[2:58] roster, you could say, of attendees. This includes the Saudi ambassador, Princess Rima,
[3:05] Bint Bandar al-Saad, the Minister of Finance, Mohammed al-Jaddan, and even Elon Musk was here
[3:13] to discuss different government efficiency topics and massive spending cuts. Now, this is the second
[3:22] forum that they've done this year and today, or this weekend, I should say. This forum did begin
[3:27] on Wednesday. This forum's theme is capital in motion, and this is a summit to highlight
[3:34] Miami's role as a financial gateway to the United States of America. And while we still wait for
[3:43] President Trump to arrive, just from what early reports have said is that the president is
[3:49] expected to touch on a couple different focus points. That first point is going to be
[3:56] domestic investment.
[3:57] So, touting that the fact that the United States is one of the world's premier destinations for
[4:04] wealth creation and industrial breakthroughs. We're also seeing reports that the president
[4:09] is expected to talk about economic reform. So, discussing the Department of Government
[4:15] Efficiency, DOGE initiatives, even proposals to return potentially up to the 20% of federal
[4:21] savings directly to citizens. That's another topic that the president may discuss today.
[4:26] And another topic,
[4:28] he is expected to discuss is global stability, addressing energy security and market
[4:35] volatility caused by the ongoing regional conflicts involving Iran. Another thing that the president
[4:43] may touch on today is the geopolitical ties. As mentioned, again, this event is the FII held by
[4:52] the FII Institute and is primarily funded by Saudi Arabia's public investment fund, the PIF.
[4:59] So, this summit marks Trump's second year as a featured guest. They did have this summit last year as well.
[5:14] And Trump was one of the main keynote speakers. So, this will be his second time as a featured guest.
[5:20] And Trump's appearance will be underscoring a strengthening economic bridge between the United
[5:28] States and the Gulf region, focusing on shared interests in artificial intelligence, critical
[5:35] minerals, and the new latum order for Latin American trade. This event will also be the
[5:48] conclusion of the three-day series of the closed-door strategic roundtables aimed at navigating high
[5:55] interest rates and shifting the global capital flows. So, again, this summit, the 2026 FII summit,
[6:04] this started Wednesday of this week. Today is going to be that final day. There has been some very,
[6:12] very high-profile attendees. This is a closed-door summit. Some of those high-profile people in
[6:19] attendance included Elon Musk, a lot of Saudi Arabia big political and financial figures,
[6:28] such as the Saudi ambassador, Princess Rima, Ben Badr al-Saud, the Minister of Finance,
[6:34] Mohammed al-Jaddan, just some of the few high-profile people that were in attendance.
[6:40] And of course, we are awaiting President Trump,
[6:43] to make his way to the podium where he is set to deliver the closing keynote speech for this
[6:50] three-day financial summit. We're monitoring that shot. We have the podium shot right now. And of
[6:55] course, once we get to that, I will toss the camera back over. But until then, thank you for
[7:00] joining. Please comment any questions you may have. We are streaming this on our Fox 10 Phoenix
[7:06] YouTube channel, as well as the TikTok. So, if you have any questions, comments, concerns,
[7:14] be sure to drop those below, and I will do my best to address them. Thank you.
[7:19] Hi, everyone. Fox 10 Phoenix livestream journalist Isabella Fredrickson here. Thank you so much for
[12:19] joining. We are streaming Trump's keynote address at the FII Summit. He is set to make the stage
[12:27] shortly. Of course, we are monitoring the stream. We are streaming this live on our Fox 10 Phoenix
[12:32] YouTube channel, as well as our Fox 10 Phoenix TikTok. So, please comment any questions,
[12:39] or comments you may have. I'll do my best to address them. But in the meantime, as you saw,
[12:43] we had that shot of the podium. And I wanted to pull up just this other shot we have right here.
[12:52] Just another shot came up of the podium. So, we'll toss to that now.
[12:56] We are privileged to host the 45th and 47th President of the United States of America,
[13:05] Donald J. Trump.
[13:08] All right.
[14:45] And it looks like we should be getting started here shortly. I do have the audio
[14:49] cut just because of streaming rights with the music. But as soon as the president starts to
[14:53] speak, I will turn that back on, as you saw was a shot of the crowd. There is about 1,500 very
[15:02] high-profile people at this closed-door summit. And there's just a good shot of the audience.
[15:06] And President Trump has taken the stage, and he is expected to start speaking shortly.
[15:12] Thank you very much. A lot of rich people in this audience.
[15:39] I'm looking left, right, center, all the way in the back. They're rich, too.
[15:43] But I'm thrilled to be back with so many friends and partners, leaders,
[15:48] and innovators here at the Future Investment Initiative. And it's a really great group of
[15:55] people, a very smart group of people. They know what's happening in the world.
[15:59] It's my second address to the conference as President of the United States. And it's my
[16:05] honor to be here. Thank you very much. As you know, we're gathered at a moment of bold action
[16:12] and historic decision to make America and our allies safer and stronger, more prosperous,
[16:18] more successful than ever before. That's what's happening. Tonight, we're closer than ever to the
[16:26] rise of the Middle East that is finally free at last from Iranian terror, aggression, and nuclear
[16:34] blackmail. That's what's happened. It was nuclear blackmail for years and years. And beyond that,
[16:41] there was blackmail, period. Under my leadership,
[16:45] America is ending the threat posed by this radical regime, decimating Iran's capabilities
[16:52] with Operation Epic Fury, something that nobody's ever seen anything quite like it. We have the most
[16:59] powerful military in the world by far. I built it in my first term. Remember, I said a trillion
[17:04] dollars. They also, what do you mean a trillion dollars? A trillion dollars every year. Another
[17:10] trillion the next, another trillion. We have the best people. We have by far the best
[17:16] weapon. We have weapons that nobody's ever seen before. We have weapons that nobody even knows
[17:21] about, except for a few of us. For 47 years, Iran has been known as the bully of the Middle East,
[17:28] but they are not the bully any longer. They're on the run. Last June, America's armed forces
[17:43] obliterated Iran's key nuclear facilities in one of the most spectacular military actions
[17:49] of all time. Nobody has ever seen anything like it. In the dead of night, no moon,
[17:55] no clock in the morning, we went in. It was called Operation Midnight Hammer. And every single one of
[18:04] those bombs hit their mark. Air shafts. They will never build an air shaft again, I promise you that.
[18:10] They went right down that granite mountain through air shafts. Most incredible technology you've ever
[18:17] seen, a thing like that. And it was decimation. It was obliteration. One of the networks said,
[18:23] well, maybe it wasn't that bad. It was that bad. Turned out to be even more than we thought.
[18:29] But after that attack, the Iranian lunatics refused to cease their pursuit of nuclear weapons. And I
[18:36] have to say before that, Barack Hussein Obama, did you ever hear of him? Barack Hussein Obama,
[18:42] he had the Iran nuclear deal. He went to Iran. He paid him. Remember, he sent two Boeing 757 jet
[18:50] liners. They took the seats out and they piled it with cash, like $1.7 billion of cash.
[18:57] That's when I realized the president is very powerful.
[19:02] The RNC is a very powerful thing when you can do that. I haven't done that yet. I haven't found a
[19:07] reason to do that yet. But that's big. $1.7 billion in cash. You know, there wasn't a bank in DC,
[19:13] Virginia or Maryland that had any money after that disaster. But they sent the cash to Iran. But more
[19:21] importantly, they signed an agreement, the Iran nuclear deal, which if I didn't terminate it in
[19:28] my first term, I terminated it almost immediately. If I didn't terminate it, they would have had a
[19:33] nuclear weapon longer.
[19:34] And they would have used it on the Middle East, Israel and the Middle East. And you know the
[19:39] Middle East because when you look at all the missiles that got fired, UAE had 1,500 missiles
[19:45] shot at it. They didn't think they were going to have any. Saudi Arabia didn't expect to have,
[19:50] I mean, we have the most powerful Saudis. Oh, yes, sir. You are so powerful. But yes,
[19:57] sir, you didn't expect any missiles going to Saudi Arabia. They didn't expect them in Qatar.
[20:01] They didn't expect them in Kuwait, in Bahrain. The missile rained down on you.
[20:07] They were going to hit you with nuclear or whatever they had. But we stopped it. We stopped
[20:12] it. We stopped it with him. And then it was a big moment also in my first administration when I took
[20:19] out Soleimani. And a lot of people think that might have been the biggest thing of all because
[20:23] he was a mad genius. He was a vicious, horrible human being. But he was a great general and a
[20:30] great leader, if you call, if you define a leader in a certain way, very, very powerful leader.
[20:36] In fact, he was so powerful that I really think
[20:39] that the leadership of Iran was extremely happy when I took him out. But they don't say that. But
[20:46] nobody's going to be asking him anymore because they're not here either. But getting the
[20:53] termination and terminating the Iran nuclear deal that was done by Biden and Obama, I would say
[21:03] mostly Obama. Actually, I don't think Biden knew where he was then, too. He had no idea. If you
[21:09] said to him the Iran nuclear deal, what's that? But there was four years of hell we
[21:16] had with this guy as our leader, I'll tell you. And then we hit him with the B-2 bomber. So we did
[21:20] it twice. But if they would have had a nuclear weapon, it would have a whole big deal. And I
[21:24] wouldn't be here right now. And probably you guys wouldn't be too happy. You might be in an area who
[21:30] knows where you would have been. But we did it twice. And I think I really believe we saved the
[21:35] Middle East. We saved not just Israel. We saved the Middle East. And it was proven by all those
[21:41] rockets that fired down upon you. Saudi Arabia got hit a lot. You all got hit and nobody expected.
[21:48] any missiles to be wasted. You would have thought they were only going at Israel. They weren't.
[21:53] As president of the United States, I would never allow the world's number one state sponsor of
[21:58] terror to obtain a nuclear weapon. I said that for a long time. And I didn't. To defend America and
[22:05] our allies over the past 27 days, the U.S. Armed Forces, most powerful in the world, have been
[22:11] annihilating Iran's military capacity with force, precision, skill like the world has never seen.
[22:18] It was
[22:20] violence, actually, really violence. We're crushing Iran's currently as we speak. I just looked. We
[22:28] had another big day. We hit them. They don't know what's happening. Remember this? They lied about
[22:34] three days ago. I said, Yeah, we're negotiating with this. We are not negotiating. They're being
[22:40] hit so hard. Anybody would be negotiating. They are negotiating. They're begging to make a deal.
[22:48] They're begging to make a deal. Turned out I was right. They were negotiating, which they admitted
[22:52] two days later.
[22:54] And in order to make up for their misstatement, they said, We're going to send you eight ships
[23:02] of oil. And the following day I saw, and this was two days ago, I saw on one of the
[23:07] networks. Very strange. There were eight ships of oil coming out of Iran. And then they actually
[23:15] said, We're going to add an extra two. And they added an extra two, so we had 10 ships. And then
[23:20] people realized we were actually negotiating.
[23:22] We're negotiating now, and it would be great if we could do something. But they have to open it up. They have to go to hardlice.com .. . .. o . . . .. . . .. o. . kl.i.d . . . . i. i . strings. . . . . . . . i . . . . . . . . . o. . . . . . . . . . k . . . . . . . . . ko . ? v frosting.069.
[23:25] something, but they have to open it up. They have to open up the strait of Trump. I mean,
[23:32] Hormuz. Excuse me. I'm so sorry. Such a terrible mistake. The fake news will say he accidentally
[23:43] said no. There's no accidents with me. Not too many. If there were, we'd have a major story.
[23:52] No. Well, we had that with the Gulf of Mexico. Remember the Gulf of Mexico? And one day I said,
[23:57] why is it the Gulf of Mexico? We have 92 percent of the area around it. They have 8 percent,
[24:03] really less than 8 percent. But for 350 years, it was good. You know, they were there 100 years
[24:09] longer than us. Mexico, they're at 350. We're at 250. And I said, I've often asked myself,
[24:16] why don't we call it the Gulf of Mexico? It seems like we dominate. Well, when I checked,
[24:21] it was more than 92 percent. So I announced, I wouldn't say Mexico was thrilled, but I announced
[24:28] that from now on, the Gulf of Mexico is going to be the Gulf of Mexico.
[24:30] The Gulf of Mexico is going to be called the Gulf of America. And it took about one hour. It was
[24:37] done. Everybody, I mean, the president called me. She's really a nice person, too. I like her a lot.
[24:43] She called up. She's the most beautiful. She's a very elegant woman, has a beautiful,
[24:47] beautiful voice. She goes, President, President, President, tell me this is not so. No, no, it's so.
[24:56] And then Google Maps changed it. We won the court case in about one hour. And Google Maps changed
[25:04] it. And Google Maps changed it. And Google Maps changed it. And Google Maps changed it.
[25:04] It's a name. And it's now the Gulf of America, which it should be, you know, for this. We're
[25:10] crushing Iran's weapons stockpiles, destroying their missiles and drone factories at levels
[25:16] nobody ever thought was possible and turning their defense industrial base into nothing.
[25:23] Iran's Navy is gone. It's all sunk at the bottom of the Gulf and elsewhere. Did you see the attack
[25:32] submarine that we have one after one of their boats? It was called the Soleimani. It was the
[25:36] pride of their fleet. But this attack submarine goes like 60 miles an hour. I'd never saw anything.
[25:44] And it caught them in about two minutes. And that was the end of the Soleimani.
[25:49] Now, they're 100% dead. They have 22 mine droppers. They go on mine droppers. And the
[25:55] mine droppers, 22, all 22 are gone. So I guess they can drop mines, but they're going to have
[26:00] to take them out by a rowboat because they don't have any boats. Their air force is dead,
[26:04] totally, completely dead. It's out of business. No planes left at all. Their anti-aircraft and
[26:11] communications capabilities are totally dismantled and dead. And their leaders are all dead. Other
[26:19] than that, I think they're doing quite well. No, their leaders are dead. Their supreme leader is
[26:27] no longer supreme. He's dead. Son is either dead or in very bad shape because nobody's heard from
[26:36] him. I think he says, just keep me out of this. This is the only country where nobody
[26:41] wants to lead. There's nobody. Who would like to lead Iran? Please raise your hand, a big audience
[26:48] of distinguished. Who would like to be our leader? Dead silence. Nobody wants to. Now, we have an
[26:55] amazing military. We have the greatest intelligence apparatus that anybody's ever seen. We can tell
[27:00] you everything that's going on. We know everything that's going on. We're achieving each and every
[27:05] one of the military objectives four weeks ago. Four weeks ago. And we're doing it really.
[27:16] I guess we wouldn't have thought we would have been. We knew it was going to be easy. We call it a
[27:20] military operation. We don't call it a war. We call it a military operation. We're very disappointed,
[27:26] by the way, with NATO. They didn't come to our aid. I didn't try too hard, actually, you know,
[27:32] because I wanted to prove a point. I didn't sell. They probably think I'm a lousy salesman. You know,
[27:36] they said, I said, would you like to help us? To President of France, Macron, nice guy. He is a
[27:43] nice guy. He said, Emmanuel, would you like to help? Yes, yes, yes.
[27:47] As soon as the war is over, we will send ships. I said, no, no, I don't want them when the war is
[27:52] over. I want them before we start. And UK, our longest ally, you know, nobody ever thought this
[27:59] was possible. I said to the prime minister, I said, Mr. Prime Minister, we'd like you have two
[28:06] aircraft carriers. They're little ones. They're not very good. I know they don't go fast and I
[28:11] know they don't work very well, but we could probably use them maybe for helicopters. And
[28:16] they said, yes, oh, yes, we are preparing.
[28:19] I said, when will they be ready? Maybe in a month or two. Oh, great. That's wonderful.
[28:26] I said, are you going to help us? Yes, yes, we're going to help you when the war is finished.
[28:30] We will be there. This is NATO. And I've always said NATO is a paper tiger. And I always said we
[28:37] help NATO, but they'll never help us. And if the big one ever happened, and I don't think it will,
[28:44] but if the big one ever happened, I guarantee you they wouldn't be there. And we learned from that.
[28:50] And remember what I said, because they made a big mistake. They were not there.
[28:56] The chancellor of Germany, these are all friends of mine, Friedrich, the chancellor of Germany,
[29:00] he said, this is not our war. We have nothing to do. Well, Ukraine's not our war, but we helped
[29:06] them. I wouldn't have had a help if I were president, that war would have never happened.
[29:10] But we had a man who of a very low IQ as president, and he had no idea what the hell it was. I was
[29:16] listening to him talk. I said, he's forcing an issue that's going to be trouble. And it turned
[29:21] out to be trouble.
[29:22] Last week, 28,000 soldiers died. The week before that, 32,000 soldiers died. I think we're going to
[29:28] get it settled, but it's a terrible, it's a terrible thing. Worse since World War II.
[29:33] I settled eight wars. And this should have been one of the easier ones. But the hatred between
[29:38] President Putin and President Zelensky is extreme. Never good. Hatred's a bad thing when
[29:45] you're trying to settle a war. I want to thank the entire kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Been very helpful.
[29:53] And don't listen to any of those excuses. OK?
[30:28] Thank you.
[30:28] Thank you.
[30:29] namely an aircraft carrier, biggest in the world.
[30:33] And they were shot, 101, going 2,500 miles an hour.
[30:39] And out of the 101 missiles shot,
[30:42] 101 missiles were shot down and spread out all over the sea.
[30:49] Pretty amazing.
[30:51] And spread out all over the sea. Pretty amazing.
[30:55] That's called incredible technology, right, Steve?
[30:59] That's called great tech. Think of it.
[31:00] 101 missiles going 2,500 miles an hour.
[31:03] You don't have a lot of time.
[31:06] And these aren't necessarily weightlifting shoulders.
[31:09] These are very smart people doing that.
[31:12] And I watched them. I watched their performance.
[31:15] Missiles launched. Missiles launched.
[31:17] It's almost like they're bored by it.
[31:18] They have, like, nine seconds.
[31:20] Head of FIFA, the most powerful man in sports, Johnny.
[31:24] Johnny, you never choked, right?
[31:27] These guys can't choke, but they're very smart.
[31:29] High IQs. We need high IQs.
[31:31] We have too many low IQs.
[31:32] But what happened is, you have to see it.
[31:36] It's very cool.
[31:37] Missiles launched. Missiles launched.
[31:39] Missiles launching.
[31:41] They're launching.
[31:41] Okay, we're ready.
[31:43] There's 101 missiles coming at them.
[31:46] All right.
[31:47] We have to have, like, 11 seconds to make a determination.
[31:51] And then at seven seconds, fire.
[31:59] Just fire them out like they were nothing.
[32:01] Genius. It's, like, unbelievable.
[32:03] I mean, to think the — and we have the technology.
[32:06] Nobody has. Look at what happened.
[32:07] In Venezuela, they had other equipment, not ours.
[32:09] They made the mistake of using other equipment.
[32:11] It didn't work too well.
[32:13] And Venezuela was, you know, it was a lot more powerful.
[32:15] It was a lot more powerful.
[32:17] But it's not powerful anymore.
[32:20] Within two days, I think, the damage was done.
[32:26] But now it's really done.
[32:28] Now we're just going after targets.
[32:30] And, again, they have no anti-aircraft.
[32:32] So we're just floating over the top, looking for whatever we want.
[32:34] And, you know, we're just going after targets.
[32:36] And, again, they have no anti-aircraft.
[32:38] So we're just floating over the top, looking for whatever we want.
[32:40] And, again, they have no anti-aircraft.
[32:42] So we're just floating over the top, looking for whatever we want.
[32:44] And we're hitting it.
[32:46] And we have another 3,554 targets.
[32:48] 3,554 targets left.
[32:50] 3,554 targets left.
[32:52] And that'll be done pretty quickly.
[32:54] And then, you know, at some point, we're going to have to determine what we do.
[32:56] And then, you know, at some point, we're going to have to determine what we do.
[32:58] But they have — they've never seen anything like it.
[33:01] But they have — they've never seen anything like it.
[33:04] When we hit Venezuela,
[33:06] and, you know, that's a very strong military country.
[33:08] And, you know, that's a very strong military country.
[33:10] They have soldiers.
[33:12] If you've ever been there, I've been there.
[33:14] I've been to the place. Everyone's a soldier.
[33:17] Very military kind of a place.
[33:19] And the general — there was a general,
[33:21] professional general, really good.
[33:23] And he said, we were all set for him.
[33:25] We knew there was a problem when we noticed
[33:27] at 1 o'clock in the morning,
[33:29] every 32 seconds, another airplane,
[33:31] a very fast plane,
[33:33] was coming off the deck of an aircraft carrier.
[33:35] That's actually the biggest aircraft carrier in the world.
[33:37] That's actually the biggest aircraft carrier in the world.
[33:40] And every 32 seconds,
[33:42] boom, boom, boom.
[33:44] And it was 1 o'clock in the morning.
[33:46] We were in trouble.
[33:48] But they were ready for us, Johnny.
[33:51] And we were ready.
[33:53] He said, we were ready.
[33:55] And then they hit us.
[33:57] And they came from 17 different angles.
[33:59] They were here. They were there.
[34:01] We ran for our lives. It was over.
[34:03] And it was over.
[34:06] And then we took this guy,
[34:08] who was a very bad guy,
[34:10] and within literally minutes,
[34:12] he was in the back of a helicopter
[34:14] in a house that was in a big military base
[34:16] full of soldiers.
[34:18] The house was all steel,
[34:20] with steel doors, steel everything.
[34:22] They had the small steel doors,
[34:24] the big steel doors.
[34:26] We were equipped for anything.
[34:28] Even the big, big one,
[34:31] it would have been opened within 30 seconds.
[34:33] They walked in with blow torches.
[34:35] And within minutes,
[34:37] he was out of the house,
[34:39] being thrown into the helicopter,
[34:42] sailing away,
[34:44] and the soldiers just looked,
[34:46] what's happening now?
[34:48] Because we took a very strong country.
[34:50] I could see yesterday the problem you would have had.
[34:52] I mean, this was not a weak country.
[34:54] This was a strong country.
[34:56] They had over 10,000 missiles
[34:58] that they accumulated since October 2nd,
[35:00] if you think,
[35:02] since the B-2s.
[35:04] Really, since the B-2s,
[35:06] they accumulated them in a matter of months,
[35:09] six months.
[35:11] But they had well over 10,000.
[35:13] They had rocket launchers.
[35:15] You know, rocket launchers are more important
[35:17] than a rocket launcher out.
[35:19] That's the end of that.
[35:21] People think you can take those big rockets
[35:23] and throw them out your window,
[35:25] like when you were a child with the paper airplanes.
[35:27] It doesn't work that way.
[35:29] You need those launchers,
[35:31] and we knocked out 97% of the launchers.
[35:33] That's why you may be attacked,
[35:35] but you're not being attacked
[35:37] with very heavy numbers of missiles
[35:39] like at the beginning.
[35:42] But in particular,
[35:44] I want to thank my friend,
[35:46] the Crown Prince Mohammed,
[35:48] and a friend of all of yours, I think.
[35:50] And he's a warrior.
[35:58] He's a warrior.
[36:00] He was not afraid of this country
[36:02] that, frankly, he should have been afraid of
[36:04] because they're very powerful.
[36:06] I want to thank Tamim,
[36:08] because Tamim is,
[36:11] these three people have been unbelievable.
[36:13] Tamim, and then UAE,
[36:15] Mohammed,
[36:17] these are three great people.
[36:19] And they were under tremendous attack,
[36:21] unexpected attack.
[36:24] And they weren't thinking this was going to happen.
[36:26] They were against them
[36:28] and really became very powerfully aligned.
[36:30] And they were with us,
[36:32] but they weren't with us very obliquely.
[36:34] They were with us.
[36:36] But I think that I have to acknowledge
[36:38] for their bravery,
[36:40] because they were being hit pretty hard.
[36:42] All three of them,
[36:45] they were being hit pretty hard.
[36:47] The Emir, Mohammed,
[36:50] Mohammed,
[36:52] he had two Mohammeds,
[36:55] and Tamim,
[36:57] and they're friends of mine.
[36:59] They were stand-up,
[37:01] more so than NATO,
[37:03] I want to say,
[37:05] more so than NATO.
[37:07] They were a little closer to the action than NATO,
[37:09] in all fairness.
[37:11] Very disappointed with NATO,
[37:13] but I wasn't disappointed with our allies
[37:15] in the Middle East,
[37:17] and others,
[37:19] and others.
[37:21] We had tremendous support from countries
[37:23] that were not in the general area,
[37:25] but they were tremendously supportive.
[37:27] I think Turkey was fantastic,
[37:30] and they stayed out of things
[37:32] that we asked them to,
[37:34] and he's a great leader.
[37:36] He's a great leader.
[37:39] And Indonesia was great.
[37:41] So many,
[37:43] we had so many great,
[37:45] you know, you learn who your friends are,
[37:47] really do,
[37:49] you learn who your friends are.
[37:52] But Indonesia, Turkey,
[37:54] and so many other countries,
[37:56] but the five were great,
[37:58] but your dear friend
[38:01] and my dear friend,
[38:03] he wasn't scared.
[38:05] Maybe he was, I don't know,
[38:07] maybe he was, but he didn't show it.
[38:09] He was great, a great leader.
[38:11] You can be very,
[38:13] Saudi Arabia can be very proud of your,
[38:15] because he's got a lot of titles.
[38:17] He's the crown prince.
[38:19] He's the prime minister.
[38:21] He's the future king.
[38:23] He's got about seven other titles.
[38:25] I said, you have more titles
[38:28] than any human being on Earth.
[38:30] He's everything,
[38:36] but he's got to be transformed,
[38:38] and the future of that region is never,
[38:40] I don't think it's ever looked brighter.
[38:42] You couldn't have, you know,
[38:44] we did the Abraham Accords.
[38:46] I hope you're going to be getting into
[38:48] the Abraham Accords finally.
[38:50] Yeah, sir, will you please go back and explain?
[38:52] It's time now.
[38:54] You know, Muhammad said, oh yes,
[38:56] as soon as we do this,
[38:58] as soon as we do that.
[39:00] I said, Muhammad, we did that.
[39:03] Oh yes, but we have a couple of other things.
[39:05] It's now time.
[39:07] And we hope all of the countries
[39:09] are going to be in the Abraham Accords.
[39:11] We have some very brave countries that did it.
[39:15] You know, years ago, they went in,
[39:17] and you know who they are, the four,
[39:19] the early four,
[39:21] and they did a great thing in doing it.
[39:23] And it was great for them also economically,
[39:25] but it was a great thing that they did it.
[39:27] But I think all the Middle Eastern countries
[39:29] are going to be joining now.
[39:32] And in some cases, I would say
[39:34] all the Middle Eastern countries and beyond.
[39:36] You have people not in the Middle East
[39:38] because you'll be seeing that soon.
[39:40] In the meantime, the conflict in Iran
[39:42] also makes it absolutely vital
[39:44] for the radical left Democrats
[39:46] in Congress to immediately end
[39:48] their dangerous shutdown of our
[39:50] Department of Homeland Security.
[39:52] You know, they want to play games.
[39:54] That's all they are.
[39:57] These people are lunatics.
[39:59] They sort of remind me of,
[40:01] they remind me actually a little bit of Iran.
[40:03] They deranged,
[40:06] they deranged Democrats.
[40:08] For 42 days, they've tried to
[40:10] completely eliminate funding
[40:12] for the number one duty of government,
[40:14] which is keeping America safe.
[40:17] And they want no ICE.
[40:19] They want no Border Patrol.
[40:21] They want no protection of any kind
[40:23] to be given reopening our borders
[40:25] and stopping all immigration enforcement
[40:27] in our country.
[40:29] They want to have our borders be open again.
[40:31] We opened, we took in 25 million people.
[40:33] We've gotten a lot of them out.
[40:36] Tremendous numbers of people
[40:38] that should never have been here.
[40:40] Over four long years before my election,
[40:42] all lunatic Democrats
[40:44] let 25 million people pour across our borders
[40:46] like they were nothing,
[40:48] like they were non-existent.
[40:51] These people were totally unvetted,
[40:53] unchecked, including murderers,
[40:55] drug dealers, gang members,
[40:57] vicious criminals, even the criminally insane.
[40:59] In 2024,
[41:01] the American people voted in a landslide
[41:03] to stop the invasion of our country.
[41:05] And I won all seven swing states
[41:08] by millions and millions of votes.
[41:10] We won the electoral college
[41:12] by a massive
[41:14] number.
[41:17] We won the popular vote
[41:19] by millions and votes.
[41:21] Just millions.
[41:23] This was a big election.
[41:26] I loved every minute of it.
[41:28] And for the first time,
[41:30] no Republicans have done anything like this
[41:32] in decades.
[41:34] But for the first time,
[41:36] we won the counties of America.
[41:38] That's a big one.
[41:40] 2,700 to 525.
[41:43] 2,700 to 525.
[41:45] 87% of the vote.
[41:47] Like our country has not seen
[41:49] in many decades.
[41:51] It was a mandate for an ideology,
[41:53] which is an ideology.
[42:04] And right now, my polls are better
[42:06] than they've ever been before.
[42:08] You know, I heard the other day,
[42:10] I think that he's losing the MAGA base.
[42:12] I said, really?
[42:15] Because of the war.
[42:17] See, I get into a war.
[42:19] Of course, they call it a war.
[42:21] I call it a military conflict.
[42:23] But there's a legal reason for that.
[42:25] For you, and then they say my base.
[42:27] I said, no, no.
[42:30] For you, and then they say my base.
[42:32] I said, no, no.
[42:34] MAGA is stronger than ever
[42:36] because MAGAs make America great again.
[42:38] But my MAGA people,
[42:40] which is the greatest phrase in the history of politics,
[42:42] it's the most important movement by far,
[42:44] probably in the history of the world.
[42:46] I mean, you know,
[42:49] there's never been anything like this.
[42:51] And in fact,
[42:53] just a few days ago,
[42:55] you brought a lot of fake news with you.
[42:57] They must know you're going to make a speech at some point
[42:59] because look at the...
[43:01] But what happened is
[43:03] the fake news was saying he may...
[43:05] They hope.
[43:07] You know, it's like, oh, we got to get rid of this guy.
[43:10] They say he may be losing his MAGA base.
[43:12] And that would be maybe
[43:15] the end of him.
[43:17] And then I happened to be watching CNN,
[43:20] which is terrible.
[43:22] They treat me terribly.
[43:24] In fact, just a few days ago,
[43:26] CNN had a poll that had me at
[43:29] 100% of MAGA voters.
[43:31] They said they've never seen anything like that.
[43:33] Can you put that up?
[43:35] I actually said if you could put it up.
[43:37] Do you have the technology to put it up?
[43:39] Go ahead, give it a shot.
[43:42] You know, sometimes you look at the polling data
[43:44] and there are numbers that just jump off the screen at you.
[43:46] And this is one of those.
[43:48] Because just take a look here.
[43:50] MAGA GOP view of Trump.
[43:52] Approved 100%.
[43:54] 100%.
[43:56] If you are a member of MAGA and the GOP,
[43:58] you approve of Donald John Trump
[44:00] 100% say that they disapprove.
[44:02] You don't have to be a mathematical genius
[44:04] to know you can't go higher
[44:06] than 100%.
[44:08] He is the 1972 Miami Dolphins.
[44:10] Good technology, thank you.
[44:15] I figured you'd have good tech.
[44:17] I said I wonder if they could put that poll up.
[44:19] We just did it two minutes ago.
[44:21] No, but I was watching this and I'm hearing them saying
[44:23] could he be losing the MAGA base?
[44:25] I don't think so. You know why?
[44:27] Because MAGA wants to win, number one.
[44:29] Number two, they want our country protected.
[44:31] They don't want another country out there
[44:33] that is hostile and crazy
[44:35] to have a nuclear weapon.
[44:37] And number three,
[44:39] they like us protecting certain allies.
[44:41] Whether it's Israel or Saudi Arabia
[44:43] or Qatar or UAE.
[44:45] Any of them.
[44:47] They want that.
[44:49] MAGA wants strength.
[44:51] And they want victory.
[44:53] They want success.
[44:55] And that's what we have.
[44:57] And we have been very, very successful.
[44:59] You know, when I went into Venezuela,
[45:01] I said because I campaigned on the fact
[45:05] that you'll never have to use it.
[45:07] And Cuba's next, by the way.
[45:09] But pretend I didn't say that, please.
[45:11] Pretend I didn't say that.
[45:13] Please. Please.
[45:15] Please, media.
[45:18] Please disregard that statement.
[45:20] Thank you very much.
[45:23] Cuba's next.
[45:25] So despite the radical left Democrat shutdown,
[45:27] we will continue to defend the sovereign borders
[45:29] of the United States of America
[45:31] and we'll defend our allies.
[45:33] Your ally.
[45:36] You didn't know they were that tough, did you?
[45:38] You didn't know.
[45:40] They were pretty tough, aren't they?
[45:42] Not tough anymore.
[45:44] Now we'll continue to deport dangerous
[45:46] criminal aliens from our country.
[45:48] Just days ago, an 18-year-old girl
[45:50] in Chicago named Sheridan Gorman
[45:52] was gunned down by a savage criminal alien
[45:54] led in by sleepy Joe Biden
[45:57] and released in a Democrat sanctuary city.
[45:59] He was an animal.
[46:01] The same month, an 83-year-old
[46:03] veteran, highly regarded person
[46:05] was shoved onto the subway tracks
[46:07] and murdered by an illegal alien
[46:09] with a long criminal history
[46:11] in New York City.
[46:14] These are vicious criminal thugs,
[46:16] disgusting human beings
[46:18] that Democrats have defunded
[46:20] our airports to protect.
[46:22] They want our airports to be defunded
[46:24] so that these people can come into our country.
[46:26] It's not going to happen.
[46:28] We're not going to have it.
[46:30] That's why this week I deployed ice
[46:32] to our airports to help reduce the delays.
[46:34] People there are doing a great job,
[46:36] but they didn't want to pay them.
[46:38] The Democrats didn't want to pay them.
[46:41] So I also ordered emergency funding
[46:43] to resume paying the TSA agents immediately.
[46:45] They're getting paid.
[46:47] Democrats must stop their
[46:49] dangerous and destructive shutdown
[46:51] and reopen the Department of Homeland Security
[46:53] without delay.
[46:55] And it's time that they start
[46:57] thinking properly.
[46:59] That's why they lost in such a landslide
[47:01] and put America first.
[47:03] It's time that they start thinking
[47:05] about America first.
[47:07] And we're honored to be joined tonight
[47:09] by many distinguished guests from around the world,
[47:11] including FII Institute Chairman,
[47:13] Yasser Al Romain.
[47:15] Where are you, Yasser?
[47:17] Come here, stand up, Yasser.
[47:19] Please, what a nice name.
[47:21] What a nice name.
[47:26] And his son, Faisal.
[47:29] And by the way, I've known him really well,
[47:31] but you know, I've never heard his last name.
[47:34] So I'm saying, who the hell is Yasser?
[47:36] I know Yasser.
[47:39] I said, who the hell is that guy?
[47:41] But I know him by Yasser, right?
[47:43] I didn't know if it was your first name or your last name.
[47:45] All I know is he's got a lot of power.
[47:48] He's a great leader, actually.
[47:50] And he's a good friend of mine.
[47:52] So, nice to be with you,
[47:54] and nice to be with your son.
[47:57] Your son's beautiful.
[47:59] Saudi Minister of Finance,
[48:01] Mohammed Al-Jaddan.
[48:03] Thank you very much.
[48:08] Thank you very much.
[48:10] Nice to see you again.
[48:12] I mean, if you want to be a Minister of Finance,
[48:14] Saudi Arabia's a good place to do it, right?
[48:16] You don't have any dearth.
[48:18] There's no dearth of funds.
[48:21] Most places, they say, where are we going to get the money?
[48:23] Mohammed?
[48:26] Thank you very much.
[48:29] Great honor.
[48:31] Chairman of the Saudi Esports Federation,
[48:33] His Royal Highness, Prince Faisal.
[48:38] And of course, please, thank you.
[48:40] And of course, the Kingdom's wonderful ambassador
[48:42] to the United States,
[48:44] Her Royal Highness, Princess Rima,
[48:46] who's great.
[48:56] She's great.
[48:58] Also, I want to thank the President of Sierra Leone,
[49:00] Julius Madabio.
[49:02] Madabio.
[49:04] I love that name.
[49:06] Thank you.
[49:09] Great honor to have you.
[49:11] And Chairman of the FII Institute Executive Committee,
[49:13] Richard Attias.
[49:16] Thank you, Richard.
[49:20] As well as Special Envoy,
[49:22] I call him Henry Kissinger,
[49:24] who doesn't leak.
[49:26] Because Henry's a big leaker.
[49:29] Richard Nixon would beat him.
[49:31] Henry, somebody's leaking on us.
[49:33] There's somebody leaking.
[49:35] Henry would say, we'll get to the bottom.
[49:37] It was Henry that was leaking.
[49:40] Henry Kissinger, better than Henry Kissinger.
[49:42] And he doesn't leak.
[49:44] Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff.
[49:46] Thank you, Steve.
[49:50] Doing a great job.
[49:52] And he and Jared, Jared Kushner,
[49:54] they're like a team.
[49:56] And boy, I tell you, they're a good team.
[49:58] High IQ.
[50:00] It's a high IQ team.
[50:02] You want to find your high IQ people.
[50:04] Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy,
[50:06] Michael Kratios.
[50:09] A Greek individual.
[50:11] Where's Michael?
[50:13] He was at the Greek event yesterday,
[50:15] so I know he's Greek.
[50:17] They asked me, please, sir,
[50:19] would you introduce Michael?
[50:21] CMS administrator.
[50:23] A phenomenal man.
[50:25] A brilliant man.
[50:27] You know, he had a show on television for like 20 years
[50:29] that was so great.
[50:31] I was on his show.
[50:33] He said, would you do me a favor?
[50:35] Would you go on my show?
[50:37] I said, yeah, yeah, I'll go on your show.
[50:40] It's a big show.
[50:42] It was very successful.
[50:44] He said, I don't think you should lose weight.
[50:46] I said, I don't need you saying that
[50:48] in front of millions of people.
[50:50] You don't have to tell me that.
[50:52] But he's a great guy,
[50:55] and I don't know how he ever got the job after that,
[50:57] but he's the most powerful man, actually.
[50:59] Medicine, him and Bobby.
[51:01] What a team.
[51:03] Bobby is great.
[51:09] He's great.
[51:11] Dr. Oz.
[51:13] You know that?
[51:15] Mehmet Oz.
[51:17] He's so important to us.
[51:19] We want to find out why is it happening in such large numbers
[51:21] all over the world,
[51:23] but why is it happening in our country all over the world?
[51:25] And you're coming up with some pretty impressive
[51:27] studies and answers.
[51:29] A really good friend of mine,
[51:31] the president of FIFA,
[51:33] Gianni Infantino.
[51:35] And Gianni is great.
[51:41] You know, when I didn't get the
[51:43] Nobel Peace Prize,
[51:45] you got to understand, I don't care.
[51:48] Norway has lost so credible.
[51:50] I stopped eight wars.
[51:52] I even stopped India and Pakistan.
[51:55] And they were going at it for a week.
[51:57] They had nine planes already shot down.
[51:59] They were in a war. I stopped them.
[52:01] You know how I stopped them?
[52:03] I said, if you keep fighting,
[52:05] I'm going to put a 250% tariff on each one.
[52:07] No, no, no, you cannot do that.
[52:09] I said, I'm doing it.
[52:12] All right, we won't fight anymore.
[52:14] That's how I stopped them.
[52:16] I used tariffs to stop.
[52:18] You ever hear of anything like that?
[52:20] It was too much for them to bear.
[52:22] But they were going to be in a war,
[52:24] and Pakistan said President Trump
[52:26] saved 30 to 50 million people.
[52:28] Two nuclear countries.
[52:30] What happened?
[52:32] And I figured,
[52:35] if I don't get the Nobel
[52:37] Prize for Peace, nobody will ever get it.
[52:39] I didn't get it.
[52:41] I'm not surprised. I didn't get it.
[52:44] And the person that got it was shocked.
[52:46] She's a wonderful woman, too, by the way.
[52:48] And she said, no, no, no,
[52:50] I don't deserve it. President Trump doesn't.
[52:52] Nobody deserves it. Nobody ever deserves it.
[52:54] I stopped eight wars yesterday. Do you know what that is?
[52:56] Eight wars. You didn't stop eight wars.
[52:58] You started eight wars, yes.
[53:01] I stopped eight wars.
[53:03] But it was a little early, because in all fairness,
[53:05] it was for the year before, right?
[53:07] It was for 24.
[53:10] But still, you thought they would have made an exception.
[53:12] But they didn't do that.
[53:14] You watch what happens.
[53:16] But it was sort of amazing.
[53:18] She was so nice, and she actually came
[53:20] to the White House, and she presented me
[53:22] with her award.
[53:24] She's a wonderful woman.
[53:26] But stopping wars is,
[53:29] it's the best,
[53:31] I think I do it the best.
[53:33] I stopped wars that nobody thought.
[53:35] President Putin called me. He said, I can't believe you stopped
[53:37] this one and this one, which are impossible.
[53:39] Azerbaijan
[53:42] was an impossible war to stop.
[53:44] We stopped it.
[53:47] But we also have a man who's
[53:49] probably good at stopping wars.
[53:51] I know he's good at being a tough guy.
[53:53] He is a tough guy. He's been very tough on crime,
[53:55] and he's done a great job.
[53:57] Miami Mayor Francis Suarez
[53:59] is here someplace.
[54:01] Hi, how are you?
[54:05] Now we have our great son.
[54:07] He's got the best genes I think of any human being
[54:09] I've ever known.
[54:11] He's my son, Don Trump.
[54:13] Don.
[54:16] He's a great guy.
[54:18] And his fiancée, Bettina.
[54:20] Good, Bettina, good.
[54:22] Now my son's got the greatest genes in history.
[54:26] I'm a big believer in genes, by the way, I will tell you.
[54:30] My daughter Tiffany,
[54:32] and her husband Michael.
[54:35] My beautiful daughter.
[54:37] And they have a new child,
[54:39] the most beautiful guy we've seen, right?
[54:41] Blows us all away, right?
[54:43] He's great.
[54:45] Thank you for being here.
[54:47] And countless other business leaders.
[54:49] We have so many friends of mine here,
[54:51] so many business leaders, but we can't go on
[54:53] because we have a couple of moments more
[54:55] to discuss the world and the economy.
[54:57] Over the past 14 months,
[54:59] the Trump administration has achieved
[55:01] perhaps the most dramatic one-year turnaround
[55:04] of any nation in all of history.
[55:07] A short time ago,
[55:09] I asked the King, the future King of Saudi Arabia,
[55:11] and I also love the King of Saudi Arabia,
[55:13] what a man he is, when I was there.
[55:15] We bonded.
[55:18] He would grab me to get up.
[55:20] He was a little frail at the time,
[55:22] and this was a long time ago,
[55:24] and he's still doing well.
[55:26] And he grabbed my arm to get up
[55:28] when I was sitting next to him.
[55:30] And they said that's the only time
[55:32] he's ever grabbed anybody.
[55:34] He would grab me all the time.
[55:36] And I said, I think he likes me.
[55:38] And he did like me, and he still likes me.
[55:41] But a short time ago,
[55:43] we were together,
[55:45] and he looked at me,
[55:48] and he said, you know, it's amazing.
[55:51] One year ago, you were a dead country.
[55:53] Now you're the hottest country
[55:56] anywhere in the world.
[55:58] He didn't think this was going to happen.
[56:00] He didn't think he'd be kissing my ass.
[56:02] He really didn't.
[56:04] He thought he'd be just another American president
[56:07] that was a loser,
[56:09] where the country was going downhill.
[56:11] But now he has to be nice to me.
[56:13] You tell him he better be nice to me.
[56:15] He's got to be.
[56:17] But it was really something.
[56:19] No, he said, though,
[56:21] he said, you know, it's amazing, President,
[56:23] because he's a very smart,
[56:25] but a regular kind of a guy.
[56:27] He said, you know, it's amazing, President.
[56:30] A year ago, in that case,
[56:32] it was a year and a half,
[56:35] it was six months ago,
[56:37] but a year ago, you were a dead country.
[56:39] Now you're literally the hottest country
[56:41] anywhere in the world.
[56:43] And that was before we beat the hell out of Iran.
[56:46] You know, now I think he's got to say even better.
[56:48] But he's fantastic.
[56:50] And everything we do,
[56:52] we're working to make America
[56:54] the number one place on earth to do business.
[56:56] We passed the largest tax cuts
[56:58] in American history,
[57:00] including no tax on tips,
[57:02] no tax on overtime,
[57:04] no tax on Social Security for our great seniors.
[57:07] We provided 100 percent
[57:09] expensing and bonus depreciation
[57:11] so that anyone who wants to build a factory
[57:13] can deduct the entire cost
[57:15] of equipment and the entire factory
[57:17] in the first year.
[57:19] We've got 38 years to do.
[57:21] Take it little drips, little drips,
[57:23] now it's done.
[57:25] And you know, a lot of people remember
[57:27] that my first four years
[57:29] was the most successful time
[57:31] we've ever had financially
[57:33] in the history of our country.
[57:35] We had an unbelievable success,
[57:37] but this is much better.
[57:39] And by the way, when this war ends,
[57:41] it's going to be like a rocket ship.
[57:43] I thought we were going to go down more,
[57:45] and I thought oil prices were going to go up higher
[57:47] than they are now. It's not finished yet.
[57:49] But it's not finished.
[57:51] It's got to be finished.
[57:54] And I thought that we would see
[57:56] a bigger drop in stock.
[57:58] It hasn't been that bad.
[58:00] You know, it's sort of crazy.
[58:02] I hit 50,000 on the Dow.
[58:05] People said that wouldn't be possible
[58:07] within four years.
[58:09] I did it in one year.
[58:11] And then we hit 7,000 on the S&P.
[58:13] People said that's even harder
[58:15] than hitting 50,000 on the Dow.
[58:17] And I did that in less than one year.
[58:19] Toward the end of the year,
[58:21] we broke every record,
[58:23] every stock record we broke.
[58:25] And you're big beneficiaries
[58:27] because so many of you invest in the United States
[58:29] and keep doing it because
[58:31] it's going to be a rocket ship you watch.
[58:34] But then I said, all right,
[58:36] do I have to do this?
[58:39] We have a country that's sick and demented,
[58:41] and they have a nuclear weapon
[58:43] or they want to have one.
[58:45] They were very close to getting it.
[58:47] Remember, they were two weeks away.
[58:50] They were two weeks away.
[58:52] If we didn't knock the hell out of them,
[58:54] they would have had a nuclear weapon
[58:56] within two to four weeks,
[58:58] and they would have used it on you
[59:01] and on Israel and on everyone else.
[59:03] And I said, we really do have to stop
[59:05] and go on a little different journey
[59:07] for a little while and take them out
[59:10] and then go back to life.
[59:12] And that's what we did.
[59:14] And we did it violently.
[59:16] We did it powerfully.
[59:18] We did it with the respect of the world.
[59:20] And we helped a lot of allies.
[59:22] And we learned about other allies.
[59:24] We didn't need them,
[59:26] but they weren't there if we did need them.
[59:28] And that's going to be very costly for them.
[59:31] The stock market has set 53 all-time record highs
[59:35] since the election,
[59:37] adding $9 trillion in value
[59:39] to America's savings and retirement accounts
[59:41] and 401 s.
[59:43] Everybody's benefiting by this.
[59:45] And more Americans are working today
[59:47] than at any time in the history of our country.
[59:49] At any time.
[59:51] To me, that's the number one stat.
[59:53] More Americans are working today, by far,
[59:55] than at any time in the history of our country.
[59:58] And in 14 months,
[1:00:00] we've lifted 3.3 million Americans
[1:00:02] off of food stamps.
[1:00:04] That's a record.
[1:00:06] And Biden and his allies wrecked our country.
[1:00:10] They wreaked havoc on our economy
[1:00:12] and they gave us the worst inflation
[1:00:14] in American history.
[1:00:16] Under Trump,
[1:00:18] during the last three months of 2025,
[1:00:20] we got core inflation down to 1.6%.
[1:00:22] And right now,
[1:00:25] the average tax refund for filers
[1:00:27] because of the great, big, beautiful bill
[1:00:29] has been close to $5,000.
[1:00:31] It's a lot of money for a family.
[1:00:33] And this, you know,
[1:00:35] when I'm talking to Saudi Arabia
[1:00:37] and I'm talking about $5,000,
[1:00:39] they look at me, $5,000?
[1:00:41] That's like a penny, right, David?
[1:00:43] That's like a penny.
[1:00:45] Saudi Arabia's not into $5,000.
[1:00:48] But it's Saudi Arabia.
[1:00:51] I just want to ask,
[1:00:53] are the Saudis impressed by the fact
[1:00:55] that a family has saved $5,000?
[1:00:57] They're looking like,
[1:00:59] what the hell is $5,000?
[1:01:01] But that's the way it goes.
[1:01:03] We're talking about,
[1:01:05] we're talking about the real world.
[1:01:07] In his entire term, Joe Biden,
[1:01:09] I have two terms for him,
[1:01:12] Crooked Joe and Sleepy Joe.
[1:01:15] It's always been pretty,
[1:01:17] you know, I do sometimes a poll,
[1:01:19] which is a more accurate term,
[1:01:21] Sleepy or Crooked, pretty much even.
[1:01:23] I like Sleepy.
[1:01:26] In his entire term, Sleepy Joe Biden
[1:01:28] got less than $1 trillion
[1:01:30] of new investment in the United States.
[1:01:32] A lot less.
[1:01:35] In our first 11 months,
[1:01:37] 12th month is coming,
[1:01:39] it's going to be big.
[1:01:41] We did $18 trillion.
[1:01:43] Think of it, less than $1 trillion
[1:01:45] for four years.
[1:01:47] In 11 months, we did $18 trillion.
[1:01:49] And we have factories being built
[1:01:51] all over the country at a level
[1:01:53] that's never been seen before.
[1:01:55] And a lot of that has to do with
[1:01:57] the fact that I allow these plants
[1:01:59] and everything to build their own electricity.
[1:02:01] Well, we need big electricity.
[1:02:03] They're all building their own electricity.
[1:02:05] The biggest tax reduction bill in history,
[1:02:07] the great, big, beautiful bill.
[1:02:09] And a lot of it has to do with
[1:02:11] the one-year deductibility,
[1:02:13] where you build a plant and you take
[1:02:15] the whole thing as a deduction.
[1:02:18] I did that in my first term also,
[1:02:20] but I had it for one year.
[1:02:22] Now I have it for 10 years.
[1:02:24] So it's pretty amazing,
[1:02:26] and it's pretty amazing what we're seeing.
[1:02:28] But it all started with our historic visit
[1:02:30] to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
[1:02:32] My first visit was to the future king.
[1:02:34] And on that first foreign trip,
[1:02:37] of my presidency last May,
[1:02:39] the crown prince announced that
[1:02:41] Saudi Arabia would be investing
[1:02:43] an incredible, almost $1 trillion
[1:02:45] in the United States,
[1:02:47] which he later increased
[1:02:50] as just a few examples
[1:02:52] of these new partnerships.
[1:02:54] Oracle will be building
[1:02:56] a $14 billion
[1:02:58] worth of cloud computing
[1:03:00] and AI infrastructure in the kingdom.
[1:03:02] I didn't know that, David.
[1:03:04] We have to talk to your father about that.
[1:03:06] Why isn't he doing it here, David?
[1:03:08] I'm very upset with you.
[1:03:12] And by the way, David has done a very good job.
[1:03:14] David Ellis said he just
[1:03:16] had a very big win.
[1:03:18] And your father is very proud of you
[1:03:20] because your father said,
[1:03:22] that's a tough one.
[1:03:24] And you got it done.
[1:03:27] It's going to be a great success.
[1:03:29] You're going to be a great success.
[1:03:31] You're going to blow away your father.
[1:03:33] And he'll be very happy about that
[1:03:35] because he loves you.
[1:03:37] But it's a great family.
[1:03:39] It's a great deal he made.
[1:03:41] Boeing is selling dozens
[1:03:43] of 737 airplanes
[1:03:45] and a deal valued at $4.8 billion
[1:03:47] and supporting approximately
[1:03:49] 20,000 U.S. jobs.
[1:03:51] And during our trip
[1:03:53] to the United States and Saudi Arabia
[1:03:55] and I must say also Qatar,
[1:03:58] we visited.
[1:04:00] They were fantastic.
[1:04:02] And UAE we visited.
[1:04:04] They were fantastic.
[1:04:06] All three of them.
[1:04:08] We took in a total of almost $3 trillion
[1:04:10] of military equipment.
[1:04:12] Saudi Arabia signed the largest
[1:04:14] defense sales agreement
[1:04:16] in American history.
[1:04:18] Nearly $142 billion
[1:04:20] of the finest military equipment
[1:04:22] anywhere in the world.
[1:04:24] We make the best military equipment
[1:04:26] in the world by far.
[1:04:28] Nobody's ever figured out the Patriot.
[1:04:30] I mean, when you can shoot down
[1:04:32] 101 out of 101,
[1:04:34] that's good stuff, right?
[1:04:37] And those suckers are traveling
[1:04:39] at 2,000, Mr. Minister, 2,500 miles an hour.
[1:04:42] That's the end of it.
[1:04:44] You say, well, we missed them.
[1:04:46] They're coming.
[1:04:48] When I hosted the crown prince
[1:04:50] at the White House last fall,
[1:04:52] we officially designated the kingdom
[1:04:54] as a major non-NATO ally.
[1:04:56] First time.
[1:04:59] And for the very first time,
[1:05:01] we agreed to sell Saudi Arabia
[1:05:03] perhaps the most capable fighter jet
[1:05:05] ever built, the F-35.
[1:05:07] The F-35 is amazing.
[1:05:09] And we sell them very sparingly.
[1:05:11] We don't want other people to have them.
[1:05:14] This partnership
[1:05:16] and so many others around the world
[1:05:18] will continue to grow and thrive
[1:05:20] because under President Trump,
[1:05:22] America once again fights and competes.
[1:05:24] For one thing, we fight to win.
[1:05:26] We fight for justice, and we fight to win.
[1:05:28] We don't fight to be politically correct
[1:05:31] like we did under other presidents
[1:05:33] where we fought to just keep fighting
[1:05:35] and fighting and fighting.
[1:05:38] And, you know, when I took out ISIS,
[1:05:40] I was told by generals
[1:05:42] it would take four to five years.
[1:05:45] I met General Raisin Kane,
[1:05:47] who's our top person,
[1:05:49] head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
[1:05:51] I said, if I ever do this thing again,
[1:05:53] if I ever get in, I'm putting that guy
[1:05:55] as the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
[1:05:57] I went to see him in Iraq,
[1:05:59] and I said, why is it taking so long
[1:06:01] to destroy ISIS?
[1:06:03] We have the best weapons in the world.
[1:06:05] And I understood why.
[1:06:07] But I had generals,
[1:06:10] I call them the television generals.
[1:06:12] They weren't any good.
[1:06:14] Mattis, Milley, they weren't any good. They were lousy.
[1:06:16] And I went over and I met General Kane.
[1:06:18] I said, how long will it take? Four weeks, sir.
[1:06:20] You'll have a lot of time left over.
[1:06:22] I said, wait a minute. Did you say four weeks?
[1:06:24] Four weeks, sir. It'll take four weeks.
[1:06:26] You'll have a lot of time left over.
[1:06:28] That's our new head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
[1:06:30] And he said, how do you do that?
[1:06:32] Well, sir, we were only able to fight
[1:06:35] from this one very far away location
[1:06:37] because nobody wanted to use
[1:06:39] all of our portable runways
[1:06:41] that we have all over the Middle East.
[1:06:43] We have portable runways, can you believe it?
[1:06:45] We have everything.
[1:06:47] Nobody wanted to use them
[1:06:49] because they didn't want to insult the country
[1:06:51] where the runway was located.
[1:06:53] I said, they wouldn't even know.
[1:06:55] Do you think some country's going to know
[1:06:57] when we have jets taking off? They don't know.
[1:06:59] He said, well, I agree with you, sir,
[1:07:02] but whether they know or not, who cares?
[1:07:04] He said, so we have about 17 locations
[1:07:06] that we could take off.
[1:07:08] From this one, it took eight hours
[1:07:10] to get to the destination.
[1:07:12] By the time we got there, we had to refuel all the time
[1:07:14] and we had to come back.
[1:07:16] And he said, but we have 17 different locations, sir.
[1:07:18] We're going to hit them from the right,
[1:07:20] we're going to hit them from the east and the west,
[1:07:22] and we're going to hit them from above.
[1:07:24] And you could see he was getting crazy.
[1:07:27] And I said, what's your first name?
[1:07:30] He said, Raisin, sir.
[1:07:32] What do you mean, Raisin?
[1:07:35] My name is Raisin.
[1:07:37] He said, you mean your name is Raisin Cane?
[1:07:39] And he said, yes, sir.
[1:07:41] You're the guy I'm looking for.
[1:07:43] I've been looking for you
[1:07:45] for four frickin' years.
[1:07:48] I found Raisin Cane.
[1:07:50] His first name is Dan,
[1:07:52] and I love that.
[1:07:54] I loved Raisin Cane.
[1:07:56] And I said, if I ever get in,
[1:07:58] this was before I decided to even run,
[1:08:00] I said, if I ever run and if I win,
[1:08:02] that guy's going to be the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
[1:08:04] That's exactly what happened.
[1:08:07] Then he was all for me and I'm all for him,
[1:08:09] but he's a great general.
[1:08:11] He's like one of these football coaches that's great.
[1:08:14] You know, there's some great ones, Johnny, right?
[1:08:16] And all they do is,
[1:08:18] they sit, their wives are complaining,
[1:08:20] everyone's complaining.
[1:08:22] They never go, they don't see anybody.
[1:08:24] They study film and tape.
[1:08:26] Then they go out and win,
[1:08:28] and everyone says,
[1:08:30] and other guys are out there playing golf.
[1:08:32] They're not winning.
[1:08:34] And he's been great.
[1:08:36] And Pete Hegseth has been amazing.
[1:08:38] He's been amazing.
[1:08:40] Pete has done a great job.
[1:08:42] He was born for it.
[1:08:44] I really believe he was born for it.
[1:08:46] We have a lot of great people.
[1:08:48] We had a great first four years,
[1:08:50] but the people we have now,
[1:08:53] you know, look, when I won,
[1:08:55] I was doing it for fun.
[1:08:57] Even Steve Witkoff, he said,
[1:08:59] you're doing it for fun, right?
[1:09:01] No, I guess.
[1:09:03] I don't know.
[1:09:05] I didn't know what I was doing it for, maybe.
[1:09:07] But they all said, no, he's going to run.
[1:09:09] And in September, he's going to have a lot of fun.
[1:09:11] He'll drop out.
[1:09:13] Then the debates came and I did good in the debates.
[1:09:15] And we're knocking people off,
[1:09:17] all senators, governors, mostly senators and governors,
[1:09:19] all professional politicians, smart guys.
[1:09:21] You can't be stupid and be a senator or a governor.
[1:09:23] You never got to talk.
[1:09:26] So that's a whole other story.
[1:09:29] But I ran, and then all of a sudden,
[1:09:31] there were 18 people, including me.
[1:09:33] Then there were 15.
[1:09:35] Then there were 12.
[1:09:38] Then there were nine.
[1:09:41] Then there were six, five.
[1:09:43] It was like a rocket ship.
[1:09:45] Four.
[1:09:47] Then all of a sudden, I won.
[1:09:49] But I never did it before.
[1:09:51] I went to Washington.
[1:09:53] I said, I've only been here 17 times
[1:09:55] and I've never slept over.
[1:09:58] But it was so good.
[1:10:00] It was an incredible experience.
[1:10:02] And I was in Washington,
[1:10:04] I had some recommendations from Rhino's
[1:10:06] and some good people.
[1:10:09] I mean, there were recommendations
[1:10:11] and some were really good.
[1:10:13] I mean, I had some great people.
[1:10:15] Look, I rebuilt our entire military
[1:10:17] in the first term.
[1:10:20] We got the largest tax cuts in history,
[1:10:22] the largest regulation cuts in history
[1:10:25] the first time.
[1:10:27] We did good, but I didn't have the same people generally.
[1:10:29] But I went home
[1:10:31] We have a great, we have an unbelievable, we're talking military now, but we have an
[1:10:36] unbelievable group because I got to know it.
[1:10:38] I was never in Washington.
[1:10:40] You know, it's hard.
[1:10:41] I never ran for class president.
[1:10:44] All of a sudden, ladies and gentlemen, your next president of the United States is Donald
[1:10:51] Trump.
[1:10:51] I said, really?
[1:10:52] I never did this before.
[1:10:54] Johnny, I said, how the hell did this happen?
[1:10:57] Right?
[1:10:57] But it did happen.
[1:10:59] And we had a great first term.
[1:11:00] But the second term is blowing it away, to be honest with you.
[1:11:04] It's really blowing it away.
[1:11:05] And when we decide to leave, you know, regime change.
[1:11:10] I guess we change the regime.
[1:11:12] The regime keeps, it gets blown up every two days.
[1:11:16] Everybody's afraid to announce who's the head.
[1:11:18] We don't even know who the hell the leader is.
[1:11:20] So I think we have regime change already.
[1:11:22] But we're going to be, at some point, we'll be leaving.
[1:11:26] And I think you're going to see a rocket ship because we won't have that
[1:11:31] dark cloud hanging over our heads, Steve, right, that we did before, which was a nuclear
[1:11:37] armed, sick country of Iran, because it might have affected your country, Saudi Arabia and
[1:11:44] the others.
[1:11:45] But and it certainly affected Israel more than anybody, the hatred they have for Israel.
[1:11:50] But it also affected us because with modern day equipment, they can fly.
[1:11:56] And how about how about the fact that they flew a missile 2,700 miles the other day?
[1:12:01] They didn't say that.
[1:12:02] Nobody knew they had that.
[1:12:03] Nobody knew they had that.
[1:12:04] Went 2,700 miles.
[1:12:06] So we learned a lot.
[1:12:08] But we're determined to have the best technology, the brightest minds, the greatest businesses
[1:12:13] and the strongest economic and security partnerships of any nation anywhere in the world.
[1:12:20] And for this reason, we're also committed to ensuring the United States remains number
[1:12:24] one in artificial intelligence.
[1:12:25] We're doing great.
[1:12:27] We're leading China by a lot.
[1:12:28] And I'll not allow radical left maniacs to sacrifice.
[1:12:33] American.
[1:12:34] I leadership to red tape or political correctness.
[1:12:37] It's going good.
[1:12:38] We're doing really well.
[1:12:39] We're building factories all over America, the biggest in the world.
[1:12:43] And in America, we don't fear the future.
[1:12:45] We invent the future.
[1:12:46] We're really inventing the future.
[1:12:48] We have the most brilliant minds and we invite all nations to join us in building the most
[1:12:53] powerful AI ecosystem on the planet.
[1:12:56] We're building more automobile plants than any time in the last 50 years for a lot of reasons.
[1:13:03] I think number one, maybe the election, but number two, and a close number two is tariffs.
[1:13:07] The tariffs are driving people in from Canada, Mexico, Germany, Japan, South Korea, the coming
[1:13:13] in.
[1:13:14] We're building auto plants all over the United States, tens of billions.
[1:13:19] I met Mr. Toyota in Japan.
[1:13:22] I said, What's your name is about 92 years old.
[1:13:26] Sharp is attack.
[1:13:27] What's your name?
[1:13:28] Toyota.
[1:13:30] I said, You're rich.
[1:13:32] I said, Do you have anything to do with automobiles?
[1:13:34] Yes.
[1:13:35] What do you have to do with Toyota?
[1:13:37] I own it.
[1:13:39] And I said, Well, do you want to make an investment?
[1:13:41] Yes, we're going to spend $10 billion spending $10 billion right now and building five plants.
[1:13:49] Everybody is they're all coming into America.
[1:13:51] We're going to be hotter than we were 70 years ago when we dominated the automobile.
[1:13:57] We made all of the cars.
[1:13:59] My administration has also worked tirelessly to ensure that America remains at the bleeding
[1:14:05] edge of crypto revolution.
[1:14:07] We're really doing great and if we're not going to do it, then China is going to take
[1:14:12] it over.
[1:14:13] They want to do it.
[1:14:14] We're going to be the undisputed crypto capital and Bitcoin superpower of the world.
[1:14:19] Bitcoin is very powerful.
[1:14:20] It's all becoming powerful.
[1:14:22] So many people now they want to pay you in crypto.
[1:14:24] They want to pay you in Bitcoin.
[1:14:26] And we have to be at the top of it in all of these call it an industry.
[1:14:34] Last year, I signed the landmark Genius Act into law, creating a clear and simple framework
[1:14:38] for dollar backed stable coins.
[1:14:41] And this was a historic achievement.
[1:14:43] And I'll not allow Democrats and their big bank donors, although they've had a lot of
[1:14:48] support for crypto, they will say that the Democrats have been very strong on crypto.
[1:14:52] They want to see it, too, which is shocking if you want to know the truth.
[1:14:56] But we don't want any pointless regulations or needless restrictions.
[1:15:01] We want to have free enterprise open.
[1:15:04] America became the world financial capital because we were the strongest and the freest
[1:15:08] nation on Earth.
[1:15:09] And the Trump administration is going to keep it that way.
[1:15:12] We're very open.
[1:15:14] And I tell people, if you have problems, call me, call me.
[1:15:18] And some of them are amazed.
[1:15:20] I actually take their call and get their problem solved.
[1:15:24] For four long years, our country was pushed to the brink of destruction by radicals and
[1:15:29] thugs and stupid people who punished success, pillaged our economy, dismantled our borders
[1:15:36] and surrendered our strength.
[1:15:38] But today, all of that is behind us.
[1:15:40] Our country is prospering again.
[1:15:43] I think like never before, I would say, you know, it's amazing.
[1:15:46] I thought I knew I'd do it.
[1:15:48] I didn't know I was going to do it.
[1:15:49] I knew I had no idea it was going to be this fast.
[1:15:52] But you never know.
[1:15:53] I had no idea I'd be going into Iran.
[1:15:56] I didn't think we'd have to do that.
[1:15:58] But it turned out we did because they became more and more radicalized and more and more
[1:16:02] threatening.
[1:16:03] Our economy is booming again and America is respected again all over the world, perhaps
[1:16:08] like never before.
[1:16:09] Yeah.
[1:16:10] Our business leaders, innovators, allies and partners like those in this room, incredible
[1:16:15] people in this room, credible successors, the most successful people in the world will
[1:16:21] seize every opportunity, overcome every challenge, defeat every threat.
[1:16:25] And America and our allies will thrive and prosper and win like no nations have ever
[1:16:31] won before.
[1:16:32] You're going to win like you've never had before.
[1:16:34] So I want to just thank everybody very much.
[1:16:37] And I am asked to take a few questions.
[1:16:40] And unlike other politicians.
[1:16:42] Thank you.
[1:16:42] They would like the questions screened.
[1:16:45] I don't ask for screening of the questions.
[1:16:47] You can ask me anything you want.
[1:16:49] You can talk sex.
[1:16:51] You can do whatever the hell you want.
[1:16:54] I'm here for you.
[1:16:58] Whatever question you want, you can ask.
[1:17:00] So do you want to do that?
[1:17:01] Do we have some people handling this?
[1:17:03] Here he comes.
[1:17:04] Look at this man.
[1:17:05] Very powerful man coming up, ladies and gentlemen.
[1:17:08] We'll take some questions.
[1:17:11] Thank you.
[1:17:12] Thank you very much, Mr. President.
[1:17:13] Thank you so much.
[1:17:14] And thank you for accepting.
[1:17:15] I think to take five questions, we don't want to take too much of your time.
[1:17:19] So let's talk about business.
[1:17:22] In one sentence, where should the world invest in America right now?
[1:17:28] Say what?
[1:17:29] Where should the world invest in America right now?
[1:17:33] Well, look, the one that they're going crazy about is AI.
[1:17:37] Now sometimes you'll say, let's go the opposite, because I've seen it.
[1:17:40] You know, everyone goes, but AI is going crazy.
[1:17:42] AI.
[1:17:43] So my family, we made Don.
[1:17:46] The whole family.
[1:17:49] Erica's doing a good job.
[1:17:51] All of us.
[1:17:52] Ivanka.
[1:17:53] We liked real estate.
[1:17:54] When you can make money in real estate, it's a great business.
[1:17:57] But I see some of these guys come into my office, they're wearing a T-shirt and they're
[1:18:01] 24 years old.
[1:18:02] Dad, he's got a net worth of $24 billion.
[1:18:05] I said, you got to be kidding, off a little contraption.
[1:18:11] But the money seems to be, right now, AI.
[1:18:15] And also, if you're in school, like you're going to the Wharton School or the Stern School,
[1:18:18] or any of these great schools, I mean, the numbers that they're paying to go into that
[1:18:26] business is incredible, where you see people getting a $10 million bonus to sign.
[1:18:32] Like baseball players or football players, we're giving you a $10 million.
[1:18:36] I mean, I hate to say, because it sounds ridiculous, but there have been some $100 million bonuses
[1:18:42] paid to sign.
[1:18:43] So I think probably if you're going to say one thing, AI, and just hope that it works,
[1:18:48] right?
[1:18:52] You better hope.
[1:18:53] So, Mr. President, what is the one leadership trait the world is missing right now?
[1:19:03] What is missing in leadership?
[1:19:04] Well, it's winning.
[1:19:05] You've got to win.
[1:19:06] You know, I've watched a lot of people, leaders, great leaders, and you know, the one thing
[1:19:11] about sports is you break it down into, you know, a two-hour period, something nice.
[1:19:16] You don't have to wait a lifetime to find out if somebody is a winner or a loser.
[1:19:19] You've got a lot of losers, mostly losers, fortunately.
[1:19:21] It's a good thing to have a lot of losers.
[1:19:24] I think it's a good thing.
[1:19:24] I always like to hang around with losers, actually, because it makes me feel better.
[1:19:30] I hate guys that are very, very successful, and you have to listen to their success stories.
[1:19:34] I like people that like to listen to my success.
[1:19:38] But I find, and I found this, and I'm only kidding, I want to say that, sort of.
[1:19:46] But I find that people that win, it's much easier to lead when you're successful and
[1:19:53] you win.
[1:19:54] You know, Vince Lombardi was a very tough person, a very tough football coach.
[1:19:58] He was sort of a violent guy, actually, I know him.
[1:20:02] But he won, and he got away with things because he won, you know, I say.
[1:20:06] If you win, winning helps you to become a better leader.
[1:20:10] People follow you if you win.
[1:20:13] And not everybody can win.
[1:20:14] Some people win, and some people don't win.
[1:20:16] But when you win, it's a lot easier to lead.
[1:20:19] Talking about winning, Mr. President, the world is entering in a new economic era.
[1:20:25] Who do you think are the winners, and who do you think will be the losers?
[1:20:28] Are you talking about as nations?
[1:20:29] Yes.
[1:20:30] Or sectors?
[1:20:31] Well, look, the United States right now is the hottest country anywhere in the world,
[1:20:38] by far.
[1:20:39] And we've done it very quickly because we have a good system.
[1:20:43] Now it's somewhat radicalized because the Democrats are really holding us back.
[1:20:47] And you better hope they don't get in because they'll destroy a lot of what we've built.
[1:20:51] But right now, the United States, as the future king of Saudi Arabia said, we're the hottest
[1:20:57] country anywhere in the world.
[1:20:59] I must say, I respect China greatly.
[1:21:01] Because it's amazing that with a system that, in theory, shouldn't work, you know, we go
[1:21:07] to school, and we go to the best business schools, and we do well in those schools,
[1:21:12] and we read about free entrepreneurship, and we read about all of these different things.
[1:21:18] But you look at China, how well they do, how well they manufacture.
[1:21:22] I mean, they manufacture cars so many that they actually have a contest for who can manufacture
[1:21:27] the least cars because they have so many cars.
[1:21:30] You have to have great respect.
[1:21:31] You have to have respect for China for the job they do.
[1:21:34] Like them or not like them, you have to respect them.
[1:21:38] So precisely, you would be going to China in May?
[1:21:40] Yes.
[1:21:41] Yes, I'll be going.
[1:21:42] We had a meeting, and I called up President Xi.
[1:21:46] I get along really well with him.
[1:21:47] He even approved the TikTok deal.
[1:21:49] He said, I will not approve that deal to other people, not to me.
[1:21:54] And I thought it was good if we could keep it going.
[1:21:56] I like it because I'm the number one person on TikTok.
[1:21:59] Can you believe it?
[1:22:00] I put a chart up there, another chart.
[1:22:03] Like we did with Fake News, CNN, I said, I said, you know, let's see what happens.
[1:22:09] So we got a group of very big investors, the biggest investors, and they really wanted
[1:22:14] to buy TikTok.
[1:22:15] And I did very well on TikTok in the election.
[1:22:17] I won the youth.
[1:22:18] You know, I did tremendously well with youth because of TikTok and other things, certain
[1:22:22] interviews, etc.
[1:22:23] But I did very well.
[1:22:26] And I sort of developed a liking for it.
[1:22:29] And I was told that it will never be approved by China.
[1:22:32] You had to get approval.
[1:22:33] You had to get approval.
[1:22:34] And I didn't really care.
[1:22:36] And then it got to a point where all of these very successful people were willing to pay
[1:22:41] a lot of money for TikTok.
[1:22:42] And I called up President Xi, I said, do me a favor, will you approve, please?
[1:22:47] It's good.
[1:22:48] It's good for China.
[1:22:49] Good for us.
[1:22:50] Good for everybody.
[1:22:51] Would you do me a favor?
[1:22:53] I know you said it was a hard no.
[1:22:54] And I said, I know you said no to everybody, but you haven't said no to me.
[1:22:56] Would you do me a favor?
[1:22:58] Would you approve it?
[1:22:59] It's good for China.
[1:23:00] It's good for us.
[1:23:01] You have a lot of big investors.
[1:23:03] They're investing in China also.
[1:23:04] They have a lot of money.
[1:23:05] They have a lot of money in China.
[1:23:07] I would appreciate it.
[1:23:08] He said, OK, I'll do it.
[1:23:11] Nice.
[1:23:13] It was very nice.
[1:23:14] And they bought TikTok and it's going to do good.
[1:23:18] And it was done with the consent of China.
[1:23:20] We get along well with China.
[1:23:22] You know, China used to take big advantage of us, but they don't take advantage of us
[1:23:26] anymore.
[1:23:27] Now we, you know, we compete very nicely with China.
[1:23:30] We put tariffs on China.
[1:23:32] The tariffs got too high.
[1:23:34] At one point they were up to 145 percent.
[1:23:36] You know, I was saying, no, put tariffs on that.
[1:23:39] Put tariffs on for fentanyl and 20 percent.
[1:23:41] And then one day I said, what's China paying now?
[1:23:46] Sir, they're paying 145 percent.
[1:23:48] I said 145.
[1:23:49] That's crazy.
[1:23:51] I got a little carried away.
[1:23:54] So I got them down to 100.
[1:23:56] Then I took them down a little more.
[1:23:57] And I'll never forget.
[1:23:58] I took them down a little bit from 145 to 100.
[1:24:01] And the fake news said Donald Trump collapses on China.
[1:24:05] He's paying 100 percent.
[1:24:07] Nobody pays 100.
[1:24:08] So anyway, we got it done.
[1:24:10] And now we have a great business relationship with China.
[1:24:12] I've always had a good relationship with President Xi, except for the COVID situation, because
[1:24:17] I wasn't thrilled about that.
[1:24:19] He wasn't thrilled either, by the way, but I wasn't thrilled.
[1:24:22] But I have great respect for him as a leader.
[1:24:24] And we had a deal.
[1:24:25] We had I was going there and I didn't want to go during the war.
[1:24:30] I said, look, you know, we have a thing called a war or as they would rather say, a military
[1:24:35] operation.
[1:24:37] It's for legal reasons.
[1:24:38] I say military.
[1:24:39] Because as a military operation, I don't need any approvals.
[1:24:43] As a war, you're supposed to get approval from Congress, something like that.
[1:24:47] So I call it a military operation.
[1:24:49] But we have that going along and I'd like to delay it.
[1:24:53] So we delayed it a few weeks.
[1:24:54] So I'll be going very shortly.
[1:24:55] Mr. President, we have few leaders here, business leaders from Africa.
[1:25:00] And of course, we have His Excellency, the president of Sierra Leone.
[1:25:03] What is your vision about Africa today?
[1:25:05] Well, I tell you, it's it's got tremendous potential.
[1:25:09] Now.
[1:25:10] I've been hearing about this for a very long time.
[1:25:14] And I have a lot of friends that have bet the ranch on Africa.
[1:25:17] They're very smart.
[1:25:19] It's got tremendous earth.
[1:25:20] It's got tremendous value underground, which is a very important.
[1:25:23] So do we.
[1:25:24] So does it.
[1:25:25] We have the biggest, the most oil, gas and coal and everything of any nation on Earth
[1:25:29] is big advantage.
[1:25:31] But Africa has tremendous value in its land.
[1:25:34] And if they can unify and get together, I think it's got tremendous potential.
[1:25:38] I have a lot of very smart friends.
[1:25:40] That they're putting everything into Africa.
[1:25:45] What do you think, Mr. President, is today the biggest mistake that leaders are making
[1:25:50] right now?
[1:25:52] Not sticking together.
[1:25:54] I think that NATO made a terrible mistake when they wouldn't send a small amount of
[1:26:01] military armament, when they wouldn't send just even acknowledge what we were doing for
[1:26:09] the world and taking on Iran.
[1:26:12] I never considered it very risky.
[1:26:14] But.
[1:26:14] But war is always risk, you know, a lot of strange happened to think things happen in
[1:26:20] war that very bad.
[1:26:22] But but I didn't consider it.
[1:26:25] I know how great I'm with the greatest military by far anywhere.
[1:26:28] There was nobody close.
[1:26:29] I didn't think there was a big risk, but there's always surprises with war.
[1:26:33] They could be very bad surprises.
[1:26:35] I mean, wars are lost.
[1:26:36] That should be one.
[1:26:37] Many wars are lost.
[1:26:38] You think a country is going to wipe somebody out and they end up getting wiped out themselves.
[1:26:42] So it's always risky.
[1:26:43] But I think a tremendous mistake was when NATO just wasn't there.
[1:26:50] They just weren't there.
[1:26:51] It's going to make a lot of money for the United States because we spent hundreds of
[1:26:56] billions of dollars a year on NATO, hundreds of protecting them.
[1:27:01] And we would have always been there for them.
[1:27:03] But now, based on their actions, I guess we don't have to be doing.
[1:27:07] Mr. President, that sounds like a breaking story.
[1:27:10] Yes, sir.
[1:27:12] Is that breaking news?
[1:27:13] I think we just have breaking news.
[1:27:14] But that's the fact.
[1:27:15] I've been saying that.
[1:27:16] Why would we be there for them?
[1:27:17] If they're not there?
[1:27:18] They weren't there for us.
[1:27:19] They weren't there for us.
[1:27:21] If you had one bet on the future, what would it be?
[1:27:26] That the United States will, with good leadership, remain the dominant country anywhere in the
[1:27:34] world.
[1:27:35] But you still need leadership.
[1:27:36] I mean, look at the last four years were so bad with the bad leader.
[1:27:40] You need leadership.
[1:27:41] And, you know, in theory, you need to have that.
[1:27:44] You need the open, fair elections.
[1:27:46] You need a free press.
[1:27:47] We have a terrible press.
[1:27:48] We have a very corrupt media.
[1:27:50] Think of it.
[1:27:52] I had 96 percent negative stories and I won in a landslide.
[1:27:57] And you know what that means?
[1:27:58] That means that the media has no credibility.
[1:28:03] You can't get mostly bad stories, fake stories.
[1:28:05] They were fake.
[1:28:07] The polls are fake.
[1:28:08] That's why I appreciate that one poll that I saw that 100 percent she's never seen 100
[1:28:12] percent.
[1:28:13] Nobody has.
[1:28:14] But you have to have a free and open media.
[1:28:17] And when a media can give you 96 to 97 percent bad stories, they write stories about it.
[1:28:23] Trump received 97 percent bad stories and I won in a landslide.
[1:28:29] And that means very simply that the media has no credibility because that can't happen.
[1:28:33] Now, I also have a voice more than most people.
[1:28:35] I can come up and talk about it and convince people without necessarily reading The New
[1:28:40] York Times, which is fake.
[1:28:41] I mean, if you read The New York Times, you would think we're doing badly against Iran.
[1:28:46] Remember, they have no Navy wiped out 159 ships at the bottom of the sea in three days.
[1:28:52] They have no air force.
[1:28:53] All wiped out.
[1:28:54] They have very few missiles left.
[1:28:57] Their drones are at a minimum.
[1:28:58] Their factories are gone.
[1:28:59] Their leaders are gone.
[1:29:00] The leaders are all dead.
[1:29:02] They're all dead.
[1:29:03] Nobody ever heard of the people that are left.
[1:29:06] And if you read The Times, you think we're doing poorly.
[1:29:09] It's so it's almost treasonous.
[1:29:11] I have to be honest.
[1:29:12] It's almost treasonous.
[1:29:14] But fortunately, we have other media that's fair and honest and honorable.
[1:29:18] And you have to go out and do some of your own talking because nobody else will.
[1:29:21] You know the expression I have to sell myself because nobody else will.
[1:29:27] My last question, Mr. President, is the same question I asked you last year.
[1:29:32] What do you want your legacy to be?
[1:29:34] Well, I'll tell you what.
[1:29:38] So I told you that I settled eight wars.
[1:29:41] That means millions and millions of people.
[1:29:44] Some of those wars were going on.
[1:29:45] One was 34 years.
[1:29:46] One was 32 years.
[1:29:49] One was 29 years.
[1:29:50] One was 22 years.
[1:29:52] They were long term wars and a lot of people being killed every year.
[1:29:55] So I've saved millions and millions of people.
[1:29:59] And I mean, I know it doesn't sound right for me.
[1:30:01] I say this, but I'd love my legacy to be made as a great peacemaker because I really
[1:30:08] believe I'm a peacemaker.
[1:30:09] It doesn't seem it right now, but I think I'm a peacemaker.
[1:30:11] Thank you.
[1:30:13] Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. President of United States of America, Donald J. Trump.
[1:30:50] All right.
[1:30:51] And there you have it.
[1:30:53] Trump has just concluded his speech, his major economic address that he said at the 2026
[1:31:01] FII Priority Summit.
[1:31:02] Now.
[1:31:03] If you're just hopping on, we have been streaming this entire speech on our TikTok channel and
[1:31:10] our YouTube channel.
[1:31:12] There is about one point four thousand of you guys on TikTok, as well as a couple hundred
[1:31:17] of you guys on our YouTube stream.
[1:31:21] So thank you for for following along.
[1:31:23] I am Fox 10 Phoenix live stream journalist Isabella Fredrickson.
[1:31:27] As mentioned, we've been streaming this entire speech on our platforms if you're just hopping
[1:31:32] on.
[1:31:33] If you are hopping on, say, mid stream, you can always rewind and watch this stream from
[1:31:38] the start on our YouTube channel.
[1:31:40] But just to kind of recap what that speech was, the president, as you just saw, was at
[1:31:47] the Faina Forum in Miami Beach.
[1:31:49] This was a three day summit, a three day financial summit where they had about fifteen hundred
[1:31:57] global leaders, investors and policymakers.
[1:32:01] And President Trump was the keynote speaker.
[1:32:03] Thank you.
[1:32:03] And he was the keynote speaker to close out this three day summit.
[1:32:06] This is the second year in a row that President Trump has been that keynote summit speaker
[1:32:11] at this event.
[1:32:13] There were many high profile guests at this closed door event.
[1:32:17] This includes Elon Musk, the Saudi ambassador princess Rima bin al-Assad, the minister of
[1:32:25] finance, Mohammed al-Jeddan and just other important figures in the political and financial
[1:32:33] worlds.
[1:32:34] acknowledged during his speech. But I did take some notes during that speech, so I am going to
[1:32:40] share kind of chronologically what had happened once Trump took the stage. But the president began
[1:32:46] speaking on Operation Epic Fury. He touched on how the world has never seen what he put out,
[1:32:54] Operation Epic Fury. He says that the world has never seen the weapons that Operation Epic Fury
[1:32:59] and our United States military has contributed just in the Iran war. He also says that the
[1:33:07] Iran, country of Iran, has been a bully for the past 47 years, and President Trump says
[1:33:13] Iran is no longer the bully. He further comments to say that the United States is crushing Iran's
[1:33:21] military, their military bases, and their weapons, and says that they do not have any of that
[1:33:27] anymore. He then goes on to say that he has destroyed
[1:33:31] many of their leaders. And then, once the Iran talk came to a close, the president then started
[1:33:39] to talk about the Gulf of America. He touched on how he announced it was the Gulf of America,
[1:33:45] and then Google Maps promptly switched the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on the maps.
[1:33:52] He then started speaking about the MAGA movement, and the president said that MAGA is the most
[1:33:57] important movement in the world, the most influential movement in the world. Those
[1:34:01] are the United States, the United States, the United States, and the United States.
[1:34:02] Those are direct quotes from President Donald Trump from this speech. President Trump then goes on
[1:34:08] to talk about his role in stopping wars. So, according to the president, he says he had
[1:34:14] stopped eight wars. He also claimed he had stopped India and Pakistan, and then goes on to say he has
[1:34:21] saved millions of lives. The next topic that the president discussed in this 90-minute-long
[1:34:28] summit speech is he started to talk about the tariffs and just the influence the tariffs
[1:34:33] has had worldwide, how it benefited our country and our economy. He went into detail on the
[1:34:39] tariffs. And again, I am just giving a recap based on what happened chronologically. And of course,
[1:34:47] this is on our YouTube channel. So, even once the stream has ended, you can go back and scroll to
[1:34:52] any of these moments to listen to the whole stream if you would like. But after President
[1:34:58] Trump spoke on the tariffs, he then began to touch on the topic of crypto and
[1:35:04] Bitcoin. President Trump says that both crypto and Bitcoin not only are the future, but he also
[1:35:09] said that they are the powerhouse of the world and the future. Once he closed with that topic,
[1:35:16] he did discuss a couple of other topics in between. But when his initial speech came to a
[1:35:23] close, he then said he was open to questions. And before the questions started, President Trump did
[1:35:29] say that he does not screen his questions and then goes on to say that he does not screen his questions.
[1:35:34] Unlike some other politicians who screen their questions, Trump said he does not screen any of
[1:35:40] his questions and that he welcomed all questions. He took a handful of questions after the speeches
[1:35:45] ended. He had compared his family to real estate and that they all know how to make a lot of money.
[1:35:53] One of the questions that the president was asked is who he thinks the winners are in the worldwide
[1:36:00] economy. President Trump responded by saying that the answer is the United States.
[1:36:05] The president credits the good system that the United States has for the economy. He says that
[1:36:13] it is partially radicalized because the Democrats held our economy back. But he says that that will
[1:36:22] happen no longer and that we are the hottest country anywhere in the world. So when asked who
[1:36:28] he thinks is the winner in the economy worldwide, President Trump said the United States of America.
[1:36:33] President Trump then speaks on the topic of
[1:36:37] TikTok. And he goes into some detail to talk about his role with TikTok, how he reached out
[1:36:43] personally to the president in China, and they were able to get to an approval deal through some
[1:36:49] good conversations. And then another question President Trump was asked was what his thoughts
[1:36:55] are on the continent of Africa. President Trump responded by saying that Africa has tremendous
[1:37:02] potential. He says that they have a tremendous
[1:37:05] earthlands. He says that they have a tremendous
[1:37:07] landscape, tremendous value under the earth and the ground. He also says that they had just
[1:37:13] tremendous amounts of oil, gas, coal. He repeated the word tremendous in this context, but he says
[1:37:22] that Africa had tremendous potential if they can unify and get together. He then goes on to go more
[1:37:32] into his legacy when the final question was asked. So the final question that the president was asked
[1:37:38] was what he wants his legacy to be. And then upon answering that question, President Trump says that his legacy so far is that he has stopped eight wars.
[1:37:51] He claims that some of these wars were long term, even decades long. And then he references, you know, one war was 22 years, one war was 29 years, one war was over 30 years long.
[1:38:04] So he says so far his legacy is that he stopped eight wars and that he has saved
[1:38:08] millions of people. But then he says he wants his legacy to be known as a peacemaker. President Trump
[1:38:16] says he believes he is a peacemaker and that that is what he wants his legacy to be. But that is just
[1:38:23] about it in terms of a synopsis of how that speech went. Again, it was about 90 minutes long, and that
[1:38:30] was the closing keynote speech at the FII, which was held in Miami. It was at the FANA Forum in
[1:38:38] Miami Beach. And it was a speech that was held in Miami Beach, and it was held in Miami Beach, and it was held in Miami Beach, and it was held in Miami Beach.
[1:38:39] And again, this is just a three-day summit where many influential political and economic
[1:38:46] figures gathered. This is sponsored by Saudi Arabia. And the theme of this year's summit,
[1:38:53] FII summit, was capital in motion. And the summit is set to just highlight the United States'
[1:39:00] financial role and the interactions with the other powerhouse financial countries across the world.
[1:39:08] But yeah, President Trump, his speech he just gave, that was him concluding the three-day series of this closed-door strategic roundtable financial discussion.
[1:39:19] I've talked about how there is or there were a lot of influential figures from Elon Musk to the Saudi
[1:39:26] ambassador, the princess, the minister of finance, just a lot of well-known influential people. And
[1:39:37] yeah, I thank you for joining. As mentioned, there was
[1:39:40] a couple hundred of you guys watching on YouTube. There was about 1,400 of you guys on our TikTok
[1:39:48] stream. Lots of comments that way. And of course, once I do close this stream, you can watch it in
[1:39:55] full back on our Fox 10 Phoenix YouTube channel. But thank you for joining. I am Fox 10 Phoenix
[1:40:00] live stream journalist Isabella Fredrickson. And be sure to stick with Fox 10 Phoenix for all of
