yes good afternoon we're gonna call the special meeting of the City Commission to order thank you may I make a motion to in not yet would you call the roll please Commissioner marker here Commissioner Casale deputy vice mayor burns here mayor Carney may I make a motion to allow mayor Carney to attend virtually please I'll second that thank you all in favor aye aye okay real Carney you're here yes okay yes welcome okay so we have okay we have one item on the agenda and that is to accept the election the recent election results um and I think the clerk has something that she needs to read into the record the special meetings to declare the results of the March 10th 2026 first nonpartisan election to accept the cumulative totals for each candidate for commissioner seat number two including all regular absentee and provisional votes as ascertained by the Palm Beach County supervisor of elections and that is hereby declared based on the foregoing results that Judy Mollica was elected as commissioner member number seat number two for a three-year term commencing on the 26th day of March 2026 and ending in accordance with the charter and now I will read the official results of the election Andrea M Kaiser received 2,324 votes Judy Mollica received 2,745 votes and Dolores Rangel received 1,744 votes and that concludes the reading of the election results held on March 10th 2026 thank you this is a public we get to open it up for the public comment I have that in front of me here I'm sorry it's listed on the agenda okay thank you at this time we'll entertain any public comment are there any public comment going once okay seeing now public comment close do I now we need a motion basically a motion to accept the results so moved second all in favor or do we need a roll call you know all in favor aye aye aye any opposed okay we've got that mayor thank you I said aye in case you didn't hear me I said aye passes unanimously thank you okay is that it that's it okay meeting adjourned thank you that was the fastest meeting ever
