39:47] i had a mug shot they wanted to send me nobody says that they say he's acting very very tough he's
[1:39:53] acting unfair let me tell you if they've been nice to anybody it's to those criminals because they
[1:40:01] are so good having to do with all of the things we're talking about today with violent crime but
[1:40:06] if anything i think this justice department has been so respectful of the law because the other justice
[1:40:13] department with rita or lisa and all of that scum real scum what they did to the political opponent of
[1:40:23] a guy that has a seriously low ikea now in his case it was it was low based on his career but it got real
[1:40:33] low okay it was descending rapidly but what they did to go after his political opponent is legendary
[1:40:44] worse than any third world country banana republic and what we're doing is nothing are you kidding
[1:40:53] nothing they write stories why aren't they doing this this and we'll leave i don't have to leave it
[1:41:01] up to them but i choose to at this moment at least but there's never been anybody treated in the history
[1:41:08] of politics you know they say the two worst treated presidents by the media etc was that man right there
[1:41:15] the late great abraham lincoln and this grant right there andrew jackson they say andrew jackson was treated
[1:41:25] terribly they give him number one and number two but that was before i came along newt i say i have
[1:41:30] number one times ten nobody's been uh and make better the white house and that's really what's
[1:41:37] happened and we're getting tremendous reviews and we appreciate it but we're here for a different
[1:41:43] reason it's called operation summer heat which is an appropriate term in light of what we're doing
[1:41:49] and early yesterday morning i returned from the middle east where we celebrated a historic agreement
[1:41:55] to end years of suffering and conflict amazing every country came together i mean even the enemies
[1:42:02] came out and and totally endorsed it everybody i've never seen anything like it nobody's seen anything
[1:42:06] like it and just as we are forging peace and stability abroad we're also restoring peace and
[1:42:12] safety and stability at home and you see that in washington dc may be better than any place because we
[1:42:19] got there and within 12 days it was it was very good and within 30 days it's been as safe as any
[1:42:25] city in the country it's been great took out 1700 people got them out these are career criminals in
[1:42:31] many cases and people that shouldn't have been allowed in by the biden administration historically
[1:42:36] the summer months have been a time when violent crime soar as you know but not under president trump
[1:42:43] today we're announcing the results of a sweeping law enforcement effort known as operation summer heat
[1:42:49] we were in many cities that people didn't know about we kept it a little quiet and uh it had a big
[1:42:55] impact and you'll hear that in a second but over the past few months fbi offices in all 50 states made
[1:43:01] crushing violent crime a top enforcement priority that's what they did rounding up and arresting
[1:43:08] thousands of the most violent and dangerous criminals and these are among the most dangerous and
[1:43:13] violent people in the world they were allowed in many cases not in all cases but in many cases they were
[1:43:19] allowed in by a very foolish actually stupid open border policy just anybody could have come in
[1:43:26] they emptied out their jails their prisons their mental institutions they emptied them into our country
[1:43:32] and the people behind me have done an incredible job because
[1:43:34] uh if we didn't have that administration it would have been so much easier they allowed millions of
[1:43:41] people in this country that shouldn't have been allowed including over 11 000 murderers half of whom
[1:43:46] murdered more than one person and many of them are gone now or they're put in prison because we're
[1:43:52] we don't want to have them come back so we literally put them in our prison which we don't want to do
[1:43:57] but we bring them back to their countries working with state and local partners the fbi arrested
[1:44:03] over 8 000 violent criminals during the course of this period in major cities like in new orleans nashville
[1:44:09] we saw 250 percent increase in arrests we got uh and we really went after the bad ones these include
[1:44:18] 725 individuals wanted for violent crimes against children and murderers these arrests are in addition
[1:44:26] to the work of our historic federal task forces that uh make dc safe task force has been unbelievable i
[1:44:34] mean the job they've done it's incredible and it's been so nice because so many people they're going
[1:44:40] out to dinner and they're having dinners they wouldn't they didn't go out for four years and now
[1:44:46] they're going out three times a week the restaurants are opening restaurants are full and usually that
[1:44:53] means a lot of good things but restaurants that were closed are now opening up and everybody's happy
[1:44:58] it's uh nobody's ever seen anything like it actually and everybody feels safe you can you can have a
[1:45:03] child walk right through the middle of washington dc and nothing's going to happen we were losing more
[1:45:08] than one person a week and why they're being killed on an average of over one a week the make dc safe task
[1:45:17] force has been incredible and to make memphis safe task force is having very similar results it's much
[1:45:25] earlier but we've been there for a week and a half but i'm hearing the results are pretty incredible and
[1:45:29] you'll hear about that they're mobilizing more than 20 federal agencies for the largest law enforcement
[1:45:35] operation targeting violent criminals in american history as a result of these efforts violent crime
[1:45:41] declined nearly 20 percent nationwide compared to the same period last year and it was the safest
[1:45:47] and most peaceful peaceful summer in two decades and honestly we haven't really even gotten going
[1:45:52] yet if we didn't have to fight all of these radical left governors we could have had chicago taken care
[1:45:57] of as an example they had in a short period of time 4 000 murders in chicago and we have to listen to
[1:46:04] this man stand up and say that we're bad people and the people of chicago are walking around with mega hats you
[1:46:10] have women beautiful black women walking around with mega hats please let the president in and we don't
[1:46:17] care how he does it they're not interested in national guard or army navy bring them in marines bring in
[1:46:25] the marines they just want the crime to stop and more so because of the success that we had in dc
[1:46:31] i think if we didn't have that success nobody would even believe it so i want to congratulate all of the
[1:46:37] incredible law enforcement professionals joining us today especially attorney general pam bondi is
[1:46:43] terrific deputy attorney general todd blanche who is uh a fantastic legal talent he really is he's a
[1:46:53] great guy too and of course fbi director cash patel they have worked so hard on this and other things
[1:47:00] since the start of the administration the fbi has arrested over 23 000 violent criminals more than
[1:47:05] double the number arrested in the final year of the biden disaster the fbi has also destroyed or
[1:47:14] severely disrupted more than 170 organized criminal enterprises and gangs 1600 of the most violent gangs
[1:47:23] and confiscated over 6 000 illegal firearms and they've tracked down and arrested four fugitives on the
[1:47:30] most wanted list four of the most wanted actually two of them were the most wanted
[1:47:36] fugitives in the world there's still much more work to be done which is why the fbi continues to work
[1:47:42] alongside the department of justice the department of homeland security and the department of war
[1:47:48] to defend and pete hegseth has been fantastic by the way on this too on other things but on this too
[1:47:55] to defend law and order and combat violent crime arrest illegal aliens and make american cities the safest in
[1:48:02] the world and when i campaigned i talked about crime but i never knew that we were going to get into it
[1:48:08] like we did you know i mean i used to watch these cities with the murders chicago recently had one
[1:48:15] deal where they had 11 murders in one weekend and they said well yeah but it was a holiday weekend they
[1:48:20] actually told me that was the reason like it was okay because it was a holiday it was labor day
[1:48:25] these people are the worst they are they really have to they better i tell you what the the people in
[1:48:31] chicago and the people in places like that that could be fixed at some point it gets to where you
[1:48:36] can't fix it anymore it's too far gone and we have some cities like that but these are great cities that
[1:48:42] could be fixed i'm going to be strongly recommending at the request of government officials which is
[1:48:48] always nice that you start looking at san francisco i think we can make san francisco there's one of our
[1:48:55] great cities 10 years ago 15 years ago now it's a mess and we have great support in san francisco
[1:49:01] so i'd like to recommend that for inclusion maybe in your next group you'll get great support every
[1:49:07] american deserves to live in a community where they're not afraid of being mugged murdered robbed
[1:49:12] raped assaulted or shot and that's exactly what our administration is working to deliver
[1:49:18] i didn't realize i was going to make this such a big factor in the administration i didn't really
[1:49:22] campaign i campaigned on crime but i never thought we'd go into every city and take a really safe
[1:49:28] city that we've all been living with for years and make them safe and now it's like a passion for
[1:49:34] me and it's a passion for the people behind me so i didn't get elected i did get elected for
[1:49:40] crime but i didn't get elected for what we're doing this is many many steps above and i want to thank
[1:49:46] steven miller who's right back in the audience right there i'd love to have him i love watching him
[1:49:51] on television i'd love to have him come up and explain his true feelings but maybe not his truest
[1:49:58] feelings that might be going a little bit too far but steven thank you for doing an unbelievable job
[1:50:03] and the people of this country love you i'll tell you and they love what you say about crime and
[1:50:07] stopping crime so now i'd like to ask director i'd like to ask director patel to say a few words and
[1:50:15] then pam and todd also and i just want to congratulate them this is an amazing thing and we're just at the
[1:50:22] start we're going to go into other cities that we're not talking about purposely we're getting ready to go
[1:50:27] in and when they go in like cash is an example told me that people didn't even know five months
[1:50:32] ago they went into chicago and they started doing a lot of work in chicago and we brought the the
[1:50:38] numbers down a little bit and uh but that really was just preparatory work for what we're going to
[1:50:45] do with the surge we're going to have a surge of uh strong good people patriots and they're going to go
[1:50:52] in they straighten it all out so uh a lot of these cities we're already working on but we don't do
[1:50:58] it with a big a big flavor but in a little while you're going to see some numbers that you're not
[1:51:02] going to believe and i think you'll probably start with memphis because i'm hearing the numbers are
[1:51:07] much quicker than we even thought possible uh but uh again dc is it speaks for itself chicago is going to
[1:51:14] be okay we're going to save chicago and i told you and i told them a very respected man the head of the
[1:51:20] union pacific said sir save chicago it can be saved and the way he said it was like can you believe it
[1:51:27] we're trying to save chicago but i understood exactly what he wants and that's what we're going
[1:51:32] to do we're going to save all of our cities and we're going to make them essentially crime free
[1:51:37] like other countries have crime free if you go all over the world you go to the world you hear
[1:51:43] afghanistan and you hear all these different places uh our crime in certain cities is worse than
[1:51:48] anything they can even imagine and we're not going to have that any longer it's going to stop and it
[1:51:53] stops right here cash please thank you mr president what i'd like to do is just highlight some of the
[1:51:58] outstanding work that the men and women of the fbi have been doing and thanks to your brave leadership
[1:52:02] and the mandate you were given by the american people not only defend the homeland but crush violent
[1:52:06] crime you tasked us with our great partners at the department of justice and the attorney general
[1:52:10] and the deputy attorney general to start making arrests and bring prosecutions and safeguard our cities
[1:52:15] and you said it this is just the beginning in just seven months i hope the media takes a look at
[1:52:20] every one of these charts because these are the best numbers for fighting crime in u.s history and it's
[1:52:26] only seven months in and to do that our vehicle to do it of choice was operation summer heat which the fbi
[1:52:32] architected to go after violent criminals and in just a three month span you had 8 700 arrests of violent
[1:52:39] criminals you had 2200 firearms seized off the streets permanently to safeguard our communities
[1:52:46] you had 421 kilograms of fentanyl seized just to put that in perspective that's enough to kill 55
[1:52:53] million americans alone you had 45 000 kilograms of cocaine seized and thanks to our department of
[1:53:00] justice partners you had 2100 indictments in three months from june to september alone mr president that
[1:53:08] in and of itself would be historic for a four-year presidency you did that in seven months because
[1:53:13] you let good cops be cops and you partnered us with the right people the department of justice
[1:53:17] to put the handcuffs on and bring them to court and put them in prison and if that weren't enough
[1:53:22] when you look at the year for the entire seven month period that we're talking about here if you look
[1:53:26] at the past four years of the biden administration 16 000 17 000 15 000 15 000 that's the number of arrests
[1:53:34] year over year of violent felons in this country for the biden administration mr president in seven
[1:53:40] months you have 27 28 600 arrests of violent feminists in just seven months alone because of your
[1:53:47] leadership and the dedication of the men and women at the fbi who want to go out there and do the job
[1:53:52] they were prevented from doing because that department used to be weaponized and politicized
[1:53:57] and this is what happens when you take out the fangs of weaponization this number is historic by every
[1:54:02] metric 28 000 people have been arrested violent felons alone and then when you go over there
[1:54:07] and look at some of these charts if you don't mind i'll just hop over here look at the metrics
[1:54:14] for not just by the crime but the homeland mr president during your administration the sbi has found
[1:54:20] and located 5 400 children that is a 30 increase year to date over the last administration violent
[1:54:29] crimes against children arrest alone are up 10 percent gang arrests are up 210 in the last seven
[1:54:36] months alone and transnational organized crime which stephen miller has been a great partner in
[1:54:41] is up over 12 percent alone these numbers are historic just as a snapshot but just so people don't think
[1:54:48] we're focusing on violent crime alone the national security mission mr president your leadership has
[1:54:53] never been stronger we have gone after espionage activities against our main counterparts in china
[1:54:59] russia and iran in china alone we've had over a 50 percent increase in espionage of arrests alone
[1:55:06] in prosecution in iran we have had a 50 percent increase again in espionage cases and in russia we've had
[1:55:14] a 33 increase in espionage cases alone when it comes to counterterrorism year to date we have 125 arrests
[1:55:22] this year versus 100 last year year to date alone and when it comes to the cyber criminal activities which
[1:55:27] are some of the largest enterprises plaguing everyday americans we at the fbi have put out a mission to go
[1:55:34] after cyber criminals like never before last year they had in total 191 this year you already have 252
[1:55:42] arrests 52 arrests of violent cyber criminals who are stealing from senior citizens who are violating
[1:55:48] our children's rights and freedoms and who are violating everyday americans these programs are record and
[1:55:55] some of the two of the things i'll finish with that i'm most proud mr president this fbi fentanyl as
[1:56:00] you know it's a scourge that's killing our youth 100 000 plus a year to date the fbi has seized
[1:56:05] 1900 kilograms of fentanyl that's enough lethal doses to kill 127 million americans alone to date and if
[1:56:14] that weren't enough mr president you said we have to go after the worst of the worst and you empowered our
[1:56:20] department of justice our attorney general deputy attorney general and the deputy director at the fbi led the
[1:56:25] charge not just on summer heat but he also led the charge to the fbi's 10 most wanted fugitives
[1:56:30] these people have been on the run for years and in seven months you captured not one not two not
[1:56:36] three but four of the fbi's most top ten fugitives four and just to put that in perspective mr
[1:56:42] president the biden administration captured four in all four years you're on seven and we're going to
[1:56:46] get to ten we're going to get the ten of ten this includes a lady who murdered her six-year-old
[1:56:50] handicapped child and fled indian we got her in two months this includes a narco trafficker this
[1:56:56] includes a sex trafficker this includes another first three murder and gangbang these people were
[1:57:01] on the run because of the prior administration's reckless policies that destroyed our communities and
[1:57:06] you came in and with mandates and go after the worst of the worst this is just the beginning this is
[1:57:11] what happens when you let big cops and good cops at the fbi mr president i just want to thank you for
[1:57:16] your incredible leadership our brave partnership with prosecutors who know how to bring cases and
[1:57:22] make sure these arrests stick and that's what the attorney general and the deputy attorney general have
[1:57:26] led the charge across this country because arrests without prosecutions are meaningless we are deterring
[1:57:31] criminals from doing this activity we are preventing criminals from coming into america and we are
[1:57:36] absolutely crushing violent crime that level before and defending this homeless sir and not to mention i almost
[1:57:42] forgot this one it took you sir two weeks to get the aggregate bomber joe biden had four years to
[1:57:47] look for him you got him in two weeks next to the interagency cia went to pakistan and found 13 brave warriors
[1:57:54] who were sent to see murder because of the disaster they have justice their families have a peace of mind
[1:57:59] and we're going to continue to find the others mr president on behalf of the fbi sir i just want to thank you
[1:58:04] thank you very much great job very good very impressive
[1:58:07] panel president trump the the men and women of law enforcement say two things to me repeatedly
[1:58:15] first you have taken the handcuffs off them and let them do their jobs and you let cops be cops
[1:58:23] that's why all this is happening the director the deputy director are working around the clock all of
[1:58:30] these great men and women in the fbi they have think about they have families at home and they are
[1:58:35] working during a government shutdown right now many of them have small children many of them i was
[1:58:40] talking to an agent this morning many of them have babies at home and they are working around the clock
[1:58:47] to not only keep our country but our world safe and that's what operation summer heat did thank you
[1:58:53] director and to the deputy director for everything you did on behalf of the department of justice and
[1:58:58] you're going to continue to keep doing and they set the stage for what we're doing in memphis you're
[1:59:05] going to hear a lot more about that our joint task force next week but they set the stage for memphis
[1:59:11] and last night alone in memphis there were almost 70 arrests there were 12 guns seized and there was a
[1:59:18] 70 year old man arrested as a result of our operation in memphis who raped a child under the age of three
[1:59:25] that one case makes everything we're doing worthwhile so thank you all for being here on
[1:59:30] behalf of both of us thank you president trump thank you todd you want to say something sure thank you
[1:59:35] thank you mr president so this is a great day and i think there's stats that the director talked about
[1:59:41] which are important but i want to give two examples of what summer heat has done that that actually will
[1:59:47] apply hopefully to everybody in this room the first is for over four years during the last administration
[1:59:54] there was a hotel in a town the middle of a town in alaska that was being run as a drug den there
[2:00:01] were over one thousand calls to 9-1-1 over four four and a half year period there were multiple violent
[2:00:11] crimes drug dealers overdoses and murders at this one hotel ruining a community summer heat went in
[2:00:19] there it's not only arrested all the participants that were controlling the hotel but seized the hotel and so
[2:00:25] that's that's one example of what summer heat means to everyday americans that just want to live in
[2:00:29] peace the second example is is a large narcotics trafficking group that was selling fentanyl in the
[2:00:35] state of washington they were shipping fentanyl and using commercial aircraft putting fentanyl pills and powder
[2:00:43] onto come in suitcases flying them from the southwest border mostly arizona all the way to washington it had
[2:00:51] been going on for an extremely long time and the entire organization was arrested and i i say those
[2:00:56] two examples because it's easy to look at the board and see a thousand arrests how much different is our
[2:01:01] communities now compared to the past four years but there's actual life examples every one of these arrests
[2:01:08] means that our streets are safer and that's that's because of the work of this administration of
[2:01:13] president trump and and director patel so i will tell you attorney general bondi and i
[2:01:17] um are together every day with with director patel uh figuring out ways that we can continue to do
[2:01:23] this work and and it's it's not going to stop like like the attorney general said and like the
[2:01:27] president said this is just the beginning or phase one or a start whatever you want to say
[2:01:32] but it will continue on so so thank you mr president thank you very much director patel
[2:01:37] mr president just one last thank you for the men and women at the fbi you found a way to get these
[2:01:41] individuals paid during a government shutdown our 1811 agents on behalf of the fbi it's a great
[2:01:47] debt that we owe you sir they're now allowed to pay for their families so thank you and the military
[2:01:51] that's right thank you okay thank you very much any questions please brian first of all i know the
[2:02:00] feedback i'm getting from the american people but they want to say thank you law and order is not an
[2:02:04] option in this country it's a mandate so i know the american people thank you for that in terms of the
[2:02:09] guns that have been taken off the street do you have a number of how many guns were taken away from
[2:02:14] someone that had a prior felony or a previous crime that perhaps we can prosecute that because i know
[2:02:20] that wasn't the case of a joe biden we don't take guns off the streets of people that are allowed to
[2:02:25] have guns so every gun that we're taking off the street is because it belongs to somebody who is not
[2:02:30] allowed to have it could be a felon could be somebody who hears illegally there's all sorts of
[2:02:34] conditions but we if there's a gun taken off the streets by the fbi it's because the person who has
[2:02:39] it is not allowed to it's not somebody who's lawfully allowed to have it so every single one of those guns
[2:02:44] we're taking off of people that aren't all down and and not including the fbi all of the other
[2:02:48] agencies atf alone since january 20th has removed over 25 000 illegal guns off our streets just since
[2:02:57] president trump's been in office and mr president if i could follow up on that could there be any further
[2:03:01] conversation to have uh national concealed carry applied to our actual dc uh like if you had a driver's
[2:03:09] license in texas and you had a permit of course you could drive well they're talking as you know they've
[2:03:13] been talking about that for a long time it's a it's an interesting question a lot of people feel
[2:03:17] strongly both ways but we are talking about that brian thank you mr president on venezuelan's votes
[2:03:24] i want to ask you why not have the coast guard stopped them which it is empowered by a lot to do
[2:03:30] you know this way you can confirm who's on the boat and ensure that they're doing what they what you
[2:03:35] suspect because we've been doing that for 30 years and it has been totally ineffective
[2:03:39] uh they have faster boats some of these boats are seriously i mean they're world-class speed boats
[2:03:47] and but they're not faster than missiles but we've been trying to do that for years and so much of the
[2:03:53] drugs 25 30 percent would come in through the seas right now we have i would say none coming in through
[2:03:59] the seas in fact i don't know about the fishing industry if you want to go fishing a lot of people
[2:04:03] aren't deciding to even go fishing we've almost totally stopped it by sea now we'll stop it by
[2:04:10] land but it never worked it never worked when when you know when you did it in a very politically
[2:04:16] correct manner what's the next step in this war on cartels and are you considering options are you
[2:04:21] considering strikes on land well i don't want to tell you exactly but we are certainly looking at land
[2:04:26] now because we've got the sea very well under control uh we've had a couple of days where there isn't a
[2:04:32] boat to be found then that i view that as a good thing not a bad thing but we had tremendous amounts
[2:04:37] coming in by boats by very expensive boats you know they have a lot of money very fast very expensive
[2:04:43] boats that were pretty big and the way you look at it is every boat that we knock out we save 25 000
[2:04:49] american lives so every time you see a boat and you feel badly you say wow that's rough it is rough but
[2:04:56] if you lose three people and save 25 000 people these are people that are killing
[2:05:01] our population every boat is saving 25 000 lives and you can see it the boats get hit and you see
[2:05:07] that fentanyl all over the ocean it's like floating in bags it's all over the place and it's uh
[2:05:15] it's a tremendous state we're saving tremendous amounts of lives
[2:05:19] yeah i know you've talked about i have a question for you and then i also have a question for
[2:05:23] director patel i know you talked about having some uh distaste for boston recently is this one of the
[2:05:30] cities that you might be looking into and can you give us a hint about other cities that you might
[2:05:33] be you're saying for where for where for boston yeah well boston has a a bad mayor who at least is a
[2:05:41] reasonable iq person you know most of them are low iq but uh and they're so bad i mean what's going on
[2:05:47] in chicago is just you'd think the guy would say hey look we have a problem mr president could you
[2:05:53] come in and straighten it out i could have that we could have that done in a month if we had their
[2:05:57] cooperation it's going to be done anyway but we could have it done in a month yeah boston she's
[2:06:02] got four areas that are you know wrong and you know somebody said would we take would we think
[2:06:08] about taking the world cup away from boston if they don't straighten it out the answer is yes we
[2:06:13] have the right to do that with fifa so if we think that la is going to be bad or we think uh that applies
[2:06:19] a little bit to the olympics too but we'll talk about fifa first you know fifa is very hot if we think
[2:06:25] there's any reason that whether it's boston or anywhere else that they're not doing their job
[2:06:30] we're going to take that those world cup games and move them someplace else thank you and then
[2:06:35] director patel there's been so many conspiracy theories swirling around about the assassination
[2:06:40] of charlie kirk do you have any updates for us especially in light of all the online content that
[2:06:44] everyone's been talking about the only thing we deal with at the fbi and the department of justice is
[2:06:48] facts and we delivered in record speed a manhunt to capture charlie kirk's alleged
[2:06:52] assassination in 33 hours and if you put that in perspective to luigi mangione with a boston
[2:06:57] bomber they took them five days and a police officer lost their life in their manhunt we are running out
[2:07:01] absolutely every single lead and the best thing we can do to honor my friend charlie kirk's life
[2:07:05] is to make sure that everyone involved is prosecuted to the full extent of the law and that's what we're
[2:07:10] focused on investigating the facts not trading and conspiracy theories okay mr president thank you so much
[2:07:16] thank you uh in light of china's export curbs on rare earths do you view india as a reliable partner
[2:07:23] going forward and uh are you planning to meet prime minister modi in malaysia um are you open to talks
[2:07:30] in terms of yeah sure he's a friend of mine we have a great relationship he just said that two days ago as
[2:07:35] you know we have a great relationship no we were not happy with him buying oil from russia because that
[2:07:42] lets russia continue on with this ridiculous war where they've lost a million and a half people by the
[2:07:46] way russia has lost a million and a half people soldiers mostly this is a war that should have
[2:07:52] never started but it's a war that russia should have won in the first week and they're going into
[2:07:57] the fourth year and i want to see it stop so i was not happy that india was buying oil and he assured
[2:08:04] me today that they will not be buying oil from russia that's a big stop now i got to get china to do the
[2:08:11] same thing you know that that is relatively easy compared to what we just did over the last
[2:08:17] week in the middle east middle east was three thousand years and we got it done this is three
[2:08:23] years uh and i think we'll get it done i think that putin president putin i think is going to
[2:08:29] i think he wants to get it done we'll see there's a great animosity between him and zielinski you
[2:08:34] probably have noticed right and it's uh i think it's hurting the process yeah yeah please thank you
[2:08:41] curious why did you authorize the cia to go into venezuela
[2:08:45] and is there more information you can share about these strikes on the alleged well i can't do
[2:08:50] that but i authorized for two reasons really number one they have emptied their prisons into the united
[2:08:56] states of america they came in through the uh well they came in through the border they came in because
[2:09:03] we had an open border policy and as soon as i heard that i said a lot of these countries they're not the
[2:09:08] only country but they're the worst abuser and they've entered there they've they've allowed
[2:09:14] thousands and thousands of prisoners mental institution people from mental institutions insane
[2:09:20] asylums emptied out into the united states we're bringing them back but that's a really bad and they
[2:09:26] did it at a level that probably not many many countries have done it but not like venezuela they
[2:09:31] were down and dirty and the other thing are drugs we have a lot of drugs coming in from venezuela and a
[2:09:36] lot of the venezuelan drugs coming through the sea so you get to see that but we're going to stop
[2:09:41] them by land also does the cia have authority to take out maduro oh i don't want to answer a question
[2:09:47] like that that's a ridiculous question for me to be given not really a ridiculous question but wouldn't
[2:09:52] it be a ridiculous question for me to answer but i think venezuela is feeling heat but i think a lot of
[2:09:58] other countries are feeling heat too we're not going to let this country our country be ruined because
[2:10:04] other people want to drop as you say their worst they they have given us their worst they've loaded
[2:10:10] up our country with prisoners with with mentally ill people that are seriously ill criminally ill and
[2:10:18] we're not going to take it and so i mean it's just one of those things and i can tell you we've taken
[2:10:23] care of the sea there's nobody and we're watching we're watching and if we see it we'll save it yeah please
[2:10:29] on the ships though sir there are republicans and democrats up on the hill concerned that in
[2:10:34] the briefings they've gotten about those attacks they're not necessarily getting information about
[2:10:39] who was on them and what exactly was on those ships can you well but they are given information that
[2:10:45] they were loaded up with drugs and that's the thing that matters when they're loaded up with drugs
[2:10:49] they're fair game and every one of those ships were they're not ships they're they're boats they're
[2:10:54] speed boats they're extremely fast record-setting type speed boats that cost a lot of money and they
[2:11:00] have a lot of money because they're drug sellers but uh they know one thing and they all have the same
[2:11:06] thing in common there's uh there's drug dust they call it drug dust they call it fentanyl dust
[2:11:13] all over the boat after those bombs go off and you you can take a long
[2:11:19] we know we know before we know when they go out we know we have uh much information about each
[2:11:25] boat that goes out deep strong information yeah please sir you're gonna have one year's list here
[2:11:32] this week what is your message at this stage of the war for him and shy of to who is that
[2:11:38] before zelinski yeah shy of tom oxford ukraine are you considering other options and will
[2:11:44] you speak with no we're looking at other options we are uh president zelinski is coming in i'm not a
[2:11:52] fan of the war i'm not a fan of the way it started it should have never happened it wouldn't have started
[2:11:57] if i were president the election was rigged and uh because of that we lost a lot of lives have been
[2:12:03] lost because of that we're not american lives but if i can save a lot of lives that's why i'm in it
[2:12:08] i want to save lives i've i've had uh eight wars the prime minister of pakistan got up the other
[2:12:15] day said so beautifully says you saved millions of lives he told that to a group of people right
[2:12:20] in this office he said the president saved millions of lives and i think what he's referring to is the
[2:12:25] fact that that would have been with india nuclear war that was getting very close you know seven
[2:12:30] planes they don't talk about it but seven aircraft were shot in fact we have the new ambassador to india
[2:12:36] right here they're well represented you better represent us not them okay but sergio is going
[2:12:44] to do a great job he's going to do a great job but no we'll be talking about the war with with him and
[2:12:49] we'll be talking about i mean they they want to go offensive uh i'll make a determination on that but
[2:12:57] they would like to go offensive you know that and we'll have to make a determination
[2:13:01] can i follow the question given you have the fbi director and attorney general here today jim jordan
[2:13:06] has asked jack smith to appear in front of the house judiciary you mean deranged jack he's a deranged
[2:13:11] individual yeah he's asking well they should i'm surprised it takes so long you know we're talking
[2:13:16] about violent crime what about the crime against a political opponent that's what we have to talk about
[2:13:21] i think it was the worst weaponization of a political opponent in the history of the world
[2:13:35] let alone this country and i hope that everybody's you know they're involved in it i'm not i i'm the
[2:13:42] one that had to suffer through it and ultimately win but uh what they did was criminal deranged jack
[2:13:48] smith in my opinion is a criminal and i noticed his his interviewer was i think that was weissman
[2:13:56] and i hope they're going to look into weissman too weissman's a bad guy and he had somebody in lisa
[2:14:02] who was his puppet worked in the office uh really as the top person and i think that she should be
[2:14:11] looked at very strongly it there was tremendous criminal activity having to do if we don't have fair
[2:14:16] elections in this country we're not going to have a country and i've said it from the beginning fair
[2:14:20] elections and border borders and we need also fair press because if you don't have fair press it's very
[2:14:27] tough and uh we've got the strongest border of anybody nobody has a border we have a border where
[2:14:33] the numbers just came out again you saw zero people came in illegally now we do take people into our
[2:14:39] country legally but zero people but you know you're talking about a different subject you're talking about
[2:14:44] political crime they have committed massive political crime i hope they're looking at shifty
[2:14:51] shift i hope they're looking at all these people and i'm allowed to find out i'm allowed to you know
[2:14:56] i'm in theory the chief law enforcement officer but i have a very good talented group this is about
[2:15:02] something else but i hope they're looking at political crime because there's never been so much
[2:15:06] political crime against a political opponent they raided my house in florida it was an illegal raid
[2:15:13] i have a lawsuit that was doing very well and when i became president i said i'm sort of suing myself
[2:15:19] i don't know what he has settled the lawsuit i'll say give me x dollars right and i don't know what to
[2:15:24] do with the lawsuit it's a great lawsuit and now i won it sort of looks bad i'm suing myself right
[2:15:30] so i don't know but but that was a lawsuit that was very strong very powerful they raided illegally my
[2:15:35] house in florida mar-a-lago they went through the drawers of my young son they went through all of
[2:15:43] the cabinets and drawers of the first lady she walked in she said wow what happened because
[2:15:49] she's very meticulous and this wasn't so meticulous as she looked into the drawers and she saw everything
[2:15:55] a mess it's it's uh just what they did against a person that just got out of office and then you
[2:16:02] look at these corrupt people you look at hunter biden you look at the signature as an example the
[2:16:07] auto pen i just signed so many different things an admiral a four-star general that i'm signing
[2:16:14] them left and right the commissions and by the way i want to compliment john thune and also mike
[2:16:18] our great speaker but john thune all of a sudden i'm getting these things by the hundreds i was
[2:16:24] getting one every two weeks it would have been four years before you got them and more you would
[2:16:29] have had some that didn't even get in all because of democrat obstruction so john thune did a great job
[2:16:35] i signed i must have signed 200 into the administration we're just about caught up it's
[2:16:40] amazing and so compliments to john he had to do some things that were very tough to do that
[2:16:45] he didn't want to do but he was forced to do it by the democrats and as far as the shutdown is concerned
[2:16:51] this is a democrat schumer shutdown and he's trying to do it to get relevance back into the party because
[2:16:57] he's a loser i've known him all his life he's always been sort of a loser but an intelligent one
[2:17:02] but i think he's losing iq points with time i think that happens i hope it hasn't happened with
[2:17:07] me i know if it did you guys will let me know about it very quickly sir uh here in dc a judge has given
[2:17:16] the two teenagers that beat up uh ex-juge staffer big balls probation that's incredible in no jail time
[2:17:25] janine pirro is doing a fantastic job and she is beside herself because you have these radical left
[2:17:31] judges that they beat the hell out of this guy and it was many people against this one guy who was
[2:17:38] really trying to protect his girlfriend he didn't want he's hooded over the door because but they
[2:17:43] really beat him up badly that just happened right wow that's terrible i think the judge should be
[2:17:50] ashamed of himself that's a big problem you know they can do their job and then they go into a court and
[2:17:56] the people are protected by these i don't know where they come from where do these people come from
[2:18:00] where did the judges come from i want to compliment on behalf of pam and todd and all of us because
[2:18:06] cash i think that janine has done a fantastic job and the case i heard was like flawless it's a
[2:18:12] flawless case they have them on tape they have everything and then a judge gives them a little
[2:18:17] probation very these are these are rough guys and they're young and if that happens they're going to
[2:18:24] grow up they're going to be real bad they're going to cause they're going to cause a lot of problems
[2:18:28] yeah please go ahead what were the conversations like with prime minister modi and i think they
[2:18:37] were great he reported to me that you're great the great he's a great man you know modi is a great man
[2:18:45] that he he loves trump now i don't know if the word love i don't want you to take that any different i
[2:18:51] don't want to destroy his political career okay but you have to understand i've watched india for years
[2:18:56] it's an incredible country and every single year you'd have a new leader i mean some would be in
[2:19:01] there for a few months and this was year after year after year and my friend has been there now for a
[2:19:07] long time and he is and he's assured me there will be no oil purchased from russia i don't know maybe
[2:19:12] that's a breaking story can i say that would you say there will be no oil he's not buying his oil from
[2:19:17] russia it's it started you know you can't do it immediately it's a little bit of a process but the
[2:19:22] process is going to be over with soon and all we want from president putin is stop this stop killing
[2:19:29] ukraines and stop killing russians because he's killing a lot of russians again it doesn't make him
[2:19:35] look good it's a war that he should have won in one week and he's now going into his fourth year
[2:19:41] that does not look this make this big so-called war machine look good but he could make a settlement
[2:19:49] we're willing to settle i thought we had a deal the hatred of the two leaders is very you know
[2:19:55] it's an obstacle it's an obstacle there's no question about it but i thought we had a deal
[2:20:00] two months ago who would think i created peace in the middle east and can't get the two guys
[2:20:07] to settle but i think we'll get them but uh if india doesn't buy oil it makes it much easier
[2:20:13] and they're not going to buy they they assured me they will within a short period of time they will
[2:20:17] not be buying oil from russia and they'll go back to russia after the war is open over jennifer
[2:20:22] uh on the shutdown sir are fbi officials being paid right now are all the fbi employees being paid
[2:20:28] well that's what i understand i hope so thanks to you everybody thanks to your great part
[2:20:32] mr president that the fbi are going to receive their paychecks got a lot of people paid actually
[2:20:39] we got the people that we want paid okay and we want the fbi paid we want the military paid we got
[2:20:45] the people that we want paid and i'll tell you the democrats they don't talk about this you know
[2:20:51] we're getting rid of programs that we didn't like but that were negotiated in but we didn't like we're
[2:20:57] terminating those programs and they're going to be terminated on a permanent basis and it's thousands
[2:21:02] of people and it's it's you know billions of dollars we're getting rid of a lot of things that we
[2:21:07] never wanted because of the fact that they made this stupid move and they don't want to talk about it
[2:21:13] you know they have their day coming up i hear very few people going to be there by the way
[2:21:17] but they have their day coming up and they want to have their day in the sun uh but they should really
[2:21:23] make a deal so what we're doing i mean they call him darth vader but he's actually a very nice person
[2:21:29] russell vote but russell vote is is really terminating tremendous numbers of democrat projects this is not
[2:21:38] only jobs i mean the project in manhattan the project in new york it's billions and billions
[2:21:44] of dollars that schumer has worked 20 years to get it's terminated tell him it's terminated jennifer
[2:21:53] all right sir what is your understanding of the pace of returning the deceased hostages are you
[2:22:01] well they're looking for absolutely they're looking so we have the living hostages all back
[2:22:06] uh they return some more today it's a gruesome process i almost hate to talk about it so
[2:22:13] but they're digging they're actually digging there are areas where they're digging and they're finding
[2:22:17] a lot of bodies uh then they have to separate the bodies you wouldn't believe this this is
[2:22:23] and some of those bodies have been in there a long time and some of them are under rubble they have to
[2:22:28] remove rubble but uh there are graves and some are some are in tunnels that are that would that died in
[2:22:35] tunnels that are way down under the earth and the tunnels are like three feet can you believe it three
[2:22:42] feet high they lived like this for a long period of time it's a horrible it's a horrible atrocity
[2:22:48] at the same time uh we meaning israel but i knew everything they were doing pretty much i knew most of
[2:22:54] the things they were doing but they've killed probably 70 000 of these people hamas and i said it's time now
[2:23:04] so we'll see what happens we'll also see what happens your next question is going to be the
[2:23:07] weapons we want the weapons to be uh given up sacrificed and they've agreed to do it now they
[2:23:13] have to do it and if they don't do it we'll do it today suggests that hamas needs to hurry up and
[2:23:20] and disarm and follow your comprehensive plan that it was the head of centcom saying that is that not a
[2:23:25] signal to hamas to the rest of the world that at some point the u.s military more made more directly
[2:23:31] engaged we won't need the u.s military we won't need it because we're very much involved in it if
[2:23:37] we weren't involved there wouldn't be peace if we didn't uh destroy the nuclear capability of iran
[2:23:45] that deal would have never happened for two reasons the arab nations would not have felt bold enough to
[2:23:50] do it because you have a very powerful at that time iran is not powerful anymore between what we
[2:23:56] what israel and us did because you know the attack was was if you look at it we helped them very much
[2:24:02] they will be the first to tell you including shooting down thousands of drones that were coming
[2:24:07] into israel you know we shot them down we were shooting them down like uh it was target practice
[2:24:13] but we shot down thousands of drones and missiles also going into israel but between what we did to
[2:24:20] iran that way with the you know conventional we will call it and what that beautiful see that
[2:24:26] beautiful plane that b2 i noticed it on the desk i always thought it was beautiful but i never
[2:24:30] understood it now i understand it took in uh hundreds of thousands of bombs in the form of two but
[2:24:38] hundreds of thousands of pounds of bombs and every single bomb hit perfectly then they sent tomahawks
[2:24:44] and they sent 30 tomahawks on top of it and that was totally you know cnn said well maybe it wasn't as
[2:24:51] bad as you know as trump said because i said obliterated uh obliterated is not a strong enough
[2:24:57] word actually and you saw the atomic energy commission came out and said the word obliteration is very very
[2:25:05] think of it they came in under potential fire they entered iran airspace late at night in the dark
[2:25:14] no moon the moon was low for a reason was the one time we picked it couldn't see anything
[2:25:19] and they hit every target and they weren't hit nobody saw that plane that plane is stealth
[2:25:25] nobody said the problem with that is it may be stealth today but tomorrow it won't be and we just
[2:25:31] ordered about 20 brand new b2 bombers it's unbelievable as a weapon i know putin when i was uh riding with
[2:25:38] him in alaska we passed a lot of them and he said that really did the trick i said yeah it did it's amazing
[2:25:44] the flying wing it's no reason for the u.s military to get involved in gaza no i don't see that no i
[2:25:50] think we're going to handle it very well we'll be helping israel but we have other countries that are
[2:25:55] now you know we signed many many countries signed and many of those countries relatively are very
[2:26:00] strong military powers and hamas has no support see hamas had the support of iran and now iran says
[2:26:08] don't get us involved the last time they got them involved didn't work out too well
[2:26:13] so they used to have the support of iran today iran is they're trying to survive you know when i
[2:26:20] heard the reports two weeks ago iran's looking to build a nuclear weapon i said don't worry about it
[2:26:25] they got a lot of things they want to do before nuclear weapons i said the last thing they want
[2:26:29] to do is a nuclear weapon it didn't work out and if they did a nuclear weapon before they got even close
[2:26:35] that site would be attacked and it would be wiped out mr president you're meeting with president xi in
[2:26:42] a few weeks yeah if you can't come to an agreement or a deal at that meeting are we in for a sustained
[2:26:48] trade war with china well you're in one now look we have a hundred percent tariff if we didn't have
[2:26:55] tariffs we would be exposed as being a nothing we would have no defense you know they've used tariffs on
[2:27:03] us but we've never had anybody sitting in that chair that felt the need to do it and and they've
[2:27:10] allowed us to be 37 trillion dollars in debt etc etc we uh tariffs are a very important tool
[2:27:19] for our defense for our national security if we don't have tariffs we're not going to have national
[2:27:23] security as an example uh if you look at pakistan and iran i told them i was in the midst of negotiating
[2:27:30] a trade deal with actually with iran and pakistan was going to be in line and because of tariffs they
[2:27:39] all want to negotiate much differently we're making a good deal and then i heard that they're shooting
[2:27:44] at each other and i said during one of my conversations are you guys going to go to war
[2:27:49] two nuclear powers we are thinking about i said here's the deal you go to war i'm going to put a 200
[2:27:55] percent tariff i'm going to stop you from doing any business in the united states i said it to both of
[2:27:59] them within 24 hours the war ended that would have been a nuclear war and again the prime minister
[2:28:07] of pakistan who was here two weeks ago said that that man saved many millions of lives in front of
[2:28:13] a whole group of people because he thought it was going to be war but when it came to war or having to
[2:28:19] pay massive tariffs the tariffs overrode that's why it's so important not only the money we're taking in
[2:28:25] trillions of dollars not only the money the power to keep peace the power to be used for good is
[2:28:32] enormous but uh a lot of people didn't understand tariffs it's also made us very rich we have a big
[2:28:40] case coming up in the supreme court and i will tell you that's one of the most important cases in the
[2:28:46] history of our country because if we don't win that case we will be a uh weakened troubled financial
[2:28:55] mess for many many years to come i don't even know if survivable you know survivable is is a good
[2:29:01] term uh and if we do we're going to be the most powerful economic country in the world and all we're
[2:29:07] doing is using them as a defense against what's what took place for many years china would charge us
[2:29:14] tariffs it was incredible but we weren't allowed to charge and we were so we're allowed to do whatever
[2:29:19] we want we just had presidents that didn't want to do it for whatever reason
[2:29:23] and it was nothing but of the eight wars i was saying seven of the eight wars i would say tariffs
[2:29:29] are respond directly responsible for me ending six of them five or six without the tariffs you have wars
[2:29:39] raging all over the world with the tariffs other than russia we have no wars out there and uh we've
[2:29:46] made a lot of good friends too tariffs are so important to our new our national security if we
[2:29:54] don't have tariffs we don't have national security our country would would suffer a level that
[2:30:03] because they use so strongly on us as an example european union they won't take our cars they won't
[2:30:09] take our agriculture they won't take anything but they send their cars in mercedes bmw volkswagen by the
[2:30:16] millions we don't send any cars they don't take them they were tariffing us out uh agricultural
[2:30:22] product they don't take our agriculture they want their farmers to do it i understand that
[2:30:26] but it was very unfair and they were tariffing our product they're keeping out by using tariffs
[2:30:32] and we didn't use it but i used them and now we made one of the great deals with your 650 billion
[2:30:39] dollars they pay us and uh we've evened it out it's really a good thing to see and you have to
[2:30:45] understand they've all signed japan south korea i mean south korea 350 billion dollars up front uh japan
[2:30:53] 650 billion dollars and they've all agreed to it they're all happy but before it was a total ripoff
[2:31:01] and if we don't have the use of tariffs we have no national security this country will have no
[2:31:07] financial security will not have national security and the people that brought the lawsuit are people
[2:31:12] that are aligned with foreign nations that are now being treated fairly as opposed to just ripping
[2:31:19] us off and ripping us asunder so if but if we don't if we are not allowed to use what other people use
[2:31:26] against us there's no defense it'll be a disaster for america that's why i think i'm going to go to the
[2:31:32] supreme court to watch it i've not done that and i had some pretty big cases this is i think it's i think
[2:31:38] it's one of the most important cases ever brought because uh we will be defenseless against the world
[2:31:47] okay did you have one yes please thank you mr president um i want to ask you about the georgia
[2:31:55] senate race i know it's very early but there's several republicans in that field that are vying
[2:31:59] for your endorsement a lot of good people on that field yes no i know i haven't made a decision on that
[2:32:05] but you have some very good people in the georgia senate race well governor has endorsed no i know
[2:32:12] the governor has he's spoken to me about it a lot he likes that candidate a lot and i understand that
[2:32:18] i haven't made a decision yet but i'm following that race very carefully i think it's very important
[2:32:24] for georgia to get a real senator because the senator they have now is a horrible senator he he allows all
[2:32:30] the crime all the borders you have open borders i mean his whole philosophy is a disaster that's not
[2:32:35] representative of the people of georgia i know the people of georgia i won georgia three times but
[2:32:41] they say twice okay i wanted very big the last time and i wanted big the first time and i wanted big
[2:32:48] the second time but we had criminals that didn't allow i mean they i hope they're going to go into
[2:32:53] that i hope they go into the votes which are being stored in fulton county and take a look at a real
[2:32:59] look at those votes okay because i wanted the second time too but i know georgia very well i love georgia
[2:33:05] those people are great and they deserve a good senator because the man they have now is a
[2:33:11] weak ineffective person okay
[2:33:18] by the way you won georgia three times yeah i agree do you agree with me
[2:33:22] he's the media for someone that he's the media spends a lot of time in georgia i believe you won
[2:33:27] that uh i really have a question you know the word believe isn't strong enough right you know
[2:33:31] there you go it's true i know i want to i oh we have the great newt gingrich newt you agree with
[2:33:38] us good otherwise i'd have him dismissed immediately from you know his wife as you know is becoming an
[2:33:44] ambassador to a great country calista so congratulations and we're going to take a picture
[2:33:49] and uh the only reason i'm doing he speaks so well of me he said i'll go down as the greatest
[2:33:55] president in history and then he blew it he said i'm not sure if i put him above washington or lincoln
[2:34:03] so i'm not that happy about that dude question about the weaponization of the doj the media
[2:34:09] often says your department is weaponizing the doj that's the opposite it's the opposite todd you
[2:34:15] represented president trump and probably the greatest weaponization uh of the doj by alvin bragg
[2:34:21] you know firsthand if you can describe what you saw under the biden administration how they weaponized
[2:34:27] the doj well i mean i think it's hard to describe what happened in the last four years
[2:34:37] alvin bragg a local prosecutor his office staffed by some of the media jack smith
[2:34:44] picked as a special counselor staffs his entire office of doj prosecutors and then there are countless
[2:34:49] things that happen all all in writing most of them on the document that require no explanation except a
[2:34:55] complete abomination of the place of the attorney on their own now and the director itself so when
[2:35:01] people talk about this department weaponizing it's embarrassing because there's no scenario
[2:35:08] where you can look at what we're doing restoring justice doing the right thing in every single case
[2:35:14] and say that that's weaponization and yet remain eerily silent about what happened for the past three
[2:35:21] years and we read these articles and giggle because it cannot be true that people really think that
[2:35:27] what they did to him not once not twice i'm still counting three four times but we're the ones that are
[2:35:35] weaponizing so this man is not weaponizing the department of justice we're not weaponizing the department
[2:35:39] of justice it's the opposite i mean and also nobody questions what i'm saying because it's true
[2:35:45] because we all lived the past four years so listen they never want to bring up the details but i i watch
[2:35:51] the fake news and oh he's weaponized and he wants to send them to prison he wants all this they
[2:35:59] indicted me like five times i took a mug shot who would have thought it turned out to my favor
[2:36:07] because it was a good shot but i had to take a mug shot it's right out there in the door new york post
[2:36:13] front page of the every paper in the world i had a mug shot they wanted to send me nobody says that
[2:36:19] they say he's acting very very tough he's acting unfair let me tell you if they've been nice to
[2:36:26] anybody it's to those criminals because they are so good having to do with all of the things we're
[2:36:32] talking about today with violent crime but if anything i think this justice department has been
[2:36:39] so respectful of the law because the other justice department with rita or lisa and all of that
[2:36:47] scum real scum what they did to the political opponent of a guy that has a seriously low iq now
[2:36:55] in his case it was it was low based on his career but it got real low okay it was descending rapidly
[2:37:07] but what they did to go after his political opponent is legendary worst than any third world country banana
[2:37:16] republic and what we're doing is nothing are you kidding nothing they write stories why aren't they
[2:37:25] doing this this and we'll leave i don't have to leave it up to them but i choose to at this moment
[2:37:33] at least but there's never been anybody treated in the history of politics you know they say the two
[2:37:39] worst treated presidents by the media etc was that man right there the late great abraham lincoln
[2:37:47] and this grant right there andrew jackson they say andrew jackson was treated terribly they give him
[2:37:55] number one and number two but that was before i came along newt i say i have number one times ten nobody's
[2:38:02] been uh and make better the white house and that's really what's happened and we're getting tremendous
[2:38:08] reviews and we appreciate it but we're here for a different reason it's called operation summer heat
[2:38:15] which is an appropriate term in light of what we're doing and early yesterday morning i returned from
[2:38:20] the middle east where we celebrated a historic agreement to end years of suffering and conflict
[2:38:26] amazing every country came together i mean even the enemies came out and and totally endorsed it
[2:38:33] everybody i've never seen anything like it nobody's seen anything like it and just as we
[2:38:37] are forging peace and stability abroad we're also restoring peace and safety and stability at home
[2:38:43] and you see that in washington dc may be better than any place because we got there and within 12
[2:38:49] days it was it was very good and within 30 days it's been as safe as any city in the country it's
[2:38:55] been great took out 1700 people got them out these are career criminals in many cases and people that
[2:39:01] shouldn't have been allowed in by the biden administration historically the summer months have been
[2:39:06] been a time when violent crime soar as you know but not under president trump today we're announcing the
[2:39:14] results of a sweeping law enforcement effort known as operation summer heat we were in many cities that
[2:39:19] people didn't know about we kept it a little quiet and uh it had a big impact and you'll hear that in a
[2:39:25] second but over the past few months fbi offices in all 50 states made crushing violent crime
[2:39:32] a top enforcement priority that's what they did rounding up and arresting thousands of the most
[2:39:38] violent and dangerous criminals and these are among the most dangerous and violent people in the world
[2:39:44] they were allowed in many cases not in all cases but in many cases they were allowed in by a very
[2:39:50] foolish actually stupid open border policy just anybody could have come in they emptied out their jails
[2:39:56] their prisons their mental institutions they emptied them into our country
[2:40:01] and the people behind me have done an incredible job because uh if we didn't have that administration
[2:40:06] it would have been so much easier they allowed millions of people in this country that shouldn't
[2:40:11] have been allowed including over 11 000 murderers half of whom murdered more than one person and many
[2:40:18] of them are gone now or they're put in prison because we're we don't want to have them come back so we
[2:40:23] literally put them in our prison which we don't want to do but we bring them back to their countries
[2:40:28] working with state and local partners the fbi arrested over 8 000 violent criminals during the
[2:40:34] course of this period in major cities like in new orleans nashville we saw a 250 percent increase in
[2:40:41] arrests we got and we really went after the bad ones these include 725 individuals wanted for violent crimes
[2:40:50] against children and murderers these arrests are in addition to the work of our historic federal task
[2:40:57] forces that uh make dc safe task force has been unbelievable i mean the job they've done
[2:41:05] it's incredible and it's been so nice because so many people they're going out to dinner and they're
[2:41:10] having dinners they they wouldn't they didn't go out for four years and now they're going out three times a
[2:41:16] week the restaurants are opening restaurants are full and usually that means a lot of good things
[2:41:23] but restaurants that were closed are now opening up and everybody's happy it's nobody's ever seen
[2:41:29] anything like it actually and everybody feels safe you can you can have a child walk right through the
[2:41:33] middle of washington dc and nothing's going to happen we were losing more than one person a week in
[2:41:38] watch they're being killed on an average of over one a week the make dc safe task force has been
[2:41:47] incredible and the make memphis safe task force is having very similar results it's much earlier but
[2:41:55] we've been there for a week and a half but i'm hearing the results are pretty incredible and you'll hear
[2:41:59] about that they're mobilizing more than 20 federal agencies for the largest law enforcement
[2:42:04] operation targeting violent criminals in american history as a result of these efforts violent crime
[2:42:11] declined nearly 20 percent nationwide compared to the same period last year and it was the safest and
[2:42:16] most peace peaceful summer in two decades and honestly we haven't really even gotten going yet
[2:42:22] if we didn't have to fight all of these radical left governors we could have had chicago taken care of
[2:42:27] as an example they had in a short period of time four thousand murders in chicago and we have to
[2:42:33] listen to this man stand up and say that we're bad people and the people of chicago are walking
[2:42:38] around with mega hats you have women beautiful black women walking around with mega hats please let the
[2:42:45] president in and we don't care how he does it they're not interested in national guard or army navy bring
[2:42:52] them in marines bring in the marines they just want the crime to stop and more so because of the success
[2:42:58] that we had in dc i think if we didn't have that success nobody would even believe it so i want to
[2:43:05] congratulate all of the incredible law enforcement professionals joining us today especially attorney
[2:43:11] general pam bondi is terrific deputy attorney general todd blanche who is uh a fantastic legal
[2:43:20] talent he really is he's a great guy too and of course fbi director cash patel they have worked so hard
[2:43:27] on this and other things since the start of the administration the fbi has arrested over 23 000
[2:43:33] violent criminals more than double the number arrested in the final year of the biden disaster
[2:43:40] the fbi has also destroyed or severely disrupted more than 170 organized criminal enterprises and gangs
[2:43:49] 1600 of the most violent gangs and confiscated over 6 000 illegal firearms and they've tracked down
[2:43:57] and arrested four fugitives on the most wanted list four of the most wanted actually two of them were
[2:44:04] the most wanted fugitives in the world there's still much more work to be done which is why the fbi
[2:44:11] continues to work alongside the department of justice the department of homeland security
[2:44:15] and the department of war to defend and pete hegseth has been fantastic by the way on this too on other
[2:44:22] things but on this too uh to defend law and order and combat violent crime arrest illegal aliens and
[2:44:29] make american cities the safest in the world and when i campaigned i talked about crime but i never knew
[2:44:36] that we were going to get into it like we did you know i mean i used to watch these cities with the
[2:44:40] murders chicago recently had one deal where they had 11 murders in one weekend and they said well yeah but
[2:44:48] it was a holiday weekend they actually told me that was the reason like it was okay because it was
[2:44:52] a holiday it was labor day these people are the worst they are they really have to they better
[2:44:58] i tell you what the the people in chicago and the people in places like that that could be fixed
[2:45:03] at some point it gets to where you can't fix it anymore it's too far gone and we have some cities
[2:45:08] like that but these are great cities that could be fixed i'm going to be strongly recommending
[2:45:14] at the request of government officials which is always nice that you start looking at san francisco
[2:45:20] i think we can make san francisco there's one of our great cities 10 years ago 15 years ago now it's
[2:45:27] a mess and we have great support in san francisco so i'd like to recommend that for inclusion maybe
[2:45:33] in your next group you'll get great support every american deserves to live in a community where they're
[2:45:39] not afraid of being mugged murdered robbed raped assaulted or shot and that's exactly what our
[2:45:45] administration is working to deliver i didn't realize i was going to make this such a big factor
[2:45:50] in the i didn't really campaign i campaigned on crime but i never thought we'd go into every city and
[2:45:56] take a really safe city that we've all been living with for years and make them safe and now it's like
[2:46:02] a passion for me and it's a passion for the people behind me so uh i didn't get elected i did get
[2:46:08] elected for crime but i didn't get elected for what we're doing this is many many steps above and
[2:46:14] i want to thank steven miller who's right back in the audience right there i'd love to have him i love
[2:46:19] watching him on television i'd love to have him come up and explain his true feelings but maybe not his
[2:46:26] truest feelings that might be going a little bit too far but steven thank you for doing an unbelievable
[2:46:31] job and the people of this country love you i'll tell you and they love what you say about crime
[2:46:36] and stopping crime so now i'd like to ask director i'd like to ask director patel to say a few words
[2:46:44] and then pam and todd also and i just want to congratulate them this is an amazing thing and
[2:46:50] we're just at the start we're going to go into other cities that we're not talking about purposely
[2:46:55] we're getting ready to go in and when they go in like cash is an example told me that people didn't
[2:47:00] even know five months ago they went into chicago and they started doing a lot of work in chicago and
[2:47:06] we brought the the numbers down a little bit and uh but that really was just preparatory work for
[2:47:13] what we're going to do with the surge we're going to have a surge of uh strong good people patriots
[2:47:21] and they're going to go in they straighten it all out so uh a lot of these cities we're already
[2:47:26] working on but we don't do it with a big a big flavor but in a little while you're going to see some
[2:47:31] numbers that you're not going to believe and i think you'll probably start with memphis because i'm
[2:47:35] hearing the numbers are much quicker than we even thought possible uh but uh again dc is it speaks
[2:47:42] for itself chicago is going to be okay we're going to save chicago and i told you and i told them a
[2:47:48] very respected man the head of the union pacific said sir save chicago it can be saved and the way he
[2:47:54] said it was like can you believe it we're trying to save chicago but i understood exactly what he wants
[2:48:00] and that's what we're going to do we're going to save all of our cities and we're going to make them
[2:48:04] essentially crime free like other countries have crime free if you go all over the world you go to
[2:48:11] the world you hear afghanistan and you hear all these different places uh our crime in certain
[2:48:16] cities is worse than anything they can even imagine and we're not going to have that any longer it's
[2:48:21] going to stop and it stops right here cash please thank you mr president what i'd like to do is just
[2:48:26] highlight some of the outstanding work that the men and women of the fbi have been doing and thanks to
[2:48:30] your brave leadership and the mandate you were given by the american people not only defend the
[2:48:34] homeland but crush violent crime you tasked us with our great partners at the department of justice and
[2:48:38] the attorney general and the deputy attorney general to start making arrests and bring prosecutions and
[2:48:43] safeguard our cities and you said it this is just the beginning in just seven months i hope the media
[2:48:49] takes a look at every one of these charts because these are the best numbers for fighting crime in u.s
[2:48:54] history and it's only seven months in and to do that our vehicle to do it of choice was operation
[2:49:00] summer heat which the fbi architected to go after violent criminals and in just a three month span you
[2:49:06] had 8 700 arrests of violent criminals you had 2200 firearms seized off the streets permanently to
[2:49:14] safeguard our communities you had 421 kilograms of fentanyl seized just to put that in perspective
[2:49:20] that's enough to kill 55 million americans alone you had 45 000 kilograms of cocaine seized
[2:49:28] and thanks to our department of justice partners you had 2100 indictments in three months from june to
[2:49:34] september alone mr president that in and of itself would be historic for a four-year presidency you did
[2:49:40] that in seven months because you let good cops be cops and you partnered us with the right people
[2:49:45] the department of justice to put the handcuffs on and bring them to court and put them in prison
[2:49:50] and if that weren't enough when you look at the year for the entire seven month period that we're
[2:49:54] talking about here if you look at the past four years of the biden administration 16 000 17 000 15 000
[2:50:02] that's the number of arrests year over year of violent felons in this country for the biden
[2:50:06] administration mr president in seven months you have 27 28 600 arrests of violent feminists in just seven
[2:50:14] months alone because of your leadership and the dedication of the men and women at the fbi
[2:50:19] who want to go out there and do the job they were prevented from doing because that department
[2:50:24] used to be weaponized and politicized and this is what happens when you take out the fangs of
[2:50:28] weaponization this number is historic by every metric 28 000 people have been arrested violent
[2:50:35] felons alone and then when you go over there and look at some of these charts if you don't mind
[2:50:38] i'll just hop over here look at the metrics for not just by the crime but the homeland
[2:50:45] mr president during your administration the fbi has found and located 5 400 children that is a 30
[2:50:54] percent increase year to date over the last administration violent crimes against children
[2:50:59] arrests alone are up 10 gang arrests are up 210 in the last seven months alone and transnational
[2:51:08] organized crime which stephen miller has been a great partner in is up over 12 percent alone these
[2:51:13] numbers are historic just as a snapshot but just so people don't think we're focusing on violent crime
[2:51:19] alone the national security mission mr president your leadership has never been stronger we have gone
[2:51:24] after espionage activities against our main counterparts in china russia and iran in china alone we've had
[2:51:31] over a 50 percent increase in espionage of arrests alone in prosecution in iran we have had a 50 percent
[2:51:39] increase again in espionage cases and in russia we've had a 33 increase in espionage cases alone when
[2:51:47] it comes to counterterrorism year to date we have 125 arrests this year versus 100 last year year to date
[2:51:54] alone and when it comes to the cyber criminal activities which are some of the largest enterprises
[2:51:58] plaguing everyday americans we at the fbi have put out a mission to go after cyber criminals like never
[2:52:04] before last year they had in total 191 this year you already have 252 arrests 52 arrests of violent
[2:52:13] cyber criminals who are stealing from senior citizens who are violating our children's rights and freedoms
[2:52:19] and who are violating everyday americans these programs are a record and some of the two of the
[2:52:24] things i'll finish with that i'm most proud of mr president this fbi fentanyl as you know it's a
[2:52:29] scourge that's killing our youth 100 000 plus a year to date the fbi has seized 1900 kilograms of
[2:52:36] fentanyl that's enough lethal doses to kill 127 million americans alone to date and if that weren't
[2:52:43] enough mr president you said we have to go after the worst of the worst and you empowered our department
[2:52:49] of justice our attorney general deputy attorney general and the deputy director at the fbi led the
[2:52:54] charge not just on summer heat but he also led the charge to the fbi's 10 most wanted fugitives these
[2:53:00] people have been on the run for years and in seven months you captured not one not two not three but
[2:53:06] four of the fbi's most top 10 fugitives four and just to put that in perspective mr president the
[2:53:11] biden administration captured four in all four years you're on seven and we're going to get to
[2:53:16] ten we're going to get the ten of ten this includes a lady who murdered her six-year-old
[2:53:20] handicapped child and fled indian we got her in two months this includes a narco trafficker this includes a
[2:53:25] sex trafficker this includes another first three murder and gangbang these people were on the run
[2:53:31] because of the prior administration's reckless policies that destroyed our communities and you
[2:53:35] came in and with a mandate said go after
