I wanted to do, and now I think we need to call for nominations for the vice mayor. And with that, I'd like to open up nominations for the vice mayor. Is there anybody that would like to make a nomination? I'd like to nominate Commissioner Robert McKenzie, and I'd like to read his bio briefly. He's well-deserving of this honor. He's a native of Fort Lauderdale, graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bethune-Cookman University. Prior to his election to Broward County Commission, he was elected to serve District 3, commissioned to the city of Fort Lauderdale in 2014. During his time, he was instrumental in bringing more development to the district. He is our county commissioner, and he has done well. His main concern is improving housing and expanding Port Everglades and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, and creating economic opportunities throughout Broward County.
