[00:00:00] Speaker 1: aggressive short selling and not enough conviction here by some of these longs. We haven't been able to get anywhere near the high of the day in around 71 and a third. You need to be alive to the 60 penny area. The 60 penny area is kind of like the make or break. I would say out at 58, but it is two o'clock and two seconds. We're going to pause. We're sending it up to Adara with a very special guest. And then after she's done, the big boys are going to take you into the
[00:00:27] Speaker 2: close. Take care, guys. Very excited to be here with you all to introduce our guest this afternoon, Chris McKaney, EVP, Head of Investment Management and Strategy at GlobalX Canada. Good afternoon. Great to have you here with us, Chris. Happy to be here. Thanks for having me. Of course. Let's get right into it. So for viewers who are new to PowerStock, what are these ETFs designed to do? Which companies are in the lineup and how do they differ from owning the shares directly? Sure. Yeah,
[00:00:53] Speaker 3: PowerStock ETFs are a suite of single stock ETFs aimed to provide exposure to individual US listed companies with 33% leverage built into it. So for every $100 invested, you have $133 exposure to that underlying company. Listed just this morning on the TSX here in Toronto. And for the initial launch, we started with six ETFs. The companies they are tracking are Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, and SpaceX. So that's the initial launch here. And as well, each of those has a currency hedge built on it as well. So for Canadian investors that want access to these US companies, you can buy them in Canadian dollars and the currency FX exposure is minimized for you. Well, congratulations on the
[00:01:40] Speaker 2: listing and the launch there. So heading into earnings, which of course a lot of these companies are going to have, even starting with Tesla's early as next week. Where do you see the strongest opportunities and biggest risk among those companies? And how should that shape investors' decisions to take leveraged exposure?
[00:01:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think it's a good question because this is one of the primary use cases we see for PowerStock ETFs is that positioning in and around these earnings announcements or other catalysts like earnings. One thing we like to look at, what you want to do is try to parse out what's already priced into the markets versus what's to come still. And so one thing we like to look at is just looking at an average move on an earnings date for each of these stocks, based on history, how much do these stocks typically move? And then take a look at tapping into the options market and looking at implied volatilities. How much is the market expecting these stocks to move at this particular earnings announcement? So if you take NVIDIA and Tesla, for example, typically they move 7% plus on an earnings date. Well, the market right now is only pricing them in to move around 5% each on their earnings dates, respectively. So if I'm already an owner or a holder going into earnings and I'm a little bit nervous, maybe I'm not as nervous knowing that the market is not expecting an outsized move from these companies. So maybe I'm going to hold through that earnings. I'm a little bit more comfortable to hold in that scenario. Conversely, on the other side, you look at Alphabet or Amazon, for example. The market's expecting larger than average moves from these companies coming up to earnings. And so, you know, these two are two of the biggest spenders on AI CapEx right now. But they also have huge cloud businesses that can benefit from all this AI CapEx spending. So this is telling me the market is looking at probably, A, the results from those markets, from those businesses, but also what's the outlook that the companies are providing for each of these markets and their respective businesses. So, you know, for someone who's maybe looking at adding exposure, if you're expecting maybe some weakness from that earnings, maybe an outsized move downwards is a great buying opportunity. So looking at it from that lens, of course, you've got to have an idea of what to expect from earnings and which way you want to lean going into it. But that gives you these opportunities to use these ETFs around those earnings dates.
[00:03:59] Speaker 2: So as you mentioned here, PowerStocks targets roughly 1.33x exposure here without a covered call overlay. So how do these specific choices here in terms of how they're designed affect upside participation and downside risk, particularly through a sharp decline in recovery? So you talked a little bit about positioning into earnings. But once this actually happens, I mean, how are these designed to help investors?
[00:04:21] Speaker 3: Right. Yeah. And so, again, they do have that leverage component. So your downside is a little bit increased in terms of just buying the stock directly. But we wanted to provide that upside exposure as well. You know, a lot of single stock ETFs here in Canada do have that covered call overlay on them, which are great for income-oriented investors. But we think, you know, typically when investors are doing the analysis, taking the time and choosing companies to put in their portfolio, they're probably bullish on those stocks and want to capture most of that upside. And so being able to provide just the pure leverage exposure that has that full upside plus 33%, we think makes most sense for investors that are putting these single stocks into their portfolios.
[00:05:03] Speaker 2: So Canadian investors can get the stock call right and still see currency moves affect their return, as you mentioned a little bit earlier here. So how does PowerStock's Canadian dollar hedging address that? Just go into a little bit more detail about that. And what are the limitations, of course, with this as well?
[00:05:16] Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, there's nothing worse than getting the call right, but then something else, you know, hinders the performance of that stock or ETF that you bought. And so, you know, this can happen. It can be pretty significant moves when you look at historically what FX movements have been. 2007, U.S. dollar declined by about 15% versus the Canadian dollar. So even if you bought a U.S. stock that was up 15%, your position was flat in Canadian dollar terms. So taking that risk out for Canadian investors, we think, is important. Of course, you're taking out upside exposure as well. So if the U.S. dollar appreciates, you're not going to benefit from that either. So it works both ways. But, again, we think when investors are doing the analysis, you want to buy that stock based on the fundamentals of its operating model, on valuation, whatever it might be. Chances are you don't have a view on where the currency is going to be a month from now or a year from now or whatever it is. And so taking that out of the equation for investors, we think, makes sense. As, again, you add these single stocks into your portfolio, you probably want that stock-specific risk to be isolated in your portfolio for you.
[00:06:19] Speaker 2: So to wrap things up here, I mean, before choosing one of these ETFs, what should investors consider about a holding period, concentration, overall cost, which, of course, includes borrowing expenses beyond that 0.15% management fee?
[00:06:31] Speaker 3: Right, yeah. And so for first, you know, holding period up front, you know, we wanted to add leverage to these solutions so that they can be used as tactical tools, again, around earnings dates, things like that, but also can be held by and hold for the long term. And so long-term investors that want a little bit more upside that can take on that added risk with that long-term time horizon, we think can hold these ETFs for the long term. In terms of, you know, added costs and things like that, you mentioned there is just a 0.15% management fee, so very low cost in terms of that management fee to get institutional-level leverage, as well as the currency hedging component on that, very low cost. But, of course, because they're leveraged, we are cash borrowing here, and so there is a cost to borrow, which investors will see show up in the MER at the end of the year. And that's essentially overnight rates plus a little bit of a spread. Typically, the spread we would pay on an ETF will be much cheaper than what an individual would pay in their margin account, for example. So generally a very low-cost way to get that leverage and get it into your portfolio. And then lastly, just on concentration risk, you know, we think it makes sense for investors. You know, if you've decided, I want to go out and add NVIDIA to my portfolio, you probably want to make sure how much NVIDIA you already have, right? Whether that's through S&P, ETFs, NASDAQ, whatever other ETFs or portfolios you have in your overall portfolio, figure out how much exposure you already have to that company. And then think about, you know, adding these on as satellites around that diversified core. And so these can be satellite positions added on around that core based on, again, how much exposure you already have and then how much more you want to layer on top of that.
[00:08:07] Speaker 2: Makes sense. Thank you so much for being here with us today. Chris McKaney, EVP, Head of Investment Management and Strategy over at GlobalX Canada. And congrats again on the launch of PowerStock.
[00:08:16] Speaker 4: Thanks, Hugh. Thank you. Yeah, big thank you to Chris for sure. And, you know, we always talk. I like, you know what, first of all, I do a thing. I'm stealing this satellite.
[00:08:27] Speaker 5: I like that term. Satellite position.
[00:08:29] Speaker 4: I'm going to start using that from now on because everybody, we've said this before, like not everyone around our show owns Broadcom, but everybody owns Broadcom. You own it. Maybe you don't like the individual stock, but it's too big in the index. So from now on, if I'm getting, because I own NVIDIA, but I also own the Qs. From now on, it's satellite positions. And I'm going to have all the satellite positions except for SoFi. SoFi would be, it would be, what are we calling it? It's like a... A grenade position. No, it's like an asteroid falling into the Earth. Yes. And, yeah.
[00:09:02] Speaker 5: That's not SpaceX. No, it's not.
[00:09:04] Speaker 4: I love that term. And I think it's really important to remember, you know, we're talking about trading vehicles with the leveraged ETFs and fantastic trading short-term vehicles. The market is going, getting more democratized. Obviously, you know, eventually things are going 23.5. It's about giving you the tools and the power. And one thing Chris says that I know is true is I have the CDRs. I'm not trying to think about currency moves at all as a Canadian investor.
[00:09:32] Speaker 5: No, I mean, that's why I've been...
[00:09:33] Speaker 4: It's not my cup of tea.
[00:09:34] Speaker 5: I've been having, I've been investing in those CDRs for a while. And the CDRs is not what they're talking about. But we do like that power stock there. For sure. Take away that currency risk. Well, you should. I mean, especially here in Canada, like we get paid in Canadian dollars. So a lot of the companies you want to invest in. And by the way, right now, here comes a face slapper right there. As we go short again on Apple, we just reloaded it. But yeah, you know, you put your money in the Canadian funds. And the next thing you're looking over and you're like, wow. I mean, you give a good example of 2008 there, 2007, where the dollar lost against the U.S. Especially now with all the turmoil happening, U.S.-Canada relations, so on and so forth. You never know. So you want your investments to line up with the performance of the stock. So we want to thank them from GlobalX to come through. And again, our number one sponsor this afternoon, sole sponsor, ETF sponsor, for the afternoon show. So yeah, that was cool. But whatever you did, that was kind of cool. Okay, he's going to show this in a minute. I just want to say for Apple, again, like I just, I couldn't really find anything. So I was trying to go long right here on Apple. We will, yes.
[00:10:41] Speaker 2: Some people in the chat asked me about Apple. There's no news yet.
[00:10:44] Speaker 5: Apple, there's supposed to be news? Oh, you said yet. I was like, okay. But yeah, right into here. So I was trying to go long off those pre-markets because you know what? The market's down 2% and Apple's still green. So I was like, you know what? If we could come in and defend this. So there's me losing. Sorry, there's the long. There's going to be a red. You can't see it. But we got stopped out. And as soon as we got stopped out, I'm like, what am I even doing right there? What the hell is even that? There we go. This guy's the best. And then so I was like, what the hell is even that? Why am I going long? So we flipped it up. We went short. And the rest is history right there. Apple, number two stock. Actually, it's them and Amazon right now are tied. The number one stock for me will still be Google. But we've got to go over to Neil to handle some business.
[00:11:27] Speaker 4: Kick it right now. Power stock ETFs, which you just heard about, everybody. They're designed by Globex Canada for growth-focused traders. Plain and simple. They're amplified, single stock exposure, easy ETF access, and the convenience of Canadian dollar exposure for our Canadian traders and investors. You can always learn more at betapro.ca. Scan the QR code you see out in front of you. And like we said, great trading vehicle potentially with the new TSLP, the Tesla power stock ETF. I wonder how Tesla's doing. We'll get to Tesla in a quick little second. I think we might be, if we're bouncing off these lows, and that's a big if, I want to hop out and look for another opportunity to get in. I'm looking at IBID, SMCI, unfortunately SoFi, and Intel this afternoon. Intel could be a different one. I feel like this needs to at least get up to 99 to fade it. Some of these stocks are bouncing off of prior lows and finding some interesting support areas that we got to pay attention to. But I got to trail on for BM&R. If it bounces off the bottom, I'm not looking to reverse. I'm looking to re-engage and short the next available pop. Speaking of Tesla, hey, we can talk about Tesla. They're not having a good day. The market is decidedly red. The best way to think about it is if you're not red today, and you're not, and biopharma names are pretty strong. You know, if you're a tech name and you're not red, you're doing something incredibly right. I can't think of one. I'm sure there's something out there. You guys put it in the chat. What is a tech name that is green today? And I don't want to hear GameStop.
[00:13:06] Speaker 5: Apple. Apple's the only one.
[00:13:07] Speaker 4: Okay, true. Yes, but Apple's at the lows. Walmart. Is Walmart a tech stock?
[00:13:14] Speaker 5: Well, it's in the NASDAQ 100, so.
[00:13:15] Speaker 4: It is. Okay, let's go to Adaira. It's not a tech stock. I guess Apple, yeah, Apple counts. Apple counts.
[00:13:20] Speaker 5: Of course, that was the biggest tech stock, one of the biggest ones in the world.
[00:13:23] Speaker 4: Second biggest in the world. I think it's at the low. I was kind of hoping for a stock that was trend up above VWAP. I mean, I think. Something like that.
[00:13:28] Speaker 5: We might have made a low here in the NASDAQ, but we'll talk about that when we get back. What's up, Adaira?
[00:13:33] Speaker 2: I do have something in Apple here, but to call it news is really strong. I'd say this is incredibly speculative. Stansberry Research, an outlet I've never heard of, reporting that apparently a former Bloomberg reporter has said that Elon Musk could be developing an iPhone rival that would have global satellite connectivity and AI capabilities. Again, massive speculation. Be very careful. But this story on Watch for Apple. Back to you.
[00:13:58] Speaker 5: I love Elon, but. Yeah, you're not going to compete with Apple. I mean, many have tried, but I mean, whatever. There's still Samsung. He doesn't need it. Yeah. Anyways, here goes Apple. You would think that would be a bad story, but Apple's starting to go to the high side. As I was saying, I think maybe this is for the first time in a while since noon or so that we've broken through the 50 period moving average. So we'll take. We did not. We did not lose on Apple. Apple was a great trade, but we'll flush it down on that last. Well, we won't even because the last reload got us, paid us off. We're just getting stopped out right now as we try to break back above. Now I'm wondering about TQQ long, Apple long. Potentially, we've lost pretty much our whole day when we were trading earlier on this TQQ long. We just kept on fighting until we fought the law and the law won there at the end of the day. Look at this 10-year, man. That's come way back in. This 10-year is now where we were pre-CPI. So that's way back. 519 again, which is crazy. Everything getting hit to the downside now. There's like no way to win over here. Yeah. So anyways, as we go, that's what we're talking about right now. It is your TQQ. So, you know, get ready to rock and roll with that here into the afternoon. I'm thinking about putting on that long. We just got stopped out, of course, of that Apple trade. So, you know, not a great trader there for me so far with Apple. But, you know, we're still in it. We're going to wait to see. We're out of Apple, but we're going to wait to see about this TQQ long. Maybe there is something we can wind up doing there to get this position right. So we'll still, you know, we'll trade it accordingly and hope to be able to get this trade back in. So, 1983 right there put an offer. So, yeah, looking to buy this, maybe $74, something like that, $73.80. If we pull back in, there's the break that we had. It was a little bit like, nah, you know, it tried to break it. It went upside. I think you would have taken some profit there on this break long. But at the end of the day, pretty hard one I'm feeling like right now in the NASDAQ. So just stay patient with it, I think. And, you know, you'll be here for the rest. I heard actually Sharif say something that was very, very accurate. And that was you want to live to sort of see another day. In our accounts here, it's not a problem. But, you know, you do want to try to live to see another day. So we'll see what happens here with the TQQs. Hopefully, trying to go back up to the upside.
[00:16:18] Speaker 4: And obviously, as many people astutely pointed out, clearly bending spoons qualifies as a tech stock. Yes, yes. Yeah, I was kind of thinking of something that wasn't parabolic on news like that. The bending of the spoons. It's a good example. I saw it a few times in the chat. ServiceNow. ServiceNow is a pretty good example. Above VWAP. Up one point. It's not the strongest looking chart. I'm not going to pretend that it is. But up a point and change. That could be a little something on a break. I just got out of VMNR. This was, I don't know, short into VWAP when it's going up. Instead of short VWAP as it's going down. Like, sometimes it's obvious. This broke the low of the day yesterday right into the close. So that's what we wanted to watch. Oh, and I don't want to forget about this sucker. If it starts moving today, maybe Skydance was just the close short. Should have just been an all day short. This is the one that's supposed to be 87 million shares to sell to close. I think they got some of that out of the way early. Down 26%. But on the off chance it starts moving up, I'm hoping to be able to short pops going into the closing print on Skyd. My guess is so much of this is priced in that it might not have anywhere to drop at the close. But that's going to be on their radar 100%. So I'm really looking for something hopefully off the bottom. Like, SoFi this entire time I've been looking for SoFi to break trend. It just bottom-tailed and is back above the $14 level. So outside of this move in here off 14-2, this is the first time it's starting to look like a bit of a long. 8% down on SoFi. 8. It wasn't even in the news, man. Yeah, well, banks. True, but not directly. For them to be down 8% when they're not really taking a direct hit today, to lose huge support like this on SoFi. I think it's a short till proven otherwise on the daily chart. But in here at 14, if I start to see this consolidation hold and break above, I'm going to try the long on SoFi. I'm not even thinking VWAP. I think if it gets to 14-20, that'll be a good one.
[00:18:28] Speaker 5: So I don't know if my wife has, bless you, I don't know if my wife has seen the market today or not. I was talking with her. I told her the market. Actually, I did tell her. I told her the market was getting killed. So what does she do? She sends me a house. $1.7 million. Just to show you what this is, this is a Hyde Park house. So it's sort of in our neighborhood here. Four beds. Only two baths right there. $1.8 million. This is what this kind of gets you here in lovely Toronto. So this, this is what it is. This is $1.8 million. This is not, probably doesn't even qualify as a driveway. And we'll have to see what the backyard looks like there. Yeah, look at this little porch. Come on, man. You can't fix these scratches for $1.8. And then as we go here, nice house inside for sure. I'm trying to get to the backyard. Pretty small overall. Oh, this kind of heating. Not even central air. Not even central heating. Kitchen, actually pretty nice there for the kitchen. But there's your neighbors right there. So that's a little bit of a problem. I like the exposed.
[00:19:26] Speaker 4: They've done a good job with the kitchen.
[00:19:27] Speaker 5: Yeah, I like the exposed brick. I mean, it looks like they probably renovated all of this. Okay, this is getting to be. No, Marissa just said it to me. I just want to see what this backyard looks like. No, I'm not buying this. Hold on a second. Right into there. Okay, so it's not even really a backyard. So this is what this looks like right into here. You got a little bit of a shed over there. $1.8 million. That looks like 20 feet wide. So yeah, there it is again. This is your backyard. You know, neighbors. This is your house right here. Oh, I know where this is. Okay, I know. Yeah, this is actually Asasino. Yeah. All right. So this is right at High Park, man. You can walk to the Diamonds from here. So $1.8 million.
[00:20:04] Speaker 4: Think of the convenience.
[00:20:05] Speaker 5: Right there for, yeah, we're not in High Park anymore. Now we're playing. Yeah, I know. It's very, very close to Asasino's house right there. So anyways, that's what it gets you there in lovely Toronto. So we haven't made or lost $1.8 million today. So that house will be on the back burner for now. But shout out to Marissa. Very nice looking house in a great neighborhood.
[00:20:25] Speaker 4: Rebecca always sends me stuff in like Europe for reasons I know. Oh, Europe? It's like, we're not going to Europe. She's like, do you want to retire to Europe? She's like, no. We're not moving to Europe. She's like, yeah. So I'm like, why don't you always send properties from Europe? She's like, oh, it's just fun to look at. I'm like, okay. Which is fair. They got lots of great architecture in Europe. But I always find that that's bizarre.
[00:20:51] Speaker 5: How bizarre, how bizarre. I mean, I would, depends where my kids do. I would retire in Europe, of course. But depends where my kids are.
[00:20:59] Speaker 4: Well, I'm making the assumption that my daughter's here. Like, I could never see myself retiring somewhere where I was too far away.
[00:21:08] Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you've got to get the grandkids.
[00:21:10] Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what it's all about. My parents live for...
[00:21:12] Speaker 5: Even my current kids. The grandkids.
[00:21:14] Speaker 4: That's all my parents care about.
[00:21:16] Speaker 5: There's nothing, what else do they have to, yeah. I mean, what else are they doing?
[00:21:18] Speaker 4: That's the whole thing. Spoil, spoil, spoil, spoil. Yeah. And apparently I'm being unfamiliar with the concept of window shopping. I'm not much of a, I'm not much of a window shopper. Like, I find if I'm looking for something, it's because I'm getting it. And I know that I am. I've always, I don't know, I guess to each their own. Like, I don't, I'm not much of a look at stuff that I'm not currently thinking about buying. Or at least considering in the near future. But that's just me. And no, not a posh vacation home. If I get a vacation home, to be pretty, like, right now, what I would be thinking about would be, we go to spring training every single year. Like, that's, like, I love baseball. I absolutely love baseball. That's a passion. A condo near the stadium in Dunedin would be pretty cool. And then it's a place where I go every single year, spend some training down there, or walk instead of, well, I mean, whatever. We kind of, we're not that far when we go now. But that would be awesome. But getting back into the market, I mean, I think we've got a little bottom tail. We finally broke this downtrend in SoFi. We broke the 14. We're at 10s. 14.20. 4.20 is a bit of a thing. It was, the morning low was 14.20. And then there was this lower high here at 14.20. So on the trend break, not really thinking VWAP. I'm just thinking 14.20, as we're mentioning before. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Reality. Do I want to buy a home in Scottsdale, Arizona? A dude in my fantasy league is in Scottsdale. He loves it down there. Big golfer. Yeah, you have to be a down there. Well, I mean, I guess that's the thing, right? I'm not much of a golfer. Probably not. As you can tell, the J-Spring training is in Florida, so I'm not really an Arizona guy.
[00:22:59] Speaker 5: Yeah, Florida, you can go a lot of golfing over there. All right, like, rate's still going lower, but my futures position is not doing anything. So where's the stop right here? $73.89. What did I, did I put it in already? No, I didn't, because it's, I mean, we just got kind of filled up right here. $73.89. I mean, honestly, like, we'll stop out for 20 cents. If this breaks, we'll stop out 20 cents. If we can get 20 cents higher, like, I don't even know if we can get that, but we'll pay attention to it. Maybe we can. But anyways, TQs, I don't know if it's going to start to pop through. And the reason why we're going long, just to try to justify it to myself, is there we go. We're finally starting to break through. We tried to break through here, it looks like, as well, where we broke out. I mean, broke out upside, came in, hit it again, held it, and there we go. So I'm trying to see if we can wind up holding right now. I mean, I don't even, I averaged in already, but it was basically right there. So we're trying to do the same move. I'm just trying to be trading as pattern recognition, you know? So it comes in right there. Nice move higher, comes back in into the 50 period, moving average, breaks out again higher. And these moves are like only 30 cents, you know? But the continuation play was red. So there it comes again. So, you know, it came in, broke through. We got the long late, came in, we bought it off the 50. Now you're trying to break lower. I mean, we're probably going to get stopped out, like we said. So, you know, not, oh, did we get it? Nope. We're waiting. So hopefully this doesn't wind up being what it is, but we're going to do our best right now to see if it holds out. And TQ is about to come out, 10 more cents, and we are officially out of that name. So yeah, not, you know, not loving life here with the TQQs, but we'll be fine. And we'll just wait to see what winds up happening now with this name. But that's the long that we have probably busted out, not very many shares, a unit and a half for 20 cents, well in the capabilities over there. And we probably should have got back into Apple. That little wick high at 343, that's kind of where we started this trade. So it did give us, you know, another 30, 40 cents to the downside right now. Obviously, we'd like to see the market pop here, but Apple, an interesting look at these levels, and I don't know what got under Google today, man. I mean, that name just was flying, we fly high, no lie. This is my number one stock, and I think this might be the best stock for me all week. What day is Wednesday? Yeah, that makes sense. All week, just buy, buy, buy. None of our dip buys really went against us. We got stopped out one time into here at 354, I guess, into that. Then we were able to find these levels down there at 352. So I shouldn't say we never got stopped out. We got stopped out a couple of times. But at the end of the day, it's a nice little upside move there for Google. So happy with the way that one's looking right now. But yeah, probably too late to sell everything. We just got to sort of go through this. NASDAQ being down 2% is a, well, I don't know. I saw someone selling everything there, overthinking bear. But yeah, just I think it's too late to sell everything. I think that's being ironic, overthinking bear. Yeah, maybe don't think too hard about this market. I think you just want to sort of stay calm. You know, you're only down 2%. You know, if you're taking a sort of a wider look at it here, NASDAQ's not even down that much, man. I mean, it's not a good couple days. But we are just at all-time highs back on October the 7th. Checks watch a week ago right there. So yeah, a week ago we were at all-time highs and we were laughing. Right now we're at Crimea River. Shout out to Justin Timberlake. We're right here at 7.30 back in May. There we go. We got stopped out. Back in May of this year. So we gave back everything we've made over the summer. We're back to springtime levels right now. But we've been worse. So let's just be patient and wait for these things to develop in again one more time. But yeah, there it is. So we take that out on the TQs. If anything, probably a short now. But, you know, Apple might be the one that I choose to go short again.
[00:26:48] Speaker 4: For the record, I'm just going to show the... We always show TLT. So this time I'm going to... First, before I show TLT, I'm going to show the 10-year on like a three-minute. It just broke. So forget about the full retracement. It just broke to lower than where we were when we got the hot CPI print. And that's, and I'll show you the TLT, which is showing you more of the same. Like, that's the reason to look for reversals into the long. It's like, well, how long does this have to trend up before you think you can get even like a little bit of relief rally? And then the second that broke the high, like SoFi started turning around on its break as well. It's almost as if the yield hitting, breaking through lows somehow stalled the move. Make that make a little bit of sense. But it doesn't have to make sense at all. It just is what it is. And less in the chat is, what's the story with SLV today? Well, hot CPI print. And I think the question I'd be asking myself is, when I put these two side by side, I have no trouble. Like, look at what happened at 8.30, right? 8.30, we're flying to the downside, which means yield's going higher. You see silver and gold flushing, flushing, flushing. But ever since about 9.15 or so, it's been a steady, strong uptrend in treasuries, which is a downtrend in yield. And since that time, we started going up in gold and silver, but we've been going just flushing. That's exactly what the NASDAQ's been doing too. So there's a bit of a disconnect. And we talk about these correlations. They don't have to hold. Man, it can't be like this forever. If we just continue pressing higher and higher on TLT here, I find it hard to believe that you're not getting some kind of rebound. I see that floor here on SLV, and I'd even think reversion there if we keep pressing yields going lower. But for now, the correlation's just not holding. That's just how it is.
[00:28:47] Speaker 5: All right, everybody. More exposure. We just had them on. Less complexity. Power stock ETFs by GlobalX are for single levered access to your stock. Traders looking to put their market view to work. So again, we just had a good example. There's a SpaceX, Nvidia there, Tesla. Get it. It's the Power Stock ETFs by GlobalX for levered single stock access. Great opportunity. Go check. Goop. I like that name. Go check them out as soon as you can, man. Again, we want to thank them for coming through. It's GlobalX. Go check that out, man. They're extra levered single stock moves. So that's kind of cool. We talked about how they were doing oil and gold and different ETFs with the single stock. Very exciting. Very interesting. Go rewind back and check out what they were talking about. It's pretty cool to have them on. And thanks to Dara for, once again, another great interview coming through. All right, man. I mean, I'm going to give it one more try.
[00:29:44] Speaker 4: I was hitting the thank you, Dara.
[00:29:46] Speaker 5: No, that's okay. I mean, I'm just in the future. That's weird because I haven't hit that in a minute. Sometimes it resets. Thank you very much. There we go. Yeah, sometimes it hits the last one there. Thank you, Stream Deck, one more time. But yeah, so we're in this name right here. We're going to give it one more try. Maybe it's being silly. We've fought the law and the law won a bunch of times today. So I don't know. Maybe we'll give this one a little bit lower into 73.80. Maybe that little dip by there. Because of the way this market is moving, I think it's worth giving in just a little bit extra room. This was basically in and out, out there. You know, so a couple, one out, that's it. Now we'll try it again, again, off this move. We'll see if we get something down in the 80s. But yeah, giving it a little bit more room here on this ETF. So, oh, sorry, on this ETF. Oh, yeah, on the TQs. Thank you so much, Kim Jong there. SoFi. Appreciate you. You love it? Oh, Kim Jong maybe does. He's maybe short. You love SoFi.
[00:30:41] Speaker 4: Well, you know. Love the short. If you love SoFi at $17. Well, sorry, $17. What am I talking about? If you love SoFi at $30. Yeah. Then you really liked it at $25. You're loving it. You definitely, you were all over it at $19. And then you load it up at $15. So as it breaks $15, I think we know what's up. It just gets better and better and better. If SoFi turns into my hat size, I'll be very angry with myself. Especially if I sell nothing and it makes a straight shot. If it never retakes the $50 or the $200 period moving average and gets to $7 before doing either of those things, and I've sold nothing, then I've made some kind of a gross mistake on this stock. As a matter of fact, I don't know why I'm not trimming here, but this is the day that it broke $15. I guess I can give it a couple of days. It's ridiculous. Amir, thank you for the message as well from TikTok. Appreciate all our viewers. What's up, Cherry TV? Is the bear market just starting or a small correction? Well, this is at least a happier place. There's enough of looking at a SoFi chart. If you want to get put into your happy place, I don't think we get to talk about a bear market when we were just at highs in this buy and queues. We have a ways to go before you can start throwing that term around. There are plenty of individual names in a bear market. I think we're going a little bit far to consider this a bear market. The banks have to show follow through 100%. The mags, the strong mag names like Microsoft and Apple have to show me that they're a little bit weaker than they, you know, weaker off of these levels. If Microsoft is breaking down 500, if Apple is losing like the 320, like the 50 periods go on those stocks, then I'll be a little bit more concerned. Then we can start talking about the individual names. You should be concerned about SoFi. You should be concerned about your banks losing the 200 period moving average. I think individual stories are certainly true, but the overall market, I'll get worried when the heavy hitters start to lose a bit a little bit more. I try to have a higher time frame look. But for now, I mean, SoFi, I keep wanting to say SoFi. Why am I saying SoFi? It's because it looks like SoFi. Anyway, SoFi is trying to get to that 1420 level. Got another offer there. If it breaks 420, then we'll let it try to get into the volume weighted average price. So, I mean, this stock's in the bear market. But it's also been in the bear market all year?
[00:33:19] Speaker 5: SoFi? Almost.
[00:33:21] Speaker 4: Yeah, probably. Almost. Because the high was $32. And in January, this was at $25. So I think it was. This has been, yeah, SoFi has actually been in the bear market all of 2026. You know how much you stink to be in the bear market all year long and the market's at the highs? Yeah, they're not liking SoFi. No, the more I look at this stock, it's like, what is going on? The SPY is just at highs. NASDAQ is just at highs.
[00:33:48] Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, other bank names, you know, not just at highs, but made highs and SoFi was left behind. You know what else was interesting to look at over the last couple of days, of course, with gold? You know, gold's at an interesting level. I mean, we can talk tech, pretty much we do, all day, every day. But this is an interesting level here, too. I mean, gold had a pretty epic ride through 2025. I mean, I don't think there's any doubt there. I think this is probably one of the, I don't know, I'd have to ask. But unless we go way back, this is one of the best years I've ever seen, for sure. I mean, gold started at 242. I don't know what it was announced, but this is GLD. So 242 back on Jan 1 of 24, all the way up to, let's call it right here, Jan, so 405. So let's call it probably up 75% or more there on GLD that year. Like, that's impressive. And the pullback is maybe equally as impressive if you are short right now, basically pulling back into these lows, 25%. So you want to talk about a bear market, you'd see one there in gold pulling back. But you're right back into those bear market lows again right now. So obviously, you take the bear market from its most recent high rate there, 428 down to 375. That's not going to be it, but it's still down 10%. And looking like we are going to, and we are right now, back into this area. So gold's not overly attractive maybe in this environment because it does not pay any dividend. It's GLD, but you can get gold miners. You can get like AEM as a possibility here. Let's just see what this is falling back into there. Agnico mines. We always hear our good friend Raheem Alani talks about Agnico and, you know, how good they are and all this other kind of stuff. So we'll have to wait to see right now on Agnico mines maybe doing better for most than others right now. But AEM brought it back in, right? Where's the 200 period moving average on Agnico and what is the dividend anyways? I'll have to look that up in a minute. So we've actually now broken back through right in there. So as GLD and gold are more down near sort of these prices right here, Agnico giving you a little bit of a benefit there as a gold miner. And, yeah, just moments away. I'll look it up here just to see because AEM, I want to get some more exposure. Do any of you guys in the chat there have some gold stocks that might be worth a look at? Because this is one of the only ones. There's Barrick and all those other things too that come to mind. Where is the difference? You could just buy the GDX and then get the ETF. Oh, it's only 1%. Yeah, it's only 1%. They're AEM. 1%? Yeah, 1%. And GLD does it. I'm not even going to look up GLD. But anyway, so one thing to look at there for gold. Do you guys like gold in the chat? I don't know. Silver has been pretty volatile as well.
[00:36:29] Speaker 4: You know, the volatility is definitely there. I was just asked. Scott Wilder just asked, oddly enough, about Scott's Miracle Crow. Yes. Which I've never owned it. I think the last time I gave this any serious thought, this stock, was back when everyone was gaga with marijuana names. I haven't, I've really never thought about it since. Oops, that's, oh goodness. It's still on my SoFi monthly chart. So I had to accidentally just look at that one again, which makes me so happy to see it. No, I think a lot of times we had the discussion about stocks that are downward trending. This, if anything, it just looks a little boring. That said, it seems like you've been able to buy at 50, sell 65 to 70 several times. Unless there's something fundamentally broken about it. It's at a pretty good support level on the daily. I'd want to do this, which is look at a higher time frame and always do so. Like you go to a weekly or a monthly, because if it's not going to be a fundamental case, it's got to be, oh, is it a good tradable level? Then you look at the monthly, go even further back, and you sort of see this pattern where it's just had a hard bottom underneath 50 bucks. 40 to 50 has been a buy, and then anything above 75, like 70 to 75 is a sell. Problem with that is, that's only good until it stops holding support. And if it stops holding support, well, you know what happens next. So, you know, the monthly chart, it kind of looks okay where you're buying the dips and you have the out at this 20, 22 low, and you're just sort of scalping it. Nothing wrong with that. I remember I used to do that with Occidental back when Buffett would buy it in the 50s.
[00:38:11] Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
[00:38:12] Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd buy some in the 50s, and I'd just constantly take out 20, 40%, get the return, and then you reload. The whole time you're getting a divvy as well, and then all of a sudden Buffett stopped buying it, and it broke the levels. He had to stop doing it after a couple of years. I think it's probably something similar with SMG. But you know what we got to do is head on up from the window to the wall. Oh, okay. I can't cheat. I don't know. Oh, wait a minute. Now I can see a little bit better. It looks like United in leadership, so I'm going to guess it's a certain healthcare name that reported Adaira's going to do this. Oh, okay.
[00:38:44] Speaker 2: You'd be correct, Neil. Here's today's segment of To the Window, To the Wall, where I pull up an infographic window, and we discuss it on the wall. And this has to do with UNH's very interesting leadership history. Now this is going to refer exclusively to UnitedHealth, not UnitedHealthcare. So certain tragic incidences in December of 2024 are not related to this visual. This purely has to do with the wider company, which is UnitedHealth. So let's get into this. This is interesting here. The company went public in 1984 under the leadership of founder Richard Burke. He left in 1987. Now you might notice this gap here. This gap is because UNH, as far as I have been able to research, did not have a CEO for three years. Instead, different executives kind of shared leadership duties. So there is a three-year, no-CEO period for UNH. This is, as far as I can gather, true. Interesting stuff. William McGuire leads for just over 15 years here. I believe he is the CEO as well. I first made this infographic over a year ago. But he's the guy who had to leave because there were some conflicts of interest. He had to leave the company. Next up is Stephen J. Helmsley, name we'll talk about again here. His first tenure as CEO of the company lasts about 11 years. He sends the stock up 300%. Then we get a strong performance during the four-year or so tenure of David S. Wickman, who takes the stock up about 66%. Things get a bit unfortunate for Sir Andrew Witte, who was the CEO. And again, he had a lot of tragedies under his tenure. He did take the stock to new all-time highs. But then, unfortunately, there was, of course, the situation with Brian Thompson, which is not a good look here for the company. It, unfortunately, led to a lot of negative sentiment for the company. There were a whole bunch of investigations into the company. He announced his resignation out of nowhere, out of the blue, on, I believe, May 13th, 2025. So he's gone. Then, former CEO Stephen J. Helmsley becomes new CEO of UnitedHealth. And I guess he officially starts here in June of 2025. Still the leader. Right now, stock up only a paltry 12.5% under his tenure. So, roughly flat. Certainly not the 300-plus percent performance that he shepherded during his first tenure, but he also had 11 years. So let's see if things get better here. He's now been in the leadership position for just under 18 months. This is a look here, again, at UnitedHealth's leaders. From the very beginning, all the way back to 1984, you can find this visual posted today on X at TTV Research. I have a UNH visual I posted yesterday. It's actually quote-tweeted to this, so you can see it if you look at this visual. Another UNH visual for Earnings Day 3 will be posted tomorrow. Back to you.
[00:41:13] Speaker 5: All right. We just – I mean, I don't know why we keep trying to go long on this market. Oh, by the way, there's AEM again. Yeah, because the long and no workout right there to the downside again right here. So maybe is it time to finally go short the TQQs? We'll see. Are we going to be finally a good idea or maybe not now? Yeah, just trying to fight all these lines. Look, I mean, I was actually thinking to myself, like, Self, you need to get a strategy for the afternoon. And you guys know that, like, the mornings have just been crazy good. And we've gotten some really good bangers there. But when you come back in the afternoon, I'm trying to trade a little bit of trend. And that's what I was saying. And today, like, no idea why, and that's why I said, like, why we actually decided to go against the trend and went long. You know, the Apple trade is a little bit of a different story. We went short there, which was good because I was thinking it was, again, like, just – look, we made money on Apple. Nothing wrong with it. But, you know, we – this would be the only name to go long on, a name that's strong against the market. So we'll – I don't want to just keep on – I think the best thing when you can't figure out what to do, and, again, you know, you'll hear the confidence in my voice and everything, especially in the morning when we actually have on, you know, bigger share size and different positions when we actually work on our note, is that you want to make sure that if there's nothing that's, like, screaming to you, that you don't really load up and you don't take on too much risk. Because that's the number one thing in this kind of a market, right, is that you don't really want to be overexposed too much to any kind of downside play or upside, right, if you're feeling one way or the other. Put it on. See if it works out. See if you can maybe scalp out, hold out, whatever. Make some profits here or there. But definitely don't get too carried away and worried about, like, okay, it's 2.42. I need to make my day or I haven't made it yet or anything like that. Because, you know, in trading, it's not like you're all emptying out your positions today or, like, taking money out of your account. You're going to probably be back in – ooh, I was bidding 61s. We just got missed there. You'll be back in tomorrow. So, you know, we have PPI coming tomorrow. Might be a decent idea to hold on to the shorts. I mean, CPI came today. And CPI wasn't horrible. I mean, it was slightly hotter. It was point –
[00:43:28] Speaker 4: A little bad.
[00:43:29] Speaker 5: Yeah, 0.6 versus 0.5, 3 point something versus – it wasn't even that bad. But at the end of the day, the yields shot up, which made sense. But then this move coming back down right now, if someone would have told me that this is what happened and this is what we're doing now, there's no way I would have thought that NASDAQ or the market would be at lows of the day when this 10-year came right back.
[00:43:49] Speaker 4: That's the biggest surprise of the day by far. Yeah. By far.
[00:43:53] Speaker 5: Something to consider there.
[00:43:55] Speaker 4: Which also throws – I'm finding – the hardest thing about this afternoon is two things. Like, yesterday, two trades in the afternoon. One was Moderna was moving enough for a mean reversion. And then the other is just BNR short VWAP. Right? Like, it's just – but nothing's at VWAP. Like, anything that's weak is too close to the lows. Like, there's not – like, there isn't – there's no weak stocks in the afternoon today that you can short off VWAP and we're 2% down. Like, joining the trend on a short the pop, there's not much out there. So, I'm looking for those mean revert type plays. I had – I was going to mention this name, WEF. WFF. On off chance, it breaks the $2 level. Now, I don't know what locates are right now, but I paid for them – I paid for shorts this morning when nothing was happening on the stock. And they were, like, 0.00 something. Yeah. It was, like, basically free. My guess is after the stock did more volume than it did all day yesterday, like, halfway through lunchtime, locates probably went higher, but they were cheap when I got them. So, I do have locates on this. It has bounced off of $2, like, $2.03, $2.02 here, like, multiple times. I'm just looking for the breakdown underneath $2 for quick sculpture. So, I do have WFF, whatever that company is called. I don't even know.
[00:45:16] Speaker 5: I think it's WF International or something.
[00:45:18] Speaker 4: Oh, WF Holder, yeah.
[00:45:19] Speaker 5: WF Holder. It is nothing. And it's – Orange. Well, let's say it's a Malaysian company.
[00:45:23] Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't know what they do.
[00:45:24] Speaker 5: A Malaysian company. Shout out to one. Maybe one knows this company. Maybe one does know WFF.
[00:45:27] Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe. I just know that if it breaks two, I want to be short this breakdown. But it hasn't happened yet. He is wondering what it is. I think everyone is wondering what it is because it's probably no thing burger. Well played with the joke drones. Need a new – I don't know. I want a new graphic. I have all the same stuff. Like, I feel like I just want one thing that's new.
[00:45:49] Speaker 5: Yeah, you got to think of what you want.
[00:45:50] Speaker 4: Well, I do know what today is because I'm going to keep hitting this one for the 2% down on the market, for the 8% down on SoFi, for the bloodbath that is Core Weave, and for the graphic that Sean's about to show. So, we go to Sean's screen.
[00:46:07] Speaker 6: Emotional damage.
[00:46:09] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[00:46:10] Speaker 5: Is that one that you requested?
[00:46:11] Speaker 4: Oh, I asked – yeah. Oh, a long time ago. But I asked for that one and got it like six months after I asked for it.
[00:46:16] Speaker 5: I mean, emotional damage today is pretty much widespread. Marvell down seven. Oracle down nine. Don't tell Sharif, but Palo Alto down five over there. My guy Joe's not sitting there, but, yeah, CrowdStrike, all these names, man, and then the banks getting hit today. Morgan Stanley down 4% off earnings, not good at all. You know, but these tech services there, Palantir down four, Oracle, Palo Alto, IBM, all getting clapped. Of course, Netflix, for some reason, flat on the day. That's interesting. Service now up. So, there's something. Adobe. We just talked about that. I think that was Joe's – said something about the tech rec yesterday. We all picked different names. Adobe. I think it was either Joe's or Adara's. I don't know. Okay, yeah, so there was Adobe over there going through. But, you know, we've already talked about the healthcare names. Obviously, when tech gets wrecked, health technology, huge. And we talked about buying more XPI. So, you know, Eli Lilly's been a big one. J&J's been a big one for us as well to sort of help, you know, quell this move to the downside. This is a big problem today. And a lot of it, obviously, G.E. Renova, wow, down 8% there. Lumentum down 9%. Deer holding out, man. And only flattish on the day there for Deer. Oh, yeah, that's right. I don't see ASML. I was looking for you.
[00:47:33] Speaker 4: Deer is your – that's your industrial name that is not going to be tied into this AI trade. I think that's, like, rotating – it's long overdue. I said it the other day. I'm like, why not – I should have rotated some of – Yeah, I mean, Deer's down, too. Of GE. And then just buy the dip on that because then you're not doom and gloom if the AI trade goes under. And I actually have some of what I'm supposed to have. Exposure in – Caterpillar and G.E. Renova is no longer industrial exposure. It's now just more AI trade.
[00:48:03] Speaker 5: That is what it is. It's more AI trade.
[00:48:04] Speaker 4: Not to interrupt, but what's going on with AEHL?
[00:48:08] Speaker 5: That was that name we looked at earlier.
[00:48:10] Speaker 4: Yeah, but it started to really lose a bit. And volume – it's picking up volume in the afternoon for the wrong reasons for a gapper. Usually, when you see a gapper have increasing volume going into power hour, it's because it's going up. Not that it's falling. Like, this is falling on increased volume. It's not dropping enough that I would think offering or anything like that. But if this is just technical, maybe this is a breakdown instead of WEF. But I see some funky bids, too. Like, there's – you see how there's no size? And then there's just, like, all these bids down here. Maybe someone trying to push it up. So it kind of looks fishy. Like, there's buyers down here despite the increased volume on the sell side. If there's anything going on that we don't know about, like, it's 30 cents away from being halted down. For what reason? Like, it's kind of actually halted to the downside at some point.
[00:48:58] Speaker 5: Yeah, Maestro, Fresh, WEF there. So we'll wait to see if that one can eventually – you know, I guess – the whole thing. I heard in the midday there were some traders there, Tisha and so on and so forth, that were kicking it right there with WFF. Of course, now I decided to go short the market. And it's – yeah, it's kind of made its way all the way back up. Like, you couldn't do that before. You know, like, we get stopped down there. We did have a good buy. We bought some at – you guys saw me at 62. But here we go, getting excited again. Like, the minute I decide to say, you know what, I'm going to throw my hands up and go short, that's when it looks like they want to say whackity whack whack right now back in. But, again, you know, down – we're short right here at 75s, it's at 83s. Like, if you don't – if I don't like it or you guys are following, you can get out. I don't know. I was just like, let me just change it up a little bit, try to go a little short here and see if we can't, you know, print something on the short side. So, you know, we'll be short the TQs, which is the S&P – or, sorry, the NASDAQ 100, triple levered. Just going to give it up to 74. You know, don't really – I mean, we can go to 7406s. But, again, this is an ETF, right, levered. So, it's not like it's going to stop on a dime here. We need to have the whole market decide to turn itself around. And if that doesn't happen, then, yeah, man, the short's going to get whacked. And all we've done is just sort of throw some money away in this little area. So, you know, maybe waiting for it to break out, do something else. You don't need to be sitting here and trading, that is for sure, especially if you don't see anything. And right now, we just said, like, you know, getting out at 80 there might have been the right move. But, you know, we'll hold it. We'll see if we're going to be right or wrong on this trade now. Yeah, I think you might be right.
[00:50:32] Speaker 4: Apparently, you should have paid for locates in AHL. Still going down. We're just talking about – it just dropped $2 and halted down. 96% up. Like, it's now down $7 in the last 15 minutes. Oh, this is going to break fire again. And halted at the low of the day. It wouldn't have mattered. I couldn't have gotten locates as fast as that just halted down after we were talking. Even if I had processed them right away, I'm not getting short. But if you are in the short, it seems like this is just flat out falling apart. AEHL, it's still up 100%, but that's because, well, I mean, you guys can see. It's still filling in the gap. Unless you – there's no point at which you could have bought it today that you're not now out of the money. Even if you got the low print at the open, you'd still be technically out of the money. This could close the rest of the gap in. Nasty. Maybe there's a dead cat bounce at $10 on AEHL. What's the deal with this – is this a former SPAC? Anytime I see one of these things just hovering around – What was the news there on that stock there?
[00:51:31] Speaker 5: What was the news on this AEHL? Yeah, what's the deal here? Remember we looked at it, and we always thought it was A-E-H-R, and we were like, oh, yeah, we know this name, and then came through it.
[00:51:40] Speaker 2: Would you believe me if I said there was no news on it, the most recent news on this? Oh, my mic's having an issue.
[00:51:47] Speaker 5: Yeah, I hear it. A little crinkly over there. Okay, so no new news. No new news. All right. Yeah, nice move back up to the upside there on the NASDAQ. We saw a name that was Oracle. That was down 9%. And, I mean, you know, if something happens here – like, why am I even trading the NASDAQ 100 here when you can clearly see that, you know, trading something like Oracle, I wouldn't have even lost anything instead of just getting thrown around here trading these TQQs right now. Oracle, if you just want to kind of gone short on a weak name, you would have been completely fine off this 25-period moving average. Fading every single pop there on Oracle might have been the way to go. The futures are very, very interesting right now because we are at a spot where we're going to have to start making some kind of decisions on what we want to do because you're trying to bounce right now off that 50-period moving average. So we've come back in just a little bit. I'm thinking about taking a little bit of pressure off here at 80 on these Qs. The last time we, you know, came down into here, we bought rate back up and we spiked through. So, again, I just bid 80 and we just get missed again. There we go. Give it to me now. There we go. Okay, nice move down. All right, now we're finally – whatever, man. Hopefully, we can make a move in and we get actually a fill that is good for us. We can get out for flat right now if you don't like this trade. But the futures, again, or the NASDAQ 100 right here, trying to fall back in. And maybe we do, maybe we don't. But, you know, being patient and waiting for 90s would have been much better. Our average price is 77. That's a shame because if we had 90s right now, I probably would be thinking about making a move to the outside here. But for right now, let's hold this and see what winds up happening. A little bit more pressure going to come off right now at 75 if we're able to get that. Sorry, 76 if we're able to get that. We're still bidding. It's not coming through. So, maybe there it is. Okay, there it is. 70s. We just got 70s. That was a good fill. We got 71, sorry, on the downside. So, this name, the futures, the NASDAQ 100, trying to print low ball right now. One more. How about this? One more out at 71. Make me a little happy. Whew. Okay. Lucky to have a little bit of a reversal there. We'll take some more out there at 71, as we said. And then, you know, thankfully, almost close to getting stopped out there on a break of 74, as you guys saw. So, you know, we'll now let this one sort of breathe a bit. Maybe the move isn't done to the downside. People saying we're at fib levels and stuff. So, you know, we could definitely get a bounce in and around here. Let's be patient and see what winds up happening.
[00:54:07] Speaker 4: Yeah, but there's nothing. We can be at all the fib levels we want. Right. Like, the trend down hasn't broken. Like, I don't, I don't know. I'm only thinking long in things that are broken trend. And, to me, that's the only reason we're in so far. But, even I just took some more out at the 10 level there. It got up to 15s at the most on that 14 break. Couldn't even get to the 20s. It's just really stalled out here. So, I'm going to be done with it. WEF, WFF, WEF, still holding on to 2. I think if that loses 2, I still have the breakdown for that order. And shout out to those that mentioned Moderna. Yeah, Moderna's at $225. Well, we told you where the strength has been when tech is weak. Obviously, this kind of qualifies for that. It's been trend up. Everything about it has been strong. It was a decent trend reverse at the end of the day. You had to be very, very patient with it. It didn't end up breaking down until 3.15. And, even then, it went 2.17.5 to about 2.14. So, it didn't give all that much back. But, it's a very similar pattern from before. But, look at what it started doing on the 15 minute. Get these topping tail candles and then lower highs. What that actually looked like here to get into the short. Oops, too far. To get into the short was, see these topping tails? Hammer down, lower high, hammer down. Like, the short was in there. It's done nothing to show signs. It's still making higher highs at this point on mRNA. So, would I be looking at the short? Sure. Why not? It could be a trend break. But, it's still looking pretty strong in my book. Throw up the... Oh, what's the news here? U.S. deal can't prevent another... I'm just realizing I don't have the... Oil's not moving, so who cares? It's probably not a big deal. Cheese in a chair. Thank you for the super chat. For what it's worth, here's my high conviction swing trade list. E-W-Z, E-W-Z-S, and ballsy, B-O-L-S-Y, going into the Brazilian election. Okay. Iran spikes oil into the midterms to oust the GOP. Simple. Certainly, I'm sure they're trying. That's exactly what they want. Why the conviction on the way the Brazilian election is going to go? I mean, I'll... The only thing I know about it is that they have a runoff, and the more conservative-leaning candidate was in the lead. That was the last thing I knew. Outside of that, I really don't know much else. But if you... So in my ear, as Asino says, right now, it's tied. So it looks like it's a coin flip. So why are you... So I'm curious as to why cheese in a chair is confident if right now it's effectively a coin flip. You got some insight in a coin flip. That's always good.
[00:56:41] Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, maybe. We'll have to see. I mean, I don't know enough about it, but E-W-Z, a great way of doing that. Yeah, we'd express the trade. Yeah, for sure, E-W-Z. We have E-W-Y. What is that down today? Let's go check out what's going on in South Korea. I mean, we do know that this is very dominated by memory names. SK Hynix, of course, number one over there. We'll have to wait to see 160-50. Nice downside move in the E-W-Y. Let me actually take a quick look at SK Hynix and see what's going on over there. Ooh, back into 148. Wow, okay. Oh, man. This one has been beat down SK Hynix, man. I mean, we saw Cerebris give it up as well yesterday. You know, a different kind of memory name there for Cerebris. But it's SK Hynix, one, two, three, four, five, six, Fougues, seven, eight. So we have basically seven of the last eight days red. And the funny thing is, the little green day in there is exactly that. Just a little wee one, you know, doesn't even make up, probably half, half up on what was down. You know, and as a percentage, because the stock was $200, these down moves are actually bigger percentages than this little up move right there. Like yesterday, what, did we open at 154 and close at 156? So that $2 is wiped there today by a down $8 move by SK Hynix. So, yeah, man, I mean, it keeps on getting to the downside. I liked it at 130. I think I try it there, maybe. I mean, I don't have... Micron, I had said, like, low 800s is where that 200-period moving average is. Now, that means 10% down from here. You would say that that would potentially be unlikely, you know, many moons ago. But in today's moon, you know, maybe it is doable because there it is right there, 790, 800. You know, that would, if we got into there, that, again, goes back to May. There was something else. Or looking at the NASDAQ was back to May levels. So it also looks like Micron would be back to May levels as well. But NASDAQ's right there right now. And, of course, there's May 26. So Micron has had a huge move higher. And then, you know, what about one of the best names of 2025 into 2026, of course, SanDisk. This name has been an absolute roller coaster for investors, especially as of lately. Literally, like, you know, boom, boom, back and forth, up and down. Like, this hill ride never seems to stop. Actually, it looks very, very similar to Micron. We're a little closer to the 200-period moving average right now with SNDK. So maybe plug your nose and buy it right here. One of these things is going to be true, man. Either the NASDAQ continues to fall down or you're going to come through and find great buying opportunities. Maybe some of the best of the year right now, especially if you're looking at memory. They've been really getting hit. I like SK Hynix. We were just at 200 bucks two weeks ago.
[00:59:33] Speaker 4: 4.4 forward P on SK Hynix. I know. If you don't like that cheapness. And if you don't know, well, now you know. That's me not saying it, but saying it. We know what we can say, everybody, is that Globex PowerStock ETF is here and built in leverage exposure. You got no margin account, no boring to manage on six tech stocks. We talked about Tesla already, Globex, SpaceX, NVIDIA, all there for you. And you can learn more at betapro.ca if you're interested, including, it's too cool not to show it. I mean, come on. Too cool for school. I could probably look at that graphic all day long. If there's one thing that would be really, really cool, I wouldn't want to fly one of these things. I can't fly. But just sit and go for the ride in like an F-18 or just, I can only imagine. Oh, man, yeah, the power that you'd feel there. Just, I'd imagine there's nothing like it. Yikes. And like I said, I have a cousin who flew for the Navy, but he threw like, he's a cop. He never flew anything like that. Yeah, you were saying that. That's awesome. It's just like, how cool would that be?
[01:00:49] Speaker 5: Oh, wasn't he all about those simulators and everything?
[01:00:51] Speaker 4: Oh, no, that's his younger brother. Oh, younger brother, okay. So my, yeah, a couple of cousins, they're both pilots. One flew for the Navy. And then, so he parlayed that into flying. So he flew like the SWAT helicopters for the Ottawa police. What? Helicopter? Yeah. So he was like, he was like the police helicopter guy. That's insane. For years. He's been, you know, retired now. But his younger brother, he does a lot of simulator training. I can't tell the stories that he says. My brother did simulator stuff. I can't, the amount of stories that he tells about trainees on the simulator, they're hilarious. But I don't think they'd instill a sense of confidence, so I'll leave them alone for now.
[01:01:28] Speaker 5: My brother did it in high school. He had, he did some, he actually flew a plane before, my brother. Yeah, one of those little, no, no. And I, actually at Turner. Might as a pilot? No. No, no, no. At Turner, they had some sort of, and it was when he was there. Our high school had this? No. I'll have to double check. I think it, I think it was high school. But no, he's only a year younger. No, it must have been at Queens. So, at his university. So they did, yeah. He just flew like a little duster plane with someone there. Like, completely, but he actually did do some of that. So he has some sort of a, some sort of a license, but I don't know what it is. It's definitely expired. He hasn't talked about that in a minute. And then he also did skydiving. Well, you told me about that. I'm not. So did my brother, and then you couldn't pay me. I'm not. I mean, are you guys skydivers out there? I mean, I take enough risk in this market, I feel like. I don't know if I could put that on there. But I think it changes when you have a family.
[01:02:23] Speaker 4: The worst that could happen is you lose on a trade. I mean, I.
[01:02:26] Speaker 5: No, I know what you're saying.
[01:02:27] Speaker 4: I don't want to say it, but you guys know what I'm saying.
[01:02:29] Speaker 5: With a family right now, let's go. Money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money, money. Hallelujah. And we don't, we don't say that. Well, we kind of do say it lightly. Maybe. I mean, we might need some intervention in this market, I think, maybe. Thank you, Andre. This guy's the best, man. Andre is, the amount of game that Andre has stepped up over here, like, you know, with these little things. You just say, what in the hell is even that? And boom, it comes in, comes in automatically almost. But there's the move right here. So we finally said that we're going to trade trend. Okay. And yeah, finally there, that last short. Was it almost stopped out? Yes, it was. And, you know, again, we talk about losing hair, this and that. It's a very stressful thing. But if we continue to do this, the NASDAQ is right now back at lows. So we went from losing, losing, losing, looking like an idiot, this and that, blah, blah, blah, what happens every day, back and forth, back and forth. Then eventually we took a little bit of a short here. That was wrong. We cashed out a little bit. Then we averaged it up right into our lines and kablamo, downside right there. Shablamo. Shablamo, yeah. Nice move to the downside right there. Shebang. As we get into 54. Give me that 54. Give me that nut. No. Down into 54. We'll see if we can grab that. Shout out to Eazy-E. Praising. Eazy-E. Right there. Great day. Only makes Eazy's pay day. You know what I mean? So everybody that's over there in Compton. You know, I was telling this to Sia before. Like, I'm from the streets of Brampton and I just was going some Compton. Oh, here we go. To the downside right there. I'm sure Compton and Brampton, similar. Are you crazy? No? No?
[01:04:18] Speaker 4: I've actually been to Compton once when I was a kid. I'm just playing around, man. Brampton, come on. It's different. I'm just saying. Like, you hear a... I remember we were walking with my cousin and we heard a noise and I was... He's like, what? Huh? And he's just, like, chilling. I'm like, yeah, but he's like, no, I was far away. I'm like, no, it wasn't. I'm like, no, it wasn't. Like, that sounded like it was pretty... No, that's blocks me.
[01:04:42] Speaker 5: Oh, here in Toronto, we were just, again, at a great neighborhood. And honestly, we were there sitting, had a practice about two months ago. And all of a sudden, we hear, like, bop, bop, bop, bop, like that, real quick, right? And we had a guy, one of our coaches is a paramedic. He's like, that is gunshots for sure. And I was like, yeah, yeah, right, whatever. So we went through our practice, this and that. And about a few minutes later, we just see all these 5-0s go boom, boom, heading right by us, right down. And apparently, I phoned Marissa and there's a website you could do to check out the Toronto police or whatever, like, just gives you what radio calls are happening. And yeah, sure enough, it was shots fired. So, yeah, you never know. You know, if you're in a big metropolis, I mean, even though guns are not permitted here in Canada, I mean, depends on what style you have, of course, and if you have the proper permits. But at the end of the day, still violence. Yeah, just be safe and, you know, give your loved ones a hug every single day. Did you hear about that guy? Unfortunately, he got thrown out of a roller coaster. It's honestly... Like, what in the hell?
[01:05:42] Speaker 4: They are closing... They actually shut down the Leviathan. Yeah, the two big ones. Wef just broke the bid. Oh, I can't show it to you. Shoot. We are now almost... Wef just broke the $2 level. I was trying to... Were you long? No, short. Okay, nice. I was trying to show you the bid, but it doesn't really matter. How much were those? No, I paid for locates when it was doing nothing, and when it did this, I just happened to have them, but it finally broke the $2 level. There were all kinds of stacked bids. I was trying to show you guys the level two, but by the time I could show them, it filled them all into $80, so we just scalped it from $97 into $80 for a quick short. But you know what? Now that I'm thinking about it, like, the market's breaking down. It's $3.06. So far, I don't want to go any further. Are we going to close at the lows? Like, it's... The only good thing with SoFi is it's holding the bid, but this is trend breakdown to go long. That's not the best drawn, but you get the idea. Trend breakdown, it's now breaking that upward trend. So to even get a long that works when the market's heading through lows, like, that's confirming the trend break. So I'm going to hop out of that one, but that was wild on Wef, and they're still refreshing that level, that $180. So there was size there at $1.80 anyways on the two break, but they're now refreshing that level. So there's an iceberg order at the $1.80 where we scalped out in front. I don't know that I would reshort it if it breaks the $1.80. Maybe I want to short a pop in here somewhere, but you're patient. You wait for it. All good to go. And AH, no way. AHL is halted down again. This might actually get to $10. Unbelievable. And locates are expensive on this one. And they're probably even more expensive now. Now, this is going to give up the entirety of the move. So that's, I guess, yeah. When you guys brought it to our attention, I thought maybe there was some news happening on this, but no, it just appears like it's bleeding. I'm going to look for refill, if I can, in Wef on any kind of a pop. Maybe it'll try to jump back up, short it back into two or into VWAP, something like that. But just go from scalped trade to scalped trade. We'll keep eyes on that AHL for everybody. I hope nobody's trapped long in that thing.
[01:07:53] Speaker 5: No, do not. Do not get trapped long. It's a trap. Okay, so now we don't have to do it. All right, so TQs, again, like trying to go back to the upside now. We've just actually cleaned it out pretty much the majority of the position right now. I'd say we have on about 25% left. I do kind of want to be like Elsa and just let it go. But there it is. He found it. But I just want to wait. Yeah. So I wanted to say, yeah, I just bigged up Asasino, too. But, yeah, so there it goes. But that's a hard one to find. I mean, out of nowhere, he found that one, you know. It's almost like me saying, like, I got to draw a line in the sand. If he can find that one quickly, then honestly, man. I don't have that one. He better just have a performance review because he needs to get a raise over there. But, you know, okay. So anyways. Okay. Someone wants a raise. Okay. But, yeah. All right, there. But there is a nice move to the downsides. We're having a good time. We just, I mean, once you start to break near those lows again right here, you can see a bunch of outs, a bunch more. We'll try to hold out and see if eventually we get a little more love with this trade. But here it comes right back up. Hey, guys. I'm stopping out if we break, you know, a little bit above. We poked our head a bit above last time. 90s into 97. So 700 more cents above here. And we should be able to think about getting out. I'm going to put one more bid here at 53. Give it to me. Yeah. All right. So there it is. So now we'll get a little less. Now we have about 15% left of this position. Now we'll be like Elsa and let it go. But we have to put our order in right now. That's going to be, I mean, even if we get to here, fine. Let's go 73.85. All right. 73.85. We have the option here of using 100%, 25%, 50%, 75%. But we're going to go all hun. We're going to get out right there. We're going to put an offer, enter, and do all of that before. Okay. We have this. I was actually going to look to see if we had any TikTok gifts as well. But what up, traders? What up, AlexTheGur8? I like that name there.
[01:09:59] Speaker 4: That's a good one. Well.
[01:10:01] Speaker 5: Miss you guys. But sold my B-Wet. So if you sold your B-Wet, then.
[01:10:05] Speaker ?: Oh, my God.
[01:10:06] Speaker 5: You'll probably be, yeah, be wetting the beak on that one. That was a good, that was definitely a good trade. Let's read what else he has to say before we see more puns. Like, what are we even doing? Oh, okay. And took family to Dollywood. Oh, in India. Is that, oh, that's Bollywood. Oh, Dollywood. Memphis, I guess, right? Isn't that where that is?
[01:10:24] Speaker 4: I don't know where it is.
[01:10:25] Speaker 5: I read Bollywood. I don't know where Dollywood is. Dollywood there. So absolutely fantastic. And I think it's either, is she Memphis, Tennessee? I'm not sure. Where is it?
[01:10:33] Speaker 4: I'm waiting for the chat to tell us where it is.
[01:10:36] Speaker 5: Shout out to Neil, Sean, Sharif, Joe, one, Adara, Sia, Fabian, et cetera. Nashville, that makes sense. Nashville, Tennessee. Okay, Tennessee, right. Okay. So that was a good one.
[01:10:43] Speaker 4: The state's right.
[01:10:44] Speaker 5: Duh. All right. Awesome. I mean, and that's what you should do. Neil and I will talk about that all the time. You know, do things. You talked about going to baseball. Take vacations. Take family vacations, man. And definitely congratulate you. You're building memories, man. That's what I'm saying. You're building those core memories. And especially on such an important year, obviously, for Dolly Parton, a passing. And I'm sure there was some nice memorials there, whatever there was. But, you know, congratulations there, Alex. And, yeah, do all kinds of stuff like that. Time is way too short. And especially if you have kids. Like, I look over and it's like, oh, my God. Like, Marissa just got a message. Barron's downtown right now, rolling around downtown because his high school guy, they had something, a wellness something, and they're out of that now. So he might actually even stop by here. So Barron the Great might be here very, very soon. He wants to say what's up to Joe over there, one of his new favorite guys over there. Joe is loving this market moving down because we can buy more. And he's not wrong with that, by the way.
[01:11:42] Speaker 4: First of all, Joe is dressed like a burglar today.
[01:11:44] Speaker 5: Wait, what do you mean? That's my thing. I told you this is what this guy looks like when he's wearing all black.
[01:11:48] Speaker 4: It's all black with the toque on. Like, he's like, I'm the one that's supposed to be stealing a fridge. I don't know what you're doing in all black.
[01:11:56] Speaker 5: That fridge thing is getting a lot of love over here. Don't worry about it. I did notice there was no eggs left for anybody else. Like, there was a lot of people here today. I don't know, man. The complaint farm might keep going.
[01:12:07] Speaker 4: We've got to worry about it.
[01:12:08] Speaker 5: And if she checks out some cameras, Sharif is going to get fired.
[01:12:12] Speaker 4: It's taxation. It's taxation. You took more than your fair share, and we've got to take some back. I'm not going to tell you what I'm doing. I have a question about B-Wet, though.
[01:12:22] Speaker 5: Nothing's going to happen to Sharif. I'm just playing around.
[01:12:24] Speaker 4: What I'm curious about with B-Wet is, where did you get back into this thing? Like, did you buy the dip?
[01:12:32] Speaker 5: Oh, I thought that was on the way down, B-Wet.
[01:12:34] Speaker 4: That's why I was like, congratulations. Remember when we were talking about this? Like, when it had the first down, I'm like, yeah, well, this thing's probably done. When you get parabolic like this, the first down move is usually a death keel. No, it was a straight up, that was the low. On the first hammer-down candle, it made a fresh low and then almost doubled up again. So I would be a little bit curious. I'm assuming it's like somewhere in here you got the break back out. Maybe it's another hammer-down trade. This thing has been insane. Just so you know, this is not liquid. It does a couple hundred thousand shares a day. A couple hundred thousand. That's it. All right. Moderna is getting close to potential breakdown, but I'm not thinking it yet. It's still 315. There's been a few questions that I've left unanswered about Rivian. I don't know that there's anything more to say about... All you can say for something like Rivian is if rates are going higher, that's very bad for them, that's being portrayed here in the stock. It's been in a downtrend for the last three months anyways, and it's losing the support, the only support it's had this year, which is around 13 bucks. 13 to 14. It's literally losing that. There's nothing positive about this name. Maybe wait for 10 bucks. That could be good. But to me, this lost... Like, this lost the structure a while ago. Like, have a look at what... Have a look at what this was doing. Forget about today. Since 2024, it's been putting in distinct higher lows, not as clean with the higher highs. It broke that pattern two days ago. Today is, like, the culmination of that. So, I think this is a bearish look on Rivian, at least until it maybe retests down 9, 10 bucks. Those are my thoughts on Rivian. I think it's similar to SoFi. I'm glad I just distracted myself from... See, it's a good thing I didn't look at Moderna. Because Moderna was breaking this trend. I was very close to thinking, okay, this is a little confirmation holding lower. Nope. It's powering right back through 225, so I'm not sure this is time yet. Hold a higher low. Sorry, the lower high. And then the short trade can be there for us. So, I think it's going to be a nothing burger. Just because it reverted at the end of the day yesterday doesn't mean it's going to today. Like, it did this right at about the same time it broke down and gave you the short end of the close. But that's a nice pattern. It's not really doing the same thing here. So, like, the short, at this time yesterday, again, it was lower high breaking down. Today, it's trying to put in a lower high. It just hasn't done it yet. So, I'm going to stay away from Moderna. Maybe go back over to that WEF stock. Someone's loading up at $1.80. It's crazy.
[01:15:15] Speaker 5: Oh, WEF, yeah.
[01:15:15] Speaker 4: Yeah, well, there is a refresher at it. Obviously, it just broke. It's going to hold.
[01:15:22] Speaker 5: There it goes. Yeah. As soon as you think you have a strategy on these names, it's like.
[01:15:26] Speaker 4: I was about to say, maybe I should take the break of $1.80. Like, the break of two. And then this one breaks that $1.80 buyer. There was a refresher at $1.80. The second it broke, now it's halted down. That's what needed to happen when it broke two. But there was somebody loading up at $1.80. Thoughts and prayers for whoever that was with the Iceberg 80 at $1.80. That Iceberg order, they just got destroyed. Roushish, thoughts on the break is. Did it break?
[01:15:52] Speaker ?: Yeah.
[01:15:52] Speaker 4: Hold on a second. Oh. See, now I'm the one that's too. Holy, that's down 9%. Now, I'm the one that's too slow on the graphic. Ring the register. Oh, I have a ring the register one. No, I did get to it. I was just way too slow. See, now the thing about it is if you rewind to a couple of days ago, when I said, hey, this stock is losing the 50-period moving average. I got to take profit on it. If you haven't out, now all of a sudden, and I wish, I'll get to SoFi in a second because same thing on SoFi would have saved a lot of money. See, now all of a sudden, if I like it back at $80, or I like it at the 200-period, or I like it at 85, I can just get back in. But the structure was hold the low, break the 50, 50-period SMA. And then it breaks off 80. So the obvious long is at 80. It holds on to 80 for a while. But, you know, now that you've broken this 50-period, what seems like for good, I think it's time to get out. It's also broken a lot of trends. If you do the same thing on SoFi, like, think, ask yourself. Self? I mean, I'm asking myself, but not you guys. Like, you look at SoFi, it's, this should have been very, very easy to be completely out of this stock. And I'm being dead honest. I'm not. I still hold, like, 75% of my SoFi from $7. Like, all this accumulation, and then this breakout on SoFi is now so wasted. I'm like, oh, it's gone. This is the last we'll ever see of SoFi. They'll put it into the S&P 500, and I'll consider taking more out then. Now it's like, maybe I just take the 2X, get out half here, and then regroup if this gets under $10 again. It's just such a dog. It doesn't matter where your entry is or how much you're up, blah, blah, blah, your price. Price action is price action. Everyone's done it before. But I feel like even though I'm in the money, I'm still bag-holding the stock anyways. Because I could have gotten it all out at a 200-period break. Could have gotten it all out here. Something. Anything. I hate you, SoFi. Oh, that's why WFF, they did an offering. Okay. So the reason for the second break might have been an offering. I'm going to double-check to see if that's true. Yep. That's exactly what happened. So that's just, it would have been blind luck to get this move down anyways, because they just announced a, let's see how much, $18 million offering of 12 million ordinary shares at $1.50 a share. So that's the reason it halted down. You don't know that it's going to drop an offering 15 minutes later.
[01:18:35] Speaker 5: There's a lot of people, no, and that's what I'm saying. Like, you know, as soon as you think like, oh, okay, you know, it's good to go. You got to be careful with all of that. And I mean, you can check if they're registered. There are ways, obviously, to look at things like that. But, okay, so this is the thing. Don't even look down here. Who cares what's reporting? This, you know, we already, you're down 2% today. Pretty much all of every name. I mean, have you seen a Palantir chart or anything like that today? You know, that just broke 200 to the downside, down 5%. I mean, there's many names that are down multiple percentage points here. It's actually the earnings stocks that are actually not even really moving as much today. But AS, actually, I should check out what AS, what is ASML doing, actually? They're probably getting hit pretty bad. Yeah, like ASML's down 3%, 2.6%. You know, Morgan's here. They're all here, chilling out. So we got to be, okay, first of all, the TQ just went up. We got stopped out of that last piece. More than happy to do that, as we didn't have that much left and we were getting it anyways. But look at tomorrow, man. TSMC. So if they reported some sort of a disaster, which I do not believe they will, but if that winds up happening, yeah, watch out below on that as well. You know, we'll have to see if that craters the market. Erickson, whatever, communication's not going to do anything. There's Charles Schwab, probably getting crushed today. We saw Robin Hood and SoFi downside. Alcoa, I mean, they used to kick off earnings season. It'll be nice to see what Alcoa winds up saying about the metals and mining. Interactive Brokers, IBKR, we just talked about them and Schwab and Hood and SoFi all crushed. JB Hunt transportation, that could be something to look at. And then travelers coming on Friday. So it's really just, for those of you wondering, hey, look, man, the market's, by the way, as I talk about this. JB Hunt's got to be bad. The market, JB Hunt's probably fine. The market just ripped up there. I don't know if we have some sort of news. Is it USO-based? This is the biggest move maybe all day. It's not USO-based.
[01:20:28] Speaker 2: You guys said we'll be talking, but I wouldn't say anything.
[01:20:31] Speaker 5: I don't hear you.
[01:20:33] Speaker 2: Um, sorry.
[01:20:34] Speaker 5: Now I do.
[01:20:35] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. Anyways, keep an eye here on, like, Fed's Ghoulsby talking here, saying GDP and consumers have been strong. He found today's CDPI report to be concerning or discouraging, I think was the word he used. He also said that he is maybe one of the more enthusiastic here in terms of outlook forward compared to his peers. So, I wouldn't say any of this is overtly positive.
[01:20:59] Speaker 5: Enthusiastic is not a word I would use. It does not sound very enthusiastic about that opinion. Yeah, I don't think you necessarily want to be, but I mean, whatever, man. I mean, this is the problem. When you get the shutdown of Warsh and everything and all these committees and this and that and a silent sort of approach by the Fed, you do open up space for comment. Nothing wrong with that. These are, honestly, no matter what you think of the Fed, I mean, I'm sure everybody has different opinions. These are really smart people as far as managing, you know, monetary policy. You don't get to that position. Right. Like, this is not like, oh, they have no idea what they're doing. They know exactly what they're doing. Will they make the right calls all the time? We don't have that crystal ball. I mean, I'm sure if they did, these guys most likely have money in the markets and don't want to screw this up either.
[01:21:44] Speaker 4: I told you the story about this was, I don't remember the former Fed official that this was. You might have been, I don't remember which even, which one of the reserve banks it was. But there was a retired Fed official, it was on CNBC, and this is a few years back. Yeah. And he was talking, they were talking just in general macro, because that's what you do. Yep. That's what his expertise is. And even at his advanced age, he was in his 70s, I think. Oh, yeah. He asked him about his personal portfolio. And he was talking about how he was still all about equity. Even at his age, he wasn't about the bonds. These days, if you don't trust the equity markets, I was so shocked to hear it, because that was the complete opposite of what I was expecting from one of these dudes. He was actually very in tune with the strength of the bull market. It's like, this guy knows his ish. And I clown on Neil Kashkari all the time, and Crashkari this or that, because of the way he leans. He's a smart-ass dude. Oh, all these guys. For sure. I want to point out, it's 320, but there's a couple of-
[01:22:39] Speaker 5: I mean, don't ask Trump's opinion of all the Fed members. I'm not going to- You know, stay away from that. I'm not touching that. In fact, maybe even Fed Chair Powell might not be that smart, apparently. All right, sorry, go on. What were you saying?
[01:22:49] Speaker 4: No, I was just going to say, there's a couple of big imbalances. However, I'm going to point to our- So you see Sky D, $1.5 million buy, MDT, $6.3 million buy side as well. Sky D is supposed to be a big delete, so that should be that you're expecting sell. MDT, share decrease, so that's supposed to be a sell. And then MMED, which I guess that's NASDAQ, that's why there's no early look, supposed to be a buy. So for now, a couple of these larger buy imbalances are expected to be downweights. Unless those flip or something, it's a big imbalance. MDT has done 8 million shares on the day. It's at the highs, so a $6 million buy is pretty big. But given the fact that it's supposed to be the other direction, I'm going to stay away. And thank goodness we stayed away from Moderna. Still unabated. It's still going higher. It was very close to a short entry, but it just never quite confirmed that lower high. And look at it break away. So still going higher is mRNA. So you know what? Of course, SoFi would still be going up. SoFi. Eh, whatever. It didn't look like it wanted to continue. Yeah, I know. Surprising. SoFi is capable of actually going higher. It does get to the $14.20. This could be a good short at VWAP or somewhere into the volume-weighted average price. I don't know how much I believe on this stock today. You have to try to keep the bigger picture in mind with SoFi. That's a big-time breakdown. I think you're getting relief rally at the end of the day, which is good for reversion. But if we get to the volume-weighted average price before the imbalances hit, I think that could be a nice little reverse trade here in SoFi. But the one time it's a long, it's happening now. These banks have been in trouble all day. Oh, yeah. All day, early day. And I can't figure out what... Like, that last spike that we just saw in the futures, you would think maybe that would be accompanied by something happening with treasuries. Nine, nine. Ooh. Didn't even budge. Didn't even budge. Like, they've been going sideways since making a fresh top on TLT here. So, you know, it is the market trying to go. SoFi trying to go. Oops. That stupid WFF is still halted down. A-E-H-L is still looking like a complete dog. Oops. A-E-H-R. Is A-L-L? Oh, it is L. A-E-H-L. A-E-H-L. So I was... Now it works. This thing is still falling. Yeah. I think maybe not... That was 96% when we were looking at it last time. Well, it was nine or ten bucks that I'd look for a dead cat bounce. I'm not sure it wants to get all the way down there. And that wouldn't just... To me, it's got to be some kind of a level where volume made a bottom, and that's all the way down here at nine or ten. It's not worth it unless you get that kind of buy support. So this one could be out the window for a reversion, too.
[01:25:39] Speaker 5: I was just going to say, I just did some little simple math there, because we were talking about staying alive for tomorrow and for all of this. And actually, we've been having a great month. I don't have any red days. I just looked. We were nine for nine. And I just did my average day, and we've lost less today than what we've made on our average day. So it's going to be... That pretty much sums it all up right there, right? Especially when you are trading, sitting here, trying to put together some decent runs, blah, blah, blah. And I haven't really traded anything outside of the pocket, like everything that I'm doing. Sometimes you see me, I'll try to trade Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac or something like that. We haven't really done it. The pink sheets are pretty dead. That's okay. It's not... I mean, I appreciate that. Is that Joe has those buttons over there now? But yeah, so I'm just going to say, like, you know, stay sort of stay in that pocket right now and, you know, still keep going. And that's what I'm doing. And, you know, like we said before, like, I'm going to be red today. Someone in the chat is like, oh, Sean, it's not your best day today. No, I mean, that's... I'm here to tell you literally my worst day of the month. But if you can keep it in the pocket, I think that's, you know, the lesson to be learned for everybody all of the time is just to do that and try to stay positive. And, you know, you don't necessarily want to have the other way around, one win for every nine losses. But, you know, just don't get frustrated if you are red today. It was a hard day, especially if you were trying to catch the bottoms. Like, we could actually almost do a poll. I like the polls on YouTube, actually. But just wondering if you guys are red on a day like today. And if you are, you know, what does that look like for you? And what does that look like against your winners? Things like that. I mean, I think that would be kind of cool to see because I find...
[01:27:25] Speaker 4: I actually had to pull the weed that I didn't hit any.
[01:27:26] Speaker 5: Yeah, like, I do know from when I was, you know, managing traders all around the world, it's kind of like on big market moving days are actually the days when, you know, prop traders do the worst because a lot of people are trading average true range, daily ranges. They're trading reversion names, reversion plays. And I think that's a lot of what I basically tried to do today. Google is going to be my number one. And I'm only... The funny thing is, this is the funny thing, and it's not even that funny, like, ha-ha funny. I'm only red on one stock. We're up on Apple. Apple was huge. We're up on Amazon. Amazon was even better. We're up on Google. Google is my number one stock of the day. The only stock we're down on is the TQs. And it's because we got spanked right in here, thinking that it was going to revert. And it just never happened. We kept on getting hit. Downside, downside, downside. So this is going to be my only red stock today. But again, kept everything relatively okay. Wish we had not got thrown around a bit there. But that's what it was on the TQs. So Federico down $14. Yeah, that's good.
[01:28:30] Speaker 4: Today, it's like, for everything that wins, it's a loser for me. NVIDIA wins. Baba loses. BAC wins. CoreWeave loses. GoPro wins. And then Intel loses. It's like, it's just, you know, what are you going to do? It's a pretty choppy day. It's a very choppy day. But I will echo that point. This is anecdotal. But when we had our own floor for all the years, the worst days, and it's not the worst P&L days, but the worst in terms of, like, collective performance of the floor, like, the number of people that, if there were 15 traders on the floor, the number of people that were down. So not necessarily your biggest down day, because that could be on some crazy, weird whale trading here or there. But just collectively, like, 80% of the floor is down, 90% of the floor is down, would be the days where you had a complete linear move to the downside in the market. Like, it's this, it was always this kind of day. It is so much, I'll tell you right now, it's, most traders have an easier time being long in uptrend and buying dips in an uptrend than shorting in a downtrend and shorting the pops. And I remember there was one full-time guy when I was a trainee, he would literally say it to himself on a downtrending day. He was speaking to himself. He would just sit there saying, short the pops, short the pops. And I just hear him saying, short the pops, short the pops. And he was just convincing himself not to try to fight a bottom and realizing that even if, even if it looked silly, like, it's, oh, but, oh, if you try to short here, there's more room. If the risk to reward favors a reversion back to high, blah, blah, blah, all that stuff. He's like, no, that's a pop. You short it. That's a pop. You short it. And sometimes that's the way to go. It is 330. So I do want to mention those imbalances haven't really changed. I'm still looking for potential both of these to come out sell. Like, they're big buys. But if I see sell on MDT, sell on SKYD, you're very likely to see that pop in as a position for myself. And it looks like AHL is both of the upsides. That's Nothing Burger. And Moderna, probably a Nothing Burger as well. Only two trades. It was WEF. WEF. Well, WFF. Yeah, I like it. Which, by the way, do you know what that stock is right now? It whiffed. Do you see what the stock is now?
[01:30:43] Speaker 5: Yeah, I see.
[01:30:43] Speaker 4: Now it's 79 cents.
[01:30:45] Speaker 5: Neil, it was only $50 three days ago.
[01:30:47] Speaker 4: It was $50. Like you said. 79 cents. 79 cents.
[01:30:58] Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. Over. That's right. It was. Good call, Joe. How many? 50? It's 50! I gotta get that. I gotta get when Fabian comes back to clip that. 50! But this has got to be the worst unwinding I've ever seen. I know. I was saying to you yesterday, I was like, this thing was 50 bucks yesterday. It was $2. There you go. Market blasting. So we got some out there. We take some out on the TQQs. But we do want to remind everybody, if you go back to 2 p.m., you'll see this interview happen live. PowerStock ETFs are designed by Global X Canada for growth-focused traders, amplified single stock exposure, easy ETF access, and Canadian dollar convenience. Go visit them at Betapro, one word, B-E-T-A, pro.ca. Thank you to Betapro for their sponsorship of our closing afternoon program. And what a great interview. If you want to understand more about that, rewind to 2 p.m. with Adara. But yeah, you know, there's the one and only behind us. You guys can all see him. Man, it's been a nasty day out here, One. Tell us what it looks like over there in the Asian markets.
[01:32:03] Speaker 2: One's going to get into the Asian market sessions here. It looks like a pretty weak session in Asia. Let's hear about what happened and what to expect from tonight's trading.
[01:32:13] Speaker 6: Thank you, Adara. So yeah, Sean, not looking good in Asia as well. Last night, we see Asian markets mostly fell off the weaker-than-expected guidance from ASML, as well as caution. Last night ahead of the U.S. CPI print that came in this morning, we see South Korean costs be down by 0.44%. They're on a six-session streak of losses. Of course, a lot of concern over AI spending and ASML's weaker-than-expected guidance, hitting that of semiconductor sentiment in Asia. Caution also ahead of the U.S. inflation data also weighed on market sentiment in South Korea. Some of the key decliners included that of SK Hynix. They were down by about 1.7%. SK Square, they were down by about nearly 0.6%. While KB Financial, down 2%. And Samsung, pretty much closing flat for the day. In Hong Kong, Hang Seng index marginally lower at 0.13%. We saw financials and tech losses offsetting gains in electronic services and retail segments. Chipmakers rebounded, although, despite concerns over the AI evaluations. Some of the notable decliners in Hong Kong included that of SMIC. They were down by about 2.3%. Kingboard laminates, they were down by about 5.2%. While top gainers in Hong Kong included that of Meishuan. They were up 6.6%. And Xiaomi, up by 5.4%. Now, in Japan, Nikkei 225 marginally lower at 0.05%. Sentiment, of course, hit by ASML's warning that it cannot fully meet the two-year demand. Demand, raising that of AI sustainability concerns and also rising oil prices hitting the tape. So, tech and bank-led losses in Japan with Kyokusa Holdings, they were down by about 3.2%. Tokyo Electron, they were down by about 2.7%. While Mizuho, they were down by about 2.9%. And Mitsubishi Financials, down by about 2%. Heading towards the open later this evening for the Asian markets. Of course, the big ones coming up, TSMC. They've got their Q3 earnings coming in October 15th. So, focus definitely will be on those earnings reports as well as the CAPEX guidance. TSMC today, pretty much flat on the day. Thai X, the only one in the green for the region. So, a lot of pre-positioning ahead of those earnings reports. So, keep an eye out on that. It will definitely direct AI supply chains across Taipei, Tokyo, as well as South Korea. And, of course, one thing to look over as well, the yields and inflation. Sovereign yields, of course, and benchmarks post-US CPI print. Keep an eye out on the U.S. 10-year Treasury yields currently below 5.20%. But, it will be key to Asian market capital outflows at the open if that number changes.
[01:35:11] Speaker 2: TSM definitely in focus. We'll have those numbers for you tomorrow. Also, stay with us tomorrow and every day at 11.30 a.m. and 3.30 p.m. for one's take on the European and Asian markets, respectively. Back to you.
[01:35:26] Speaker 4: Thank you, Juan. Thank you, Adara, as always. Yeah, I mean, obviously, it's been a pretty tough market for sure. But, we are still getting that bounce. There's 15 minutes left until it bounces. So, I'm still thinking maybe one more pop in SoFi before looking for that short. 14.20 was the original target of the long. So, it would kind of make sense if it would lose the bid here. Like, if you make it lower high, break through the teams. Could try the reversal if it breaks the support. Or, we allow it to go just a little bit higher. And, Moderna might be... Yeah, okay. Now, Moderna... See, this is what... This looks much better. It's on the chat, so I'm mentioning it as well. Okay. There's, like, the hammer-down type candle. So, you get this one confirming the trend break. I think you got a better look here because you can give it to this 226 half zone. So, I want to make sure we get some confirmation. I don't want to necessarily short the low. But, this looks a little bit more convincing on MRNA. One of the strongest stocks that you're going to find, but in a sector that is absolutely strong. It looks like it could be trying to break the trend as we speak. 22... What? Oh, don't tell me I had a stop from 25. I know what I just did.
[01:36:39] Speaker ?: That's what happens.
[01:36:39] Speaker 4: If you have an existing stop order that I didn't use before, it gets in, and it was obviously triggered. Because I had a stop order already in place in case I took this trade, and then it was still in at 225 change. So, I just got in, and the pre-existing stop punches me out. I'm still trying to get back in at 25. That's so frustrating. You've got to double-check your order flow. I essentially just made two cents because I got in and immediately stopped myself out on the bid. Silly. And now, look at it go. That's just preparation, man. And you have to check all your existing stop orders and clean them up. As I say that, I'm going to cancel a SoFi stop order and hit the refresh button. Because now it's going down, and I can't chase it. I'm not chasing down the future. Yeah, the market's coming back in. The market is starting to come back in. I might end up in that SoFi trade after all. But if I get picked up at 225 again, my orders are still out there.
[01:37:34] Speaker 5: All right. We're trying, and I don't know. Look, man. I mean, we were in SpaceX a couple days ago, yesterday, maybe. And, okay, there, finally. Okay, now it's starting to fall back in. And, you know, we got stopped out before the imbalances came out. So I'm going to get, we're short at 60. We just got 240 fills right there. Actually, we might have got even lower than that. Did we get a 30? Oh, we got, sorry. We got a 45 and a 40. So now it's coming back in into the 30s. Let's take advantage of that. Get out of 10% more as now we're starting to fall back in a little bit on SpaceX. So it's a new position. We're going to go short SpaceX. Don't know if it's going to be good, but we are trying to make back a little bit here of what we had lost on some of our last couple trades there. I forget what we were just short. Was it the market? Yeah, I guess it must have been the market. This trade, I was asking some of you, shout out to Jay Lee and everybody there that's in the chat. Thank you so much for being in the chat with us here today. And I was trying to ask, like, hey, you know, how did you hold some of those positions? You know, because look at what we actually have right here in Amazon today. We had two 60s, basically at the high, not basically, we do have the high of Amazon right there. And then it just boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. And once it breaks to 50, I get out there. So I don't know. Trying to think about what I can do. Maybe, you know, we always get suggestions of fibs and all that kind of stuff. But, yeah, that was downside. And Amazon looks like it's going to close at the lows. So, yeah, how low can you go? Very, says this name, Amazon. Down 2.2%. It could actually even get lower than that. We'll see tomorrow what this name winds up bringing all of us. But Amazon, they're delivering a package today down 2%. Not great. But we did have that short, as we were saying, Amazon, my second P&L name of the day, Google, number one. We're trying to put some damage on the board. We don't have a whole bunch of shares, as we said. But if SpaceX can come down, we're now 10 minutes away. I've actually already gotten out of exactly half of this trade. So, you know, let's see if we can get back in. That's 151. 152 would be kind of sweet if we're able to get anything around there. So let's put a bid, first of all, at 25s. We'll see if we get out of something. I always like playing those quarters. Then we'll put something at 10. And then we'll see if we really do get a downside push. There it is, man. 40 cents. Really? Not so bad. So we'll go a little bit like that. And we'll drop down some money. It's not a very good day to celebrate too much money today. Because if you're a long-only kind of guy, you're a little bit of a problem. See if we can get this story on Piper Sandler. Piper Sandler call off merger talks.
[01:40:09] Speaker 4: Oh, so they were going to do the merger. And now they're not. So I guess they would be the bigger side of the merger. So they were under pressure because of that. I was trying to figure out, obviously, on this volume spike in Piper what the deal was. And Derek just posted a story for everybody to see. Let's go. Yeah, it's not like, that's not something that's worth a chase. And this is not even split adjusted to be able to show you any big levels. Yeah, so I'm not going to mess around with it. It's obviously going to be unfortunate about Moderna had we not stopped ourselves out for a two-cent win. It did just go to 224. The next step to me is a 222.5 zone. Never got picked up at 225. So I'm not going to chase it down here because that skews the risk to reward far too much. So I'm not going to mess around with that one. SoFi does end up breaking down off of that 14-2 level. So we're short. It was the stop just above the 14-20. Going to play it into the low. And with only 10 minutes to go until the imbalances, yeah, that's going the wrong direction, MDT. It's actually, the buy is getting bigger and bigger. It's now showing a 7 million buy and balance, almost a day's worth of volume on a buy and balance when it's supposed to be a sell. My guess is that's going to shake everybody, which makes the reversal potential even better. It's a strong stock today. If this goes big buy, flip to sell, this is, it'll be go zone to me. So 7 million balance on the buy side. I'm hoping it flips to a sell at 55, but if it flips at 50, you just got it shorter right there.
[01:41:38] Speaker 5: Good job. Fun bubble there. Scalped another $2 banger off of Micron. So that is pretty sick. We got something going on a little bit here as well as SpaceX just goes down to the downside. Who's here? Let's go find out. I want to look, first of all, and see if we've got any super chats there from TikTok. No, we've got four. We've got one right here. Oh, you're going to throw them up if you want? Okay, yeah. Thanks to 4X Master Signals right there on TikTok, of course. Thank you to everybody watching us everywhere. Do we have one more? If we didn't, that's okay. What's up? T-Money says, we green, baby. We like that. Let's see. Let me clear that off. Thank you, everybody, for that great job on that, T-Money. I mean, if SpaceX wants to really tank, you know, maybe we can do something here. Big Daddy Arun Warrior. What up, Arun? Hopefully, you're doing well, man. That I read, man. That is a POS. That is for sure. What's up, Andrew Chow? AJ Easy, the Chop Father. Do not get chopped up. We went to a great restaurant here on College called something Chop. Veal Chops? Pasta and Chops? I don't think I know it. I'll remember that one. Anyways, two boots. What's going on? Allen, 98311, I believe. Gworev. What's going on? Easy Peasy. There he is. Hopefully, I had a rebound day today, Easy. Yeti's here. Oh, there's Yeti from TikTok. Thank you so much. Daily Trade is there. P.K. Sabre, not P.K. Subaniel. WFF says Jay Lee. What's going on? Yeah, right, Jay Lee. This guy is just Slay. Your new name is Slay Lee, okay? $3 to 33 cents, nine times right there. What a move right there. He's short left. What's up, Tommy? Well, he was. I don't know if he's covered. 33 cents? Is that where it is right now? Yeah. Mike P. DeRyder over there. Escobar, everybody. Nick Glazer. Yo, Mr. Italy. God's country. Shout out to you as well. Hurt Scrambler there. Jalen Hurts. Roadrunner. Trade whiz. Aight. That's it. That's the end of.
[01:43:35] Speaker 4: Roll call. No, wait so you can see this Italian guy in The Gentleman.
[01:43:39] Speaker 5: Oh, yeah, yeah. That's right. I was saying The Gentleman. I watched season one. I was even talking about it here. Fantastic. One of my favorite shows. They're on Netflix. We started watching season two. Season two is like two months old or something. We watched, I think, the first one or two episodes. And then we kind of got off of it. So we do want to get back on.
[01:43:56] Speaker 4: Better than season one. Perfect.
[01:43:58] Speaker 5: Yeah, that's exactly what it is.
[01:43:58] Speaker 4: Best show on Netflix, The Gentleman.
[01:44:00] Speaker 5: Yeah.
[01:44:00] Speaker 4: If you're into that sort of a thing. I think it's. It's a weed farm. Vinnie Jones. There's so many good. He gets his due in season two. But WEF is, it's not, that's not a typo. It is at 33 cents. I don't, I can't remember. I don't think I've ever seen this. I can say I've never seen this. I've never seen a parabolic stock of like $50 go back to less than what it was when the whole, the whole party started as a $1.70 stock. It was $1.70 when this, this like weird squeeze thing happened on it. And now it's 33 cents and tapping 33 cents. I will remind everybody like we do every single time, halted stocks in the last 10 minutes open up at four o'clock. There's no five minute halt. So this should open up one more time and about one minute or so, or maybe just, yeah, a minute and change. But if it halts again, you might not be able to trade it until four. Obviously, I wouldn't suggest anyone go along the stock. It acts like it's acting like it's going to zero. Like forget about the offering. It's trading as if it wants to go to zero and just be. Sorry. Did it open back up yet? It opened up and went down to 33 cents. It's tapping 33 though. This time when it was at 80, it was tapping 50. And then it opened at 50 and it's halted at 33. Theoretical auction price is saying it's going to open at 33 in about 40 seconds. So we have a super chat. Let's throw that one up there if we can. Yes. From PR.
[01:45:31] Speaker 5: Heart rate monitor you wear.
[01:45:33] Speaker 4: Can you talk about the heart rate monitor you wear? So, well, okay.
[01:45:39] Speaker 5: Well, I won't get into the actual, you're talking about the woo. Yeah, that's what he's talking about.
[01:45:43] Speaker 4: I always talk about something you couldn't, okay.
[01:45:45] Speaker 5: No, no, he's talking about this.
[01:45:46] Speaker 4: Because I also have an Apple Watch. We've talked about that a couple of times. What about the whoop? I mean, I wear a whoop. There's not much to say. There's an app that you monitor on the phone. So like I can see what my heart rate is, my sleep, HRV, you know, steps. Like all the usual stuff.
[01:46:02] Speaker 5: I find the sleeping stuff is, and then the other one is, yeah, we don't, unfortunately. It's pretty good. Yeah, we can get rid of that. We don't discuss chair sizes, but yeah, all good. So five and a half hours, that's not enough, is it?
[01:46:14] Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I usually get six. Okay, okay. On weekdays. All right, all right. Not bad. Oh, my God. 19 cents. What? Oh, where it's going? This is going to zero. It really, I was sort of thinking about if there was any kind of a, it doesn't halt down and breaks back up, try scalping, like scalping a 20 break with a stop at 19, risk one cent. That's not, that's not the worst idea.
[01:46:42] Speaker 5: Oh, no, what he's wearing, someone's saying that's on your arm. No, that was for the tendonitis.
[01:46:47] Speaker 4: Oh, no, you're talking about, I have a brace on my arm for the double tendonitis. That's a totally different thing. That was me being an idiot during my daughter's baseball season.
[01:46:55] Speaker 5: Oh, man. Yeah, we played last night. It was a great, great evening. It was like 80 degrees pretty much until the sun went down. Like, it was such a nice, beautiful one. Now we start indoor baseball on Sunday. So, yeah, we're pretty excited to start doing that. That's big business, by the way. Oh, man. I think that's what, talk about retiring. I told my dad, man, he had a bunch of different warehouses and this and that. I know a dude that does that.
[01:47:19] Speaker 4: And it's like, yeah, he's the play in our league.
[01:47:22] Speaker 5: He has the biggest one, I think, in the GTA. That's what I'm saying. Right there in Guelph. They opened it up. They have a couple of different batting cage machines there that throw. I think each machine is like, I think it's like 30 or 40 grand. It's a pitching machine. But anyway, shout out there. Just get a huge warehouse. Put some AstroTurf there. Get the best equipment. And you'll be rented out forever. I mean, I know that for hockey, for example. Like, we have two practices tonight. One is dry land, which is the training. So, you need the equipment for that. And then, of course, on the ice. But rinks are a little bit different story because they be expensive to operate. All you need for indoor baseball, like I just said, a couple of equipment there. Yeah, but you don't need.
[01:48:00] Speaker 4: With baseball, you probably do a little bit more work to sell the time. With the rinks, I know. Like, I've talked to some of the neighbors. It's just always booked.
[01:48:10] Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. You can't even find time.
[01:48:11] Speaker 4: You can't even find ice time.
[01:48:13] Speaker 5: No, no. But that's everywhere. Hockey is so popular now. Even in North America, it's taking off. And it's thanks to the U.S. winning, unfortunately. The Olympics, that was. Yeah, let's not talk about it. Yeah, so, okay. Here comes SpaceX, man. It just got right back in into 152. So, that is starting to go to the downside right now. We are now 60 cents in the money on this SpaceX trade. And we are now a minute and a half away from imbalances. So, how will those pair out today? I'm going to hold a little bit. I am bidding 85s. So, if we do get a whoosh to the downside, we will get some out at 151.85. And then, maybe after that, the low of the day incoming. I don't know if you want to quickly talk about anything. But right now, the size on some of these. It's just these two. Yeah, I know. That's what I was going to say. Skydance. You've already sort of. Oh, here we go. Okay, okay. Hey, man. How does 70 cents sound right now? On a little flushy, flushy action right into the downside right now. But there goes SpaceX. Glad we were able to short that thing all the way to the downside. Yeah, Oracle's on there. Anyways, what I was sort of getting at, but not graciously, was we will wait for the NASDAQ. Right now, we only have New York or Amex names. So, the NASDAQ names will come at 350, which is now 40 seconds away.
[01:49:26] Speaker 4: Yeah, only about 40, 50 seconds away. This WFF, it doesn't want to try to catch a bit. It's a little bit late now. The problem with trying to punch in is if it halts in the last 10 minutes, you're stuck in a halt until the close. Not a huge fan of that. So, yeah, whatever. You know what? It hasn't halted down, which is the first time in this move that it hasn't halted down, which would make it an intriguing play. But it's also not having any buyers up here trying to hold on to it. Oh, boo. I'm staring it down. I was looking for a breakout above 20 cents, but I just stared it down. And now the imbalances are about to hit, so I can...
[01:50:02] Speaker 5: Basically, I just jumped like 30 cents out of nowhere. We almost... Remember, imbalances on this stock are not abnormal. Like, it went down to 90 there. And I was like, oh, I'll take it instead of 85, and then boom. All right, here we go. Three, two, one, anarchy. What the... There's your Skydance, by the way.
[01:50:20] Speaker 4: Oh, what the...
[01:50:20] Speaker 5: 47 million shares. What is that even doing right now to get short on that one? The size is not even that huge. But Skydance just pumping through right now half prints. So, get ready for that. All right.
[01:50:35] Speaker 4: No way we don't have locates today.
[01:50:37] Speaker 5: Yeah, so, you know, you got to pay for that one. Nvidia with a buy, two and a half mil. Two and a half schmil on that one, as you get it now down 3%. Nvidia trying to pop up there, 221. There it is. The market is actually... This is from Adara. A buy. So good, man. I mean, it's a good thing we were able to cash out of most of that. SpaceX there. We have about 25% left. Hoping for a downside trade there. Marvell actually goes up and now it's coming back in on a sell. Looks like PayPal a buy. Baxter International. We don't have to worry about that. GDX. Oh, there's Oracle. Sorry. I was looking for some bigger names that you guys may be interested in. Oracle down 9%, but getting a little bit of a bump up. So, it's a market buy rate there. So, I'm going to take advantage of some shares anyways and get something out here at 38%. We were covering before on SpaceX, but, you know, I don't want to cover all the way up here. We'll get out of a little bit more on that bid there. We got out of about 7% of what we had. But right now, SpaceX trying to do something here. It looks like it's trying to go back down. So, so far, so good on that little move now on SpaceX.
[01:51:39] Speaker 4: So, just to show something, because I want to... The actual imbalance that you're seeing is on the warrants.
[01:51:48] Speaker 5: Yeah. I saw the other one lower.
[01:51:49] Speaker 4: Yeah. So, SKYD is actually a buy imbalance. It's the warrants that are $45 million sell. Those also pay for locates. My guess is there's going to be some kind of an arbitrage hedge, which more than likely means this is not going to crater or print down. It's really, really liquid. I might pay for locates on it anyways. It's punched out of SoFi. That 14, that 14.2 looked like it was breaking anyways. I didn't see whether it was a buy or sell. I just assumed it was probably a buy and punched out of it. It turns out it should have just been a long all the way on SoFi off that 14 long. But my goodness, that's a big one for SKYD. But it is the warrants. It's not the actual shares that we were talking about earlier. WFF, it's absolutely crazy. They did 120. Jay Lee, your math is not incorrect. This is correct. They did an offering for $120 million, and right now their valuation is $8 million. Based on what just happened to the stock. Everything about that is so wrong, yet everything that you just said is actually factually correct on WFF. I've seen nothing like this. Adara?
[01:52:58] Speaker 2: Keep an eye on AAPL, Apple in Focus Company, reportedly planning on launching its Apple intelligence in China in the iOS 27.3 software. So again, iOS 27.3 could be the software with which Apple intelligence launches in China. Back to you.
[01:53:15] Speaker 5: I didn't say ACB. ACB just decided to tell shareholders to reject their True Leaf takeover. So that's why we hit the weed. I don't know. Is ACB even trading still? All right. Here, let's take a look. Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
[01:53:28] Speaker 4: It's cold.
[01:53:28] Speaker 5: I only, yeah, it's cold because, I mean, I've just, if you see the chart of this, man, I've, this is in my account forever, and I probably have like 10 trillion shares.
[01:53:36] Speaker 4: Yeah, but is it still trading? It's kind of, that's kind of weird.
[01:53:39] Speaker 5: I mean, reverse split. I mean, this stock is a nightmare. But anyways, ACB there, reject, trying to, and anyway, suggest a rejection of said shareholder deal there from True Leaf Cannabis. So that's what's happening in that space right now. Like I said many times before, I'd rather just roll those shares up and smoke them than actually deal anything with, and probably not do that. I don't think that's very wise to do that. But okay, SpaceX now downside. It looks like it wants to hold the bid a bit. So let's go check over what's going on now. There's your Skydance. So they're there. There's that Minimed that's been a, I think that was, you said that this is either a buyout or a delete or something, Minimed, something going on there. M-Med. Yesterday, I thought it was MindMed, remember? M-N-M-D. It's a Russell 2000 share increase on there. Share increase. Okay, yeah. So I knew there was something there. Oh, NVIDIA, I think maybe got bigger there. Now 3 million, 3.4 million. Growing is now NVIDIA. So yeah, that's starting to go upside a little bit there. Netflix catching a bid. Netflix had a decent day. It was green last time I checked. Green still. So there's Netflix up a little bit, trying to break through days high. Looks like right now Netflix. So that's trying to get going. Procter and, oops, that's PCG, not Procter and Gamble. Let's see what, I just saw Amazon there somewhere. There's Intel with a buy 700,000. So we could have a look to see what Intel is doing. Nothing right now. $98. This is where I most recently bought. That's not doing much. But yeah, it's NVIDIA is growing, man. So I don't know. Let's see what happens right here at 350. And we may get 355. So we may get a turnaround. Watch out if NVIDIA, where is it? Where is it? There it is right there. Let's see what winds up happening. And just almost in, almost in. Give it a second. 3, 2, 1, 355. Let's see what happens with NVIDIA right now. Okay, almost nothing. It's gone. I don't see it anymore. And there it goes, man. NVIDIA, you kind of have to scroll in to see anything that's going on. These top wicks, that's 221. That's 220. So bouncing back and forth here goes NVIDIA. It must still be a buy. I just don't see it anymore. The market is a funny thing. I don't see it. We only have four more minutes left. And then you can, you know, have a drink or work out or something. I mean, I know those are complete opposite things. But, you know, 2% right there down is not very nice for the NASDAQ. But, hey, man, if you're an S&P 500 guy, you know, you're only down 1%. That's not so bad over there. And bank stocks have not been having a great day. But, you know, S&P 500 holding out pretty good there because of health care.
[01:56:02] Speaker 4: Oh, this is so, MDT is very annoying. If you punch short at the 55 flip, it stayed a bid, but the short worked. So it went from a big buy and bounce. Remember, it was 7 million before. It goes down to 2.5 million. Right at 355, it reversed off of the highs. But it stayed a bid, which means no trade for me. I'm looking for that to pair off. I'm not shorting anything. It's still a big buy and bounce. And I don't think there's anything to do with the Skydance. SKDY is staying bid. And the warrants, that's not even a trade. Ooh, it just got SpaceX. Because it can't do anything. So, like, these are big imbalances. But they're not very tradable at all here. That MMED is supposed to be a buy. And it's selling off. So, again, I'm not going against the grain. If you simply shorted it when the sell came out, congratulations to you. But I see it in our notes. It's supposed to be a big buy. I don't want that pairing off in front of me. That's frustrating because, oh, this MDT.
[01:56:57] Speaker 5: I mean, we like big buys and we cannot lie, but... But they're doing what you want, but they're in the wrong direction.
[01:57:02] Speaker 4: And I've learned that lesson many times. I would rather take the safe play on these. If it's supposed to be one way and it comes out the other, I'll let other people trade those. Because you can look really smart when it works for you, but I've seen the other side of that trade. When someone decides, oh, it's supposed to be a buy and it's a sell. Yeah, watch me pair it off in one shot. And then you're just left holding the bag with, like, two minutes to go and you lose your whole day.
[01:57:26] Speaker 5: Yeah, be careful. With all of that. Yeah, that's the worst thing you want to do. I mean, many people make their whole days. People even graduate on closing and balances and they never see a check after that. So you've got to be careful with what your strategies are. That is for sure. Okay, just real quick, man. I don't know what just happened there, but SpaceX 151.90 just came into play there. So, you know, we'll take that. And we've got another 152. So we are now under 5% left of SpaceX. Just waiting to see. And you know what? Let's just wrap it. We'll put a bid at 21s there. Maybe don't tell me we missed that 21. But there it is. We got it. So, all right. We are now out. We are now flat on the day. We'll be slightly red. We made a little bit of money there. So we're even better than where we were when I gave you that little stat about where we were percentage-wise of our normal days. But, yeah, SpaceX right there, not playing with too many shares, but was a good little pop and drop there for SPCX. So we are pretty happy with what we've been able to do there on SpaceX. So, yeah, just to everybody, again, thanks for watching. Make sure you do hit the like and the subscribe. We're back here every single day at 8 a.m. So if you thought that today's CPI number was quite wild, I mean, tomorrow we have PPI. So it could be the exact same kind of relationship there with the market today. I mean, I think we're all hoping not.
[01:58:36] Speaker 4: I'd like to think that PPI could not possibly move the market the way CPI did. A, we've already seen the hot print and had a negative reaction to it. So even if it comes out bad, some of it has to be priced in, you would think. But, you know, you also would have thought that when rates pulled back in on the 10-year all day long, we wouldn't have continued to make lows. So you don't want to make any assumptions. You know, like, who would have expected? There's so many things we weren't expecting. Who would have expected WFF to be an 18-cent stock? Certainly I did. If tomorrow there's a chance to buy this thing under 10 cents, I don't know. There are crazier trades out there. If I sit down tomorrow morning before we get on the morning show, and this stock is underneath 10 cents and doing volume, I mean, it can only go to zero, right? Like, what's the worst that could happen? I did that once in a trade. I literally bought a stock on a day trade at one cent just to get the double up. So I'm like, well, we'll see what happens. Perfectly willing to understand that it could have gone down. It could have just been...
[01:59:38] Speaker 5: I mean, that is interesting. Robinhood blocked buys on WFF. Jay Lee was the same way. He was not able to get shorts, I don't believe, either. I think he was just saying that story about going from $2. Did they? $3 to $33. So, yeah, I mean, I don't think it's a GME type of thing. There is very much a lack of liquidity sometimes, you know, when you're talking about all that. So there might not have been enough...
[01:59:59] Speaker 4: No, just to clarify, what usually that means is they're banning trading on it altogether, but you can sell your long position. They're allowing you to get out, but they're not allowing you to trade it in new positions. I think that's...
[02:00:11] Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't think there's anything too, too fishy about that one. I mean, you may be onto something. I mean, they are trying to block GameStop or AMC type situation, I would think, probably. It could just be a risk thing. That's what I mean. At the end of the day, you know, they got to manage it all.
[02:00:28] Speaker 4: Real trading blocks symbols for traders here, too. Like, if there's not enough liquidity to trade it safely, then it is blocked on our system, and you have to put in a formal request. I don't know, whatever. You put in a ticket. It usually doesn't take very long if you want a request to do it. My guess is it's just the risk here with WFF. Maybe the stock isn't here tomorrow. I don't know. It's trading like it's not going to be here tomorrow, even though they just did an offer. But we'll see. That's the fun of the markets. We'll see what happens.
[02:00:55] Speaker 5: Yeah, so, yeah. I mean, all good, man. It's 4 o'clock right now. Yeah, not a great day with the NASDAQ rate here down 1.92%. The ES down 1.1%. IWM probably got absolutely destroyed. Because with raising rates, I can't imagine, yeah, IWM the same as the NASDAQ down 1.96%. I mean, growth names, small cap names, not great. We keep on recommending the XBI and whatnot. XBI today probably up, well, maybe not. I don't know. Yeah, flat. So, there you go on that one. And then the XLV, the healthcare ETF. Again, you know, be diversified a little bit. Energy also, not too bad. There's XLV with a good little move higher as well. The XLV on the daily chart actually near these highs. We actually talked about this with Brian not too long ago. Thank you so much to Andre, Brendan, Jessica over there. The one and only, of course. Who else am I seeing? Tiffany Sia gone for now. Thank you always to Adara. My main man over there, Joe. Thank you, Joe, for your midday and for the beginning part of the show as well. And Joe will be, I think we're all back tomorrow. I don't know. I haven't looked at the calendar. Thursday. Everyone's in. Thursday, yeah. Pretty good hump day. I mean, we'd rather the market give us different results. Anything planned tonight or yesterday was?
[02:02:08] Speaker 4: Yesterday was GoGuides. We're supposed to pick up another case because we already sold the first one. Hopefully, we get the chocolate and vanilla because people like that one a heck of a lot more. Chocolate mints, not very popular. People buy it because it's GoGuides cookies they want to support, but the traditional is where it's at. Before, I know we're getting out of here. That Sky D warrant would have been huge.
[02:02:30] Speaker 5: Yeah. What are you going to do? You got to pay for those shorts and get those into the account. Someone must have made a lot of money on that. All right, man. PPI is tomorrow. Make sure you're here at 8 a.m. We'll bring you right into it. We'll talk about the PPI as it hits. We'll give it as much love as it deserves. All right. Good day. We'll see everybody tomorrow. Thank you, Adara. Again, and thank you, Joe. Joe, hit the music. All right. Ciao, everybody. Hit it.
[02:03:05] Speaker ?: Thank you.
